have you tried paper rater (paperrater.com)? I use that a lot alongside grammary and pro-papers (tho my grammarly is edu version and pro-papers has a word limit)
paper rater is pretty helpful since it also grades the text and stuff ^^
It's saying I need premium tho :(

Thinking about how Ian Malcolm said that the art of learning your knowledge gives you the discipline to handle it (idk the exact line) and how John Hammond was a man who did not have that discipline because he profited off other people's work and just bought it, and patented it as his own. And that was why he was so reckless with the responsibility that came with it.
And thinking about how it is still relevant today. Like for example elon musk. Him buying the technology he is known for today. Him standing on the shoulders of the people who work for him so he gets where he has to. And how he never seems to take responsibility for the mishaps of his company. Its just...a lot to think about.

Look, the Jurassic Park movies were great but I will never forgive them for making John Hammond seem like a genial old lightly grey character who committed a big whoopsie :( like no he was the REAL villain (alongside nedry lol). He was manipulative and evil and a rich bastard who only wanted to maximize his profits, even at the expense of human lives. The book was a critique of him and his incredibly capitalist tendencies (that the movies oh so carefully removed). And at the end of the book, I was rooting for the compys ngl. He deserved to die, that man.

Small part from my review of jurassic park for school
One of the main themes of the film is the presence of nature and evolution in the complex biosphere of our planet and that any interference in the planet’s evolutionary process for our own capitalistic and material ends is eventually going to backfire in catastrophic ways. As Ian Malcolm phrases it, “Nature always finds a way” and that even in an incredibly man made and heavily monitored environment, the dinosaurs were able to find ways to reproduce and live on shows the incredible adaptive behaviour of the dinosaurs but also just the larger natural world in general.
The concept of greed is also a very central theme to the plot of Jurassic Park. The Park wouldn't exist if not for the money-hungry ways of John Hammond and his investors who want to push through with their project despite the incredible dangers posed by it and the number of people killed or injured in the making of it. The other example of greed here is Dennis Nedry who shuts down the power while stealing the dinosaur embryos because of the incredible monetary incentive offered to him. Both Hammond and Nedry put their own wants over the right thing to do, which inevitably ends with their demise.
Crichton also makes it a point to talk about science and the commercialization and commodification of scientific research. He comments on the lack of discipline involved in corporate science as everyone wants the results of the research but not the discipline and principles of the fundamental nature of the world that are acquired through long years of work going into the research. This makes it easier for the people in charge of the commercialization to partake in particularly harmful endeavours without having to worry about the consequences of their actions and the problems it could potentially cause.

Nothing can explain how much I hate the second Jurassic Park novel and how much that is influenced by the Jurassic Park movies (derogatory). Great movies alone but they miss the CRUX OF THE BOOK THEY DONT MEAN ANYTHING

thinking about how the (greek) big three swore to never sire any more demigod children because those children are just too powerful (dangerous) and also thinking about how the characters that, arguably, seem to have the greatest proclivity for cruelty in the name of justice or vengeance are also the (greek) big three children... there's something there, a connection to be made I'm sure of it
