i have been thinking about this panel/strip lately....... it has so many implications
veneziano is protective over romano?? even though romano is the one who decided to submit and refer to england with -sama
is this showing veneziano isn't actually as cowardly when it comes to defending ppl he loves, or at least romano? is this why romano tends to hide behind veneziano sometimes? is veneziano quick to overreact since romano really isn't being bullied in england's defense? romano seems annoyed by his intervention (though he's always annoyed at vene tbf).
this is SO interesting sorry i will be thinking about this forever. feel free to give ur thoughts <3
Lovino is often portrayed as a mafia, but what about a little... faith?
I never saw him among the members of the mafia and, if my memory serves me, he was on the contrary against her. I think he is a rather simple person, devout in places, but he himself breaks the rules, for which he sometimes scolds himself mumbling something under his breath.
At one time, he rose to the rank of Chaplain of the Pope, but is rarely present next to him. He does not like large crowds of people and all the pomposity, when going out in his company, literally ready to explode from emotional stress. It is much closer to conduct a service, rarely but in a modest quiet church somewhere not far from home. There he knows everyone and often buries those whom he baptized as children...
