every person put into a management position should be forced to play the most patronizing video game tutorial that says shit like

"a ★Business★ is run by performing ★Tasks★. You can delegate ★Tasks★ to an ★Employee★, but watch out! Tasks require ★Time★, and each Employee cannot do more than one (1) Task at once. If you assign an employee a new Task, they will have to pause whatever Task they were doing before that, and come back to it later. Keep in mind that an Employee only has a certain amount of Time in a shift, so you should delegate your Tasks wisely in order to keep your Business running smoothly! :)"

Still not sure they're capable of grasping the idea but it would be cathartic to watch

WHAT MUST BE DONE - A call for submissions of fiction, essays, poetry, art, and comics on women killing men.

Submissions are open from October 1st to December 31st, 2023.

The subject matter is open to interpretation. A lot of women think about this a lot, each in her own way. One intention for the anthology is a focus on women's reasons and inner worlds when they choose to kill, not on the violence itself. We are not looking for torture or violence meant to titillate - this is women doing what must be done for practicality's sake, a measured decision.

Art submissions need to be black and white. Page size is 6" x 9" with .75" margins.

Accepted submissions are not paid. However, all contributors will receive a free contributor's copy and books will be sold at cost + shipping. The purpose of these and other ugly truths projects is to work towards a current thriving and diverse body of creative works from this women's community. We work to continue the unbroken chain of feminist women's creative and intellectual legacy.

Send submissions to [email protected]. Multiple submissions welcomed. Include an author bio (1 sentence minimum, but write as much as you'd like.)

I love store conversions, if they're in a safe neighborhood, (b/c of the big glass windows), so thanks to Ingek73 for finding this exceptional conversion (I love it!) in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. It's in an 1874 building, has 1 bd, and it's possible to live/work there. €345K + €94.78mo. HOA / S370K + $101.57mo. HOA. (No matter where you go, you can't escape the HOA.)

How lovely is this?

Love the stone floor and built-ins. But, look at the stained glass, too. This is so beautiful- and also look at the light fixtures- paper lanterns.

I wonder if the book inventory comes with it.

Even in the hall, book shelves for days.

Right now, there's a kitchenette and sleep space combo.

Nice new separate shower and toilet.

I love that there's an outdoor space.

The basement has the potential for living space. I like the original brick floor and this platform would be great for a nice heat stove.

Definitely has potential. I wouldn't change the original elements. It's certainly bright enough.

Parking is by permit & paid parking.

What a lovely neighborhood.

Now, this pisses me right off- this is an idea of how you can redo the first floor. NO! Don't you dare modernize this gorgeous old store.
