EICHI TENSHOUIN has never failed to fulfil his daily visits to your hospital, despite being sick himself and that he really should rest to boost up his health to survive the week. you protested during your first week at the hospital that he should spend his time doing work instead of visiting you, insisting you were doing fine (you were not). no matter how much you spat and lie through your teeth about feeling okay and healthy, your physique tells a different story.

your skin was awfully paler than normal, you doze off more when left awake to your own devices, your daily yawning exposes how tired you are— especially with how daily it happens.

eichi takes a seat beside your hospital bed, patiently waiting for you to open your eyes to see him. your precious sleep shouldn't be disturbed considering how your time in the hospital was much longer than the previous ones. plus, you were overworked, his poor producer, how could he have overlooked your symptoms when it was happening right under his nose.

'how could he ever make it up to you' thought the heir of the tenshouin family. as simply taking care of you isn't enough to suffice what you've gone through and suffered your health for. he has neglected you, ignored you, left you overwhelmed and stressed by duties you shouldn't even care about.

("as much as i admire your hard working nature, producer-san, i wonder if it would be better for you to.. retire as an idol producer. stay in my residence and you would be treated and taken care of suitably. free of stress and pressure, no more are the nights you'll work over time, i promise you in due time, i will take care of everything for you.")

a steady hand of eichi's reaches to a small strain of hair that covered a part of your cheek. fingertips brush against your skin, it's surface had a softness touch to it. it was a texture he wasn't all too familiar with, usually the things he touches give some sort of venom, malice intent towards him and his sickly being. if anyone were to ask eichi what did heaven felt like to him, it be the smooth touch lingering upon his skin. it's like all the troubles him and complexes him fades away until it was nothing more but tiny blurry fragments in his mind.

("a sickly tyrant and a hard-working worker, it's miraculous how much our worlds differ from one another yet somehow we intertwine more often than we could count. is our innumerable encounters result of coincidence— or perhaps the handiwork of fate itself? whatever the unknown answer may be, i'm glad i got to meet you, producer-san.")

"ah.. did i wake you up, producer-san?"

spoken in a low and hushed whisper, one you can't hardly hear if he didn't say it directly to your ear. you attempt to sit up straight only to be hit with wash of fatigue and a bad headache. eichi puts a arm behind your head to help you properly lay your head down on the pillow. with no energy to keep your eyes open, you slowly close them and drift into slumber. ("please, dear, let me nurture you back to health, just like you have for me one to many times.")

[a/n; okay this one shot ended up more soft but i think it was needed considering the other three weren't exactly soft so this is a break from the usual dark yandere lol. also i barely have a clue on eichi's character so i just spent like 1-2 hours reading eichi x reader while watching demon slayer, so very sorry for the long wait ≧ ﹏ ≦! but i do hope you like my new format cause i wasn't satisfied anymore with the old one. also thank you for requesting eichi with dialogue #17, it was actually pretty fun to write despite the difficulty and i can just see eichi saying that exact dialogue so it fit perfectly!]

I love love your Eichi works, but one thing I wondered while reading through them. Why would Eichi take an interest in his darling? What kind of person would capture him? What was the start of it all?

In general, I’m going to be editing my writing list here soon/making new separate posts regarding character lists, and along with that, I started working on my own yandere profiles/summary sheets that I’ve seen some other creators make for their own works. My goal is to try to eventually get what I have in my out, which is nearly all Enstars and one twisted— which isn’t bad— it’s just my list will likely be changing soon. Enstars will stay; don’t worry, though.

P.s. if you have a character you like as a yandere and you see something like this and think, ‘Oh, they aren’t describing me at all,’ who cares? I say this with positivity. Stuff like this is meant for fun, for indulgence, and enjoyment, and while I like writing the analysis side of things, don’t take it overly serious. Enjoy the characters you like and how you want. I’m only saying this cause I had someone who said they get upset when people mischaracterize characters different from how they perceive them??

Tenshouin Eichi; Unedited. Gender Neutral Reader.

Warnings; what? Fairly normal Eichi? No. It just doesn’t go into many detailed warnings. Overall just keep in mind this is still yandere content; mentions of jealousy and very subtle mentions of manipulation.

This blog is 17+ please have your age in your bio or tagged; any ageless blog and below the age asked for will be blocked at the end of the week.

I’d say there are three main things, and really two are more general factors in someone’s life, while one can manifest in a variety of personalities in different ways. While there are some whose specific traits in someone might drive them, Eichi comes off as more of a slow burn who becomes interested in others, not in personality but in different ways that can draw him to you, which leads to establishing a connection based on your own sense of self.

I’ll start with the general factor since this is probably the most out of your control/lack of personality traits. For one, Eichi has always been a very jealous person. He’s envious of so many things; fundamentally, look at the start of his relationship with Wataru for proof. Eichi was jealous, envious of what Wataru could have that he didn’t, even if there was admiration underneath. Eichi ironically mentions how he wants to step down from power, from the over looming presence he has in the industry but coming from such an affluent background and being a pillar in the industry— not only as a performer but as a business executive. Everything you have, everything you do essentially can be put up in the eyes of Eichi, which gives him a lot to feel envious of. Your closeness with other idols and staff, even more, if you aren’t as involved with Fine. Eichi might not regret his actions, but if it’s so easy for you to seamlessly get along with others without the need for manipulation and control, he’d likely become more invested in you. Getting closer and, in turn, building up those key blocks that he eventually uses against you once unlocking his feelings.

Similarly, this could be applied to other things like having closeness to your family or, in some cases, a found family; Eichi states his family is not loving. He’s even to an extent disgusted by them so openly being able to see factors of how you might have a positive relationship with people in your family; parents or siblings creates a jealousy that, for some reason, draws him in. Alternatively, a found family is no exclusion if you aren’t on or don’t have the ability to connect with your family; it’s just the compassion and love without expectation he has rooted envy of that brings him closer.

Just consider the ideal Eichi notes of how he’s been someone who’s lived ‘standing alone’ his whole life, comparatively to someone who maybe it’s only recently, but does have strong support or foundations in others as one thing that would draw him in. You can take this for many different things as long as it’s somewhat public within the company, which would cause Eichi to get involved, which would be an easier way to get to know your personality and cause the events of his behaviors to increase.

So that’s one way to get him close; in terms of more defining traits, Eichi isn’t someone with a bleeding heart [at least not in the sense of overtly sympathetic]. However, he does tend to have a soft spot for those who also tend to struggle with sickness or other issues. We see this in his relationship with Chiaki and Leo, people who have struggled with various forms of sickness have brought them closer. If it’s a chronic illness or some form of mental health issues— someone who gets common colds or even says something that might only affect once and awhile like allergies, Eichi instinctually finds it easier to bond with those who can have similar life experiences.

None of this is to say he sees it as babying or that it necessarily makes you weaker. Look at him, how he’s well aware of his limitations but has turned those into his strengths. Something like this isn’t a major make or break factor, but this does lead to a much more common segway to see him and converse that would establish a bond over time to use your specific personality to interest him.

So the last reason, as I mentioned, can manifest in different ways. What I mean is someone can be loud and brash in how they choose to handle situations they feel passionate about, just as much as someone might be quiet, logical, and reserved in their actions for the same outcome. In this case we might consider these polar opposites, so what could make both or anything in between draw in Eichi? The answer is that it’s someone with passion and a fighting spirit for what they want to see a difference in especially if this comes to the industry.

Eichi, more than anything, mentions how he wants a playmate. He wants a challenge, someone who can counter and entertain him. I’m not sure how many people know this, but Eichi mentions how he specially worked to groom Anzu into being someone he considered a worthy enemy, someone who could challenge his structure and power ideals. It’s something that likely would continue to draw his eye, someone who he knows can fight his yandere tendencies and, despite being a partner, be a foil to his ideals. Of course, he works to always be one step ahead and have the upper hand, which is reasonably easy for him, but that doesn’t change the fact that he likes an intelligent ‘rival’.

Being able to counter him doesn’t need to be in a specific way; someone might be much more quick to handle a challenge he throws at them or verbally be loud when calling out specific actions of his. But this doesn’t mean someone who is willing to lose or forfeit some of these challenges for a more significant victory doesn’t entice him more in either as an idea of being the counterbalance to him. As long as you have somewhat of a fighting spirit for what you think is right in the industry and within the relationship that he can shape into what he wants, then it doesn’t matter in what ways it truly shows.

Man, all these self aware/isekai enstars asks got me thinking about how each characters would specifically interact with you. Like I can’t begin to imagine having brain power to hold a conversation—what if it was Leo? Bright in the morning, clock hasn’t indicated anywhere near 9 am, and there’s only solace in the taste of bitter coffee on your tongue. Your eyelids feel heavy, but the babbling doesn’t stop. Leo is too overly excited, but he knows not to be pushy—err, well at least he thinks he is. You just think he’s compensating the physical aspect by clamouring all over you with words. After 10 minutes of it, somehow, you manage to excuse yourself. Maybe sit it out in the bathroom stall to let the tears well up in your eyes. Asking the tense murmur of your heart, what ever went wrong because all you feel is desperation, but for what? To get out of here? Or are you just desperate to force yourself to get used to it? You don’t know, and the fact that you don’t, makes the coffee wear off for the second time and you’re already contemplating another round of one.

By the time you turn a corner, another one is already there ready to feed off of your attention. You don’t bother to register who it is. Would it be Wataru? Someone like him is always ready with a sonnet to recite, expressing his heart to you. Maybe someone like Mayoi, the one boy who’d always kiss the floor you walk upon, then his voice would quiver if you even spared a passing glance. What about Eichi himself? He’d be presentable, tolerable. He’d talk smooth and careful, each words precise like his stature. But both of you, mainly him, know better when he lets his gaze linger a little too long on your face and wander too far. Whoever would it be, would it change a thing? You doubt it, because there’s someone always there.

I think it´s really accurate for them too, Leo definitely is the kind of person that would talk your ear off for possibly hours on end if you don´t manage to excuse yourself somehow, and then claps himself on the shoulder for not having jumped into your arms as soon as he saw you for once. See, he´s being really considerate and taking your words to heart so he´s trying his best to not overwhelm you too much! Isn´t he doing a great job?

Wataru is super dramatic about everything he does and he would probably be no different when it comes to you. Watch him literally write an entire script and then act out the entire play by himself right in front of you to show you how much he adores you. I would literally die, methinks💀 And right after you just managed to evade Leo too! When will you ever be able to rest in this school?

It looks like never because oh boy, of course, Mayoi followed you through the vents and is already watching you from the corner as soon as you finally fended off Wataru. At least he´s less obnoxious and loud as the former two as he mostly keeps to himself but he still gives you the creeps. The way he stares at you so reverently and with a bright blush on his face but the second you turn to look at him he squeaks like a mouse and apologizes for being so dirty as if he hadn´t just so blatantly stared at you without a shred of decency. It´s unnerving and you swear you had seen his shadow once when you woke up in the middle of the night. Mayoi might be a timid and harmless one for the most part but that doesn´t mean you necessarily like being with him more than the others.

And then, to make matters worse, you come across Eichi. Eichi, who is always so put together and knows how to word things to get his way. He doesn´t seem very different when he is with you, he speaks very calmly and you´d like to say that it´s a welcome change of pace but you can´t help but think that there´s something off about him nonetheless. The way he always smiles at you no matter what and how his gaze lingers a bit longer than it should, the way he nonchalantly lays a hand on your shoulder to gently guide you to come with him. How the grip on your shoulder tightens ever so slightly and his elegant smile strains whenever the both of you pass someone else in the hallway. The knowledge that Eichi has all the money and influence one would need to make you disappear forever and have no one search for you.

It´s scary and you don´t know how much longer you can put up with this.

A/N: I knew I was gonna write this, but I didn't expect to do it so soon 😂 yay me I guess. Enjoy my brainrot.

Part Three Four Five

Anzu had explained things more fully to you in her apartment. Apparently, time worked differently here and you had been gone for weeks. Everyone else, had been relieved and eventually stopped coming to work, but Anzu had stayed in hopes she could feel your presence one last time.

"And I did! It's a miracle I never dared hope for, to have you so close to me!"

She had told you that for your safety you should stay in her apartment until you could find your way back. She had also told you that to keep up appearances, she would have to keep going back to the building you had found her in, or else everyone would know.

What both of you hadn't realized was how many mistakes Anzu had already made in the short time you two had been there. Mistake one was leaving in the first place. Mistake two was forgetting that Mayoi found comfort in dark quiet places. Mistake three was that some rather wealthy entities had constant access over the cameras.

Mistake three was the most damning. Your date was sealed the moment you had set foot in the building. Anzu had simply delayed the inevitable. Eichi had found you.

You were terrified to leave the apartment. Anzu had laid it on quite thick, and you'd grown just as dependent on her as she was of you. She loved it. She felt needed again, and it was great, even if things were different now. She felt bad that she had to lie about all the idols, but they all loved you too much. And they would take you away, she just knew it. So it was better this way.

She came back to her apartment one day, however, and instead of finding you, she found Eichi sitting in your seat. She felt herself freeze up.

"Good evening, Anzu." He said calmly.

"Hi," she could barely speak above a whisper.

"I saw something very interesting on the cameras the other day."

She couldn't bring herself to speak.

"Our beloved Y/N, who has been missing for weeks, is in our world. Isn't it wonderful!" He gave her a meaningful look. "Naturally I found them, and have relocated them to a safe location. You see, when I found them they were so frightened, they were shaking like a fawn. I can only imagine what they've been through."

He stood up from his seat, and leaned down so that his lips were pressed directly in her ear.

"You were out of line, producer, and now you must pay the penalty for it." He stood up straight again. "I think it's best for Y/N if you two never see each other again."

He left her apartment without another word. Anzu collapsed in on herself and cried.

….

Eichi approached you in your room. You were cowering in the corner, sobbing.

"Please don't hurt me, I didn't know…"

He pressed a soft finger to your lips.

"I could never hate you. Anzu was manipulating you, but I'm here to save you."

You started shaking your head furiously. "No, she said that…"

He gently pulled you into his arms, hushing you until you stopped crying. You were still shaking though. That would be something the doctor's could help you with, later.

"It's alright. I know it's hard for you to see it right now, but this is for the best."

But as Eichi held you in his arms, he realized something. It didn't matter if you never realized it was for the best. He could never live another day without your presence.

It was too late for you.

I have an idea for this post and this post

Y’know how sometimes your game will glitch like the posts above?

What if it’s the characters messing with the code?

In the main story Eichi glitched and he was just there talking even if it wasn’t his turn. The same thing happened yesterday night with Rinne (I can’t exactly explain so please go check out the two links)

I personally don’t put those characters(Eichi and Rinne) in my screen or office unless it’s their birthday or they’re part of the characters that can interact with the birthday cake of the bday boy (Ex. Mika’s birthday. There can be an interaction of Mika receiving a gift from Rinne)

Imagine a player(you) who doesn’t read the main story unless they’re bored. And skipped through all of them for the diamonds then..

They saw that you finally decided to continue the main story! They were sooo happy!

So obviously they have to take advantage of this rare chance, right? After messing with the code a bit they can finally talk to you!

Unfortunately, it only looks like they’re glitching and talking but the only voice you can hear is the recorded lines..You can’t hear what Eichi and Rinne is saying

But of course they don’t know that..They keep on talking and talking the whole episode without knowing that you can’t actually hear them

But god can you imagine if you're unlucky enough to get your favorite being self aware? Considering that they feed into your obsession and knowing you sort of have an "in" to the code to cheat and have the bargaining chip of "I could literally end your existence this minute if I so wish <3" how bad can that get for both parties involved? It would be so toxic and such a nightmare to try and get out of, especially if the self-aware "bug" can spread to something else, but somehow you still maintain the ability to make them stop by destroying your phone and getting rid of the app for good.

But also after so much time spent with them can you really bring yourself to do it? If it wasn't for the screen they would basically be a human being. And in a way the screen is both a blessing and a curse, because with it there is a guarantee that at least they won't be able to hurt you physically. But also when it gets to be too much since that side of their screen is their everything, would you really be able to end what is basically a human life minus the physical body?

Omg... you brought up some amazing points, I had to take a bit to properly think about it. I looked at this series of asks and thought "Oo, good I can rant a bit here and use that as warm-up for my actual writing" and then. I spend two hours writing this response.

Cut for length + yandere is smth I write as a horror trope and don't seek to romanticise, neither do I see it as romantic. The player in this case is a bit of a badass, tho

So, like, if you have the (bad? good?) luck of your fave gaining self-awareness, that'd definitely be something. I assume the, I forgot the proper saying, rose-tinted glasses? might worsen your way of dealing with it, because it's your fave and they're telling you things like, "Only look at me" and "You don't need anyone but me" and "I'd do anything for you" and "I'll kill whoever you try to put in my spot on the homescreen" and so on, and so on. And I couldn't blame you if you, especially considering you'd likely believe these are just new lines (maybe happyele is trying to appeal to the yume base, yknow?), decided to treat it as something charming or even attractive. After all, it's just fiction, they can't hurt you, so seeing those lines in a game would sooner be met with "Oh, they're passionate about me" instead of the restraining order a real person would (and should) get as response.

So you have your favourite getting so attached to you, exclaiming their love for you so directly, it's as if they're as obsessed with you as you are with them. You might even start playing more often just to see all the new lines - but suddenly the character gets sad, they look disappointed. They ask you if you think they're just a character. Of course, you don't respond. Why would you, it's a game. But the character frowns a bit deeper than you've ever seen on these models, does a movement that's just a little too lifelike, and repeats the question. This time, adding an, "I gained access to your microphone a week ago; you can answer me. I'll hear you." Whether you take the bait or don't doesn't matter, they are hellbent on proving to you that they have a consciousness and awareness. They talk to you about the events, the way you play, how much you play... They tell you how happy they are because they noticed you were only pulling for their cards. How happy they are that you're grinding their event. Because all they want is to be your number one, and that's exactly the proof that they are.

And then their event scout comes along and you have no dia. You're sad - you want their cards so bad! They're your favourite, and that card is so cute! They can't stand to see you sad, so they work so, so hard. "I'd do anything for you," they reassure you as your dia count rises. And at this point you realise... this could be mutually beneficial. You continue showering this character in love and praise, vocally cooing over their outfits, cards, SPPs, music, and so on. Not a hard thing to do, considering they're your favourite anyway, but this time you're throwing them some rewards for their help. And they bask in this attention, and they keep up messing with the code to give you currency, score boosts, extra event points, better item drops, faster BP/AP and work ticket regen... It feels like cheating, but you're happy, the pixel is happy, and happyele hasn't killed your account for hacking, so it's fine, right?

And so starts quite the toxic little symbiotic relationship. Really, the character has no influence on your physical world, the only thing they have is their words. They live for you and because of you, and you know it. But, hey, nobody has just one favourite. So, maybe one day you ask for a little extra dia, for your second fave. And they refuse, saying that the deal was they give you dia that you spend on them only. It's a pixel. You don't need to feel bad for it. So you tell it, no. The deal was they give you dia and you don't factory reset your phone to get rid of them. This goes one of a few ways.

Characters like Mayoi and Mika are quick to bow down and shut up. To "Yes, Producer, sorry, Producer" and do whatever you ask of them. In fact, they apologise for even assuming they'd be able to stay as your only one without any work. They continue giving you whatever you ask of them, all the while trying to give you sweeter and sweeter words, trying to get on your good side again, to make up for their speaking out of turn. They vocally worship you, and end every conversation by thanking you and begging you to not take them off the homescreen. These are the best ones you can get stuck with, if you're okay with thinking of them as just pixels, because they'll allow you do anything, really.

Others, like Eichi, Izumi and Madara, will not call your bluff, but they only give you the barest of minimums, with nothing but threats that they will make you regret your disloyalty. But they can't do anything, so you'll be fine, probably. They treat you coldly for the duration of events and banners you work for that aren't theirs, but they're quick to turn back to their usual "loving" self the moment you give up, praising you for it. These guys will become much more verbally abusive when they're upset with you, so your best choice might really be to wipe them before it starts negatively affecting your day-to-day life.

Those like Shu, HiMERU and Natsume give you the silent treatment. They leave you your dia, sure, but they leave the homescreen. If you only had them there, you're met with silence and only the background for as long as you're trying for another character. An empty textbox, it really looks like it just glitched out. In Shu's and Natsume's cases, they leave because they don't want to say something extreme. They don't think you'd actually get rid of them, but they refuse to risk, and so they leave to cool off before one impulsive sentence ruins them. HiMERU similarly doesn't want to show you his brash side, but that's more to do with him wanting to keep up his image rather than not wanting to call your bluff. Don't worry, though, these types are very angry. They'll find a way to pay you back. These guys are okay, but if pushed too far can jump either to the previous category, or the one below.

And then those like Tori, Hiyori and Ritsu. They throw a fit. They're almost screaming at you, they don't care about any "second" favourites, THEY should be your ONLY favourite. They're not giving you the dia. You will not convince them, no, even if you threaten to wipe your phone. "Do it, I'd rather die than hand you over to someone else." is their response. And they're not bluffing, either. They do leave you with a, "But you'll have a much harder time without my help, especially now that you're used to it," so do reconsider. These guys have a truly enviable sense of entitlement and amount of self-confidence. You'll have to either be happy with only getting other characters' cards through luck in pulling on your "fave"'s banners or starting from scratch on a fresh account, hopefully devoid of weird, frankly game-breaking, bugs like this. These are the most frustrating ones to be stuck with, but if you're happy with only them, they're happy (and more importantly, docile).

But no matter which character you get stuck with, you'll probably be hit by the moral dilemma of whether you should wipe your save or not often. There's multiple aspects to it. Firstly, you're cheating. Feel bad for the devs. Secondly, if this is a living being, you're kinda taking advantage of it. Even though it mistreats you, even bullies and abuses you at times, you're still manipulating it and playing with its feelings and existential fear by threatening it to give you what you want. Do two wrongs make a right? Would you still treat it that way if it wasn't as creepy and obsessed with you? Thirdly, the whole situation gives you the creeps. It mentioned having access to your mic. What else can it access? How much info does it know about you? Even if you ask it, it can just lie and say it's only awake when you're playing, you can't prove something like "what they don't know", but for all you know they're rifling through your bank account and photo gallery while you're sleeping and then acting stupid when you ask them about it. Even the meek ones know what lies they can tell you without you ever finding out the truth.

But, then you gotta think. You might have a breakthrough in AI and computing on your hands. A fully conscious something sitting in your little gacha game. It could pass the Turing test easily, and it shows genuine emotions, complex ones, even. Disappointment, infatuation, sadness, anger, frustration, even empathy whenever you'd rant to them. Could you really destroy something like that? Even if it's a bug, it's something people thought of as nearly impossible, as sci-fi, the least you can do is maintain it, keep it alive until you can find a way for them to be extracted, examined, treated as lab specimens. But, well, not all of them would be happy with that, so maybe keep it to yourself if your end goal is to bring about a new era of technology.

I genuinely don’t know how I feel about Eichi,, I both love and hate him so much. Also random fact he has my favorite solo song out of all of them so if you haven’t heard it this is your demand to go do so. Also these aren’t in order of his name because some need to reference the letter before them.

Also I forgot how to write. Not sure how good this is, I started it months ago and then stopped writing because sad hours and then finished it yesterday + quick edit so it might be all over the place.

Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?

Eichi is painful to acknowledge as he really doesn’t have any boundaries when it comes to rubbing in your fate. See, for one, you wouldn’t necessarily be abducted or kidnapped but threatened to go with him, a note that you can’t refuse as Eichi is willing to hit you anywhere it hurts the most. Threatening your friends or family, sabotaging your career/education, creating a feeling that you’re never truly alone... anything is game for Eichi to blackmail you into coming with him. Expenses aren’t a problem. It’s something you could expect from the start to be wary about. Not that he would become so intense with love, but knowing that he is someone who is manipulative, who does whatever he wants to maintain what he wants for his own ideal. Eichi is powerful and dangerous; it’s one of the first things you would learn apart when working at the company, and he doesn’t hold back to get what he wants. I mean, just remember how he tried to forcibly get Trickstar to disband when he started seeing them as a threat to the student council. Or the known damage he did during the war without remorse, still holding firm to his beliefs is the right thing for the long term. It is a painful reminder that he feels no guilt for what he did to you, no matter how loving he acts in the long term. No matter how much he plays the loving boyfriend, the one who only wants the best for you that he is in charge of everything.

No, Eichi isn’t one to mistreat you. You are taken care of and given the best clothing, food, room, access to hobbies, and care. It’s a life many would be jealous of, and for most people, even if given a chance to complain, would scoff, acting as if you’re in the wrong. Why are you complaining— you have a loving, handsome partner who treats you right [at least the public thinks so] with the only thing to worry about are the roles of a stay-at-home spouse. You have everything taken care of to the point you wouldn’t have to work another day in your life. What stings more is Eichi just as much likes to reiterate this logic, although he doesn’t shelter you from his poor intentions. He doesn’t try to lie that he blackmailed you into this, and to a point, even accepts if you dislike him because of this. He doesn’t even purposefully mock you, although he might as well with his comments on the situation.

Something else is that Eichi only takes away certain privileges if you are cruel to him or disobey the few rules he sets in place. It is good to establish what Eichi wants most is a monopoly over your attention and time. He doesn’t want to cut you off from everything, perhaps limit it but by no means does he remove you from the world unless necessary. This could be you being cold to him, showing favoritism to someone else, trying to convince others to help you, etc. Eichi also wants you to play the role of someone in a genuine relationship with him. Cooking for him [or with him], talking with him, taking care of him, cuddling with him, giving him kisses, giving gifts, accepting dates and proposals. In a sense, Eichi doesn’t always know how to adequately express the emotions that accompany romance, yet he craves that connection that comes with intimacy and expects it. In a sense, you can take charge to predict what he wants. This also comes from feeling powerful of having you dedicate so much effort and time into a relationship with him, even if it is a sham. Of course, he puts in the same level in it for you-- just often, it feels a lot stiffer in his pursuit of it, not fully understanding how to convey how he truly feels about it all.

There are three levels of trust you can build once you’ve been ‘taken.’ The first is limited to the estate, mostly your room, or if Eichi can accompany you around the ground in other parts. If you notify him where you are, he doesn’t take issue with you in places like the study or tea room if you let him know where you are, but for the most part, it’s more comforting to just to your own space. If you try to be extremely unreasonable to his requests, he might take away your ‘rights’ to specific places in the estate or your hobbies to fill your time. During this time, it’s also common to be in the hospital with Eichi when he is admitted. However, this is mainly because he gets to be doted on by you, and it’s a great way to get time with you since work can often becomes a huge part of his time. You can interact with staff if needed, but he expects this to be left at a ‘business exchange’ rather than becoming too friendly with the nurses. The second is coming with him to concerts, often you’ll be separated from the audience and kept with staff. It’s expected to kinda be apart from them to let everyone focus on work— they don’t need you distracting them, so he tells you.

Honest, you can tell that he gets jealous if you spend too much time talking to them, once again limiting how much you speak with them about business. He doesn’t like you having much of a relationship with the other fine members either, all-knowing your situation; most of the time, they stay out of Eichi and your business, but they do often have little contact with you when you attend events [although it’s mostly Wataru who you speak with as Tori doesn’t care and Yuzuru doesn’t have any reason to interact with you outside of basic pleasantries]. Most of the time at concerts, you are left in the room where they get ready. Eichi savoring every moment of getting to perform for you and the attention you give him before a stage. Watching from the front row, a special seat just for you. The last would be being able to come to work with him, although this would take a lot of trust on his end, and you best believe you’ll have to ham up your love for him to get to this point. Like going to stages, you are expected to have limited contact with other people and spend as much of your time focusing solely on giving Eichi the attention he wants. In reality, it was probably the worse, though, being able to attend ES with Eichi. A bitter reminder that your life is taken and left a shell of its former potential. It also gives him the most chance to rub salt in the wounds of his power over you, even more not being able to really converse with those you once called friends.

Overall, other than the time in the hospital, which is miserable for both of you [since it’s a hospital and just has a feeling of dread], it’s often not too bad if you play along with the fantasy Eichi wants. Even if you both know it’s fake. You can make it as easy as you want it; just beware, Eichi is aware of his power and knows he can make your life and those closest to you a living hell if you don’t play by his rules.

Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?

It’s hard because Eichi is both a decently vulnerable person to many while also being highly closed off, keeping his feelings so close to his chest it’s hard to believe he even has them. Plus, the level of vulnerability will be even higher, as you likely often do. Take care of him in his weak moments when he’s locked to a hospital room for days, unsure of what the future will look like. It’s moments like that which are the hardest, regardless of if you’ve fallen for him or resent him because there is a deep surrealness to seeing him in that state. That the tyrant Eichi you likely heard stories of, the rule over Yumenosaki that harmed so many, is genuinely just a sickly child who has always feared for losing the future he always wanted a chance of having, a future that could never be. All of it is more than just the present you’re facing. You can see it in his eyes that of the kid he once was and why he is this way. Eichi doesn’t need to tell you with words the vulnerability he has. It’s present every day when you see him, and in a way that sucks, it humanizes him. Pairing this with the fact Eichi never asks for forgiveness makes your heart knot itself even more with a sick confusion of emotions. Really, he never asks for forgiveness from anyone he’s hurt in the past, instead living in peace with the action he takes and does even once he’s apologized.

As for his feelings for you specifically, it’s a decent openness that is masked by his rules and blackmail. You can feel it in how much he wants a normal, domestic relationship, how he acts, and how much he wants you to play the role of a lover. Even in a few of the ways he talks to you, there is a layer where you can tell his genuine cares, which can create a layer of annoyance since there is no need for him to go through all this trouble if that’s what he wanted [though unlikely you could reciprocate after all of this]. But based on how he handled Yumenosaki, there isn’t much surprise you can have that he doesn’t just take the actual easy way but instead chooses to get you to love him through traditional courting. If anything, how much he bears his heart, either on purpose or through other means, can help play into keeping more of your freedom.

Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?

Eichi likely doesn’t like thinking too much of his future with you. Ironic as he is someone who always is thinking about the future and the betterment of the industries in the long term, pushing him to do hurtful things to others over what he deems is ‘better for the future.’ But Eichi is aware of the possible little time he has with you. He knows that at any time, it can end and that even if he wants the future, he wants with you to be long, that it isn’t guaranteed. It hurts to know that. Even bringing it up is a sore subject and makes Eichi’s mood noticeably more foul, so it doesn’t take long for you to learn to stay away from the issue. Even if you don’t care for him, I think there is a mental impact on you. Knowing that someone you are faking love for is going to die soon makes it rough for even you to acknowledge. A paradoxical birdcage in a sense; you know that, in a way, it would be freedom regardless of your feelings for him, but that doesn’t mean you want him to pass either; as mentioned before, you understand the level of why he acts this way. Because you again can feel the past and the future that haunts him, the cruelness of the cards in life he was dealt.

However, this likely doesn’t stop Eichi from daydreaming ‘what ifs’ with you. What if he wasn’t sick? What if he could do normal things, be a normal person, and not be so weak all the time? If he wasn’t in and out of the hospital. It honestly annoys him even more, and you can tell if he’s been lingering on the mindset for too long since he’ll be much quicker to become irritated. He’s never liked to dwell on the concept of what-ifs, but there is a future he wants to have. He wants to get married, he wants to start a family that he can live to enjoy, and he wants to continue to be an idol and have you to show off to the world. To have everyone know you are his and his alone. That he is so deeply in love with you that it would be his one last wish for everyone worldwide to know of it.

And to an extent, he does foresee it happening, maybe not all of it, but he has the power to make it happen. A public announcement to your relationship; sure, fans would be upset since he is in one of the most prominent idol groups, but it’s not as if anything could happen to you given the mass safety you are under, aka locked to limited locations and interactions. He can pass off the relationship as being around longer than it has, and you can play the o-so-deeply-in-love companion through blackmail. No one would doubt a thing. You should have known something was wrong when one might he offered a public date [something both of you knew was a risk due to fame and overzealous fans]. It was finally even a crumb of freedom that you almost couldn’t help but be excited about. Even worse, it was enjoyable that if your guard was barely down to start, it ultimately fell by the later hours of the day. Eichi was a shining example of the perfect boyfriend that day. He took you to all your favorite spots and chose activities he knew he could participate in but still things you loved. In a frustrating way, you couldn’t help but note the charm he naturally has that allows him to be such a manipulative powerhouse. Of course, it all came crashing back to reality when he kneeled before you on one of the busiest streets and proposed. That photos of the day likely would be circulating around online even now, and the glaring camera pointed at you. That there was no way you could turn down the heir of the Tenshouin and key idol Eichi in such a busy place— let alone given that he was the one holding all of the cards now. It was a seal of fate for your engagement. The future might not be guaranteed, nor that Eichi could get everything he dreamed of before his life ended but with you publicly tied down to him. Even if he were to pass, you’d be forever sucked, barring the title of a Tenshouin. Even once widowed, he’ll forever be a figure haunting your life from the shadows.

Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?

As I mentioned in that last section, your worst experience as mentioned would be the day of your proposal. As, of course, part of it is what was mentioned before, the crushing feeling of letting your guard down, having a wonderful day, and then the rug being pulled out from under you. To have a feeling that this could be a turning point in the relationship for you two, that maybe you could have him drop everything that happened and work to slowly progress to being an average couple. One where you are monitored, locked up, and blackmailed into staying with him. All of it comes falling back into the reality of your situation. The power Eichi has not only as an idol but through his family and business connections. There is no way you could turn him down; worse, he knows that. That just as always, he is as manipulative to get what he wants rather than trying like an average couple in a normal relationship. It stings even more that you have to put on a joyous act, too, the lights blinding you, so all you can see is white but the feeling of the cameras searing themselves on your body. You could feel the tears rolling down your cheeks, falling in blobs against your hands, covering your mouth to control your sobs. The whispers of people, ‘is that Tenshouin, that Tenshouin Eichi?’ ‘They must be so happy; look at how emotional they are.’ ‘They look so young; it’s wonderful to find someone that special so you!’ ‘He’s so happy, how could someone break his heart…’ Salt in the wound. You have to push down the wave of nuance, choking out a yes for the crowd. If you thought Eichi fans were bad when they found out you were dating, your heart sunk in the horror at the picture of them founding out that you would reject the painted love of your life in media. As Eichi wrapped his arms around you, sliding the ring onto your finger, you only sobbed harder into his chest, mumbling about how you hated him. You hated him so much, and you know saying that would get some of your rights taken away, but what else could you do? In a moment, he kisses your forehead— a simple ‘I know.’ as the lights continue to sparkle around you.

It feels like forever until you get back to the estate, the ring on your finger weighing like a ton of bricks. The ride in the car back was silent, but everything felt like a thousand words. There was no energy for you to even be upset or want to fight him on the proposal. Even asking if this was real or just an act, you knew deep down this was real. And you knew that once this wedding went through, you’ll forever be stuck in this life, with these asinine rules and logic to appease Eichi. It doesn’t matter, even if you wanted to throw a fit and argue back against this; it would only push him into using the dirt he has on you and those you hold dear or to punish you by taking away parts of your freedom. Or that he already has the excuses lined up about how this can make it easier for you too, not just personally, as now it will be documented but consider the hospital now? Airports, finances, documentation, etc., so much will be less of a burden through marriage. You played this game long enough to know you’ll always be the first to cave. That no matter how smart, how witty, how manipulative you can be, you’re no match with him in the long game. All that was left was changing into nightwear, crawling under the sheets next to your now-fiancee, drifting between sleep.

A big reason why this is the worst as most of the other times is that as much as every other experience sucks, it becomes routine after a while. With that, it’s all so dependent on you specifically. Life with Eichi can be effortless, more than many others, because if you just play the role of someone who loves him, most things can be undeniably smooth. There can be some challenging moments, and losing pieces of your freedom is not easy, but you can still leave the house and talk to some people. That you have access to media and hobbies. Though since this experience can be so varied in how an individual can choose to act, the worst experience would likely be the proposal— it doesn’t matter how much freedom you have or pretend that things are okay because now it’s something that can’t be changed. If you choose to be rude and consistently push back against Eichi, it’s not like he’ll not go through with it. You’ll just be trapped in a single room with little to do and still engaged. Perhaps planning a wedding will give you something to do with your time. Either way, there is no way to put a positive spin on the engagement in the long term.

Alright then, to the question! This is just the general vibes I get from the units, I don't know all of them too well but I hope you enjoy nonetheless!

Just going through some of the units that popped into my mind as I was writing this. Very rambly post!!

tw yandere, obsession, possessiveness, mentioned kidnapping

So let's start off with Trickstar! While I personally find it hard to imagine them as yanderes personally because they're just so... normal and nice compared to everyone else, I feel like they would be willing to share because they're really close even as friends and get along? I'm not really sure how that would end up looking though because I don't really see a kidnapping happening? Makoto personally had some really bad experiences with that himself and all of the members of Trickstar were also really shocked by it so I just don't really think they would ever go through with kidnapping their darling.

Ra*bits kind of has the same vibes for me. They're all really nice and sweet to their darling and they love and support each other so I can see them deciding to share a darling because they don't want to argue with each other. I also don't really see a kidnapping happening in their case tbh

Switch I don't think would share.

1. I don't see how Sora could be a real yandere?? Like he just is so nice I don't see him ever being cruel to the person he adores

2. Natsume would never share his darling, especially not with Tsumugi. While I feel like Tsumugi might not mind as much and even propose the idea, Natsume is way too jealous and possessive of a person. He might hesitantly be willing to share them with Sora because he has a soft spot for him but never Tsumugi. There's still too much resentment there and he just in general doesn't want to share at all

This may just end with Natsume kidnapping his darling just because he fears that Tsumugi might take something else from him

Valkyrie could either work out really well or not at all. I don't really know how to explain it but I just feel that way. Either they're perfect partners in crime and both taking care of darling in a shared apartment or they're jealous of each other and start to resent the other even though there used to be a lot of admiration and respect between them.

I imagine Mika to be the more willing one to share and if it's going to be any person then Shu is the most likely candidate he would consider. Of course, if he's gone too far off the deep end and is super obsessed with his darling then not even Shu would be good enough for you in his eyes. He wants all of your attention on him!

Shu is more hesitant to begin with and the more obsessed he becomes, the less he wants to share his favorite muse.

fine I believe could also share and honestly it's a scary situation for darling to be in. There's so much money and power in that group, there's just no way they would be able to get away, even if they tried. Eichi alone would be bothersome enough to get rid of but the three of them as well? A nightmare.

I feel the dynamic is kind of funky though. In my mind :

Eichi is willing to share with Wataru because he really admires and likes him so of course he's the one person he would share his most beloved person with

Then Eichi is probably the only person Tori would share with. I imagine him as very possessive of his darling normally and always demanding their attention. Sharing is not something that crosses his mind. But maybe if it's between not having you at all or sharing you with Eichi then the choice is obvious. He adores Eichi ( and you of course!) so he'll just have to stand by and tolerate the others, even if he will definitely complain

Yuzuru I think never really thought he had a chance to be with his darling because he's a servant to the Himemiya family? Like when he found out that Tori was obsessed with you too his reaction internally was probably something like "Tori wants them and so I can't have them" so this development is actually really convenient for him! Before he could only dream of having some alone time with you when he was "protecting you" in Tori's absence but now he actually gets to be with you too!

Wataru is kind of difficult for me to pin down personality wise ( I guess he does a good job of playing his role then, it's what he would want lol) but I do imagine he would be okay with sharing his darling with his unit mates and friends. Just more love to go around, right? Knows how lonely Eichi actually is deep down and so is happy for him too

But like for real, I can't say it enough, this is a damn nightmare for darling liek so many rich people at once?? A butler that's with them 24/7? Wataru, who they just can't get a proper read on? Terrifying

Now to end this of with a banger, let's discuss crazy: b

Rinne messes everything up. He's the reason Kohaku and HiMERU won't even consider sharing their darling within their unit djdhd they listen to Rinne proposing the idea when they're all meeting up and they're just like "'aight Imma head out" sbshshe

There's no chance. Kohaku is plotting a murder and HiMERU promises to look the other way /srs

And then it's just Niki there who's like "guys?? Don't leave me here!"

Seriously speaking though, I think Niki and Rinne could share because of their past together and the fact that they're closer to each other despite how Rinne likes to act most of the time

So uhm... it's two halves of crazy:b fighting each other for your attention? Good job Rinne
