hiiiiiiii we havent sent you any asks for some time. mostly because kanra didnt front much

ereyesterday our their of pissed suggested getting into an outpatient psychward and told us to think about it. and silver[headmate] made a post on the tumbler saying that this could be a bad idea because somewhat recently i made a hole in a wall and less than a week ago Lyra messed up a cupboard. as if we're the only ones who on occasion damage stuff when angered. this is literally so mean for no reason.

also. a few months ago shinra had an accident with a knife. and we got a fun new 1 inch long scar and possibly a little bit of nerve damage or something. and we were supposed to get some reminder tetanus shot around a month after that since i had no idea when was my previous tetanus shot. and i uhhhhhhh didn't get it since i'm scared of doctors, and it would probably seem quite weird if i went to a doctor about this now

also im sorta balding but. scared of doctors so cant do anything about that

last sunday i was in some social studies class or some other shit. and the teacher said something about how lgbt people were never oppressed in this country. which is a very bold thing to say as someone living in a country in which like a quarter of the area declared itself a "lgbt free zone" and only calmed down a little when the european onion told them that that's probably illegal. and i decided to argue with the teacher a bit. one of the things she said was that sometimes there's dudes in pup masks on pride parades, which invokes disgust and thus should be banned, and. idk why but i kinda expected teachers to have a bit more common sense than 14 year old twitter users. also i came to school wearing a spiked dog collar on a regular basis. [for reasons unrelated to kink.]

well. good thing i'm failing every single one of my classes lmao. at least i won't be invoking disgust in fragile old ladies

also. i just met a doggy and he was very niceys. very soft and friendly. and polite also.

why is this so important? because you cannot Fucking leave a psych ward. an outpatient ward yeah you can leave, but ive been to both in and outpatient and they excert the same level of bullshit control over their patients. in outpatient, one of the therapist told me "you are not mentally ill" and made me cry lol. she MEANT to mean it in a "you're not mentally ill, you're ~suffering from a mental illness~ uwu dont let ur disorder define you" kinda way, but that concept was introduced in therapy..... two days after she told me this. like hello? and then she tried to spin it as like, it was a problem with Me i.e. My PTSD Was Triggered and not She Is Dog Shit At Timing The Explaining Of Concepts.

this place also invited my abuser into group therapy even after me incessantly telling them "this is my abuser, she will use all this against me" and yeah guess what she did immidiatley after lol

dont go to wards.

WRT THE KNIFE: damn :0 thats insane dude, hopefully the nerve damage will heal but from experience its gonna take like, a few years at minimum lmao. i had a Knife Incident involving my pinky and the nerve damage was so bad that i couldnt hold scissors w my pinky in the scissor loop thing but evenchually it got better but it took like 4 years. if the knife was clean and not rusty ur risk of tetanus is pretty low i THINK, do not quote me on this. if ur scared of doctors, look into if ur pharmacy offers tetanus shots! some pharmacies have vaccinations other than flu and covid (which i need 2 get lol rip) so u might be able to get one THERE and not see A Doctor about it!

u dont need a doctor for the balding. minoxidil my dear boy, its at walmart, its the stuff thats in rogaine. you want "minoxidil 5%" thats whats in rogaine, theres "minoxidil 3%" thats For Girls but idk ive never heard of anyone having a problem w it. cause i was listening to a music review podcast (with some pitchfork writers) who said the the guys were "the kind of losers who read music reviews and kept up with npr (music)" they ment this affectionately ofc

I’m inclined to say no. At least not current, 34 year old Matty. Maybe 2014 Matty would have cared. Fuck you Pitchfork btw. That’s what you get for “villain of the year.” Karma is a bitch, isn’t it?

Anyways, on to the matty thing….all throughout the BFIAFL era (and maybe even since ABIIOR? I’ve got pandemic brain I can’t remember when shit happened anymore), he has been saying that, music reviewers are irrelevant. Especially in the wake of the invention of music streaming. In other words, when he was young, music fans would go and buy the NME, MTV, Pitfork, etc mags and look at what those critics recommend out of the new music that’s coming out, and they’d spend their money on the CDs that those “experts” recommended. But nowadays, you pay like $10-14 a month and you have access to alllllllll the music that has ever existed. Which is why you now see kids listening to Adele but also Lil Nas X or One Direction but also Mahler, The 1975, Taylor, etc. “tastemakers” have ceased to be relevant. They don’t dictate culture anymore. The algorithm does.

He has also said (I can’t remember if it’s in the Zane Lowe thing or not) that he thinks it’s important that we don’t have an important / significant piece of music journalism / music criticism. Like something we can quote off the top of because it’s so iconic or a specific review of an album that we reference all the time. Cuz those things….like, in the grand scheme of things, don’t really matter. But we do have iconic songs and albums.

So yeah in short I think he’s glad that one less phony outlet is calling him a villain. BUT again that’s just me going off of what he’s said. Maybe he’s curled up into a ball sobbing right now who knows.

I live for Katya retweeting her “read u wrote u” verse. I feel like she undersells herself so often and especially the way she discusses the way she performed on s7 and all stars 2 (when she actually did pretty great in both seasons). I’m glad she’s aware of how beloved her verse is.

Me too! I’m all here for Katya getting her flowers. The way she dismisses any and all praise is actually frustrating as a fan because obviously I think she’s great (she is) but it’s not just that I’m obsessed (I am). Her self-sabotaging self-esteem has been her achilles’ heel for years and you can still see it really affect all other areas of her life because of it.

It’s like, girl! Give yourself some credit for being iconic. The whole world fell in love with her during season 7, there’s a reason she won miss congeniality when it was still determined by the fan vote, and to this day people feel she was robbed of a win on all stars 2. That’s no accident! She’s also a big reason why that season is considered one of the best ever! She did really well! She’s an excellent performer! She was lovable and relatable and honest and vulnerable and funny and weird and smart and original and memorable and good. Or I guess I should have probably just said she had charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent lol. But make no mistake she’s got it baby! She’s truly one of the most beloved performers to ever compete on the show and it’s not just because of the massive audience she gained from various web shows after. Like she did really well on drag race! And she did really well at the time as people were watching too, it’s not something people discovered in retrospect and are now championing her likes she’s a cult classic. That’s a big part of why she has her lasting legacy to this day. She did amazing in the show and then cemented it with all of her work outside of the drag race bubble.

When she did that drag race podcast recap episode promo thing with T before season 14 she just dismissed all compliments and I was thinking omg! Stop! You did legitimately really well! Or in the recent unhhhh when they were reviewing old episodes and she said she never made a joke. I wanted to scream please shut up and stop putting yourself down! Truly some of the funniest/most memorable/iconic lines ever spoken on that show are from her. Also she has unintentionally and maybe even unbeknownst to her shared very thoughtful advice, although she’d rightfully claim she should never be looked to for guidance. But she has! A woman of wisdom indeed.

Deep down I know she knows all this but just probably feels uncomfortable admitting it. But her self-deprecating humor so often turns self-defeating. I just wish she wouldn’t have so much self doubt! (Wow that’s a lot of selfs lol). But ultimately that’s what makes her so relatable, right? We so often can see the good in others easier than we can in ourselves. I guess it’s a lesson in trying to give ourselves our due and continue to prop up others so they feel the same.

Seoul

If you told my 14 year old self I'd be going to South Korea I would totally laugh at your face. ‘Cause at that time it seemed like a silly, unreachable dream.

Going to Seoul to fulfill my kpop-addict teen self's dream was one of my life goals and 2019 was a perfect time for it. So I, together with a close friend, booked a flight, got a visa and flew to Seoul.

We stayed for a total of five days. We went to the country side for some greenery, shopped at the streets of Myeoungdong, visited a dear friend at Korea Military Academy, enjoyed at a theme park, experienced Gyeongbokgung Palace in a hanbok, strolled around DDP, Insa-dong, Ewha Womens University and watched Seoul’s city lights from above at the N Seoul Tower to top it all off.

Catching flowers at bloom at The Garden of Morning Calm at Gyeonggi-do was our first agenda.

The iconic Nami Island where the drama Winter Sonata took place was definitely on the itinerary. I wouldn’t miss it for the world! Petite France was also a must-go to complete the mini country side tour.

Myeongdong. I don't even wanna recall how much I spent here.

If you enjoy watching period kdramas then wearing a hanbok while strolling along Gyeongbokgung Palace is definitely something you should experience. It was magical!

Amusement theme parks are always a must for me when travelling and Seoul wasn’t an exception.

We went inside one of the studio rooms in Lotte World and got this photo :>

You guys should also visit Dongdaemun Design Plaza. The architecture of this building is a hundred! I mean just look at that

Seoul wasn’t just a casual trip, it was gift to my 14-year-old self who thought it would be just a dream to visit the home of the kpop groups and kdramas she ever so loved. I Seoul U, South Korea! *finger-heart*

danny phantom episode 4-7 Thoughts: (under a readmore because, these got kinda long!)

-the outfit danny had to buy for dash's party. CLASSIC 2000S i cannot stop laughing. And also showing up to the party and everyone is dressed like the trio is hilarious. and further proof that everyone looks good dressed goth.

-dash has a closet full of cute lil bear plushies?? LOVE that. adorable. also his response to danny trashing his room fighting a ghost was SO valid if somone BROKE MY BED IN HALF ID BE PISSED TOO.

-technus being like 'oh smart, u should be a tutor!' then later being like 'forget tutor, be a teacher!' :) supportive king <3 I also really like his upgraded suit/design. AND SPOCK CAMEO??? HELLO??

-the music in this show is super. its so funky. I looked it up and the guy who does it, guy moon (awesome name) also did music for other cartoons like fairly odd parents, barnyard, chalkzone, billy & mandy, AND some actual movies like FIGHT CLUB??? the whiplash I got from reading that)

-sam being rich explains a lot about her, actually.

(I didnt go to hs so I might be wrong, if I am ignore this...) freshmen are usually 14-15, could just be a case of them not turning 15 yet but they will sometime in the school year (I say they because tucker said he was 14 too)? I know the show has 3 seasons, so by the end of it will they be older? thatd be neat but usually cartoon characters stay the same age...I love shows where you can see the characters age and grow up, though...three seasons seems like a long time to spend on like, 1 year...

star wars human! high school! au

i’ve seen so many headcanons circling throughout the star wars tumblr about high school au’s, so i wanted to share my bit with all of you :D

anakin skywalker

five words: REBEL CHILD ON A MOTORCYCLE.

he doesn’t like riding the school bus because it makes him feel extremely claustrophobic, so he scrapped and scavenged up parts to make his own customized motorcycle, which he lovingly dubbed artoo.

the blue and silver detailing was the joint effort of ahsoka and obi-wan, because anakin doesn’t know how to paint.

if he can catch up to the bus, he’ll ride alongside it and flip off the students on it before revving on ahead of them. (the freshmen think it’s the funniest thing in the universe)

probably one of the most well-known juniors in the entirety of temple high school (mostly because of his shenanigans but partly because he’s dating padme fuckiNG AMIDALA, PRETTIEST GIRL IN THE DAMN SCHOOL)

he always wears this worn-down leather jacket his mom gave to him before she passed away, and refuses to take it off, even though it’s somehow “a violation of the dress code and should be outlawed.”

his hair alone has seduced eight different students (boys and girls)

sometimes during study hall, ahsoka or padme will get a hold of his hair and style it into little braids or make a super rad ponytail.

he really likes iced coffee with milk and sugar. he puts in the milk to make it nice and light (it’s aesthetically pleasing, obi-wan!), and then like eight tablespoons of sugar to make it actually taste good.

his favorite class is mechanics, taught by kit fisto.

anakin spent months on a mechanical arm project to replace his clunky plastic prosthetic, and he was so freaking happy when it was finished; he almost cried. (he did cry and ahsoka got it on video)

obi-wan kenobi

a mixture of the soft™, pretty™, hippie™, grunge™, vsco™ and nerd™ tropes.

he really likes peppermint tea with lots of honey but takes his coffee black.

he has had too much tea.

someone needs to stop him.

almost all of his classes are ap courses, and if cody hadn’t been watching when obi-wan was making his schedule, all of them would be.

him, cody and padme have ap english with mace windu, and cody knows how much his classes stress him out, so he lets obi-wan sleep during class and sends him the notes

the only ap class obi-wan doesn’t take is mechanics, and he shares that class with anakin.

anakin and obi-wan are super close with each other. kenobi was there when ahsoka was adopted, and anakin was there when kenobi got his cat. (they were like 5 okay)

mr. fisto constantly has to split them up for disrupting the class, but it’s almost like they can communicate telepathically, and the teachers have a running bet

in reality, they’ve just gotten super creative with passing notes.

kind of off topic, but he has these brown harry potter glasses that he uses (kinda for reading???? but mostly so he can do that anime pushing up glasses thing)

wolffe is off at college - fox already graduated and moved out, that cheeky little fucking shit - but both still keep in good contact with the fam, and it’s a constant clamor between eleven of the siblings of who gets to talk to them first

fox majored in government/politics, bly is majoring in space/astronomy, and wolffe is majoring in police/law enforcement shit (i don’t know how college works, so sue me)

cody and rex are juniors, and despite their similar looks, the amount of schoolwork each of them completes drastically varies

cody is the honor roll student, valedictorian, whatever you want to call it

rex kinda just either does the work really well or 9/10 times gets distracted by anakin or ahsoka sending him some nice spicy memes

cody tried to tutor rex but it ended up almost landing tup in the hospital

I make a side blog for all my hyperfixations :3 I will admit that I put much more effort into this blog than any others… I j knew when I was watching hannibal for the first time that I would be stuck on it for a very long time afterwards

hottest picture I’ve ever seen. :,) I thought about changing it recently to my Instagram pfp, but I couldn’t get rid of this photo ;__;

7. why did you choose your header?:

my phone theme is like Hannibal/mind palace ish so I have paintings that remind me of Hannibal/hannigram as my widgets! So I thought Achilles Lamenting the Death of Patroclus was fitting for my silly little blog

definitely my “I never feel guilty eating anything” post! kinda silly bc it was one of my least favorites but everyone here seemed to like it! I appreciate the love it got <3

on here, probably like 10? on my main I have closer to 35 :)

I fully log on at least once (unless I’m taking a conscious break) but I probably do a quick scroll through on my phone somewhere between 3-5 times? unless I’m expecting something (a dm reply or an ask answer) bc then that number jumps to like 30x… I’m a bit obsessive <3

14. have you ever had a fight with another blog?:

I’m been fortunate enough to have never fought with any blogs in my 8 years on here (at least not to my knowledge?)

not great. I think they cause unnecessary anxiety about what to put on ur blog! it’s ur blog! do what u want!

as i said above, i started using my old blog for f1 stuff but i decided i wanted to be more active and try and find cool people with similar interests to me!! met some wonderful people and have fully immersed myself into f1 hehe
