I love to make AUs....but mainly only for Red Beans because I love their dynamic the most.

They have like...over 20 of them no lie. I just love making Jack and Nana fall in love in different scenarios.

Switcheroo: Jack is a lupine, Nana is a farm girl

Genderswap: Jack is a farm gal, Nana is a lupine lad

Parent AU: Everything is the same but Jack and Nana wind up have kids in the future (6 pups specifically)

Reverse moralities AU: Jack and Nana are antagonists instead of protagonists

Amnesia AU: Jack is wacked with a memory loss curse and Nana has to help him regain them as well as their close relationship.

Jukebox Musical: My favorite one-it's just a super simplified version of Beanstalked in a library setting where everyone lives in books in an enchanted library

Modern AU: In Beanstalked's case, this is just what Jack and Nana's earthly lives are since everyone has a Lore self and and Earth self due to Lore being a parallel world.

1920s AU: Jack works at a small bookstore while trying to make it as a novelists and Nana is a club singer he has a crush on

Pacific Rim AU: Jack and Nana pilot a Jaeger and punch Kaiju and kiss a lot.

Fairy Jam AU: ....This is literally just Space Jam but everyone is a Beanstalked character instead.

Fables Don't Dance AU: This is literally just Cats Don't Dance but Jack is Danny and Nana is Sawyer.

Pirate AU: Jack is a cabin boy and Nana is the mermaid who has a crush on him.

Mermaid AU: Jack and Nana are both mermaids.

Little Shop of Horrors AU: Nana is a man eating plant and Jack is the lovestruck shopkeeper who keeps offing people to feed to her.

Demon Slayer AU: Not to be mistaken for the anime of the same title. This is a more Bloodborne-ish AU where Jack is a demon hunter and Nana is the demon who made a contract with him to keep him alive and allow him to use her abilities in battle.

Alien AU: Not to be mistaken for the movie of the same name. Nana is an alien being kept on the ship that Jack works on that Jack has a very obvious crush on.

Slasher AU: Jack is a masked slasher and Nana is the final girl he has had a crush on since they were kids together.

Dragon AU: Jack and Nana are dragons...pretty simple tbh.

Pokemon AU: Jack and Nana are pokemon trainers in a new fairy tale based region.

Beauty and the Beast AU: Just the Disney movie but Nana is Beast and Jack is Belle.

Toy AU: A mash-up of Raggedy Anne's Musical Adventure and Toy Story. Jack is a homemade rag doll and Nana is brand new plushie.

Jackdaw AU: Jack is a bird person and Nana is the one who keeps him safe as he heals from a broken wing.

Halloween Town AU: Jack is the Pumpkin King and Nana is a werewolf. But tbh this is just Nightmare Before Christmas.

Lego: EVERYONE IS A LEGO MINIFIG

Ghost Bride AU: Set in a victorian timeish setting where Jack died prematurely and Nana keeps his heart in a locket on her so he can still linger around her and can fully interact with her. They are happily in love but everyone is scared as hell.

Enchanted AU: Jack winds up popping out of the fairy tale world and into our world where Nana finds him and has to help him get back home

Magic Mike...AU?: I have a list where I wrote all of these down and I found this on it and I am pretty sure this is from after I watched Magic Mike and thought it'd be funny if Jack worked at a club and met Nana after a surprise bachorlette party Ashe threw for her and they just hit it off.

Cat AU: Jack and Nana are cats-Jack is a barn cat and Nana is just a stray.

Dog AU: Jack and Nana are dogs witch Jack working on a farm and Nana being a wolfdog hybrid.

Nymph and Satyr AU: Jack is a forest nymph and Nana is a satyr.

Marvel Cinematic Universe AU: Jack is basically Captain America and Nana is Lieutenant Lupine (a role I made from scratch that is just the fusion of Peggy and Bucky)

I probably missed a few but yeah...I like to spoil Jack and Nana a lot.

I just finished the Scarlet & Violet DLC The Teal Mask (scarlet) and I think this is one of the dumbest stories we've ever had in a while. And I don't mean the Ogrepon and the Loyal/Toxic Three Legend, but more so Carmine and Kieran are just fucking dumb as fuck and got on my last ever ending nerves and playing messenger as a part of the game was really annoying to deal with.

Carmine's tsundere attitude got on my last God damn nerves and as someone who had to grow up around unstable mental health like that was not cute to witness her straight up bullying and threatening to hurt her little brother and everyone else like that. Like where are your parents and what is the deal with ur home life babe cuz your eggshell attitude is toxic as fuck. And also like bitch you think ur all that and a bag of chips but you're literally dog shit compared to Penny, Arven, and even Nemona had better depth and development than Carmine could ever dream. And you rollin with a Champion Level Bitch aka ME. So you can keep talking smack about ~oUtSiDeRs~ but you need to put some RESPECT on Paldea's name cuz u keep making a fool of urself and I'm embarrassed for you at this point.

Kieran on the other hand, is one of the most 2 dimensional Eren Jaeger ass wannabe characters we've seen in a while and when I say Eren Jaeger I mean in the concept that Eren had one objective on his mind the whole damn time and that never changed until he knew the truth and then it became genocide. And all Kieran talks about is Ogrepon this Ogrepon that until he hears the truth and then suddenly he's turning on us??? Like WHY IS HE TURNING INTO A VILLIAN JUST BECAUSE WE DIDNT TELL HIM A FUCKING BED TIME STORY LIKE HUH??? Bitch YOU STOOD THERE AND HEARD UR POP-POP SAY WHY WE COULDNT TELL U THE TRUTH U DUMB FUCKING BABY... cuz you was gonna run head first and TELL EVERYONE AND GET URSELF IN TROUBLE you fucking IDIOT... and what does he do??? HE TELLS EVERYONE.

Idk they just piss me off so bad. Like yeah it works out in the end but my God these two siblings are horrible and the worst part is that they're actually kinda charming by the end of it all and that just PISSES ME OFF EVEN MORE!!! Carmine actually takes us seriously and starts acting like a big sister would and Kieran actually takes on a big responsibility all by himself in order to grow and challenge himself to keep up with us. LIKE FUCK OFF CUZ YALL STILL ANNOYING AS FUCK AND I HATE THAT WE'RE EVEN STILL HERE WITH U ASSHOLES. this has been the most absolute mediocre ass school vacation of my entire life but hey at least I got an OgrePON PON WEI WEI WEI PON PON WEI PON WEI PON PON reference in a few times so~

Another thing I'm not really satisfied with is just how much the festival took a back seat to everything else going on. Like I LOVE the forced linearity of going through the day searching for signposts and Ogrepon lore. But why didn't they force us back to the festival square each night for a different event each time???? THAT WOULD HAVE MADE IT SO MUCH BETTER, THATS WHAT I WAS EXPECTING TBH. Like Ogre Ousting is fun and all but what about a live performance at the playhouse? And maybe a parade float down Revelers Road? FOR A STORY THAT FOCUSES ON A FESTIVAL THE ACTUAL FESTIVAL SURE DID PLAY A MINIMAL ROLE IN THE STORY.

AND WHY IS THERE NO FLY POINT TO THE FKN OGRE NEST LIKE FUCK OFF I HATE SCALING THIS MOUNTAIN EVERY TIME I NEED TO GET UP THERE

Overall I'm actually enjoying it despite the yelling lmao

I do have to wonder why they keep showing that .. mole? Thing on Kieran's neck... is it just a mole? Or is it something toxic.. has he been controlled? Are we looking at another Lusamine and Nihilego toxin situation?? Tbh I doubt it bc there's no other outward signs Kieran is being "possessed'... like his eyes aren't different colors and theres nothing else visible about him to suggest it. But goddamn they keep showing that mole and I'm like... okay... cool mole bro.... wtf lmao

Also Briar is a Pokemon in human form from Area Zero just like Geeta is. Their true significance will be shown in The Indigo Disk.

Headcanons for Sonic characters' living situations (family/upbringing/housing)

We don't see most sonic characters homes or relatives anymore post-Archie comics, which tbh I actually like bc I like them to stay simplistic adventurer characters in main-line canon, but here's a bit of a masterpost for what I like to imagine in headcanon world lol

Even tho it's headcanons, I like to base them off of canon information (one off dialogue, old comics, less played games), so ull probably learn a lot about their actual canon homes through this read if that interests you team

Team Sonic homes & upbringing

Sonic

I really really do not have any interest in Sonic being a tragic orphan lol. No interest in the Longclaw tragedy or him being alone his whole childhood. I think most can kinda agree that the tragic orphan main character trope is kinda overdone anyway, and honestly I just don't think it's accurate to his personality at all, at least not how I see him. My headcanon is that he had a pretty normal childhood, despite his super speed, and that the reason he didn't cause a commotion out adventuring at an even younger age than he already did is because he canonically grew up on Christmas island, so he couldn't get to the mainland since he can't swim. On TailsTube Tails said that the mainland is mostly urban cityscapes populated by humans (I assume with further away, more forested areas like windmill village and north glade further away from the human cities) and that the animal people mostly live on or at least come from tropical islands surrounding the main land (that are more tropical and similar looking to the early games with their palm trees and sunflowers).

I think Christmas island is probably tucked out of the way, and that Sonic grew up with a mom and dad and maybe even a little sister. I just think Sonic is such a big brother type, he had to get it from somewhere, he just fell into it so naturally with Tails like it was no big deal to him to have some little guy following him around tryna copy him, like maybe he was used to it. I bet his little sister is a lot younger though, like a bigger age difference than Sonic has with Tails, so by the time she was more self aware he was already off adventuring. I think before he left though, he was a massive trouble maker, always trying to find something exciting to get up to and burn energy with. I bet he had a skateboard and would be constantly hurtling around the island crashing into other peoples' stuff, so everyone knew him well. That kind of small town childhood where every mom and pop shop owner knows you by name and gives you a free little treat while you're out grocery shopping with your parents. I think everyone was shocked by his super speed at first but got used to it because, tbh, judging from other characters, although it's rare it doesn't seem that insanely crazy for animal folks to be born with some sort of special ability or crazy fur or eye color. I think the only reason Tails got bullied for his is just because it's so much more visually jarring and really seemed to be more of a deformity than a special ability until he realized he could fly.

I think Sonic would befriend someone who managed to get a proper ship that can make the distance to the mainland, and would end up begging his parents to go off and adventure, to finally stretch his legs and find the limits to his speed while he sees the world. In Sonic's world, and even Blaze's dimension, I don't think this is uncommon. Supposedly Amy ran off to adventure, Cream's mom Vanilla lets her go and adventure so long as Germerl or a team sonic member is watching her, and Marine from Blaze's world was also intent on adventuring no matter what anyone said. I don't really like when people try to say that this is like,, trauma inducing or something, because that's just how adventure cartoons and games are. Like, little kids go off and adventure the world in pokemon too and stuff, that's just normal for them or even an exciting opportunity that others envy them for, so, yknow, that's how I see it for sonic's world, too. He wasn't abandoned by his parents or anything he just wanted to go adventure and see the world outside his tiny island.

Obviously once he was off the island, at some point he ran into eggman and couldn't stand by and watch him do evil, jumped into action, and kickstarted their rivalry. Remember, he didn't start out doing cosmic universe saving conquests, originally he was just roughing up eggman to save little woodland critters! And during this cat and mouse game he met Tails, Amy, and Knuckles, with this rivalry obviously becoming more serious when Metal Sonic was introduced later on (Metal was introduced 2 years after Sonic's first adventure, so I like to think that at least 2 years really did pass in their time and so he's a proper teenager by then and ready to take on the challenge).

I really like to emphasize Sonic's adventuring sprit, and so I think he started out with the money his parents gave him to rent out motel/inn rooms or yknow those little rooms people will rent our of their homes for some extra money. Probably a few of the nights inbetween he may have used a hammock and camped out for fun, he does like to enjoy some quiet time in nature every now and then after all. I think by the time Metal Sonic comes in and Sonic's position as hero becomes a bit officiated, he's probably run out of the money his parents gave him at that point but doesn't wanna abandon his duty against Eggman now and his new friendships, and has found that he really loves this freedom and exploring. But now he's a proper hero, maybe not worldwide but definitely in these forested areas I mentioned earlier that are distant from the urban cities at the center of the mainland. So people probably take him in and let him sleep in their guest rooms or on their couch with Tails for free on the days they don't feel like camping out, yknow as thanks for keeping eggman at bay and saving woodland critters and kidnapped victims like Amy. Eventually in time Tails finishes building a Lab in Emerald Town with Sonic's help and that became their home base.

So I think Sonic lives all over the place, that he mostly sleeps at Tails' lab and has his own room there, but that he also still travels a ton inbetween adventures (because it's so easy for him to do, run for 10 seconds and you've skipped 5 towns) and likes to still stay at strangers' houses to hear their stories and sight-see, or will stay at whatever hotel or inn, or maybe even still set up a hammock if it's a night with good weather.

What about his family though? Oh he totally visits them as often as he can, but since it's a small island that hasn't made any connections to the mainland yet, they don't have a ferry system and are too far out to build a big bridge without promise of business to justify it. He hates the water so much and hates the boat rides there, so that's why it's reduced to yearly visits, but they still send letters back and forth all the time, with his parents sending pictures and updating him on his little sister, and Sonic sending back all the details of his adventures and new friends. I'm sure by the time he's become a big hero, like by sonic adventure 1, at that point the news of his heroism reaches his parents before his letters can, and they always make sure to write in how proud they are.

And don't worry!! Tails isn't left out by any means, he goes with Sonic to celebrate holidays at his family's house every year, and his parents make sure that he feels like he's a part of the family too, because he is! Besides, Sonic really appreciates the company for the boat-rides there and back, if we've learned anything from Sonic X, it's that he's not particularly a huge fan of long boat rides. Tails is Sonic's little bro through and through, and his little sister is simply thrilled to have two adventuring hero big brothers. Sonic's parents love to have Tails too because it gives them a chance to embarass Sonic with all the stories of how he would try to impress his little sister with radical skateboard tricks or setting a new record for running a lap around the island, but would always end up hurting himself somehow. Still, it made her laugh, and makes Tails laugh at the stories now even years later, so there's no real loss.

Tails

We all know the story of how Tails was bullied by the others in his village for either his second tail or his advanced skills in technology, depending on the media. Sonic was the one to scare the bullies off while running by one day, and Tails ended up following him and joining in on his adventure, so there's not much room for my own headcanons since he already has a past and home in canon (the lab/workshop he built in Emerald city). It's never said where his parents are in all of this, at least not in the cartoons, games, or IDW comics. It's unclear whether they simply were never there, possibly neglected him and therefore did not care when he left, or if they let him leave to adventure the same way Cream's mom lets her. The headcanon I ended up coming up with is that in Tails village it has a 'it takes a village to raise a kid' mentality, and although kids still lived with their parents, they were cared for by everyone in the village, and that it was predominantly foxes living there. Because of this, I think if Tails wasn't claimed by his parents and instead lived in a group home or orphanage, it wouldn't be too bad since he'd have the whole village of adults looking after him, but: This would also make it easy for him to kind of feel like he doesn't have much tying him to his home, just kind of generally cared for and not having a direct link or loyalty to a specific home. I also think that his village being majority foxes would cause them to be more closed minded toward any differences, like his second tail. So when Sonic comes by, and shows off how he's backpacking the mainland alone and embracing not having anything tying him down, Tails is totally star struck and wants to follow in his footsteps. They of course go on exciting adventures together and Sonic becomes his big bro, with the adventures slowly becoming more intense as they grow older and rise to the challenges and make connections to adventuring types all over the world (and beyond, into the future and other dimensions and other planets).

Obviously he needs a place to store his equipment though, when his skills expand and demand more than the tools and materials he keeps stored in a bag on the Tornado. What was a single bag and the tornado ends up blowing up into a full blown workshop, multiple mechas, basically a whole industry with his logo showing up even on common household items. I think that's how he makes money too to stay independent, through selling inventions or being commissioned for repairs or designs.

Also in the IDW comics, there's a small side moment where Tails asks Sonic to play games with him, and there's a panel showing them playing games on a couch, so it's clear that Tails' workshop does have a living area with the typical furniture and comforts.

As said earlier he visits Sonic's family every year whenever they can make the time for a trip and be sure they won't be needed for anything important (this becomes easier when the freedom fighters or the resistance/restoration is formed, depending on whichever continuation you follow, regardless it allows them to go off for a little vacation/home visit more often). Tails is nervous at first but after a few visits becomes excited to go see them again and feels like a part of the family, and a holiday without him just doesn't feel right at Sonic's family's house. Whenever he's there he definitely helps with any home repairs they may need as thanks, and eventually helps them with setting up a way to do video calls. Even with video calls, Sonic still likes to send letters back and forth too, it became a way to really sit down and digest all the big events that happen to him, like a way to help process it all while also chronicling all the good moments with his friends. Still he appreciates the video calls Tails set up, but since he never keeps any tech on him, they have to be scheduled so he can make sure he can go have a sit-down at Tails' lab to be there to answer the call and have a chat (this means Tails is always there for the video calls too!).

At first at Sonic's family's house his bedroom had been left untouched and still has his silly race-car bed and stack of comic books and stuff, and it isn't until he literally can't fit in it anymore that it's replaced, and when it is they make sure to put a second bed in the room for Tails too since they always visit together.

Amy

Amy seemed to seek independence from a really young age. It's implied in Sonic X that her parents really upheld gender roles and expected her to stay at home and stay away from rough housing with her hammer. It was her fortune cards that told her to leave home, that she'd find her hero out in the world, and so that's how she ended up chasing Sonic around. I really like that Amy still found fun in femininity despite her parents' influence on her, that she knows she can simultaneously weild her massive hammer and bark orders while still expecting to be treated delicately and wear her cute outfits.

Since Amy isn't included on a lot of Sonic's early adventures with Knuckles and Tails, I tend to fill this gap with her having to return home because she doesn't really have anywhere to stay except for her parents' home, unlike the boys, so she can't tag along, as much as she'd like to. By Sonic Adventure 1 though, we see her independently grocery shopping and such, so it can be assumed that she moved out of her parents house the moment she was able to, probably saving up all her money to get away, and likely not being especially fond of or attached to her parents because of their conflicting thoughts on gender roles and adventuring, although not exactly hating them either. I like to headcanon that she moved into a human city maybe because its just easier to be independent there, that the animal-people communities have a focus on family and community and build their own eco-huts, but since she was goin' it alone it was easier to move into a pre-built apartment in the city. I bet, too, that she was excited to live right next to Twinkle Park. I also like to headcanon that shes specifically living in a tiny apartment right above a bakery, and that she works there a little bit to pay her rent living above it, like Kiki's delivery service. Obviously she regroups with the boys now that she's able to and joins in as a permanent fixture to the adventures.

Later on when she's older (I like to think her outfit reflects her age, that she was a child when she had the green skirt, a teenager with the big red skirt with lace edge, and an adult when she's got the red dress we see her in now) she finally moves back into an animal folk community and builds her own eco-hut. She has people over for tea often and bakes little treats to go with it. Just like the annual comic, I think she draws the mini-comics of her friends, and has been drawing their adventures and funny moments for a long long time. She definitely seems like the type to draw diary comics, or at least any kind of diary. Even though she settles down in one of the animal folk villages, I think she still makes trips into the city to go shopping with Rouge or to drag Sonic to Twinkle Park (he pretends to hate it but actually loves the arcade section with dancing games and the thrill rides, and soon they start making it into a trip with even more friends). There's a moment in the IDW comics where she takes everyone on a camping trip, and it's shown she has a cute car too, so I think she goes out and does stuff often, having little planned out trips with friends.

Amy realizes that her cards were never telling her of a hero that'd save her, they were sending her on her quest to become a hero by spreading love and protecting compassion, just like what she said in Sonic Fronteirs. I think her speech to Shadow, the way she protected Gamma, the way she looks out for Sonic and holds together the alliances and friendships he sparks, I think that's her role in the group and I think it's reflected in the way she lives, the way she builds a home wherever her friends need to be, and the way she's one of the only ones shown to have a car to help connect friends, always the one planning the get-togethers like her picnic in Sonic Prime and camping trip in IDW.

Knuckles

Okay honestly I don't have a lot in mind for Knuckles but there's no fucking way he actually just sleeps on the steps in front of the master emerald I refuse to believe it I refuse-

So obviously in my headcanon Knuckles is not homeless/shelterless. Yea sometimes he probably posts up in a hammock around angel island, same as Sonic's habits, maybe sometimes he does fall asleep in front of the master emerald by accident, but I like to believe he has a little home to keep things in and rest his head and hide out from the rain, even if he's not materialistic.

Remember when he popped up out of a sewer manhole in Sonic Adventure 2? I like to emphasize his whole thing of like, climbing up rock-walls and digging underground with his knuckle claw things lol. So building off of that, I think there's a hidden hatch somewhere and that the master emerald's temple is actually hollowed out inside underground for the protector to make a home of. That way he literally lives beneath the master emerald. I'm sure he has a little spot to cook food and a bed and maybe a makeshift boxing area and that's his home darn it give him a home. Beyond that he doesn't have any belongings inside because mostly he spends time all over the island looking after the chao, exploring, uncovering new engravings and structures, etc etc.

Also, honestly, I feel like it'd be nice if he had a few more hobbies. Especially if he was like, keeping some of his culture alive through crafting/making art, like weaving or carving small sculptures or stuff like that yknow? He doesn't like to hold on to too many items though because clutter makes him feel overwhelmed so he exclusively makes them as gifts for others. When he gifted Amy a small accessory he made Amy tried to gift back an accessory of her own that she knitted but she soon learned that it was better to just visit Knuckles and craft together side by side while enjoying the weather.

Useless Cayla facts-

Cayla would love any type of dog. But chihuahuas? ...Really depends. Some are feisty little dudes.

I’ve said this in another post I think, but she’d name any animal a certain type of food. Whatever pops into her head.

Still thinking about that namekian frog to this day.

She may or may not have snuck a watch of Graveyard Shift once or twice. Needless to say, she’s avoiding rats. Off topic but that movie is a banger. She’d see like five second clips of Alien before Pu’ar changes the channel. Another banger Nothing could get past him tbh.

She’d have dog-type pokemon. You know why.

She tends to poke at her teeth to feel how sharp they are. She picked up that habit since they grew in.

❊ summary: jimin isn’t interested in fake dating, but he’s definitely interested in getting to know someone the right way. after all, he feels like he’s ready to put himself out there and give it all he’s got. so, he takes a risk in trying something completely out of his comfort zone and hops on the new, popular dating app - only to come across and get to know someone he didn’t expect to meet.

Jimin shoves off the straps to his backpack and lets the heavy piece of shit fall to the ground before taking his seat next to Taehyung at the library. He lets out a hefty sigh, lowering his head onto his arms that rested on the table.

"Dude, we're only a few weeks into school. How are you so tired already?" Taehyung doodles in his notebook.

"Shut up." Jimin groans, grabbing a hold of a crumpled piece of paper and tossing it at his head. "The question is, why are you always this excited? Your eyes are about to pop out of its sockets, weirdo."

"This cute girl said hi to me on the way to class." Taehyung wiggled his eyebrows and did his smug little smirk, making Jimin cringe and look at him with a disgusted expression.

"Yuck, why would she do that?"

"Hey! Take it back or I'm never giving your Pokemon Sword Edition back." Jimin's eyes widen.

"Don't ever."

"Hmph." Tae happily smiles and wiggles in his chair as Jimin accepts defeat.

"Screw you! If it weren't for me, you wouldn't have been able to experience it!"

"Right, anyways. It's senior year. Maybe things can be different, Jiminie." Tae gently nudges his side. "What if I end up finding my own peanut?"

"Would be quite nice."

"Should probably try out that app."

"Huh?" Jimin cocks an eyebrow.

"The dating app, haven't you heard?"

"No? There's apps for that? I don't quite necessarily find myself pondering on these so-called dating apps during my free time."

"It's called Coffee."

"Huh, interesting. Why, though?"

"The goal is to get someone to go out with you. Like for coffee or something, duh. Dummy."

"Give me back my game." Jimin smacks him upside the head, a small 'ow' from Taehyung following shortly after.

"Are you guys talking about the dating app?" Hoseok sits his bag on the floor before taking the seat in front of Taehyung.

"Mmmmmhm." Tae responds, continuing to doodle.

"How do you know about it?" Jimin looks at him.

"How do you not?" Hoseok looks back at him. "It's the talk on campus."

"So like.. what? You see pictures of girls and message them?"

"Yeah, it shares profiles of pretty ladies nearby. You have to swipe right if you like them, but you can't message them unless they swipe right on you too. It's called—" Taehyung draws a rainbow in the air with his hand. "A match."

"Huh." Jimin repeats, still slightly confused about the concept. And so he does a small head tilt before reaching over to grab his Epidemiology and Statistics book and flipping it open. "What ever happened to approaching someone and telling them you like them. You know, like back in the day?"

"Times have changed. It's more fun this way I suppose." Hoseok cutely smiles.

"Okay, the only fun we know well is yelling at each other during video and board games." Jimin lets out a sigh with a tiny pout. "As a matter a fact, I miss you guys talking about mobile games instead."

"Touché. I haven't been playing anything new, though. My stats are dead." Hoseok nods. "But the app sounds enticing, right? I'm curious."

"Same, dude. Should we just do it?" Tae directs his question towards Hoseok.

"I need to find a good picture of myself."

"Oh right—"

"Ah, come on guys. Really? I just feel like we shouldn't meddle." Jimin nervously responds. He was coming from a good place though, one where he knows very well that they'd get their hearts broken easily from a stupid app. Or maybe, he was projecting his own fear onto his friends. He knew they'd try and egg him on to try this app, and he'd give in. Then, he'd find someone he was interested in getting to know— only to be rejected.

Fucking ouch.

Just the thought sucks. Jimin knows him and his friends still aren't the most sought out boys on campus, even after everything they've been through during their junior year. Things eventually settle, the waters eventually become calm, the leaves finally fall— they're back to square one at this point.

They're just.. the same boys they were when they first started, with a few more appearances at parties and club events alongside their beloved peanut.

Oh well, Jimin doesn't mind it either way. But, since Jungkook and peanut have been going strong, Hoseok and Taehyung had become even more determined to be the next boys in line for someone's heart. Quite frankly, it'd be nice for Jimin, too. He wasn't lying when he had told Taehyung that minutes ago. But Jimin is afraid. He's afraid of feeling hurt, he's afraid of not being good enough, he's afraid of his innocence and virginity being the center of attention in a relationship.

He's afraid, and he just can't see anyone wanting to deal with that at this point in time.

Jungkook was lucky to have crossed paths with peanut— because although she had been the most popular girl on campus, she was patient, she was kind, she was incredibly caring. Sure, Jimin does play the devil's advocate a lot and he still has some hope in humanity, but he thinks finding another with the same attributes is super rare. He needs someone who would be patient with him, someone who would teach him the ways and not be upset when he does something 'wrong' in a relationship. Someone who wouldn't care that he didn't necessarily have a past, someone who won't mind reassuring him that he is enough. Someone who wouldn't lie, someone who he felt safe with and could easily trust.

It seems like a lot to ask for, so Jimin doesn't want to ask at all.

Let alone does he want to see his friends get hurt.

"Look, if no one wants to swipe right on us, it's fine. At least we can say we tried it." Tae responds, typing away on his phone. Jimin peers over his shoulder, only to see him making an account for this so-called dating app and entering all his personal information. Tae's mouth slightly hangs open as he focuses on the task at hand [as if it was something that required all of his effort for the day]. "See, it's not so bad so far."

"You're only making your account, mouth breather." Jimin fires back, making Taehyung give him a look.

"At least I'm making it, dipshit." Hoseok giggles.

"Come on, Jiminie. Join us."

"No."

"Why not? What do you have to lose?"

"What does Jimin have to lose where?" Jungkook asks sleepily, gently letting his bag fall to the floor as he sits next to Hoseok. Great, Jimin thinks. Jungkook to the rescue.

"Kookie." Taehyung says in a cute voice. "Why do you look like that? Why do you both look so tired already? The year just started."

"Ugh, it's not even school-related. I spent hours trying to teach peanut how to play the Miles Morales Spiderman game last night. She wouldn't stop swinging and crashing into cars or buildings. And then, every time a villain came up, she'd use the same attack move! She had so many upgrades she could do for her web attacks."

"All you heard last night was 'no, no, no! swing left, swing left! slow down!' or 'use the combo!' it's right there, showing which buttons to press! right— in— front!'" Jimin mocks him, making the table laugh loudly.

"And the best part— 'okay, okay, you're done. you're done.'" Hobi adds, reenacting Jungkook's tone when he apparently took the controller away from peanut.

"She was so, so cute, don't get me wrong. But I couldn't do it anymore." The table chuckles together once more before it dies down for a bit. Jimin peeks over at Taehyung going through his photos for the dating app, swiping to see which ones would be an acceptable picture.

"Which picture should I use? I need an acceptable dating app photo."

"What the hell does an 'acceptable dating app photo' even mean?"

"You know, something hot. Something all the girls will swoon over." Taehyung wiggles his eyebrows. "Like this—"

"I'm not entirely sure that's even acceptable to put on Instagram." Hoseok makes a face at his recent pictures that highlighted the fact that he had his natural hair color back, all while Tae furrowed his brows.

"You're unaware of what good art is, I suppose. Excuse you." Taehyung rolls his eyes.

"Oh, is that what you guys were talking about when I came? Jimin hopping onto the app?" Jungkook adds as he pulls out his laptop.

"Jimin is not hopping onto the app, thank you very much." Jimin responds for himself.

"I repeat— what do you have to lose?" Hoseok adds, now also plotting on the perfect profile picture.

"I'm gonna be honest, I don't wanna get my feelings hurt." Jimin gives off a nervous chuckle. "I feel like I'd get too dependent on the app, especially for reassurance and stuff like that."

"He has a point, you know?" Taehyung puts up his pointer finger as if to shush Jungkook.

"You get no say in this because you have a girlfriend." He says, with the most serious face ever. Jimin laughs at him before shaking his head and flipping the pages to his notebook.

"But yeah, I think I'll pass. Let me know how it goes."

"I still think you should just see it for like, a week or something though." Hoseok adds.

"He also has a point." Jungkook adds, disregarding Taehyung's previous comment.

"What did I just say, dude?"

"Fuck off, alright? If anything, you should get no say in what photos to use since you're plotting on using your weird instagram ones." Jungkook fires back.

"Where is the point in Hoseok's statement, Jeon Jungkook?" Jimin flips the switch and asks.

"Just try it out for a day or seven. You aren't signing a contract."

"It almost feels like I am?!"

"Think about it, Jiminie." Taehyung adds.

"I'm not listening to any of you guys."

"Well, I'm pretty sure peanut will say the same thing."

"Well, I'll hear it from her myself."

"Cool, she's coming in a couple of minutes." Jimin sighs. Suddenly, the library gets a little louder as the senior basketball boys and basketball girls walk in. It's a trip to the boys, especially to Jimin and Jungkook— seeing that their class were now the seniors walking around campus, and Seokjin and his boys weren't the ones causing chaos everywhere they went.

Actually, moreso Seokjin than anyone else.

But that stays in the past, things are well and everyone has moved on.

Jimin actually enjoys his senior class. He hasn't really had issues with anyone, no one topping the asshole rank like Seokjin did. Everyone was nice in their own way, even if it meant ignoring Jimin and his friends and not bullying them the way other senior classes have. It felt nice, felt peaceful for once.

At least, for now.

"Dude, shut the fuck up." Wooyoung says loudly, with that high-pitch laugh of his ringing through the loud section of the library. "Y/N, baby. Tell him that's not how it actually went."

"I wasn't even there, how am I supposed to back you up?"

"You're the only one who understands me." Wooyoung pouts playfully, throwing his arm around your shoulder and letting his hand hang loosely.

"Yeah, well. Not with this one." Jimin looks up and catches eye contact with you, giving you a small smile as you walk past. He's familiar with you, mainly because of your status as an athlete on campus and through sharing a class or two with you in the past. You were intimidating to him, though. Greatly intimidating. You and your entire team were. It could be the resting bitch face you unintentionally sported, or the fact that you were never afraid to speak up about an unpopular opinion in class and carried a tough persona. Jimin never really goes to basketball games, but he's certain you'd be just as scary on the court— maybe scarier. He'd simply greet you and keep his head hung low because he didn't want to cause any issues or be annoying. He kept his interactions with you to a minimum, and you had wished he didn't.

"Hello Y/N." Taehyung chimes in, knowing you through the Advanced Writing and Research class you both shared.

"Hey." You say softly, causing the rest of the boys to look up at you briefly before returning to the work in front of them.

"Suuup." Wooyoung adds his greeting for Tae and the other three before laughing along with the rest of the ball boys walking in with you two. You give Jimin one last look, but he doesn't spare you another glance. At this point, Wooyoung is tugging you along to the usual table your group occupies, sitting you down next to him as you settle to get started on some homework before participating in open court later tonight to run a few games with the boys.

"She's cool. Must be hard to balance sports and schoolwork."

"I bet." Hoseok adds. "I barely can balance school work and finding new horror games to play on the PC."

"She's quite intimidating." Jimin adds.

"Why? She's nice to me in class."

"I never said she was mean, Kim Taehyung." Jimin looks at him. "She just seems tough. Someone who wouldn't back down in a fight, you know? We're like polar opposites."

"Imagine she swipes right on you, then what?" Jimin shrugs.

"I don't know. She's pretty, but I don't think she would ever do that."

"Oh come on, Jimin." Tae clicks his teeth. "Just picture it for a second, will you? Would you go for her?"

"Maybe? Again, I feel like we're opposites. We might not click well. Or, to put it quite plainly— she won't have the patience for me."

"You never know. Maybe she has a thing for nerds cause she's got an inner nerd herself. That's why you should get on the app."

"Wow, you douchebag. You totally egged me on just to try and sell the app?" Jimin pinches his arm, causing Taehyung to yelp an 'ow' once again. "Besides, a thing for nerds? Yeah, cause Jung Wooyoung is definitely a nerd." Jimin rolls his eyes and continues his homework.

"I don't even think they're dating like that."

"They go everywhere together, how could they not be?"

"I think they are just close." Jungkook adds his two cents. "I'm pretty sure I heard someone saying they matched with Wooyoung on my way to class."

"Okay, I'm tired of talking about this app." Jimin turns to Hoseok. "Have you found any new horror games we can play?"

"I did my research on a few indie games, even came across some free demos. So far I kinda wanna play Anemoiapolis, The Broken Veil, Stray Souls, Backrooms. They all seem creepy enough. I can share what I found later when we get home."

"Question is, would you actually play?"

"Mind your business, Kookie. I can do my research and not play. However, I will." Hoseok sassily brushes Jungkook off, knowing he's probably the biggest coward of them all.

"I heard about The Broken Veil. I wanna test it out. Maybe we can hop on later tonight." Jimin adds, finally being able to focus on the rest of the homework in front of him while the table quiets down.

Later that night, Taehyung welcomes himself to the apartment while Jungkook gathers a few things to spend the night at peanut's. Hoseok situates himself at his computer, with Jimin and Taehyung pulling chairs beside him to go over his list of horror games he had wanted to look at. But Jimin isn't gonna lie, after peanut had showed up and gave her two cents about the app— he hadn't been able to stop thinking about it. Of course, it didn't help that his friends were adamant about getting him on the app even for a couple of days.

Should he just do this shit to see what's good?

"Hello?" Hoseok turns to him.

"What?"

"Dude I asked if you were ready to watch Hollow's gameplay video on this?"

"He's thinking about the app." Taehyung smirks, making Jimin cringe.

"Shut up, I was not."

"Hey, we already told you how we felt about it. It'll be good."

"Oh yeah? And how's it going so far?" Jimin fired back as Hoseok quietly sat in the middle of his bickering friends, pursing his lips together in a tight-lipped smile with his dimples starting to poke through.

"It's.. fine. That's besides the point, Jiminie."

"No, it's not. How's it actually going, hm? How many people have you 'matched' with?" Jimin puts up air quotes.

"It's none of your business." Taehyung says close to a whisper, trying to respond in a sassy manner.

"It's none of my business because you have no business to share!"

"Oh, fuck off! It's only been a couple of hours since we signed up!"

"A couple of hours is a lot, okay?"

"You don't even exist on the app so you can't say anything!"

"Maybe it's better that I don't!" It's quiet between the two, even as they continue to stare each other down. Hoseok lets out a breath and places his hand back onto his mouse to navigate the pointer to the play button.

"So, can I press play now?" Hoseok looks at the two of them. "Because I'd really like to get his opinion before I spend a whopping 2 dollars on Steam for this game."

"Yeah, go for it champ." Taehyung finally calms down and adjusts his position in his seat. As Hoseok presses play, he leans over once more just to give Jimin a final message: "By the way, when someone finally swipes right on me, I swear on Kratos' supremacy that I will rub that shit in your face until the very end." He whispers, causing Jimin to flip him off.

"Kratos isn't real, okay? And that's fine, cause I'll probably die first before that even happens." Jimin whispers back.

"The game is starting. For the love of God— shut up." Hoseok whispers in between the both of them. It finally settles and the three are able to watch the gameplay in peace, minus the screams and jolts due to sudden jump scares.

After a few hours, with the clock hitting close to midnight, they finally help Hoseok finalize a list of games they'll purchase and play together. Jimin gets ready for bed, turns off his room lights and lays under the sheets staring at his ceiling. He should be tired, but he's not. He scrolls through his phone, going through his Instagram explore tab and finding more gameplay videos to add to his 'Watch Later' list.

And then he thinks about the Coffee app, yet again.

"Goddamit." He groans to himself as he navigates to the app store on his phone. He takes a minute or two to peek at the reviews, eyes full of curiosity when it's actually rated 4.5/5 stars on the store, followed by all the written reviews.

"Ew?" Jimin furrows his brows at the last review he was able to glaze over. "My god, people are really like this?" He mutters to himself. His thumb hovers over the 'GET' button next to the app's icon. He lets out a breath, pondering on this sudden urge just to get the fuck onto the app and see what it's about.

So, he does it. He presses the button, figures he could delete it if he really didn't find anything beneficial from it.

Why not?

It's his senior year, this is called growth [in a way, I suppose]. Talk about stepping out of your comfort zone.

"Shit, shit, shit." He whispers to himself and whines a bit, watching the app finally download. He presses the icon and watches it come to life in front of his eyes.

Here goes nothing.

What dyou think rolycoly line? Im still upset coalossal isnt a damm train :”(

Rolycoly (perfect name) is honestly just great all around; just a giant hunk of coal with a single eye and wheel that it uses to move around. We don't actually have a lot of wheeled Pokemon (in fact, I don't think we have any others? unless Whirlipede counts), so this is a fun way to approach things.

Visually speaking, it also looks quite nice, with a two-color palette and a simple design. The orange eye pops really nicely against the grey body as well.

Really, the only complaint I have visually is that I feel like the wheel could've been just a hair lower down, as it's easy to miss and kind of blends into the rest of the body. That's a nitpick, however. Overall, it's a really solid start.

I can't decide if I love Carkol's face or hate it. On the one hand, it's got an almost deranged expression that kind of endears me to it; but on the other hand, it's weirdly distorted, like someone took the smudge tool to it in Photoshop. I also question it gaining two eyes; it feels like it should've kept the singular one, both because it's unique but also because that would make it look more like a mine cart (with the eye being the headlight). And if you really wanted to give it regular eyes, at least make them orange like the mouth.

Face aside, Carkol is decent for what it is. I like how the legs can function as both wheels and legs depending on what it chooses to do with them, and the mine cart idea isn't bad.

However, I do feel like the coat is integrated a bit oddly. It's just kind of stacked on top of the body and partially encapsulates the head in a way that just doesn't feel natural. Maybe if the body had more of a dip in the middle or even if the coals weren't piled as high as they are it would work a bit better.

I think Coalossal's proof that people only think so many Gen 1 designs are good because of nostalgia, because Coalossal is textbook Gen 1 and yet still gets a lot of criticism. Kaiju-esq bipedal thing? Check. Triangle Sugimori-style eyes? Check. Random third evolution that doesn't quite feel like it matches the rest of the line? Check. All it's missing is cat ears and/or a horn.

And that's kind of the thing. Like, on the one hand I like it because it is a classic kaiju-mon, and I really like those designs. And it's not a bad design in that respect, with some huge shoulder spikes and a massive, chunky body.

But on the other hand, it's really, really generic. The wheels are completely gone at this point and the singular eye has been gone, and those were Rolycoly's two most unique features. The only ting that really connects it back to its pre-evos is the lump of coals on the back, which looks... well, rather tacked on. As in, you could remove that lump and not loose anything (in fact, it would look better without it), which isn't good when it's the central theme of the design.

While I hear a lot of people wishing it was a train, I don't think it going in a less linear direction and being a kaiju is inherently bad either. It's just more that it doesn't do anything interesting. Have black smoke rising from those shoulder spikes, have ventilation marks on the stomach, have the stomach be a partially-open hatch full of coals, keep the wheels (a wheeled kaiju sounds awesome tbh), just something! And if you're not going to do something that interesting, at least give us a train instead.

While I have some issues with the g-max form that I'll get to in a minute, I gotta say that honestly? This looks a lot better than the actual final evo, at least in the sense that it's way more connected to the coal theme and has a more interesting design, being based off a furnace and even having the stomach vents like I suggested above. I kind of wish this was just the final evo, especially considering it'll go away in future gens when the g-maxes are inevitably scapped and we're left with only the original line.

With that said though, it's not perfect. First, those super spiky, crystalline (???) shoulders look out of place and are bizarrely thin and spiky in an otherwise chunky design.

Secondly, there are all these random plates and greebling (yes that is a real word, look it up) all over the body that just distract from the furnace thing and make it busier than it needs to be.

And thirdly, it took me a while to place what looked wrong about this thing's body to me, but I think it's the head. The coal obscures it, but the head is ridiculously tiny compared to the body, and the way the coal rises so far above it and over it creates the illusion that the head is in the middle of the body instead of the top, making it look even sillier.

So as a whole, Rolycoly's a wonderful design and Carkol's not bad, but Coalossal's just kind of generic and the g-max ist oo busy and has some wonky anatomy. With some retooling this could've been a fantastic line, but as is it's a strong start with an underwhelming finish.

no thoughts, just sapnap and dream's dynamic... to think all this started because baby sap and dream got teamed up for a game on a minecraft server. they've known each other for almost a decade, they've seen each other through everything. relationships, school, youtube, you name it, they were there for the other. sapnap saying he'll go wherever dream goes before he even made a name for himself on youtube with no doubt that his best friend would succeed. dream constantly raving about how talented sapnap is at minecraft and calling him brother at any milestone. dream saying that he thinks him and sapnap are platonic soulmates and them moving in together. them having designated days for this specific food and sapnap meeting dream's mom and her loving him as if he was her own son. drista liking sapnap and teases him like she would dream. sapnap talking to dream about their future and him being uncle nick to his kids and the fact that he thought of the future and seeing himself still at dream's side makes my heart warm :( there is no doubt in my head that they're brothers for life.

dream just entering sapnap’s room and sitting criss-cross on his floor just to accompany him and talk to him just exudes their brother energy. sapnap wanting to eat with dream on their burger day will always get to me like... I think it’s really fucking sweet when people wait for their loved ones to sit down and eat with them. like that’s how much you love their company- when you want to share such a simple every day task with them... that’s so fucking wholesome 🥺 and when dream and sapnap watched boxing together and dream sending a text message to him to remind him... i love them so much gosh

i also remember super fondly when sapnap was playing valorant on his alt stream, dream came in and then sapnap started showing off his gun skin collection. and then he was like “look this one is an axe, like a minecraft axe, you’d like that right?” and then he let dream pick out the skins for guns and IDK that moment itself also just POURS brother energy and makes me so fond of them...

sapnap did his best to gain patches’ love and trust by leaving his door open so she can enter his room whenever, by feeding her despite her more or less complicated meal, how he always boasts about patches. and remember when sapnap was with karl for a week and he was like “i can’t wait to go home” (x) home being dream and patches. i just... it got me punching the fucking air in the best way possible. and connected to how you mentioned sapnap will become uncle nick to dream’s kids... they truly are a family already :’)

moreover, i remember they made these smoothies/sandwiches once over video call when they were younger and i was like aw, that’s sweet. but then - here’s the tear-jerker - them making mayo together present day with dream’s mom and dream sounding so fond about the whole thing and what he learned with sapnap like 🥺 (also pls supply us food pictures with your taco tuesdays and your burger days they sound so good)

i will never not wipe a tear whenever i’m reminded that sapnap said he’ll follow wherever dream goes. he trusts him so fucking much and respects him too and it’s mutual!! like dream is 100% so proud of sapnap and respects him just as much for everything he’s done (not just for his minecraft skills but for bringing home bank from the mrbeast event and the pokemon thing with karl) oh god and this (x) has happened more than once too. i love it when dream compliments sapnap it’s so sweet <3 and whenever sapnap is like “only dream is cool” or like “dream is so smart” (sapnap is dream’s number 1 hypeman you cannot convince me otherwise) like best friends supporting and praising each other you love to fucking see it !!

and sapnap takes every mf chance to promote roadtrip, like mans sings that song like it’s his fucking anthem and you know what?? it probably is at this point (rightfully so). he never fails to sing it at least once every stream (probably an exaggeration but tbh i feel like he actually has) and god i love him so much for that he supports dream so much at every given moment and unabashedly loves that song. i cannot wait for him to start singing mask.

oh my god i will never ever forget how sapnap and dream POPPED THE FUCK OFF in sky battle in their MCC11 together. like holy smokes their synergy in PvP is so unrivaled, dream also mentions how in sync they are. like dream’s health was low once and he asked for a heal (all of this was in a pressure situation with the barriers closing in and in the middle of a battle) and apparently sapnap immediately reacted and splashed him with an instant health pot.

oh and in their manhunts, their battles are so intense... like sheesh the lava fight and the joust fight is truly Iconic !! dreamnap pvp battles are always so epic

some more brainrot: sapnap has seen the car dream mentions in roadtrip. sapnap has seen the warehouse for dream’s merch, also has every dream hoodie. sapnap also changed his own merch line over to dream as well. and sapnap has a miniature dream (dream’s youtooz i’m assuming) in the background (x).

in conclusion, dream and sapnap’s friendship is literally unrivaled, i love them to fucking death

Meet Lonnie

So uh...May have made a Hardenshipping fankid.

His name's Lonnie, an orphan street kid that Archie and Maxie adopted who counts as a fankid in my eyes, god damn it.

I can’t draw muscles or children to save my life.

Originally @cryptidanaphafsi did this I with their fankid I believe?

Info under the cut because I really started to ramble about details...A lot.

Bad Quality picture, but his adult versions both have a keystone in the middle of their mask that they use for Mega Evolution.

Notes:

RSE canon is Emerald, which leads in Alpha Sapphire in the future, though in this canon way, RSE events get resolved Without a protagonist. Hypothetical game futures for the SM and USUM games.

RSE Version -

-Still living on the streets at this point, 8-10 in age.

-Met a few times over the course of the story, usually found hiding around a corner after an encounter with Maxie or Archie(outside of hideout encounters), seems mostly in awe of how cool the plans seem.

-Selectively mute, if talked to he'll make gestures towards the player but since the player is about ten, all you really get from talking to him is "...."

-Jumpy, running off as soon as the player is done talking

-Vitiligo

-In the Sapphire & Emerald versions of the game, post game, he's absolutely Terrified of Kyogre, developing Aquaphobia as he grows older.

-Sometime post game, Archie and Maxie pick him up bc he still seems to tag along just behind one of them, and hey, the kid needs a home. And when they’ve patched things up, they’re really good dad’s.

ORAS Version, constants-

- Adopted pre-game and raised by Maxie and Archie before they split bc of differing ideals...again.

- Mid-twenties.

- Team Magma Admin.

- Aquaphobia from past trauma, selectively mute.

- I can't draw muscles but he's definitely the strongest person there, thanks to Archie and a bit of Matt.

- As an adult, Vitiligo patches have spread and caused part of his hair to grow in white.

- Personality wise, he's a rather nice man, only really being a sore loser. And takes after Maxie alot in the brains department, including dumbassery.

- He’s dating both an Aqua Grunt and a Magma Grunt, don’t tell his dads though. A grunt in the Magma hideout asks you if you want to place a bet on that happens when the bosses find out, then realizes you are Not one of the grunts, and runs off.

- Aqua Grunt is named Dew

- Magma Grunt is named Ashe

- I will draw them eventually, they will be mentioned elsewhere.

Omega Ruby -

-he appears somewhat sporadically, usually around Maxie. Fought once at Mossdeep city when the player beats the gym, viewing the player as a threat to Maxie's goal...and wanting to make use of himself, aquaphobia keeping him from following the rest of the team down to the Seafloor Cavern. Team: Crobat, Camerupt, Mightyena, Sealeo.

-A Grunt, Ashe, follows him around and acts as an interpreter. Talking directly to Lonnie is always "..." before the grunt buts in to explain what he's trying to say.

-When defeated by the player, he'll turn to the grunt, signing furiously, only for the grunt to exclaim "I can't say that to a child!" before Lonnie leaves in a huff.

- During the Delta Episode he's fought at the Magma Hideout, without Ashe, absolutely Livid about what Zinnia did to Maxie, and fighting the player as soon as they enter, seeing them as just something else that'll upset his dad. Team: Crobat, Camerupt, Mightyena, Walrein.

- Post Delta Episode, you'll actually find him alone in a house on the Battle Resort. When talked to, he still won't talk, but after interacting with him Maxie walks in to explain that he and his son were there, trying to lay low, relax a bit, and they're waiting on "a certain someone" to show up for a talk.

Alpha Sapphire Version, aka the Canon Version-

- Not very active story wise, always seen rather ominously popping up mere seconds after an interaction with Team Aqua. He doesn't have an interpreter this time, so all the player really gets is "...." then a yes/no text box before he leaves.

- Appears on Mt. Chimney with Maxie to try and stop Team Aqua's little attempt. Maxie will actually translate some of what Lonnie's trying to say, and while it would be nice, he doesn't exactly explain Why Lonnie tends to be tailing Team Aqua, Archie most specifically

-And ho boy. When Kyogre gets awoken, this poor man is having the Worst day.

- In Sootopolis, he's seen quite visibly shaking, signing Something at Archie, who might be having a "Oh shit." moment and a half because his Son is VERY MUCH AFRAID OF WATER, AND VERY MUCH CAN. NOT. SWIM.

- So yeah. Not a fun time.

- Half of what he's signing is ruined by how shaky his hands are. Ashe looks ready to strangle Archie, and Dew is reeling from the reality and Actually starts cursing Archie out as soon as the player leaves to handle Kyogre.

- Tbh if the two boys didn’t start trying to murder Archie first, Maxie might’ve.

- When Kyogre is captured, when the player leaves and all is said and done, he gives the player a piece of Cameruptite with a small little Thank You note.

- Battle Resort/Battle Maison, he is once again found in a house, but this time Maxie is already there. And once the player talks to the two, Archie walks in, but when that happens, the player is asked to leave so they can have a Family chat.

Sun & Moon Games-

- Okay this is just me being self indulgent and including him in my favorite games of the series, plus it’s just neat.

- Basically, he’s there on a honeymoon with Ashe and Dew.

- Even after the teams disbanded, he’s very partial to his Magma outfit. Only real change coming coming from the removal of the Magma symbols on his vest. Still keeping the combined symbols on his mask.

- More or less appears as a cameo. The only reason they’re even having a Honeymoon in Alola is because it has both Water and Volcanos near eachother.

- Shows up in post game, investigating the Altar of the Sunne/Moone as the idea of other worlds really peaked his interest.

- Funny Images: 6′0″ string bean and a 5′7″ man with average muscle trying to carry a 6′5″ man with muscle from hell because the waves touched him and he freaked out.

Ultra Sun & Moon Games -

- Mostly the same.

- With the addition of the player actually getting his help against Rainbow Rocket

- When reaching the mansion, Lonnie will be there. Along with Ashe and Dew.

- He’ll then “ask” which side the player wants to take on, fighting either Archie or Maxie depending on choice. Vs. Archie, he takes Ashe with him, Vs. Maxie, he takes Dew. The other of his husbands goes with the player to help handle the other boss.

- After this, you can find Lonnie, Dew, and Ashe at the battle tree.

- Funny Images: Trying to get Lonnie onto Aether, a man made island in the middle of the ocean.

Pokespe Version -

- His age is more me throwing darts at a board trying to guess when shit happens.

- He’s alot more playful and joking in this version.

Ruby Sapphire Chapter -

- 16

-Actually adopted prior to the Ruby&Sapphire Chapter, but in a surprising twist, stays mainly with Archie.

- Interacts with Ruby and Sapphire once, maybe twice through the whole Manga.

- Hard for Archie to be intimidating with a giant of a teen in a life jacket clinging to him everytime they get near water, but he makes it work

- He stays with Arche and team Aqua for two reasons and two reasons only

- One, he lacks past trauma with Kyogre in pokespe, thus doesn’t fear water as much and can stand to be around it more. Two, alchoholics scare him more than water ever could.

-Along with that, Archie also has the safer public persona, so win win on his part

- Lonnie, being a teen, does tend to wander though. Barely seen for most of the chapters. When Archie and Maxie have their fight, he's there for a split second, before letting out his Crobat and fleeing.

-I don't have it all ironed out, but basically, the whole battles between Magma and Aqua through the whole arc have slowly built up this fear in Lonnie's brain when it comes to his dad's, and this is the tipping point.

- Sadly, both leaders are a bit preoccupied to notice at first that he's gone, and it's a fullblown panic after the fact.

-Sadly tho, this doesn't slow down their plans. But Blaise and Amber are put in charge of trying to track him down and find him.(Not in a bad way, more in a Extremely worried parents with a missing son way)

- Cue end of arc.

Emerald Arc

-still 16

-Makes brief cameos, he tends to linger around the back.

- Actually, screw it, I'll make this pretty later but he and Emerald do become friends.

- Has a small interaction with Emerald, writing about how he finds his equipment cool, and is in awe of how he calms pokemon.

-And boy oh does this lead to some Fun

- Cut the confrontation with Guile in the cave, the first Jirachi attempt

- Alot changes here.

- First of all, while Jirachi still escapes, Guile lingers for a moment. Looking at Lonnie for a long moment. And while he does 'reflect' back the attacks with his sword, he sends the attack flying off into a wall instead of at Emerald and Lonnie.

- Later, Guile actually snatches the poor kid, pulling off somewhere just to have a few moments to make sure he's okay

- If you know the manga, you know it's gonna be revealed to Lonnie at this point that Guile is, in fact, Archie. And while he tries to avoid the details, he does tell Lonnie he needs Jirachi to fix things

- Lonnie assumes, sadly naive, that this has to do with Maxie and their family. Even asking Archie where his other dad is, only to be met with silence.

- That doesn't settle well with him, actually demanding to know what happens, atleast as much as you can demand when you can’t talk. The last he heard about them was nearly destroying Hoenn so what happened?

- Archie doesn’t tell him, straight up Refuses to tell him what happened.

- This does not go well. Leading to Lonnie once more running off.

- Lonnie keeps in touch with Emerald after the arc is over, basically adopted him as a little brother because they’re both weird looking kids, Emerald being unusually short, and Lonnie having Vitiligo.

- He runs into Amber after this and kind of just, vibes there, treats Amber like an uncle, and that’s who looks after him for the next few years.

ORAS Arc -

- 20

-Lives with Amber, mostly helping the man with fishing and all around, just trying to have someone around he can 'talk' to without needing an interpreter or to write down every word he says.

-Team Aqua....2!

-He does end up joining the New Team Aqua, since he feels more safe with them in Pokespe. Along with this, he’s curious about where they came from and what’s going on here.

-Looks most like my concept sketch for him in this version.

- Eventually just, disepears in the midst of fighting. He's learned enough and doesn't want to face that all.

- Listen when I tell you. When he sees Maxie and Archie, he's pissed.

-And when The Dustening happens...

- He actually does cry. Hell, it's probably the only time he speaks, begging in a hoarse voice he never uses for his dad's to stay there. Just for once. Let them be a family just for Once.

- It doesn't work.

- Funny Images: Emerald, looking up at Lonnie who is like 3-4 times their height: “I AM GOING TO STEAL YOUR KNEECAPS!!!!” Lonnie, amused, signing: “You-can-try.”

-Pokemon Seen: Crobat, Sharpedo, Sandslash.

Sun and Moon Arc -

-He actually appears here.

- Listen, he's a smart man, and he knows a lot.

-Appears after that small time skip after Sun and Moon disepear through the portals, ultimately he's here investigating the portals.

- He 'talks' with Kukui and Burnet to try and figure out what's going on.

-I don't know how it'd be incorporated, but basically, he's trying to figure out where the Hell his dad's are. And if these Wormholes can help him, by god is he going to use them

- Knows that, most likely, they’re dead and gone for good. But still holds out hope that somewhere out there, they’re still alive.

- He's still wearing the life jacket. Less for Aesthetic, more because he’s scared shitless about being on an island.

- Are this chapter is where he would have started dating Dew and Ashe, having met them when that whole, other Team Aqua & Magma were made in ORAS.

One Trainer’s Trash is Another Pokemon's Family

So if you didn't know, i ended up taking a hiates from writing ANYTHING for a bit, but I was just sitting around earlier and thought "huh, there was that oneshot I kinda wanted to write" and BOOM im formating this at 2am when I finished writing so I can just post this in the morning.

Also note me writing this does not mean I'm fully back to writing because I tbh have no clue when I'll be back in full writing mode, a lot of stuff is going on irl around health issues (I'm good dont worry, just trying to figure out this issue so we can fix it) and my mind hasn't been able to put words together into written sentences well recently for anything, so exspect everything and nothing!!

Green and brown surprised eyes hit his own, he felt as the others eyes looked him over from his unnaturally purple eyes to dark brown fur.

"I.. I-" the other stammered in surprise.

"Can we keep him?" His founder vibrated, excited. '

A chance encounter is about to change three lives forever

“Slow down!” the Eevee hissed to his companion, running through the crowd of humans to catch up. His green and brown eyes swept the crowd, making sure no one grew suspicious and followed the two Eevees, sighing as he thankfully saw everyone's gaze sweep past them, uninterested.

There had been a few incidences when a trainer or a ‘nurse’ had tried to catch them, whether for his strange fur markings, trying to get his friend’s fur cleaned (no one held him for long once that information was leaked), or purely for them being Eevees. He’d heard it all, common lines being “hey are you lost?”, “where is your trainer?”, “is that a wild Eevee?” and of course, the most common

“I’ve got to catch it!”

Heh, no one had succeeded yet, and he didn’t plan that to change any time soon. Or ever.

“Not sorry” the simple line snapped him out of his thoughts as he looked over to the grinning Eevee that probably did need a bath “but I heard yelling in the back alley of the Good Place, and I just have to see if it's new!” The ‘Good Place’ was a restaurant the two constantly saw in their travels from town to town. While they couldn’t read the written name, and wouldn’t dare get close enough to a human to simply know the name when it had no use to them, it always had an identical symbol at every location. It was his trash loving companions (and though he would never admit it, his own as well) favorite location to get food.

“Very well, lead the way” with a flick of their tails, they rounded the last few corners to the back alley where two large dumpsters lay. As a Trubbish scurred off at the sight of them they both leapt up, balancing as they opened one off the lids.

He sat watch as the other squealed and dove in, rummaging through and ripping open plastic bags with sharp teeth. They always had the same parts when working together, he would keep watch making sure no one saw them from the regular path or had any workers walk out the door, while the other would search, eating what he wanted and tossing stuff up to save for later. They had tried to swap jobs once, but it was a mess that nearly got them caught if it wasn’t for his own keen ears, so they kept to their own and worked together.

He glanced at the door, the symbol imprinted on it. Doing this dumpster diving always reminded himself when he was alone. How he’s grateful to have a friend. Actually, doing it at the Good Place always reminded himself when he met the trashy Eevee. It was just after-

A paw swatted at his face, causing him to dodge. He seemed to be falling into nastolga easily today, he thought shaking it out of his fur.

“Did you hear me? I said all these bags have already been looked through” the other huffed “they must have used the other one, which is weird because they usually use the one closer to the door first….” he frowned, confused before brightening “anyways can you help me open the other lid?”

The clean Eevee nodded, hopping across to the other dumpster.

Sta- he shivered, the angry yells still echoing in his ears. She was so mad when she discovered there was no dragon evolution, when she finally discovered he was completely useless. He glanced at the snapped pokeball at his paws, fallen through a space between a few garbage bags.

He knew he had to get out of here, but what was the point? He was with a trainer up till now, and while she was horrible he was still at least alive. But to try and survive on his own? No, he might as well just curl up on this garbage, might as well just

A scene flash in his mind, of a Pecha bush laying under a sprawling indigo sky. Two other faces similar yet different then his, laughing, smiling.

He couldn't give up, not yet, not until he could find them again.

Chatter and a crash of heavy plastic hitting a wall distracted him from the thoughts racing through his head. He pressed low against the bags, ears flat as he waited. Were there people taking trash out? No.. that didn't sound human, that sounded

The lid thunked twice, before late afternoon light poured down onto his dark brown fur. He froze as another pokemon fell down in front of him, another Eevee.

He was bigger, though everyone was bigger. His fur seemed to be a normal shade of brown, yet it was hard to tell with all the dirt and dust coating it. He looked up into the newcomer's eyes, surprise and delight filled them to the brim.

"Oh? OH!" The other gasped for only a moment before flashing forwards, grabbing him lightly by his scruff and before he knew it St- he was in open air and sat on the hard plastic lid.

"Hey hey!" The Eevee scrambled across to another Eevee, his turned back to the both of them. The third Eevee's ear twitched to show they were listening, watching the humans walk by.

"I found a child in the trash!" Trash Eevee declared happily. The Eevee on watch somehow looked skeptical from behind, but curiosity got them to turn around.

"Hmm" seemingly gaining his composure, the one on watch came over to inspect him further, sniffing curiously at his fur "I don't think so, he smells too much of humans" the trash Eevee visibly shrunk.

"No!" He cried, snapping his jaw closed at the sudden speaking "I, I me- mean no, I had a trainer, but I don't have one anymore" he attempted to explain, hissing at himself for stuttering.

"I uh" he coughed, attempting to clear his throat, "I, I'm sorry for disturbing your search" he flicked his tail toward the two before curling it around himself, finally looking into the others faces. It was at the moment he noticed the strange markings around the single green eye on the watcher.

"It's no problem," the calmer one replied. He looked as if he were about to continue, before the trash Eevee popped "hey, have you gotten food today?"

He blinked, thinking about all that happened since dawn. Dawn, when his trai- ex-trainer had learned the news.

"I.. haven't?" He tried, not wanting to test his luck. They were strangers, he had to be cautious.

"Here!" The other dove back into the trash. He leaned over frantically, thankful to see the pokeball halfs had sunken out of sight. If they ever asked why he was in there, he would just tell them he was looking for food.

No one would find out the true reason. Well.. maybe two others, but that would have to wait till he found them again. He would find them again.

The walking trash pile hopped back up, dropping what seemed to be a freshly thrown away berry skewer at his feet.

He looked up, alarmed "no, I couldn't-" "oh don't worry" the other's purr sounded like a motorcycle "we'll survive without a few berries."

While he was still uncertain, his stomach grumbled with hunger so he bent down and took a bite of closest fully intact berry. When the sweet familiar taste hit his mouth, he barely stopped the tears. Arceus really had to do that, didn't they.

"Everything ok?" He looked up from the Pecha berry, the special marked Eevee looking at his watery eyes with concern.

"Y-yes, just haven't eaten anything this sweet in a while" he lied quickly, finishing what he could before pushing towards the others "here, might as well not let this go to waste" he smiled.

The marked Eevee hummed before taking a bite from a nearby Oran berry.

After a bit, the dirty Eevee spoke a question he knew was coming "so, you said you had a trainer, do you have a name?"

He paused, thinking, before shaking his head "she never gave me one."

The others nodded in understanding. He looked out at the people walking in the street, passing by with no clue of the trio sitting on the dumpsters.

He didn’t have a name, not to them at least. To them, he would be the Eevee that they found, the Eevee they took in, the Eevee one day they would realize they see as a brother, the Eevee that would inevitably disappear in the back of a truck

One day there would be another family, they would know him as Virgil, Virgil who they found in the forest, Virgil who followed them everywhere, Virgil who got caught finally by his own free will

But no one would know him as Star but his original family. No one would know him as Star, the being who hatched into the world with an angry scream that was not his own, Star, the one who fell in love with the sky on his first night of his existence, Star, the one who found family and then was ripped away from it in his sleep

Star, who would keep searching till the ends of the Earth to find his family.

But for now, he was just a strange looking Eevee in a strange situation, hiding his name from everything and everyone, and that was ok.

He glared at the crowd of humans walking by peacefully. There was only one thing left from his life with.. with the Dragon, one thing he would keep

He would never trust another human again.

Alright, I finally read Reincarnation no Kaben

AFTER MONTHS (it’s probably been a month? My mind doesn’t keep track of the days) I FINALLY CAUGHT UP TO RNK. Ty to Okita anon for the recommendation (*￣3￣)╭💕💕💕 I absolutely loved it.

After this I’ll start on the other recommendation you gave me. I kept a bit of a log of my reading journey under the read more tag.

Major spoilers for literally everything in RNK up to ch 53 “Withdrawal”.

Oh, and I’ll finish answering all my leftover asks and I SHOULD have a fic done by tomorrow. I was so ready to write and then I got up. Now I’m back to bed.

I’m just gonna write this as a log since I read super super slow and I’m only on ch 7 at the start of writing this but I’m really liking it already. Though to be fair. I love everything okita anon recommends haha. I remember you saying you were simping over Kouu and I haven’t gotten to the part where he appears but I wanted to quickly google what he looked like to prepare myself and I see this:

Well. That’s reassuring.

I was actually kinda surprised by how many western figures were in the manga since I know there are only like 7? Around 7 western figures that pop up in any anime/manga but seeing people like Albert Fish was kinda surprising but I really liked it. Also, at the end of certain chapters they write little bio’s on them so you get to know more about them was such a nice touch. I also love that the tradition of making males -> females still stays strong even outside the fate universe hehe.

Literally, the next chapter I see him. AHHHHHHHHH. Well maybe not him but his eyeballs.

This guy lowkey reminds me of the MC’s brother but it’s 99% because he has the same long ponytail. I wouldn’t be surprised if the brother was apart of the the Greats. Honestly, Ein reminds me of those really hard headed girls that are actually really kind on the inside but aren’t good at expressing themselves (maybe because that’s pretty much her character). I also like that Ein doesn’t like males but she’s hiding behind this guy. At least, I’m..99% sure this is Ein.

I FUCKING KNEW IT. AS SOON AS I SAW HE GOT A THEIF TALENT I COULD FEEL THE SOLO LEVELING VIBES IN ME. HE CAN STEAL TALENTS I FUCKING KNEW IT!!! I’m surprised that Neumann didn’t say anything and Haito seems to be aware of it.

Edit: Ah okay, I understand a bit now but it almost seems like Haito is the only one aware of Toya’s second talent.

Edit 2: Okay, as much as I love power hungry MC’s I’m really glad they didn’t make Toya into that. I am such a softie for sympathetic and kind MC’s like these even though it’s been done so many times. I’m really glad this didn’t feel like a rehash. I mean, some points some of the stuff Toya says it does but it’s fine, I don’t mind that. I actually gave a crap about him since I usually prefer the side characters (I UNDERSTAND ANON, I CARE ABOUT KOUU SO MUCH AHHHHH) but HAITO?? AHHHHH.

I like that Izo always has the same hat in every adaptation he’s in lol. Istg, cats are always op. Schrodinger seems so strong and the parallel universes are my absolute shit. Sometimes I think, in one universe I did this and in this universe I’m not. Would I rather stay in this universe or be in the one where I am actually productive. Usually I pick the productive universe and actually work but sometimes I’m a bit of a slacker haha. I think this is my approach to a lot of things in life. But I digress, I don’t wanna get too deep into my life.

I can sorta sympathize with the sinners. At least the ripper guy to say the least. I love love love unhinged characters that just want to basically destroy the world or at least have fun. But then you find out- wait they are actually sympathetic oh no. That’s how I felt about Djoser in “im the great priest imhotep” (please...i beg...someone read this...I’m so starved).

As much as character development and rooting for the hero is cool and all, I just want to simp for the crazy “let’s burn the world to the ground” kinda character. I’m also so glad Toya doesn’t automatically become evil and try and steal everyone’s talents because he does seem like a good person and I really don’t see him suddenly switching fields so when he saved (I don’t remember names I’m sorry), the undead solider it was really nice. Proves that he still has his humanity and isn’t strictly relying on the branch of sin.

It makes sense that he wants to steal talents since he never had one (and it was kinda out of left field when he killed Vlad and we just never addressed that ever again haha) but to see him actually consider his actions and if he actually want’s to steal his teammates talents feels right to me. Poor guy doesn’t seem to have a lot of friends so this is the first time he’s ever seemed to have companionship, aside from Haito, so I really hope he doesn’t attempt to steal their talents. I think I’m thinking of the slime? That time I got reincarnated as a slime manga/anime. Where he’s the pokemon catcher of skills. I thought that was where it was going.

But I do kinda like how selfish Haito and Toya’s talent stealing relationship is (I mean, later it develops but my first draft of writing this I wasn’t there yet). I’m not sure if selfish or like self-gratitude/pride is the right word but it’s kind of a breath of fresh air. Rather than Haito trying to contain or “help” Toya’s inferiority she’s actually encouraging it and using her own talent for her own...acknowledgement? Er, yeah let’s go with that.

This. This interaction. I love this. Like, genuinely love this. We need more of this. Two people from opposite sides finding some common ground and their fight to the death is less about morals or whose on whose side but for themselves. I love that. This is actually some wholesome stuff.

I KNEW IT! YOU CAN NEVER TRUST THESE KIND OF PEOPLE!! I’m going to slap the whiteboard on this but if I see any “goofy” character I’m immediately sus of them.

As much as I hate that Hitler is getting drawn as a small child I really like this. I know the whole, oh I killed your friends but I’m letting you go because you express humanity but I’m gonna finish my death with a sympathetic line, can be annoying to people but idk I really liked this.

Honestly this and the undead soldiers death hit me hard ngl. This manga might not have my favourite art style during some points compared to like main stream manga but it has some really beautiful scenes.

THE PONY TAIL NEVER LIES AND HES DA VINCI IT MAKES SENSE NOW

He looks so cute lol. I like that Seiya has the talent of being talented in everything while Toya has the talent to steal other talents. Seiya can probably only cap his power by his own physical/mental abilities with Toya can pull a solo leveling and go further beyond. Thinking of it like jack of trades vs master of none type deals. Though, I might be thinking too hard on this. I like that this man is actually humble but I really wish there was a tiny bit more to him since we only get this one interaction/backstory but the manga isn’t completed yet. I really hope we get to know about Seiya more;; like how he became da vinci or etc.

Everytime I see Neumann I look at that comic sans type and it kills me on the inside. But I love that her eyes are 01 just, mwah perfection. These little details that aren’t that big but it’s soooo nice. I also ahem, unhinged character heart be still. It’s really nice reading manga in bursts because you can see the art progression and damn does she look good.

ngl i’M HARD SIMPING FOR THIS MAN. It’s the pony tail, I have such a thing for guys with long hair (and this is why genshin broke me) but man the art really picked up here.

I didn’t get into it but OKITA ANON I GET IT. KOUU??? AHHHH. WHY DID YOU HAVE TO DIE??? As much as his whole “war” was a bit questionable in the beginning and tbh I still don’t really get it I like that he knows he’s not the same as the other Greats but still tries to help the other “sinners” in a way only he knows. That’s why Seiya was so important;; I get that he wanted them to have a fun death and to be understood but idk, the whole war idea and having them kill each other (especially the Hitler fights because I understand the others since they reached some kind of acknowledgement) but nonetheless, what a great guy.

Nightingale gives me mad masaki vibes from chainsawman. I hate them and I can’t wait for you to fail, but the inner part of my is cheering for you because unhinged characters are my shit. I feel really bad for Neumann, I had suspicions she wasn’t actually like that since it’s sooo out of left field but I’m really glad the manga seems to know what it’s doing. I really wish we got more Kouu interactions with everyone tho.

NOW THIS. THIS IS SOME WHOLESOME STUFF. I WANT THIS. I REALLY WANT SPIN-OFF OF REALLY SAD ANIME/MANGA/STORIES WHERE ALL THE DEAD PEOPLE HANG OUT. That’s how I’m feeling about JJK and the scroll segments or BSD WAN that just came out. IT’S SO WHOLESOME TO SEE EVERYONE NOT TRYING TO KILL EACH OTHER.

UGLY SOBBING IN THE CLUBBB AND KOUU AND CHARLOTTE AHHHH. I hate how this is phrased but the respect I have for Hitler?? YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW HARD THAT IS TO TYPE?? Kitazuka is cool tho, I really like him. Some god given talent. I’m hard simping over him but I really hope we get to know more about him later.

In conclusion, and I should probably re-read what the characters say and not go off on memory because I’m about to get really deep. I really like how they phrased why they wanted to stop the branch of sin. That there are people just like Toya and Haito who, if they never found the branch of sin, could still probably lead respectable and okay lives. That there was a “them” in another universe that didn’t go down that road and that they want to be in the same universe as “them”. I know this sounds really confusing if you haven’t read the manga but going back to what I said about the parallel universe stuff.

There was a universe where Toya and Haito didn’t rely on the branch of sin, that even without their talents from becoming a returner, they could still live a happy life given their own personalities and attitudes. It was kinda moving since in the beginning, Toya wanted a talent so badly and now that he has one. He’s realizing that wait, I don’t need a past life talent in order to live. Honestly, I hard relate to that because I totally agree with him. If you have a talent you can probably live a very happy and comfortable life that other factors wouldn’t matter if you just have that incredible talent. Thinking of it as a painter or artist, if you had actual god-given talent you wouldn’t need to worry about other factors since people would naturally seek that talent. So you end up comparing yourself to others and setting that limit on yourself.

But that’s okay, it’s completely natural and I’m not saying it’s horrible if you do this. Fuck, I do this all the time. I’m not saying the manga is changing my life but it’s kind of refreshing that it get’s talked about since other adaptations of this just make the character super OP. I understand wanting to have that incredible talent, fuck who doesn’t? but you don’t need it in order to live earnestly in the bigger picture sense. Not everything you do has to be productive and honestly, learning to be okay with having fun is nice. Just being okay with who you are right now, even if it isn’t perfect in your eyes, you still have time to build upon yourself and your own talents but doing it for yourself.

But I probably missed the point and I’m going way to deep haha. But I really enjoyed reading this and thank you once again to okita anon for the recommendation^^ I always love everything you send me and I’ll start reading the next one. If anyone else has any recommendations let me know!
