like you can't really make fun of trump the same way you can make fun of biden because trump comes off so cartoonishly evil to the point he seems more of a caricature of a sociopathic billionaire than a real person. meanwhile the biden and to a lesser extent democrat dick riding is so present everywhere including tumblr i just feel like i have to make jokes to point out how fucking absurd everything is, and i'm sure with a wojak pfp and an edgy ass internet handle it would probably come to the surprise of many i see myself as a progressive type more than anything.

Let me let you into a little something.

They don't actually believe in anything. It's all aesthetic to them. They don't actually think about how these things tend to work out. They just want something to believe in that looks cool. Let me tell you how it goes.

Capitalism and Patriarchy grinds down upon the souls of boys and young men. The expectations of fulfilling ideal masculinity and being wealthy breaks them down. I can attest to this personally. Young men start wanting freedom and to stand out but they don't know who to blame or what to do. Instead of doing something healthy like cooking or watching mob psycho 100 and vinland saga or going to the gym they become addicted to niche ideologies and aesthetics.

They become attracted to the aesthetic of crusaders or the aesthetic of communism or the aesthetic of monarchy or the aesthetic of being schizo. It's also part of why they virtue signal about traditional masculinity and bodybuilding so much. They want to feel masculine.

I'm not blaming young men for having an identity crisis and becoming radicalized. I honestly blame the adults that feed them pseudo intellectual bullshit that sounds legit that feeds into their aesthetic. I just don't see a lot of 40 year olds who voted reagan posting groyper memes and chud wojaks while religiously watching nick fuentes or being radicalized because of bridget from guilty gear.

This applies to both minorities and white people. There's this fascist columbian latino guy on twitter who i constantly think about who RPs as a white nietszchean traditional hellenist who worships Zeus and aristocracy and hates jews and christ for being not masculine enough and there's this British Fascist guys who RPs as a japanese imperialist fascist shintoist for some reason and i think both are like this for the same reason.

What have you done to help trans people??

Good question! Back in 2017, an ex-friend of mine was living in a shitty household with a mother addicted to cocaine, a step-father who was a transphobe, and would sometimes stay at his grandparents’ house. The grandpa was a transphobe who tuned into Fox News, voted for Trump (and possibly DeSantis) and laughed in my ex-friend’s face when he told his disgusting grandfather “I’m more of a man than you’ll ever be”.

I helped that ex-friend go to LGBTQ+ organizations, driving him in a car on its last leg long distance to help him find shelter with the help of other trans people working there. I also bought him a new tablet so he could continue doing digital commissions

He began a relationship with his fiance and eventually made plans to move in with them. I helped him with what little money I could give him, and my cis friend also helped him pack and he eventually moved with his fiance.

In high school I also gave him the only compression top I had for him to deal with his worsening dysphoria.

Another trans person I’ve helped is a nonbinary friend online who lives with their shitty sister who is anti-vaxx and goes out of her way to make my friend feel like garbage, such as forcing them to take care of a dog they don’t own when they’re tired from work, potentially exposing them to COVID and refusing to get vaccinated. friend is struggling to make ends meet and really wants to go back to school, I give them money to help, and we’ve bonded over how we have family members with crappy beliefs.

Obviously these aren’t examples of donating to GLAAD or Trevor’s Project, Pridelines or the ACLU, but are examples of people I personally know, online or irl.

Not everyone is able to help financially or in any other way, but what I want to stress is the difference between people who can’t donate but want trans equity, rights and liberation regardless VS transmeds who cry endlessly online about trans people they don’t like “ruining” cis perception of trans people but do LITTLE TO NOTHING to make the future better for trans people by any means, even when some transmeds happen to have influence and privilege like Blaire White or Kalvin Garrah.

Remember during the gamergate-trump years when Pepe gained unprecedented relevance and a whole subgenre of memes emerged portraying Pepe and Wojak as two old friends out of which Pepe was the one to hit it big and become a big shot, and how he mistreated his old buddy.

Who would've thought that in these modern times Wojak would overtake Pepe as The Avatar Of Human Emotion. Karma shows its fruits within ones own lifetime

The main transphobic TERF forum on Reddit has been banned

The main Reddit forum for trans-exclusionary radical feminists (or “gender critical feminists”, as they call themselves), has been closed down by Reddit.

Reddit notes that it was banned for violating Reddit’s rules against hate. The subreddit had clearly become a haven for transphobic bigotry.

This ban is apparently part of a larger effort to make Reddit a safer place. Among other subreddits that have been removed we find the Donald Trump fan forum, r/The_Donald, the leftist r/ChapoTrapHouse, as well as r/darkhumorandmemes, r/consumeproduct, r/darkjokecentral,  r/cumtown, r/imgoingtohellforthis2, r/wojak, and r/soyboys.

Reddit has also announced changes to its content policy, including more explicit rules barring hate speech. In an announcement Reddit writes that “communities and users that promote hate based on identity or vulnerability will be banned.”

Had a dream that we were in the middle of a massive world war, with the difference being that there were only two sides and not multiple factions, essentially making it a good vs evil kinda thing.
