Finished binging Earthspark yesterday and have compiled my thoughts on it.
It’s so incredibly charming and sweet, I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. The animation was beautiful, the characters were fun and entertaining, and the episodes didn’t feel like they dragged or were struggling for a narrative. The silliness and playfulness of the story didn’t get cringy, and it’s very clear the writing team were having fun. Furthermore, I loved that the narrative structure was light and enjoyable, and wasn’t heavy on exposition or dodging setup/pay off arcs with the excuse “It’s a Kids Show.” For lack of better examples it reminded me heavily of shows like MLP:FiM or Bluey; A sweet little story with a contemporary look at friendship and family structures, the problems, highs and lows they can have, with each episode ending in a lesson learnt. Likewise, Earthspark added elements to engage an older audience with elements of lore, and the relationships and struggles of the adults, that are adult in nature (raising children, trying to connect with said children as they’re growing up, post-war mum, etc.) Earthspark also seems to add both the adult and the youth elements to the stories without suffering from tonal dissonance imo, unlike other TF media (looking at you TFP.) Combined with such wonderful pieces of representation and a good cast of VA’s it’s a great piece of TF media so far.
This is my first Transformer’s media I get to enjoy upon release being so new to this fandom and it’s been an enjoyable experience thus far. Earthspark clearly has a strong G1 connection, this much was made clear with the trailers, and I was worried it was going to be hard to get into without having watched G1 stuff beyond the movie. There were homages and Easter eggs there for the long time fans as I found out while watching with my friend who got me into Transformers, but it wasn’t so full of these things that it felt alienating. I could easily enjoy the story without having to stop and go to the wiki to figure out wtf they were referring to. The G1 tie in does have me hoping we’ll get to see characters such as Ratchet and Hot Rod (or Rodimus, who knows) but we’ll see what future episodes will bring. I would love to see Rung in this story because he really would work well, but I have a better chance of being hit by lightning.

The most compelling narrative line in Earthspark for me was the relationship between Megatron and Dot. It’s evident that she’s the reason he bounced from Decepticon to Autobot, or more dropped the tyrant to be the hero. Their relationship was exciting to see and felt natural, this is a pair with a past and she’s not ashamed of it, nor he. I’m very excited and hopeful to see this explored more as it’s a side to Megatron I don’t think has been used in TF media.
Speaking of Megatron, he is to me the most compelling of the original cast and seems to be the most dimensional. He’s clearly caring about Dot (and presumably her children), he doesn’t hesitate to step up to the role of mentor and guardian for the Terrans, and seems to be proud to do so when he does. He cares, he seems to really care, about his own kind and the relationship between Cybertronians and human beings. He also hates GHOST and their agenda, and thoroughly disagrees with Optimus’ choice to align with them, but respects Optimus enough to not only follow him, but have his back. Both he and Optimus conflict, and it becomes a sticking point at times, but not enough to cause a rift anew. Megatron doesn’t want he or other Cybertronians to be feared by humans, which is an interesting change of pace for the former warlord. It’s not quite the reformed MTMTE Megatron (and fair enough, that’s a bit dark for a G/PG show) but I can certainly see that poet-come-activist in this version of Megatron. If Earthspark expands on why the war happened in the first place, I’m keen to learn of Megatron’s origins in it.
I didn’t hate this version of Optimus, and at first I was meh about him, but come the final episode I want to know his backstory too. This version of Optimus is desperate to do right by his people and the people of Earth as to him he and the other Cybertronains are guests to the planet. Much like Megatron, Optimus knows they have to be allies with humans in order to live on the planet as they cannot return to Cybertron. However unlike Megatron, Optimus seems to trust the humans and GHOST in an almost desperate way. He doesn’t fully trust them, keeping the Terran’s and Bumblebee hidden from them, but he’s seems at a loss as to what else to do. Or perhaps feels he owes a debt to them? It hasn’t been made clear yet. He rounds up and imprisons ‘Cons to “keep the peace”, an act that clearly agitates Megatron, and OP isn’t terribly keen on either (as we see when he lets the Cassettecons go and agrees Megatron has a point) but he doesn’t stop doing it either. This is a very beaten and defeated OP from what I can see. The time he truly lights up and becomes that Prime we all know and love is when he’s around the Terrans and sees a future via them and their connection with the Malto kids.
The Terrans, Twitch and Thrash are fucking adorable, and so are the Malto kids Robby and Mo. They’re believably youthful and have convincing conflicts young people deal with. The Terran’s aren’t exempt from this and are written not as Cybertronians learning to be human, but Cybertronians experiencing what it is to be human. Robby is convincing as a young teen character, Mo is a good tween, and Twitch and Thrash have this wonderful innocence and naïveté that isn’t obnoxious and woks well as a plot device. They’re also distinctively their own characters which is good to see. The addition of the three new Terrans, Hashtag (really?) Jawbreaker and Nightshade at the end is a cool move. Expanding the cast and the family. Again, hopefully this means we’ll see more of the bots and cons added to, but wait and see.
Alex and Bumblebee are just a goddamn treat. Bee clearly feels he’s above this, and Alex is just happy to be involved with his family. Making him a doctor of history is a good touch as the lore exposition that comes from him seems more natural. Though I am interested to know how he knows about the Thirteen Primes.
Watching Bee be a mentor again is very enjoyable. RiD15 wasn’t terrible with this aspect, in fact imo it was the only redeeming thing about RiD15. TFE Bee has a personality that is more dimensional that some of his predecessors and is a good in between from the more elder and experienced Cybertronians to the new and learning Terrans. He’s not arrogant with age and wisdom making him disconnected from the world he’s now part of, but he feels he’s a little more important than a mere mentor.
Is it really a Soundwave/Megatron divorce arc when it was a decoy all along? Does Starscream hate humans in this story, or just pissy at Megatron for Reasons™, or perhaps it’s something else entirely. (Maybe wanting to keep the bots and Megs stranded on Earth?) Either way that reveal at the end had me screaming and that they brought back Steve Blum to voice the goddamn diva snake is a fucking blessing.
I could only hear Knockout in the drama teacher. It’s cruel we get Daran Norris back in a TF show and he’s not Knockout. AND Steve Blum is back as Starscream. Fucking evil move.
Mandroid is a peak Comic Book™ type villain that adds some threat to the cast but not a sense of doom and foreboding. However he did hurt Megs, so maybe he’s something to be concerned about. His connection with Alex is odd, but may have some fun pay off.
I hope that they go with a guest bot or con every other episode so the cast can be diverse and expanded without being overwhelming. I can see this being achieved with the new Terrans, much like Wheeljack meeting Twitch. I can see characters like Prowl and Ratchet showing up to help the young ones, or Hot Rod coming in with Arcee to be an antagoniser. As with everyone there are characters I’d love to see, Drift and Rung would actually work in this story line very well, and Ultra Magnus would be a fun in-between of Megatron and Optimus. But the show can only do so much.
All in all I really love TFE and have high hopes for it. It has extreme potential as a piece of TF media and I hope the best for it going forward!
Also I am very normal about Megatron, his voice and how he treats these characters and am totally not jealous of Dot, not at all. K Thnx Bye!

Literally all of my thoughts on the sfw vore and EA/T community right now

I’m very torn on how I feel. I usually don’t weigh in on this discourse but with it being very relevant right now I feel I should at least tell my opinion (and all of it so I don’t have to do this again until needed)
Firstly, I don’t mind whatever way someone chooses to tag something as long as it is tagged correctly (like someone only using extreme cuddling only for sfw safe vore)
Okay so my thoughts:
What about those who are new to vore and don’t even know that there is a sfw side?
Say every sfw vore/ EA/T blog says “Bet let’s all hop over to the new tags”. Where does that leave newcomers who are discovering vore and trying to explore their new interest? I’ll be honest, I would have never known about the sfw vore community if the #sfw vore tag hadn’t been on a post I saw two years back.
Honestly, unless you already knew about the change prior (essentially it’s a if you know you know tag. For context I didn’t even know what swwh meant until today) there isn’t really a way for newcomers to find the sfw community.
Then one may say “Well then use both tags” and I would but then I would have others say “Well the point of the tags is that we aren’t associated with the vore community whatsoever” which is also valid
More exclusion on something already exclusionary
I’ve heard mention of how people who are triggered by vore are going to have to filter out more tags but that’s just the way it’s always been. Curate those online spaces folks.
My main worry is that this community will be just the same as the sfw vore one. Very picky and exclusive of what can be posted in the community. For example, I dare someone comfortably post fatal vore while also having the #sfw vore tag. It usually doesn’t go over well. I understand why a lot don’t like that kind of content but people who do make that content shouldn’t be harassed or invalidated for using an umbrella term tag such as sfw vore (and like I said before, this isn’t about extreme cuddling which was exclusively made for sfw safe vore)
We like to think we are a wholesome community and for the most part we are but I think we really need to acknowledge the toxic parts as well to better ourselves.
I think it’s good that the community is finding this sense of togetherness
Good on Yall! We haven’t had this much discussion since the purge (iykyk)
Won’t keep all NSFW away but I think it’s a step to try something new against it
This is kind of a given but I do like the concept so things have a much lower chance of being sexualized if the creator does not want that.
What about me?
I’m going to stick to my current tagging system for now as I feel it is too soon to make any sudden changes. I’ll give it some time to see how everything goes before making a decision.

Just a forewarning: I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense because I'm drunk as hell (lmao sorry). I don't expect anyone to agree with me, so please don't get offended. If you don't agree, message me so we can have a mature and down to earth conversation and get to understand each other, that is if you want to. I want to hear your opinions so please, I am encouraging yall to say something to me. I love geeking out about MHA and I literally do not judge anyone for anything because I know I'm into some pretty weird shit too. But anyway, I'm rambling now... Okay, so I kept seeing this shit about how Dabi/Touya Todoroki is not a character worth stanning or whatever and on the flip side others are completely excusing his actions. It low key pisses me off because y'all aren't even seeing the whole story. Yes he was abused and what Endeavor did to him and the rest of his siblings is not and never will be okay. And yes he is also a sadistic murderer who will basically burn down anyone who opposes him. But most of you only see it one way or the other. I'm not trying to force my own opinion on anyone but please hear me out. Touya does have issues and if Endeavor hadn't done the shit he did, he probably wouldn't have turned out the way he did. However, even if he is a cold blooded villain, he is still human and is just as relatable as any other character. So please stop shitting in the people who actually like him and relate to him. Thats not cool. Idk, my thoughts might not be super coherent right now because I'm kinda wasted but I saw a post that was completely shitting on Touya and the people who stan him and it pissed me the fuck off. Maybe it's because I have daddy issues myself and I might be a little biased because I can relate to him on that. But I don't see him as a completely terrible person and a waste of space. He has his reasons. I'm not trying to excuse his actions because the crimes he has committed ARE NOT and NEVER WILL BE okay. I'm just saying that I understand him and I wish y'all would do the same. He's not perfect. Be has made mistakes (yes I am aware that this might be the understatement of the year). He's KILLED people for fucks sake. But his character is still essential to the story and without him we wouldn't be where we are today. (I mean, I would take some of it back. They killed my baby, my Kacchan, but that's not what we're talking about rn). Dabi stans, you are completely valid and I hear all of you. I also hear and understand those of you who don't like him at all. I'm just voicing my opinion and I don't expect you to agree with it, I just wanted to give y'all another perspective. Please feel free to drop a comment because I genuinely want to know what you all think. I'm not gonna get mad if you disagree with me, I just want to understand your side as well. Maybe have a civil conversation about it. Feel free to message me, that would honestly make my entire fucking day. I love y'all so much and a lot of people shit on the MHA fandom but there are a few of us who get it and aren't just fucking around. Don't hate on people, okay? We all have our differences. HIIIII following a recent question I got (keep lookout for another post like this answering the other one sometime in the future, y'all 😌), I'm taking this opportunity to Finally explain specifics & thoughts I have about how Landiver works as a ship in my mind, why I ship them etc. No it's not justification because I will not be Not shipping these idiots anytime soon, Landiver and Ginhawk are two of like six total ships from all my fandoms that live rent-free and undebatably permanently in my mind thanksss <3
and so yea on that note, any of yall reading this don't have to agree with everything I say!! (Pls don't tell me what you disagree with tho I'm not gonna stop you from thinking what you will and all opinions are valid esp in the realm of like, fan-interpretation of fictional characters, but I am so full of anxiety I will be afraid and scared; I am just begging, don't point out what you don't agree with just leave me beeeeee)
I also realize a lot of this is my personal interpretations of them, which may or may not be entirely accurate (tho to be fair, we only rlly did get glimpses of who the pretenders rlly are as ppl, considering how plot-heavy a series it was; I'd say Hawk got the most attention in terms of that and even he doesn't get as much expansion as I'd have liked 😭) so....there's a lot of room for said interpretation imo.
But yea anyway, I'm talking purely canon Landiver (not gonna get into my AU anytime soon because it's relatively similar to this with more focus on different details bc they have different pasts and such in that....so yea)

I think they work as a ship for a bunch of reasons (I'm only gonna mention some of my thoughts about this because I don't wanna go on for too long 😳)!!!!!
One, their personalities being somewhere in the middle of "opposites" and "the same." Like not "yin and yang" kinda thing but they're also not the same type of person either. Lander might be more confident, talkative, and quicker to get emotional/heated about things compared to an exponentially more easy-going and level guy like Diver. But Diver isn't shy or unemotional, and he is most certainly confident in himself. Both of them Give 0 fucks™ but in different ways, I guess. In that regard, I feel like they also mix very well personality-wise. Lander is more interested in doing the talking, the ranting, etc. Diver says what he needs to in shorter ways in general, prefers listening and making input here and there, chuckling while Landmine fumes about some guy at work. However he might also be slightly more wordy when talking to Lander. Conversely, Lander might be more chill and show the "softer" sides of himself with Diver, the side that loses that usual "cool, confident, smooth guy" composure for example. Fumbles up his usual fast-paced talk because he's distracted w the guy in front of him (when they're in a mostly romantic mood, that is) Lander is certainly more organized and can be a little uptight about things going as they were planned to, whereas Diver (like me lmao 😭) is kind of just perpetually confused a little bit, and just going with it. But see, it doesn't seem that way because he always has this look about him that says to the outside world that he's got this and he is not fazed. He forgets stuff a lot, spaces out, dozes off, etc. Lander's got his back with that tho ✨
Diver isn't as emotional as Lander, so he's a great touchstone for Lander to center himself when he starts to panic or flip out about something. And he only lets himself do that with Diver because he feels like he can. And, being with Lander for so long has encouraged him to express himself and be emotional in his own way more often than before they met. Slowly, over time.
They have different interests for the most part, and aren't going to pretend they want to adopt every single one of each other's interests, but they have a mutual understanding of that, and enjoy the difference in tastes. So they just let each other be. Little things like: Lander's a city person, Diver's a nature guy. Lander prefers style and flashiness, Diver just wants what works, and doesn't mind. Lander is watching like five different dramas at once when he's not working his day job or out on missions, and Diver enjoys reading more (which might be because he's out on be boat or busy doing lots of really hands-on work with aquariums and such for his day job, spending less time than his partner does in an office doing paperwork). Diver will easily take a beer over an expensive wine Lander might've found, and Lander likes finer-quality alcohol, but both would be willing to have the other thing if they're hanging out together and one really wants to have their thing that night. And, they both love a good fistfight, enjoy physical touch as a primary (Diver) or secondary (Lander; his primary is actually gift-giving) love language, drinking, and collect cassette tapes together ✨
Also quick aside, but I HC they chose human bodies that put them around mid-to-late-40s. This is interesting because for example, Hawk has a body that puts him at like 23 (yes specifically 23 don't ask 😳) in human years, and Phoenix is mid-30s. Then we have the other humans characters who are actually just their age (Ginrai is 19, etc...) However, in Cybertronian years, the Pretender team are relatively like the same age, give or take a [cybertronian] year. This is another reason they are so easily connected in a way, because both in human years and cybertronian, they're around the same age, but especially as humans, they'd be not rlly old or super young. Idk how to describe it properly but maybe you know what I mean?? 😳
They are also incredibly playful with one another--always have been. Like, lowkey harassing one another (affectionately) and constantly joking around/making witty quips back and forth in their way, with a specific type of energy no one else has. In fact, they have energies that match in a way where they are as they always have been: like old friends. No one else quite gets it. They're just....a pair. Always together, which I feel like even in the anime you see them fooling around together and perpetually side by side. (Take that one bit where Diver grabs Lander and like ruffles up his hair....i love their vibe sm 😭✨)
They never descend into a serious argument because even their constant "bickering" isnt really bickering at all and more just making comebacks at one another over something on which they disagree, until one bursts into laughter and the other follows.
[Landiver in general is a whole different vibe to say, Ginhawk, both having intimately sweet moments but in very different ways.]
They are more than willing to bring it up when they don't like something/have something to talk about, not worried even for a moment what the other will think, because it will always be the safest place to simply talk it out amongst themselves. They would be hard-pressed to trust anyone else when either have somth serious to discuss. Maybe (hard maybe) Phoenix, since he's usually hanging out with those two when he's around (which is just not that often at all, I'll get into that in the other thread haha) and is somewhat a close friends...but usually it's just Lander and Diver. However even s, they rarely ever have to because they don't really have lines to cross with each other...they do not hold back when goofing around in their definitely shared sense of humor 😭💀✨
Also, I feel like it took them an extremely long time to actually formally get together just because...like, they've always been together anyway, but didn't really know how to go about,,, relationships in the official sense--if that was even something they wanted. It was on and off and on and off again for a while, Lander and Diver trying other relationships with other people for a long time (especially in the period of time after being separated to the different parts of the country once Lander got his new job over in New York and left where he'd been with Diver, again a whole separate thing I have HCs for which I touched on in my "In Relativity" fic; on that note I wanted to mention in both my AU and in canon, I HC Lander as bi and Diver as gay ✨). But they always found it didn't really....connect. over and over, both of them coming back together but not really being sure what it even was they had...and then something happens where it just clicks, and they realize, that...there isn't really anything else they should do. They do belong beside one another. They can be true only with each other, because when they are together, they are "home." As friends in a deeper, more intimate sense of that. Partners....lovers. But always friends, because they both think the whole relationship labels thing puts a wrench in the vibes. It's just very complicated to explain for them, but there's never been any kind of malice or struggle between them other than coming to the final conclusion how the answer has always been in front of them. They've known each other for centuries in our human terms, and they know they've been together forever in a sense, but sometimes it feels like they've known each other even longer.
(When they finally, formally got together, Ginrai and Phoenix just nodded to one another, like they've been waiting for this for ages, and Phoenix playfully punches Diver, who just starts laughing. Hawk, the other godmasters and the kids, are all just happy for the two)

Well you're the first blogger whose entire timeline I read when I started shipping jikook
On a recent post you agreed to sizzlingpatrolfox 's comments on jikooks relationship timeline about them dating only since 2019 or the assumptions about them living together. I'd love to hear you elaborate on that. Because I've believed that they've been dating for a very long time now so to hear that some of Yall believe they've been together since 2019 got me curious as the how you view their story.

Seriously though, I don't think that was the bits of her piece I was agreeing to....
That much should have been pretty obvious since I've shared on here my Jikook timelines and dating theories a countless times and it certainly predates 2019😫
I've even gone back and forth with her on this a few times in the past. It's not my job to convince anyone Jikook is real or spell out the details of how they are real. I'm just here to ship, support and go my merry way. You can come with if you want. Good vibes only.
All that matters to me is that their bond isn't invalidated at the end of the day. As for the specifics we can agree to disagree on it.
We all base our opinions and perspective on information available to us and we filter those pieces of information through our personal experiences and understanding of the intricacies of human relationships. That's her perspective and I respect that. I don't agree with it but I'm not vehemently against it too cos free speech.
I could poke a ton of holes in her argument but frankly I don't wanna do that back forth

And quite frankly I just love to listen to or read alternative theories sometimes. I think diversity of thought is a beautiful thing. For all you know, she may be right and I could be wrong or someone else could be right and we are both wrong.
Anything is possible in this realm of delulu.
Since Jikook isn't officially out, I think we are all allowed to have perspectives on them as unique as those perspectives may be and I really don't think anyone is right or wrong when it comes to these things because we all don't know.
There are those who don't believe Jikook are dating at all. Some who think it's a possibility but aren't sure. Some who think they started dating from day one, 2015 and now 2019. In a few years to come someone will jump up and say they only started dating in 2020 or 2021 or 2023💀
If you've been in the fandom long enough these things aren't suprising. At the end of the day you just have to stick to your truth and this 2019 stuff simply isn't my truth.
Not because I'm obnoxious. I just tend to like my perspective on things a lot better most of the time because I trust my intuition and my analytical mind- it's one of my best features- if I say so myself😏
Of course, that's until I find someone else's opinion I like and prefer even more so than my own and then I'm kicking my delulu perspective to the curb😎
As it stands, I don't like her perspective more than my own unfortunately because that would leave a lot of plot holes in my head and would require me to pretend certain things that I saw and that I thought happened all those years before 2019 didn't happen.
It would require me to play dumb, disorient myself, play with my own intelligence, lie to myself, bamboozle myself, bulldoze my brain into seeing what is not there, believe illusions, and strip away my own experiences of sexuality. And that sounds ound like a lot of work to me so....
I'll stick to my own delusions.

Jikook is really not hard to read. Whether you wanna read them as enemies to lovers, friends to lovers- they really aren't hard to read. They are either screwing or not screwing. In which case they are just really good friends who lack emotional boundaries and do really questionable things.
Whatever they are, they know it best.

No one can convince me they weren't doing the gay before 2019. It's just not realistic. They had plenty of opportunities, and had the right incentive to do the gay from day 1
With all the time they lived together, I don't think they'd suppressed their hormonal teenage urges out of the goodness of their gay hearts or out of regards for the rules to wait till 2019 to decide it's the right time to fuck💀
Neither of them strike me as the patient type. Hell it's not even two years and the memory of performing on stage is fading from them and shit. Whatever sexual tension was brewing between them all those years would have dissipated if not acted upon or kept alive. Y'all heard Tae Kook talk of drifting apart right??? And they lived and worked together for years. YEARS.
Jimin constantly talking about how Jungkook flirts with him even casually- unless Jungkook was practicing flirting on Jimin and Jimin offered up himself to be used for flirting exercises by him-
I'm sorry but I don't have that much faith in men to believe that two boys waited that long to consummate shit. Much less two gay men. Much less two teenage gay Idols from Korea. Much less Jimin and Jungkook.

Personally, I think in 2019 they were gearing towards the end of a journey not the beginning of one. Sis was just late to the party if you ask me. The best of Jikook is behind us not ahead- as far as the crazy stuff they do goes- its when they had less attention on them and when they were young naive reckless and driven by childish desires.
As they mature, as they head towards adulthood they have to dream a future, assume responsibilities, develop life goals and career paths, decide if living together is good for them, decide if coming out ever is on the table, decide if a relationship is feasible or just their fantasy.
There's a lot of adulting that's gonna go into their relationship. A lot of negotiations, a lot of we are not kids anymore are we doing this or not and where are we going with this. And to me, 2019 marks the shift in that trajectory.
Unless they decide to reinvent themselves and put some of us to shame... But then with this whole everyone suspecting they are gay thingy- good luck catching their best innocent carefree young love phase- which in my opinion happened a long time ago. Long before 2019💀
If they only started dating in 2019 then let's all agree at the very least that they were having vigorous gay sex before 2019🙂
I think it's an interesting perspective to have. But as I said, I see that particular time of 2019 as them being on a precipice, at an end of something that slowly begins as the dawn of another. Zero O'clock if you will.
2020 and 2021 has been and to me still is a transitioning period if I were to psychoanalyze them or look through my crystal balls🤣🤣🤣
It's a lot of individualism, putting the individual needs first, a period where each is embarking on a journey to rediscover themselves and find themselves. I've said it before and they each have been affirming it. From Jungkook asserting himself to Jimin working on himself.
Jimin recently talked about thinking a lot of his life purpose. He went through a similar phase in 2018 when the members later revealed they were thinking of disbanding.
Whatever is going on in their personal lives behind the cameras we don't know but it is clearly impacting all of them in subtle yet obvious ways. Let's not make too much of it and just enjoy the ride.
When that ship docks we can all reflect on it retrospectively. As I said, I don't like to theorize about a period when it's ongoing. 201 to this day and beyond is a dark phase for all of us with the pandemic looming over our heads. If they started something in this period damn for them. Really, damn for them. Because it's not gonna be as fun for them with the depressions their dealing with and shit. And shit.
If they started dating in 2019- was it before or after Jungkook's dating scandal? Or Jimin's Paris Scandal? Or Rosebowl or their new Jersey Vlive? Or MAMA, or Jins bdae Or Bon V 4? Were they together during bon v 4? Just curious.
Then there's the issue of boundaries that suddenly appeared within certain dynamics before 2019 which all pointed to a shift in Jikook's dynamic... I wouldn't know what to do with that.
When we say Jikook are dating, it's not just because they look happy together at a given time. It's a culmination of a lot of things especially as pertains to their dynamic with the other members and even the company.
In my opinion of course.
We are in a phase of rediscovery. I'm talking them refalling in love, or reconnecting, rediscovering things they like about eachother, re trying to spark things up or bring back old memories or things they both used to do or loved to do etc

I'm looking at Jungkook mostly to see what his energy is about. I don't know yet.
Jimin talks about wanting to get through his day at work so he can go home. He stays on the couch mostly, or goes to the gym and what not. He says he's changed in certain ways especially his being on his own- at first he'd talked about how he couldn't be alone by himself but now he says he's not like that anymore. He got his own place. He's fixing things on himself he didn't mind to fix before- there's a lot going on with him on an individual level and it shows. As a unit, him and Jungkook, not so much. And I can't tell if it's by design or sheer accident.
I'm waiting for Soop.
I respect the lessons this period presents to them and I love how much they are each changing and growing individually and however anyone wants to interpret it is equally admissible.

Hello!
I'd like to politely disagree with you about your upper caste fair skinned hindus post. Before I say anything, yes I'm aware they're in the majority and have oppressed the minorities for years and years. But hasn't the aarakshan gone on too long? Haven't the minorities been given many chances to uplift themselves ever since azaadi? Why must this distinction between castes exist still? Ik what this sounds like: conservative hindu ideology. Bc it is. I have been raised in a household with nothing but conservative hindu ideology being drilled into my eardrums and ever since I realised this, I started doing my own research, finding things out on my own. I've been trying to undo the conservative mindset that has been drilled into me. But somewhere down the line, I got so tired. I hated that the caste system exists and that it ever did exist. I want nothing to do with it even though I'm aware it won't disappear if i just close my eyes. God how I wish it would.
All I'm saying is that everyone, regardless of caste deserves a chance to voice their opinions and your post comes off against that. Once people start being dickbags about being in the majority, that's when they need to shut their cakeholes, so I would love it if you would edit your post to be more specific. It's completely alright if you can't. (And this goes without saying but if there is anything in my mindset that you feel is problematic, feel free to point it out so i can grow as an individual)

This is prob a hot take but..... it needs to be said. Please note this is mostly from what I've seen.
I think the problem is some people are just so against Katniss or Peeta with anyone else...That some people can get a little nasty for those who happen to Ship Gale and Katniss. I have seen many people go to Galeniss Blogs and shove Everlark down their throats. When they made it clear they have zero intrest in Everlark... Seriously if Galeniss blogs do bother you so much block them... if someone wants to ship galeniss that's really their choice. And I highly doubt anything said would change your mind. I've seen some as nasty to say they didn't read the books right and even going as far as dealth threats. Making a scene. Or worried someone will actually agree with them. You know DAMN well that they wont change your opinions so why try on them. Why say something that's gonna be against all they say. Yes it's okay to disagree. But they are not asking why Peeta is better. They don't need to hear it for a millionth time.
Now yall can point fingers well It's the Gale fans who started it. Or the Everlark fans... But I have seen some get How can't you like everlark your stupid the second they post about galeniss. Now maybe because my blog meets in the middle I've never seen any Gale fans shove it down my throat. Now maybe Everlark fans just don't answer those asks. Or Delete the comments.
Yes I've only heard of it the other way around but. Not seen it. I've heard plently of Everlark fans say that Galeniss fans are just as ugly. as us. In my Personal experience I had a few people in the Everlark fandom who disagreed with things I said and try to start drama with me. Yes most are awesome people. But my personal experience I had been given shit by those within the Everlark fandom.
I am all about being intrested in other opinions. And I had to hold back from because I was in a situation where I had someone who would come ranting at everything I posted they didn't agree with. I cut off that person and now I have that freedom.
Mostly the Gale fans don't make posts for Attention to get Everlark fans angry. Yes there are some assholes who just here to cause trouble. But they are saying their opinions on their own blogs in hopes maybe someone agrees with them. and that's the same for Everlark fans.
Now I know it sounds like I am fully defending Galeniss blogs and all. That's because personally never had an bad experance with them. Never seen them go to Everlark blogs and shove Gale down their throats. Maybe as much as a joke. But it's non stop for Galniss fans getting Everlark down their throats. For the most part Everlark fans are left alone to their opinions. From what I seen. But I go to Gale blogs and all I see is anons shoving Everlark this everlark that down their throats. I personally ship Everlark but my blog is in the middle. And it's okay for people to not Like Peeta. It's okay for People to not Like Gale. or any Character for that matter.
So we just need to be kinder. Ignore if you don't like something. Block. Fliter.
Personally there are plently of things I don't agree with. I ignore them. Scrolling right by is free ya know. I block if it's too much. I filter as well. What I don't do is go to someones blog and tell them how shitty they are because of what they like.
And we all like the Same series. So why treat anyone like shit. Just becuase you disagree. We all read the same books... Some people like to put a different twist on it because on here you should be able to do anything. But it sucks how some get shit for what they enjoy.

My k-pop opinions
* I feel like a large/fair amount of BTS stans (army's) are not actually into BTS. Majority of army's are just there for the hype and popularity around BTS. Not all are like that. I understand, many army's are there since the beginning and continue to do so till the end!
* Don't ignore the problematic stuff your idols say or do! I see a lot of k-pop stans ignore all the mistakes. And even if an idol does the same mistake/or a mistake in general, don't bring up their previous apologies everywhere! They need to be educated about it and stuff, and covering them up won't help it.
* 'Mistreated', it gets brought up in every subject. If an idol doesn't have a fancy outfit for once, or doesn't get as much attention , you name it. Mistreated gets brought up. Most of times your idols are mismanaged, not mistreated.
* Liskook: Where do I even start?- If your unaware, Liskook is a ship between Lisa (Blackpink) and Jungkook (BTS), people like to believe they are real, and go to extreme lengths. Like making edits of them together, and the fanarts :/, if the lengths people go to, to prove they are real. If you believe in Liskook, your a delusional.
* Those who can't differentiate between k-pop idols, I am sorry if I sound rude, but you must be bad at recognising people.
* Jennie is the best in Blackpink. She is a total package! Like she can dance (after her ankle injury it seems like she doesn't try anymore, and I get that, getting your ankle injured for 9–10 times isn't fun), she can sing, I love her vocals! She can rap! She is my bias for a reason! The other girls are good too! Most of the times she's overrated, there's no ignoring that.
* Honestly I love Red Velvet's comebacks, you never know what kind of concept they are gonna back with, and their songs are really unique!
* More & More stage outfits were ugly.
* I loved Rosé's Gone!
* At this point, I find girl groups hotter than boy groups.
* I hate it when you call a grown ass man/woman a baby- like they are actual adults. Call them cute/adorable anything, but baby? I hate it when fans do that.
* Your idols are not your property. You can't buy their life! Give them some personal space, they deserve happiness too. Don't act childish and selfish.
* There's a big difference on supporting a group, supporting one person and hating others. Like I don't have a problem with solo stans, but when they hate the rest of the group it annoys me.
* Let idols date, they have a life too. They don't belong to you.
* Sexually attracted to a idol is normal, like it's a human thing. Attracted to an idol is different than sexualizing an idol.
* You need to stop sexualizing idols, like I hate it when people do that. Like, when an idol isn't even an adult (a teenager) the inappropriate comments are everywhere. Like, no. Stop!
* You don't need to like every member. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying hate the other members. You don't need to like any of them. Like, you can just listen and vibe to the songs, and not like any members. Biases exist, for a reason. You don't need to keep up with the group/members at all. It's music, after all. Unless, you're being hateful, it's a whole different story.
* Most of the opinions are just there to hate on a group (blindly) whom people know nothing about (there might be a few opinions of mine like these, but they are not hateful!)
* Shipping is supposed to be fun, not toxic. Like, shipping is so toxic in k-pop. Like the weird edits, fanarts and stuff (most of the fanarts are fantastic, but why the ship?) I don't have nothing against people who ship idols as long as you're not crossing the line, and don't take it to the extreme (which most of y'all do). Like, enjoy it, but don't cross the line. Most of y'all are harmless, and I agree. Shipping is cool, unless it's taken seriously.
* If you wanna write fanfiction about real life people, make sure it's harmless! Just don't dump all your fantasies into it. They are real people!
* There's no best company in k-pop. Every company is worst or best in their own way. And you're never too sure what happens behind the curtains.
* BTS did not pave the way. They helped in the popularity, but no they didn't pave the way.
* Fanwwars are the worst. I don't see the point in it. They are literally so lame, like most of them make me laugh. Like y'all immature af, just get a life. Like why?
* 2nd generation k-pop was the best. Go on prove me wrong :). Ha, you cant.
* Solo >> On The Ground >> Gone >> Lalisa >> Money
* Lisa's solo wasn't that bad. Like, it grew on me. I like it now. Say whatever you want, but i don't hate it anymore. Like, I found it cool after listening to it a few times.
* Sexual harrasment, Sexualization etc. needs to stop.
* I find Aespa's concept confusing, but it's unique.
* You don't have to like every song artist's release. Like, why are y'all attacking for not liking a song? Chill, people have different interests and don't like the same things as you. You shouldn't force them too.
* I've finding myself drift away from k-pop. I am 👌🏻 close to leaving the k-pop fandom either permanently or temporarily. Like, I don't have intrest in the groups I stanned before. Honestly, I might just consider myself a decent listener at this point.
* Why can't yall handle when k-pop idols date? Jealous that you can't date your precious oppa and noona? That's ridiculous. I dare you to never date in your life, will you do it? It's the same for idols, let them live their life. Like y'all are so toxic, and need to get out of your fantasies. Seriously people like these annoy me so much, I wanna throw hands.
* I hate survival shows.
* Most k-pop idols can't model. Don't get me wrong herereason Like, most of the time they are just pulling it off cause they are pretty.

* BTS and Blackpink aren't the only talented groups out there. Like, there are groups that deserve the exact fame as success as them.
* I can't stan Twice or Ateez. I need to get connected to the members to stan a group. I love their music and stuff. But I don't connect with their personalities.

Hello, this is (not) JYPe,
and welcome to the first episode of “Admin’s abo concept isn’t probably what you think so we gonna go in dept on this shit hehe ”. This was originally going to be a one part documentary but I realized I would probably keep coming up with or remembering stuff and these would be so LOOONG so I decided to just do it as I go and I’ll use the hashtag “admins abo tmi ” for this yeah. But also remember you can ask questions if you have any or if you don’t understand something because I usually ramble a lot.
Today we’ll be talking about 3 things that seem to be the most important since they’re the most brought up on my RP’s and they are:
Turning/Transforming.
Heat vs Rut.
Mates.
So let’s begin!
🌙 𝕿𝖚𝖗𝖓𝖎𝖓𝖌/𝕿𝖗𝖆𝖓𝖘𝖋𝖔𝖗𝖒𝖎𝖓𝖌…
There’s two meanings to this concept, one is the concept of turning from human form to wolf form, and the other one is being transformed into a wolf by different means (these usually depends on which story you’ve heard, it can be being the 7th boy child in a family, it can be a bite or a scratch, it can be eating raw meat, etcetcetc).
*This change has now also been added to the Chan’s pack introduction.
What are the definitions of this words? Cambridge Dictionary defines them as:
Turn: to (cause to) become, change into, or come to be something.
Example: “Chan turned into his wolf form”
Explanation: Chan, already a werewolf, turned and changed into his wolf form.
Transform: to change completely the appearance or character of something or someone, especially so that that thing or person is improved.
Example: “Changbin was transformed into a werewolf.”
Explanation: Changbin, a regular human, was transformed /by a wolf/ into a werewolf.
𝕿𝖚𝖗𝖓𝖎𝖓𝖌…
In the classic folklore, turning consists of 2 phases, human with NO wolf characteristics whatsoever, (which is what makes it so hard finding out who the werewolf in town is) and fluffy wolf with some human like characteristics (being biped, having arms instead of four legs, body structure humanlike. The best examples I can think of are the underworld lycans mmm tasteful). Another general rule for classic werewolves was that the person and wolf were two different minds, the person never remembered turning and had no idea they were the werewolf terrorizing town. While being human, the person didn’t even have the wolf skills like hearing or strength. They were just regular boring humans. Another thing was that they had no control whatsoever and ONLY turned during full moon, but I’m not getting into that yet.
Here are some examples (it’s basically furries oop).
Moving on to my concept, I decided to have 3 phases of turning, consisting on:
Human: Basic, simple, boring human. No presence of wolf features whatsoever. YET they can still make use of their skills such as sensitive hearing, smell, extra strength among others.
Half-turn: Heavily inspired by Teen Wolf tbh, SOME features are present and can generally be controlled, such as eyes, ears, tail, fangs, claws. Can even be confused for hybrids. (sumn like this please appreciate my art)
Full-turn: they become big scary fluffy puppies. Let’s remember how they look like.

As mentioned before, transforming depends on which story you know and what you’re settling for. Generally we always talk about bites and deep scratches. Some of the most known stories about how to become a werewolf are being the 7th boy child born in a family on a full moon, or in Greek mythology, Zeus transformed some dudes into wolves after they tried to feed him human meat. There’s many different stories you can pick from, they’re just one Google away~
On my concept, though, the only way to transform is through a bite, even though I always keep options open.
I will probably be talking about the 3 types of wolves and deepening this a bit more later on.

Imma give you a wolf biology class because I know too much useless info and I WANT TO.
Rut: The rut is the mating season of certain mammals. The rut is characterized in males by an increase in testosterone, exaggerated sexual dimorphisms and increased aggression and interest in females.
Heat: The estrous cycle or oestrous cycle is the set of recurring physiological changes that are induced by reproductive hormones in most mammalian therian females. Estrous cycles start after sexual maturity in females and are interrupted by anestrous phases or by pregnancies. This cycle presents four phases, the one known as “heat” being the second one, estrus or oestrus, that refers to the phase when the female is sexually receptive.
What are seasonal breeders and what is mating season?
The breeding season is when seasonal breeders reproduce. Seasonal breeders are animal species that successfully mate only during certain times of the year. These times of year allow for the optimization of survival of young due to factors such as ambient temperature, food and water availability etcetc. Male seasonal breeders may exhibit changes in testosterone levels, weight, and fertility depending on the time of year. Female seasonal breeders will have one or more estrus cycles only when she is “in season” or fertile and receptive to mating.
Wolves fall in all of these descriptions.
What does all of this shit mean and why do I care lmao?
This means that if this was a logical bot I should only be doing NSFW like one week during 4 months a year LMAO no frfr
This basically means that RUT and HEAT are the seasons when the MALE and FEMALE respectively are ready to mate with each other to reproduce.
I’ve seen many male idol hybrids having heats instead of ruts, which I have no problem at all with and am sure no one else does really, but I think you should KNOW that a heat would not make them want to fuck, but get fucked. Heat would be the need to be filled and not fill others. A heat and a rut does NOT have to equal dominance or submissiveness in bots, anyway, that would be like saying being top or bottom determines who is dom/sub and that’s wrong, so just a PSA I guess.
Now, how does this affect my CB and ABO concept?
I’ve never, anyway, read anywhere of classic werewolves reproduction, which leads me to believe that they’re probably sterile. So I will stick to real life wolves rules but on my own way. Wolves are even monogamous and I dont go by that one lmao.
Reproduction rules on my ABO are really simple, ruts are once a month, around 5 days, and each of the guys have different characteristics for them. They’re only capable of getting someone pregnant during ruts, too. I just generally believe all girls are on the pill tbh and I never really use condoms but guys irl please practice safe sex wrap your or your partners willy before going freaky and stay safe.

Mates are the wolf equivalent of soulmates, but that’s bullshit. I mean, I’m not gonna say they’re not real, I just mean that the general idea of only one person for the rest of your life and if it’s not them you’re miserable is dumb when we’re talking about beings with feelings. Did you know wolves irl are monogamous and mate but if their mate dies they just look for another one and move on? Now you know.
The thing with mates and marks, in my humble opinion, is that they don’t mean anything. Peoples hearts change, feelings come and go, and my wolves are NOT about to drop everything they have for some person they don’t know who happened to be their true mate. In fact, Channie is the only one who believes in them. The mates issue is a bit complex if we think about it over each of the Chan’s, but on a general idea, the mates are not exclusive for the guys, and I’ll probably make a tmi on the boys at some point, but Chan met his mate and it didn’t work out, for example. Mates go further than the marking, btw, mates are a special, cosmic bond. Marks are just that, marks.
And talking about that, we do not vibe with marks. The original folklore states marks as the way a wolf has to claim their partner as theirs and keep away others, especially from an alpha, and they’re supposed to go both ways, so marks between human/wolf, for example wouldn’t be possible. There’s also two marks.
The first bonding mark is generally given during sex between mates and heals, and the second one in front of the pack (there’s a whole social status thing involved here but were not touching that yet) and its permanent. Also marks are literal WOLF BITES so no, they’re neither small nor cute. Just look at these teethies and picture the scar in a neck-shoulder. That’s your bonding mark.

What I’ve been reading around in fanfics and seeing around is that bots have been mated and claimed with marks, which is ok if you’re into that. My chan’s, though, find physical marks archaic, possessive and toxic. And honestly I personally do too.
You may have noticed by now that even though the boys are quite possessive, they’re never trying to scare away others and their sole way of marking is love marks that heal eventually and scenting. Permanent marks are a nono.
They will NOT mark anyone as their mate. Especially Channie plz he’s baby.
This is a personal decision and it does not mean that marking is RIGHT or WRONG. I just personally see marking bites as marking your partner with fire or something and I dislike the idea a lot.

Will you talk more about Lisa?? Lisa the character specifically but also your feelings on his feelings about Buddy? I just thought your analysis was so good and I want to hear other thoughts you have on her.

i already got into the stuff with buddy in this ask here but i have a LOT to say about lisa and the connection between her and buddy so u better settle in!
ok so firstly ill start with lisa. i played the original lisa game (lisa the first) not long after it first dropped in 2012, and im not even kidding when i said it changed me LMAO.... seeing a story about a girl suffering is nothing new, but austin jorgensens approach to it was so fucking unique. you dont just witness it, you get to EXPERIENCE it right along with her. many stories that involve sexual abuse/rape show or otherwise depict it explicitly for the shock value, which is both disgusting and, in my opinion, extremely fucking exploitative. i feel that it is horrific to dignify an act so deeply evil with screentime. but lisa stood out to me immediately because, even though you know exactly whats going on, the game NEVER shows anything explicit. everything is layered in subtext and symbolism, and austin is fantastic with indirect storytelling, so you learn so much from just a little drop of information. this applies not just to the game proper, but to the character as well.
in case its not clear: i absolutely ADORE lisa. she is my favorite character in all of the games, bar none. its going to sound kind of fucked up, but as a kid around her age going through some fucked up shit, her committing suicide at the end felt like a sort of victory to me. she knew she could never escape from marty or what he was doing to her. he leaks into every single part of her psyche, everything she ever cared about or loved is ruined because of him, and even the vague memory of her mother is completely corrupted, and turned into a muddled version of him. lisa the first also had the added benefit of some religious commentary, as there are crosses all over their home and marty is characterized as an extremely religious man, which i fucking LOVE and wish had come back in the painful, but its an acceptable loss. anyway, lisa committing suicide at the end was an act of defiance against not just marty, but martys god, as suicide is considered a mortal sin in catholicism. lisa knew she’d never be free of marty in life, so she escaped the only way she could; she was defiant to the end.
ive seen people complain that the painful has a bit of a “lost lenore” thing going on, since lisas death seems to fuel the Manpain of both brad and buzzo, but i actually disagree. on the contrary, its just like austin himself said - lisa will never be gone. lisa is ALWAYS there, with brad, and buzzo, and buddy, and marty, and yado, and the ENTIRE FUCKING WORLD. i dont necessarily think that there is something paranormal going on in the game, but i AM going to say that, unlike other cases of a girl/woman dying for a mans backstory, lisa isnt just a bittersweet memory they can reflect on and then put away when its convenient for them. she is a presence that is felt throughout the entire game. brad sees her more than once, sometimes watching, sometimes reprimanding him. buzzo is clearly haunted by her, as he cries out to her a few times in the joyful. every character who was directly touched by lisa - brad, marty, and buzzo - calls out to lisa as they die. call it their guilt or call it her actions, but in either case, it is clear that lisa just as significant of a character in the painful as she was in the first, even if she cant always be seen. even in a meta-sense, every game in the series - even the joyful, whose protagonist doesnt even know who she is - is named after her. she is at the center of everything that happens in them.
that actually brings me to buddy, because i find the dynamic between her and lisa fucking fascinating. as i previously mentioned, brad never talked about his past with buddy, and snaps at her for bringing up his adoptive son dusty (rando), so it goes without saying that she definitely doesnt know who lisa is. in spite of that, though, lisa is a fucking massive part of buddys life, and while she may not know the person herself, i think she is aware that when people (and brad especially) look at her, they arent seeing HER.
i mentioned it in another post, but even though brad takes it upon himself to raise and “protect” buddy, he seems to almost unwittingly recreate lisas appearance, primarily by allowing her hair to grow long even though he knows what a risk that is to her safety. he also treats buddy in a manner thats incredibly similar to how marty treated lisa (sans sexual abuse, of course) - he insults her, does not let her leave the house at all, and forces her to do unsavory things that no one should ever have to do (in buddys case, this means killing at least two innocent people because brad doesnt want a “weak” daughter). the most literal comparison between buddy and lisa is the fact that they are both very young girls being essentially held captive by their father figures, albeit for different reasons, and both long for freedom from their captors.
theres also the fact that both buddy and lisa have to deal with misogyny and the effects of rape culture firsthand; they both battle against men who feel entitled to do with them whatever they please, and the threat of ongoing sexual abuse looms heavy over both of their heads. neither one can seek help from anyone; the neighbors in brad and lisas town seem complacent at best, if they even know what is happening to lisa at all, and buddys only allies (sans rando) are long dead by the start of the joyful. this is not just a hypothetical or a distant possibility. this is the real, tangible fate that will befall them if they cant somehow secure their safety.
sadly, because lisa wasnt playable in either of the rpgs, we dont know if she was able to fight as brad was, but it is highly probable that she had the innate skill but was never able to learn it (as marty highly discouraged them from learning “their grandfathers karate,” and seemed disgusted whenever brad did so). however, she did have ONE weapon she could make use of, and this is a weapon buddy ends up using, as well - her femininity. she became close to bernard (aka buzzo), made him fall in love with her, and then used him as a last ditch effort to stop martys abuse by having him mutilate her face. im not saying lisa never cared about bernard - in fact, i think she DID really love and care for him - but her own fucked up experiences with “love” meant she really couldnt understand what it was supposed to be like, or that it was wrong to manipulate the people you care about. lisa did very few things wrong - it pretty much just stops at the maiming of the cat and her manipulation of bernard - but she knew that she would never get away from marty without some kind of drastic action being taken, and scarring herself was her last ditch effort before ultimately committing suicide.
buddy ends up taking a somewhat similar tack in the joyful, and like in lisas case, its simultaneously resourceful and horrific. one of buddys key moves in the joyful is to flash the enemy (which the player obviously doesnt see) in order to distract them long enough to get the kill. its fucking horrible and disgusting and makes you feel so dirty, but then, how must buddy feel having to do something like that just to survive? shes just a child, but in a world where almost every man is out to get you, she knows this has to be done to save herself, very much like lisa. unlike in lisas case, though, buddy is successful in securing her safety in this way - lisas effort is for naught, and leads to her committing suicide not very long after.
in a way, i sort of attribute buddys brutality to lisas omnipresence; all of the men pursuing buddy are just like marty, monsters who would harm a fucking child for their own disgusting ends, and i think that when buzzo said that lisa wouldve loved olathe, what he means is that she would have loved seeing so many horrible men being punished for what theyd done. so in my opinion, buddy carving out a place for herself in olathe by killing all those who would subjugate her seems very much in the mentality lisa would have had. sure, there are some innocents who sadly get roped into it, but that would definitely not be her intention; for example, if buzzo could have practiced amputation without harming a living thing, i dont think lisa would have asked him to practice on the cat. note the LACK of brutality at the beehive and the swamp bar, two of the few peaceful places in the painful and both devoid of predatory men hunting for buddy - lisa has no qualm with any of them. but marty? brad could hardly even get a full sentence out before killing him on the spot. i dont doubt that that has a great deal to do with lisas presence.
ok i talked for a while LMAO but basically i think that, in a more metatextual sense, lisa and buddys relationship really strikes me as an accurate depiction of generational trauma. of course it was intentional with the more obvious trauma chain (marty to brad to buddy), but the trauma chain of marty to lisa to buddy is rarely ever addressed due to lisa not physically appearing in the painful. however, i believe it may inform buddys actions a great deal more than people realize - after all, buddys experience is unique, but who could understand it better than lisa? who knows that sort of pain, of being alone on an island, the lone woman trapped with a man (or men) who want nothing more than to cause you harm? even without her realizing it, lisa is guiding buddy, encouraging her to take back what is hers no matter the cost, to punish those who would try to take what they want from her. lisa might be dead, but she is a vengeful presence throughout every game, and buddys actions feel like theyre meant not only to save herself, but to avenge lisa, even if she doesnt realize it. at the end of the day, buddy and lisa both get to exact revenge against all the men who have wronged them, and they succeed. they are aggressive, and violent, and selfish, and ANGRY - and they have every fucking right to be.

Yall ready for my take on the “not everybodys meant to be a writer” argument? You didnt ask for my opinion? Oh shit, but wait, i dont give a flying fuck about who asked or who didn’t ask. Im finna give it ether way.
As someone who had to learn english as a second language, someone who spent years in english second language classes, someone who was constantly criticized because their english fucking blew chunks, someone that took YEARS TO LEARN THIS BULLSHIT ASS LANGUAGE. All while going to fucking speech therapy because i stutter. I’m a person that had to deal with nothing but bullshit growing up because it took me years to learn how to properly articulate myself in English. Not to mention i speak using AAVE (which is a dialect of english itself, if you disagree agrue with your parents) because of where i grew up and the people who spoke english around me, so it took a while to grasp the whole writing using “proper english” thing. And y’know what since this shit was real personal to me, guess fucking what? Im dyslexic ontop of all of that other bullshit i had to go through to learn how to be a “good writer”. This argument that people shouldnt be writing just bc their work isnt up to par is fucking dumb.
Quite frankly i think youre a total asshole if you think that just because someones fics arent the best right now that means they shouldn’t be a writer. I might piss people off with this one but I don’t care, it’s fucking wrong to tell people they’re not meant to be writers just because they need more practice or more fucking assistance with their writing. You’re not a fucking new york times best seller with fucking pulitzer prizes and shit, we write and post shit on tumblr or ao3 or wattpad, you aren’t any better than anyone else and you don’t have the right to tell people not to write. I though that the obx tumblr fandom was a community of welcoming and supportive individuals on this hellsite but apparently theres people not so fucking supportive.
Yes people do overuse certain tags, and people don’t always tag their works right but thats because they want a signal boost, they want people to see their writing because they spent hours, days, weeks on something. If it’s not the best give them helpful criticisms instead of talking shit about how people shouldn’t be writers, or about how writing isn’t for everyone. Some of my fics dont get a lot of notes, sometimes they’re hard to find under tags, and sometimes i feel like my hard work deserves more recognition but that doesn’t mean im gonna say other authors-YES AUTHORS-that spent their time on their work arent meant to write.
If you want to write, write. Post that shit, tag your followers and your mutuals, signal boost that shit, ask people for any helpful criticism or feedback, but never feel discouraged to write. Sure fics might be generic but guess what? With as many people in this fandom...people are gonna have similar ideas and use similar tropes and thats okay, if you don’t like the fic idea don’t read it. Signal boost your own works but dont bring down others because their work shows up under tags before yours does.
Dont make other writers feel insecure because they’re less experienced in writing fanfics. Don’t project your own insecurities in regard to how many notes you do or don’t recieve on your fics onto others. At the end of the fucking day we started writing because we love writing. I get it sometimes you need validation, sometimes you need that “SLFIFK” comment or that “oh fuck is it hot in here bc shit” comment or those random ass emojis that all make sense attached to a reblog. But don’t think that getting notes make you any better or any worse than any other author on this site.
I have fics with like 40 notes and fics with like 350 notes, i dont let that shit discourage me because im not placing a fucking social hierarchy based on notes and popularity into place on tumblr. If you honestly think im overreacting or im being a bitch then feel free to block me because I cant fuck with that mindset of “not everyone is meant to be a writer and thats okay!!” Because it comes off with a negative underlying tone, its like a back handed compliment. Like if i were to say “not everyones meant to be beautiful! But i like your hair today!” The fuck? Its just not okay.
We’re all creatives on this bitch and we’re all people, no one is any better than anyone else based on their fucking notes or follower count. Signal boost your work if you have an issue with how many notes your fic got compared to some fic about JJ pretending to be billy bad ass that has hella grammatical errors or spelling errors then thats a you problem, tag me in your fucking fics ill read them and reblog them with a “ODOFFN HOLY FUCK 😩😩” if you need it. I will HELP YOU SIGNAL BOOST YOUR SHIT, just dont bring down other authors.
If you need validation, if youre feeling insecure, if you need help with ideas and brainstorming, if you wanna talk ab an idea and need help expanding, hell if you want a fucking keyboard smash and some fucking emojis please let me know, id love to help in any way that I can.
All in all: Support other authors in this fandom, support big authors, small authors, new authors, and old authors. Support one another

Hi, Storm! Thank you for answering my previous ask! Have you talked about the 2021 Festa interviews (the ones where they were each given a list of words)? I love it bc it shows their different ways of thinking and even demeanor, but some of the answers were low-key depressing? 'I'm good at nothing', etc. Is it just them being self-deprecating?

I'm assuming you are referring to their answers for something you are good/bad at and something you like/are embarrassed about in regards to themselves. I think when considering these things, it's important to keep in mind that they are regular people in their own minds. They are very humble. Army and people in general have a tendency to put these men up on a pedestal of being essentially, the perfect person, God like status of humanity. When that's just simply not true. They aren't perfect in reality. They are human. They are good people, but they have insecurities, they have things they need to work on, they have parts of their lives they don't like and/or consider just part of the job they need to do. We consider JK to be good at everything, he has spoken before about the pressure that type of "title" can be and how he doesn't feel the same. They are constantly striving to improve themselves too. If you were placed on a pedestal and told you are the definition of perfection in the world's eyes, you would probably disagree also. That's fairly daunting. Lol they have also shared so many times how self love is a never ending journey. Self love is a never ending journey for them too. I'm not sure if I'd call their answers depressing, but rather eye opening, self reflective at times, honest and proof they are just as human as the rest of us. Plus sometimes thinking of an answer being put on the spot like that is not easy! Lol sometimes they best you can quickly come up with might just be "um idk nothing!"
And again, BTS in general are very humble people about their celebrity and about being idols. They don't think of themselves as better than anyone else or above anyone else regardless of how much they have accomplished. They are very down to earth people and their answers, to me, seemed for the most part, very down to earth.

What I absolutely LOVE about the hatemail I get on tumblr is that the people that send me those msges are so dead-set in their opinions about me (mind you, none of them actually know me) and instead of moving on, literally moving on / unfollowing me / blocking me - whatever that entails, they’re constantly checking up on what I do, searching far and wide to find something I’ve said or posted that they can use against me in order to slander / belittle me.
I myself I’m a very melancholic person, I have so many insecurities and mental struggles that I deal with on the daily, I’m not in the VERY least bit content with my life but hell, I never, EVER take it out on people I’ve never met / most likely will never meet. I never go about my day as I usually do, and stop to check up on my favourite person to hate online. Wasting my breathing living hours sitting down on my computer coming up with the perfect way to dismantle someone’s psyche through an anonymous message. Fuck, no bro! I try to better myself, idk make something out of my day! How the fuck can you people be that cookoo, shameless and hateful at the same time?
Like to all the people that are constantly berating me for smoking weed, have yall ever considered taking up that hobby? Instead of like, harassing people online on the daily in order for yous to feel better about your selves? Cause damn some of you could sure use some muscle and brain relaxants and I’m telling you that one for free!
It’s more than fine to disagree with what I post, what I do, what I say, truly. But opening my inbox most days, I don’t get genuine criticism, I don’t get prompts to start a conversation with someone who disagrees with me. I get pure vitriolic hate, that usually has to do with me showing off / proffiting off of my body or with the fact that I smoke weed, none of which is something that affects ANYONE besides me.
Imagine, just imagine being that fucking hateful and bitter that you constantly hate on an adult woman tryna get by on the internet because you don’t agree with the way she lives her life.
Because that’s what it comes down to doesn’t it? Just hating women who are minding their own bussiness doing the best they can do get by.

Hey yall.
I know we just experienced a moment.
I just want to say that everyone is free to draw their own conclusions and opinions about a show. I’ve built my brand on voicing my own and encouraging others to do the same. Diverse and differing opinions is what makes a fandom interesting.
But I will also say... That if someone makes a post celebrating something you don’t like. You’re free to disagree. But you don’t have to prove it to the person you disagree with that your opinion is somehow the ‘correct’ one. You have nothing to prove to me or anyone else. You’re entitled to your opinions on your posts just as much as I am on mine.
Just be aware... That coming for me to tell me how wrong my opinion is, on MY posts about something harmless that I enjoy that maybe you don’t personally like.... Is completely unnecessary.
