Oooooooh drawing requests!!! What if, and hear me out because I know this is going to be radical /j, what if: Jmart, and they’re happy? There’s tea, there’s cat(s), there’s a rainbow and green fields and good cows. Eh????
[ID: A digital painting of Jon and Martin from TMA. They are shown from the waist up, from the back. Martin is fat, with long, tied-up ginger hair, white skin, and glasses. He wears a mustard cardigan, blue jeans, and a green scarf. Jon is taller and thin with brown skin, short, salt-and-pepper hair, and glasses. He wears a grey overcoat and muted red scarf. They are walking hand-in-hand through the countryside, along a gravel path, towards a house on a hill. On the patio of the house is a white cat and there is a brown highland cow some distance beyond. The sun is setting, and the sky’s orange and purple light is thrown onto Jon and Martin in the foreground. End ID.]
ok TECHNICALLY no rainbow but COLOURS and martin is definitely 100% holding a shopping bag with tea in it. he told me because i was the tape recorder

Wyll reciting fairy tales he knows by heart to the children in Reithwin, and making up new endings each time they revisit to see if they catch him and were paying attention.
Wyll entertaining the tiefling kiddos with big, showy tales of castles and monsters and dragons and knights, all with nameless heros so the children can put themselves in the adventure.
Wyll having whole stanzas of poetry memorized that he can recite at any time, and often does under breath as he walks or swings his rapier in rhythm to keep time (he doesn't count his waltz, he *speaks* it)
Wyll dropping his favourite quotes from plays in casual conversation (and making some up completely on the spot, but they're so dead on you wouldn't be able to tell).
Wyll who could have been a poet, a playwright, a storyteller. Who *is* all of these things, even if it's not at the forefront of his being.

I really appriciate how often Machete is depicted struggling and feeling like a burden, while still being loved and supported by Vasco. It gives the top tier angst of "i'm not good enough, I'm not worth it" but you frame it in such a way where it's clear that's just how he *feels* and is not how things really are, but also it's so nice to see someone who struggles quite often in a loving and unique relationship that suits them. The narrative of not being able to love or be loved unless you're consistently healthy is really tiring lol.

upon my rewatch of season 6 of BTVS I gotta be real here. say what you will abt Mayor Wilkins but he would NEVER have left his murder daughter to struggle alone with debts and a sister. he’d be like “sweetie you own real estate that people live in, why are you working a minimum wage job?.. come now I am going to teach you the most useful evil skill you’ll ever learn, it’s called Being a Landlord” and then pay all her bills and make her drink her milk bc calcium is important
