It's been a month and a half and I'm still not even over Cassy yet, idk how I'm supposed to live with my uncle being dead too

I don't have time for people who don't have time for me

#yes yes i know adult life leaves little room for spending time with people who you care about & even if we have time we're burnt out #but my whole adult life has been white-knuckled clinging to relationships or people that barely if ever send that energy back #as soon as theyre onto the next person that will entertain them. as soon as theyve found something to fill the time that i usually take up #as soon as theyve gotten all they wanted from me emotionally. as soon as its inconvient to see me. almost as soon as theyre bored #then suddenly its me waiting for a text. waiting for a day to hang out. hearing over and over again that yet another thing is more importan #than me. and i get it. life happens. schools important. work is important. rest is important. but at the point im at in my life #im looking for people who actually make an effort not just give months and months of excuses as to why they suddenly cant hang out #im a pushover. im easy-going. im a very understanding person. i get it bc theres also very few days per week that im free to socialize #but i cant keep letting myself act subservient to everyone else in my life. i always put my friends & potential friends so high on pedestal #i treat them & their time as precious. now i refuse to let someone do anything but the same for me. my time/energy/love is just as precious #i dont deserve only a text when you need something from me or just to act as a treat to tide me over until the next transgression #and i certainly am NOT going to be the person that you can stand-up and then expect to still answer your text. not anymore.#in prioritizing my mental health lately ive realized that this pattern HAS TO STOP. i cant allow myself to continue the same harmful cycles #i deserve better. i need better. i WANT BETTER #emma vents #vent tag #healing tag

tired of the "hate sex" trope being more of a "they-think-they-hate-each-other-but-they-find-out-they-dont." no they still hate each other, theyre just fucking now

I mean to each their own. I personally like enemies to lovers trope, but at the same time I don’t want them to turn into a lovey dovey couple the second they reached the ‘lovers’ phase. I still want them to be rough to each other, I want them to be possessive, but they can be gentle to each other in some rare, precious, private moments where they realize they can be gentle and vulnerable around each other. doesn’t mean they will stop being violent to each other the next day, doesn’t mean they’re no longer enemies, just that in these rare moments where no one else can see them, they can allow themselves to be ‘gentle and vulnerable’. do they hate each other? yes. but I also want them to love each other and hate themselves for loving the other, or at least they can’t live without the other. I want their relationship to be complicated where they hate each other, but at the same time they also love each other so profoundly that they cannot live without each other

no, I wouldn’t want them to fuck just for the sake of fucking. that’s shallow and meaningless, and quite frankly, pointless in my opinion. one can fuck anybody without it meaning anything. I want there to be deep layers of forbidden, complicated feelings between them. I want them to be soulmates where their souls would always find each other in every universe, every lifetime, even though they’re archenemies. I want their blood to run and mingle together. I want them to always come crawling back to each other. but yeah, that’s just my personal preference.

usually i dont post this kinda yap on tumblr but i have GOT to yap rn

what is it with the spooky month fandom and being so infantilizing towards roy. he is a bully. hes emotionally unstable, bratty, and aggressive to the point even his own friends are fed up. yes, hes cute! i love calling him cute and "my baby." yes, he can be nice sometimes, he can be funny, his heart is in the right place under the assholery. but the extent to which people mischaracterize him as a "sweet soft boy who must be protected!!!! the precious bean!! 🥺🥺" is actually infuriating. which leads me to wonder, how come ross and robert arent treated this way by the community?? theyre much nicer than roy is (with a reasonable degree of teenage stupidness). i wholeheartedly believe that the reason SOME people baby roy so much is because he was sexually abused, and so they perceive him as weak. the amount of genuinely disrespectful and infantilizing scenarios ive seen people make with drawings and writing about roy's sexual abuse trauma is ASTOUNDING. just saying, if ur like 13 and are not a victim nor are you properly educated, dont go around making corny "angst" content about such a serious subject matter. and just in general lets gain some media literacy and stop mischaracterizing morally gray characters before i lose my MIND.

Octo and Ellie having the same body language is so real, I love them, have I told you that? They are so very dear to me

Spidercrab poor long-legged man, he got yeeted out of his area (medicine) and almost died! Who takes care of the medic when he's down? Himself? Who is someone capable of treating injured if not the medic? Maybe Seafom? Ellie? Tuna? Coco???

Tuna being scared and in awe at the same time is so very him I love him. On one side "she can transform into a gigant somehow and didn't tell anybody, she doesn't inspire me trust, also, what else can she do that we dont know about? She's dangerous.", on the other "she could have used this against us and didn't, she isn't that bad... right?"

The fact that Tuna cares so much about the crew safety is so <3 knowing he doesn't have a nice past among people... Like, the "people hurted me badly, but I see you're different. Im trying my best to be friendly, but I dont know how to do this. Im new to not being treated like garbage by others." he has going on is so precious to me. He really cares about this guys. It's really sweet that he has people who care for him and who he cares for. He struggles with them and he isn't the best to be around to, but... just look at him, he's trying! He's healing! He is such a nice character WAAAAAH. He was a jerk, for sure, and a meanace, and no-one wanted him nearby, but he ended up caring so very much to the point of "is she a treat to the crew?". He probably won't admit it never-ever, but still I love that algae-brained boy <3

Hmm.. that's actually a good question.. who does take care of Spidercrab when he's down? I wanna say Ellie would be the backup medic. Since she isn't a fighter and has a caring heart deep down, I can see her learning how to patch up the crew.. it's possible she isn't as good a medic as Spider, but I'm sure she'd be qualified to care for him/anyone who needs it :00

And yes yes! Deep down Tuna does care for his crew and assume the best of them. He's just got a lot of psychological defenses to break down before he can really open up to them. <:)

OK SO. i think im a little..? dissapointed..? abt sider order?? like im kinda conflicted abt the lore, also i suck BALLS at the game

the thing is i have done 5 runs so far AND COULDNT GET A SINGLE WIN. the most i can do is up to floor 20.... im literally so bad at this game I ONCE DIED 2 TIMES IN AN EASY LEVEL. im newgen guys.

maybe im not fit for rougelike games but like... idk. i feel like me and the fandom as a whole expected so much more from side order. i feel like if the game is gonna make you replay the same stuff over and over again it should atleast have a SOUL CRUSHING LITERARY MASTERPIECE TYPE OF LORE like OE and Alterna

AND CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW DIRTY THEY DID FOUR???? literally called them an irrelavent loser and then sweeped them aside... THEY DONT EVEN HAVE A PALETTE ICON???? theyre not even a secret boss smh.... agent 4 had so much potential I WILL NEVER FORGIVE NINTENDO FOR THIS. and like sure the parallel canon level kind of includes four but that thing is literally an npc??? like imagine what they couldve done with the story if they had included four in it:

when four is left out from the squidbeak splatoon they try to prove themselves by siding with marina with her project. it makes perfect sense. marina and four are both scared of being seperated by their loved ones. but four gets consumed by their anger and jealousy and goes full order mode LIKE DO YOU GUYS SEE MY VISION!!!! i will be forever mad that we didnt get this.

also why is murch out of all the chracters have a pallete??? why didnt they put in captain 3 or something????? sheldon i kinda understand since hes also kinda a part of the squidbeak splatoon BUT MURCH??? get the fuck out!!!

negative stuff aside tho. i love pearl and marina so much. THIS IS THE PEARLINA GAME GUYS!!!!! pearl literally mentions that marina and her sleep in the SAME BED???? marina is so autistic. my little autism creature. SHE MAKES DINO ARMS IN THE ENDING SCENE AUGHHHHHGHHH MY HEARTTT i love marina so much AND PEARL. SUCH A SILLY GOOBER. acht is so precious too... BUT I CNAT BELIEVE THAT THEY MADE THEM WHITE*??? ACHT IS NOT WHITE NINTENDO. anyways i love eight and her little found family full of lesbians. they are all lesbians your honor. we are raising lesbians in this house.

so yeah. i hope i can finish the run atleast ONCE. but like. idk i havent finished the game but side order jsut makes me feel. sad... and lonely...?? unlike octo expension where you could see more and more people using the metros and the chatrooms between marina and pearl are just AUUGGHHH OE IS A GAME. ABOUT CONNECTIONS OK. it makes me feel warm and happy and even though eight became traumatized i like to think that she healed and in the process met so many important people in her life.

in side order i dont see anything in eight*??? is she traumatized??? is she vibing??? is she happy to help??? I LITERALLY CANT TELL. side order makes me feel so cold and empty like do you guys understand what i mean. and its probably becasue it doesnt even take place in the real world. and the thing is. i understand that side order is supposed to be everything that OE couldnt be. i understand that. both games have their own quirks BUT. i just cant seem to make myself love it unlike any other story mode in splatoon...... im really trying to be not biased here but yeah. these are my opinions for side order

HELLO. so yes i somehow managed to win the game. and honestly. the final boss was pretty fun and everyone was so cute at the end omg... but i still think that side order is a bit underdevloped.... i dont even know if ill try to %100 is cuz playing it makes me SO STRESSFUL im glad i get to finish a run BUT i will definetly not be touching side order atleast for a while.... but despite i had plenty of stuff i didnt like in side order the ending managed to make me forget all that haha

Kiriko Jealousy Headcanons (some NSFW)

A/N: this sat unfinished in my notes for a while so i went ahead and finished it up to feed you guys. im working on some kirihana content (as well as other requests) in the meantime. ngl ive been pretty busy, so i apologize for any inactivity, but i promise more stuff is slowly getting done. enjoy!

• Kiriko is pretty mature and, generally, knows how to keep to herself when someone’s hitting on you. Especially if theyre actually respectful upon you rejecting them.

• And when it comes to your closeness with friends, she’s extremely lenient. She only asks that she knows where you are, but she never hovers you. She 100% trusts you.

• However, there have been times where someone had rudely insisted on getting your number, taking you out, etc. And in these instances, Kiriko isn’t so distant.

• For one, Kiriko enjoys holding you close. An arm around your back and her hand on your hip? She does this often. A quick kiss on the cheek? Holding your hand? Calling you “babe” or “precious?” All of the above.

• When things get more tense, though, Kiriko drops the sweet form of asserting herself.

“Sorry, but Y/N’s taken.” Kiriko held you flush against her with each of her hands on your hips. You shuddered as you felt her breath ghosting over the back of your neck with each word she murmured. “She’s not interested.”

• And Kiriko is hardly possessive, but that doesn’t mean she can’t be. Little acts like holding you by the hips or kissing you with a hand holding your chin always get you flustered. And she sure as hell enjoys little things that make her feel in more control over you.

• This is only 20% of the time. 60% of the time, when someone bothers you, she opts for the kiss on the cheek and a sweet nickname. That tends to ward anyone off.

• And the other 20%? Well, Kiriko has it taken care of before you even walk out the door.

• Kiriko loves marking you behind closed doors. Loves it. And depending on the events of a certain day, she’ll most definitely leave them in spots you can’t hide without a turtleneck.

• If she’s simply feeling romantic, Kiriko leaves marks on your chest and collarbone. Subtle bruises, but nothing crazy.

• If there’s been a guy talking to you that she’s wary about, though, or maybe somebody bothered you that day that she had to ward off, then you best believe she’s taking out her possessiveness on you.

You let out a sharp gasp as Kiriko pressed you against the bedroom door, fingers intertwined and breathing heavy. Your quick breathing quickly turned into a soft, blissfull moan, feeling Kiriko immediately press her face into the crook of your neck.

Her cheek brushed against yours as her tongue dragged its way along your jawline, slowly travelling down the side of your throat and eventually stopping just above your collarbone. Only a moment passed before you felt her teeth gently and lewdly press into your skin.

You keened and arched into her, and she only responded with a growl as she pressed your hands further up against the wall. The bite lasted just a few seconds and Kiriko finished it off with a gentle lick as she let go. She then kissed her way back up your neck and brought her lips to your ear.

“You’re mine, kichō.” She purred, her voice shockingly low already and giving away her arousal. “And I’m gonna make sure they know from now on. Okay?”

You could only nod as she nipped at your ear, eliciting a shaky whine from your lips. As the taller woman continued, you dutifully surrendered, exposing your throat with the raise of your chin and closing your eyes.

• The marks left behind the following morning always make Kiriko grin like an idiot. You try to be annoyed, but can’t help but find it a little hot that Kiriko chooses to assert herself this way. You also, oddly enough, find it somewhat cute with how proud of herself she gets.

• And whenever you tease her about her jealousy, she typically ends up fingering you numb. Overstimulation is a big yes when you relentlessly taunt her.

Aww look at you now…that pretty little face, all flustered just for me. Listen to yourself baby…you were so cocky just seconds ago. What happened, Y/N? Do my fingers feel that good? Yeah? Do me a favor and scream who you belong to, sweetheart. Just for me.

Just here because I was thinking. Is Tigerclaw's Fury axed in BB? On another note, and this is me just rambling, I actually thought it was a pretty decent book, to get a feel of what Tigerclaw thought and how he acted when he was booted. I kind of wish they did more antagonist books. My only real gripe is that Mapleshade had no business being there and interfering. Like, It should have just been him. Maybe even Thistleclaw if they had to, but it would be better if it was all just his choice.

Eh, there's parts I like and parts I don't. It's better than most, simply because it's actually fun to be in Tigerclaw's head because he is SOOO petty. I love his cunty ass.

"Yes Jaggedtooth made me leader. No he cannot be my deputy because he needs to learn I don't owe him shit" King behavior

But it is very annoying that Mapleshade was made into the Satan of Warriors. Of all the demons, why her? She has such a good, clear gimmick-- She Haunts Applekin. That's It. Why does she need to be behind every evil thing?

(The answer is because the writers basically see evil as a broad nebulous thing and are allergic to having consistent motivations for their villains besides Killing Murder And Elder Abuse unless theyre gonna pull a DOTC but. Sip.)

TF is not axed in BB, but it is massively reworked. This time, it is actually Firestar's perspective...... in StarClan. He, as a ghost, tries to channel Tigerstar after his double death to gleam any answers about him, to find out what made him so evil, so horrible.

What he finds is... nothing. He gets to experience every thought behind every action Tigerstar ever took, and sees he was normal. He loved his mom. He thought about his kids a lot. He was filled with the same kind of jealous spite for Redtail that Dustpelt had for Fireheart way back in the day, and that he felt bad when Spottedleaf died. He was fearful, lonely, angry a lot, but it's not particularly inhuman/noncatlike.

He finds NOTHING, and in that absence, there were allies. Tigerstar wasn't special. There were dozens of people just like him, who coalesced around his broad shoulders and big speeches.

The real horror of Tigerstar is this; anyone with white teeth and enough ambition could have been him. That he was going to happen, and had occured before, as Brokenstar, as Oakstar. If Tigerstar had died as a kit, Runningnose would have still been there, and Blackstar, and Leopardstar, and even Darkstripe and Dustpelt and Longtail. Who would have been Thistleclaw's apprentice instead?

Heroics are precious and unique. But evil... evil is banal.
