Batter, Zacharie and The Queen with a Tsundere Reader

Tsuntsuns are good! I've already written some White Hank and Skittles content for that on my other blog yesterday, so I knew I had to write for the scrungies today!

Batter

As he has never watched anime before, much less even knows what it is, he will simply think of you as a rather foul-mouthed Player, who likes to cuss him out for no apparent reason, all the while patching him up and feeding him an orange. Socially inept as he already is, he’ll have no clue whatsoever what to actually think, or rather, how you think. Do you like him? Do you hate him? Still, he won’t waste too much time with his broken heart and simply moves on, focusing on his mission and keeping you safe instead.

It’s not until Zacharie gets a good chuckle out of the situation and having the merchant explain everything to Batter that things clear up ever so slightly. He still doesn’t understand why you’re acting the way you are, but at least he is more confident that his beloved Player doesn’t actually hate him and is just rather odd when it comes to showing affection.

Due to him not knowing how to properly show he loves you either, it’ll just be awkward between the two of you. Tensions will be high, without anything actually happening. He’s not one to take advantage of your being tsundere and tease you, at least not on purpose. Having to patch him up, all the while scolding him about how much of an idiot he is for getting hurt like that does mean you’ll have to get physically close to him.

However, when you’re not being “mean” towards him and just sit down with him, too tired to protest, he will be worried for you at first. Empty insults are basically your love language, so when he doesn’t hear them, he’ll simply look over to you and see what’s wrong. If he sees that you’re asleep, he’ll give you a small smile, possibly even positioning you to rest on his shoulder, but only if you’re in an awkward position that will leave your back sore otherwise. He’s ready for the onslaught of stuttering and insults.

Zacharie

Whilst Zacharie might not be a weeb, he has watched some anime here and there, making him all too familiar with the trope of being a tsundere. It has always been a funny one to him, and he never would have thought he’d get to meet one in person, until you came along. Naturally, at first he thought you simply were a tough customer, but once he saw you coming back over and over again, he got kind of curious, going as far as even calling you out on it. You, of course, did not react kindly to that.

Because he’s being a funnyman, he likes to tease you on purpose. Compliments, pick-up lines, flirting, anything to rile you up and get you to become a stuttering mess, falling over your own words and getting even more flustered, until you can’t even form a coherent sentence anymore. And if you like to turn away from him or hide behind your hands, he will either follow suit, or take your hands in his, just so you would look at him again and he can see you grin like a goof.

Despite knowing that you like him, with Zacharie reciprocating, he’ll wait until you confess first, just so he can tell you he already knew from the very beginning and see you throw insults at him again. But starting from then on, he’ll also get physically closer to you. Holding your hand, placing his forehead against yours and, his favourite, giving you quick pecks to watch your soul leave your body again.

During the calmer times, when the two of you are simply cuddling, for example, he’ll also go quiet. He knows when to push your buttons, and when to leave it. Plus he’s got to cherish the times where you can actually admit to liking him without calling him the world’s worst awful man in existence. That’s when he’ll likely just hold you close and, depending on whether you’re standing or not, rock you in his arms a bit too.

Vader Eloha

The first thing she notices is how rude you are, despite her having nothing done to personally offend you. But then again, perhaps you were simply someone unhappy with her reigning. That’s one of the reasons why she’ll invite you over for some tea, coffee, or any other beverage of your choice. Her intention wouldn’t be to change your mind, but to see how she can change and become a better person.

Another one who has no idea what an anime even is, but she does get curious as to why you keep returning to her. Eventually, she figures you simply like her company and that’s just how you are. Eloha will invite you over more often so you can spend more time together. Naturally, she’ll be as kind as she always has been towards you and, as a friend, offer you anything you wish. She’ll come to quite enjoy your company, after all.

Once you confess to her, she’ll be shocked as she didn’t see that sort of thing coming at all, but she won’t mind either. Though, in hindsight, she’ll think she should have expected such a thing. As she’s quite motherly and affectionate, she’ll fluster you quite a lot, but not on purpose. If you ask her to stop, she’ll oblige, your comfort comes before anything else, after all. Even so, she’ll take your hands in hers and gently stroke them with her thumb, that’s a habit that dies hard.

When it’s quiet she’ll start humming you a soft lullaby as she holds you close to her chest. It’s another habit of hers that she can’t seem to get rid of, but as long as you react positively to it, Eloha will keep doing it. Rubbing your back gently, giving you a small kiss on your forehead or the crown of your head, she’ll do anything to get you to sleep. You must be tired, so it’s what you deserve.

In one of the scenes, zach told cam "and when this is over-" something along those lines and cammie cut him off and was like, "no, let's just not think" , what do you think zach wanted to say??? I believe it's in UWS

I think there’s a number of things that Zach wanted to say in this scene. I think he had a million different thoughts in his head.

The scene that this anon is referring to happens at the end of chapter 28. I won’t say anything else because I don’t wanna give away any spoilers in case anyone hasn’t read what happened in that chapter yet.

But Cammie is just about at her wits end and Zach knows this. He can see it in the way she holds herself. He can see it in the way she talks. He can see it from a distance and up close. He knows that this is exhausting for her and if he could take it all away, he would do it in a heartbeat. And Cam knows that.

And I think Zach was just trying to reassure Cammie. Say something along the lines of “when this is over, everyone will be able to start fresh.”

“When this is over, we can finally rest.”

“When this is over, it’ll all have been worth it.”

There’s so many different phrases and things he could have said and I think it’s awesome that Ally didn’t include any. I think Cammie just needed a distraction at that point. Something for her to hold onto. Something for her to hear and remember. I think she was also scared because what if Zach says something and it doesn’t happen?

Once you reach your house close and lock the door, you quickly put on your undercover Hero suit with most importantly your hero mask "Xin I'll be back sweetie!" Xin mewed and went back to sleep you grabbed your suitcase and went out of the house you pressed a button and a few seconds later it became a motorcycle you hopped on it and drove to your boss agency

"Ah there you are birdie~," Keigo said as he smirked keigo was your agent partner and boss he was in charge of striking down and killing villains and you were either the backup up or his getaway driver they walked you in the meeting room where ziki kicker and, Maharu was in "alright since everyone is here.." he drops the documents papers for everyone in the room "There's a villain planning to steal a valuable and powerful jewelry kept safe in the safe kitkari, you, and maharu find the bombs and remove them carefully while me birdie and buns (aka Mirko) will take care of her ourselves which means y/n and maharu will pretend that they're partners" you all agreed with his plan and head out with your spy car "Oh and make sure you dress up nicely and use your fake identit s and disguise make sure theyre not real " Mirko stated "hm I wonder why do we?

Once they made it to the ball 2 large men were guarding the door "Name and partner name?" The men said pulling out their hands for any type of ID "I'm Marshall Rover this is my lovely wife Sasha Willwood " "ok get in next " "Zachary west and my lovely wife Mary~" Ziki tried fake flirting with Kitkari (aka mary) wich Mary pretended to be flustered "ok get in" you and Mahara looked at each other and nodded "State your name?" "Um I'm f/n (fake name) and this is my husband uh..moose?" Marharu and the others stared at you Keigo and Kitari tried not to laugh while Ziki and Miriko rolled their eyes the guard eyed at the both of you while you smiled at them trying to keep their cool "yea your on the list get in" you sighed in relief and walked pass the large fancy doors

and you were amazed when you saw how well done it was it felt like you were a background character in Cinderella "Well damn no wonder, why ms Miriko told me to dress nice this place is beautiful" You stared in wonder head turning at each angel to feast upon the view like a child 1st discovering candy stores unaware that hawks were chuckling at your reaction "gotta pay attention birdie don't wanna miss our target~" you snapped out your daze "Oh! Im so sorry I'll do better next time my mistake mr hawks" you made a small bow to him while Ziki snickered at you and he chuckled "That's all right now let's focus"

"Good luck!" Kitkari winked at you while she and Ziki ran off with their gear they sped away the 4 of you spread out by slow dancing to spot the red-haired woman, "look!" Marharu whispered pointing at the small crown near the food table you see the red-haired woman, the woman's name was Diana famous for stealing valuable things and has been on the run for 4 years now nobody ever caught her because of her quirk camouflage and another quirk called lava, "Mr ha- I mean Keigo I see her.." you whispered making sure nobody heard you "let ziki and kari know and I'll grab the attention of everyone in the party for a while you finished the job" suddenly Keigo went on stage and choose some music while miriko played piano with him

Your eyes sparkled at how smooth your boss's voice was and how Mirko was amazing at playing the piano and also singing with him heck you were almost distracted keigo spotted you and gave you a wink and a charming smile which made you blush while Mirko gave you a seductive wink and blow a kiss you blushed and looked away in embarrassment, Maharu changed his finger to the tip of a sniper while you had a gun in your pocket (his quirk is a firearm which allows him to form limbs as any gun his drawback is running out of bullets and losing energy) "ziki when I tell you now you turn off the lights" "on it"

Maharu got his aim and shot ready

Keigo and miriko was getting ready to fight in case they missed

"NOW!" You turned off the lights and heard bullets flying and people screaming and running away "Did...you get it?" You turned on the light and saw people screaming seeing the redhead on the floor blood streaming down her head everyone was running in different directions "IT THEM!!" The 2 men said pointing at the 4 of you joining them were like 100 guards guns locked and loaded "...RUN!" The 4 of you dashed off going up the stairs and down the hall "KARI ZIKI GET THE CAR READY're going TO JUMP OFF THE ROOF "

Miriko was jumping back and forth throwing punches and kicks h at the guards but there were too many and had pretty strong quirks the 4 of you made it to the roof Mirko used her leg to knock off a piece of a metal pipe and tied it around the door to block it off while you used for your quirk to try and block off the exit making them harder to get to you, "cmon cmon cmon!"m

Your mind was running wild screaming even though the doors were about to open at any minute nails and bolts falling apart while the door kept staying strong shaking back and forth "We have no choice just jump!!" The 4 of you jumped as far as you could just when the guards finally busted down the door a red sports car drove underneath the 4 of you crashing you and their fall and quickly driving away quickly.

After everyone got dropped off at their designed area with a bunch of goodbyes and teasing you were the last to drop off "Good job on today's mission Birdy did amazing today~" "yea honey bun you did amazing today!" You rubbed the back of your head sheepishly "Eh it wasn't that good the two of you were amazing, especially your singing and piano playing!" They both chuckled at your praise "well have a goodnight!" The two of them watched as You rushed off into your "house "you know baby our little employee there is kinda cute i wonder are they single?" "Patience love Patience let's get to know them 1st before we ravaged them" he playfully glared at her whole they sped off into the night

Time skip to the next day

You arrived at the lovely day at the cafe maharu was a bit cranky while ziki was being a little shit as usually "Hey y/n ready to start the day?!" "Yes and you better not steal any of the expired treats KARI" she giggled while you playfully put of the middle finger at her you heard the bell behind you and immediately turned around giving them your biggest smile "hello my name is y/n and welcome to the cafe!"

Y/n!! Y/n!!

You looked up to see a familiar green hero suit freckled and green messy hair, brown eyes and pink cheeks with slightly longer hair

Headcanons About The Next Generation After TLH (Part One?)

Because I'm afraid of not getting much info on the next generation after tlh, I need to make headcanons:

Alexander Lightwood: Definitely has some deep rooted trauma about the whole being forced to take runes. Even when he gets old enough and even after he's been doing it a while, runes scare him, and it's hard each time to get them as needed. So he strives to be so good at being a Shadowhunter, that he won't need that many runes to help him. This leads to him constantly training, trying so hard to be the best. This probably doesn't make him popular amongst his peers, viewing him as way too intense and a bit of a hardass. This probably leads him to hanging out a lot with Owen and all the other younger kids more often then people his own age. He wants to train them, but the other kids are kinda scared to given how hardcore he goes with training. But he never gives up, practically begging to train the other kids everytime he sees them, only to be turned down each and everytime. His family definitely worries about him fighting, since he puts on the bare minimum of runes. He fights with all he has regardless, and his family wants him to stop being so reckless, but he never listens. I'd like to think he eventually makes friends his own age that understand him, gaining a parabatai even. Maybe his parabatai helps him with his fear of runes, since getting runes from a parabatai is supposed to be a different experience.

Zachary Carstairs: Lived with his mom in Persia until 1911 when she died, then moved in with Alastair and Thomas in Paris. Then, when Zachary finally began healing, in 1915 Thomas died too, probably in battle. So at only 12 this kid is well versed in loss. (Don't know if these death dates are canon anymore but its all i have to work with) Alastair decides to move back to London to be closer to his friends and sister to deal with the loss, and hopefully get Zachary, who had been too absorbed in the grief of his mother to make friends, to not isolate himself once again and make some connections. After all, Alastair knows all about self isolating himself out of pain, and gives some pretty inspiring advice to Zachary, but he's still struggling. Zachary's a naturally quiet person, he'll be in a room for a while before he's noticed, always surprising people with his presence; Definitely has a rep for being creepy because of that. He's definitely better at sneaking up on demons in a more of a sneak attack thing then just straight on, also enjoys spying. He and the Fairchild twins definitely become very close, forming a little tight knit trio.

Tamara "Tammie" Fairchild and Theodore "Theo" Fairchild (The Fairchild Twins): Their parents are much older than everyone else's parents, so they often find themselves worried about their parents dying sooner then they would like. Tammie adores record keeping any and everything. She likes knowing things, and thinks everyone should know everything as well, often leading to her giving a lot of unwanted rants to others. She writes any and everything down. (She definitely hates Esme with a burning passion) She just really wants a well written record of history for the next generations to come. She is well versed in extracting information from people. She fights demons very robotically almost; she’s good at it, it’s just very cold like. Theo loves fighting, it's honestly a bit concerning. He's a bit addicted to the adrenaline of it. He always came home covered in bruises and the biggest smile, just gotten into another fight on purpose. He fights demon like a monster really, it's kind of scary. Henry probably heard of 'this cool new thing called art therapy' and Theo actually became quite the artist. So the trio of these twins and Zachary definitely have a bit of a rep for being intimidating.

Owen Herondale: No idea if this guy is still canon due to the family tree mess, but I'm just going to assume it is. I think it would be funny if he, unlike every other Herondale to ever exist, is amazing at communicating his feelings, as well as other people's feelings. He's like, 'it's okay, I know you're only lashing out in a misguided attempt to protect me because you care about me, but I assure you this kind of thing is self destructive'. He very much acts as an unlicensed therapist, and random people often just pop up to discuss their problems to him. But he's still a Herondale, so of course there needs to be something, so he often finds himself disregarding his own feelings to help others; He is carrying a lot of people's emotional burdens, and it can be exhausting. He's definitely way too good at playing chess, Cordelia and James having taught him, turning him into a bit of a strategist when fighting demons and other aspects of life.

Lydia Kingsmill: Again, no idea if this is still canon, but here we are. Lydia, ngl, interests me so much; She isn't from one of the main Shadowhunter families we're used to. We know nothing of the Kingsmill's. I'd say since she's basically the only Kingsmill we know of, that the Kingsmill's are probably a family that have a bit of a Lovelace situation. They aren't usually super involved, doing the bare minimum. Maybe Lydia's parents decided to quit when she was a kid, but she refused, wanting to become a true Shadowhunter. So she gave them an ultimatum; her, or a peaceful life. They choose a peaceful life, and she ran off to live in the London Institute. This, naturally, is how she got involved with the Herondales, the Carstairs, the Lightwoods, the Fairchilds, and the Blackthorns. She's definitely incredibly stubborn, probably thinks she needs to be the best because she literally left her parents for this, so every she takes every mistake very hard. The only one that actually trains with Alexander (he literally cries when she accepts). Her and Owen, of course, in his Herondale nature, have quite the love story. They met young, when she first ran away, and she does not appreciate this guy that can tell she's secretly in pain.

Chicken Run 2: Dawn of the Nugget (2023)

Well, now we know what it would look like if Ken Adam designed a chicken farm. If the original Chicken Run was a parody of The Great Escape, this sequel is a loving send-up of classic Connery era James Bond movies, with a dash of Mission: Impossible for good measure. From the second the preposterous façade of Fun-Land Farms is revealed, with its moat of explosive robotic ducks and its craggy exterior, exactly where this will be going becomes abundantly clear. The central break-in and recover mission reads as an excuse to come up with a gag a minute, ribbing those classic spy action tropes. The ethos of the villains is once again: how can someone be so diabolical and yet so dim? A retina scan is in fact just some bloke cross-referencing a magnified image of one of his coworkers’ eyeballs against an Eye Pad manual; even a photo is enough to trick him. The contraption that Ginger is strapped into obviously goes to 11. And formidable guards can be knitted into submission. The crown jewel of it all is the return of the formidable Mrs Tweedie. Her entrance takes so long that it prompts her potential business partner to check his watch as she slowly descends a spiral staircase that exists for no reason, but boy is it worth the wait. Tweedie is in full Dr No mode, hair meticulously coiffed and sporting a Nehru collar on her dress. As with Bond adventures, the sticky situations the chickens land in are always tight, but their escape methods tend towards the home-brewed and simple. Of course popcorn is the solution to all of life’s problems! Aardman Studios shows once again that all it takes is a sparkling, winking wit to make for a cracking fun adventure.

Of course, even with fun gags aplenty, grounding the adventure in characters we want to see succeed makes things stronger. Now that Ginger and Rocky have a child, the sense of priorities for Ginger especially shift: where earlier she had been a freedom fighter, now she views herself as a protector, wanting to shield her little girl from the cruelties that she escaped. But that protection comes with a cost, and the extreme measures Ginger decides to take upon learning about the new farm threaten to quash Molly’s own burgeoning sense of individuality and freedom. Molly’s desire for adventure lands the lot of them in trouble, but also prompts Ginger to realize the importance of that drive in her daughter. None of this is new ground in family animated movies, but it’s executed with sincerity and strong performances from Thandiwe Newton, Bella Ramsey, and Zachary Levi (and fun return performances from the lot of the hens) to make it worthwhile.

The opening strains of the Chicken Run main theme prompted such a strong pang of nostalgia in me. Harry Gregson Williams’ score to that earlier film made a strong impression on me growing up, one of the first to really show me the power of good music in movies. This take drops the kazoos which featured throughout the original score in favor of jazzy little zingers that wink at Lalo Schifrin’s Mission: Impossible theme, but it’s just as equally stirring and melodramatic as before.

If you needs must have a butt joke in your movie, make it about a rat getting fisted.

It was an alternate universe. Zach had to invent multidimensional travel to grab a new Grant and Jonas so he looked like he actually had friends besides the girls

I genuinely do not know and it could have to do with Cammie herself.

Like sure Camster isn't that thickheaded (okay just a lot but it protects her from the head trauma) but Cammie didn't really focus on Grant and Jonas mostly because she was busy dealing with spy-pigtail-puller Zachary Goode (he's such an annoyance I love him)

We only ever hear about Grant and Jonas in very small hiccups of information like idk Grant being hot and Liz talking about Jonas and Grant being hot and someone vaguely mentioning Jonas' name and Grant being hot (you get the point, he's a sexy lamp)

They might've had a bigger role in drafts but that would've also either taken away from Zammie or had a higher page count than what Ally was aiming for

There could've been a whole deleted scene of Cammie thinking she fell through the multiverse and crash landed on a planet where Rebecca Baxter didn't know how to talk to a boy or even a small Liz and Cammie scene where Liz admits to liking the new, feeling a little bit like a normal girl when in truth she's never been anywhere near normal, even before she became a Gallagher Girl but something just feeling off

We'll never know honestly why Grant and Jonas fell if the face of the earth or why there weren't scenes of them in OTGSY helping Zach and the CPS infiltrate Blackthrone or even just getting more of the boys just being traumatized boys and not knowing how to wear ties right or Grant hating sleeves or Jonas being unused to so many layers and sweating a ton.

AU where where everyone with a dad who is explicitly dead/absent during their developmental years was. Well, raised with their dad as a primary influence from when they were kids. This only works if both the kid and dad are characters who appear, and if we know for a fact that the dad left the kid's life when they were little or weren't present at all. I just realized that a lot of them would have drastically changed their kids personality/life direction. It would also WILDLY alter their allegiances.

Examples Include (tweaked by my own headcanons):

T.Casket raising Gregory Casket. This implies that CBF might not have been present in Gregory's Casket and may even lead to Jimmy Casket possessing someone else entirely. He'd still be into Paranormal Investigating, but I imagine he'd be more empathetic to the paranormal and also entirely desensitization to the scary parts. This has been his life for like, ever!

Dr. Johnathan Toast raising Gavin, Johnny, and Jenny Toast. For those not in the know: Dr. Toast is employed as a scientist and likely lost custody for experimenting on his children. Maybe in this Universe, he had the common sense not to do that. The downside: Dr. Toast works for Darth Calculus. Darth Calculus who is known for his child training programs. If we get ToastedGhost here it HAS to be enemies-to-lovers. (DC actively tries to spy on and destroy T.Casket's PIE they are enemies)

Chakalata Soup raising Fred "Spooker" Soup. This either means two things. Option one is that the Chef didn't get banished and is still in Good Standing with PIE, in which case Gregory and Spooker might be childhood friends. Alternatively, the chef got banished again, but Spooker came with him, meaning he is likely raised to dislike PIE and see them as liars... but knowing Spooker he'd probably be seeking peace between them. Either way, he's more spectral.

John Smigglebug raising Billy AcachallaSmigglebug. We know next to nothing about this man, but I like to think that if Billy's powers are genetic, being raised by his bio dad would allow him to learn how to control it and Really become a force of nature... though the Smigglebug family does seem to be very important in a omnipotent way.

Zachary. Zachary... being present for Sally Acachalla. Okay, in my canon Sally's 'dad' is actually a surrogate, so this is more about Sally being raised by her moms in the second dimension. Are there still zombies? I have no clue! Either way I imagine Sally's given a bit more peace. And a flamethrower.

"Tinker Corndog" raising Sue Acachalla. The first complete negative: Whatever his real name is, Sue's dad is the LITERAL worst and will do nothing but be a bad example who hurts her heart. No matter how hard she tries, she will never appease him... Sue is apparently also a Smigglebug through her dad, though, so hopefully she gets cool powers out of it.

Gregory. Gregory raising James Maloney. We might already have an example of what this would look like in the second dimension! He's a lawyer and a little bit of a dick, but hopefully has more control of his bird powers.

Princeton Quagmire raising Princess Quagmire. No comment, I just think Princeton having a little girl version of him following him around is cute and humanizing.

TV Tag Game 📺

1. The Magicians

- if you see me post anything other than Top Gun and memes, it’s usually this damn show. I have it on DVD & was immediately obsessed with it when I first saw it. I fell in love with the characters that I even went out and bought the book series (I have yet to read them though). Queliot is my true OTP and my heart aches for what the show did to Quentin. I will never get over it 😭

2. Gossip Girl

- this is my guilty pleasure show. I always hate telling people I love this show because it’s so drama filled and toxic relationships are everywhere, but this is definitely my comfort show. I always rewatch it and can find myself saying the lines along with the characters.

3. Chuck

- funny story, the person who does this show also does Gossip Girl 🤭 I’m in love with Zachary Levi and he did this character so good. It’s just a goofy, but fun show where you’re constantly rooting for the main character, Chuck. You can’t help but fall in love with all the characters as well (Casey, my love). It’s a fun lil spy show that my dad actually got me into.

4. Ouran High School Host Club

- y’all can pry anime out of my cold dead hands because this is also another guilty pleasure show. Definitely a comfort show as well next to Gossip Girl. It’s only one season and I’ve watched it time and time again. It’s such a fun show and definitely kind of weird, but I can’t help but love it.

5. Demon Slayer

- once again with the anime 😅 I’m eagerly waiting for the next season to be finished so I can watch it. I’ve finished the manga and I’m not ready to see it come alive in the show. I definitely end up sobbing each season and I love seeing how all of the characters interact. rip rengoku, I miss you 😭

6. Grey’s Anatomy

- the amount of tears I’ve shed watching this show 😅 I had to stop at one point because it made my mental health very unstable because I was crying every day because of it. I ended up started over back in 2020 and immediately fell back in love with the characters. I still have the biggest soft spot for the first season main characters though :/ I haven’t watched it since the beginning of season 18 though and idk if I want to finish it without Meredith now that she’s gone.

7. The Walking Dead

- I LOVE this show. My sister and I started rewatching it and finished it as soon as the last season ended. I definitely sobbed when my favorite characters died, but now I’m rooting for Michonne to find Rick and for everything to be alright — I can’t wait for the spin-offs they’re planning on.

8. Stranger Things

- as almost everyone else, this show has taken a hold of me ever since I watched Season 1. Season 3 was the best by far, Season 4 had me going crazy, and I’m so ready for Season 5 already. Aka I’m ready to be a sobbing mess for whoever they decide to kill off 😭

This idea had been on my head lol, can I request a scene regarding zammie on a mission, but zach got jealous, like the song "jealous" by nick jonas? :D sorry and thank you hehe

There's an unspoken rule when you're dating in the Covert world. If you're working with your partner, you can never intervene unless it's a matter of life and death. If your partner just got caught stealing a bag of fruit, you can't just bail them out. If your partner just got stopped for running a stop sign, you can't help pay their ticket. And if your partner has to flirt with the son of the Swedish ambassador at a black-tie dinner in front of Swedish politicians and diplomats. There is absolutely nothing in the world that you can do besides watch.

Zach was on a mission, obviously. His button-down top was freshly dry cleaned and ironed. His bowtie was pristine, and his hair was immaculate. (He swears by that Got2Be Glue stuff…)

And he was engaging in conversation with Mr. Alexander Johannson, a political diplomat that just so happens to be a great eyes and ears into those secret government meetings. And a man who has a hard time shutting up once you supply him with enough Champagne.

But talking about his financial advisors was the last thing Zach wanted to do. He nodded and laughed, smiling that roguish grin. And then he heard a laugh--one he knew all too well.

Zach smiled again, bringing his glass of Champagne to his lips. A waiter strolled on by and he caught a glimpse of the owner of that laugh.

Cammie was grinning from ear to ear, laughing. She placed a hand on another man's chest, leaning in close to whisper something in his ear, and the look on the Swedish son's face, had Zach clenching his free hand into a fist. He knew deep down that it was just Cam doing her job, but it was making him mad. He wished she didn't have to laugh at his lame jokes. And he wished she didn't have to show so much skin either.

He knew he was being protective and obsessive. He knew he was being passive aggressive with his conversations. But he couldn't help it. Cammie was beautiful. She wore a sexy red dress with a slit that went up her thigh, showing off her strong muscles. He knew without looking that she had a knife strapped to the other side. It made him weak in the knees just thinking about it.

Setting his champagne on a passing waiter's tray, Zach politely excused himself from Alexander, turning on his heel. He disappeared into the crowd of people, nobody paying any attention to the man in a nice suit. They didn't see him for what he was. A trained killer. A wolf in sheep's clothing. An undercover spy. And his girlfriend was flirting with a man who has been charged with higher crimes than himself.

Zach glided through the crowd, moving with purpose. He grabbed another glass of champagne that passed in front of him, strolling up to Cammie and the Swedish son. Zach cleared his throat.

"Good evening, you don't mind if I cut in for a moment?" He said in perfect Swedish. Zach held out his hand, champagne in the other. "I just cannot resist a beautiful woman in red,"

Cammie's eyes glittered, her cheeks staining with pink. She took the glass of champagne and smiled slyly at the man beside her. "I'll only be a moment," She tells him, taking Zach's hand.

She follows him to the middle of the crowd. They barely take ten steps and Zach is pulling her in close, his arm around her waist. She presses up against him, the scent of him filling her nose. She sighs. "What's with the look?" She asks, tilting her head a bit.

Zach grips her tighter, making Cammie gasp. "Mr. Alexander has had enough of you tonight, I thought it only fair that I get a turn," He says matter-of-factly. The sentiment makes Cammie laugh.

"Jealous?" She asks, teasing him with another look. "Is Zachary Goode jealous?"

Zach rolls his eyes and without notice, he dips her in the center of the crowd, just as he had down so many years ago. "I don't get jealous, Gallagher Girl," He lets her up and pulls her in close once more. "I get even." He says, his hand firm on her lower back, his fingers grazing her bare skin.

Goosebumps form on her arms and down her body as she stares at Zach. If they weren't at risk of exposing the whole operation, she would have kissed him. But she couldn't. And the way Zach was looking at her, his eyes ablaze with fire, she knew she was in for it when they made it to the safehouse.

And that sent her heart thundering against her ribcage.

Chapter 4: I will miss and be thinking of you

Jackson x Aristotle

Jackson pov

It’s been three days it is the day Aristotle is going to Greece for a movie I decided to go say bye to Aristotle and give them a hug at school before they go

Jackson: Aristotle!

Aristotle: yes?

Jackson:* hugs Aristotle* I’m going to miss you!

Aristotle:* hugs Jackson* I will miss you too

Jackson: let me know if the the acting goes well!!

Aristotle: I will!

Jackson: do you have to leave school early today?

Aristotle: yes I have to leave after my science class

Jackson: ok

A few hours later Aristotle leaves school and go to the airport

Dyo: are you ready to be in a movie Aristotle?

Aristotle: yes I am

Aristotle and dyo get on the plane and Aristotle gets a text from Jackson in the group chat the text said “good luck!!” Aristotle smiles and replies “thanks Jackson” and then the plane takes off to the sky

Meanwhile with Jackson and max

Max: why haven’t you told mom and dad your polyamorous?!

Jackson: because they may kick me out of the house!

Max: why would do that?

Jackson: because everyone excepts that you should have one life time partner.

Max: Jackson we have two dads I think they will be ok with you wanting to kiss all your friends

Jackson: I never said I wanted to kiss them

Max: them why where you upset when Aristotle had to go to Greece for a movie?

Jackson: because they’ll be gone for four months

Max: are you sure you don’t just care about them and are scared of something bad happening to them?

Jackson: yes I’m sure I know they’ll be fine

Max: yeah, sure

Jackson: I’m not worried about them max

Max: if you “ aren’t worried about Aristotle” then why were you really upset when they left?

Jackson: if I tell you the truth, will you shut up about it?

Max: yes

Jackson: it’s true I do miss them a lot I’m worried about something bad happened to them

Max: I knew it!

Jackson: shut up now let it go!!

Max: fine I will

Jackson:* calling Aristotle*

Aristotle:* answers* hi Jackson

Jackson: have you started the movie yet?

Aristotle: yes we did

Jackson: what kind of movie is it?

Aristotle: some sort of spy movie

Jackson: ohh that’s cool what character are you playing?

Aristotle: I’m playing the sidekick

Jackson: that’s cool

Aristotle: why did you call me I’m on set now

Jackson: I just wanted to know how it was going and sorry

Aristotle: it’s fine it’s not your fault you didn’t know

Jackson: are you starting soon?

Aristotle: no I got about a hour before I start we can talk more

Jackson: sorry if this is weird but would you like to go on a walk at night maybe stargaze?

Zachary: is this like a date?

Jackson: no of course not just to hang out

Zachary: if that’s the case, then yeah I would love to do that!

ALRIGHT ILL GIVE YOU THE WHOLE TLDR this started when my friends moved to mornings. The two people I am closest to at work are my friends Sophia and Rachel and they are both directors at my store while I am just a manager. So ALREADY I'm jealous because they get to go to all these director's meetings together, and then they both move to mornings and not only does that suck because they get to see each other all the time and I see them maybe twice a week BUT THEY LEFT ME WITH ALL THE GUY MANAGERS So one of the guy managers I have spoken of before is Ben. And he is the one that I now work with the most. I used to be kinda close with him while he was dating one of the other managers but we kinda waned out of friendship after something happened on one of my leading shifts (it was not deep.)

We will remember Ben as the Capricorn I work with who broke up with his girlfriend because of a conversation he had with our boss about how she is not the kind of girl he wants to spend the rest of his life with (as she had been going to parties a lot???) and then he broke up with her at work right after her shift and as he started his and then he had sexual relations with a FRESHLY 18-year-old girl that he had been doing one-on-ones with for work while he was still sleeping with his now ex-girlfriend and she found out because she went through his watch text messages at work

DRAMA RIGHT AND I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE THINKING, brie he is a terrible person

mhm. So. he is a pretty good friend to have. He is very funny, and is easy to make fun of and he's actually pretty supportive. Working with him all of the time I have gotten closer to him. I used to go to the gym with him and my other coworker Blake but when all the aforementioned stuff happened I stopped. Anyways we all started seeing each other at the gym again and THEN my coworkers Nam and Blake moved to the same apartment 'neighborhood' as me. I joked with them that I would be at their apartment all the time cause we live so close

I've always been kinda friends with Nam since we both like anime and we're the same age, but we aren't actually that close. Anyways Blake was having his birthday party at Nam's apartment and I got myself invited because I am annoying :) And the people there are Daniel, Blake, Nam, and Ben. Somehow, that turned into this group of people hanging out EVERY tuesday. I left my sweatshirt and Nam's apartment on Blake's birthday and so everytime Nam saw me he would loudly be like WHEN ARE YOU COMING BACK TO GET YOUR SWEATSHIRT (as if we had fucked and I like it there... humiliating) so I start getting invited to hang out with the group which has extended to adding Minnie, Cassidy, my friend Justin, my coworker Aaron and his friend Kellen.

This is a WEIRD group of people and my friend Rachel does get jealous pretty easily. They both HEAVILY judge me for my friendship with Ben (fair) and they really judged me when I told them about the hangout so I didn't show up like two weeks in a row but for some reason they always text me and call me if I don't show up so I've started going anyways

Rachel doesn't react to my bereals if Ben is in them

So Rachel had taken over the schedule and on the very few times that I got to see her I would joke that she purposely moved herself to mornings cause she doesn't want to work with me. Anyways I am mean when I joke. I know this. I tell people this because I'm really insecure about it because I'm so "nice" all the time no one believes me and then I hurt someone's feelings and I want to cry. So anyways she started crying because of these jokes and she said she felt like I was mad at her.

I wasn't but I also was a little because also we were supposed to hang out with some other friends Emilee, and Chelsea and my friend Dawn and Emilee said she couldn't hangout that day and they planned to hang out then anyways without even trying to find a different day that would work. That's shitty. And then she said that she just really wanted to hammer down a day because she had been trying to plan this since august but like that was just bullshit it was the ONE day Emilee couldn't hang out she just didn't try hard enough and didn't even care that she was leaving Emilee out of it.

SO I was really stressed cause I didn't know how to tell them I thought that was really shitty. And also during ALL of this I am really really depressed. I don't want to talk to anyone, every single shift I worked I would cry because it was so hard and then I ran out of my anxiety meds so I was having panic attacks every single shift.

Anyways Rachel tells me I'm mean, she cries, I cry and then try to ice them out because I don't want to cry and make it all about myself. I have a cute breakdown.

It's really confusing to have this weird group of friends who really want to hang out with me and then Rachel and Sophia who want to hang out with me but also know that Rachel is mad at me. And it's really stressful to remember that if I talk about the people I am hanging out with the most and who seem to want to talk to me the most then my other friends will be mad at me. But if I don't hang out with that weird group of friends I will be so lonely because the only other person that I want to talk to all the time is busy and I am definitely smothering them cause I'm so fucking annoying

So, also I have no one to talk to about work. Rachel and Sophia don't work with the people I work with. I complain about everything if I can and also when I complain about things that Ben do they immediately get him in trouble for it by dragging our store operator into things when they aren't that serious and I am already dogging on him for it so now it's like if I complain about ben it gets back to him and one of these days he is going to be mad at me for it

I always say I can't complain about things because there are always consequences so I stopped complaining about things at work and Rachel and Sophia get mad at me for not talking about work things because we basically don't talk like at all.

However case and point, I told them ages ago that I wanted to learn interviews and they pretended to be excited about it and I mentioned it to them more than once and then a month later they are training James. Not me. So I ask Rachel oh is James learning interviews as if I didn't want to immediately start sobbing upon seeing it. And she immediately said some shit about brittni (our bosses wife) wanting to make sure I wasn't too stressed with school. I ASKED TO LEARN INTERVIEWS. WHY WOULD I ASK IF I WOULD BE TOO STRESSED ABOUT IT BECAUSE OF SCHOOL.

so I complain about it in passing to Blake and my boss over hears that I am upset about something but I don't tell him because I am being a baby right. Well my boss follows up with blake and blake tells him the truth and then my boss thinks that I am upset at him over it. Which I'm not. my boss didn't know I wanted to do interviews. So after our cute little "you should have asked me" chat I cried and then because of that I think rachel got in trouble because I immediately got scheduled to learn interviews.

I DONT WANT TO DO IT NOW. I complained and now everyone things I'm a fucking cry baby. which I am.

and i just. am so greatful for the friends I have but I'm miserable everyday and people are mad at me cause I don't talk about my feelings anymore and I don't even know what they think I just can;t do anything without upsetting anyone.

I don't know. I just really need a therapist but no one will get back to me so I'm just stuck with a dumb psychiatrist who things higher doses of sedative medicine will cure my anxiety and thus minimalize my depression. Whatever. I just hate being a cry baby and being so mad at myself for being a cry baby and then having people tell me how nice and great I am, like I'm not you know what i mean? AND YOU SEE WHAT I MEAN narcissist. Oh boohoo a bunch of people want your attention and want to hang out with you that's so hard. And then on top of that I have to reject a 32-year-old anime coworker who hasn't even asked me out yet.

AND THAT IS WHY IT IS FAIR THEY ARE MAD AT ME and why I should choose not to be friends with my weird group of friends and why I am stressed about it every day sigh

I brushed away the compliment. “I did well in school because Mom taught me how to improve memory. You’re always a step ahead of me unless I lie to you.” “No,” he replied. “I don’t know my numbers, remember?” This time his eyes were closed. “Numbers aren’t that important. You’re smart. You’ve always been.”

I glanced up at him, processing what he said enough to realize he didn’t make quite the same realization I did. “That’s Abigail’s handwriting.” [Raymond] tensed. “Abigail? The spy who used to be a reaper, that Abigail?” I nodded. I knew her handwriting well enough. Saw it scattered over papers growing up. “Meaning, it is the Judge who’s after you,” I added.

[Raymond] took a few steps closer. I turned enough that he could see, and he got close enough that I could feel the warmth of his body. He leaned closer, looking for it, raising a hand and I felt his finger gently touch the back of my neck to feel where I’d been feeling were it had been put in. I braced myself as he touched it, the urge to flinch away was strong. “Shit. I’m sorry,” he said, apologizing again. He backed up, facing me again. I shrugged at his apology. It wasn’t his fault. It was mine. But I didn’t think I should say that and I couldn’t bring myself to say it was fine.

No one ever mentioned my mother. My father was hardly mentioned either, but acknowledged. I knew his name (Nicholas), I knew what he’d done, I knew he was Gaian, that he’d died because he’d made a mistake. Zachary had even told me a few stories about him when he was in a good mood, though those stories didn’t paint him in the best light. The only thing I knew about my mom was that she must be a Nance, since I was. Abigail was still smirking. Was it possible she did know something? Despite the surge of curiosity, I dismissed it. She likely didn’t know, I couldn’t believe anything she said. She’d just use my curiosity against me. So I pretended I didn’t care. I turned my head, facing forward.

I couldn’t make any of their words out, but then, a hauntingly familiar cry of pain. Too quiet to alarm anyone, not fear to get attention—but the horrible sound of suppressing how much something hurt. My mind raced, trying to figure out what had been going on. I’d been so focused on myself that I had no idea what kind of confrontation could be happening. I stepped toward my door, then hesitated. I wanted to know what was going on, but I’d be stepping into some form of Zachary’s wrath, with no idea what I was getting into. Stepping in would be dangerous, and not like the anger I’d been getting from him. This was much more direct. Raymond wouldn't hesitate. He wouldn’t for a moment be thinking about his own fear, he’d jump right in and do anything he could to make sure Mika got out safe. No matter what it would involve.
