Darnay Holmes chooses UCLA and his nephew was so upset (Video)

UCLA picked up a big commitment in recruiting on Saturday when five-star wide receiver recruit Darnay Holmes announced he would be attending the school. But there was one person who really was not happy about it.

Holmes laid four hats on the table at the US Army All-American Bowl and picked the UCLA one. He also had hats from USC, Ohio State and Nebraska, and it’s clear his nephew wanted him to go to the Buckeyes:

Now that’s a bummer for his nephew.

Holmes started off his high school career at Oaks Christian in Westlake Village, Calif., then played at Newbury Park High School his sophomore year and was named Cal-Hi Sports’ Sophomore of the Year, and he finished his high school career under Casey Clausen at Calabasas High School. At Calabasas, he teamed with Nebraska commits QB Tristan Gebbia and wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson Jr.

Holmes caught 39 touchdowns during his high school career and twice posted over 1,000 yards receiving in a season.

I guess it’s better to have your nephew upset with your decision than one of your parents like what happened with this guy.

looks. Dark brown black-looking eyes, button nose, heart-shaped lips, nice philtrum, sharp jawline.

smile. Plenty of people compliment his attractive and cute smile. His smile almost always makes me smile.

voice. Some people say his voice is goofy or that he sounds like Hiccup from How to Train Your Dragon. I genuinely love his voice. It isn't the typical deep voice, but it also isn't light. It's obviously a male voice, but with a bubbly feel to it.

body. He's tall and slim. His hands are big and veiny, his fingers are slim. His arms are barely muscular, he somewhat has abs it seems. Armpit hair and a flat chest.

style. A lot of black. Baggy pants sometimes. I love seeing him wear suits. I love the cross earrings and dangling earrings he wears. The bracelets and plenty of nice rings he wears. He has multiple fashion styles and I love them all on him.

The way his adam's apple shows when he laughs.

The way he wears jackets and hoodies without having a growing chest to hide.

People need to admit how weird and harmful cis male influencers are when they dress up feminine and go through their best efforts of looking and sounding like a feminine woman to 'troll' and 'trick' people and either laughing at or ignoring transphobic reactions directed towards themself and trans people. It's unsettling.

I'm all for cis men dressing feminine when they're being genuine but plenty of them do it to mock queer people and use their toxic masculinity to shame and mock effeminate cis men, gay cis men, and trans women. And even outside of toxic masculinity, they still use this to mock queer people no matter if they realize it or not, and claim to be women despite being cis men. Because all trans women are to them is a laughing stock for them to immitate.

Influencers like this are really disappointing, and it's especially more hurtful when it's an influencer I myself enjoy. And they either ignore the existence of trans women or do it in thought of them and enjoy the harm it causes and the hate it spreads. They need to stop encouraging their targets of 'trolling' to share and spread their bigotry and stop treating it as humor or something casual to ignore. Encouraging a bunch of bigots and cisnormative people to make transphobic remarks while you sit there and laugh or ignore them.
