Sanji had developed such a devotion for you that it was even weird for the others not to see him simping for every woman that crossed his way, but it was also comforting seeing him receive back all the dedication and love he expressed. Though, it was annoying how he wouldn’t shut up about you sometimes; every single thing managed to remind him of you, and send him into a spiral of chaos. In fights, it would be rather good that someone brought your name up—he would do whatever he could not to leave you alone at the end of the day—, Zoro could already see their enemy dead whenever they happened to mention you.
With all of this taken on account, it was no new Sanji would do absolutely anything for his lover. His boundaries weren’t exactly clear, that way. A lot of conversation was needed to solve this and reassure him that you wouldn’t leave just because he told you that he wasn’t okay with something, and thankfully evolved into the harmony you had today.
Nonetheless, it was still a little difficult to offer new things to Sanji without always knowing clearly if he would accept it because he really wanted it or because he just wanted to make you happy. He could notice something bothered you every single time, on the other hand, of course; Sanji read you like a book. It was the main reason you were sort of avoiding him today—avoiding handling his sad worried face trying to figure out what was wrong with you, even more when it was a stupid situation. Like today.
The idea was very fucking good, though it was maybe just a little awkward, in your mind. You weren’t ready to have your little mental imagines killed down so easily. Why did he have to be so hot, anyways?
Sanji suddenly showed up on the deck, looking around until his eyes softened at your sight, and waltzed over with his hands clasped together. A kiss was pressed to your cheek once he was close enough. “(Y/n), baby, what’s wrong? Are you falling sick? Are you hungry? Do you need a hug? I’ve barely seen the light of my life today!” He took a seat next to you on the stairs.
“Sorry, San!! No, no, there’s nothing wrong at all!” You shook your head frantically, pulling him for a tight hug he immediately melted in—he didn’t deserve to feel bad because of a stupidity of yours, a tempest in a teapot. “I’ve just... been thinking.”
There was a short moment of silence before he sat up properly to look at you, taking both of your hands in his. “About what? Did I do anything to hurt you, mon amour?”
“I— No, of course not, you never did!” You brought your hands up to give his knuckles a little kiss. “Sanji, y’know you can always refuse to do stuff and let me know how you feel about anything, right?” The little pout you received in response had you raising an eyebrow inquiringly.
“Yes, my love!” Sanji squeezed your hands. “I know you’re very understanding of everything! I couldn’t be luckier!” Reacting to his pampering was a rollercoaster—sometimes you’d feel your ego burst, sometimes feel like you didn’t deserve it, but you’d never give it up, no matter what.
Your eyes flickered over his form for a long moment, watching Sanji throw his nose in the air with a grin, an expression that was exchanged for a curious one at how you let go of one of his hands so you could reach into your pocket. “Would you try it on?” In your hand, there was a tube of... of what? Sanji furrowed his eyebrows before he reached for it curiously, uncapping it. Oh. Dark red lipstick—it almost sent his cheeks burning in the same tone. “You can always say no—”
“Of course I would, mon amour! Anything for you!” Sanji had that stupid smile on his face as he put his cig aside and rolled the lipstick until just enough pointed out, and looked at himself through the small mirror on the top of the cap.
Well, shit. Was he just being impulsive or did he really mean it? “Sanji, you don’t need to...” Your words faded at the sight of the blond just putting on the lipstick. He smacked his lips together before turning to you with a smirk. That really was... something. It wasn’t a sight you were used to, of course, so it would take you a while of observing so you could finally decipher whether you liked it or not. “It is... Um, you look...”
Sanji chuckled lowly, letting his strands fall more over his face. “Well, my love, I’m not quite wearing it for the looks, no! It’s for a much more honorable reason!”
“And that would be...?”
His lips met your cheek before you could even finish. He didn’t even stop there, continuing to press kisses to your face until his lips crashed against yours, a desperate kiss that demanded more from you. You could taste the sweet lipstick on the kiss.
“Sanji...” You sat there dumbfounded while he ran the lipstick over his lips again. What the hell was that? Not that it was bad, no—it hard your heart skipping beats and your mind all fuzzy.
Sanji pressed kisses all over your jaw, trailing down to your neck, and even daring to stain the collar of your shirt. “Hm? What, mon chéri? Cat got your tongue?” His lips ticked against your skin, but all you could do in response was to spill out some incoherent words breathlessly, barely able to even hold onto his shoulders for support, looking at the sky, though staring at the nothing. He pulled away just enough to meet your eyes and blinked with an innocent air that would trick anyone who didn’t know him any better, and also those smeared lips—you wouldn’t be surprised if he just straight up killed you at some point. You were just collapsed back, with edges of the higher steps of the stairs digging into you back, and his arms wrapped around your torso, and you didn’t even fucking know when that happened.
A chuckle came from Sanji before he could continue what he was doing, his lips pressing butterfly kisses up and down your neck before they started getting longer, lingering over your skin with sucks and nibbles. It felt as if he couldn’t be close enough to you, as if he’d never get enough of you. His mouth reached a particular spot that compelled your hands to wrap around the fabric of his shirt tightly whilst you fought against the sound that threatened to escape your throat, pressing your eyes shut.
“Where is he...” A voice said, a voice that didn’t belong to you nor to Sanji, but it wouldn’t be a problem, right? They— “What the fuck are you two doing?! Don’t you even have enough decency to get a bedroom?!! You’re even letting the goddamn food burn!!!” Zoro stood there, having you jumping and pulling away from each other the moment he started fucking shouting.
Not like you could get your thoughts straight properly to react in time, hence you sort of sat there, blushing at how you were caught, but also at how you kept replaying the recent events in your mind in an attempt to process everything.
“Mon Dieu, the food!” Sanji gasped, immediately pushing himself up to his feet. “I’m sorry, mon amour! I’ll be back later!”
“Look at your state!” Zoro continued shouting. “What do you think you’re doing to let food burn just because you want some kisses, you ero-cook?!”

Can you share more about the planar belt wip?
yes!! it's Davenport-centric. the basic idea started what I put on the tags of this post just now— like, there is no way barry and lup could have made these belts with only the intention of fucking up greg grimaldis. bc i think that was part of their goal, but it might have started as "wouldn't it be funny?" and turned into "wait, shit, this might actually be helpful."
my hc about story and song is that part of the reason it worked is not only bc the Faerûn planar system heard it, but every single plane the hunger consumed also heard it. the original plane the hunger started on had the same mindset as john, sure, but just being amassed into this bigger being doesn't mean your world has given up hope. they just needed that extra nudge to fight back.
and because of this, the twosun plane also heard story and song. so not only are lup and barry trying to reach out to that world, but the world is trying to reach out to them. the goal originally, i think, was just that davenport deserved to get a Fucking Raise, thank you. but now it's just...
there is so much life unexplored there. I'm still trying to figure out how time passed when a plane is inside the hunger, bc time standing still doesn't feel powerful enough, but i love exploring the dynamics within lucretia's and magnus's family originally, and 100 years plus some is a little too long for those family members to still be around.
im thinking more like— extended living? it was shitty inside the hunger, but they also just kinda stopped aging. or aged very, very slow. idk! it's a work in progress for a reason sldfsdf
but the main points are 1) reexploring the lost time between family/freinds they left behind 2) rounding out dav's character a little more and 3) just like... the healing between the crew. some of them have people to go back to. some of them don't. i really wanna flesh out part of why the stolen century was so hard and that's just because they truly didn't know what was happening once a planar system joined the hunger. but now they have the chance to know!
but yeah :3 thank u for ur interest lsdkfsdf. it's a heavy wip rn but progressing is Going, even if it's slow

happy birthday yuka! (hope she and esora enjoy the view!)
(rambling under the cut because the tags cannot contain my love for them--)
the flowers are there for a reason not just bc roses mean romance and yuka is compared to a sunflower. those roses are rosebuds and they mean pure and lovely (w red ones) while the sunflowers are dwarf sunflowers and they mean adoration and love. i chose those because the roses are like how their love is pure and lovely yk? how pure this moment is of esora just. looking at yuka. the sunflowers are bc of esora comparing yuka to them and how esora is looking at yuka w so much love and adoration it's cute ok?
the outfits are from the esora birthday drawing and this is a follow up to it! i was supposed to make a comic but i dont have time so i'll tell u how it was supposed to go: they finished the ferris wheel ride and esora wanted to show yuka something on top of the rooftop of a nice tall building. when they arrived it coincidentally (esora asked the staff) fired off fireworks at the exact moment yuka went close to the railing to see the view. yuka was surprised and turned to look at esora to ask her abt the display only to see her abt to take a picture of her.
also yeah esora hasnt taken the photo in the drawing, this is at the moment she is about to do it but still looking at yuka, taking in the beautiful she had so perfectly set up. the firework behind yuka is supposed to make her look like the sun is right behind her or she is the sun herself, it makes it look like she is the center of attention and that she deserves all of the adoration and love esora is giving her. (also because the sunflowers are looking right at her)
something about how yuka always captures the greatest moments around her of landscapes and the things around her but not herself, so esora choosing and trying to capture hers is like she's saying "you deserve your best moments to be seen as well". or something.... i DONT KNOW!!!
the flowers being around and the whole composition is inspired by yuhki kamatani's work on shounen note and our dreams at dusk! i recommended checking our their work! it's so good especially if you love visuals! (their work is so beautiful...)
another thing that inspired this drawing was the last scene of my summer with you (a manga by nagisa furuya!) where one of the main characters takes a picture of the other without him or with him knowing (idk it's been a while) behind this pretty view. the manga actually inspired me a lot when i read it to draw yukaeso related stuff (mostly because of the summer focus nothing else) so i felt it was right to put a reference to it in this drawing!
the flowers were taken from pictures and ripped out to be used for the drawing yes. was it worth it? yes. would i do it again? yes very much.
i chose fireworks NOT because of the fact esora has this weird thing of being gay when there are fireworks but it just makes sense to watch a firework display after a ferris wheel ride, you know? (i wanted this to originally be the trope where one of them will say "look at the beautiful view!" and the other, looking at them, will say "yeah it is" but EUGHGHGHHHG I GOT EMBARRASSED AND I DIDNT WANT TO DRAW A COMIC WHERE EVERYTHING IS HIGH QUALITY--)
also another reason is because in ao to natsu (original not yuka's cover) there's a firework sound effect in one part of the song and since yuka covered it it made sense to make a reference to it as well!
i learned a lot on how to choose colors and stuff with this drawing, im proud of it! (i have yet again evolved my drawing abilities w yukaeso lol--)

i assume the gang rape anon is talking about is in the Tenth Hot Spring when Bentinck serviced a bunch of dudes to seal a deal for William. i would find it kind of difficult to describe it as that... but tbh, yeah, it would have been incredibly hard for him to say no. in any case, so sorry to tell you this anon but there are no perfect victims in this AU! he never sees it as rape because he thinks he deserves it, and because he does enjoy it at times. his whole image as an Ally under an Overlifer kind of relies on that. and while i'll tag it properly, i'm not going to sanitize or sugarcoat it as it's a huge part of his character arc. he doesn't think he's allowed to say no or have boundaries, so he won't! in this society i think it would be hard to find a "perfect victim." i wouldn't say he enjoyed kissing William's father as a boy, he just thinks he did. obv we don't get to see much of it in Dona Dona bc it's from William's POV. but even then, as an adult, he stills sees it as an honor. AGAIN, part of his whole arc of how he views himself, the religion, and his role in it. that event is kind of the starting point of that, it was put there for a reason and not bc i actually think kids can consent/enjoy assault! in my experience, they can think they did. here again, the perfect victim narrative does not always reflect reality.

[Marauders rant moment]
I hate the way this Fandom treats <young> Peter Pettigrew. It's so insufferable.
I absolutely live laugh love the boys, and i survive on the dopamine this Fandom gives me, but let's be real here, the marauders were just a bunch of insufferable popular teenage boys who spent their days causing chaos and were kind of these 'elite' students. If they were real and they had been with any of us in school, we would honestly just be so done with them and roll our eyes whenever they're braught up.
Peter was the black sheep of the group, ironically enough. He was the quiet one of a very loud bunch. And if the marauders were constantly erupting fireworks, Peter was nothing but the little 'pshhht' sound after the boom. He was not as attractive as they were, granted that James, remus and Sirius are portrayed as greek gods. He was not fit for the 'beauty standards' (im not gonna get into the fact that the Fandom collectively agreed to make him like this when they could've possibly, like they did many others, just alter his looks and make him more conventionally good looking, at the end of the day this fandom's main structure is perspective).
He and remus do share the same 'quiet kid' aspect, but whereas remus was given a background story and a tragic personality, Peter is always painted in a very one-dimensional way. In every single fanfic, he is either the bad guy, the homophobic guy, or just a background nuance.
Thing is, we could easily change that as a Fandom that does not have the word 'canon' in their dictionary, however we always chose to villanize him. And don't get me wrong, Peter does canonically become the villain, but no one is born bad. Villains are made by so many altering factors in their life.
All the other marauders got to date one of the girls at some point more or less (and depending on the fics) like the very popular sirius-Mary thing, obviously james-lily and sometimes even Remus-Marlene / past remus-lily. But no one ever gave Peter a second glance. Authors always 'invent' him girlfriends and OCs to date if they were kind enough to give him any sort of storyline at all.
Peter became a villain, yes, but he was once an innocent kid as any. He had a bright future ahead of him. He may have had hopes and dreams and secret crushes, and I hate to see that no one ever takes a second to consider it.
Peter is always faulted in fics for wanting a normal life. A normal job, a normal house in a normal place with a normal middle class life. He never was for all that explosive chaos. And everyone shamed him for it. Because sirius is a runaway with abusive parents, a very dark past and a rebellious soul, remus is a werewolf is a tragic past, no parents and absolutely nothing to lose, and James is a sunshine with a beautiful home life but a secretly crippling self esteem. Peter was just a simple boy from a simple household and trust me I couldn't tell you more because I wouldn't know. Nothing about him is clear. He's just always portrayed as a villain to be but this shouldn't be some kind of bridal shower. This is a boy who just wanted to be loved.
Maybe it's my savior complex talking, or the stick-up-for-the-underdog mentality I've got, but Peter deserved so much better than this.
There's this one fic (I didn't read it when I saw the 'petter Pettigrew is a bad person' tag) but the name really put me into perspective for a second. It's called ''the sun, the stars, the moon, and Peter''. How crushed i was when I read it.
I've always been a Pete apologist (not apologist for what he did, but more of an apologist for the person he was before he wasn't anymore.) And it just destroyed me.
In this fic there is a quote (i saw it in a tt video)
''James was always described as the sun, sirius was the stars, Remus was the moon. Where does that leave peter? He is like the meteors. Not important, but he can destroy all of them if he wants.'' CHILLS.
Tell me why do you think the betrayal hurt that much? Was it because Peter was just a background character in their lives or because he TRULY MEANT SOMETHING. to ALL of them?!?!?
Start thinking from this pov, and then build your fics, draw your fanarts (AND PLS INCLUDE HIM) and do whatever else you want.
Justice for Peter Pettigrew. He's human too.
[Edited]: I would like to make it clear that this isn't about Peter *in the marauders universe*. It's about how the fans portrait him. I'm only talking about the way authors of fics make him so one dimensional and give him no depth or plot line, and the way he is treated as a character.
I changed some of the things I've said in the rant, because someone did make me aware that i had offended them with what is said, and i sincerely hope this doesn't happen again.

Things don't have to have substance, bunch of straight shit has no substance and is still entertaining at the very least. BL should be allowed have masterpieces and... the direct opposite. Not everything has to be a work of art and it's fine for it to not be.
Not sure what the context for you hating KP is (I don't follow you and this showed up in the KP tag), but the actors can actually act and have great onscreen chemistry and that's why I personally enjoyed the show despite the flaws it has in addition to the Meta the fandom produced and the engagement the creative team allowed for the audience to have.
Can't say most of BL shows produced and their team + fandom can come up with the things the KP fandom has or had put in the effort/complexity the KP creative team has.
Most BLs have the most mediocre actors paired with the most lackluster scripts so, at least for me, it was a gem. Also, I'd been waiting for it for 2 years before it came out. *shrugs* It was different, it was mature, it stepped out of the university setting I was so mind numbingly tired of.
Sorry fandom ruined it for you. It was, for me, one of the most engaging fandoms since ITSAY and Not Me and for that, I personally liked it despite its various shortcomings.
hi anon! first of all! my main problem isn't that kp doesn't have substance per se. i agree wholeheartedly that bls should have amazing, complex, mind blowing shows but also allow room for more silly and turn-your-brain-off kinda series and everything in between. we as queer people deserve the same range of shows and reps as cishets get in their own television, but my issue with kp is that people keep acting like it was a revolutionary show. it was not! it could've been, for sure. i expected it to be, and i'll be honest and say i was completely let down by the end result because i, too, waited over 2 years for it to come out, i was really excited because i adore apo and the premise of the story seemed fantastic, but alas, amidst all the troubles this production went through, the final product did not survive and we ended up with a show much different from that very first 9 minute "teaser" that made us all enthralled in what apo and mile could offer.
to me, kp had so much potential to be a great, thought-provoking, mature show that completely deviated from everything we've been used to in thai bls, but what came of it was a contradictory plot with many many plotholes and characters that didn't make sense or added anything to the story. apo is a good actor, and so is mile, but none were phenomenal or oscar worthy as some of you try to make them out to be, and the rest of the cast was mediocre. the production crew had many issues too and the vp actors are two shitbags im not gonna waste my time on.
like. fine!!!! you can enjoy kp i don't mind!!!! just please stop putting it on this pedestal as if it was the best thing in the world. be realistic pls. it *is* exciting that it offered something totally new to the thai bl scene, yes, but that by itself doesn't grant it a gold star. the show *was* lackluster and we all know it could've been so much better had they followed that original teaser. or, hell, focused more on the actual story than on those saturated sex scenes.
as for the fandom. well. i have a lot of bones to pick with like 90% of the people who engage with kp content, but i do admit some beautiful fan work came out of it that deserves praise. but overall, a very much braindead fandom by the stuff i've come across. again, it's not like there was a lot to work with considering the changes they made to the plot (like the house porsche and his brother live in, which does not add up to the situation they are living in, when in the original teaser they lived in a very small apartment.) and most of the show was just a display of hot men that i was personally not interest in, but the lack of critical thinking and the will to overlook serious problems and situations for the sake of finding actors attractive was honestly baffling. when kinn >sexually assaulted< a drugged porsche, people thought it was cute. when vegas drugged porsche and attempted rape, he was a little meow meow. when vegas, again, kept being completely awful and disgusting with porsche and then proceeded to torture pete, it was a love story. when accusations came out that pete's actor had done terrible things, no one gave a shit because y'all are much more interested in seeing men fuck than in the wellbeing of those who he hurt. like wake the fuck up, what's wrong with you all? shows are allowed to be complex and problematic, my complaint is not that. i don't care that vegas is vile and that kinn is flawed, but i do care about how you people willingly excused their behaviours for vanity. i swear petev3gas girlies are the most repulsive people i've ever seen and i hate each and every one of them with a burning passion. it's fucking hilarious actually how many maaaaany of them are all very anti-th4rntype and m3w and "sexual violence is terrible!!!!" but were so very quick to turn the blindest of eyes to the countless awful things vegas did and have the fucking gall to root for petev3gas.
anyways. like kp if you want, but i'm sick and fucking tired of y'all holding the show to this high standard when many others are far better and more cohesive, with a much better message, characters and storylines. please develop some critical thinking skills that tiktok and twitter probably sucked out of your brains and learn to accept that not everything you like is a masterpiece and that's okay.

1.YES kish/ichigo! the thing is. I GET it, and I don't really care if other people ship it obv (esp since ppl are adults these days in the fandom at large and shipped it as kids, I get that its a nostalgia thing for a lot of ppl, or has an interesting post-canon dynamic?)
what I do hate is that kishigo shippers tend to throw my fav best boy masaya under the bus, or make him wildly ooc, or just generally hate on him. :( thankfully I see that a lot less these days as again a lot of ppl are adults and more mature abt it (and I am generous with the block button for ppl who arent, lmao) but back in the day it was painful and everywhere. like, even if im a masago fan, I LIKE kisshu as a character and find him interesting, and even if I DIDNT u wouldnt see me putting chara hate for him in the main tag! thats tacky! some ppl need to learn character analysis fr because how are they looking at the same characters I am!!!

OHHH this is a hard one. the question specifies 'show' but I'm gonna actually answer for the series as a whole (manga, old show, new show)
I'd probably change the new series to keep the old series' lore about the mew aqua rod being an ancient alien artifact instead of being a masha form (...because this lines up with my fanfiction, no other reason, actually, lol)
2. For the old series, no panty/bust shots. those are awkward and bad, and the new show did better w that, at least imo.
3. make the new show longer. we know its at least getting a season 2, but cmon. give me like 7 seasons. stretch it out, add brand new filler eps with focus on each chara, no need to rush, give us lots of new mew content, don't be shy about merch, either... 👀 and add berry and ringo, too... (in a perfect world, season 3 will be made and feature berry, and ringo would get an OVA or movie situation.)
4. more alien lore!!!! anything. give us crumbs we deserve them (I also really wanted alien redesigns like the girls got tbh! even if I kinda like the old mew designs better, I still wouldve liked to see smth new for the aliens anyway)

Im very glad you send me this ask, because you show how bkdk shippers and anti bkdk can peacefully co-exist, without both sides trying to eat each others throats. There is a difference between shipping for the lolz because its fun or turning a ship into your whole personality, attack and harass others who have an different opinion on the ship and just being completly obssessed to the point that only the ship matters and not the story!
Yes I hate bkdk, I think the ship is terrible toxic and izuku deserves better then to be shipped with the guy who abused him for 12 years, but I have nothing against people who peacefully ship it and leave others alone. There is a difference between a bkdk stan and a bkdk fan. Of course there are toxic anti bkdk too and of course also toxic izuocha, kiribaku and tododeku shippers, but its a fact that bkdk shippers are the most aggressive and obssessed shippers in the fanbase. And this toxic shippers give the rest of nice bkdk shippers like you a bad reputation and thats very unfair. Almost everyone who isnt a bkdk shipper (except neutral people) hate the bkdk fanbase and see all of them the same bad, when thats not the case. Thats why I think its so important that also bkdk shippers call the toxic ones in their fanbase out. I do the same with anti bkdk people who act over the top and attack shippers.
The first thing I did was blocking the bkdk tag and also blocking certain blogs, otherwise visiting the main bnha tag would be torture for me. I stay out of their space as long as they stay out of mine. If a bkdk attacks me, because they dont like one of my anti posts I defend myself! Never did I attack someone first, but Im allowed to defend myself or other anti bkdk if a toxic stan trys to put up a fight over a ship about two underage boys. People dont like the same things and people will talk about the things they like or dislike.
Honestly I dont like shipping in generell, I think shipping by itself is very toxic and the sole reason why there is literally no fandom that isnt a hellhole. I just want to concentrate on the story and the characters arc. That doesnt mean there arent ships I dont like, but I try my best not to focus on them. Shipping should be fun and not a war about which ship will be canon in the end! Thats not the purpose.
Im allowed to write whatever I want on my blog. If someone doesnt like my anti posts, they are free to block me or at least to block the anti tag, if they cant stomach that not everyone likes their stupid ship. Dont invade each others space and everyone should be happy!

I'm a Jaune fan who is tired hearing him slandered everywhere in the fandmn. Most of the hate I see has nothing to do with shounen but due to him being a male who "gets more screen time than the main girls" The hate hasnt decreased its only gone up ever since he fell into the void. People didnt want him anywhere near the main girls. I though this ship was interesting so I looked around but became worried that this would make things worse. You cleared up my concers though. Thank you.
Oh and about the simp thing. Simp is an insult directed at men. It doesnt really have anything to do with hating women. It's a term used to mock weak men who bend over backwards for women who hate them or dont care about them. Especially if the woman is a bad person and doesnt deserve it. This behavior is seen as pathetic by both men and women and I have seen it repeatedly used on Jaune and even Adam. So if Jaune helps Cinder in any way it will be seen as weak simping behavior by everyone.

I genuinely don't know what you're talking about because I don't go on Reddit or Discord, so I'm not sure I can meaningfully prove you wrong - but I think you should remember that only the most angry or most excited people are going to be the most vocal.
The Tumblr end of the fandom has little to no problem with him, even if he's not a fan favourite.
I also have written before that the purpose of falling in Ever After is part of a major step in the monomyth and him falling doesn't really have as much to do with team R/WBY and more to do with what I expect him to go through down there, but I'm not sure if that's in your interest. Simp is an insult directed at men. It doesnt really have anything to do with hating women.
I know what simp means and why it's used. I don't think such a term should be normalised and it should be treated as weird as it actually is.
It is rooted in misogyny, but I don't think we're going to be in agreement. The idea that basic affection for women is pathetic is predicated upon the notion that you only should extend that type of affection towards women if you are getting something in return (that is why, as you demonstrate, it's 'worse' for a bad woman to be on the end of such). The weakness of the man in question is because he is not getting his end of the bargain, or putting more into the relationship than she 'deserves'.
Such a transactional view on relationships is rooted in a) misogyny and is b) fundamentally anti-humanistic and frankly disgusting.
This behavior is seen as pathetic by both men and women and I have seen it repeatedly used on Jaune and even Adam. So if Jaune helps Cinder in any way it will be seen as weak simping behavior by everyone.
The example you give here of Adam is precisely because he doesn't 'get' what he 'ought to' from Blake, and she's effectively not putting out.

You're not going to find terribly much sympathy on my part for Adam, but he's not a simp? He's an entitled secondary villain. That's not simping.

Also I think your focus on weak men probably needs some help. I literally don't know where to start with that but men extending basic affection and compassion and respect towards women is not weak. Then again I'm wondering what's going on here because Jaune is not a character who typically appeals to men really worried about weak men, since his Semblance is, well, literally compassion as a superpower. He kind of checks you at the door. So maybe you should think about what appeals to you about that? Maybe you don't even agree with the notion that 'weak' men are bad.
I totally allow that there might be something lost in translation here; I know anon asks can't always provide the full context of somebody's beliefs, or what they really mean to say.

Not by everyone, no. I think you seriously need an attitude check, because it sounds like you're going through something quite difficult. Not everyone is your enemy, in fact, if you recall I extended sympathy to you in my first response to your ask. You would find that if you stopped expecting the worst, there are a lot of decent people around even if we don't always agree with each other.

No worries, asks are preferred to replies. If you're a logged-in user, you can send much longer asks (like the length of blog posts, haven't tested the limit yet) but you're constrained if you're a logged-out user to the old ask style.
Sorry for dumping all of this on you but the reason I asked you about this at all was because I was reading your blog and was slowly being convinced that Jaune x Cinder might actually happen.

As you can see, though I run a small blog, the people whom I interact with are generally a great lot - including and especially through my fanfic. The things you describe about Jaune's character and this bizarro 'simping' thing is genuinely stuff I have not encountered. This is why cultivating your own fandom space is really important and so is searching for the positives.
Knightfall fandom (and by extension Cindemption), though it's small and there's been a few hiccoughs here and there for sure (as there always is), is full of great people who get both Jaune and Cinder (or come to appreciate the other more when they have got into the ship). As I said, they make the most sense together. You just have to search for the people whom you get along with.
And please recognise those people whom you are so worried about are going to be the most vocal because they have a chip on their shoulder and are not representative of the majority. Besides which, that end of the R/WBY fandom is really ugly. Like, of all the fandoms I have been in, they carry some of the worst narrative atittudes (and worldviews). Because their attitudes predominate the space - especially in echo chambers like Reddit and Discord - it means challenging those prevailing attitudes is extremely difficult. We might have some of the same problems on Tumblr, but not nearly to the same degree, at least in terms of personal expression (and then how easily people can see what you're saying with a public tag).
So I think that's also really important to keep in mind. The platform you're using for fandom is naturally going to influence your experience, especially the types of opinions you're exposed to.
I did ask for some help with responding to this ask and my Best Mate said maybe anon really is worried about the way other people in fandom perceive him and (and by extension) his favourite character, when I was solely focussing on the lattermost. Because I am living on another planet sometimes, this didn't exactly occur to me. I mean, you need to literally live your bliss and enjoy the things you enjoy, fuckwits in a fandom for a show like R/WBY literally do not fucking matter. I might have very low self-esteem but the things that bring you joy and give meaning to your life matter more than what conformists want you to think. It's hip to be square etc.
Why would you want to be like those men who care about simping???? Or why would their opinions actually matter?? They don't understand basic narrative and human interaction. But if you are really worried about them and you want to like argue/debate with them (behaviour I do not especially understand) then you need to learn rhetoric and how to identify what they're doing wrong with their narrative interpretation, or lack thereof.
