sometimes you spend two days dissociating so hard you barely remember them, and sometimes you dive so deep into translating a 2e-era dungeon map into minecraft that it aligns ur chakras and the next thing you know it’s four in the gotdamn morning and you’re not even done with the first floor hhghdhdf

why icarus is a branzypierce song
verse one:
Look who's digging their own grave / That is what they all say / You'll drink yourself to death / Look who makes their own bed / Lies right down within it / And what will you have left?
the lines about “look who’s digging their own grave” are so very branzy. he’s digging his own grave by going near clown. it’s a death of his own making and in the process he’s betrayed all his friends, leading to “what will you have left.”
verses two-three:
Out on the front doorstep / Drinking from a paper cup / You won't remember this / Living beyond your years / Acting out all their fears / You feel it in your chest
to be 100% honest i don’t know what this verse means in the actual song but branzy is very definitely “acting out all their (as in everyone other than him and clown’s) fears” by allying with ‘the deadliest member of Lifesteal.’ and he’s “living beyond [his] years” because he should have been dead a long time ago.
this thing:
Your hands protect the flames / From the wild winds around you
again gotta admit not Really sure what the song’s actually trying to say but i mean. i think it’s pretty fitting to say that “the flames” are branzy and clown’s love and the “wild winds” are the wars and other players trying to kill them. cheesy, i know.
chorus:
Icarus is flying too close to the sun / And Icarus's life, it has only just begun
the real reason i like this song: one, i like icarus myths. and two, i love the idea of comparing branzy to icarus and clown to the sun. because clown is deadly and he will kill branzy if he comes to close, and branzy’s ignoring that. will clown kill branzy? no. but shut up it’s my post i decide what metaphors i use.
two more verses i’ve lost-count already:
Standing on the cliff face / Highest fall you'll ever grace / It scares me half to death
falling into clown’s arms, haha. but really i feel like a fall from a high cliff is something i’d compare their relationship to in a fic. it’s fitting. need i elaborate? anyway yes clown scares branzy “half to death”
another verse:
Look out to the future / But it tells you nothing / So take another breath
lifesteal’s quite unpredictable. tbh i imagine this is branzy being scared of what might come but knowing he can’t predict it so he goes along with whatever.
last verse:
You put up your defenses when you leave / You leave because you're certain / Of who you want to be / You're putting up your armor when you leave / And you leave because you're certain / Of who you want to be
okay, time for Who Is Singing This Song! I see this whole song as rek or vitalasy warning branzy that joining clown will kill him, because they’re paranoid like that, and branzy’s just ignoring them. because ofc he is. but anyways he’s “putting up [his] armor” (which means taking off armor) and “putting up [his] defenses” (which means being MORE defensive) which makes sense. he’s putting himself in danger/removing the armor that is distance from clown, but he’s also being more cautious and defensive.
(another chorus here)
in conclusion, icarus is a branzypierce song because i said it is. i am correct. why did i write this? i was bored. any other questions?

Death Road to Canada staring the character from “Runaway to the Stars”(Prologue)
“Runaway to the Stars” belongs to @jayrockin.
I did my best recreating the characters using the in game character creator.
Shyam:
Car Nut: (+3 mechanical skill, starts with a "better" car)
Practical (3 points divided randomly to strength, fitness and shooting, and 3 points divided randomly into into mechanical and medical. Also makes the Wits, Attitude and Composure stats average, which isn't a reflection of what I think of the character's personality, the trait "practical" just seemed to fit.)
Gillie:
Explorer: Can choose an extra option while looting. Lowers cost of rerolling looting locations.
Charming: High wits and attitude stats. Allows use of charm in certain situations.
Talita:
Megabuff: +4 points in strength
Inventive: +2 Mechanical, high wits stat.
Idrisah:
Top Seller: Can sell items at an increased price, Lower bandit tolls.
Civilized: High Wits, Attitude, Composure, and Loyalty stats, +1 mechanical and medical, greatly lowered maximum morale. Also functions as the Charming trait.

there is something so horrible about destroying churches, or any place of worship. im not even religious. it’s about the fact that people were so devoted, put so much effort into building and decorating and just experiencing this part of their life, that they hold so important. and all that effort is taken away by a fucking bomb
I find religion beautiful, and it’s harrowing to see these things happening in PaIestine and no one cares. suddenly now no one cares about religion or the importance of religious monuments
