G1 Climax Night 4 preview
Jay White (1-0, 2pts) vs. Tomohiro Ishii (0-1, 0pts) - This is for 2 points in B Block. White is the IWGP world champion, so if Ishii can beat him in this non-title match, he would likely get a title shot before the end of the year.
Because of this year's tournament format, Ishii is already in trouble coming into his second match. If he loses to Jay, he'll be at 0-2 while Jay improves to 2-0. If Jay goes 6-0 or 5-1, Ishii can't win the block. If Ishii and Jay tie at 4-2, Ishii can't win the block because winning here would give Jay the tiebreaker. So unless we get into weird edge cases, if Ishii loses here he will need Jay to finish at 3-3. That's technically possible, but realistically there's no way the world champion is going to collapse that badly. So basically, Ishii is behind the eight-ball, and he needs this win.
The good news for Ishii is that he's 3-1 against White in singles matches. Also, Ishii is just the type of guy they use to put over the champion at one of the big September/October shows, so it'd make a lot of sense to set that up with an Ishii win here. Although I can easily see Jay beating Ishii, I think it works better to keep Ishii alive and give Jay his own hole to climb out of.
Kazuchika Okada (1-0, 2pts) vs. Toru Yano (1-0, 2pts) - 2 points in A Block are at stake. Yano is a member of Okada's stable, CHAOS, but that won't ensure a clean fight. Yano is always pulling out different stunts and chicanery to keep his opponents guessing. Based on the tag match these two had on July 20, Yano is planning to hearken back to the mean brawler he used to be a decade ago, and mercilessly punish Okada. That said, Okada is 3-0 against Yano in one-on-one matches, so I wouldn't count on an upset. But it'd be cool to see.
Shingo Takagi (0-1, 0pts) vs. YOSHI-HASHI (0-0, 0pts) - This is for 2 points in D Block. I can't find any record of these two meeting one-on-one, which is surprising given how long they've been in the same promotion.
As usual, Yoshi is one of the biggest underdogs in the tournament, so on paper this looks like an easy win for a former world champion like Shingo. But I figure Yoshi is bound to score an upset or two, and Takagi can't afford to be one of them. Shingo should be favored to win most of his block matches, but he's already lost to Juice Robinson and his August 6 match against Will Ospreay could easily go either way A slip-up against someone like Yoshi could be disastrous for him.
That said, if Yoshi was going to beat someone at Shingo's level, I'd expect it to be scheduled to close the show, and this match is not. So I'm counting on a straightforward Takagi victory.
Zack Sabre Jr. (1-0, 2pts) vs. Aaron Henare (1-0, 2pts) - The winner gets 2 points in C Block. This looks like another first-time-ever singles match. Sabre is coming off of a tough win against KENTA, while Henare just won the biggest match of his career against Hiroshi Tanahashi. Hopefully they lay this out so Henare proves he can hang with a technical wizard like Sabre. However, I don't think Henare can score two upsets in a row. Sabre should improve to 2-0.
Tetsuya Naito & SANDA & BUSHI vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi & Tama Tonga & Jado - Tanahashi and Naito will headline the July 24 show, and Sanada vs. Tonga is booked for August 2. As usual, look for the guys who aren't in the G1 (Bushi and Jado) to lose the fall. In this case, I think Jado will get pinned.
Will Ospreay & Jeff Cobb & Great-O-Khan vs. EVIL & SHO & Dick Togo - So far every show on this tour has had a United Empire vs. House of Torture tag match. This seems to be the last one, at least for a while. The only block match it could possibly set up is Evil vs. Henare on August 7, and Henare ain't even in this one. Count on the Empire to clobber Dick Togo again.
Lance Archer & Taichi & TAKA Michinoku vs. Bad Luck Fale & Chase Owens & Yujiro Takahashi - This mostly about the fallout from Archer vs. Fale on July 20. Taichi vs. Owens is coming up, but not until August 5. Taka should get beat here.
Tom Lawlor & Royce Isaacs vs. JONAH & Bad Dude Tito - This is a rematch from July 20, and a preview of Lawlor vs. Jonah on July 30. I doubt it'll be a carbon-copy of the last match, but I'm not expecting to get much new out of it. This could go either way.
Juice Robinson & KENTA & El Phantasmo vs. Hirooki Goto & David Finlay & Ryohei Oiwa - Robinson vs. Finlay is coming up on July 26. Kenta vs. Goto is happening later on, on August 2. Oiwa's here to lose get pinned, so Juice's team has to win.

Debut: Super Mario Bros.
Before I start this post, I’d like to clear something up. Podoboo? Yes, Podoboo! I’m well aware these enemies are often called Lava Bubbles and that’s the name Nintendo has been trying to make standardised these days, but you know what? You can’t make me! Podoboo is a lot cuter, plus its the name I grew up with and changes in society scare me and cause me to lash out! Maybe Lava Bubble is closer to the Japanese name of just “Bubble”, but since when has that been a factor in any of the localised names? Do you really want to refer as Lakitu as “Jugemu”, huh? I’ll have you know one of my civil rights as a citizen of Wet Dry World is to refer to Mario enemies with whichever official name I please. Like it or leave it!
So this is a post about Podoboo. Do you like Podoboo? I certainly Podo-do! They are perhaps the most generic design you could give to a Mario enemy, a visibly Dangerous Thing with two eyes, but they have always charmed me! It’s the little things, like their distinct shape and the fact their pupils are somewhat wider than most obstacles like this. They bring me comfort in dire times. No matter what happens, I know Podoboo will be there, jumping at a set height in a particular spot of lava! Without them I would be nothing!
So simple is their design, isn’t it weird to think they started off as even simpler? The Podoboos in the first SMB game are completely blind, and with no eyes they may as well not be creatures at all! Of course, I’m very glad they are creatures, and their iconic behaviour was there from the start! They love to jump, of course! There is nothing they would rather be doing!
Awaken! As of Super Mario World, they have been gifted sight and are no longer blind to the sins of this world! Hurray! What do you think they see as they jump up and down? I’m surprised it doesn’t make them dizzy!
You’ll be glad to hear Podoboos have had an expansive career ever since, now with their new trademark eyes! After all, they are THE lava enemy! Anywhere you’ve got that tasty hot fire juice, these guys are soon to follow! Here they are in Super Mario RPG, called Sparkies here because they couldn’t make up their minds on a localized name and probably because they confused them with Li’l Sparkies. In Yoshi’s Story they even called them Spark Spooks! Geez, I’ll even take the name Lava Bubble over this! But doesn’t this render look nice and juicy?
Though any great career has its flops, and I have to say... I am usually the first to campaign for the unique designs from the first three Paper Marios, but I do not really like this Lava Bubble! This takes away from their distinct Mario-y charm and makes them look like a Fire Enemy you could find in any other game! Though in the RPGs they are able to float around without needing any lava, the ones in Super Paper Mario act just like the platformer ones, jumping around despite not looking like they should be doing that! Ok!
The Podoboo from New Super Mario Bros. DS just wasn’t trying very hard at all. Come on! They could’ve it a bit more justice than this!
Ah, there we go! The Podoboos in New Super Mario Bros. Wii decided to finally stop messing about and go back to what everyone loved from them in Super Mario World. I encourage experimenting with your identity, of course, but it’s good to be back, and now they are more mortal than ever! A single shot from an Ice Flower is enough to instantly vaporize a Podoboo in a puff of smoke, which is a bit scary! Are they really just pure fireballs that can be put out just like that? What a frightening life to live!
And in Super Mario Galaxy 2, they... hey, wait!! You took away their eyes again! Now you are just being inconsiderate. This outraged me as a kid! One of my most vivid memories of playing this game with my brother involved chanting “Podoboo rights! They deserve eyes!” because this upset me so much. Maybe my past as an activist is why I am so passionate about Mario enemies these days... I think I was 100 percent correct in hindsight, and now you know some of my backstory, too!
What relief it gave me to find out they were back to their usual selves in 3D Land! And they have been ever since, of course getting redesigned for the modern Paper Mario games and everything.
What’s this? Blue Podoboos! Podo-blues, even...! They show up in 3D World, in its incredibly cool-looking blue lava levels! It’s a well known fact that blue fire is objectively cooler than red fire, and it seems even the Podoboos wanted in on the action! Blue Lava is an actual phenomenon I’ve just learnt, though it’s a sulfuric fire rather than lava. Could it be that Podoboos, being made entirely of lava, adapt to their environment? I’m not sure...
As an aside, the blue Lava Bubbles aren’t to be confused with Lava Bubble (Blue), which are from Mario Galaxy and show up during King Kaliente’s fight! They hop around on the ground and have square-ish eyes, which is enough to make them different I guess!
The Podoboo’s next big appearance, in Super Mario Odyssey, was in Soup! Yes you heard me- Soup! Some delightfully pepto-bismol pink coloured soup, no less. This is why I wasn’t too sure about Podoboo’s being able to adapt to their environment earlier- the Luncheon Kingdom is a big soup volcano after all, but the fact these Lava Bubbles are able to live in it is very interesting!
There is simply no way I would talk about Odyssey here without talking about possibly its greatest achievement, the best game design decision ever made! After decades of begging from fans, they finally did the impossible- they made Podoboo playable! Now it is Podo-you! It is quite unlike the other captures in the game, since it keeps the Podoboo’s simple-looking eyes and simply adds onto it a nose and a mustache! You may very well be the world’s first Podoboo with a sense of smell! I wonder if that is a benefit or not. The constant smell of soup might be a bit overpowering.
Not only is this delightful, but it gives us more insight into the life of the humble Podoboo. First of all is the fact that they can swim around in lava, not just jump in one spot! Do you think they do this when we aren’t looking? I really hope so! Imagine a school of Podoboos swimming through molten lava in a castle’s moat. How delightful!
The Luncheon Kingdom is also home to a number of Lava cannons, marked with a Podoboo’s lovely face. These are cannons for only for Podoboos to launch themselves across the kingdom, from one body of lava to another! My question is whether this was technology made by Podoboos themselves or whether it was made by some generous Podoboo lovers as some lava equivalent to the Fish Tube. I think I would take either explanation!
And last I have a Podoboo appearance that even I, the world’s biggest Podoboo fan, didn’t know about! Paper Mario Color Splash has a Big Lava Bubble boss which speaks with you through a Shy Guy translator! It is quite upset that you barged into its volcano and decided to change the temperature. Mario, of course, kills it anyway, and also the Shy Guy translator without a second thought.
Still, just take a look at this sprite sheet! How cute! A little disappointing that they thinned out the eyes, but wow! They more than make up for it with this range of expressions! An angry Podoboo! A sad Podoboo! And my personal favorite is of course the shocked Podoboo with its assymetrical dot eyes, which might be one of the best things I’ve ever seen.
To be honest, I could talk about Podoboo forever! If you didn’t stop me, I would go on all day about their every appearance, but I kind of had to limit myself to some of the most relevant ones. I just think they’re neat! And cute! And silly! Besides, I’m Mod F Boy, so I’m basically obliged to talk about fireballs with eyes! But for now I must bid you Pod-adieu!
...Not! What, did you really believe me? Well you clicked the Keep Reading button, so you only have yourself to blame for this. Here I am talking about more Lava Bubbles from all over, because Lava Bubble’s career has taken it BEYOND the Mario series! Wow!
Podoboo’s had quite a few appearance in the Zelda series, appearing in Link’s Awakening, both the Oracle games, and even Cadence of Hyrule! Their Zelda wiki page is still called Podoboo instead of Lava Bubble, which means those Zelda fans have it better than we do. But wow, this is a pretty angry looking Podoboo! I wouldn’t mess with them!
Both the Oracle games even had a Podoboo Tower! Amazing! They look quite a lot like a Fire Snake, but they are simply a tower of Podoboos! Why don’t they do this more often?
Hm... The Cadence of Hyrule one doesn’t have any eyes. Come on guys! It’s 2019! Podoboos having eyes should be standard! Though they still made the conscious decision to call them “Podoboos” in 2019, so I can’t be too mad.
And they have even spread to Minecraft! In the Mario Mash-up Pack, they replace the Magma Cube enemies, and really there was no better choice for this. And now we have a Podoboo Cube! What more could possibly be left for Podoboo?
The answer is obvious- Podoboo in real life! Thanks to a certain Lego Mario set, Podoboo is now real and can be in your home for the small price of 19,99 US dollars. Please give a Podoboo a home today! Just make sure you don’t own anything flammable.

as you felt someone watching you, you turn around only to see some male's back, walking away from you. haruto fastens his pace to go to the dance practice room with hands full of snacks, he doesn't want you to think of him like a creeper, staring at someone without any particular reason.
"oi, what takes you so long?" mashiho asked the younger
haruto smile, he gives the oldest snacks that he bought from yg's convenience store. he gave all of the members snacks and water that he bought with his own money as punishment for losing rock paper scissors.
they all minded their own business, felt too tired of having chat with each other, they have gotten no rest since morning, practicing for their upcoming debut. all they could think now is their comfortable bed. but as much as they want to rest, they need to get this choreo neat and perfect to amaze the audience.
but haruto, his mind could think of you. you with silky hair and always wear your favorite white converse whenever you came to the company. it's unbelievable how you made him go crazy about you since he never felt falling in love with anyone. but when you step in the dance practice room and greeted them with a big smile on your face, that's the time where haruto felt you are so cute and making his heart fluttered
knowing your personality, haruto felt you are his type, he is completely head over heels for you, and he hates how he can't speak even a single word towards you when he realized his feelings. he felt so stupid.
"you guys!!" you entered the dance practice room with your infamous smile. behind you, lee youngsang, your father followed you into the dance practice room and put his belonging on the couch.
"i give you all 5 more minutes and shows me your result" said lee yongsang, or treasure's dance teacher or your dad more specifically.
as the leaders of the group, jihoon, and hyunsuk yelled out a 'yes teacher!' as a response, but once again haruto felt the cloud nine in his body, seeing the person he likes talking to doyoung, you always laugh whenever doyoung make the dad jokes, although haruto and the others find it not funny and lame, you being the easily laugh person, always laugh at doyoung's joke and it successfully made haruto smile like an idiot.
"who are you smiling at?" haruto flinched, truly shocked by asahi sudden appearance.
"no one, i remember when jeongwoo fell the other day, it's still funny till now" he answered coolly asahi can't know his big secret although he closes with asahi.
asahi nodded and left haruto alone, haruto sigh, relieved as the oldest trust his little lie.
"ruto ya" you called him
"yes,y/n?"
"i watched t-map yesterday, and i heard you like collecting butterfly necklaces"
"um yeah, that butterfly necklace is cool you know" haruto's heart flutter when you said you watched t-map, it means you knew how loud he is, a bit embarrassing but felt happy when you knew what he likes through t-map.

"okay guys that's enough of a break" the teacher yelled, making all of the 12 treasure members turn to their positions. haruto smile as he saw you mouthing 'fighting' to him.

haruto didn't reply, he also felt tired from all day practicing, he turns his body facing the wall, ready to sleep but junkyu's question made him awake.

he starts rapping in his native language, making you surprised, amazed at how his voice got so much deeper than rapping in korean.
"y/n cover your mouth, i'm afraid if fly flew into your mouth" jihoon joked, making all of the members laugh at you, you frowned at him but of course jihoon, being jihoon, he keeps teasing you more and more.
"it's cute how you flirt with haruto with the bead necklace"

the members gave a sly smile at the youngest, obviously didn't trust all the words that come out from your mouth.
"yeah, but your dad said you took the class for the necklace, and you hate beads since they're so small and hard to do anything with it" said jihoon
you sighed as you can't think of another reply, because all of jihoon said is true.
"am i being obvious?" you finally being your true self towards the olders
hyunsuk nodded
"we can already tell you like haruto— the way you talk, see, and smile to him is different whenever you with us beside you only do bead necklace for him only," hyunsuk said, faking his tear at the fact you didn't give them your handmade bead necklace.
"haruto must know about this too, right?"
"nah he doesn't" junkyu replied
"why are you so sure?" you asked
"i was his roommate and i can tell he clearly in love with you, he slept with your necklace yesterday and we all notice how he smiling like an idiot whenever you around"

the members start teasing you, making you turn all red. you cover your red ears when haruto gets out of the recording room. haruto frowned when he saw you covered your ears, did his rap didn't impress you?
jihoon and hyunsuk who sit in front of you could only smirk when they saw how fluttered you are.

as usual, you only sit on the couch looking at the twelve boys practicing so hard for their debut, your dad keeps correcting their choreo and makes sure they all dancing in synchronize or they need to repeat all over again.
you felt pity for them, but they need to practice for a good result. you keep your eyes on haruto, ah, how charming is he? the way he laughs whenever the others making a joke.
"okay, take 5," said the coach, making them all lay on the floor, catching their breath. you smiled as you take fruit juice from your bag pocket to give to haruto but your dad snatches it away from you and innocently drinks the juice.
"how thoughtful my daughter is? brought juice for her dad" said your dad, continue drinking the juice. you scrunched your face, you want to yell at your father but you decided to not make a scene, instead of doing what you have in your mind- which is throwing a punch on your dad's arm, you push him and leave the dance practice room with a frowned face.
jihoon and hyunsuk laughing, knowing their coach purposely doing that to tease his daughter. meanwhile haruto just finds you sulking is cute(not fully knowing what happen), he just wants to squish that tiny girl.
hours later, you come back to the practice room after wandering around the company. you surprised that they still practice although it's 8 pm. they should head home, right?
as you want to ask your dad when will they go home, a groan, making everyone froze and look at haruto who already lie down, holding his ankle. you quickly go to him and check his ankle
"i think he sprained his ankle," you said and help haruto to stand–with the help of the other of course. haruto winced as the sprained feet touch the floor, without saying anything you took off haruto's shoes and socks, taking ice packs from junghwan who go to the store when hyunsuk ordered him to buy ice packs
"wait, i get the first aid," you said and left making all of the members, including your dad to look at haruto
"what?" haruto asked
"i know you like my daughter kid, just confess i'm tired of answering her about you every day," he said
haruto widen his eyes
"w-what?"
"just confess ruto, i'm 100% sure y/n accept you," hyunsuk said
"if you still not sure, please take a look how fast y/n go to you when you sprained your ankle and the fact she only made beads necklace only for you" jihoon added
hearing their words making haruto smile shyly, she likes him back...?
seeing haruto smiling like an idiot, they all left the practice room as you arrived with first aid in your hands. you ignored the sly smile on others face, haruto's ankle is now more important

haruto froze, feeling regret confessing to you without anything special. he needs to give a good impression as a boyfriend! - you could do better haruto! he thought. he apologizes to you in which you reply with your beautiful giggle.
"i'm just playing with you" you said and take a seat beside haruto, taking a brave move, you rest your head on his broad shoulder.
"but really, i'm sorry for confessing unromantically"
"ruto, the rap in your debut album is amazing, and that's the most romantic thing someone ever done to me. thank you" you said while smiling, thinking about his rap.
haruto scoffs, he knows so well yoshi said this to you because yoshi is the one who knew the rap is meant for someone he loves. however, he also wants to hug the older as he 'helps' his feelings towards you.
"let's go home, you need plenty of rest" you said, helping the boy to stand up
"can you come to my dorm? i need someone to take care of me, i can't walk it will cause a late recovery someone said" haruto said in a teasing way making you slap his arm, laughing at his words

let’s talk about Nintendo’s inanimate object characters
look, i rarely write anything Nintendo-related because it’s not really my jam, but my creative juices are flowing because of my deadlines and this came to mind. also i feel like almost all of the examples in this post came from Nintendo’s wackiest era, if that means anything. let’s take a look:
Goodstyle - Wario: Master of Disguise (2007)
the magical wand with the face of the Pringles’ guy. Goodstyle’s subservient and gentle nature makes him the perfect assistant to Wario’s domineering and brash character. the design reflects that: his eyebrows are always raised to indicate worry for Wario’s actions and motivations (which can be described as questionable at best), his head is huge in comparison to his body which is slim and bent, again suggesting anxiety and uncertainty. he calls Wario ‘master’ and the reason these two are a perfect match is how they’re binary opposites. Wario’s a greedy slob whereas Goodstyle is a romantic gentleman trapped in a wand. one’s whimsical, the other isn’t. if we’re thinking about Nintendo’s choices when creating a sidekick for a character like Wario, it makes sense for Goodstyle to act like Wario’s servant because Wario thinks he’s the shit, so having someone who would challenge him wouldn’t bode well on a solo outing (as opposed to the Warioware games which are known for their character ensembles).
Perry the Parasol - Super Princess Peach (2005)
i have to admit, this guy was the reason behind this entire post because i was so surprised to find out that (a) Peach had a sidekick, and (b) Peach had her own game. so here we are. this is the only game on the list i haven’t played but i have watched a walkthrough for it and Perry honestly seems like a great guy. this game was all about subverting roles by having Mario be the hostage and Peach the saviour, but even so, Peach isn’t really given much personality. this is reflected through Perry too: he’s just there. he smiles a lot, i guess? by reading the comments on that walkthrough i watched i found out that this game probably didn’t do well because it was too GiRLy for the audience of the time. i mean long forgotten are the early 00s days when Nintendo was pumping out games for BOYS and then... Nintendogs? Perry definitely brings out traditionally feminine characteristics: soft and delicate, riding the air’s breeze, blush on his cheeks, yellow in colour to signify joy and light with cyan frills just like curtains or lingerie? it’s giving what male writers think a woman’s sidekick should be. male characters can have jetpacks and monstertrucks but women... well here’s a parasol that’s always happy, or in the case of Bayonetta who’s a bit edgier, gun heels. coincidentally, Perry shares the same exact colour palette with none other than Athena Cykes. what a crazy coinky dink, amirite??? *sigh*
Cappy - Super Mario Odyssey (2017)
a comparatively recent character and the poster boy for Communism. yes, you read that right. hear me out: by 2017 Mario holds as much power as Mickey Mouse. undoubtedly the Eastern version of the mouse, the mascot of an evil money-hungry conglomerate. who would dare dim Mario’s light, especially in a solo outing? the Switch had just been released earlier that year and this was supposed to be what Galaxy was to the Wii. Cappy is very much Mario’s “equal”. that’s what this hat thinks. Cappy comes from a world drenched in black and white, where all its citizens simply... exist. they are there to be hats. if right now you’re thinking ‘gee, that sounds awfully familiar to Russia in the early 1950s’ you are correct. the very reason Cappy helps out Mario in his adventure is because his younger sister, Tiara, was stolen alongside Peach. Cappy is naive enough to think that his struggle is equal to that of Mario. has Cappy not played any Nintendo games? has he not heard of the selfish, downtrodden, maniacal, twisted and demented world of “Super” Mario? there is nothing super about the way Mario uses the rest of the cast, namely... Yoshi. foolish hat. in what world do you hail from a kingdom of Communism and end up becoming the equal of a plumber who is the face of a company that sells a $30 Pokemon Expansion Pass?
Satan F.L.U.D.D. - Super Mario Sunshine (2002)
god do i hate this game. i think it might be the worst game i have ever played in my life, like it’s competing with TiT for #1. anyway, let’s consider everything i said in the previous section. despite the fact that Sunshine came out 15 years before Odyssey, i think the idea of not dimming Mario’s shine was there. similarly to Cappy, F.L.U.D.D. stays out of Mario’s spotlight by being mute for most of the game and is used as a tool. unlike the rest of the entries however, F.L.U.D.D. isn’t even given a face. there are no facial characteristics whatsoever and its robotic voice reduces it to a complete object. this might be Nintendo’s most extreme attempt to give Mario a sidekick which wouldn’t take away from him being the main character. i hate F.L.U.D.D. it’s delusional enough to think it does a good job when it’s legit a piece of trash and it possesses Mario and refuses to let go. don’t get me wrong, Mario doesn’t earn any sympathy points, but not letting go? a belt that doesn’t let go? please let him go.

-Technos character in Mario Kart is always Peach. Yes, it’s because she’s pink. No, he has no shame.
-Wilbur is Yoshi.
-Tommy is Bowzer because who else would he be?? Wilbur tries to get him to pick baby Bowzer though (because Tommy’s the baby of the family) but Tommy never does
-Tommy: “Why would I willingly be a baby? Babies are weak and gross.”
Wilbur: “Because he’s cute and harmless just like you!”
Techno: “Because you’re also weak and gross.”
-Techno slaughters them all effortlessly. Literally, he’s half paying attention and he’s lapped Wilbur twice now.
-Tommy’s go-to snacks are apple juice and rice crispies. He loves junk food
-Wilbur is the kind of person to eat cereal at night. He eats Captain Crunch like the weirdo he is.
-Techno is a classic soda and popcorn kinda guy.
-Wilbur and Tommy always fall asleep on the couch. Tommy’s in the corner, curled into a tight ball and Wilbur is sprawled across his beanbag on the floor. Techno actually gets up and goes to bed. He claims it’s because Wilbur snores.

Team Tokyo First Years + Mario Kart headcanons
(Ft. Yuji, Megumi, Nobara, you & commentary from Sukuna)
This disaster happened because Yuji was bored. Isn't this how most shenanigans at Jujutsu Tech start?
Yuji was going through old boxes he never unpacked. Yeah, it's been months. He's lazy.
He found this one that he didn't pack himself. He pulled it out of the storage closet when Gojo helped him move from Sendai to Tokyo and he just grabbed it

Nobara curls up in Yuji's bed as if it's her own; Megumi picks a comfy spot on the floor with his back against the bed; Yuji chooses his beanbag chair; you pick [Yuji's lap, next to Megumi w/ your legs across his lap, cuddled up with Nobara]
While Yuji picks out the perfect playlist to play from his speakers, Nobara takes the liberty of going through the Wii.
She has to make herself a Mii it's a rule
This takes like thirty minutes by itself
She edits Yuji's Mii to look more like him (since he made it when he was about eight) and names it Himbo
She makes you a Mii while over-exaggerating your height (by making it very short or very tall) and names it Pookie
She makes Megumi a Mii real fast and names it Cranky BitchBoy
Yuji tells her to be nice
She changes it to Emo Sea Urchin
Good enough
After an hour passes, they're finally ready to play
Except Yuji only put batteries in one controller and he has no batteries
They tear his room apart before finally stealing batteries from his headphones and remotes
Nobara waits until now to announce she can only race with the steering wheel
....and Megumi prefers the nunchuck to motion controls are you fucking-
Yuji tears the box apart and manages to find a fucking steering wheel and a fucking nunchuck
Okay, can we start now?
Mario Kart: Wii!! Wahoo!
Alright; should we play teams or-
"It's bad enough I have to work with you guys in real life, no"
You and Nobara are on team red, the boys on team blue
She makes it very clear she's going to make them eat her dust
She didn't say it that way btw, that's the most polite way of putting it
Yuji chooses Waluigi because he's a meme and makes funny WAAAA noises
Megumi chooses Yoshi because he's a medium character. Medium characters have a field advantage because smaller characters get bumped around while larger characters have drag. Also-
Nobara chooses Daisy because "Damn they made her so thicc".

Yuji is so eager to play he doesn't care what kart he chooses
Megumi takes forever to decide between a kart or bike and finally chooses the Sneakster
Nobara chooses the Mach Bike bc of how it makes her character look
You choose [cart/bike]
You four argue over what course to do
So you end up taking turns choosing
Nobara pauses halfway through the first race because her character won't fucking turn
Yuji insists it isn't the controller so they trade for one round
Its the controller
Upon further inspection, it was deemed that it looked like the controller had been soaked in some sort of juice
It was the grape soda incident of 2010
Okay gotta get a new controller
Okay it's fixed
Yuji forgot 1) he was player one and 2) he wasn't Yoshi (his normal character) and spent two laps staring at the wrong screen
He still finished 11th. Nobara finished 7th, you finished 3rd and Megs finished 2nd
Yuji ended up catching up really fast until he started showing Nobara tips
See Nobara claimed she knew everything about the game
So Yuji showed her how to flick the remote when she jumped and how to hold the go button down when the countdown was at 2
She rlly did leave him in the dust
Yuji and Nobara lean their whole bodies with the controller while Megumi sits completely still
Nobara gets way into this game I stg she screams and yells and kicks her feet I hate it
She tries to bump your and Yuji's controllers to throw you off
"Noba-chan, I'm on your team"
"I don't give a fUCK STOP BEATING ME"
"IM ON YOUR TEAM"
"AHHHHHHHH"
Slap fight ensues
At some point, Toge comes and knocks on the door because he can hear the screaming from all the way down the hall
"Are you guys...okay?" -Inumaki language
Nobara just complains, so he leaves
You and Megumi are so fucking good at this game
Nobara starts targeting you two with shells until she realizes you're on her team and they don't hurt you
"Truce?"
All you can do is sigh
At some point, Sukuna comes out
He thinks he's a sports commentator
He announces every little thing, like when someone falls or gets shelled
Which always makes Yuji look away from his screen
Sukuna proceeds to bully Yuji for running into walls, falling off, etc.
You laugh but quit when Yuji pouts
Nobara doesn't stop laughing
Despite Yuji being an idiot and having to be carried by Megumi, blue team wins
Nobara throws her controller and screams some more
Yuji breaks out into hysterics for some reason
Megumi sighs. He gets ready to go home but-
"Sit down Fushiguro that was just a warm-up round"
Okay, fine, he'll just beat her again
Nobara pulls you and Yuji to the side
"We gotta beat Fushiguro"
Yuji was bribed with food
No teams this time
"Let's do Rainbow Ro-" "NO"
Daisy's Circuit it is

"Sure name-chan"
"Hey Alexa play Move Bitch by Ludacris"

Nobara is the first to tap out due to lack of controller and ends up feeding you chips while you race
You tap out and end up snuggling with Nobara as the boys pull out another game that's two player
You two fall asleep while watching them bicker over which way to go
Megumi pauses the game and the boys just end up scrolling through their phones and talking-
-Until Yuji falls asleep in the beanbag chair
Finally, Megumi can go back to his room...
...Except, you three are so cute

He's just really bad at emotions

A Little into You (Junkyu x Reader) (Ch. 15)
Chapter 15 - Almost there
Word count: 6.1k words
Genre: Fanfiction, PG13, Comedy, Romance.
A/N: Hello! Chapter 15 is here, and I’ve written this chapter longer than I did before this ^^ Thank you for waiting everyone <3 Also, I’ll be starting my chapter 16 a.s.a.p. too so I hope you guys are interested to know what goes on later after this chapter :D
(Practice Room / Treasure)
“Hands up, straight!” Jihoon reminded his younger members.
All of the members that were younger than Jihoon and Hyunsuk were given a punishment in which they have to sit up straight whilst raising their arms straight, pointing to the ceiling above.
“I don’t get it, hyung. Why are we getting punished too? We weren’t involved in this stalking mission anyways,” Haruto whined, his raspy voice making it sound more of like a complaint.
The rest of the boys who were sitting in the back, Asahi, Junkyu, Mashiho, Yoshi and including Haruto himself started talking and whining all at once, making it almost impossible to identify what they were all trying to say.
Not to mention, it made the practice room noisier than it was before.
Jihoon raised his hand, signalling them to quiet down.
“Now, you boys in the back weren’t involved, sure. But you guys should’ve been more alert as well! I mean, did you guys not notice your friends acting fishy earlier today??”
“No…” Yoshi answered Jihoon’s question.
“Weren’t they all regularly fishy at all times?” Haruto asked back.
“Yeah, hyung. To be fair, we’re all weirdos here,” Mashiho added.
“Hey, hey,” Hyunsuk interrupted them. “Who said we’re weird?? We’re unique, okay”
“Didn’t y/n call us weird that one time though hyung?” Jihoon asked him back.
“Oh. Well then in that case, maybe we are weird huh,”
“Wait a minute, are you all trying to distract me?” Jihoon asked the rest of his dongsaengs who were sitting on the floor in front of him, with their hands resting by their sides by now.
“Woops,” Doyoung snickered.
“Hands up! Raise them high and straight!” Jihoon ordered them.
They all started groaning and complaining again, since their arms were tired from the punishment Jihoon gave them for the past 15 minutes.

Fast forward to Friday, you were getting a hang of working in the YGE Building. You have already figured out your way to your preferred restroom, you have your own lunch spot which was the balcony, and you were fairly familiar where the other facilities are since you were frequently asked to run errands here and there regardless of which floor.
“Y/n, before you leave, can you help take out the trash?” Bomin asked you, his finger pointing at the bin by the door whilst his eyes were still busy reading the document Soomin was showing him.
You shut your notebook slowly and looked at Soomin, who was also looking at you questioningly.
You were about to say okay when Soomin suddenly spoke up, “Hm? Why are you asking Y/n to take it out? Can’t you ask one of your own staff??”
Bomin placed the document in his hand down onto the table and smiled at his friend. “Come on Soomin, it’s just taking the trash out. Besides, she doesn’t have much task to do in your team.”
You felt a pang of hurt when he mentioned that. But it was true, ever since you entered the team, you haven’t received any serious tasks to be done. Everyone else had their own specific roles in the team and to be honest, you felt a little out of place knowing that your tasks were mostly small errands like printing and sending the documents out throughout the week.
“Well, y/n helped us a lot too!” Soomin defended you.
Bomin grinned at her, “Aw come on, don’t be too worked up about this. I know she’s new to your team anyways. I just wanted to—”
“It’s fine,” you interrupted the both of them.
Both Bomin and Soomin turned to look at you.
“I’m heading out anyways,” you smiled at them. “I’ll take the trash out and just head back home,”
Soomin glanced over at her watch. “Oh? Omg yeah, I almost forgot we finish work at noon on Fridays! Thanks for the reminder, y/n,” she winked at you.
You grinned at her and got up from your chair, packing up your stuff into your tote bag.
“Oh wait, Y/n!”
“Yes, Soomin?”
“You don’t want to have lunch with us before you leave?”
“Ahh,” you looked at her and the rest of your team in the room who were busy chatting with one another.
“It’s fine, I’ll just head home,” you said to her, giving her an apologetic smile.
“Sure, it’s fine,” she smiled back at you. “Take care, okay? I’ll see you on Monday?”
You nodded at her, “Yup, see you on Monday!”
With that, you picked up your bag and head towards the door of the meeting room. You picked up the trash bag from the bin beside the door and left the room.

You threw the trash bag into the larger bin at the end of the floor and entered the restroom to wash your hands for a while.
While you were drying your hands, you felt your phone buzzing from your bag.
Taking out your phone, you read the name on the screen. Chani. You answered the phonecall.
Phonecall conversation (Y/n and Chani):
Chani: Y/n! Where are you?? Really?? I went to the restroom for a while and you just left me like that??
Y/n: Oh my god Chani, don’t make me sound that bad.
Chani: Where are you?
Y/n: I took out the trash just now. I’m heading home now.
Chani: What? Why? Are you sick??
Y/n: Gosh, you need to chill. I’m fine, Chani haha. I finish work at noon on Fridays, just so you know.
Chani: So…does this mean I’ll be having lunch all alone today…
Y/n: (rolls eyes) Oh my god, you have other friends too. Remember what you told me? Everybody loves Chani.
Chani: (sighs) okay fine. I’ll see you next week then?
Y/n: Yup. Okay then, go and have lunch! Byee!
-End call-
You looked at yourself one last time in the mirror before leaving the restroom.

You were walking out of the restroom when you met Junghwan who was passing by.
Junghwan stopped walking when he saw you.
“Noona!” He greeted you cheerfully. He hurriedly approached you.
You smiled at him. “Junghwan.”
“Where are you going noona?”
“I’m about to head home. I get off work early on Fridays, remember?” you reminded him.
“Ahh, that’s right,” he scratched his head.
“Well, I’m going off now. It was nice seeing you. I need to make a quick stop at the convenience store out front too,” you said, referring to the convenience store you frequently visited which was opposite the YG Building itself.
You were about to walk away when Junghwan stopped you.
“Wait, noona!”
“Hm? What’s wrong, Junghwan?”
“Uhh, convenience store? W-we uh, have one here,” he started stuttering now that you were making direct eye contact with him.
You looked at him questioningly. “Ohh…Okay?”
“I mean—” Junghwan looked around. “Okay, come with me,” he grabbed your hand and pulled you along with him.
“Whoa, wait, slow down Junghwan!” you said, trying to keep up with his steps.

(GS25 Mart / YGE Building)
“Hyung, you’re getting that buttercream bread again today?” Haruto asked Jeongwoo who was at the bread aisle.
“Yup, it’s surprisingly good. You want one?” Jeongwoo asked him back.
Haruto turned to look at Jeongwoo before nodding at his hyung. “Sure,”
Haruto stood at the drinks aisle, still thinking of what drink to buy for lunch today. His hand reached out to his usual pick, cola, but then he moved his hand slightly to the grape juice on his left.
“Oh? That’s unusual.” A voice startled him. Haruto turned to look at the voice that surprised him.
Junkyu blinked curiously at him.
“W-what is it, hyung? Why are you staring at me like that?”
“Nothing, it’s just that, you’re getting grape juice??” Junkyu asked in disbelief.
“Whoa! What did you say?” Jeongwoo’s head popped up from behind the shelf near them.
Haruto blushed, “What?? I was just looking at it! I wasn’t really going to buy it!” he said, defending himself.
Junkyu lets out a laugh at his friend. “I was just kidding—”
“Here, here! Isn’t it cool?!” Junghwan’s excited voice boomed throughout the store in all of a sudden.
“Yah, So Junghwan, what are you being so loud for—” Jeongwoo stopped when he saw you and Junghwan outside the store. “Oh? Hey!” Jeongwoo hurriedly ran towards the both of you.
You nod and smiled at Jeongwoo as you saw him approaching you.
“What are you doing here, y/n? You here to buy some lunch?” Jeongwoo asked you.
“Ahh, I was actually heading towards the convenience store outside…” you said.
“Oh?” Jeongwoo said, surprised that you were here instead. Then he saw how Junghwan’s hand was still holding onto your arm.
Jeongwoo raised an eyebrow at the both of you. “So…Junghwan brought you here?”
You smiled apologetically and nodded at him.
Junghwan immediately lets go of your arm, “H-hey, I was just bringing her here since we have a convenience store here too!”
“Uh huh, sure,” he smirked at the maknae.
Your eyes looked around the outer part of the store and you felt amazed now that you were standing right in front of it.
“Wait, this store!” You ran to the front and pointed at the signage of the store.
“It’s the same store from that K-Drama, right?!” You fangirled excitedly.
Junghwan and Jeongwoo looked at you confusedly.
“Which drama, noona?”
“That oneeeee. The one with that Ji Chang Wook guy!”
Junghwan scratched the back of his head. “Maybe I should ask Yoshi-hyung if he knows that one, I haven’t watched many dramas,”
You took out your phone and posed for a selca with the smaller sign on the entrance of the store.
Jeongwoo shook his head at you. He turned to the maknae beside him, “You getting anything here?”
Junghwan blinked a couple times before patting his pockets. His face showed as if he just realised something and he turned back to his hyung, face in shock.
“What? What’s wrong?”
“Hyung…I left my wallet in the practice room…”
“Aish, don’t worry about that! I can pay for you too,” Jeongwoo said as he ruffled the maknae’s hair.
Junghwan grinned at his hyung. “Okay! I have a few things I want!”
“Hey, hey, I said I could pay, I don’t mean I’m buying you the whole store Junghwan-aa” Jeongwoo laughed.
Suddenly, another familiar voice called out to the both of the maknaes as they were about to enter the store again.
“Hey guys!”
Both of them turned around to see…
Chani skipping cheerfully towards them. He waved at them once he noticed they were looking at him.
“Hyung! Hi! What brings you here?” Jeongwoo greeted him.
Chani smiled at them, stopping right in front of both the maknaes. “I’m on my way to lunch, but I wasn’t in the mood to eat anything from the cafeteria,” he told them.
“Ahh. Oh? Are you going to have lunch at the balcony again today, hyung?” Jeongwoo asked since he knew how Chani was always having lunch with you at the balcony.
Chani shook his head, “Nah, y/n went home already. She told me she only works half-day on Fridays so,”
Junghwan and Jeongwoo looked at each other.
“So, you both buying lunch here too?” Chani asked.
“Uh, yeah,” Jeongwoo answered.
“Ah, you guys eating in the cafeteria today?”
“Oh, no. We need to catch up with practice so Hyunsuk and Jihoon hyung told us to just grab something and eat in the practice room,”
“Ahh, I see. Well,” Chani shrugged. “I wish y/n was here though. I don’t think I’ve brought her to this store yet. Oh well. Let’s go inside and buy some food together!” Chani said happily to the both of them.
Suddenly, Junghwan felt panicked. Instead of following Chani whom was heading towards the store, Junghwan immediately yelled, “OH? NOONA!”
Hearing this, Chani and Jeongwoo immediately turned around to look at Junghwan.
“S-sorry, I thought I saw Y/n-noona up there just now,”
“Oh? That’s impossible, she told me she was heading home just now,” Chani said as he took out his phone from his pocket.
Jeongwoo looked at his dongsaeng, confused as to what Junghwan was doing.
“She’s not answering her phone,” Chani sighed after he failed to call you. “She must’ve put it on silent again,”
“M-maybe,”
“Well, I’ll get going. See you all next time!” Chani said as he was about to leave the both of them.
“Hyung! You’re not buying food here?” Jeongwoo pointed at the store.
“Nah, I want to go check if y/n is up there. I’m gonna give her an earful of nagging for leaving without saying goodbye to me,” he complained. With that he waved goodbye at the maknaes and ran off towards the escalators heading up.
Jeongwoo shook his head and clicked his tongue, “Tsk tsk Junghwan-aa. Look at you,” he smirked at the maknae.
“I panicked! I’m sorry,” he said, meaning it too. “When he said y/n-noona went home, the only thought that crossed my head was that if he saw noona in the store, he might have dragged noona out to have lunch with him,”
Jeongwoo nodded, understanding why Junghwan did what he did.
“I mean, he gets to work with y/n-noona every day, he has lunch with her every day, and well, since noona is here today, I figured it’s only fair if I wanted to make sure we were the ones that get to have lunch with her this time,” he continued.
“Aigoo, you don’t have to get emotional about this,” Jeongwoo ruffled the kid’s hair. “I understand,” he said softly.
“Let’s get inside and grab lunch so that we can head back to the practice room soon, okay?” Jeongwoo added as he wraps an arm around Junghwan’s shoulder.

After taking selcas at the front entrance of the convenience store, you excitedly entered the store and started scanning through the shelves to see the types of snacks and food sold there.
Now, because you were quick enough to enter the store without the maknaes realising it, you had no idea about what went on outside the store when Chani and the maknaes met.
Oblivious and excited about being in the store, you didn’t realise there was another guy on the same aisle as you until he walked up towards you.
“Y/n!”
You turned to look and realised it was none other than Haruto, holding a bottle of grape juice in his hand.
“Hi Haruto!” You smiled at him.
“What are you doing here alone?”
“Junghwan brought me here,” you grinned. “I just got off work and we bumped into each other in the hallways. I was actually on my way to the convenience store outside, but your little brother out there brought me here instead,”
Haruto chuckled at your explanation. “Makes sense of him to bring you here. This store is good too. They sell good stuff here,”
You looked around you. “I can agree to that.”
“So, what are you getting?”
You eyed the grape juice in his hand. “I might get one of that,” you pointed at it, making Haruto blush when he noticed you wanting to get the same drink as him.
“And a ramen cup I guess?” You added. “It’s Friday anyways,”
Haruto nodded at you even though he had no idea how Fridays and ramen cups are related to one another.
You hurried towards the shelf that were filled with different types of cup and bowl noodles. You eyed every single one of them and picked up a few, wanting to read them closely since there were a few that you’ve never seen before.
“What kind of ramen do you like, y/n?” Haruto’s voice appeared again beside you.
You put back some of the cup noodles onto the shelf, leaving one in your hand.
“I like the ones that are not too spicy? Something with a broth or soupy too,” you answered him, your eyes still scanning the shelf.
You knelt down to look at the lower shelf and Haruto knelt down along with you, wanting to see what you were looking at.
You grabbed another ramen bowl from the bottom shelf and held it in your hands along with the one you had earlier.
“Which one is better, Ruto?” You turned to look at him.
“Hm? What do you mean?”
“Among these two kimchi ramen bowls. Which is better?”
Haruto looked at the bowls in your hands. He pointed at the one in your left hand. “This one has a nice sour kick to it, if you like the plain kimchi flavour,”
You nodded at his choice. “Okay, thank you for your suggestion,” you smiled.
You put back the noodle bowl that Haruto chose and decided to choose the one you picked from the top shelf earlier.
As you stood up, Haruto said, “Hey! What’s the point of you asking if you’re not gonna choose my pick?”
“Ah,” You looked at him, your chin slightly raising since you had to raise your head slightly to meet his eyes.
“I wanted to try this one instead,” you said as you showed the bowl in your hand again.
“But! That grape juice you’re holding looks good! Is it nice?” You asked, noticing he was confused with what you did earlier.
Haruto looked at the drink in his hand and then he looked at you who was eagerly waiting for his answer. “It’s actually my first time trying it,” he said, a little shy with his confession.
“Cool! I trust your taste, so I’ll get one too,” you said cheerfully.
Haruto smiled at you as he hears your praise on his taste.
“Ruto-yaa where are you? Help me here!” Another voice said on the other side of the shelves you and Haruto were standing at.
“I’m still here, hyung! What happened there?” Haruto answered as he walked towards the direction of the voice.
You followed behind him and saw Junkyu standing in front of the chiller, his hands on the handle.
“How did you open this chiller door? I’ve been trying for the past 5 minutes and it won’t open,” he whined, not noticing Haruto and you were directly behind him by now.
“Agh! Aigoo, this door!” Junkyu complained as he lets go of the handle.
“Aigoo hyung, it was fine before, how did it get stuck now?” Haruto asked him. He hands over his drink to Junkyu, asking him to move aside so that he could try pulling the door open this time.
You watched as the two guys in front of you struggle to open the chiller door.
“Uh, do you guys need help?” You asked, making Junkyu jump slightly, startled that you were there watching them the whole time.
“Y/n? When did you get here??”
“I…I’ve been here for a while now, I guess,”
Haruto smirked at you, “Pfft y/n, there’s no way you can open this. Even Junkyu-hyung struggled,”
“Heyy, I’ll have you know, I’m good at opening jar lids so, it’s probably the same, no?”
With that, you shoved your ramen bowl into Haruto’s hands and stepped up in front of the chiller door, with Junkyu beside you.
“Hyung? Y/n? You guys still here?” You heard Junghwan asking as both him and Jeongwoo stepped into the store after their moment with Chani earlier.
“We’re in the back here!” Haruto called out to them.
You huffed as you tugged on the door handle, one, two, you counted in your head.
Junkyu tilt his head slightly, feeling like it’s ridiculous to see you struggling to open the chiller door now.
“H-hey, let me try again. You might get hurt,” Junkyu said, his hand reaching to hold onto the handles again.
“No, I got this,” you said confidently.
Junkyu rolled his eyes and handed Haruto his drink back. He placed his hands slightly above yours, making it only 2cm close enough to touch your hands and he started pulling the handle as well.
“What’s going on here?” Jeongwoo said as he showed up behind you all.
“These both are competing to see who is stronger at opening that chiller door,” Haruto answered with a shrug.
“Hey, we’re not competing!” Junkyu said.
“Yeah, we just want to get this thing to open so I can get myself a grape juice too!” You added.
The both of you tugged harder this one time and as if luck was on your side, the door opened up.
But because the both of you had tugged too hard on the handle, the moment the door opened, Junkyu lost balance and lost his grip on the handles, making you the only person holding onto it as the door swings open quickly.
‘THUD’
“Whoa, did you guys hear that? What’s that loud noise?” Junghwan said, showing up behind Jeongwoo. His hand was holding onto a pack of gimbap.
Junghwan looked around and noticed that all of his hyungs’ eyes were on you, all looking shocked.
“What? What’s going on??” Junghwan asked again, not understanding what was going on.
“Y-y/n…a-are you okay?” Jeongwoo asked.
Haruto and Junkyu stayed silent, too shocked to even say anything.
You blinked a couple times, noticing your hands were still holding onto the chiller’s door handle. You also noticed a sharp pain on one side of your forehead.
That’s when you noticed that the edge of the chiller door was rested against your forehead. The part where your forehead was hurting.
You let go of the handle, making the door slowly closing back.
“Y/n?? Can you hear me??” Jeongwoo asked again, since you still hadn’t responded to him.
You felt your forehead sting in pain again, now that it’s exposed to the cold air in the store. You backed yourself against the side of the chiller, supporting yourself so you wouldn’t fall.
“It’s not bleeding, right?” You ask, your voice a little softer than usual.
Haruto, Jeongwoo and Junkyu all shook their heads, except for Junghwan who still didn’t know what happened.
You blinked a couple times again, making sure that you could still stand up straight.
“Well then, I guess everything’s okay then!” You tried your best to sound cheerful.
“You sure you okay?” Haruto asked this time.
You nodded several times, convincing them all that you were fine.
“I’m good! Now, get me a bottle of that grape juice too,” you said with a smile.

(YGE Building / Treasure’s Practice Room)
Half of the Treasure members were in the practice room when you entered with the gang that were with you from the convenience store earlier.
Hyunsuk, who was sitting beside Mashiho, tilted his head when he saw you entering.
“Oh? You guys are back…. with…who’s that?” he asked, not being able to recognise you.
You were wearing Junghwan’s cap which covered most of your face (you purposely pulled it down) especially since after the incident in the convenience store the boys said they could see a bump forming on your head. Not to mention, you were dressed casually too (casual Fridays; what your company call it), wearing a dark blue hoodie paired with black jeans and your sneakers.
You pushed the cap on your head a little to the back to reveal your face. “Hi! Your boys forced me to have lunch with you guys here,” you smiled as you said this.
“Y/n!” Hyunsuk stood up excitedly and went up to you, hugging you as soon as he reached where you stood.
“I’m not sure if me being here is legal, but yeah, I originally wanted to head back home after having some ramen at the store outside,” you explained.
Hyunsuk grinned happily, feeling glad that after not meeting you for days, he could finally see you again.
“Oh wait, if you’re here,” Hyunsuk looked over behind you and his other members who were with you. “Is Chani here too?” he asked, knowing that ever since your team started working in their building, Chani has been your companion every time and everywhere.
“Aish, hyung! Don’t mention his name here, he might really show up!” Junghwan said in a loud whisper to his hyung.
“Ahh, sorry sorry,” Hyunsuk apologised, understanding why his maknae said that. “Come here, y/n! Let’s sit with the rest!” He said as he pulled your hand to go to the center of the room where the rest were sitting at.
“Wow, the moment he sees Y/n he literally forgot about us,” Haruto chuckled. “It’s almost like we were never here,” he added, jokingly.
Jeongwoo laughed at this. “As usual, Hyunsuk-hyung gets easily attached to people he likes I guess,” with that, Jeongwoo left to go and sit with you and the rest of the members.
Junkyu rolled his eyes after hearing both of what his dongsaengs said.

“Ahh there they are!” Hyunsuk said as soon he sees Jihoon and Yoshi entering the practice room with a paper bag in their hands.
It had been only 15 minutes since you arrived in the practice room and while waiting for both of them, you had been chatting with Hyunsuk about your work.
You turned your head to look at the both who just arrived and smiled at them, letting them know that you notice them coming in too.
“Oh? Hello there, Y/n…with a cap? That’s a first!” Jihoon exclaimed when he sees you.
Yoshi bowed slightly at you and smiled as he greeted you.
All of them including you sat down on the floor, all in a scattered manner since the practice room was wide, unlike your cramped living room at home.
The one sitting nearby you were Hyunsuk, Yoshi and Junghwan.
Junghwan handed over your ramen bowl that you bought with him and the ones who were at the convenience store downstairs. You thanked him and tore the lid off.
“Oh? I forgot to get myself some hot water,” you said.
“Aish, noona. We got you covered,” Junghwan said to you. He got up and pulled out a flask of hot water from his bag, passing it to you once he sat back down.
“Wow, you bring hot water to practice every day?” You asked, impressed.
“Ah, Doyoung-hyung and I bring a flask each every day in case we’re too lazy to go get some from the cafeteria,”
“Huh, nice of you both,” you praised as you poured the hot water into your ramen bowl, covering it back with the lid once you’re done. You hand over Junghwan his flask back and thanked him.
You looked around you and see all of them eating their own food they bought, all immersed in their own thoughts, some talking to one another and laughing while eating.
You were waiting for your noodle to soften so you decided to tie up your hair into a low bun while waiting. Pulling your headband from your wrist, you tied up your hair into a messy low bun, struggling a little since the cap on your head was sort of making it hard for you to do so.
The cap on your head slipped forward, covering your eyes while you were tying your hair, and Hyunsuk noticed this.
“Aigoo, this cap is kinda big on you, no?” he said with a grin.
You smiled at him and finished up bunning up your hair.
Hyunsuk helped push the cap back to make sure you were able to at least look at your food and without realising it, he accidentally touched the bump on your forehead.
“Ah,” you winced softly. You backed your head away from Hyunsuk’s hand and held onto the cap, directly on the spot of your bump.
“Why, what’s wrong y/n?” Hyunsuk asked when he sees you looking uncomfortable.
“Oh nothing, nothing,” you tried to look away from him and ignored the sting on your forehead. Fixing the cap properly (enough for you to hide the bump and see your food in front of you), you grabbed your chopsticks and took off the lid of your noodle bowl.
You stirred your noodles and began eating it.
“Mmm, so good,” you said happily.
Hyunsuk smiled watching you eat beside him. He reached out his hand and pats your head, which earned another wince from you, since you felt the sting on your head intensify.
This time, your wince was loud enough for Junghwan to hear you. He turned around, a worried look on his face.
He set down his food onto the floor and scooted towards you. “Noona?”
You held onto the spot where your bump is hidden and you lowered your head, holding in the pain that was literally throbbing by now.
“Y/n?” Hyunsuk called out to you, worried as well now that he noticed Junghwan’s expression.
You blinked a couple times and took deep breaths to hold in the pain on your forehead.
You shook your head and forced a smile at the both of them. “I’m good, just a little sting in the head,”
“Really? You looked like you were very much in pain earlier,” Hyunsuk said, his frown visible on his face, not being able to shake his worry towards you. He clearly heard you wince not once, but twice.
You nodded profusely, you even grabbed your ramen bowl and started eating it back just so you could convince them not to worry about you.
“Noona…it still hurts, huh?” Junghwan said to you.
“Hm? What, what happened?” Hyunsuk asked him.
You chewed on your noodles, ignoring the both of them.
Seeing that you wouldn’t be honest with him, Junghwan pulled his cap off your head.
The sudden cold breeze hitting your forehead made you lift your head, your eyes meeting his.
Junghwan’s eyes widened though the moment he pulled his cap away from you.
“N-noona, your head…”
You pushed the stray strands of your hair away from your face, wondering why he looked so surprised at you. “What? What is it?”
Hyunsuk immediately pulled you to face him, “Oh my god! Y/n!” he exclaimed rather loudly.
Yoshi, who was beside you immediately put down his ipad that he was watching while eating and scrambled over to Hyunsuk’s side. “Oh my god, Y/n!” He said in shock as well.
You frowned at your friends. “What? Oh my god, what’s going on??”
“What’s going on over there?” You heard Jihoon’s voice asking from the other side of the room.
You turned your head to look at him and immediately everyone else on his side gasped out loud.
“Y-yah! Y/n! What happened to your head?!” He screamed in shock.
“What is it?? Is my head bleeding??” you asked back, your eyes tearing up.
You tried to touch the bump on your head but the moment your fingers grazed against it you felt a sharp pain, “Ouch,” You clenched your fist to hold yourself from screaming.
“No, don’t touch it, noona!” Junghwan said as he grabbed your hand.
“It’s bad…” Haruto breathed out as he stared at you.
“What happened to Y/n??” Jihoon asked again, this time, his voice a little louder.
“N-noona hit her head against the edge of the chiller door downstairs…” Junghwan stammered.
“What?!” Hyunsuk said, louder this time too.
“Guys omg, it’s just a small bump, let’s not make a big deal about it” you said.
“No, no, Y/n. It’s not a small bump like the one we saw earlier…” Jeongwoo explained to you.
You furrowed your eyebrows. “What? Then it’s a big bump??”
SNAP! The sound of a camera clicked. Everyone turned to see Asahi holding up his phone.
He walked up towards you and showed a picture of you, a frown on your face—and there it was, on your forehead—the small bump you remembered from before had grown bluish-black, making it seem like your forehead was rotting.
“OH MY GOD!” You screamed. “WHAT THE HELL IS THAT??”
“That’s…your forehead, y/n,” Asahi stated matter-of-factly.
Your eyes were tearing up. “Why is the colour so dark??”
“You must have hit your head so hard…” Hyunsuk said.
“Yah! What are you all doing just standing there?? Get something cold to calm the bruise on her head!” Jihoon said.
Yoshi hurriedly grabbed his cold canned drink that he hasn’t opened yet. Without thinking much, he immediately pressed it against your bruise, making you wince in pain because of the sudden contact against your throbbing head.
“Hyung! Don’t do it like that! Do it slowly!” Yedam called out to him.
At this rate, the whole group was gathering around you, worried looks on their faces as they watched Yoshi calming your bruise, trying to make it no longer swell whereas Hyunsuk and Junghwan kept calming you down every time they see your face showing any discomfort.
“Shh shh, it’s okay, it’ll be less bruised later, okay?” Hyunsuk whispered to you as he stroked your head.
“Noona, it’s okay, it’ll be less painful later,” Junghwan said as well, his hands holding yours.
Junkyu watched as everyone was focusing on you now, even himself too. He felt slightly guilty for not being able to contribute anything to make you feel better, so he just sat and watched over you with the others.

(Evening / Dorm 1 – Hyunsuk, Yoshi, Junkyu, Haruto)
“I’m home!” Haruto called out as he entered their house even though there was nobody at home.
“Welcome home!” Yoshi replied, as he entered the main door beside his dongsaeng.
Haruto giggled at this and moved to the side to let everyone else enter as he bowed down to take off his shoes.
“Aaahhh home sweet home!” Haruto chanted as he raced towards the living room, jumping onto the sofa, letting his body rest after a good amount of dance practice with his group today.
“Aigoo Ruto-yaa, you better go wash up first before you fall asleep on the sofa,” Junkyu nagged at him when he passed by the living room.
“Yeah, yeah, don’t worry, I’ll shower up in a bit”
Hyunsuk entered the living room, his face clearly distracted.
“Hyung, everything alright?” Yoshi asked when he saw Hyunsuk’s expression.
“I don’t know…I just feel so worried about Y/n.”
“Ahh hyung, don’t worry too much. Her bruise wasn’t as dark as before too, and she said she was fine too when she left us after lunch. She was even smiling too,”
Hyunsuk shook his head. “How did she even hurt herself like that? She’s only worked in our building for a week and she already got herself into an accident like that. Imagine working there for a month, what else would happen to her?”
Yoshi walked up towards his hyung and pats his back. “Don’t worry, hyung. Y/n wouldn’t like it if we worry about her like this too,”
Haruto, who was listening to the whole conversation, scooted himself to sit up properly on the sofa. “Hyung-ah, do you think she’s doing okay right now? I mean, I feel like y/n might be the kind of person who wouldn’t be entirely honest if she’s feeling pain…Even when she got hit by the chiller door, she laughed it off and said she was fine. She even hid the fact that she was hurt by the bruise to the point when we found out it was already black and swollen badly,”
Hyunsuk nodded, understanding what Haruto was trying to say.
Suddenly, an idea came up to his head. “Do you guys want to have dinner with y/n? We can order takeout and watch a movie at her place. At the same time we can watch over her bruise too,” Hyunsuk said to his dongsaengs.
Yoshi and Haruto exchanged looks with one another. They knew that Hyunsuk was worried about you, because he really cares about you, but they weren’t too sure if bothering you tonight would be a good idea.
“Or, hyung, we could just invite her over for lunch tomorrow? She might want to rest up tonight,” Yoshi suggested.
“Oh? But y/n has never been to our place. Will that be okay, though?” Haruto asked.
“I don’t see why it wouldn’t be okay, as long as everyone in this dorm consents to it, it should be okay, no?”
Hyunsuk nods his head at this idea. His eyes glanced over at Junkyu’s room.
“Junkyu-aa! Junkyu, come over here!” he called out.
Junkyu walked out of his room, his hair slightly dishevelled, obviously he was laying down in bed earlier. “Yes, hyung?”
“We’re having lunch with y/n tomorrow, you cool with that?”
Junkyu shrugged, not understanding why Hyunsuk has to ask him. He would’ve just followed the rest of them without any complaints.
“Okay, I guess.”
“Okay, good. I’ll bring her over here tomorrow,” Hyunsuk said happily. Yoshi and Haruto too, smiled at their plan for tomorrow.
Junkyu was about to leave for his room back when he processed what Hyunsuk said earlier.
His eyes widened and he turned around to look at his dormmates again, “Wait, what?? You’re bringing Y/n over to our dorm??”

I mean, once Gold Class had their name and look, it was obvious they were winning these titles. Almost seems a bit facetious now to have had that tournament a few weeks back, but I am not a pro wrestling booker. Takumi Hayakawa is still Minorita, and accompanied the unit to the ring. It’s also pretty obvious that KAI will retain at tomorrow’s show, given Big Boss Shimizu now has another direct win before the title match. Takuma Fujiwara showed out on this show, showing heavy young Jun Akiyama vibes in his title challenge against Dragon Dia. He and Ryu Fuda are gonna be good ones, just wait.
Z-Brats were in a good spot on this show. Gurukun Mask and Churaumi Saver (I thought it was Sabre but apparently it is Saver) from Ryukyu Dragon appeared today too. Gurukun Mask & YAMATO fell to Jun Kasai & Takashi Sasaki at the RDPW show in Shinjuku on Friday. However, Kzy & U-T did win the Twin Ryuo Tag Team titles from Churaumi Saver & Minoru Fujita, becoming the 4th champions of those titles. NOAH’s Kendo Kashin was also on that show, beating Hibiscus Mii.

I’ve not had a chance to watch any of this show, so no idea who if anyone challenged KAI to be the next defense. D’Courage did retain their belts, however Yosuke got some measure of revenge over the two members of Z-Brats who usurped Eita’s position in R.E.D., so maybe that will take this Eita/Yosuke thing somewhere. Kota Minoura continues to be the one who wins for Gold Class, and I can’t help thinking there is a storyline thing here somewhere; Minorita was there as well this time too. Ben-K v. Jason Lee ended due to Z-Brats interference, leading into this 3-way match for I guess the rights to Jason Lee’s unit membership? I don’t know, seems a bit goofy.
The next show is on Saturday, a house show from Okayama. Eita has a title match challenge in NOAH next weekend, as does Masaaki Mochizuki, so I wouldn’t expect them on the Sunday 3/13/2022 show at least. The next livestreamed event is on 3/19/2022 from Kyoto KBS Hall, and the next one after that is not until 4/7/2022 from Tokyo Korakuen Hall, the retirement match for K-Ness.

Tokyo Joshi ran their final prelude show on Saturday before Grand Princess ’22 on 3/19/2022 from Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan. It was announced that Hidekazu “Kero” Tanaka, the former NJPW ring announcer who was just at the 50th Anniversary Show on Tuesday, will be at that event; apparently he just had a brink-of-death recovery from COVID-19 recently, so glad to hear he is OK from that!

The trip usually takes an hour and a half, if Google Maps is to be believed. 32 fans will be aboard this train as well.

Pro Wrestling ZERO1 ran today in Tokyo Korakuen Hall billed as “Shinjiro Otani Debut 30th Anniversary Year – ZERO1 21st Anniversary Launch.” ZERO1, founded by Shinya Hashimoto & Shinjiro Otani, did run their first show on 3/2/2001 from Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan, the main event of which had NOAH’s Mitsuharu Misawa & Jun Akiyama beating Shinya Hashimoto & Yuji Nagata. The debut show was a Who’s Who of Japanese wrestling at the time. In today’s ZERO1, NOAH’s Takashi Sugiura is their World Heavyweight Champion, and remains so, having beaten Takuya Sugawara today. Post-main, none other than Shinjiro Otani challenged Sugiura for that title. There was also a title change, as Junya Matsunaga & Takafumi beat Gajo & Tomohiko Hashimoto for the NWA Intercontinental Tag Team Championship. Masato Tanaka also beat the Big Tank Yoshiki Inamura. If you want to see this one, it was shown on Wrestle Universe, so have at it.
Speaking of the Hashimoto family and title changes, Big Japan also have new tag team champions, as Okami (Daichi Hashimoto & Hideyoshi Kamitani) beat Strong BJ (Daisuke Sekimoto & Yuji OKabayashi) in the main event of their Korakuen Hall show today. That will be on Samurai! TV soon enough. That does actually sound like a good main event. I still think BJW has done wrong by Kamitani (and maybe Hashimoto) over the years, but to their credit, they’ve stuck by BJW regardless.
Osaka Pro held a Pre-Launch Battle card, before their relaunch, earlier today in Osaka, oddly enough. The main event had Black Buffalo, Kazuaki Mihara & Quiet Storm beating Ares, Billy Ken Kid & Zeus. Some of the other Osaka Pro standbys of old including Tsubasa, Ebessan, Kuishinbo Kamen and Tigers Mask were on the show too.
Other promotions that ran this weekend include 2AW, 666, Ice Ribbon, Diana, HEAT UP, Michinoku Pro, PURE-J, Marvelous, ChocoPro, as well as some one-off shows.

Tag Fact #3 - I’ve come to realize I’ve always been a fan artist more than I thought. so here is a timeline of influences that shaped my childhood to now. from nostalgic times, to sad changes, to great loss, to strange rises to fame and phases, to stepping stones and finally a laughing place. all the things that make up your favorite fan artist Tag.
1. Rayman (bumped into this in the year of 1999) was actually the first fandom (with crossovers) I bumped into when I was 9. although the internet wasn’t available at the time it was still fun to dwell in home amusements. I remember the storylines and the OC’s I made but they’re kind of embarrassing and it’s probably a good thing there was no internet. I’ve done fanart and comic crossovers of Rayman with Calvin and Hobbs and Nights Into Dreams, spinoffs of Sonic the Hedgehog OC’s, Yoshi with Pikachu, and the Pokemon/Digimon craze with OC’s and other Nintendo comic shorts. but the drawings and comics are long gone and disappeared in the garage in a backpack due to suspecting my sister’s dad accidentally throwing them away. years later towards the year 2018 (now 28), we decided to move to North Carolina and it was my chance to find them again. unfortunately the backpack was gone just like I suspected (my main stuff), but for some reason I found my Pokemon/Digimon fanart, a good batch of Super Mario drawings (vaguely remember doing these), my sister’s drawings and some other neighborhood kids’ drawings in a dirty box. I was partially happy I found something at least but it was the backpack I wanted the most. sometimes I regret not looking for the backpack (’cause I was too busy being a kid) but it’s alright, noone needs to see that shit anyway, ha ha. anyways, I recall being a fan of Rayman from 1999 ‘til 2002.
2. Sonic Adventure 2 Battle (bumped into this in the year of 2003) my second fandom I bumped into when I was 12 going on 13. at the time, my sister and I both liked the Sonic The Hedgehog Franchise based on the Battle remake and ended up making our own secret fanart club that consisted of only us two members. she liked Sonic (and that was her boyfriend, ha ha) and I liked Knuckles (and he was my boyfriend, ha ha) and we were crazy in love about Shadow’s backstory. we listened to the game’s soundtracks as we drew fanart and comics after school and man, those were good times. however, as we grew older towards the year of 2005, we ended up having separate rooms and I believe it played a part in disconnecting on the same interest. then one day, I asked her why she wasn’t into Sonic anymore and she replied, “Because I grew up.” I was sad after that and slowly observed that she was influenced by the emo culture and the new friends she’s made. I was the only member of our little club for a little longer...but eventually I moved on too. I still have some surviving fanart we did together but it doesn’t mean shit anymore since she turned out to be an abusive mother from the last I’ve heard of her.
3. Gorillaz (bumped into this in the year of 2006). as the Sonic years were at its end, I first heard the song “Feel Good Inc” on Music Choice and seeing the first image of them as displayed on this post (except the fan-made background doesn’t count since I can’t find the original artwork). this was my third fandom and later had proper access to the internet to the website I still currently use called DeviantArt. at first I liked 2D but eventually fell for Murdoc and developed a spiritual connection towards the character as obviously seen in my old fanart and rare photos of my devotion shrines on Valentine’s Day and his birthday every year. for the longest time since being a permanent fan from 2006-2017 (11 1/2 years) I had no knowledge that it was a political propaganda band and other realizations I don’t want to talk about. I only followed them because it was a cartoon and not the bullshit behind the musical project. the world I’ve built and support for them for all those 11 1/2 years shattered the fuck out of me and I just wanted to be left alone to find myself again, somehow. activity stopped on all my profiles, the flow of fanart stopped since I now cringe from the fan service and felt I was used for my talent. I didn’t want to be reminded of it all so I took down all my Gorillaz fanart and archived them for old followers’ nostalgia but also in the hopes they’ll be forgotten in my timeline. I ceased to exist in the fandom for huge personal reasons but it’s best to not say why. I know for sure that the fandom wonders what happened but it’s none of their business. THE END.
4. Waluigi (although I knew he’s been around since 2000 during childhood, I took deep interest once I revisited the character again in the year of December 2013). as silly as this sounds, when I revisited him again, the character was so bizarre that I ended up staying up 3 nights and 3 days in a row just looking all over the internet on everything about him and the questionable “hush-hush” absence of a backstory. despite there being no backstory he slowly gained a cult following and in many ways it’s a good thing. however, since the early 2010′s tension has been building up between Nintendo and its fans about him starring in a main game but everyone hasn’t fully gotten it in their heads that it’s not gonna happen. as long as Nintendo is in control of that, the fandom will not win, I’m sorry to say. on the other hand, if it’s going to be this way, then that’s what fanart and comic projects are for. as for me, I am doing my very best to get my comic project “Waluigi Land” going. again, I apologize if it’s taking very long to get Chapter 2 going if you’ve been keeping track but aha moments need to develop before I start permanent drawing (since concepts, character design and storyline needed improvement badly). as of right now I am still a Waluigi fan and I will not quit on him.
5. Turbo from Wreck-It-Ralph (although it debuted in 2012, I watched the movie two years later into the year 2014). for some bizarro reason, I had an unhealthy obsession with this character to the point where I dressed up as him for Halloween 2014. only 2 fanarts of him and the Turbo Twins exist on my profiles, mainly because my mind was more focused on just ‘thinking about him’ or ‘being him’ rather than drawing physical drawings. luckily, this supposed alleged fandom didn’t last long a little after Halloween so I chalk it up as a very short phase. to this day I don’t know what has gotten over me about him. the only thing I can think of now is that I think it’s because the character had yellow eyes and teeth but I don’t know. now that I think of it, that little fucker was ugly as hell and I STILL don’t know what had gotten over me. one day, my brother mentioned what that was about, and I said to him, “I don’t wanna talk about it.”
6. Undertale (although it debuted in 2015, I later took interest in it in 2016). It was all about Sans and Papyrus. I couldn’t get enough of the skeleton bros. eventually Toriel and Mettaton EX became my favorites but it took a long time to draw more of all 4 of them because I had other important things to do in my life plus I was still waiting for the next Gorillaz album to revive my imaginative juices (or so I thought). I really want to have this as one of my frequent fandoms but I just don’t have time for it anymore. it’s still in the back of my head to want to draw them but at this point I still have other better interests to be in. and besides, I’m lazy just like Sans.
7. Cuphead (June 28th, 2017 was the official day I called quits on the British-based band Gorillaz due to the bullshit behind it. since that date I was lost, had no inspiration to look forward to and no cartoon guy to make me smile...but lo and behold of the same year, I took an interest in playing the game Cuphead and man...that shit was a frightening exaggerated metaphor for being on that one drug (forgot the name though) and having sex at the same time but man that was the best fun I’ve had in years. I mean, it’s like, enemies are just so happy to murder you and that scared the shit outta me. and the facial exaggeration?....I think I should stop, ha ha. anyways, the Moldenhauers saved my ass from spiraling down, they have no clue. anyways, eventually I became a permanent fan of their work so to ease the hurt and erase my past from the G-fandom I had to re-wire my brain into a different cartoon category that’s a rather more American, so anything Toon related like Roger Rabbit, Felix the Cat or another favorite that’s a western-based cartoon makes me feel better, especially my new man .......King Dice <3 <3<3<3. however, there was something about this new fandom category I still didn’t quite understand until the date March 14th, 2020. I finally understood what it was but I feel I shouldn’t bring it up. anyways, Cuphead and anything western or rubber hose is my last stop in inspiration for the remaining years of my life. many say never say never but I believe I’ve found my laughing place and that’s all that matters.

G1 Climax Night 3 preview
Tetsuya Naito vs. Hirooki Goto - This is a C Block match for two points. Naito won the G1 Climax in 2013 and 2017. Goto hasn't won since 2008, and he hasn't reached the finals since 2016.
Over the years, Naito has seemed particularly snarky about Goto's lack of success in the tournament, perhaps because Goto hasn't been able to beat him one-on-one in over six years. This year, Naito may have less to crow about, considering he had to withdraw from the 2021 G1 due to an injury. So for once, Naito may have more to prove than Goto.
I'm not expecting much from this match because Naito is such a heavy favorite to win, and Goto is such a nothing these days. However, New Japan is really into having a heavy favorite lose his first block match, to shake up expectations and give somebody a big upset. A Goto win would make it seem like he actually has a chance to win the block, and call into question whether Naito is past his peak. Unfortunately for Goto, that's the only reason I think he could win, and it's not much. Naito remains the safe pick.
Lance Archer vs. Bad Luck Fale - 2 points in A Block are on the line. This should be a good ol' fashioned MEAN GUY MATCH~! with two big dudes shoving each other around and doing power spots. Western fans might not be too impressed, since Archer and Fale wouldn't seem all that big in the WWE roster. But in New Japan these guys might as well be King Kong and Godzilla. This should be fun, but I also suspect it'll be remarkably brief.
I have to keep reminding myself that these two have clashed before (they're 1-1 in singles action), since Archer used to be an NJPW regular up until a couple of years ago. This is Lance's first singles match on Japanese soil since January 2020, and in light of that I think he needs to get the win.
Tama Tonga vs. Chase Owens - This is for 2 points in B Block. Tama is still stinging from being ousted from Bullet Club earlier this year. Chase is a Bullet Club guy, but he's like the twelfth most important guy in the group, so he's probably not high on Tama's hitlist. Even so, I bet Tama will enjoy beating the shit out of Chase. Owens has scored bigger upsets in the G1 than this would be, but I don't think this is his night.
David Finlay vs. Yujiro Takahashi - These guys are in D Block fighting for 2 points. On any other New Japan tour these two would be booked like jobbers, but on this one tour they're going to try to sell the idea that they're "Grade 1" heavyweight wrestlers. I don't expect either of them to go far in the block, but one of them has to win here. Finlay just got back to Japan for the first time in over a year, so I'm thinking it's his time to shine.
Shingo Takagi & SANADA & BUSHI vs. Zack Sabre Jr. & Taichi & TAKA Michinoku - This match previews Sanada vs. Taichi on July 24. Shingo and Zack each have block matches on July 23. You could book either Taka or Bushi to lose here, but my gut says it'll be Taka.
Jay White & Juice Robinson & KENTA vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi & Tomohiro Ishii & Kosei Fujita - White and Ishii will face off on July 23. Tanahashi vs. Kenta is also scheduled, but not until August 14. Fujita is clearly the designated jobber in this one, so White's team should win.
Kazuchika Okada & YOSHI-HASHI vs. Toru Yano & Ryohei Oiwa - This is a preview of Okada vs. Yano on July 23. Okada-Yano matches are always fun, because you know Yano can't beat the top guy in the company but he almost makes you believe he can. This match should plant the first seed of that doubt, although Oiwa should be losing the fall.
Will Ospreay & Jeff Cobb & Great-O-Khan & Aaron Henare vs. EVIL & El Phantasmo & SHO & Dick Togo - This is a rematch from July 17, except with Phantasmo filling in for Yujiro. It's unusual for Evil's stable to team with a regular Bullet Club guy like ELP, but this does give Phantasmo a change to avenge his loss to Ospreay on July 16. But I'm pretty sure the United Empire will just beat Togo again.
Tom Lawlor & Royce Isaacs vs. JONAH & Bad Dude Tito - Lawlor and Jonah will face off in the A Block, but that won't be until July 30. I think this is the first time those two will touch in the ring, actually. I expect this to come down to Isaacs or Tito losing, so I guess I'll pick Tito to eat the pin.

🐷 Hyunsuk
"Should there be that much blood? You're not dying right," the face would actually be kinda cute if he didn't look so disturbed, but you reply anyways.
"Yes and it's the normal amount now will you please just bring me a towel?"
"You know what you seem like you have it all figured out I'll let you do what you have to do and then you just call me when you want cuddles," Hyunsuk is already speed walking out of the room before you have the chance to reply.
God he's an idiot you think.
He loves you but periods just make him to nervous
He will give you all the cuddles in the world
He will NOT buy you pads or tampons no matter how much you ask
He is terrible at dealing with the mood shifts
🐼 Jihoon
"Babe what size do you need?" Jihoon questions over the phone.
"I need Regular and the brand doesn't matter," you respond.
"Are you sure the brand can also be important. I don't want you to feel any discomfort love."
You coo at your boyfriend and reassure him that as long as he picks regular you are fine.
100% would make a midnight run for you
He has a heating pad ready as soon as you mention your period
Buys you chocolate and snacks when you ask
Has ibuprofen or Tylenol for you when the cramps get to much
He says it hurts to see you in pain and wishes he could take all the pain away
🐯 Yoshi
"Do you want a hug or maybe a massage or I don't know...do you want me to leave?" Yoshi questions pacing around the carpet in your room.
"No but can you please stop moving your’re giving me a headache," you say holding you head.
"Okay so I should stay?" He questions sitting down on the bed next to you.
You hum and he pulls you close, tucking your head into his neck while rubbing your head.
Confused yet really wants to help
He isn't sure if he should leave or stay while you have mood swings
Claimed he would be able to help you through your period because of his sister, but he was actually clueless
He instead just cuddles you through all your cramps and headaches
🐨 Junkyu
"Can we get ice cream on the way back," you whine pointing to a nearby Baskin Robbins.
Junkyu pauses and thinks for a moment, "I don't think we have time if we want to make it to the movie."
This doesn't sit well with you and the whiny face turns to one of sadness. You pout and slowly nod, "Okay. To the movies it is then."
Noticing your sudden shift in mood your boyfriend laughs in an attempt to lighten the mood, "Okay, we do have a few minutes to spare."
Doesn't want to but with a little push will do anything for you
He doesn't know much but is willing to learn
Doesn't want to make you upset so he just complies
He isn't a big cuddler but when your on the verge of tears from a strong cramp he turns to butter
🐹 Mashiho
"No, don't cry. I didn't mean to hurt you," Mashi says crouching down to be the same height with the couch.
You hold on the side of your stomach which he accidentally hit while trying to show you a new flip he learned.
"I didn't hit you in the stomach, why are you crying," he whines, voice becoming a little bit high pitched and it's cute.
"I get sore everywhere you fool,"
He looks a bit astonished at the new information, "Really?"
You look at him with a small glare but let up when you can still see the curiosity and remorse in his eyes, "Yes and now I need a pain reliever and a glass of water."
"I'm on it,"
He treats you like a piece of glass
All the information he knows about periods are from dramas and tv so he is really interested in learning
He doesn't want to make you cry or sad so he try to be the perfect boyfriend
When your having a bad cramp he talks in his cute voice and you smile (he considers this an victory)
🦁 Jaehyuk
"Say ahh," Jaehyuk says holding out the spoon ready to feed you a bite of bulgogi.
"You know I can feed myself right," You question back.
He pouts," I am aware, but you're already going through so much. Let me take care of you."
He looks so determined to help out so you end up letting him feed you through the rest of dinner. Even though you got a few stares from the other dinners around you.
"Let me take care you" he takes it to a new level
Anything that he can do for you he does
He makes sure your alarm is set and you're up in the morning
Makes sure you have extra tampons or pads in your purse
He also cares around a pill or two of ibuprofen
He made sure to do his research on periods to make the experience better for you
🤖 Asahi
"We should do something today," your boyfriend suggests.
You glance up from your phone, eyebrow already raised, "You want to go out."
"Sure why not. The sun is about to set and I know you want to go take pictures," Asahi replies. You smile already getting on a pair of slippers.
"To the roof we go!" You shout.

"The sky is so pretty look at that cloud," You exclaim, spinning around pointing at the pink and blue sky.
Ashai smiles at you. It's the first time this week he's seen you happy all week.

Your cramps aren't as bad this week but Asahi despite being nervous takes care of you
He does little things that make your life easier. Such as making food for you, washing the dishes, and bringing you a glass of water without you even asking
🦊 Yedam
"We should go to the park today," Yedam says over the phone. He can hear him shuffling with papers in the background, probably some lyrics or homework.
"I can't today. My period decided to attack me this morning. Maybe next weekend." You say.
"Ahh, well we could just stay in then." He suggested.
"No, I'll be fine, enjoy your free weekend and we can plan next weekend."
"Nope, I'm coming over and we are gonna eat Ramen and I'll sing you a song to sleep." He says.
"Okay, let's have a sleepover then."
Drops everything he is doing to be by your side
Sings you to sleep even over the phone if he has to
Sleepovers are a must for your relationship
You both love spending time together and when your cycle starts Yedam just holds you all night
He won't ask you about any of the details of your period but if he has to he'll will make you tea for your cramps
🐰 Doyoung
"Can we make a special stop?" You ask.
Doyoung looks at you confused, "For what?"
"I need to stop and get something you just wait here and I'll be right back."
Doyoung still looks puzzled but then it clicked, "Ah, you mean feminine stuff."
A shy smile makes its way onto your face, but you nod anyways.
"It's okay we can go together." He says, already making his way to the isle.
Is comfortable with periods to an extent
Knows what to do when you have cramps or are out of pads
May have asked his mom for advice but won't admit it
Cooks for you when your hungry
Is just the perfect boyfriend when your not feeling the best
🐏 Haruto
"It hurts. You don't understand it's painful," You groan holding your stomach.
"It can't be that painful come on."
"You know I love you but you're really clueless."
He sits down next to you, head in his hands," Okay, I know nothing about this at all. Tell me what I can do to make you feel better."
"Can you just hold me?" You ask.
"Of course. Anything to make you feel better." Haruto smiles.
"And order me pizza."
"Don't push it."
Doesn't really understand periods
He is willing to learn although he doesn't know anything
Decides to just be a good boyfriend and do whatever you ask
🐺 Jeongwoo
"Okay, I got you a chocolate chip cookie, popcorn, jelly, and orange juice and apple juice because I didn't know which one you would like. Oh and I also picked out a salad because all this sugar isn't good for you." Jeongwoo says placing all the food he picked up from the convenience store on the corner.
Chuckling you reach for the apple juice, "I didn't need all this food. All I asked for was a pack of gum."
"Yes, I know but what if you get hungry then you have more options."
"Awee, that's so cute," You coo standing up to give him a hug, "Thank you for thinking of me." Before you can give him a proper hug through he moves away.
"Sorry I love you but what if you bleed on me or something."
"Omg, really? Please tell me how I could bleed on you from giving you a hug," he opens his mouth about to respond but you put your hand up silencing him, "Don't answer that just make me my popcorn please."
Trying to be there for you
The overall fear takes over him though
Makes up any excuse to not touch you he's too afraid to make something worse
May have googled 'how to help your girlfriend through a period'

🐮 Junghwan
"Eww, no please just pick it up," Junghwan cringes pushing the pad away from him with the end of his pencil.
You laugh picking it up, "It's just a pad it won't kill you."
"How do you know that?! Anything could magically grow legs," he debates.
"I can't believe we are having this conversation right now," you say pushing the pad back into your book-bag.
You don't even get to talk about periods with Junghwan
He avoids the topic at all costs
The sight of a pad makes him feel weird
But when your having a bad cramp or just in a bad mood he will bring you a bag of jelly's or sweet bread (it makes you smile)
