| Underrated Affectionate Gestures So many things could be said about Dice, he was a charming bastard for one, hw had a very irresistible smile to top it off. And a voice just as smooth as silk it was no wonder he had a radio show after all. Stolas had never admitted it but he did listen in time to time to that show. May be it was rude but it just wasn't as good without Dice behind the mic it was hard to match that chirsma he supposed. Untill his chair moved, it was a sudden and abrupt and rough as he found his chest and stoumash coilled in with the tables edge suddenly. Making the prince double over hissing slightly under his breath as he looked over his shoulder eyeing out a Lord of the goeita demons. Stolas right away knew that was on purpose, some of them still found him leaving Stella to be such a crime, their relation to Stella of course made that personal opinion and not a factual one. Stolas huffed a bit but he mustered the energy to deal with them. Exchanging some passive aggressive poleit hellos as they tried to play off what they did as an accident. Stolas wishing to stick to his date decided to simply let it go. It wasn't worth a fight or even a scramble he was beyond that he was a Prince after all. Once they left finally ignoring anything they may say toward's thier own companion Stolas simple shifted back to Dice.

"Sorry for that Cubes you know how its though, I'm just so popular everyone wants to speak with me. Hmm it's so exghusting" he said playing it all off as if it didn't bother him in the slightest. "but we both know who get's to fully occupy my time so try not to get jealous darlng alright?" he teased a little letting the flirty nature of his comment come out fully. But Dice didn't seem as invested in getting back to thier date as Stolas was, Stolas noting how they seemed to be looking past him about to turn and look himself when Dice spoke up. Calling Doll like Stoas enjoyed got him to turn back to them, as they rose to excuse themself. Excuseing themself at least that was what Stolas thought they said. Dice slang still went over the owls head at times, he mainly guessed from how they moved from thier seat and stood away from the table. "alright don't make me wait long though you know I hate being lonely." he added in. Watching them walk away before turning back to the table himself.

Talon kept busy by running it along the edge of his wine glass, he hoped the mood hadn't been ruined by that little run in with Stella's great uncle. Beak purse as he sighed he did guess earned some fall out still from all of that mess. Was it selfish though of the Prince to simply wish things be swept under the rug and forgotten so he can just move on with his current relationship with his king? okay fair Dice wasn't a real king but he felt like a king to Stolas. Humming now it had be a bit too long since Dice stepped away from the table hadn't it now? Stolas eyed thier plate they had taken a few bits here and there did something not sit right maybe? Just to be safe he pushed back from the table and rose to his feet to make his way over to where the restrooms we're at. Poor cubes, Stolas worried about them wondering if thier food wasn't fully cooked but this restaurant was normally know for the quiltaly seeing as mainly royal demons ate here. Well in that thought he noted a side door left open, he wouldn't look into it, he was sure it was where the dumpster was or some kind of side entrance for the staff when he picked up on Dice's voice. So that was enough to get him to make his way through the door, why would Dice be out here?

Answer was quickly given once Stolas got outside to find Dice and the Lord from before at first it seemed as if they were simply talking but as he drew closer it seemed said conversation may be far more violent in nature knife in Dice's hand as they pulled it from the Lord's side going to clean it off as the Lord was hissing out from the pain. "Dice?" was all Stolas went on to say "What- What uh are you doing?" he asked offering a smile hoping the clamer tone in his voice will keep Dice from going further than he was as he watched them turn his way smile on thier face. A different smile sinster, dark, deadly. Stolas started to back tack as Dice came his way now cleaning off the Lords blade from thier knife. Dice wouldn't try and hurt him from seeing right? no of course not yet he kept take strides backwards with each one Dice took towards him knife held in thier gloved hands as they were explaining they could let them get away with hurting his Prince after all. Oh so it was for Stolas sake then? He questioned a little to him self "Ah I see dear well I think we should perhaps get away from-oof" cut off when his back met the wall of the building letting his hand feel over it because he fears taking his eyes off of Dice right now. It was hard to explain he wasn't so much scared that they might hurt him from how Dice was talking they were making it clear how they wanted to simply protect Stolas and wasn't going to stand for that mistreatment before. "Cubes, please there's no reason to go to such lengths over me." Spekaing as he was seemed to be keeping Dice stable? Stolas was out of his depth here unsure what he should be doing.

One gloved hand pressed to the wall beside Stolas as Dice had them corned now, Stolas eyes widen for just a moment feathers lifting at the look in Dice's eyes he had see so many expression cross over them not this one as they leaned in closing in on the owl the metal of his knife left to rest flat side against Stolas cheek, as they let there tone drop into a soft gravely wishper to Stolas. Letting the kife glide down from Stolas cheek and travel down to thier neck. Dice telling them it was his job though, his job to look after the prince. His Prince. To protect him for anyone who tried so much as the lord did to inflict harm on them.

Stolas could feel a heat to his cheeks right now, needing to bite down at his bottom bill as he could feel metal caress over his feathers right now. There wasn't a reason for him to fear Dice after all right? they said it themself they just wanted to protect him. Feeling how Dice pinned him to the wall with his chest left Stolas breathless as he needed to reclaim his balance a second. His knees were growing weak from under himself. "R right" he in the leat manged to get himself say as to show Dice he understood. "I would suggest we go back inside but, I think it be much better idea to go home," lifting a hand to let it trail down the side of thier face "Right now because food is not want I'm hungry for anymore."

i think that soap/könig is such an underrated dynamic...

i like to think soap would manage to get the closed-off giant to open up a little and let himself be softer.

ghost/könig makes me think of high-energy moments, quippy, sarcastic exchanges, cheeky banter and playful threats. both keeping layers and layers of plausible deniability every time they manage to almost be frank with each other about their mutual appreciation.

which only means that ghost/soap/könig brings the perfect balance.

soap could easily add to the cheekiness and playfulness, while keeping things more open, with his no-nonsense grounded attitude, he would easily call out the other two when they get cunty and spiteful.

soap would remind them that they love each other, the three of them, and if they don't stop acting like wee bairns, he'll have to take them on his knees and smack their bums until they remember they're adults!

so they'll learn to be more affectionate and tolerating and soap would be the glue and he would be very valued and cherished for it, besides just for being himself, of course.

and ghost and könig would show him more through gestures than words, because that suits them best and that is the one thing soap wouldn't change, because he wants less conflict and for them to see thay're not so different after all, but he doesn't want to change them into different people.

Sadly, the fandom and memes ruined me a few characters of bnha, that is why I have more troubles to write certain characters, I think Aoyama is great and I hope I make a good job writing this! I really REALLY hope you like it ❤️

Aoyama is pretty affectionate in his own way, on the relasionship he will never get bored of showing you his love in his own charming and extravagant way, mainly by gifts and loving words. He doesn't expect it in return, he does want you to show his love but that doesn't mean he does it because he want it in return

Aoyama isn't exactly easy to flustered, in fact he recive any kind of affection from you with open arms and a big smile, everytime you do something romantic for him he says thanks with a wide and loving smile. What does actually flustered him is the more sincere and loving acts, showing that you accept and love him just the way he is and showing reasurance is more meaningful for him

Taking time of your day (probably waking up even earlier) to make him breakfast and bring it to bed for him is something that Aoyama will apreciate a lot! He find the gesture incredibly adorable and has not problem I with telling you that, thanking you with along with calling you by a cheesy nickname before sitting on bed, getting comfortable but also letting some space at his side for you to sit with him (if you don't catch his indirect or hesitant he will tell you directly), depending on the hour he may or may not joke about how he forgive you from waking him up from his sleep just for the lovely surprised

He will take the time to taste and compliment everything you had cook for him and even share a little with you, he will take a long time just because he is enjoying the comfortable and sweet time he is having with you

Now, his reaction doesn't change much but how he feel about it will be diferent depending the context, if is just a gesture of love, that you just wanted to surprise him out of the blue he find it adorable and just enjoy the gesture. If is the case that you do it to celebrate something (like his birthday or the anniversary) he will feel really apreciated and loved, and for that he will express how much he loves you and how lucky he is to have you in return. Although, if it is the case that is because he is sick that will actually flustered him, while being sick he is far from presentable, he probably look like a mess and is embarrassed for it and yet you still wanted to stay with him and help him and that flustered him a lot, he is actually getting a little shy while thanking you and while enjoying the food, it would take him a moment to regain his composture but at the end he thanks you for the kind gesture

This guy is seriously underrated. Which is a pity as he is such a fun character (at least in my opinion) So I have decided to rectify that. Here are some head canons for what it would be like to date the monkey king from Jackie Chan adventures. 

(I feel like this is one of those pieces of writing that borderline both good and bad. Any way enjoy)

• The moment he sets his sights his sight on you it's all over. The boy is totally love-struck, we're talking heart eyes, floating cartoon hearts, shot with cupids arrow, the works, he is gone. • And your life will forever be a lot more chaotic as he has made it his mission to woo you (as well as enact a long list of pranks but that can be put aside for late first ROMANCE!) • Get ready from now on your life will be filled with over-the-top, cheesy, grand romantic gestures and wacky shenanigans. • He will do anything to win your affection. Some of these instances include: -flooding part of your city/town so he can take you on a romantic gondola ride -coming home after a long day only to open your door and be swamped with a tidal wave of flowers. And after finally managing to dig yourself out, only to find that your entire home is bucay upon bucay full of them -flirts with you constantly. This sometimes develops into a whole skit. Referencing some type of Romanic pop culture the best example is the Romeo and Juliet speech. -popping up out of nowhere so he can talk and hang out with you. Which slowly devolves into him trying to show off and impress you. Will also randomly kidnap you every now and then to take you on spontaneous dates   - during a romantic dinner he is pulling some bugs bunny level stunts one moment he's your date next he's acting as the waiter, then he's the chief, then a violin player, etc....etc..... Just switching between all of these different roles all the while still holding a conversation with you. it's honestly quite funny especially when he gets in an argument with himself over the fact that the waiter is flirting with you despite it literally being himself -giving you interesting/expensive pieces of jewellery. And you later find out via the news that he took them from a museum or some fancy jewellery store. And subsequently having to find a way to sneakily return it so you don't get in trouble (or keep it I don't know your moral compass ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) • Eventually, if you agree to be his s/o he will be over the moon and you will have gained yourself one over-the-top but very dedicated lover • Has made it his personal mission to make you laugh as he loves the sound of your laughter, especially a full blown belly laugh. the first time he got you to laugh like that made him so soft he practically melted into a puddle of goo. but whatever you do, do not fake laugh! at any one of his jokes, I'm serious. as he will get extremely upset with you and it will devolve into a full blown fight. That will require a lot of apologising and making up on your part to get him to forgive you. • Expect a lot of cheesy pet names from honey bunch, snookums, schmoopsie woopsie boobear slowly getting more and more ridiculous/sickly sweet the further he goes on. Stop him before he goes too far and you throw up from the sweetness. • On a side note, he will call you his queen • Very physically affectionate. He is always touching you somehow, whether it be slinging an arm around your shoulders, holding your hand as he drags you off on your next adventure or having his tail wrapped around your waist • He's a nuzzler. So watch out because that beard of his tickles and he will use it against you • He has done the whole kiss up your arm thing while calling you sweet pet names or just generally praising you • He knows how to keep you on your toes there is never a dull moment when you're with him • I don't know why but I think he would be a bit of a movie buff, based on all of the pop culture references he makes in the show. as such he love's watching films together with you, however, he cannot sit still for the life of him. Not to mention he would talk throughout the duration of the film. I can guarantee at the end of the movie there will be popcorn everywhere. • On a side note, another thing you end up doing a lot together is performing. He absolutely loves to be at the centre of attention and craves the spotlight. And with you being his partner he will want you there with him. And often drag you along to join in on his act, whether it be acting, magic, stand-up comedy, dancing, or karaoke. he just wants to include you in something that he enjoys and overall for the both of you to have fun together (on a side note he does not care if you're not good at any of it or if you both look silly he just wants to have fun with you). However, if you’re the type of person who very much enjoys staying out of the spotlight he will respect that but expects you to be a part of the audience cheering him on.   • loves it when you play with his hair and will pretty much let you do anything with it. Which means you can braid it to your heart's content. • Will include you with his wacky costume changes often giving you an outfit to match his • Playing pranks on various people, and just because you’re his significant other don’t think that you're safe, as he will prank you too. Usually, it's just some ploy to trick you into kissing him, however, some of them are purely at your expense. if he ever takes things too far though and makes you upset or "gasp" the unthinkable makes you cry. He will make it up to you with a huge grand gesture and once things calm down, offer you a soft heartfelt apology • If you have a similar sense of humour as him he would love it if you were his partner in crime • Pitching in on prank planning becomes part of your quality time together • Helping him out whenever he gets stuck in doll form be it by finding someone he can swap places with or through some other magical means. And for whatever reason, if there is ever a scenario where you're the one to swap places with him and become a doll, he will stop at nothing to find a way you turn you back all the while taking care of you while you're in your doll form. • He is still salty over what Jackie and jade did to him and is still looking for revenge against the two. Personally, You have nothing against the two and actually get along with them whenever the monkey king is not around. (there have been multiple occasions where you have ended up having tea with uncle, getting food with Tohru or jade, having in-depth conversations with Jackie or getting into mischief with jade) However now and then you may end up getting roped into whatever crazy scheme he concocted to get back at them. But most of the time you're just observing from the sidelines. • When the Chans first met you they first thought you were being mind controlled or manipulated in some way and subsequently ended up kidnapping you only to find out on you worn't and you just really loved this goofy monkey. Needless to say, the monkey king was not at all pleased to find out you had been kidnapped, and by his enemies no less. Which results in him coming to rescue you (not kidding he actually road in on a horse dressed as a knight in shining armour to come and get you) this result in a series of hijinks that get weirder and weirder as. one monkey king is trying to protect you. babying you all the while, after all, you have just gone through a traumatic experience being kidnapped and all (even though they were very nice kidnappers). Two, him trying to get some well-deserved payback ( at least in his eyes) against those who kidnapped you aka the Chans. and three, you trying to stop him from committing a felony while simultaneously trying to show that you're ok. it finally ends with half of the city in chaos, Jackie and the fam a little worst wears, section 13 freaking out over the damage and with you now officially on their radar and with you completely exhausted and very much in need of a nap with a clingy monkey at your side.    

• The monkey king doing something ridiculous in the background Jade: What do you see in him y/n: he makes me laugh

• Stopping him when his pranks take a more harmful or lethal turn. As seen in the show this boys humour can get pretty dark • He gets jealous really easily, and can't stand not being the centre of your attention. And as such this does cause problems within your relationship but after sitting him down and telling him how much this is damaging your relationship. He will back off and try to be a bit better for your sake with only the occasional relapse here and there. • At the end of the day, he really does love you and would do anything for you

The sun had long set, the songs of the birds had fallen silent and only the crackling of the fireplace could still be heard. Your gaze was directed to the display of your cell phone, waiting to get a message from your loved one, but none came. With a sad sigh you put the phone away, it was already the fourth day that he did not answer. In your mind you had already imagined every possible situation, what if he was wounded? Even worse, what if he fell? Would you be notified, or wait for him for all eternity? The sound of a door opening startled you out of your thoughts, you had locked it, you were sure of it and the only one who had a key to your door was your husband. "I'm home honey" made your heart beat faster, the heavy Polish accent left no doubt and the deep voice was unmistakable. He had come home. With quick steps you move from the living room to the entryway, his stature almost completely filling the narrow and sparsely lit hallway, yet you can clearly see his gentle smile. He barely has time to respond so quickly you wrap your arms around him and bury your head against his chest, but he too wraps his arms around you, lifts you up and places his lips on yours. The kiss is gentle, yet intimate and full of passion. Your husband can't help but grin slightly at his pet name *bear*, your pronunciation was better than before, but you also had a strong accent when you spoke Polish. With an affectionate pat against his shoulder you bring your husband back to the now, take him gently by the hand and pull him into the bedroom. His gaze is fixed on you as you help him remove his clothes, careful not to press on any bruises or injuries. It was a small gesture, but it meant so much to him. Your eyes go up to him, only to give him a gentle kiss on the lips and push him onto the bed to finally get your lover to sleep.

His breathing is regular but you know that your dearest is still not asleep, so you free yourself from his arms and get a grumpy murmur. He is clearly unhappy that you have freed yourself from his arms, but only until you gently pull him to your chest, letting your fingers roam through his short hair and over his bare back. You feel him slowly relax as you continue to gently stroke his head and back. He listens to your steady heartbeat, your warmth, the gentle caresses and your smell is finally what brings him to sleep.

The next morning, your lover is awakened by the smell of sausages and the absence of you. Sleepily, he staggers down the hall almost silently, only to see you standing at the stove, the table already set with lots of delicious things.

He wraps his muscular arms around your body, pulls you closer to his bare chest and murmurs a soft good morning against your head.

You had already gotten up early to make him a traditional breakfast, just like his grandma had once made for him for breakfast. He had told you early about her, he had grown up with her and also she was partly to blame that he had become the man he is now. The picture he had been afraid of as a child now hung in your living room as a reminder of the great woman who had raised him.

Since he had told you a lot about his beloved grandmother you knew what he loved to eat, what he loved to drink in the morning and what reminded him most quickly of home. It was just a meal for everyone else, but you knew for your husband it was so much more than just food. For him it was proof that you recognized his culture, that you recognized his past and also his present self. For him it was proof that he had found the partner for life with you.

Jojolion needs more love really. So is Tooru. I think is so underrated as a villain. There is little to no content of him especially yandere. Can you make yandere headcanons of Tooru please?

Every sweet word that comes from this rock human’s mouth, is overwhelmingly pleasant, even if it does come across as creepy. Tooru does this on purpose but makes sure it somehow flatters you even if you don’t want to admit it.

One of his favorite affectionate gestures is putting yours and his own fingers laced together. He feels it’s an important aspect of a relationship to hold hands, and embrace another.

Tooru will absolutely push the limits of a “friendship”, casually commenting you both should be something more. Getting a little too close if you hang out in public, affectionate nicknames or honorifics.

Rather apathetic to any opposition, doesn’t necessarily care what happens to them. However his eyes give a dark glint every time they may interact with you. Says the right things with flawless rehearsal to appease them to leave quickly.

This doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll spare them, He will absolutely intend to murder anyone that attempts to get in the way of his desire to have you. It’s pretty easily for him to organize a freak accident with his stand as well.

As for you potentially trying to push Tooru away, he’s nonchalant about it. Such as the off chance of perhaps connecting he had something to do with making a significant other disappear. There’s a smile that would normally be soothing in literally any other scenario, but oozes something terrifying.

He will simply tell you, he’s there for you at any time you need it most.

Pretty much anyone other than you is at the mercy of Tooru’s manipulation, especially if you may confide in them. He may personally connect with siblings or parents getting them to spill cute anecdotes or little things he hadn’t personally observed that you loved. Of course goading them into pursuing him isn’t that hard if you attempt to run to your family out of fear.

It’s almost super easy and no problems will ever occur if you play along with everything. But if not Tooru has little issues with potential injuries that occur to you. Right in the palm of his hand you would be stuck with him nursing your injuries. Or with proper connections a trustworthy ally to heal you with him visiting.

This caring side to you is probably what attracted Goldie in the first place. The sheer adoration of your voice made his nonexistent, cold, dead heart flutter when you first met.

And that's how Goldie kept visiting you, now you're just used to him hanging around and clinging to you, he keeps driving everyone away in annoyance because they kept interrupting your time with him!

"You're so soft~" You giggled happily, running a hand through Goldie's hair, he was literally sitting on the floor with his head on your lap as you petted him "Mmmmh, you can touch it for however long you want to [Y/N]." Goldie let out a small smile, adoring your compliments and gestures, previous sadistic needs to fight Chica who dared come so close to your office were gone by just a small touch.

"Thank you then! I'll indulge myself~" You playfully grinned and actually leaned down to give him a small peck on the head. Goldie flinched in surprise, his eyes wide from the affectionate contact "Can I..." The blond began, voice soft and quiet "Hmm? What did you say?" You smiled apologetically at making him repeat himself "I... I want to kiss you back... May I?" He looked up at you wish such a shy yet determined expression you didn't have the heart to refuse him.

"Sure... Yeah, you can!" Your approval immediately had Goldie on his feet, he stared at you with a blushing, red face, expression gentle as he cupped your face with his gloved hands and then leaned down, pecking you on the lips and making you flinch in surprise "U-um... Sorry I- [Y/N]!?" Goldie quickly held both your shoulders in surprise when he saw you nearly fall forward after he leaned away. You quickly brought your hands up to hide your face "W-what?" Goldie cursed himself for stuttering, did he make you cry!?

"I-it's just... I didn't expect you to kiss my lips..." You peeked from your hands to look at him and something immediately snapped in Goldie as he stared at you, then swiftly leaned down and kissed you again "Goldie!" You squeaked in surprise and glared at him "Couldn't help it, you were just so cute~"

Despite being basically immortal, with incredible healing ability, Goldie does get hurt to a degree where they won't heal unless somebody specifically takes care of them... Like sticking a shard of class on his arm "accidentally"

"Does it hurt?" You softly mumbled, a genuinely concerned look on your face while carefully removing the shard of glass "Nope." Goldie replied mindlessly, looking at you with loving eyes, he wasn't lying. It barely hurt- in fact, it didn't hurt at all because you were taking care of it.

"Don't lie, it's okay to tell the truth to me..." You stared a little as his wound closed up nearly instantly once the glass was removed, then looked up at him, unintentional puppy dog eyes to plead for Goldie to tell the truth. Goldie nearly died from the caring gesture and just leaned on your shoulder "Yeah it hurted a bit..." And you instantly started cuddling him and cooing at the other.

"I love you so much my sweetheart... More than anything and everything."

The way In Bloom Kate was just an absolute slut for flower daddy Anthony, trying to get his attention while he was like “she’s so pretty I want to die, but she’d never be into me” (also daphne should have told him what was in that insta dm, I’d say he was raging when he found out) is seriously underrated

Ahhh Lady Kate sitting on Anthony's counter catching him and tugging him into her arms with her legs wrapped around his waist. her nose pressed against his neck as she hums

"You always smell so nice. Safe and comfortable and warm. It makes your whole soft handsome florist vibe so much hotter."

Meanwhile Anthony's standing there, trying to swivel his hips so Kate can't feel his raging hard on like She's just physically affectionate with her friends. That's all. Don't, it doesn't mean anything.

"Well, it's subzero right now so it could stand to go up a notch I think."

And Kate reels backwards her eyes flicking over his face. "You're joking."

But Anthony just blinks back at her so she sighs turning towards the woman looking at daisies across the shop, still with her arms and legs wrapped around Anthony, her chin on his shoulder.

"Excuse me, ma'am?" She waits for the woman to look up a little startled, "Do you think this Petal is handsome?"

The woman, probably around his grandmother's age eyes him appraisingly before she drops a £20 note on the counter for her daisies and says "Very."

Kate hums as the bell on the door jingles, "See? Handsome."

Anthony rolls his eyes, "You bullied her into it."

And finally Kate lets him go, sliding from the counter before kissing his cheek, "I think you're handsome as well."

And then she's gone.

And months later, when they're together, and she does the same thing, catching him around the waist with her legs her lips brushing against hers Anthony finally realises.

"You were hitting on me!"

And Kate raises her eyebrows, "Can you hit on your own boyfriend?"

"No, no, before, when you used to do this!" He gestured between them, at their current position, "You were trying to hit on me and I was so dumb!"

A highly underrated family dynamic: Loud and sociable father and quiet and shy son. And they have one of the tightest and sweetest bonds. Throughout Antonio's ceremony, Felix is nothing but encouraging towards his youngest son and (as seen in the gifs above), gives a prideful thumbs up at Antonio's gesture to Alma during breakfast. Like how he is with Pepa, Felix is also quite nurturing and sensitive to Antonio's shyness, always cheering him on but also giving him space to be comfortable at his own speed. In turn, Antonio is very close and openly affectionate with his loving papa. If scared and Mirabel not around, I have little doubt that Felix would arguably be the first person he run to for security. I mean, look at their scene together when Casita is crumbling - A protective Felix quickly saves a frightened Antonio from huge and falling debris and the latter instinctively holds onto his father. I also headcanon that Felix endearingly nicknames Antonio, "mini-me", which is accurate. I also think Antonio admires his father's ability to charm others and tries to mirror him; and while Felix would be flattered, he would also let his son that he's perfect the way he is. Needless to say, this duo have a sweet, loving father-son dynamic with virtually no hang-ups and/or tension.

Summer meant a few things. It was a slower time of the year for the Café so it was the best time for Richard to be able to step away from work in order to go on a family vacation. Like he had gifted to Bailey back at Christmas. Though in truth the real gift was that Richard wouldn't be working at all so Bailey got to have Richard all to himself. Summer also meant it was hot, and yeah going out on nice days was all good but at the same time, it was hot. Richard plopped down onto his towel beside Bailey, offering a slight wave of his hand to Buddy, who was still full of the energy they needed to play around in the sand. Chance was they would be bringing some seashells back with them. Richard then drew his legs up so he could rest his arms on his knees and drop his head. It was hot out today. Even with Richard coming from Las Egeales it didn't make him much a fan of the scoring summer days. The more preferred the Fall when it was cooler and rained. Those early crisp Autumns mornings when he jogged in the fog could happily drink his hot coffee. Well, Richard still drank hot coffee even with the temperature was so insanely high. Head perking up when bailey didn't miss a chance to pick on him asking if his 'old man' was getting worn out running around with thier son just now.

Richard just offered a slight scoff at the comment before picking up his head. "Brat," Summer wasn't all bad though he had to admit, letting amber eyes trail over Bailey right now. Since outside thier shorts, Richard could enjoy the view beside him. Making it obvious he was in fact checking out the same brat he called out just a second ago. "No I'm not tried out it's just the heat getting to me. At least I have quite the view to enjoy as I do take a moment to rest. Even if I could do without the bratty remarks." Richard retorted before sighing out "I just hate the heat, hmm I hate this kind of heat. Other kinds are fine so I'll correct that." he added a smirk to get what he meant by 'heat' just now.

Bailey soon gestured to Richard's own outfit choice, normally Richard wore more business casual attire but not even he would wear that at the beach. Instead, he was wearing shorts himself, and a thin dark navy blue button-up shirt with a pineapple patterning. Bailey saying something along the lines of that being the problem. Richard just lifted a brow and sat up a bit to look over his outfit. "What's wrong with my pineapples?" was all he questioned out of that. It was all airy enough so he wouldn't overheat. Bailey just gave him a look and pointed at the buttons suggestions that might help Richard feel less hot. Sitting up as he went about undoing the buttons of his shirt and held on to one side, so he could move the fabric to fan himself off. "helps a little may need to dip in the water later or waste a bottle of water to drench me." Bailey went on to suggest they could just take the shirt off altogether. "You just want to check me out, fresh."

Not that Bailey needed an excuse they freely check Richard out and pointed that out themself even saying it might just be nice for Richard if he did take his shirt off altogether. Richard closed his eyes mood changed as he continued to air himself off with his shirt. "You know very well why I won't do that." If they were back home at thier pool sure but they weren't, they were out at a public beach. Bailey seemed fast to pick up on that questioning if it was because of the scar on his shoulder. The lack of an answer on Richard's end was enough to say yes of course Bailey went on to say it shouldn't matter. This was an old argument no different than Richard always telling the rooster they didn't need makeup to be beautiful. How was thier face not melting actually? Only now turning to look at his husband a bit of mistake since that just seemed to open up the topic more. Richard went and rolled his eyes "It's gross and I don't need people staring at me because of it, if they are going to stare at me it should be for my chest, face, and ass. Not because of some stupid ugly scar on my shoulder."

Frim in his stance. Not a surprise this was a very common argument after all. Bailey though just shuffled over onto Richard's towel to sit in closer to them, hand moving under the back of Richard's pineapple shirt as Richard could feel the tips of Bailey's fingers ghosting over his feathers working up to his left shoulder where the offending marking was. Told Richard it wasn't gross, gently tracing along the edge of the scar letting thier head, rested on his other shoulder and nuzzle against his neck a little. Richard just let off of his shirt so he could set his hands to the ground and better balance himself as he could feel Bailey's fingers gently drag over his shoulder blade. "You only think that cause your weird." Richard argued "It is in fact gross, it ruined my feathers so they don't grow there so I'm basically blad there. It's weird to look at because of how the skin healed and is bumpy so touching it feels weird too. And the worse of it all because i have the nasty thing I can't show off my back muscles." Oh no the end of the world clearly.

Bailey seemed fine to ignore the dramatics however just gently trailing their touch over Richard's shoulder, despite all Richard said Bailey didn't flinch or retract his touch from the area of skin. Told Richard none of that was true there was nothing wrong with his scare. Hand drop as they went to move to sit behind him now, arms slipping around Richard's waist as they soon nuzzled thier face against his shoulder. Any loving gesture they seemed able to throw to that spot even place a kiss against Richard's shirt. Left the eagle with not much of an argument to hold at the moment. Instead, Richard just moved to break out of Bailey's hold. Not to leave now he was simply adjusting himself a bit. Moving to rest his head on Bailey's lap as he pulled his arm out of the left sleeve of his shirt not taking it off just exposing the scar, Bailey would be enough to cover it anyway. Once more Bailey's hand was running over it gently touching the skin thier, it felt nice. Richard let his eyes close a moment letting them just trail thier tough over his shoulder, following the edge where his 'Bailey" tattoo was at,

"I think you just want everyone to see my tattoo there so they know this god of a creature on the beach is taken. Which is cruel gonna make a lot of people's hearts break." Richard went on to boaster on about. When in doubt flex the ego, "I mean we have our son and rings to already point that out, you know." Richard added on peaking an eye open to smile up to the rooster.

you reblogged a post about nose kisses and stuff ik it was like two days ago but i started it and then didn’t have time to finish and it made me think about how marcus is definitely the kind of person who loves kissing you in other places than your lips (am I making sense?)

obviously I'm not saying he doesn't enjoy kissing your lips quite the contrary but he also has a habit of kissing you all the time, pretty much everywhere.

maybe it's just because I'm like that let's blame the french that I am but kissing cheeks as a greeting is something very special to me.

i’m getting less and less awkward about touching people but something that has never bothered me was kissing someone’s cheek. 

of course, most of the time it’s the regular cheek kissing (la bise) which is just putting your cheek against someone else’s and doing that kissing noise

but i’m talking about actual cheek kisses.

and our boy marcus definitely is a big cheek-kisser.

when he’s in a rush and he wants to say hello/goodbye, when he says thank you, right before bringing you into a big hug and more simply, when he’s feeling affectionate and wants to show you he loves you (especially in public)

again, it’s probably just me but i’m not comfortable AT ALL with pda. like definitely the kind to make out with my partner in public but i don’t mind low-key gestures such as cheek kisses.

while thinking about this headcanon i asked myself why i found cheek kisses so sweet and the only answer i could come up with is that it’s there is something so precious, so wholesome about kissing someone’s cheek. i believe it’s one of the most purest way of showing your love for someone and i refuse to believe it is that underrated

also i feel like just as he enjoys kissing you on your cheek, he loves receiving kisses there.

he loves it when you kiss him and crunch your nose up because his stubble tickled you, loves it even more when you kiss him after he’s shaved because his skin is all soft and warm one might even argue he shaves just for that
