D.Danny x G-N! Reader [Oneshot]

Relationship: Pining - Romantic

Warnings: Slight Cursing, A Suggestive Joke, Fluff.

"Here ya' go, Big Mama!" Heaving five large worn-sacks of what you expected to contain Yokai goods, the three partners-in-crime grinned triumphantly. "Managed to loot them flashy broads from a few blocks down, slipped in and out no problem."

Big Mama's features gleamed in awe as she watched the rugged men stroll through her lobby, nearing towards her with her prize. "Oh, splendid! Well, I'm sure you are well aware of sorting your share."

From your positioning nearby Big Mama's grand table, you inspected them as they lugged three of the five bags of plunder onto a convenient marble surface.

Mickey bobbed his head in affirmation. "Sixty per cent on your end, Boss. Just like we promised ya'!"

"Formidable work, boys. I once again thank you for your service." The woman's gaze wandered, examining the stash as she wavered her hand over it all. "Now, I'll just have my assistant here take care of this while you fellas make yourself acquainted."

The mention of your given role had peaked your attention, giving the Mud Dogs a once over before making your way to the table. Big Mama placed a delicate hand on your shoulder, her mouth nearing towards your ear whispering: "Keep a close eye on them for me. Don't want their grubby fingers finding themselves somewhere they shouldn't."

Your eyes trailed up to Loathsome stretching out on a nearby settee with Malicious gawking at the fine art that scattered across the lobby's walls. While Dastardly - the only Mud Dog that had "conversed" with you on multiple occasions - perched his elbows on the tabletop's edge with body facing towards you, awaiting your arrival.

Your over-watch would basically be unnecessary when you already have the rat's eyes watching your every move. Not that you minded his attention (to an extent), you just had no idea what enjoyment he was getting out of it.

"Will do, Chief."

With that, Big Mama made her way out of the area with a rhythmic sway of her hips. While in turn, you stalked over to the pile of moolah you were set to examine, having to position yourself beside the dapper rat; who seemed all too eager to stay close.

"So uh," Dastardly adjusted his footing, tilting his head to get a better look at you. "How's work been holding up for ya' recently?"

You halted your inspection to take a subtle glance around, Danny taking note of it on the spot. "The coast is clear, doll, don't worry 'bout it."

He nodded reassuringly with his brow quirked before you dragged out a long inflated sigh. You flipped your back to the table, the small of your back resting on the table's edge as you mirrored the rat's laid-back stance.

"It freaking blows. Literally the most boring job known to pretty much anyone." You combed your fingers through the roots of your hair, giving your scalp a small rub in the process. "It's shocking how exhausting it is to do absolutely nothing, seriously. I'd rather be on my feet actually doing something, you know, like you guys. Being an errand boy or whatever."

"Errand boys?" An offended scoff was sent to you in return, the sound already making the corners of your lips turn up. "I'll have you know it takes a lotta skill and precision ta' do what we do half the time."

"Yeah and the other half you just spend it aimlessly goofing around."

"Meh, whatcha gonna do?"

You chuckled before lazily hoisting yourself up onto the counter, careful not to get an ass full of coins by avoiding the bags of loot. "Hey, I wasn't exactly saying it was a bad thing. It's gotta be fun at least."

With your body slumped, you held your position with your palms pressed to the marble surface. Peeking out from your downcast gaze, you caught a glimpse of Dastardly inching himself closer to your side. The left side of his hip rested on the slab as he dug his hands deep into his pockets, eyeing your form intently.

"Y'know... We could have some fun, just you and me."

Your head struck up in an instant. "Woah there, Casanova. Try to keep it in your pants, you're supposed to be a professional."

"Whaddya m-" His brows drew together in confusing before his cheeks tinted as the realisation dawned on him. "Oh! Oh, shi- no! Jeez, toots, I just meant 'fun' as in taking you outta' dinner or catch a show or somethin'."

A brazen grin made its way to his lips, his nostrils slightly flaring. "Unless that other offer is on the table then-"

"-It isn't."

"Well," Faltering only for a moment, his thin lips stretched back into a small smile but it didn't quite reach his dark eyes, "how about that date then?"

You just... Didn't understand.

"What makes you so interested in going out with me?" Your brow raised in question, tapping your index finger anxiously on the cold marble. "We've barely even talked."

Bashful, Dastardly brought a clammy hand up to rub the back of his neck, giving his tendons a slight message. "Heh, that’s kinda the reason why, toots. I can't figure you out."

The man let out a sigh before slumping back onto the edge of the table, crossing one ankle over the other as he shifted his weight.

"Usually, I can look at someone and read em on the spot, but you don't put too much of yourself out there. Every time I'm here you give me feelings I ain't totally sure on how to handle, but I sorta like it. I always wanna hang out with you and do stupid shit without the boys taggin' along, it doesn't even matter what we do!"

You winced as he got excitable the more he went on. "Danny..."

"Just hear me out, please." He set his hands out in front of him to figuratively set you on pause. "I wanna get to know ya, and a part of me thinks you wanna get to know me too. So, if you're willin', lemme take you out so we can get to know each other. Outside of all this."

Of course you wanted to get to know him. He was this mysterious guy in a striped suit that would waltz in and out of your workplace every week and actually take the time to notice you around. You couldn't help the curiosity that welled deep in your belly every time you caught him eyeing you from across the room.

You just couldn't wrap your head around the fact that he actually wanted to know who you were. Not just one of Big Mama's collaborators. Not just the associate that idled around wherever your boss lurked. Just you. You couldn't help but be fond of the man for wanting to do so.

Though you were still cautious of his intentions...

Huffing lightly, you replied. "So there are these guys that have been pestering Big Mama, right? They've been digging at her to pay up whatever expenditure she owed them, and obviously, she did. Holding up her end of the bargain as always."

"And this has somethin' to do with the date thing because...?"

"Lemme finish. But as you also know, that woman isn't one for letting someone give her such a hard time without 'semi-retaliating'..."

"I'm reckoning that's where the boys and I come in." The rat roughly adjusted the collar of his shirt, loosening the top button. "So doing this job is the only way I'm going to have a chance with you, huh?"

You couldn't help the nip of guilt that caught you. "See it as more of a test, Romeo."

Hopping off of the counter with ease, you manoeuvred yourself in front of the man, setting your hands on his lapels. You fixed his blazer with a slight pull while straightening it out in the process.

"Do this particularly important job, then I'll consider..." Your eyes reached up to meet Danny's, observing his pink-tinted features for a brief moment. "The date thing. Deal?"

Despite feeling grateful for the offer, he sounded slightly defeated. "Consider?"

Tugging gently on his lapels, you brought your mouth up to his ear, keeping your voice hushed. "It's a definite yes if you get your ass back here quick enough."

His ear flicked back as his dumbstruck eyes stared at you in what seemed to be a mixture of disbelief and excitement. Coughing out to compose himself, he turned away from your form to face the two Yokai that loitered across the room.

"Aye, boys! D'ya hear that? We got a job to do, move yer hides!" Danny ushered them to the exit with a vigorous waft of his arms, ignoring any annoyed protests.

Before leaving the building himself, the suited man pivoted on one heel to bid you a due, with a smug tip of his hat. "See you soon, sunshine."

In return, you gave a simple short wave of your hand goodbye. Though you couldn't help but reflect the flashy grin that he held onto your own features.

The realisation only just settling in, you sprung up to halt him from leaving the lobby. "Wait, Danny! I haven't even told you the job yet!"

Almost cartoonish, the Yokai poked his head back through the door way. "But I just- i just made a big deal with the leaving thing! And no- oh y'know what, I'll be back tomorrow!"

"Okay!" A hearty laugh escaped your lips as you watched him leave for the second time, leaving you desolate.

Maybe he's worth that chance.

Hey, I'm that guy from ao3. I was wondering, do you have a specific place you get inspo for monsters in Auckland? I'm making a DnD campain in the J&D world, aaand I kinda need help haha. Yours are like perfect <3 (Also, if you wanna join us, you can, we haven't even had our zero session and we're not playing actual DnD, I don't know how to play that, so it's ok if you don't know that, it's super easy and fun i swear, you can get a link to our discord, love you)

as for making monsters my inspo is Kind Of Weird? i mean i look at a lotta horror art for sure (my favourite artist atm is Trevor Henderson aka slimyswampghost on most medias, u may know him as That Guy Who Made Sirenhead but he has a lot of other fantastic art as well!), but since i dont wanna feel like im rippin other people off i actually Dont often use that as inspo! aaaand heres where its gonna get a bit weird

aside from the times i pluck a creature from my nightmares (and boy, do i have a lotta material to work with there), i usually either look into folklore (bein mindful of closed cultures like, i believe most Native American monsters are off-limits for non-Natives to write; im white as hell so i try to stick to british/irish/more recent american shit) or... i look to this one game i played Obsessively when i was in elementary/middle school: Spore (which you can find on Steam i think or their hilariously hasn't-been-updated-in-a-WHILE website). I literally played it so much I can just kind of... imagine the whole creature-creator process. I think it’s a curse. I think Todd Howard cursed me for the crime of Having No Friends.

Now, if you dont wanna download a probably-poorly-aged EA game from 2007 (i dont even know if it’d run anymore if you Just Now bought it, i remember the security measures that thing had damn near broke the game before i could even play it, thanks EA) and play through the first two stages (theyre Long) to unlock the creature creator and all the Bits for it, you can either watch people play that shit on YouTube (Monster Factory is a favourite of mine, they did I Think a 3-video run of Spore) or,

You can also do somethin that I once did as an assignment for Character Design class: go to a random animal generator, let it spit out 2-3 animals (or as many as you like, i guess, but i find 2-3 to be a Manageable number) and mash those motherfuckers together! Hell, you can even start to mix in stuff like objects/minerals/whatever the fuck too. Make something that’s a dog, hammerhead shark, and the concept of entropy. Go nuts! Here’s an example, some shit I made for that class (which mayyyyyy appear in Auckland...... perhaps. if i feel like it) :

They can range from “cute” to “nightmarish” as you please! Fun fact, that spider/shark/scorpion is meant to be the size of a house. I honestly come up with a lot of messed up shit by just asking myself "What's the worst thing I can think of right now?" and then I just Go For It with whatever my brain's thrown at me. I did that with Nightmare E.T. and the fucked-up ostriches. 'Scary' is often a sort of personal thing for people, like phobias and shit, you know? Lookin inward can be pretty helpful there. Not like you have to make something of your phobias, just maybe run with something that disturbs you a little. If you press yourself for why it bothers you sometimes you can find something deeper and maybe more universal in it. I'm not talking about unearthing trauma or anything tho that likely Wouldn't Be Healthy just like... if you think spiders are creepy, ask yourself Why: is it the eyes? the legs? the venom? the way they just kinda creep up on you, like, you dont notice em til you see them? etc.

As for the monsters in Auckland while most of them aren’t gonna be references (maybe a few more in future chapters...) I will admit the “morning wood monster” is a reference to the Pokémon Trevenant; the "most fucked-up dog [Dave had] ever seen" was a creature from The Moomins just described as horribly as possible--I can't find it on the wiki anymore??? it was from the 2d animated one, though; the Shitsucker is a regular ol’ Wraith (following a specific mythos where they aren’t just Random Ghosts but beings that feed off negative emotional energy, I can't re-find which one I'm sorry lmao); and the haunted ship thing at the beginning is a vague reference to the Buzzfeed Unsolved episode on that big ass boat. Isn't directly tied to it (obviously, 'cause Buzzfeed Unsolved never has much Actual Ghost Activity, let alone one Throwin Shit At Em jhgfds), more just inspired by it.

Maybe when the thing is done, I’ll sort them all into one of three categories--references to stuff/folklore, things i had nightmares about, and things i just kind of thought up. Make a post on here about it, idk

wow! this was fuckin long. i hope at least some of that is helpful!! also im adding this here cause i just remembered some people use Spore to sculpt like?? beautiful monsters and shit?? like i Know i watched a “speedrun” of someone creating a beautiful ass dragon in it. there’s probably a whole community of people out there making epic and/or fucked up shit and you could watch them build it or just scroll through thumbnails for inspo, but i do feel like Building Stuff Yourself is best, cause it just kind of Feels Nice to make something yourself and go “hey man, look how fucked up this is ! scary, right?” and get that Success Feeling when the other guy recoils and goes "yeah man what the fuck though"

Describe your Jay Myles Planetary Go AMV- I want to know what you see-

FUCK DUDE THAT WAS FAST. ok ok fair. ok so to start off, i DO actually picture an AMV for this HDSGFDSHGJ ive never made an AMV before but god do i wanna. maybe i’ll attempt one in december when i have my christmas break off school?? i need an editing software fhdgdsjhfgsjd if any of yall know one thats free or cheap please lmk. the AMV itself i picture in black, white and bright pink. its inspired by another planetary go AMV, an undertale one from like 4/5 years ago. its how i first found the song so i always associated those colours with it lol.

He stops at the burnt down remains of Karen Doggers’s house, like in the fic i posted yesterday.

We see him get scared by Zalgo appearing behind him and we see him grinning wide, setting him up as a somewhat important character in the narrative. I think. On ‘’don’t let go’’ Zalgo grabs his hand from across the table 'Cause the emergency room got no vacancy And we just, and we just, and we just, and we just Get up and go Zalgo is the one saying the line about the emergency room. He’s convincing Jay to do his bidding. We see the two shake hands.

they want you to be (Who) they wanted to see (Go) kill the party with me and never go home We see Jay doing things for Zalgo, completely unaware that he’s being manipulated into doing his bidding. Zalgo pretends to help him. On ‘‘Who they wanted to see’‘ we see Jay being shown a picture of Doby. Who they want you to be Who they wanted to see Just leave the party with me and never go home We see Doby again, still being a murderer and having fun. On the last line we see him running along with Toby.

You're unbelievable Ah, so unbelievable Ah, you ruin everything Oh, you better go home Jay is the one saying these lines. He’s looking over photos and footage of Doby. He’s mad, he feels abandoned, and like Doby doesn’t care about what it is he’s doing. He wants his friend to come back home.

I'm unbelievable Yeah, I'm undefeatable Yeah, let's ruin everything, blast it to the back row Doby is the one saying this. He isn’t having fun this time though. He’s talking with Toby and Dana. On the last line Godfrey bursts into the room and gets mad at them

Dana defends them, attacking The Operator on ‘’Safe, and I can’t stand it.’’ This is a letter, my word Is the beretta, the sound Dana yells at Toby and Doby to run of my vendetta Against the ones that planned it We see Toby and Doby run out of the shack and away from The Operator. They’ve never been able to escape him before, and they weren’t prepared to leave, so they’re scared.

On the second line Doby takes his hand 'Cause the emergency room got no vacancy Tell me who do you trust, do you trust And we just get up and go We see Jay laying in his bed, asleep. He hears knocking on the window and gets up. He opens the window and sees Doby grinning at him. He was NOT READY FOR THAT OK HE WAS NOT

Who they want you to be Who they wanted to see (Go) kill the party with me and never go home Ok this parts kinda fast but I’ll try to get through it. Doby and Jay hug, then it cuts to the two of them plus Toby sitting on the bed talking. On ‘’kill the party with me’’ Godfrey BUSTS into the room, attacks Toby and Doby and then Jay fuckin smacks him over the head with a baseball bat. The three of them start arguing and then Jay points at the window in fear. Who they want you to be Who they wanted to see Just leave the party with me and never go home Hobo Heart is at the window. This makes sense in context I promise. He motions for Toby and Doby to follow him. Doby and Jay exchange a look and Doby follows after him. Things get a little rough from around here to the end of the song im sorry HDSFGJDSGJ

You keep eternity, give us the radio Deploy the battery, we're taking back control Doby and Toby are the ones speaking here. They’re in Slender Mansion now, getting ready to fight. Engage the energy, light up the effigy We see Jay again, tying Godfrey to a chair like a reasonable human being. On ‘’light up the effigy’’ his phone lights up. Zalgo is calling him. No chance to take it slow By now I'm sure you know, know, know, know, know (one, two, three, four) We see Jay freak out and Z’s appear in his eyes. Godfrey climbs out of the chair and looks at him. Get up and go Jay, who’s now under Zalgo’s control, follows Godfrey out of the house

Masky does something cool here but I won’t say what

Are we still having fun? Are you holding the gun? We see Doby and Jay recovering from a fight. Doby turns around and sees Jay, who points a gun at him. Take the money and run We'll never go home Jay fires at Doby and Toby lunges at him, fighting him until he runs off

I've got nothing to lose You've got nothing to say And we're leaving today We'll never go home Toby turns and tries to run over to Doby, but a huge crack in the ground appears. Toby tries to jump it but he doesn’t make it and is left clinging to the edge. We get a shot of Doby, laying on the ground, too pained to help his friend. Then we see Toby lose his grip

I think I better go now I think I better go now I think I better go now (go home) Gonna go now, gonna go now, gonna go now, gonna go now Go now, gonna go now Go home Some shots of Zalgo in his true form fighting against someone. Then it cuts to Jay stumbling through the woods. He stops against a tree, then collapses. A picture of himself of Doby flies out of his pocket and towards the camera. It’s the final thing you see.

What brands do you see the nations working with the most? (Axis and Allies please!)

:D Most nations work very closely with brands that are based in heir countries! So I’ll go over others :)

America: Al works super close with Nike, he sports their clothes a lot anyway so they might as well use him as branding. Al also works a lot woth car companies to promote new trucks/SUVs! He’s been in multiple commercials (you know the ones like ‘Dodge has six more saftey awards than the following car brands’ that kind) you’ll ALSO see him, very rarely, in food ads. Mostly online food ads where he’s got like...a bag of chips in hand like “Game day snacks” kinds of things. ALSO ALSKDJSKJDBD he works with the NFL and promotes the Crap outta football games

England: Art does not do too many ads, he prefers to keep to himself more BUT he enjoys working with luxury car brands because he’s a fuckin NERD when it comes to cool, fancy cars. Art is seen a lot in high end cologne and whiskey ads. Even though promoting drinking is somewhat looked down upon, he honestly doesn’t give a single shit. He enjoys a good drink and he likes to say ‘Ive been around long enough to try almost every type of whiskey there is and I can say, this is one of the best’. For public appearances he isn’t usually a walking billboard like some nations are *cough*AlfredandFrancis*cough* but on occasion, for award ceremonies, meetings with royals or big international meetings, Arthur will wear big name clothing. It’ll probably just be a suit but it’ll still be high end and he’ll allow the brand to say that he’s sponsored by them

China: Yao LOVES doing ads for cars and bikes!! He also is a huge fan of travel ads where he can stand on the Great Wall or in the streets of Shanghai and talk about how rich his history is and how fun China is! Even though he isn’t the most social, he loves the tourism business cause he likes when people from other places come to learn about his culture!! Yao will often represent food brands and restaurants cause he loves food so much. He isn’t into clothing but he lets brands sponsor him though cause why not?!

France: Francis works with a huge variety of brands, mainly cause he’s an attention whore. He works with luxury clothing brands, cosmetic brands, wineries and has been in Air France ads. He loves when brands sponsor him for public events cause he feels special and fancy and it’s just a great time. Nations used to be hidden away and now he’s just out there! His favorite ads to do are clothing ads in magazines or malls :) The only ads he doesn’t enjoy being in are political ones, cause he doesn’t want to influence the population THAT way, and he does NOT enjoy doing ads for supermarkets/furniture stores/French Walmart equivalents y’know, those sort of corporate businesses

Russia: Ivan works VERY close with Adidas. It’s a stereotype, sure, but Ivan likes to play into that. Plus, Adidas sweatpants are...comfy. So he’ll gladly promote them! Ivan’s got such a nice face, he’s definetly meant to be on the television but he doesn’t really like that so he’ll mostly be seen in magazine ads or online ads where he doesn’t really have to talk, his stand there and look intense as the narrator talks about fancy cologne or something. Ivan avtually really enjoys the process of being in ads! It makes him feel special :) On top of that, he almost always allows brands to choose his attire for big meetings or television appearances when those happen

Germany: Ludwig is not the biggest fan of being in ads at all though on occasion, he’ll do them. He doesn’t let brands sponsor him during public events, instead he wears clothes that most people can afford, not $1000 suits. He has many fancy suits though, dont get me wrong! He just...isn’t a huge fan of being sponsored or representing unattainable, high end things that most of the population cannot get. But...One ad he enjoyed being in was an Adidas ad. It was a three minute clip of an interview about pushing yourself and never giving up. THAT ad is Lud’s favorite and he’s very proud of it :)

S.Italy: Lovino works very close with luxury brands. Cars, clothes, cologne, that sort of thing. He’ll model cologne or collaborate with high end brands like Gucci for a bag or something liek that to draw attention to the brand. Lovi is also a HUGE fan of soccer/football and will promote the SHIT out of it even if he isn’t getting paid to do so. He wears his players’ jerseys and will be in commercials for upcoming games. Usually it’s a recycled picture from a year or so ago but hey! He’s on tv!

N.Italy: Feli LOVES promoting travel! He does commercials for Italian travel in many languages so the commercials can be aired all over! He works with Louis Vuitton and soccer teams like his brother but he isn’t like his eccentric romance nation cousins, he stays out of the public eye more than Lovi does and he does more ads online than anywhere else. He promotes high end brands but doesn’t really do photo shoots. He’ll take Instagram shots at home by himself or do shoots with his brother/cousins! He doesn’t enjoy photo shoots when it’s just him, it’s a bit overwhelming. So he sticks to the easy stuff! Art supply brands will sponsor him to make art! And if he travels, he’ll be sponsored by high end brands to wear their clothes, which he’ll do with the biggest, most handsome smile on his face :)

Japan: Kiku promotes different animation studios a lot! He’s also promoted many, many snacks since he’s guilty of a lotta snacking. You won’t see his face in ads too often at all, he’s a tad camera shy! But he will post about companies/snacks and gladly gush about the things he likes. You won’t find him being sponsored by brands unless they’re startup brands or if it’s merch for comics! He isn’t interested in Louis Vuitton or Nike! And NO! He won’t do a Honda ad...Yes, he knows thats his last name...No, he doesn’t have a Honda car

(Edit: as ive gone through and edited some sections of this while it was in the queue I realize this comes off as ‘the nations are in ads all the time, it’s incredibly common and you see them like 5 times a day’ which isn’t what I meant but I’m not about to delete everything and start over lmao I mean it more as ‘you see them on the television, on your phone or plastered up in subway stations on occasion. You don’t see Lovino Vargas on your television every ten minutes promoting Gucci bags that just isn’t how it is. Being in ads is more of a treat than anything! They’re not really celebrities but people do enjoy seeing them :) )

So Pat and Dee are on student council. Dee is the president and Patton runs the spirit kinda thing.

Logan, off the record, kinda spilled to Patton how they might not be able to do the musicals because they are losing a lot of their funds and its been going to different departments and the arts are not the focus

SO Patton decides to bring this up during a Student Council meeting, now obviously he gets backlash from the rest of the representatives and how they should focus on funneling their funds towards more productive things.

Dee stops them and decides to hear Patton out, he explains how the arts are just as productive and good for people as anything else. Patton thanks him and continues.

He proposes they throw some kind of fundraising event and use the money they collect to support the theatre program and if they get other art departments involved they can raise money for their causes too

The others don’t think they can pull it off and don’t even know what they would do. Dee goes over some ideas and Patton just yells out ‘Festival!’. Obviously, he expands

“We can throw a festival! It can have food stands and different treats, we can have scheduled performances, singing, dance, etc. We can also enlist the help of others to have stands showcasing different art stuff and maybe sell some…memorabilia. We can have it outside, hanging lights and music, food and just a whole lotta fun!”

The others, still a little doubtful, continue to hear him out. Dee really likes the idea and he puts Patton in charge of that, allowing him to make a festival committee. He asks if he can be apart of it and Pattons like ofc!

After a few days, he has a full committee. He hired the president of each art cabinet (Choir, dance, band, art, theatre) Roman being the theatre cabinet president. Logan volunteers as well as the rest of the group. Resident mean person (RMP) (I have yet to create them) is forced to participate

So for the next few weeks, they work really hard to set it up. It’s a one-night event, it happens after school on Friday starting at 4pm and going until 10pm. Patton is in charge of everything while also balancing school and the show. Dee is also in charge as Pats co-director

So it turns out just how they want! Its spread out all through this courtyard area stands of food and trinkets and more, beautiful hanging lights as you explore. There is a stage with scheduled performances including one from Roman, Pat and Dee and the cheer team.

Patton is super happy and honestly really proud, and so are his friends. He worked super hard and the rest of the people arrive and everyones having a great time. People have dates, eating candy apples and Pattons walking around with a clipboard making sure everythings going well and Logan just stops him

He tells him everything going great and that he should try and enjoy it so he takes his hand and leads him to the super cool roller rink that Patton was able to get and they skate around and after just chill getting some snacks

Dee and Remus go around to the fun little rides having a blast, Remus just kisses Dee the entire time

Ro tries to drag Virge to every stand and just look and admire everything, its very energetic

Emile and Remy are busy running a coffee and sweet treats stand! Its one of the most popular ones

Now obviously things go wrong, because when don’t they? RMP isn’t too happy that this is going well and (they also create trouble during the process, including talking to Patton’s parents, terrorizing Dee and Pat and just being awful) they decide to set somethings wrong

He decides to shut off power and electricity, causing a lot of what they rely on to fail. So Logan enlists Dee and Pats help to figure out what happened, and Dee says he can try and fix it but it might take awhile, so while Remus helps Dee. Patton and Logan gotta figure out how to keep people calm and entertained

So they get on stage and start talking and just thanking people for coming, people are wondering what happened, Patton asks Logan to stall as he races to the school and brings out a bunch of candles that they have

He sets them out with Ro and Virge and it looks dazzling, people continue and Dee eventually tells them he can’t fix it, Patton assures him its fine and does the fireworks early

But it seems people are having a good time and they continue until closing. The committee stays around to help clean up and they even find out that RMP was the one who tried to sabotage everything

Once everything is done and most people go home its just Dee, Remus, Lo and Pat.

Dee congratulates Pat and he returns the gesture before Dee leaves with Remus holding his hand sleepily

So Pat and Logan stand doing one more check when suddenly Logan kisses Patton, and as if on cue the last firework explodes and the lights come back on (Right basically I love them) He tells him how amazing his work was and how proud he is

It was a pretty magical night and they raised a whole bunch of money to support the arts!

Heyhey Night! I have a buncha questions after seeing all your animations and they're just so cool so! I hope this is ok!! Can u animate normally too, or only pixel? Oh stars, okay, yeah- I’m happy to answer all these!! I’ll break them up so it’s easier to read X) And awww geez thank you so much for your support, sweet anon! It really makes my day when people say they like anything I’ve made, and stars knows it’s all the more true with the sweet sweet time sink that is animation (´•̥̥̥\\ヮ\\•̥̥̥` )

Can u animate normally too, or only pixel?

This one cracks me up a little, don’t worry about it XD I totally can! In fact I enjoy it a lot - and... gods, animation software is a nightmare and a half, to be honest. That’s the biggest hurdle.

I do just straight up love pixel art and the aesthetic I can achieve with it, but I do at times miss ‘normal’ (non pixel?) animation, heh. Especially sound-syncing! I do all my pixel art in Asesprite which imo is the best pixel art program, not to mention made by an actual pixel artist - buuuut it doesn’t have a sound file option. Which makes sense! Er, frankly, most pixel artists wouldn’t... use it to animate like I do? More for games, or for looping gifs? So I can’t complain much, it makes a lot of sense that it’s a low dev priority.

Now, when it comes to other animation programs... I’ve tried a lot. Unfortunately, the ones that are preferable for the feel I like are either way out of budget (stares at TVPaint in the distance) or... well, have too high a learning curve for my single-person workflow, really. (OpenToonz, sigh...) And a lot of the free programs are good for getting a start in animation, but once you get to a certain point you really feel the limitations (whether it’s workflow, sound import, exports, trying to make something more finished than a rough...).

Then... there’s animation programs I just don’t like, and a lot of those are angled towards bone-style animations (nothing wrong with those, they just don’t fit my style? and are too much time investment for a single artist to output more quickly...), or are, well, freakin’ Adobe Animate.

I... gods, I do not like Animate (formerly Flash). And I made a whole 2 minute+ animation in it a couple years ago! (It’s very rough and bad and doesn’t make sense, pfff, not gonna link it XD) It’s... clunky, and vector oriented, and freaking lines don’t go where I want them too, and it tries to predict too much?? It’s hard to put to words, gah. For me, my animation style would be much more... raster oriented. Flow, hand drawn inbetweens, yaddayadda. Animate’s great for... plenty of things, but not for that kind of animation. There are far better animators than I who make it work with freakin’ aplomb though! So really, it’s just my taste, haha.

.... Er, that got long! I’ll cut off more rambling about animation software and tl;dr boil it down to “I love animating period, but turnaround is something I have to keep in mind as a freelancer, as well as budget, and my current focus is pixel animations for a number of reasons.” X)

What's ur preferred kinda animation?

I’m not exactly sure what this one means! Between pixel and non-pixel? Er, they both have their pros and cons, so I couldn’t say! But if I have to break down my current animations into categories, I’d say I have cutscenes, loop environments, and the broad game-like animations...

The first would be something like this animation feat. teasing Edge, the second would be something like this one with skesgo’s Starlan and Cinnamon, and the third is... everything else! From headsprite loops to ‘small’ characters running and so on.

Honestly, they’re all a lot of fun for different reasons! Cutscenes are generally the most challenging, but they give me the chance to push my limits and try and pull off something cool, whether I’m having to conserve frames (to keep the cost of a commission down) or whether I’m going more all out (which is a pricey commission, or a fun personal project, lol).

Loop environments are their own challenge - it may not look like it, but I put a lot of thought into how to make them look as natural as possible! From timing of talking characters, to where to place a blink, to exactly how many frames it’ll take to ‘soften’ a motion (so people aren’t just snapping between major poses) and so on - it takes... a lot of time to animate even simple scenes well, so I do a lot of mental math on how I can keep things affordable when someone approaches me for a commission. And frankly, I totally undercharge;; but I do my best!

Game-like animations are just fun. They range, they’re silly, to intense (I’ve animated fight animations before for game concepts), to indulgent, and beyond! Headsprites are always a delight, especially if I get to push the expression X) and I love tiny things (I mean... I am a pixel artist...) so getting to make lil tiny babs even just walking can be fun - and also, a lot more time consuming than you might thing, esp if you wanna make it smooth, like this lil Frisk I did last month or so:

Okay, lipsyncing basically is very time consuming. AND, I freakin’ love it. I love puzzles, and when it boils down to it, that’s what super fun & expressive lip syncing is (some Ghibli animations are the heckin’ best for this)...

and, I’m a pixel artist, without sound-syncing capabilities in her main art program oTL Yeah, I can export frames and line them up and check but... gods, it’s so time consuming. I’ve tried it out of desperation - but for even five seconds of sound (sayyyyy a lil Vine...) that’s hours upon hours of transferring back and forth just to check.

So even though I love lipsyncs, they’re too time-consuming (and ergo, if I’m being commissioned, often too expensive) to do often! Someday I’d like to get back to doing them more often, but for now, practically I stick to/’prefer’, in the loosest terms, to do lipflaps. For the layman, this is that ‘two frame’ (maybe three) open-closed style of animating mouths- however, I’m working on ways to keep that style, but make it more expressive! It depends on the project - and in commissions, I’ll pretty much always prioritize giving the client a little more body animation than mouth animation, unless it’d really fit what they’ve requested.

What's the hardest part of the animation process??

.... damn, this is a tough one! Sometimes I’d say it’s the initial concept work - but it depends on what I have to work with. Sometimes that parts a breeze - and honestly freeing, bc I can take the time to try and push what I’ll do with it!

Roughing is one of my favorite parts, tbh. It can be tricky, sure, but getting to go from keyframes to in-betweens & smears to adding the flairs of secondary motion (think hair swishing, or coats flaring, etc) is so exciting and satisfying.

From there it’s all refining, and tweaking...

Hm. Honestly, the hardest is probably the initial cleanup and lining. It’s cool to see it come together, but it feels so much slower, and it can drag - and then you find bits that actually don’t translate well from the rough stage, so you have to go back and rework, and oof it can just drag in this phase, heh. Plus, I’m always tempted to add more frames, but it’s not always realistic - I’m a perfectionist, to say the least, so I’m constantly having to leash myself back so I don’t turn a project into a half-a-year undertaking, pff.

What's ur favorite??

Probably gave myself away talking about the roughing stage X) It’s just loose and fun and free! But seeing it all come together is also damn satisfying too, so that’s not to say I don’t like the refining portions either...

Outside of that, I also really like the beginning of the color stage! .... Before having to translate shadows/highlights to each and every frame *shudders*. That gets tedious, but it’s so critical! Anyways, though, I heckin’ love colors. I always have a rough palette in mind at the start of the process, but I go ham and play with it as a little break and a true test when I get to actual slap together a full frame with full color, highlights/shadows included! It’s exciting, like a preview of the finished product, basically :D

Any part u don't like?

Heh, by the time I get to shadows/highlights, I tend to be getting impatient, I suppose. It’s not that I don’t like it - I definitely highly value it, and if it was the only thing I was working on in an animation that’d be different, but as a one-woman team I’m just raring to be done at that point; it’s very nearly the last thing I do, after all, so it’s a struggle to focus. X)

I suppose one that always gets me is more complicated backgrounds. It’s a work in progress, as I’m getting better and finding the fun in them for sure! But I’m still not where I want to be in translating ‘background concept’ to ‘finished background’ - it feels more stiff than my animations, I guess. So it’s a frustrating part... but hey, it’s part of it! And learning to embrace the challenge is a big help.

... I just always have to make sure I have a big cup of coffee and a good jam playlist going when I sit down to do ‘em, in the meantime.(=▿= ||||)

What's a thing people don't see that u put a lotta time into?

Definitely the coloring. This goes for both backgrounds and the animated characters themselves. It’s... never as simple as it looks? It’s time consuming, and while some parts of frames can be copy-pasted, I also put subtle work into the animations that mean that some pixels are off so it ends up being marginally faster to just recolor, but then there’s shadows, and working in pixels means that if I miss one then there’s a flickering pixel mid-animation, and sometimes there’s an unconnected line and then you bucket fill the whole damn thing, and gods know I’ve got colored lines so I have to be exacting with keeping the same ratios highlighted vs darker in shifting frames...

*deep breath*

... Yeah, basically the coloring is super time consuming. And balancing bg coloring with animated elements in the image itself is a whole extra challenge on top of that. For 99% of my animations, I can damn near guarantee I’ve spent at least twice as much time coloring it as I have animating it.

... Stars above, I can’t choose! I love them all, and at this point a good portion of them are commissions- it wouldn’t feel right to choose!

... also, that said, I can admit a soft spot for any of them that involve humor. I tend to get to do extremely expressive faces and action there, even if I have to ration the frames, so it turns out really fun X)

And though rough and I’ve definitely done stuff I’m more proud of, I still crack up at this one I did a while back of the nonsense ‘ass’ joke between Red & Stretch... their faces were too much fun XD I’ve gotten waybetter since then though, Big Oof, I see so many things I can fix; might go back and redo it someday.

Honestly, though, I just freakin’ love animating! They all have their ups and downs andI always put a lot of love into them and find a way to have fun with it and try to push any emotion/theme (when applicable). I like to think it shows, but idk, that’s something I have to leave up to you guys X)

Who: Mason McCarthy & Sam Evans

When: Friday night - 10/26

Where: Breadstix

What: cute first date stuff

Mason knew the nerves didn't make sense. He knew Sam pretty well by now, they'd hung out quite a few times and talked pretty consistently for almost a month now, but the idea of things shifting... that had to be what the nerves were from. As soon as they got to Breadstix Mason slid into a booth and started fiddling with his napkin, giving Sam the shyest grin as he offered him a breadstick. "You look really good. I know I've said that like... a half dozen times already, but you really do."

Sam grabbed a breadstick and bit a piece off, willing himself to relax. He'd been on plenty of dates before. But this was different for some obvious reasons and maybe some not as obvious ones. He wasn't sure yet. He smiled softly at Mason's compliment. "You do too. I'm gonna be honest. This is my first date with... a guy. Not that it's totally different. A date's a date, right? But it feels kinda different, I guess."

Mason took a bite out of his own breadstick and washed it down before replying, the weird shy feeling creeping out again and making it hard to speak normally. "If it makes you feel any better this is my first date with a guy too. It feels... definitely something new. Good, but it's still new. At least the basics are still the same! Plus we don't have to deal with the super awkward initial get to know you part in the process."

"I guess it's harder to get a date with a guy around here," Sam reasoned. "But Blaine has two boyfriends, so I still think he must be really good at this dating thing, no matter what he says." He shrugged and slurped at his water for a moment. "That's true. I already know you're awesome."

"I've never met anyone who had two boyfriends before so he must be a big smooth talker...." Mason thought back to what Sebastian had mentioned about the three of them and blushed all over again. "What did he tell you about this whole dating thing, then?" It was an assumption, but not one he was too worried about making. "Same! Plus, you know from the get-go we'll get along."

"He is pretty charming. I think it's a requirement to be a Warbler," Sam chuckled. His own cheeks turned a soft pink at the question though for different reasons. "If I tell you that, I'll have to tell you what I asked him and then you'll know what a major doofus I am, so..."

"I think so, considering Sebastian and Skylar seem to have a similar vein of charming too. Just... slightly different." Mason's eyebrows raised and he leaned forward in his seat curiously, both elbows going up on the table. "I wouldn't think you were a doofus, Sam!"

"Blaine's totally got a nerd side too though, which is why we make such good friends." Sam nodded simply before he saw Mason leaning in towards him and he sighed. Mason already agreed to go out with him, so he might as well just be honest since it obviously wasn't going to freak the guy out too much. "I just asked him what I should do cause I liked you... I do like you. And I didn't know if you liked me and I didn't want you to stop being my friend," he admitted, looking down at his menu for a moment. "So he told me to just... ask you to dinner and see how you reacted. And if you weren't into it I could play it off like a friend thing."

"Blaine has a nerd side?! Like, outside of the musicals and stuff?" Mason was genuinely surprised - Blaine seemed very suave, and he admittedly didn't typically associate suave with nerdy. The idea of Sam being nervous about asking him out - and not knowing if Mason liked him back - had a pleased grin spreading over his face and he reached forward to squeeze Sam's hand quickly before letting it go. "I like you too. Just for the record. I also think that was a brilliant idea on his part, but I can definitely say it wasn't needed - I was already trying to figure out how to tell you that I wasn't just like... jokingly flirting with you."

"Oh, yeah. He sends me links to the best Star Wars fanfic. And we were talking about starting a superhero club before he transferred," Sam explained. He smiled as Mason's hand laid over his and he squeezed back, finding himself kind of sad when Mason took his hand back. "Yeah? I mean that makes sense, since you said yes and everything. But it's nice to hear and stuff."

“Okay but please tell me there’s some shipping of the robots in there. You should still start that! I know several interested parties.” Where before their hands had touched, Mason let his foot nudge forward until it was pressed again Sam’s, looking a little shy still. “Yeah. Like.... it’s really really nice to be able to call you my date. Plus, you have good taste in restaurants!”

"If it exists, someone will ship it, that's for sure. I like the ones about Endor and ewoks. They get way too much hate if you ask me," Sam insisted, shaking his head in disappointment. "Are they all you?" He squinted, but let out a playful laugh. "It is really nice. And to be fair, there aren't a ton of options."

"Tell me, Sam Evans, have you actually written any of this fanfiction yourself?" Mason just grinned a little, dipping his breadstick in marinara sauce. "Well. Maybe most of them...." He knew he was being silly, but it was still so nice to be here with someone on a DATE, with Sam specifically after weeks of flirting. "No, but I'm also a big fan of italian food. Especially lasagna. And breadsticks. And alfredo sauce."

Sam shrugged but then shook his head a little. "Nah. I mean not actually written. I do make up stories in my head a lot, but I'm not very good at the writing part. I'm more a fan art guy. Or I can do comics. But not really long stories," he explained. "I mean, we could still try though maybe. It might be fun. And I'm glad you're having a good time. I feel really like... comfortable with you. It's cool."

"That is so cool! You do fan art?! You mentioned liking sketching before, but I didn't connect the dots to how much you actually liked drawing. What kind of stuff?" The idea of trying it had him nodding, and he was already thinking of things they could do. "Reasons to date your friends, right? Oh! Speaking of! Do you happen to be a fan of spooky things outside of spooky movies?"

"Yeah, I love drawing. I want to learn animation too, but I'm saving up for some of the equipment you need to do it, " Sam explained proudly. "I like to create my own comics and make up characters and stuff. And I do a lotta Cap designs cause he's my favorite." He smiled shyly at that thought. He'd never really dated someone he was close friends with beforehand. "I mean, it's Halloween. It's all about the spoopy!"

“That would be so cool! Do you want to animate based off the characters you come up with? You’re a very Captain America kind of guy, it makes sense. Not just the physique either, but the way you care about people and your entire personality.” Mason complimented intentionally all the time, sure, but some things were merely glaringly obvious observations. “It is! Okay good. You mentioned wanting to go see Halloween - why don’t we do a haunted house beforehand?”

"Maybe." Sam shrugged, still unsure of himself in that particularly area. "I'm just having fun with it and seeing what I can learn for now." His smile returned and his cheeks turned a soft pink at Mason's compliment. "Ooh, that'd be fun! We totally have to dress up too. In the spirit of Halloween and all."

The conversation flowed so easily the rest of the night that Mason was almost giddy with it - maybe he'd done the right thing in waiting to date someone properly who was more of a friend than simply an infatuation. Asking Sam to take him home was admittedly in part to extend their time together, and when they pulled up to his house Mason was already turning to face Sam. "Tonight was so much fun, Sam."

Sam put his car in park and turned his body as much as he could as well, smiling over at Mason. With a quick calming breath, he reached over and took Mason's hand in his own. "It was. I had a blast. I'm really glad you said... over and over," he added with a little laugh. Mason's excitement about everything was super contagious.

"So am I! I'm really glad my rambling hasn't scared you off yet." Mason squeezed Sam's hand, and this time he kept their hands pressed together. The contact was so night and the 'first date' feel of it all was so nice that he wanted to just... soak it up. For a second his eyes darted down to Sam's lips and he didn't know what proper protocol was, so he went for a whispered "Can I kiss you?"(edited)

The corners of Sam's lips curled up slowly and he took another breath. It seemed he hadn't forgotten how to make words with his mouth, so he just nodded slightly at first as he kept staring at Mason's eyes. "Yeah," he finally managed to get out. "Definitely yeah."

Mason waited for consent before he leaned in and pressed his lips to Sam's. The pressure was gentle, but firm, and he let himself enjoy it for exactly what it was. It was like physically manifesting all the wonderful things Sam had been making him feel since they'd first met and putting them into the kiss.

Sam's hand instinctively came up and his fingertips brushed over Mason's cheek. In the moment, the thought ran through his hand how different it felt from kissing a girl. Mason's skin was still soft but it was in a different way, his jaw more pronounced. He really liked it. He returned the kiss, careful not to press forward to quickly and enjoy the moment for what it was. He was still smiling like a fool when they broke apart.

Mason felt a little like he was floating when Sam's lips pulled away from his, and like a teenager very much in like he let his eyes stay closed for a few moments more just to really let the feeling linger before finally he opened his eyes and grinned. "Holy /wow/, Sam."

Sam let out a breathy little chuckle because he couldn't imagine a better reaction, especially from Mason. "Yeah, dude. Same," he replied before realizing how incredibly stupid that sounded. Not that his brain was really in working order right now anyway. "I mean... you're really good at that."

"So are you," Mason admitted, hoping Sam wouldn't think he was too weird for not really knowing what to say after that. "Usually I can string words together at least. I really, really hope that kiss means you're interested in a second date, because if you are, then the answer is already yes."

Looking back, did you expect to write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you’d expected?:

I wrote more one shots than I thought I would and less chapters for my wips than planned. All in all, I’d say less than I hoped for but about as much as I expected.

What’s your own favorite story of the year?:

I have several stories that are my favourites for different reasons, and it also changes depending on what mood I’m in. To narrow it down a little, I think Why are you looking at me like that and Dear Justice might be my absolute favourites. Maybe. I feel the urge to name at least five more coming up, so let’s move on to the next one quickly.

Did you take any writing risks this year?:

Not really. I posted several fics without much (or any) editing/proofing/rewriting (which I normally tend to do quite a lot of) because I wanted to meet a deadline; that was a first for me. Dates and cakes was probably the biggest risk for me in that regard. It has several chapters, all of which were outlined, written, edited and posted in less than 24 hours as I wanted to finish it in time for a special occasion, and while I would have loved to add one or two more chapters, I’m very happy with how it turned out.

Do you have any fanfic or profit goals for the new year?:

I have a couple of prompts in my inbox that I still need to finish, as well as a few short gift fics and my Christmas fic (yes, it’s gonna be super late but you will read it anyway…like…pleaaase?). When those are done, I want to finish my wips on ao3 (Truce or date, the Stepping stones series and (W)hole lotta love and then finally get back to working on a few half-finished wips that have been lying around for almost two years now (in particular my mermaid au fenders, a justice-centric drunk sex fenders, a fenhawke longfic, and a one shot detailing what happened in the tent between chapters one and two in Ten times you kissed me). But most importantly, I want to take a few weeks to take a break from writing and finally read all the awesome fics on my ever growing “to read” list. I’ve been so focused on writing this year, I think I need to step back for a while.

Best story of the year?:

I have honestly no idea how to answer this. There are so many different aspect you could judge them on, and you’d probably get different “winners” depending on which you pick. But well, I have to pick one so… given the amount of thought, planning and structuring that went into it and the fact that I feel it brings across the points I was trying to make/the feelings I was trying to evoke, I guess Ten times you kissed me is the most likely candidate.

Most popular story of the year?:

I wasn’t sure which criteria to base this one, but it turns out Ten times you kissed me is the most popular one regardless of whether you look at kudos, comments, hits or bookmarks. It’s a chaptered story that was posted over the course of several weeks, so it had more time to gather readers than one shots, of which Oh let me how at the moon in your pants is the most popular one by far (also for all of the above). (Technically, Truce or Date is still number one in all categories, but while I did post several chapters this year, I’m pretty sure most of the feedback is from 2016.)

Story of mine most under-appreciated by the universe, in my opinion:

Fics for pairings I don’t usually write tend to get very little response. Why are you looking at me like that, Until we are free (both Kanders) and Things we lost (Fenhawke) in particular are some of my personal favourites but hardly got any readers at all.

Most fun story to write:

There are several candidates for this one: Superstition – I just wanted to have fun with Anders talking his way out of trouble, and wrote the whole thing in under an hour. One of the most relaxed and enjoyable times I ever had writing Mounds of marble – I got to give Anders a statue and then have him (and Hawke and Fenris) fuck said statue…need I say more? Oh let me howl at the moon in your pants - Again, the goal was to simply have fun. I’d been sick for several days, and just wanted write something silly (and sexy)…So when I saw a fun prompt, I wrote a lot of stuff about mage ass… What he deserves was a different kind of fun. Less puns and silly jokes, but writing handers with a supportive Hawke after the Chantry Boom was just really satisfying.

Story with the single sexiest moment:

I think my personal favourite is (W)hole lotta love (which is still ongoing). And the throne room scene in Truce or date was also pretty popular… If we’re talking completed stories, probably Heatwave.

Most sweet story:

There’s fluff in most of them, but And Pounce makes three probably wins this category as it is nothing but high fructose newlyweds fluff. That said, Dates and cakes is also very sweet (also literally, because…well, cakes. Lots of cakes.)

“Holy crap, that’s wrong, even for you!” story:

The statue fucking in Mounds of marble is probably the closest thing to weird stuff I’ve written posted this year, so not much to offer here I’m afraid.

Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters:

There are two stories that are more Justice-centric than most of what I’ve written so far, with a more in-depth look at/a slightly different take on Anders’ and Justice’s merger. Dear Justice focuses on the friendship between Fenris and Justice in a pre-fenders setting, which I’d never explored before but really enjoyed. Fading into you has Fenris and Justice interacting physically (yes, they’re banging), which I’d never really given much thought to before either.

Most unintentionally telling story:

I guess all of them are telling in some way or other, but so far, I’ve remained blissfully ignorant as to how (I mean, aside from the obvious stuff). I guess Setting sail would be the most likely candidate, as it’s by far the most personal one.

Hardest story to write:

Both my fenhawke stories Reckoning and Things we lost took disproportionally long to finish considering they are relatively short pieces. The core parts were jotted down pretty quickly, but it took forever to tweak the details and hit the tone I was aiming for. And while coming up with the chapter titles and general outline for I spy…ruffled feathers and unlaced leathers was some of the most fun I ever had, putting the whole thing together afterwards ended up being an extremely slow and exhausting process.

Biggest disappointment:

Not finishing Truce or date. I’d planned to use December to finally finish first drafts of the remaining chapters (all of which are already half-written and have been lying around for months), so I’d be able to get back to a regular weekly editing/posting rhythm in January. But then things happened and I didn’t have time, so now I’m going to have to devote February to this project.

Biggest surprise:

There were a couple of surprises, but I think the biggest one was how well Dear Justice was received. It was posted in early December and after just three weeks, it was already my third most kudosed fic of the year. It also received quite a few lovely comments. It was one of the stories that were written in only a day and didn’t really get any editing/rewriting, and I wasn’t sure anyone would be interested in this approach to Fenders at all, so that was a really lovely surprise.

THE PERMANENT RAIN PRESS INTERVIEW WITH BROOKE LEWIS BELLAS

Her career has been prolific thus far, and keeps on getting busier. Brooke Lewis Bellas wears a number of titles – actress, philanthropist, producer, director, writer, life coach – and she doesn’t take any of it for granted. Her acting career has spanned nearly twenty years; an impressive variety of genres, characters and experiences to learn from. Aside from the screen, she is an activist for women and female empowerment.

How have you been keeping busy during this pandemic? During this period, have you learned anything new about yourself?

In all honesty, I sometimes feel guilty when I share that I have been as busy as ever! As an actress, producer, and philanthropist, so much of my “normal” life has been spent working from my home office, so, thankfully, I am still able to work and do all my media and press interviews, as I did prior to the pandemic. But, I so miss my people and social activities! I am currently in post-production on film and TV projects with various teams for Red Rooms, Stripped, and The Second Age of Aquarius. As we know, a lot has been halted with COVID-19, but we have managed to forge ahead slowly! I have been watching and voting on a lot of content as a Judge for The New York Chapter of The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NY NATAS) and for the horrific Shriekfest Film Festival. I also worked behind the scenes to raise money for The Actors Fund and Frontline Responders Fund during this pandemic crisis.

In this pandemic experience, I have done some serious soul-searching and have learned a lot about myself! I have been compelled to reflect on life, work, and choices, and it has affected me both personally and professionally. It has made me realize that “the small stuff I sweat” on a daily basis in my career (like whether I booked the film or not) is truly trivial when we are facing life or death. It has given me the time I do not typically have, to assess the choices and mistakes I have made in my career, and how I plan to step back into my career space when this pandemic is contained one day. I am feeling more inspired than ever to create art, film, and TV with a greater purpose, with a purpose to serve the greater good, and to help and inspire others. I think this crisis is making everyone realize that life is short and precious, and I know I want to come out more courageous than ever as an actress!

You appeared at InHouse-Con’s Horror Movies Panel on August 1st. How special is it to still be able to connect virtually, from the safety of everyone’s homes? How was that experience?

Wow! I love that you asked this question about InHouse-Con, because it just occurred on Saturday and I am still reveling in it. What an incredible experience! It was an experience beyond anything I had expected. I am so blessed to be signed with Coolwaters Productions as my appearance agent for the last 13 years, and when Derek Maki invited me to participate with his horror celebrity clients, I was not sure what to expect in this new virtual world. What actually transpired was something that I personally was so moved by! This experience, to not only connect with the fans, but to connect with the “OG” Coolwaters Horror crew that I spent so many events and appearances with at actual physical horror and pop-culture conventions, throughout my career, was a gift. It really touched my heart to be able to spend a day with these folks virtually and to reminisce and experience the past, and to be in GRATITUDE for all the wonderful career moments that I have had. I think part of this virtual pandemic experience has, ironically, invited opportunities that we would not have had otherwise.

And albeit, I certainly miss the face-to-face energy and interaction, it just brightened my day to be virtually connected to actors whom I respect and admire. And, of course, to be able to have an opportunity to connect with the fans in this way, and to know that they still support my career and, in some way, I am able to connect with them to create joy and some semblance of “normalcy” by sending them autographed photos and memorabilia. It was very special and filled my heart during these challenging times.

You have been in the entertainment industry for many years across all different genres – horror, comedy, mystery, sci-fi – do you have a favourite to act in? How about your preference as a viewer?

Permanent Rain Press, thank you so much for recognizing that I have acted in all different genres, as I am grateful to be known in the horror genre and to be referred to as a “Scream Queen”, but I am sometimes challenged with proving myself and sharing that I have acted in so many other genres as well. I am often cast in comedy due to my quirky characteristics and persona, but, honestly, when it comes to acting, I am always seeking to play a very dark, dramatic, psychological, intense character role, as they are my absolute favorite. I love to dive into those deep, painful, emotional roles.

As a viewer, I love some great action film or television, and I am obsessed with mobster and mafia movies and TV... one of the things that has drawn me to act in that style genre over many years. I am absolutely guilty of being a huge horror fan, since I grew up in the 80’s and I love a good scare. But more often, I also love to “play detective” and watch a wonderfully smart mystery thriller from Alfred Hitchcock, Agatha Christie, or Brian De Palma, some of the filmmakers whom I deem to be the greats. But, if given the choice of what I prefer to watch, I am a cable TV junkie and you will find me binge-watching series, including Sex and the City, Outlander, The Sopranos, True Blood, and my latest obsession, Sons of Anarchy.

Let’s talk about your alter-ego, the funny and vibrant Brooklyn vampire, ‘Ms. Vampy.’ What do you enjoy the most about this character? Will you be reprising this role in the near future?

Ms. Vampy is a comedic mobster Brooklyn vampire with a heart of gold, and I am so proud of this character and all the projects that I have worked on with Ms. Vampy over many years. I most enjoy the fact that Ms. Vampy is all about positivity and supporting teen girls to face their fears and Vamp It Out! I am proud that I was able to create positive content for teenage girls with her, including, not only a streaming series, but authoring my book ‘Ms. Vampy’s Teen Tawk: There’s A Lotta Power In Ya Choices.’ And, make no mistake, I love that she is my alter-ego that I can tap into when I need inner courage or to be fearless!

There is actually a lot going on with Ms. Vampy behind the scenes, as we speak, so we can say we are “revamping.” My writing partners and I have been working on a new screenplay and TV pilot titled Vamp It Out, and you will be the first to have an exclusive that we were just accepted into both Action On Film MEGAFEST International Film Festival & Writers Celebration and Hollywood Dreams International Film Festival and Writers Competition in the screenplay category. We are vamping out with excitement and ready to celebrate!

You wrote, produced, and starred in this passion project as well. Being behind the camera and seeing your vision come to life, how special is that to you as an artist?

I sure did! And, I was forced to Vamp It Out every step of the way, as production is such a challenging process! My first two projects with Ms. Vampy began in 2008, and then in 2011, where I really did take the reigns, both behind the camera and in front of the camera. These projects have been some of the most challenging projects of my life and career, but some of the most rewarding. With any project, when you have a vision and you are able to bring it to fruition in whatever way, shape, or form possible, and that means whatever medium, whatever budget, whatever message you create, it is so fulfilling to know that your hard work is being developed, created, and produced, so you are able to share it with the world. I can assure you, Ms. Vampy is no stranger to... Blood, Sweat and Tears. Pun intended!

You’ve worked on so many cool projects, in particular a lot of indie films. Independent film has reputation for focusing on the story with the team behind it incredibly passionate about their work. What has your experience been on these sets?

Separate of Ms. Vampy, can we refer back to... Blood, Sweat and Tears? You said it best, and I will flush this answer out, that as an indie filmmaker and actor, one must be passionate about the project they are producing and creating, as the experience is not always fun and exciting. And, we are definitely not in it for the money! In full disclosure, I have had some of the most incredible experiences of my life and career on indie films, and have been blessed to leave them with a new loving and supportive film family... while, on other indie films, I have left with the most empty feeling and wondering if I am worthy of more, if I am talented enough for something more professional, and I have left questioning my life and career choices. I have had the opportunity to work with incredible indie film directors who have pushed me beyond my limits and what I thought I was capable of as an actress, and I have left indie film sets feeling as though I may actually have known more than the director or producer, and like I could have given so much more of a performance as an actress.

I have stories that I will cherish till my dying days, and I have nightmares that still haunt me in my sleep. I think that we make the best choices we can in the moment, and do what we think is right, and sometimes we are still exposed to an indie film situation where it is almost impossible to believe what has transpired. Overall, I feel my positive and negative experiences have shaped me into who I am as a woman... as an actress... as a producer... and, have taught me the most valuable lessons and have shown me that I am stronger than I think I am. These experiences have really made me self-reflect during this pandemic and inspired me to choose projects that uphold my highest good in the future.

You are an advocate for women, their body image and self-confidence through Breaking the Chains Foundation. The non-profit uses creative outreach to raise awareness, advocate, and provide support. Tell us about your involvement, and why female empowerment is important to you.

I am a proud Celebrity Ambassador for the Breaking the Chains Foundation and getting behind our fearless leader, Debra Hopkins, to support this great cause. I was inspired to get involved years ago, because I have been an actress since I was young, I have battled weight issues since I was young, I have repeatedly gone up and down ten pounds, and because I am naturally short, curvy, and ethnic, ten pounds is a world of difference, and when you are on camera, you are consistently challenged with people who are judging you and soon you start judging yourself. So, for me, the Breaking the Chains Foundation has been such an inspiration, as it is a cause and mission that supports people with eating disorders, body image issues, self-esteem issues, and body shaming. I have been affected by all of this personally and professionally, and want to support young people who are also challenged with body image and self-esteem, and to support them in cultivating their inner strengths and healing through art, and that is what the Breaking the Chains Foundation is all about: being able to heal and create self-love through the arts, whether it be dance, painting, acting, etc… To me, that is all encompassing of what is so profound and special about this foundation.

I truly feel that our society has set women up to compete, and compare and contrast, with one another. It is the time in our world to break that cycle and allow ourselves to empower other women, to support other women, to not compete with other women, and to really ban together and know that Female Empowerment is the greatest power we have.

You don’t take work for granted, always grateful for your opportunities and the life you lead. What keeps you grounded and motivated on a daily basis?

I truly appreciate you acknowledging my gratitude, as I do not take for granted even the small opportunities that life has afforded me. As far as keeping grounded, well that is a tough one for me, as I often feel like I am just flying all over the place (and, I am not talking about Ms. Vampy)! I feel like I always have 100 responsibilities at the same time! That said, I do work equally as hard to stay grounded and motivated on a daily basis, and that requires commitment, organization, and finding life and work balance, which I am still working on diligently each day. I commit to hard work, then making time for my intimate connections to speak on the phone or spend in-person time with the people I love, which includes my newlywed husband, my family across the country, my friends, and my business associates that I am blessed to have in my life, often since childhood.

I also think it is incredibly important when you are in an industry as stressful as the entertainment industry, to make sure to have your stable of support people, and that includes my talent reps and extends to my life coach, Lori Bertazzon, my actress empowerment sessions with Michelle Colt, and my psychic healers like Mitra Rahbar, Marilyn Alauria and Chiara Maya. I could not possibly do this on a daily basis on my own.

You’ve described yourself as a ‘Glam Gal.’ If you had to pick one, what has been your favourite red carpet look over the years? How would you describe your everyday style?

Oh yes, I describe myself as a professed ‘Hot Mess Glam Gal.’ I love getting glammed, styled, and fabulous for all of the incredible Hollywood and Red Carpet events over the years (shout out to my Glam Goddess squad, Allison Noelle, who styles me for all events and film hair and make up and shout out to my hair cut and colorist Crystal Betke at Hairroin Salon). You are killing me by asking me to pick just one of my favorite Red Carpet looks over the years, as it is just not possible, because I have so many, but I will narrow it down to two. As my publicist, Jessica Katz, and I have discussed on many occasions, we will always be in love with my Red Carpet look at the 2018 Women In Film Crystal + Lucy Awards (left), and, truly, my absolute favorite is my Red Carpet look for the 2019 Costume Designer Guild Awards (right) with my fab friend, and Costume Designer, Marianne Parker. It is one of those looks that I refer back to when I set goals of what I want to look like on the next Red Carpet.

My everyday style is still Glam in some ways, let's just say ‘Hot Mess Glam’ downplayed a bit, as you will rarely find me outside of my house without hair somewhat done (albeit hot mess messy), make-up, nails and toes manicured, and high heels... and if you do, my face will surely be covered by my Dior glam sunglasses. I have mastered the art of being fashion shabby chic, as I will run out of the house in a Kaftan or sexy sweatpants and a cut off t-shirt, very Flashdance circa 80’s off-the-shoulder style or with a slit up the leg. Hey, I have my own Glam Gal thing working just for me!

You have a number of projects in post-production, including The Second Age of Aquarius. Tell us a bit about this one, and your character Tawny Stevens.

I am so grateful that I had acted in, and produced, a few projects that wrapped prior to COVID-19. My Psycho Therapy (Amazon Prime) film director, Staci Layne Wilson, wrote a film with Darren Gordon Smith (Repo! The Genetic Opera) titled The Second Age of Aquarius. Those two are so crazy talented. It is such a fun indie gem that was produced by Nancy Long. I do not want to give any spoilers, but it is a comedy, with a little bit of a Sci-Fi twist, a hologram, and a lot of music. It is really sweet and clever. The two leads are Christina Jacquelyn Calph and Michael Ursu. I am an Executive Producer and I act in it. I play Tawny Stevens. She is a young mom to Alberta Stevens, stuck in the eighties, as that eighties-style, New Jersey, rocker mom. Wait until you see my hair, my make-up, and my leopard pants. I did the Jersey accent. I can’t wait for the film to come out next year!

Tell us about your new film The Mourning. What drew you to this project?

Okay, since I am a Co-producer on this film, I will simply have to give you my producer-style pitch for it!

Synopsis:

Aaron returns to his small Middle America hometown, inexplicably, not having aged a day since his mysterious disappearance in Desert Storm 20 years prior. Concurrently, Aaron’s loved ones must come to terms with the reappearance of the boy who they grieved over and let go years prior. As Aaron begins to assimilate himself back into the lives of his family, his best friend and his long lost lover, it is slowly revealed that Aaron’s homecoming is not permanent. A conspiracy theorist and a mysterious angelic figure, both stalking Aaron, build toward a finale in which Aaron must tie up loose ends before disappearing again forever.

I was drawn to this project, as I am always grateful to have a direct offer for an acting role, and to step into a role that was written for me. In one scene, I am sort of the “comedic relief” character that lightens the dramatic and supernatural intensity. I got to play Lisa “Ass Face.” Lisa was the "unattractive" girl in high school who used to like Aaron and the lead guys. They never gave her the time of day, but when Aaron returns from his mysterious disappearance and reunites with his high school friends, he sees a "cute" girl at the local hangout bar and his friends tell him she is Lisa "Ass Face" from high school. Aaron cannot believe it and realizes how much things REALLY have changed, since his mysterious disappearance. Lisa gets drawn into the intense Sci-fi drama that ensues with Aaron and his friends and finds herself with more than a hookup!

I just fell in love with the themes of life, death, love, and romance in this story, and jumped on as a Co-producer, as well. We had the time of our lives filming this in Holland, Michigan a few years back and I am very proud of this indie film! Please help support it by watching now on Tubi TV streaming.

ART SCHOOL | LAUREN ASTA (Chicago, IL) | Vans US Open of Surfing 2017

We’re excited to spotlight the artists for this year’s 2017 Vans US Open of Surfing that is set to begin July 29th To August 6th in Huntington Beach, CA. Our first artist spotlight starts with talented, hard working, and art touring muralist and public artist Lauren Asta! Starting with a massive 3,000 sq ft mural at Faction Brewery in 2015, Asta has been non-stop mural and art touring, bringing her signature black and white, free flowing and spontaneous doodles to walls and buildings all over. She’s not only extremely talented but also straight up fearless, as we find out in this Q&A with Lauren, where we talk about how she got started painting murals, her art background, and what event she’s looking forward to see at this year’s 2017 Vans US Open of Surfing.

Introduce yourself Hello, Lauren Asta here, first time caller, long time listener... I was born and raised in California's thriving Bay Area, but if you ask me I feel like I was truly born in NYC when I moved there after College in 2005. I returned back to California in 2012 where I hunkered down and produced and hustled until I was able to drop all other job training wheels to solely do Art/Murals/Public Art/Street Art 100% of my time and to also travel all year long with no brick and mortar to call my own. I am a citizen of the world dammit. I'd first and foremost like to think of myself as a Muralist/Public Artist but I think it's safe to just say I am an Artist. What’s your art background like? Self taught or art schooled? I've been drawing for as long as I can remember. First memory would be when I became aware of the fact that I would much rather doodle in sketchbooks over writing in all the Hello Kitty Diaries my girl friends had. I did go to school for Art at CSU Chico State. I got my BA in Photography and Studio Art. But that was when Photography was still pretty much taught only in the dark room. Digital Photography quickly became the trend right after I graduated college in 2004, so finding work (and making money) as a dark room photographer in NYC was extremely difficult. The next (and cheapest) artistic expression for me was to go back to pen and paper. I started drawing, drawing, drawing again. That crucial production time morphed and shaped what my style is today. So I guess you could say I am both self taught and schooled.

What’s the best thing you learned in art school or what’s the best thing you learned while teaching yourself? Best thing I learned in school: make art like everyone is watching. Best thing I learned while teaching myself: make art like no one is watching.

This is your first year participating as an artist painting inside the bowl at the Vans US Open of Surfing! What are some of your top 5 things you're sure to bring along? SUNSCREEN, straw hat, game face, headphones, my Vans of course! (honorable mentionable items include: water bottle, lucky paint shorts, GoPro, party fun face).

Tell us about how you started out painting murals? What was the first mural you can remember doing? What was the last mural? Before I was a self employed full time Artist... I bartended... for years. Bartending in NYC led me to getting a job at a Distillery in Alameda CA. This Distillery (St. George Spirits) is located in an old 65,000 sq. ft. hangar. Right next to the Distillery a Brewery (Faction Brewing) was opening up while I was about 2 years into working for St. George. When the Brewery had just opened, a very large ugly unfinished wall went up right smack dab in the middle of the neighboring 65,000 sq. ft. hangar. Hundreds of people were flocking to this new Brewery on a weekly basis taking photos and enjoying life. The number one complaint was "they should really do something with that wall..." So I took it upon myself to approach the owners and give them my proposal. I proposed to prime the whole thing, paint the whole thing white and to do a mural for a small price and if they rented a scissor lift. They agreed, and before I knew it I was tackling a 3,000 sq. ft. mural with no prior large scale work and no sketch to work off of. I literally just went for it and hoped it would turn out alright. I finished it in 28 days and I felt like I was an overnight success. I completed that mural 3 years ago and people still flock to it as a destination point. I quit my day job shortly after that and have been going strong ever since. That mural changed my life and I am eternally grateful. The last mural I did was last month (June 2017) in Chicago! A sweet rooftop patio mural at Chop Shop in the Wicker Park neighborhood. I am booked with solid rad gigs until November!

What’s been the best part of Art Tour life? Anything you’d change about it? The best part about the Art Tour Life? ALL OF IT. Damn it feels good to be a traveling Artist. I meet so many rad amazing people... I have friends all over the country now! I get to experience all sorts of tasty culture found in this Country and outside of it. The way I am able to connect people with art in multiple cities feels like I am planting little art seeds everywhere I go and watching how they grow after I leave is extremely satisfying. Travel is an absolute luxury in life and I am so lucky I get to incorporate it into my work. I love the feeling I get now when I fly into cities I have been before because I can't wait to see friends, revisit favorite joints and of course to get to work... but there's nothing like exploring a new city. I live for it. I am a big fan of walking everywhere, tasting everything and taking in as much as I can.

You’ve been known to freestyle in a way your murals, never using a sketch, projector or traced outline. What about this particular way / process do you enjoy the most? What would you say is the most challenging part of free styling? I find that if I don't have a sketch or drawing to work from, the end result will always look and feel more organic and it will fit the space/environment more appropriately. There's something really nice about working on a mural in a specific space for a few days and to have the people there, the weather, the noises, the food affect the outcome of the mural. It just seems to fit like a puzzle piece the space didn't even know it was missing. The most challenging part about free styling a mural would be if there was nothing around to inspire me or move me. If a space is really sterile, it takes a lot more energy and specific focus to get the job done where as I can usually just get into a zone and almost go into a "meditative autopilot groove."

What do you do with mistakes if you make any? I used to make sure that I always had some white paint on hand... just in case I made a mistake I could "erase" it. But that always took too much time and it never ended up looking as clean as I like it, so I just decided to not make any more mistakes. I mean... if I make a mark that I don't like or didn't mean to make, I just turn the old imagination station on and turn the "mistake" into something else. I have never run into a situation where this method didn't work... unless you count the time I fell in between two ladders and spilled black paint all over the mural I had been working on for three days... that one I had to fix with white paint and start over. But you live and learn! I'll never try to be an dangerous art acrobat again. Maybe...

Recently, you participated in the House of Vans Chicago Prime 8 event. Can you tell us about that evening and what you were doing at the event?

Such a rad event with a rad cause! The 6th Annual Prime 8 Art League provided a free event showcasing the 2017 selected applicant's work (which I am super honored to be a part of). They also featured entertainment, food, refreshments and a charity raffle that included all sorts of prizes. The best part... all proceeds generated from the raffle and related activities were donated to Marwen, an organization dedicated to providing visual arts instruction to under-served youth throughout the Chicago area. Pretty rad right? I was stoked to participate by doing a live painting on a large canvas that was raffled off at the end of the night. Felt extremely good to be showcased at The House Of Vans Chicago and to contribute towards something positive.

Favorite Vans? And how would you describe your personal style? I haven't taken them off since I scored a new pair in Chicago! Right now I am rocking my black SK8-Hi Reissue kicks. I am obsessed. My personal style is pretty functional with some dressy stuff on reserve just in case. Pretty much everything I own has paint on it... even my expensive threads. When I travel, I have to be incredibly thoughtful and smart with what and how I pack. Give me a simple pair of ripped jeans or shorts and t-shirt and Vans any good old paint day, but if there's something fun cooking after a long paint day, I am always fashionably prepared. I guess you can just call it a "fun functionable no high heels but party paint girl with a whole lotta sass" kind of style... If you want to get specific.

Personal words to live by? SO MANY WORDS TO LIVE BY. But my favorite motto (and a very strange motto at that) came from the director of one of my first really big gigs. It was the first time I really felt overwhelmed and that I might not be able to finish the job. One day I was on the phone with him freaking out and he interrupted me by saying: "Lauren... How do you eat an Elephant?" I was kind of dumbfounded. I replied with "What the hell are you talking about??" He repeated with "How. Do. You. Eat. An. Elephant?" "I have no idea" I said. He calmly replied with "one bite at a time." One bite at a time... I repeat that to myself all the time. I even have it tattooed on my painting arm so I can see it when I work. It's a good reminder that you can absolutely finish something, big or small, if you just keep at it and you don't give up. I love it. I also love and repeat the words "I never want to regret a decision based on fear" constantly.

What event at this year’s Vans US Open of Surfing are you most looking forward to checking out? Damn. I am so excited to see some powerful ladies turn up the dial and rock some surfing out! I have an admiration for all of the players in all of the events in store at the Vans US Open of Surfing, but to see some ladies kill it at something so mentally and physically demanding, I have no doubt, will be extremely inspiring and will give me some pretty radical energy to get my job done!

For folks who wanna follow in your path, what advice would you give them? Produce produce produce. Work on your style like no one is watching until you are so proud of it and confident to show it off. Once you unlock that door, the rest is up to you to get yourself out there. If you have the skill, right attitude and a solid hustle/work ethic... the possibilities are endless and people will want to hire you. Failure is part of the journey. Embrace it and learn from it. Too many talented people give up way too early. This is a demanding job, so understanding that you'll need to give up certain luxuries that you might be used to, is a often "not so talked about" part of being successful in this specific career. The notion of having kids is one I gave up a long time ago, a serious long term relationship is near impossible, putting your keys in the same spot every day is unlikely, clean clothes 24/7 is laughable, not knowing where you're sleeping next week is common, saying goodbye to amazing friends and family all the time is consistent, missing Holidays and family events is indeed a reoccurring event in itself, your taxes will be A MESS, figuring out a Southwest Airlines Boarding strategy will become a new favorite past time... But damn it... your life be passionately exciting and leaving your mark by contributing something as necessary and positive as art in the world will be oh so sweet and tasty and satisfying.

What do you have planned for the rest of 2017? I cannot wait to boogie on down to Huntington Beach at the end of the month for the Vans Us Open of Surfing! This mural job is definitely going down in the record books. I can just taste it. After painting the bowl, I immediately head to Chicago where I will be working on murals all of August. Then it's a quick trip to Oakland for a mural job. Then back to Chicago to produce work for a Gallery show at the end of October 2017. Then a jump over to Memphis for a big mural event. Then back up to Chicago for more mural work and I will be finishing work for the Gallery Opening at Chicago Truborn October 21. One more mural job in Chicago after that then I am turning brain off in Mexico for a month on the Beach. Pretty stoked! Follow along!

I Stella Carrier made sure to save at least 600 dollars or more after taxes by March 11, 2018. I Stella Carrier have fortunately repaid H and R Block around this time with portions of my paycheck. I Stella Carrier have also successfully repaid in full both of my Washington Gas and Pepco electric bills.

On the positive this leaves me with at least 500 dollars or more after taxes to wisely decide what to do when it comes to necessities, setting aside money to pay my cell phone bill etc.

I as your future higher self have fortunately been progressed to being allowed to teach a writing class inside a celestial university that combines the elements of earth inspired songs andor events to creatively incorporate for story plots both for writers residing in celestial dimensions and for spirits who have elected to serve as creative muses to writers residing on earth. The idea was given to me by 7 celestial spirits to incorporate the concert like settings for the outdoor setting I find myself in alongside 70 other celestial class attendees inspired from the music video of Whole Lotta Love by Led Zeppelin. In five minutes earth time, both myself and the 70 other spirits are going to meet up with 79 other spirits from a neighboring celestial class to watch a play inspired by the song Need You Tonight by Inxs. What this has to do with what I am about to tell you in the 4 minutes or less I have to speak to you

I accessed your akashic records this morning to channel the message that the 2 different library sleeptime dreams you had involving your schooling have me reminding you that it is helpful and good for your spiritual evolution if you go ahead and enroll in those 2 websites you have been thinking about related to your educational goals as they two are going to help you with your work related goals. It is more than understandable why you simply gathered information today as it pertains to your volunteering and therapy goals but please also make sure to take action on the information gifted to you as it pertains to your volunteering and therapy ideas within 10 days or less. Yes, this means even if you have to consider doing these scripts just 3 to 4 days out of the week. Eerie because the song Wildest Dreams by Taylor Swift came on the local radio less than 2 hours ago today some time after I was pondering a personal area that I was thinking about. Additionally, the Wildest Dreams music video to the song has Scott Eastwood and Taylor Swift as movie star-star crossed lovers.
