History The ATMCM-IFK (Alpha Triton Mobile Core Medium - Infantry Fighting Kit) is a Mobile Core with a focus on Infantry Support. Majority of its systems have been cut down in comparison to the ATMCH-VCK, though it doesn't feature any thrusters at all due to its focus on infantry support. While the IFK isn't as heavily armored as the VCK, it still features lightweight composite armor and can equip ERA or NERA if needed for additional protection against HEAT munitions. The majority of its armor is designed to deal with HEAT munitions due to the threat of various anti-tank weapons and as a result it comes out far lighter than the VCK that was created before it. This is most noticeable in the legs, as disabling those gets rid of its mobility entirely. The IFK's design is also far cheaper to produce in comparison to the VCK due to the standardization of some equipment and technologies utilized in the Mobile Core Units. Like the VCK it technically can equip a multitude of weaponry to change its role, it also has a Datalink System which is important in order to quickly receive and transfer information with other ATMRRI equipment to increase combat effectiveness and overall survivability.

Năm nay, thể thức thi đấu có sự khác biệt, đó là 10 đội sẽ chia làm 2 bảng, mỗi bảng 5 đội, các đội sẽ thi đấu theo thể thức mới, gồm 2 trận sân nhà và 2 trận sân khách. Từ vòng bán kết, các cặp đấu sẽ chơi theo thể thức sân nhà-sân khách như quy định trước đây.

“Tôi thực sự không muốn nghĩ về khả năng đối đầu Hàn Quốc ngay sau khi làm HLV trưởng ĐT Việt Nam bởi HLV Kim Bong-gil của U23 Hàn Quốc là người đàn em thân thiết với tôi. Nhưng điều đó chẳng đảm bảo bất kỳ điều gì. Không phải cứ hiểu rõ đối thủ là bạn sẽ giành chiến thắng", HLV Park Hang Seo nói.

Tôi sẽ ngay lập tức tiến hành quá trình chuẩn bị cho U23 Việt Nam trước VCK”.

Vòng chung kết giải U23 châu Á 2018 tổ chức tại Trung Quốc, từ 6/1/1018 đến 27/1/2018. 16 đội tuyển sẽ được chia làm 4 bảng, hai đội đứng đầu bảng sẽ đoạt vé vào tứ kết.

Trước khi tham dự vòng chung kết U23 châu Á 2018, thầy trò HLV Park Hang Seo sẽ tham dự giải giao hữu quốc tế M150 tại Thái Lan từ 9 đến 15/12/2017. Giải đấu với sự góp mặt của 6 đội tham dự gồm U23 Việt Nam, U23 Myanmar, U23 Uzbekistan, U23 CHDCND Triều Tiên và chủ nhà U23 Thái Lan.

Đến vòng chung kết, Hoàng Xuân Vinh giành HCB với thành tích 236,6 điểm. Giành HCV là xạ thủ người Nhật Bản Matsuda Tomoyuki với 240,1 điểm còn giành HCĐ là xạ thủ của nước chủ nhà Rat Jitu với 216,7 điểm. Xạ thủ Trần Quốc Cường xếp hạng 6 với 155,8 điểm.
