sungho is the perfect boyfriend you could ever ask for.

from his jaw-dropping looks to his heart-warming personality, he always made you smile and appreciate your relationship. but—

he has a habit, a very up-and-close habit. kissing. or as he sees it "showing his love to someone he loves" this is mainly nice as everyone likes physical touch from their significant other, but this time it's bad.

very bad.

hearts pounded as you locked lips with sungho, his plump lips glossed with a thin layer of spit as the two of you were making out. his slender fingers playing with the ends of your shirt. kissing was a very normal thing to do every day as you couldn't help but melt into a puddle every time sungho pouted at you. you disconnected with sungho and stared into his eyes, such loving and doting eyes that could make you fall in love with him all over again.

suddenly you feel his lips against your neck, giving you chast kisses down to your collarbone. "we have to go soon, sunggg.." you huffed out as you watched him continue to kiss you. "just give me a sec, wanna give you more kisses.."

his lips sucked down on your neck. you didn't mind this as you were in the moment.

soon after the kisses were done and you were ready to go to college that's when you realized what happened. "sungho. what did you do to my neck??" you froze, only looking at the mirror in front of you. "i didn't know it was gonna bruise up like that.." he was referring to a hickey on your neck.

park sungho just gave you a hickey... ! when you were about to campus.

"i'm dead. i'm fucking dead sungho." you muttered, surprisingly sungho caught what you said. "maybe just cover up? or maybe put makeup on it?.." he advised you, but you frowned. sungho's hands clasped onto yours as his eyes looked into yours, showing pure empathy and anxiousness. "y'know i didn't mean to do this to you, right? i'm sorry babe, i just got too into it." he apologized.

a sigh fell off your lips as you looked back at sungho. "it's fine, uhm, i can just wear a sweater." sungho nodded at your response, feeling bad about the hickey on your neck. "you better not feel bad right now sung, it's just a silly hickey. 'ts isn't gonna kill me!" you chuckle while zipping your sweater up.

sungho didn't say a word and placed his arms around your waist, pulling you into his embrace. "i'm just so sorry." he whispered into your ear. "i know you are, and it's okay!!" you reassured him.

your hands gently picked up your bags and headed straight to the door. "you better not be sad when i come back��sung!!" "i won't, okay?" you nodded to his response and opened the door.

"just so you know though —"

"you're on a kissing ban, till this thing goes away." sungho's eyes widened as you said that with a smile. "NOOOOO" sungho whined, a pout forming on his lips. "i might give you a kiss if you at least help get rid of the hickey." you giggled.

FISH ≠ HUMAN

“You don’t think that… fish antibiotics would work, would they?” You heard your boyfriend call out from the bathroom, shuffling through the cabinets for the medication that he swore he had. You wanted to laugh, but that would lead to another coughing fit and you really couldn’t handle that right now.

“I’m not a fish, Donghyun.” You mumbled quietly, closing your eyes again.

“What was it that you said you needed? Ibuprofen? I only have fish ciprofloxacin, though…” He muttered the last part quietly, taking one last onceover of the shelf before giving up. “I think I’ll have to go pick something up at the store. Do you need anything else? Anything I can do before I go?” He asked a little awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck.

It was clear that your boyfriend had no idea how to treat human sickness once it proved to be different than treating his fishes. He knew what to do if one of his corydoras had fallen ill— isolate the fish, clean the water regularly with antibiotics and methylene blue when needed, even apply some topical disinfectants when needed. But when it came to his girlfriend, he was almost clueless.

He knew the basics; making sure you got lots of sleep and drank water or tea. But he didn’t have any medication to give you or any other expertise in the area. You were lucky that Donghyun didn’t have a busy schedule for the next couple of days.

“Just get the ibuprofen… my head is killing me. Maybe some ginger tea? My nausea still hasn’t gone away.” You asked softly, and Donghyun nodded.

He crouched down, feeling your forehead again. He placed his other hand on his own forehead, trying to differentiate the two, but from his furrowed confused eyebrows, you were guessing he couldn’t tell. You pushed his hand away, urging him silently to go out to the store.

“Right, sorry.” He frowned. He kissed your forehead quickly before leaving, promising to be back with medication, tea, and anything else he could find at the store.

You sighed once you heard the front door close, your eyes drifting over to the fish tank in the room, watching the little creatures swim around in their seaweedy home. You smiled. You knew your boyfriend was trying his best, and you appreciated his willingness to get you what you needed. He cared about you just as much as he cared about his fish— but he still had a lot to learn about taking care of another human.

it was an afternoon like any other, hanging out with friends of yours, luring your boyfriend along for the ride. jaehyun's hand almost never left yours — but the drive home seemed much quieter than expected.

while trying to get some kind of reaction from him, you thought about everything you'd done today that could have lowered his mood. after joining the boys at the amusement park, you all spent the day having fun and running around to ride as many rides as possible. maybe it was because you hadn't shared your cotton candy with him? or because you didn't let him ride the ferris wheel at the end of the day? no, it all seemed far too trivial to make him sulk like that.

as you unlocked the door to your apartment, discarding your shoes and coat, you watched him out of the corner of your eye : he instantly moved to the sofa, scrolling through his cell phone without saying a word. a long sigh left your lips as you walked around the sofa to face him, and even if you wanted to slip into his arms, you felt it wasn't the right time for physical contact. turning on the television to take your mind off the whole thing, you let a sigh leave your lips, glancing repeatedly at your boyfriend.

his face, which was usually so luminous, seemed to be extinguished, as if a rain cloud were hovering over his head. where was his big smile hiding? biting your lip, thinking of some way to change his mood, you grabbed your phone,

then suddenly you realized.

was it because you'd done a whole attraction with dongmin instead of him, and because you'd been a tad clingy with each other? wasn't he just jealous?

it made sense, and would even be extremely likely. despite jaehyun's expressive face, you knew he didn't like to talk about this kind of topics because he found his reactions simply ridiculous. while you thought it was kind of cute.

so without thinking any further, you infiltrated his personal space, grabbing his phone ( which you lock and place further back on the sofa ) before coming to sit on jaehyun's laps, his questioning face raised towards yours. before he could object and stop you from doing anything, you leaned over to place a kiss on his cheek, before sliding your hands on his baby cheeks.

looking him straight in the eyes, you end up pulling up the corners of his mouth with your forefingers, drawing a slight smile on his face. « jealousy doesn’t suit you, » you say softly, causing a sigh to escape his lips, before you continue, « i like to see you smile more. »

with a keen eye, you could see the tips of his ears gently reddening. his hands finally moved and slid over your hips, putting pressure on your lower back to draw you against him. his face camouflaged itself in your neck, against which he placed a trail of kisses while murmuring a nonsensical apology. « don't apologize, you've done nothing wrong. » you reassured him, slipping your hand under his sweater to gently caress the skin of his hip in a comforting gesture.

a long sigh left jaehyun's mouth once more, and he nodded slightly, tightening his arms around you as if to prevent you from pulling away. « it's just.. you know.. » he began to explain, his voice settling on your skin in a muffled sigh, « seeing him so close to you made me jealous. »

« if it makes you feel any better, i too am sometimes jealous when i see someone a little too close to you, jaehyun. » you confessed, making him move slightly away from you, his eyes lost in yours for long seconds. then you placed a soft and warm kiss on the tip of his pretty nose, while slipping your arms around his neck, offering him the warmest of your smiles.

« i love only you, » you whispered between two stolen kisses, pecking at his lips under his watchful gaze, which seemed to see nothing but you, « myung jaehyun, i only love you. » you repeated, making the new kiss last a little longer.

his heart seemed soothed and reassured by your words — because he suddenly seemed so much more sure of himself than five seconds ago. closing his eyes to enjoy your exchange more fully, jaehyun's hand slipped into the back of your neck to hold your face in place, which drew a smile from you against his lips. but that didn't stop him from kissing you harder, more passionately, again and again, while murmuring some almost inaudible i love yous against your pretty mouth.

all bf!dongmin wants to do at the end of the day is crash at your place. some days after long practices, the other members aren’t even surprised when he doesn’t go home with them.

your head turns in the direction of your front door from your kitchen. you had been cutting an orange for yourself as a late night snack.

your face immediately softened when the tired boy dropped his bag and began to walk in your direction.

‘how was practice?’ you asked your boyfriend who was only inches away from you now. he dove his head straight into the crook of your neck, along with his arms circled around your waist. he answered with, ‘mmm, it was ok…jus’ wanna lay with you though…’

you giggled quietly, your hands weaving into his hair, scratching slightly at the nape.

‘c’mon, let’s go, love.’ you took his hands in your from around your waist and led him towards your bedroom. you sat down on the edge of your bed when dongmin came crashing down upon you, his pretty nose poking your collarbone.

quiet mumbles were heard coming from him. you could barely make out what he was saying. ‘what did you say, min…?’

his arms around your waist tightened as he spoke his next words. ‘i’m so happy you’re mine…’

dongmin’s sudden display of love for you caught you off guard, you had to admit. honestly, he was never one for pda or verbal affection.

your boyfriend showed his love for you by quiet little actions. a simple peck on the head or pinkies being interlaced was all you needed to know that he cared for you.

‘i’m pretty happy about that myself.’ you smiled while replying to him. you could feel his lips morphing into a simple against your skin.

‘my girl…she’s all mine…’ he propped himself up on his hands, now hovering over you with a comforting smile. your smile grows even wider as you say, ‘all yours, my love.’
