WHO WANTS TO HEAR ME RAMBLE ABOUT GAY FURRY DEMON SEX? XD

(damn, there's a sentence I never thought I'd say....)

Okay...so I see some Stolitz confusion and bashing online and I need to type up a defense here because I won't be able to sleep otherwise lol

I consider myself to be a Ship Critic and someone who takes shipping rather seriously.

What I mean by this is, I like to analyze and break down romantic relationships between fictional characters because it's just interesting to write for me. I especially take delight in friendly debating with opinions that I strongly do *not* agree with.

Let me start off by saying I am NOT a "this ship is awesome because gay furry sex lol" type of girl.

FAR from it. I'm generally more passionate about hetero ships between human characters (because I can relate to them more) among other reasons. So if you wanna dismiss my defense as "shallow fangirlism", you can forget about that lame excuse.

I fell in love with Hazbin Hotel when it was finally released in February and suffered waiting for each new two-parts per week. During that time, I decided to watch Helluva Boss as well, after a friend showed me a particularly soul-crushing clip (Moxxie's childhood trauma about his mother).

Yes, I like funny sex jokes as much as the next goofy adult but scenes like this, scenes that carry a very heavy emotional weight are what really get me in the end, even moreso when VERY little dialogue is exchanged. I knew I had to watch the entire episode run after seeing that the creators had a talent for this.

I saw people asking:

"How did Stolas go from using Blitz as a sex toy to being painfully in love with him?"

Oh I can tell you. I can tell you the EXACT moment this is revealed. But it's not spoon-fed to you; it's quite subtle actually and this is why lots of people miss it.

See, one of the strongest talents Vivenne has shown me is that she REALLY knows how to get her characters to communicate their feelings to the viewers JUST from their expressions and body language. These can be 'blink-and-miss-it' teeny little scenes and it may require a couple rewatches.

But since people demand time stamps for all information others post here, I'll rewatch a few scenes from S1 E7 'Ozzie's' as I'm typing this.

'Ozzie's' remains to be not just my favorite episode of HB...but probably my favorite episode of any adult-targeted animated show outside of Japan (aside from S2 E7's Mid-Season Special)

It has this huge reveal for both Blitzo and Stolas.

We'll first address Blitzo's irrational, stalkerish behavior of Moxxie and Millie.

He's obsessed with them. He finds both of them very attractive, fantasizes about threesomes with them and is constantly inserting himself into their personal lives.

Why?

Because they have everything that he badly badly wants for himself.

They have the perfect marriage and he is trying to live THROUGH them.

This was hilarious to me at the beginnning of the show but it's slowly revealed that it's one of the most tragic and depressing things I've ever seen. And it's scarily realistic too.

But you know this already so let's move on...

Blitzo follows the couple to Ozzie's but he can't get in without a date. So he calls up Stolas and yes, this is very low but he doesn't realize how much this means to Stolas (hell, I'm not sure even Stolas realizes it himself!) but the owl man is giddy with joy, he rushes over and they enter Ozzie's.

When Ozzie and Fizz mock Moxxie for being so sappy towards his wife, this strikes a chord with Blitzo (because they're his IDEAL relationship) and he speaks up to defend them.

NOW PAY CLOSE ATTENTION; THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART:

Fizz, still holding onto his past grudge turns on Blitzo to humilate him:

"Some nerve you got commenting on a relationship"

Time Stamp: 11:37

As Fizz says "-ship", Blitzo VERY QUICKLY makes eye contact with Stolas who has a look of panic on his face. Blitzo is seeking VALIDATION from Stolas in this sharp, subtle second of screentime, as if to ask

"Well, ARE we in one?"

And then what happens next...Stolas remains silent, Blitzo's ex joins in to announce how selfish Blitzo was in bed with her, tearing him down further. Stolas stands up like he's going to put a stop to it but then Ozzie notices him and interrogates him about sleeping with Blitzo.

Blitzo looks incredibly ashamed and guilty as Stolas blushes with similar feelings...and hides his face behind his menu; HIS BIGGEST MISTAKE IN THE SERIES SO FAR.

Time Stamp: 12:24

The look on Blitzo's face as he grits his teeth and darts his eyes away basically says

"Yeah, I should have known...boy am I an idiot for trusting him to stand up for me".

(look how SHOCKED he is...wow, this hurts fr ;_;)

This is a silent betrayal on Stolas's part. Afterall, his reputation is on the line, so if he were to defend Blitzo, it confirms they are in fact, dating. He chose his pride over Blitzo and Blitzo is crushed by this betrayal.

Moxxie finishes his song and kisses his wife tenderly. Stolas watches this and also wants to have an affectionate moment with Blitzo (who is rightfully glaring daggers at him) and tries to reach for his hand.

Blitzo rejects his touch and suggests they leave. As they do, Blitzo still looks furious and hurt. Stolas is now realizing how badly he screwed up with a "What have I done?" face (13:41)

He even looks disappointed with himself.

After Blitzo drops Stolas off, he thanks him and tries to smooth over the awkwardness with sweet talk but Blitzo just rolls his eyes in disgust and pulls on his face like "I don't want to hear this bullshit".

He responds coldly and curtly, "Yeah." Stolas makes more suggestions to spend time with him, which just makes him even angrier and he snaps

"I'm not fucking you tonight, okay!

I'm really just..." (14:28)

he pauses to wipe a tear because at this point he can barely hold it together (top notch voice acting and animation directing btw)

"...not in the mood, Stolas."

Stolas still tries to talk him into doing couple things unrelated to sex.

Blitzo's face switches back to anger and frustration because Stolas isn't getting the message so he goes for the blunt tactic;

"Stolas, don't act like what we have is anything but YOU wanting ME to fuck you, okay?"

(14:42)

"You make that really clear all the time."

(again his voice sounds like he's about to break down)

"But I-I just can't do it tonight, okay?"

(Finally meets his eye)

"...I'm sorry."

I believe this is code for "I'm sorry we're even in this situation and how your reputation got damaged. " Or, more painfully, "I'm sorry I'm such an embarrassment to you".

Stolas replies "Okay" and takes a deep breath to compose himself. They say goodnight and depart.

An important note here is that Stolas calls him "Blitzo" instead of "Blitzy" to show more respect.

As Blitzo zooms away coldly, Stolas looks up at the sky with tears in his eyes, surprised at how much it hurts.

He then sits down with his head in his hands in anguish...because he's getting that

"Oh...no. These feelings are real" epiphany.

And as if this wasn't enough angst, Blitzo collapses onto his couch at home, goes through the memories on his phone and starts sobbing.

I'm going to be real with you; this is the most heart-breaking shit I have ever seen in an adult show of this type. It's also the first time a show of this type got me to cry.

The last six minutes have revealed so much information without spoonfeeding it to the audience because the show RESPECTS its audience.

To recap:

*Blitzo takes Stolas on a first official date to use him

*Stolas is extremely happy about it

*Blitzo gets humilated and looks to Stolas for validation

*Stolas betrays him and breaks his heart

*Blitzo snaps that their relationship is nothing more than lust-driven sex

*Stolas realizes he's actually in love with Blitzo and it's a huge problem because (he believes) that it's unrequited.

*Blitzo breaks down because the ONE person whom he thought would protect him didn't do so.

So these two are convinced that neither one loves the other...while the irony is, it's quite the opposite.

Because if Blitzo REALLY didn't feel anything towards Stolas, he would not have gotten this emotional.

Yes, they are both lonely...but I really don't think that's all there is between them.

So..........we know WHEN they started falling...now the question is why;

I think the answer's quite simple; single-target affection.

It was mentioned in S2 that Stolas and Stella did sleep together ONE TIME...but Stolas didn't enjoy it at all. He is stuck with a wife who hates him so much that she put a HIT on him...and a daughter who thinks he's a loser. Blitzo is pretty much the one person in his life who is able to make him happy. That one small, bright spot. He enjoys the sex with him but he also simply enjoys his company, as shown in Ozzie's episode. He is thrilled to simply talk to him about his day...and do anything else that couples do. They're complete opposites. Stolas is an intellectual but naive and sheltered. Blitzo is poorly educated but cynical and street-smart. Opposites attract...though this is likely more from Stolas's POV than Blitzo's.

In other words, Stolas is into bad boys xD lmao

In Blitzo's case, Stolas is the only character who shows him physical affection which he desperately craves. He's pretty tsundere about it most of the time...but I think he actually does enjoy that attention...especially when he's always getting disrespected by Moxxie and Loona..and quite a lot of people around him. BUT he's too scared to get serious with anyone because of past trauma and he also believes that no one could possibly love him as a person. :(

Reasons I Think This Love is Real

Aside from what I pointed out in the Ozzie's episode...there's quite a lot of evidence, esp from Stolas's POV.

After he realizes he's in love, he goes to Asomodeous for an ALTERNATIVE method for Blitzo to use so they will no longer sleep together. He wants to set Blitzo free. Which means he DOES truly love him because love is about being generous to the other person. He COULD be totally selfish about it but he isn't.

Asomodeous mentions how against love potions he is and Stolas agrees. He thinks that's out of the question.

In S2 E6 OOPS

Fizz: Seems your taste has gotten more 'regal', lately?

Blitz: Yeah, well unlike you, I fuck who I want WHEN I want. I'm not gonna be tied down to some big blue-blood asshole.

Fizz: You coulda fooled me the way Prince was cozying up to you at Ozzie's.

Blitz (gets very defensive) HEY! Stolas only cares about have a rugged peasant raw-dog him into his mattress, okay!

It's nothing...(gets hesistant and looks away)...you know...

(Fizz gives him a 'bitch please' look xD)

"it's nothing else."

Fizz: Then why were you even there?

Blitz: OTHER very important reasons of course.

Fizz: Whatever. I don't actually care.

Blitz: Stolas is just a loud, thirsty BITCH!

(Fizz is rolling his eyes again)

Blitz: He loves feeling the thrill of getting dicked by the lower class.

It's a novelty to him.

Fizz: LITERALLY just said I don't care!

Blitz: And then he'll call me and try to see how my day was!

And he'll pretend to care about me and comment on my photos laugh at my jokes...

Fizz: (Smirking) OH! That's definitely your clue right there that it's all bullshit!

Blitz: I KNOW, RIGHT??

Fizz: (Making a 'What in idiot' expression, shaking his head)

Blitz: HE'S JUST A FAKE, PRIVELEDGED ASSHOLE...

Fizz: Sounds like you just hate him for being a prince!

No one (laughs) and I mean NO ONE pretends to care that much just for a cheap lay.

All right. IF ANYONE knows what real love is like, it's Fizzaroli...who is in a very HEALTHY relationship with Asomodeous. He recognizes the signs because he's IN that place. He sees it...and he's annoyed that Blitzo keeps denying it and brushing it off...yet clearly can NOT stop talking about Stolas (amusing irony)

To sum up (this freaking essay lol) 'Stolitz' ABSOLUTELY has the potential to be pure and true...these two just need to communicate...or Stolas has to PROVE to Blitzo that he's serious about his feelings in another way.

There is no doubt that this ship is 100% endgame and is a case of the 'Earn Your Happy Ending' Trope. I look forward to the rest of the journey. Ron is putting my feelings about Stolitz in a perfect phrase:

Jungkook turned toward Y/N and nodded his head, “We’re not disbanding, just taking a hiatus and focusing on our solo careers.”

After a long meeting, Jungkook was excited to come home to his fiancée. It was a long meeting discussing the future of everyone. Everyone agreed they wanted to do their own music and Jungkook wanted to focus more on Y/N. It would be the first real break he had with her and his music can wait.

Y/N nodded her head and placed her hand on top of his, “Are you okay with it?”

“Of course I am. I get to spend so much time with my fiancée.”

She smiled shyly at this and gently rubbed his knuckles with her thumb, “fiancée..it still hasn’t set in.”

“Babe, it’s been two months already.”

She shrugged her shoulders and glanced at a sleeping Bam, “I’m really getting married...that’s crazy to say.” She looked back at him with a smile, “I bet Mae is happy about this. Yoongi gets to spend time with-” Just then Bam jumped up on the couch and nuzzled into Y/N.

Jungkook glared and shook his head, “Always trying to steal my girl. It’s not fair.”

“We're engaged, Jungkook.”

“Doesn’t matter. Bam will always find a way.”

Mae turned around in the bed and smiled at Yoongi who was already looking at her. He pushed some hair back and kissed her forehead, “How are you feeling?”

Mae let out a small chuckle and nuzzled into her pillow some more, “I feel like my pussy got ripped in half but other than that good.”

Yoongi let out a laugh and kissed her hairline, “Thank you for giving me everything I didn’t know I wanted.”

She wrapped her arms around his waist and nuzzled into his chest, “Thank you for making me want kids.”

Just then a small cry echoed from the baby monitor and Mae groaned. Yoongi patted her waist and pushed the covers off, “I’ll get him. Ye-Joon probably just needs his diapers changed.”

Mae nodded her head and smiled at her, “Okay, daddy.”

Yoongi glared at her and shook his head, “Don’t start with that shit.”

“Wait, come here real quick.”

Yoongi thought something was wrong and quickly made his way back to her. She smirked and brought him in for a quick kiss making his eyes go wide. When they pulled away she put her forehead on his, “I love you so much, Min Yoongi.”

“I love you, Mae Rodriguez.”

The cry echoed longer and she let out a small laugh, “Go get our son before he breaks our eardrums.”

“I’ll get our son.” Yoongi walked towards his bedroom but he turned back to Mae and his heart fluttered. He shook his head with a small laugh escaping his lips and he closed the door gently.

Eunbi opened her door and she raised her eyebrow at what she saw, “Namjoon? Why are you here?”

Namjoon sighed and pulled out a card from his jacket, “Jin wanted me to give you this.”

Eunbi tilted her head and nodded her head, “This isn’t going to kill me, right?”

“Why would your boyfriend want to kill you?”

“Right...” She opened the card and a smile appeared, Go to the park! She looked at Namjoon with a curious look, “Do you know about this?”

“I never know what Jin wants to do.”

“You can come in and get a snack if you want.”

Namjoon shook his head and brought his jacket to him, “I’m alright. I’d rather not be here when you guys have sex.”

Eunbi’s face turned red and furrowed her eyebrows, “Yah! Don’t say that so loud. My neighbors are old.”

“Lucky, at least they don’t have to hear anything.”

After kicking Namjoon out, Eunbi took her away to the park next to her apartment. She was dressed in her pajamas which consisted of sweats and one of Jin’s shirts. She pulled her beanie down more when she felt the wind touching her face. She rolled her eyes at herself, she should’ve put a jacket on. She walked further down and she stopped in her tracks to see Jin with a bouquet of roses and balloons. She raised her eyebrow and let out a small laugh, “What’s going on?”

He pulled down his mask and gave her a smile, “Happy three months.”

She looked up at him and felt her heart beating faster, “That’s tomorrow?”

“I know...I couldn’t wait to see you.”

She let out a laugh and walked closer to her as he did the same. She looked up at him as he stared back down with heart eyes, “All this for out three months?”

“Just wait and see our first anniversary.”

“You're already planning that? We just started dating...”

He shrugged his shoulders and bent down placing a quick kiss on her lips. She jumped at the sudden contact but she closed her eyes to kiss back. When they pulled away and he smiled at her, “I have so much planned for us. I told you, I saw my future with you.”

“All those rom-coms couldn’t prepare me for this.”

He let out a laugh and glanced at her apartment, “I’ll cook you something. To celebrate tonight and tomorrow I’ll take you out to this fancy restaurant.”

“You treat me right.”

“Of course my duchess.”

Jungkook closed the door and saw Y/N on her phone on their bed. He smiled at this and took off his shirt, tossing it aside. She glanced up from her phone and smiled, “Is Bam sleeping?”

“Yeah, I was wondering...when was the last time we fucked?”

Y/N straighten her back against the headboard, “I-I...maybe two weeks.”

He glanced at her with a smirk, “That’s a long time. Wanna change that?”

“I think it would be romantic to have one last night in this house before moving.”

Jungkook moved towards her and was hovering over her, “That’s right. We’re moving. Isn’t that exciting?”

She felt goosebumps appear when she felt his fingers against her thigh, “I-It’s very exciting-” She wanted to speak but he kissed her making her forget everything. She ran her hands along his arms and then over his shoulders to steady herself. She played with his locks because they pulled away. Jungkook touched her like she was glass and she couldn’t stop her heart beating, “I love you so much.”

He brushed his lips over her next and her breathing started to get uneven. She felt her body heat up as she enjoyed his kisses. He took any fabric that was covering her body and she couldn’t help but look away from that smile he always has when he sees her like this. He started to trailed his lips down to her neck and then her collarbone as he gazed up. His eyes were a darker shade of brown and she knew what it meant. She knew what his eyes told her, this was her fiancé after all. He continued to leave kisses on her skin until he reached between her thighs. His hot breath against her cold skin sent shivers. He wrapped his arms around her thighs keeping her close to his face, his fiancée was shy, especially with this action.

She held onto his brown strands as she felt her body move against him. Each kiss and lick made her back arch in a way that made the air in the room thicker. She could feel a few strands of sweat coming down as her legs trembled under his touch. His tongue was always enough for her. Moments later, the trembling increased as his tongue rushed in.

He leaned over and kissed, his lips always felt soft and always filled with love. She placed her hand on his cheek and rubbed his cheek gently, “You always make me feel good.”

“You make me feel good. Physically and emotionally. Always make me feel loved, my wife.”

He hugged her body close to his and she was surprised by the action but she understood. After everything they've been through, this moment was more than a declaration of love. It was a declaration of a better future. She let her nails gently scratch his skin and he left kisses against his shoulder. She moaned out his name as he moved in and out of her. It was intimate, so intimate. He placed his temple against her and they made eye contact, “You are so perfect...perfect for me. My Y/N.”

She felt her heart swell up at this and she had to stop herself from crying. This man was her everything and she couldn’t believe that this man was all hers. Forever and ever. She pushed some hair away from his sweaty forehead and gave him a shy smile, “I love you Jeon Jeongguk.”

He smiled and kissed her as she wrapped her arms around his neck to bring him closer. She felt herself tighten and the familiar tremble came over, “Come, love.”

She tilted her head and moaned out his name as she came inside of her. Both eyes met and she could see the love pouring out, “Are you ready for the future?”

“If you're in it, I’m ready for anything.”

Somewhere in Florida....

He glanced down at the news article on his phone and let out a scoff, “She’s getting married to him?”

The woman in front of him nodded her head, “A lot of people support them but there's a small group that doesn’t like it.”

He tossed his phone on the dinner table and glanced out to the waves, “What do you want me to do about it?”

“Every bride needs her father...go visit her.”

Something that really bothers me about the rose coloured glasses vis a vis tellius and fe fans (ESPECIALLY from 3h fans who learned about tellius later) is that many like soren purely because of his main ship (i mean i like ikesoren too but come the fuck on) and jokingly characterise soren as a stereotypical nasty mean limp wristed sarcastic gay man instead of a deeply flawed branded angry at the world and definitely trauma bonded to ike, but micaiah is still absolutely getting raked over the coals over the blood pact and not being ike’s fangirl

Well,

Jokes often involve flanderisation, so Soren being flanderised to oblivion when people joke about him isn't something I really care about, but maybe that's because I'm not really fond of Soren to begin with lol

What annoys me more is when some people try to rationalise Soren's anger and backstory by either pointing at Almedha or Deghinsea being responsible for everything, and I'm like, what.the.fuck?

Almedha's just, idk, I won't call it sexism, but damn - that woman loves her son who is the only reason why she hasn't completely lost her mind over 1/losing her powers 2/being casted away like trash by her "BF" 3/being rejected by her dad 4/thinking her brother was tortured and abused to death because of her actions 5/being separated from her beloved child.

Deghinsea being "uwu bad bcs he's the reason why brandeds are rejected by both beorcs and laguz" is another take I really am not fond of, and iirc I wrote a post earlier this year about it? But to some people who buy the "Crusts BaD" as the reason why Fodlan sucks, I guess they need to have someone to name and pill all of the world's nonsense rather than, well, in Tellius' case, realise that the worldbulding and the lore really sucks, to the point where the duology touted as the most "against racism" of the franchise, is pretty much way more racist than anything Tru Piss can throw us (yes, because in Tru Piss we have characters rejecting coexistence, in Tellius, it's the world mechanics - whenever a Beorc and a Laguz coexist too much, the Laguz dies...).

As for Miccy,

Just like, imo, Soren gains some "new" attention and "uwu excuses for why he's being a snarky jerk at times", Miccy used to be bashed when FE10 was released (with all the Mary Sue accusation being thrown around!) because she was written to be a sort of foil/antagonist to Ike, and when the party reunited, she was demoted to a "soul-jar" role, let it be regarding the greater plot, or, even, her own backstory!

TBH, for people who didn't play FE10, if Ike is the bestest thing since melted cheese, Miccy, who opposes him, must be BaD and so you can pile everything you don't like on her, hoping to see it stick.

Or even worse, I've seen posts here and there comparing Miccy to Supreme Leader and how misunderstood uwu she is, which is the worst insult poor Miccy ever received since FE10 came out rofl

#2goldensnitches #do you want to kill me friend lol #once upon a time discussions about soren and miccy were very animated lol #anyways i still don't like how some part of the fandom tries to uwu him #he is a character with flaws that sure are never called out in the game and by the main character but #they exist #and to uwu them away is imo a disservice and not a good reading on him #'but his backstory sad uwus' Sephiran also has a crapton of sad uwus for his backstory #and yet the game chews him out about his plans to destroy the world because hey fuck off #it's not fair to condemn the world and everyone who lives in it for your suffering #It's sort of hilarious because sometimes I wonder if Miccy wasn't also written as a Soren foil #Miccy is the one who doesn't like when Beorc call Laguz names #she lives in racist land and knows she has to hide else she'll die too #but she still came to care about the people who live here #she gets to talk to Vika who feels weirded out by her being a branded and yet they agree to continue talking/being friends despite it #Miccy never insults Rafiel calling him a half beast #Soren follows Ike and his lead but Miccy has to take the lead despite wanting to follow Pelleas at first #tfw we know more about Soren's backstory even after being kicked away from Daein than Miccy's lol #granted I loved what FE10 with Almedha when you see that some of his worst traits/flaws are actually shared by his mom lol #tl;dr : a Soren raised by his mom would have been even more of a jerk than the one we got #i have a lot of feelings about how Miccy was treated in FE10 which in turn sort of explains the vitriol she received from the fandom #but that's for another post lol else it'll be too long #basically FE10 is more Ike v.2 than a game where Miccy is the Lord

HI ROWAN I'm glad you asked! :D It's gonna be a big ass rant, so it's under the cut. I'm very excited about this AU, it tackles some things I love and have first-hand experience of, so yeah, I'll be chatty about it ahahahah.

I've posted a chapter at random on AO3 and you can find some snippets in the whale au tag!

So, it's "Zoologist Aisling who thinks whales are the best thing after sliced bread saves Cullen, who happens to have survived a shipwreck caused by a whale". Shenanigans happen.

It was an idea of @shivunin (thank you again) and I'm currently trying to give it a little outline not to go totally at random. I am thinking about characters background, it's a non-magical AU and so stuff needs to be adapted. The title of the WIP is old, I realised after that... You know, it's a Moby Dick INSPIRED thing. The first idea was having Aisling as Melville and Cullen as Ishmael teaming up to write Moby Dick. Cullen has the sailing parts, Aisling filling in with conspiracy theories about whalers and spite over naturalists. And both of them inserting a gay relationship because I'm still a big part of the Bi!Cullen agenda, and that book is terribly gay.

I did realise later on that there's a limit to the horrors I'm willing to put characters through and write, and cannibalism is really NOT one. I also moved it to another period and to the 1900s because I already did research for another original project and I'm more familiar with it.

The title of the file will change when I'll have a better one for this AU.

For now I do have a background for Aisling, what she's in Nantucket to do, and I'm so happy to say @melisusthewee jumped on the bandwagon aboard with Quinn and Horatio, but I'm letting her introduce you to them in this. I'll just say that Aisling refers to Quinn as "Mr Arch-Nemesis".

She's in Nantucket for a research over sperm whales behaviour, restore her family's name (dad was a scholar too, but alas, he was caught being a member of the Fenian society and giving money to the Irish revolutionaries... She's the Royal Society's favourite person, yes) and hopefully put a brake on whale hunting (the 1900s saw the peak of killed whales, you can bet miss "I'd adopt a dragon if Bull didn't constantly prevent me to try and befriend one" won't be ok with it). Dorian and Josephine -whom I couldn't fathom being there with her, seriously I can't picture Dorian on a ship if not in first class, unless he was beaten unconscious before boarding and dragged on. Josie finances ships, sure... but being on board of one and working? A whole different thing. So, they're Aisling friends, but they stayed in London to get her fundings.

Cullen needs to find reason to get to the sea again, he was a harpooner and worked on ships all his life... After being the sole survivor, he needs to find his centre back and get on with it. The crazy whale fangirl may or may not help him on this.

And there was only one bed, of course. (have I already said that Moby Dick is VERY gay?) (I had a blast reading it, thank you so much @salsedinepicta for making me curious about it! <3 Also if you want to throw your characters in this GO ON.)

I thiiiink I may change names and design and also do something fully original. I'm particularly enthusiastic about it because it allows me to tackle stuff I experienced in my life (I did some sailing! Very little and purely recreational, but still) and to re-use some research I already did for another original project which I love dearly, but it's definitely more than I can chew on my own. If I don't chicken out because the place is linked to some trauma, I maaaaay add a part in the seaside town I spent a lot of time growing up.

But again, let's see how it goes, researching on Italy isn't the easiest thing ever if you're not aiming at Rome or the Renaissance, and we're talking about a pretty regional side of Italy. I have good hopes because the people are very very very much into their own history and claiming it back, so I may find some good infos without spitting too much blood.

So, this is long so I'm putting it under a read more. It's just going to be me rambling on about Don and Carmen.

I love Don x Carmen or CarDon as I call it. It is pretty much my Punch-Out!! OTP. And I really hate when they're portrayed as toxic, cheating on each other and while I mostly fault the devs on this one, I really dislike when some use Title Defense Don to make Carmen out to be a gold-digging bitch who dumps him for losing or her leaving him for another boxer. I much rather prefer Don and Carmen being a loving, supportive and happy couple and she still stays with him even after he loses to Mac. And though they, like any couple, have their hiccups, they still love each other.

You have Don, who is this smug, cocky douche (but we love him anyway) and and a ladies’ man. Then there’s Carmen, who I headcanon to be a model, a fashionista, and who I also see as being sweet, kind, friendly, and empathetic who loves and supports her man. She is the sunshine to Don's grump. She is one of those people that brings out Don’s softer side. Carmen knows that underneath all that ego, there is the sweet, romantic Don she fell in love with. Also, Don naming a move after her, he mentions her during fights and even dedicates his fights to her? It's so WHOLESOME! And she goes to his matches to cheer him on. As for him being a ladies' man, Carmen is rather amused by the fangirls, who probably envy her for being with Don. She is all "I don't blame them. I'd be the same, too".

Title Defense Don, I just see him being upset over losing, not because he got dumped by Carmen for losing. Again this, I blame the devs for making it seem to be that way. Maybe Don is so used to being the Major Circuit champion and bragging about it and he’s just salty over being defeated by a teenager. It could be other things too like his image, losing some fans, what his family would think, etc. I like to think that maybe at first he thought all of that also meant losing Carmen too. But again, I don’t see Carmen dumping Don for losing. If anything, as I said, I see her still staying with him, still giving him support and even dressing goth along with him, being the fashion icons they are. Even if he loses again, there is Carmen to be his rock and to comfort him. She would also encourage him to keep going and not give up. She always reminds him that title or no title, he is still a champion in her book.

Also, can we talk about how CarDon has been pretty much a thing since the 1987 NES Punch-Out!! game? Yes, since 1987, Carmen was mentioned. It wasn't just Punch-Out!! Wii.

And there’s this chibi art of Don from the 1987 Punch-Out!! Japanese player guidebook that has him with a woman, believed to be Carmen. It could just be a random woman but who knows? With the small Carmen mention, this could possibly be her. Will only be posting the edit done by my pal @boltun-tkn (thanks again!) since the OG is...let’s just say, VERY cursed.

Punch-Out!! Wii from 2009 has him mentioning Carmen a lot. Just like the chibi art, in Don’s Contender slideshow, it could be assumed the blonde in that awful dress (sorry I can’t defend that LMFAOOO) Don is offering the rose to is Carmen. The fandom has pretty much accepted that girl to be her but with a redesigned outfit or her in another outfit. I also admit I love seeing other people’s takes on Carmen and they're all gorgeous, LOVE ALL THE CARMENS! 🙌🏽

And here is Don's VA Juan Amador Pulido, briefly talking about the Carmen lines and referring to her as "Don's beloved". It's so flippin' cute how Juan was quick to mention that his wife is also named Carmen! It's amusing too because I headcanon Don's actual first name to be Juan, not just because his VA's name but Don looks like a Juan OK? LMAOOOO

With this, I am now going to declare Juan as the captain of the CarDon ship!

I also love the idea of Don and Carmen contrasting not just in personality but also in appearance like her being the pink to his red, her voice being much calm and soft and his being gruff, or when Don is in Title Defense, he dyes his hair black and Carmen, going goth in support, dyes her hair platinum blonde.

In short, I love and ship CarDon so much and I am happy when I see more love for them, for Carmen, and more content of them being happy, in love, and so sweet instead of the "they cheat on each other", "Carmen is a bitch because she dumps him", and other BS.

PART TWO

Time was ticking, the night was vanishing and he still had so many candies left, yikes!

Please ctrl + f your character's first name if you don't want to read the whole thing. If I mentioned you, it's because you liked my plot call or told me on discord/twitter that you would not mind participating.

Cupidyoon fully intended to ship Tee (@lgctee) with another V&A member, but decided the Jintee fangirls were way too scary to mess with. Tee got his soda candy first and Cupid took his sweet time walking around before finally dropping the matching one in Jinseo (@lgcjinseo)'s palm. The patience couple, he shall call this ship, because it was sailing at the speed of molasses. At this point, Seyoon might end up with four kids before these two even get any.

Seyoon noticed some sort of tension between Minkyu (@lgcminkyu) and Jihan (@lgcjihan). He figured any tension could be good tension and sometimes a little resentment made better sex. Regular cherry flavored candies went to this couple - just make up already!

The blueberry candy in his hand was reserved for Seunghyun's match but honestly, Seyoon was struggling. Seunghyun (@shxlgc) was his childhood friend, occasional enemy and an annoying twat. Nobody really deserved Seunghyun, take that sentence however you would like. So with a grin, Cupid approached his dear Mushushu with both blueberry candies in hand. He slipped them into Seunghyun's pocket with a wink. "I am sure you would rather take care of yourself." Hey, at least he didn't say the F word out loud.

One party boy deserved another and Seyoon simply knew Hyuk (@lgchyuk) and Haneul (@lgchxneul) would have fun together. In fact, he might want to join them. For partying, of course. Pineapple flavored candy for them, Seyoon's precious dance all night ship.

Now, what about Maylin (@lgcmaylin), dear Maylin. She hated most guys, didn't she? Seyoon handed her a peppermint candy because she spicy and looked around for her perfect match. Oh, maybe Eunwoo (@lgceunwoo)! The guy was hot and pretty quiet from what Seyoon remembered. If a man didn't talk much, he had less chance of saying the wrong thing, perfect!

Seyoon was pretty certain Max (@lgcxmax) was already dating a dude, but real life boyfriends didn't count for this Halloween game. After some contemplation, he decided to match Max with Kai (@lgckai) and came up with a whole dramatic story about two hardworking trainees, constantly stuck in evaluations together. Slowly developing feelings, stealing looks across the room and...Yes, it could be fun with their grape flavored candy.

Who was left?

Seyoon tossed Rowon (@rowonlgc)'s black cherry into the air and caught it back in his hand. Oh Rowon, this one was so very tricky.

So focused on his thoughts, he nearly ran into Soyoun (@lgcsoyoun). "Ah, I am sorry." He bowed his head like a good lil trainee but slipped the idol a light pink candy he believed to be cherry-blossom flavored. One of the more unique ones he'd gotten. The matching one he'd given to Ichika (@lgcichika) onee-sama earlier. Certain fanfics may have changed his favorite ships forever. Long live Ichiastrid.

His basket was nearly empty and the last couple to be matched with Hanie (@lgchanie) and Hyun (@lgchyun). They were both young, cute and could make an adorable puppy pair with their vanilla-flavored candy. In fact, if those two ever debut together, he might ship it.

this is going to be long, you might not read it and i might not make sense but i need to take it out somewhere so

babyfication of literally ALL drivers happens nowadays, even max and alonso. all over tiktok and twitter.. personally speaking i hate the level it's reached because some fans refuse to treat the driver as humans and reach insane levels of shipping drivers together. ive seen such werid tweets it makes me ill even tho im part of the same generation looool.

it's just that since there's a perception that apparently *charles only has fangirls* and *young teenage girls support him because he's good-looking* he gets the same treatment from the other drivers' fans and media.

lol at them because firstly these men always fucking always admit he's good looking. secondly they prove that they ALL are misogynistic creeps who can't accept the fact that a woman who supports a good looking man (which they'll never be) have more knowledge about a sport than they do.

the constant he's depressed at ferrari narrative is all over the world by now, it's naturally understandable why the media behaves like that no?

i don't know who the fuck considers carlos an alpha male when that guy literally has the most ''i don't know what I'm doing here im clueless" look on his face. yesterday he was almost on the verge of tears on the radio. BUT since he's spanish he's considered an alpha apparently like alonso. alonso doing these tiktoks is considered funny but if charles ever does the same he'll be crucified w the words focus on driving. max gets told off by kelly in whatever clip of a documentary i saw on twitter, and i fully support everyone who bashes her because heck yes she is wrong. there everyones feeling bad for max and understandably so but god forbid that was charles in the clip i fucking bet half the qts from men would be for him to grow balls and stop her from pointing fingers.

at the end of the day it all comes down to one perception that he only has fangirls. which is so so so untrue. so wrong. BUT even if he does, it's okay. people don't want women to enjoy sports. are we not supposed to support an athlete at all?

deep down it's all the men showing how misogynistic they can be, this time, it's by targetting charles because that's the way they think they can reach majority of the female fanbase.

Genuinely I read all of them and I love reading all of your guys thoughts! It's just if I don't have the brain to respond immediately I just forget.. and I am really sorry about that.

To the babygirlifying can get a bit much too, but with fans overall I am fine because I feel like most of them do know that they are talking about grown adults. Or at least it is somewhat in the back of their heads. But also it's fans and fandom is allowed to be a bit strange sometimes imo.

Yeah, that weird reaction to Charles having fans is so wild. You'd think he was just pretty but trundling around a minute off of the field with how convinced some people are that he only has fans because of his face.

Some of them are so adamant that I am convinced that they only have an issue with him because they are jealous. Also like what do they want him to do? take off his face? It's not like he is going out of his way to look the way he does it's just his fucking face.

It always makes me wonder about how the brains of men work if they always assume that women can't find someone attractive and still hold other positive opinions of them. Like are men that blinded by peoples attractiveness? They can't grasp that someone being nice to look at is quite often just the cherry on top of many other things.

The depressed at Ferrari thing can be funny but like anytime he isn't smiling in a picture it's because of Ferrari apparently. that's a bit much. I don't really feel like that's the media narrative tho. or maybe I've just not seen that stuff.

Overall I don't think that what drivers say in the car and even to a certain extent in the post race interviews should be held against them. Obviously as long as they are being respectful. But a race with all the adrenaline is a very emotional situation for them and I think that's fine.

But yeah the double standard is what pisses me off. Carlos being upset means he is the only one that cares but if that had been Charles the narrative would've been completely different. I hate all of the narratives I just don't get why they are so weirdly different.

I think it's a mixture of he is pretty, he has a lot of fangirls (and anything that women especially young women like has to be bad) and the fact that he is kind.

But it's so funny because he has always been infantilised to a certain extent in F1 but like in 2018/19 the whole thing used to be that Max should learn from him because he is so much calmer and so much more in control of himself. But even though Charles himself hasn't changed that much it's apparently the opposite and it's bad or he doesn't have control over himself.

People on twitter having dumb opinions is annoying but doesn't bother me nearly as much as the fact that this weird narrative about him is also being perpetuated by the pundits. By the professionals.

I'm glad that he doesn't seem to be too bothered by that, like it probably annoys him a little but he isn't like upset about it and he isn't going to change because of it.

I just wonder if the pundits are aware of what they are doing and why they are doing it. and what they would say if they were confronted with facts and how they keep contradicting themselves.

This was hard btw. Like... how am I supposed to list my faves in order?! Also, do I even have FIVE top CLAMP ships?!!!

5. Toru and Saya x/1999

Based on one single panel.

Yes, I’m shallow. But I seriously love this panel so much. Not only is it aesthetically beautiful, it evokes a very beautiful and gentle feeling in me.

I do feel like this panel is just so telling of how much they loved each other. And it’s also both a sort of a... prelude so to speak? to Kamui and Fuuma’s own fated bond and the tragedy at the core of said bond.

Wait... it was mutual between Toru and Saya, right?

4. Arashi and Sorata from x/1999

Cannot not mention arasora from x.

Yes, Arashi on top because we all know Sorata would totally be into Arashi tying him up and being used and abused by her. This is a canon fact and no one can change my mind.

They have an interesting thing going because of Sorata's fate and I can see why Arashi would have been annoyed about it in the beginning. Like... how do you decide to die for someone you just met? Talk about unrealistic tbh.

And yet... Sorata is so set on it!

The way I see them, I feel like with them the attraction was simply instantaneous. Something you can't deny sort of thing.

Sorata might have recognized it first, hence why he decided on her (I like to think that it isn't JUST because she's physically beautiful since CLAMP is all about soulmate bonds).

As for Arashi, since Arashi is the only one who can decide for herself that she wants to live, I think Sorata mirrored back to her her own will to live. Aside from how perceptive he is, I also think that this joy for life that is inherent of Sorata’s personality (we played this game before but I think he could be a Sagittarius) is how she learned to love him deeply.

Also, it's an irony that Sorata would be perfectly fine with accepting he would one day die for the woman he loves, while the woman he loves learned to have an "appetite" for life because of him.

UGH... CLAMP... ffs.

I was having a perfectly normal evening... ok let's go deeper into this hole of despair.

3. Fuuma and Kamui from x/1999

Listen but why are all these ships so damn tragic?

I definitively have problems.

I wish they’d just get a room already...

Anyways.

Really tragic, really heartbreaking feels come out of fcking nowhere because of these two.

Idk how to explain how it, literally, offends me when I get the fuukam feels because they always come out of nowhere.

Like... no warning, no nothing.

What I love about this pairing in particular is that there is so much love between them in a very platonic way. It is a delight to see them navigate their inner conflict in relation to their fate and that is what makes their fate all the more heartbreaking.

Of course, I love the twin star motif because they are boud by inevitability to collapse into one another (this is so not scientific).

Of course the sexy scenes are a total delight to behold too.

It’s just who they are. Literally, two horny teens carrying the weight of the fucking apocalypse on their shoulders as they try to bring the other to their senses.

In the end, with them, I like to think we have a beautiful combination of really twisted eros and agape love.

Most beautiful of all is that Kamui would overlook Fuuma’s terrible haircut and love him unconditionally. If that isn’t true love, then I don’t know what is.

But while fuukam has an element of childhood friends to lovers that I absolutely adore...

I still have to say my next fave is one of my absolute favorite example of (childhood) friends to lovers.

2. Syaoran and Sakura from Cardcaptor Sakura and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle

Why are they so cute tho?!

Watching them navigate their crush in Cardcaptor Sakura is actually one of the main reasons I am a massive CLAMP stan as, in a way, they were the gateway drug to my CLAMP addiction.

Even though I am not necessarily a CCS fan, I remember watching every CCS movie I could find just so I could watch them be cute together. When I found out about TRC I was excited to see CLAMP explore a slightly more mature and more tragic version of this OTP.

With syaosaku, the way I see them, it’s about the innocence of first love and the recognition that there’s someone who shines different from all of the other people around you. Or in CLAMP’s words, that most special person that’s totally not what they call it but I can’t think of the proper term right now.

With syaosaku, it’s about enduring puppy love. You know... when everything is simple “because you have feels” for each other. It’s undeveloped and innocent platonic love that can mature into something far more beautiful and enduring despite the many complications that may arise as they are bound to do.

I also love that even their respective clones are bound to fall in love with each other and that they choose each other time and time again and that’s part of what keeps them stuck in a time loop. Talk about being stupidly fated.

They’re adorbs. 12/10 recommend.

1. Kurogane and Fai from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle

I FUCKING LOVE THEM!

Ok like listen.

Where do I even start?

Or maybe...

Ok. Yes. Here.

It’s all in what is not ducking said between these two.

With them, it’s always about something that happened off camera.

Kurogane looking shocked and sad instead of his usual “stoic warrior” or “tsundere” self also if I’m using tsundere incorrectly please don’t mind me apparently I can't get with the based program it’s just not sticking because Fai is giving him the faker than fake fakiest smile he’s ever given him to hide how pissed off and hurt he is about Kurogane not asking for consent.

But Kurogane is in so deep about how he feels about the blond magician twink blue-eyed pirate vampire and so... he’s not going to let him die even if it means he has to not ask for consent or... you know... cut off his arm.

And like...

Wow.

I’m totally digging Kurodaddy’s Capricorn energy. Very steadfast and driven, and very emotional.

I love Kurogane, he’s such a sexy daddy on all levels--his brains are my favorite of course.

And speaking of daddies and mommies...

Mommy is over there just doing his best to live, just to get through another day. He’s all smiles but Fai looks to me like he is trying really hard to be his usual genki self--the one that got stuck in that tower who knows how long ago.

The genki self that existed before all of the pain and sorrow that Nanase baked into his character she’s a total sadist and I love her all the more for it. In that sense, Fai is like Sei in that the line is blurred between their real personalities and who they pretend to be.

But in comes kurodaddy into his life and sees right through Fai’s bullshit because #sexybrain. I like to think he fell in love with the real Fai, of whom he got to see glimpses of.

Because it’s about the soul, right? Not the face Fai puts on for the world.

Anyways, so I love Fai’s character arc because it basically comes down to becoming who he was before the world broke his will to live. And Kurogane was a big part of Fai recovering that zest for life (he was drinking his blood ffs, how much more symbolical and metaphorical could CLAMP get with that?)

In the end, Fai couldn’t wait to be rescued to metaphorically leave the metaphorical tower behind, but rather, he had to rescue himself.

Seriously, CLAMP got super “Grim’s Brothers fairy tale” with Fai. Still need to write about it too.

All Kurogane could do was to watch from the sidelines, give him his Kurodaddy encouragement “shape-up-and-figure-out-where-you-stand” talks, and to cut off more limbs in the meantime.

So glad Fai figured out where he stands because trc could have ended with a limbless Kurogane because...

Which begs the very important question:

But, is it really true love if he didn’t put an eye on it? HM!

ANYWAYS, Kurogane persisted through all of this with Fai because he saw the real Fai.

I’ve 300% adored being able to see the friendship that is canonically depicted between them because you can tell they simply are good friends who care for each other’s well-being.

Ehem... that I think there’s more happening beneath the canonical surface is a different story.

In that way, kurofai feels so healing and so cathartic compared to seisub.

It’s such a breath of fresh air to see them heal one another for me. It’s like seeing these two souls who chose each other.

Honorary mention: Karen and Aoki

Ok. I felt like they would be such a boring choice tbh. I don’t feel for them the way I feel about that Toru and Saya panel so that’s why they get an honorary mention, but ultimately, don’t even make the list.

I just needed them to take up space between the other No1. in this list because...

So vanilla. We don’t do vanilla around here.

We do homoerotic courtship battles between fated lovers around here.

1. Seishiro and Subaru from Tokyo Babylon and x/1999

Caption: WHY CAN’T THEY JUST BE NORMAL FFS? (rhetorical question)

They are fatedest of fated. The kind of fated you do not want to be.

But fated, nonetheless.

Tanabata might sound romantic af but... it gets old if this is your reality and you’re just constantly pinning and longing melodramatically all the time.

YES I’M TALKING TO YOU SUBARU!!!!!!

They are basically two worst possible circumstances that oppose one another. Twin stars bound to one another by inevitability.

One who does not realize he feels emotions because he is desensitized from his emotional self, but is deeply emotional nontheless (about the weirdest shit too, god I love him).

And one who is deeply emotional, kind and empathetic to an unhealthy degree.

Its just them and their complete, absolute and incredibly irrational inability to meet in the middle.

WHY CAN’T THEY JUST BE NORMAL?! (rhetorical question)

It is truly heartbreaking that they only ever see “eye to eye” , true to their archetype of the fated lovers celebrated during tanabata, once in a lifetime. More on this in a bit...

And with them, you get this tiny glimpse of what could have been if the circumstances in their life had not been what they were.

DON’T YOU DARE GASLIGHT ME SEISHIRO, I AM ONTO YOU!!!

God I love him so much I want to strangle him.

All of this said, I have to say I admire how CLAMP created a depiction of the tanabata myth that presents the reason for the relationship as not actualizing itself because of circumstances that made the situation toxic on steroids.

And that’s what makes it all the more heartbreaking to me--they were truly each other’s “special someone” but were bound by fate to never become an actualized version of themselves that could ground the relationship down to human levels.

Their “love story" remained as one written in the stars--tanabata. It never became human and never will because, unlike kurofai, Seishiro and Subaru are stuck in a level of object relations that dictates how they see each other in relation to themselves.

I know I’ve complained about them the whole time but... I can’t deny the fact that seeing someone else at a soul level is an intense experience that I find very relatable.

Like I said, they did share something.

Maybe I’m projecting but I think they shared some really, really deep middle ground and that there was some sort of ease and understanding they had with each other at a soulful level.

They just couldn’t bridge that soul bond and ground it in their human selves for a hundred million stupid many reasons.

💖 What made you start writing?

I was writing since I was little. I literally found a book a month or so ago of a story from before I could even properly write for myself. I had drawn the pictures and then told my mother and grandmother what to write. It was a hilarious read honestly. I still wonder what happened to that prince and princess and if their parents ever did let be together.

But I didn't seriously start writing or I guess it's more like I didn't consistently start writing until like...2020? Like I had story ideas in the past I tried to write out, only to give before I barely begun. There was actually a period of time where I wrote a sequel idea to Rise of the Guardians and actually thought I could send it to Dreamworks and have them see it (and possibly produce it). Guess you could say that was my first fanfiction xD (before I even knew what fanfiction was). Like all I remember is that it focused on Pitch Black's daughter and she was found by the guardians and...That's all I remember. Her name was Twilight. Perhaps I could draw her at some point because I remember what I wanted her to look like. Gosh I'm rambling.

Anyway 2020. I get the book Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. Main character is a fanfiction writer who goes to school to make a career out of writing (funny how my life is becoming just that). After reading that book I was like "I want to write fanfiction." I didn't really know where to start. Arthur was my fav character and at the time and with my limit experience only have looked on Wattpad and some Fanfiction.net (specifically older fics) I felt the fandom did him dirty (yes I'm talking about the 2012 uwu must protect England). But I wasn't into any England ships. Then I thought of my OTP of the time: Ger//Ita. But I did not feel comfortable writing for Italy. Then I remembered hand-holding buddies were a thing. Erroneous Epilogue had just been made a few months ago so GerEng was still fresh in my mind. Even before shipping GerEng I held the headcanon that Lud and Art got together for a football match in memory of the 1914 Christmas Truce. I was like: "I can use that headcanon and make a GerEng fic." Because GerEng had very few fics to it's name especially on Wattpad which is the site I started on. Eventually, when everything shut down and I found I had a lot of time on my hands I began writing everyday and I soon fell in love with these two dorks and they became my new OTP.

Honestly I'm getting a little emotional writing this because, like I've shared in a previous ask, I just got into the creative writing stream for uni and writing is thus becoming more serious. It's just...hard to believe how much writing has been involved in my life and how I didn't start taking it so seriously until I began writing fanfiction. If it wasn't for Fangirl, if it wasn't for GerEng, who knows if I would be where I am now.

And I'm also emotional because when I started out writing, I of course hoped to gain some traction, but I never imagined I would get to where I am now. I never thought I'd find such lovely online friends. I never thought I'd write something people would come back to reread when they felt down. I never thought I'd get so many followers who are all wonderful and who binge my writing and find comfort in it. And I definitely never thought I would actually get fanart for the fics I write. It's amazing to see how far I've come and I can't wait to see where I go from here.

to the anon asking if grace and her man broke up: i think he was just making his insta look more professional. went to check it now and there's still pictures of her and her comments. also he was getting a lot of 'hate' and being made fun of because he seemed to only have pictures of her. that said, i just learned that apparently, she used to make stories wearing corroded coffin shirts, munson hoodie and she took a selfie in her home with a picture of london as the background??? as someone who has been involved with fandoms since i was 12 (i am now 34), i really do think she behaves more like the fan instead of the actress. maybe it's because she's too young (not that young but young enough to think she knows everything) and she can't handle the heat haters throw at her. i'm not saying it's deserved because she really did go through some scary shit like that time she was followed to her car. but the petty stuff fangirls write about her and shit, she pays too much attention to that. i also read she replies to comments that didn't even tag her in the first place. which means she seeks out that shit. then she writes in her blog, then deletes it and thinks she's being coy. she needs someone to manage her accounts. she's gonna screw herself out of jobs if she keeps up that behavior. she seeks out the hate in a way no professional actor/actress should ever do. i understand that she likes her character and her ship and she has every right to defend both things, but she can't keep engaging with fans who mock/harass other fans in her name. i'm fascinated by this because i only joined the joe fandom now. i never watched stranger things lol i mean, i did watch season 4 but only because of eddie and only after seeing the clip of him playing guitar. so i'm new and i'm learning about all of this and i thought 'hm, well, weird. she probably had enough and is now firing back.' and then i learn she's been pulling this shit since the start?? gives me a very strange vibe. it's like she tries to portray this image of being forever unbothered and just living her life but then something snaps and she has to show the haters that she's the boss, she's the one who's worked with joe and is friends with him and she's the one who plays the character some eddie fans ship him with... it's very ugly behavior. that girl needs to decide if she wants to be the ~~crazy gamer girl with pick me vibes~~~ or a professional actress who knows to separate one thing from the other and also knows that the best way to hurt the haters is by giving them nothing but silence.

The stories with the t-shirts were made also because they were gifts from fans and I think she usually post them 🤔but yes she was also "trolling".

Anyway, this is the past, I don't think she's doing this anymore

Loki’s plans to conquer and rule Midgard have come to a disastrous end. After being captured by the Avengers, he is being held on Earth. Odin has refused to interfere, and the outlook for the God of Mischief appear bleak. His only hope may lie in one mortal woman, a Psychiatric expert brought in to interrogate him.

"Well, that was some excitement!" Caroline tried for an amused tone, but it sounded flat to her own ears. "I am sorry for the interruption."

Loki didn't speak, but instead sat staring at his trembling hands, the haunted look she had seen in his eyes still shadowed there. Cautiously, not wanting to spook him further, she walked over and placed her hand on his shoulder. Loki winced at the contact but did not pull away. She could feel a slight shiver running through him.

"I will not let Pierce hurt you, Loki," she said quietly, uncertain how she would make good on the promise.

"Pierce," he spat the name. "A mere annoyance. What harm could he do to me? A few days of pain followed by death? Easy enough to face."

"Then what is it that you fear - no, let me rephrase that, as I know you fear nothing," she mentally rolled her eyes that the male ego, no matter the species, was apparently universal. "What has caused you to react so strongly?"

"Pierce is a child, nothing more. His imagination is limited. There are others... much more inventive in their tactics."

"And these others are looking for you?"

His silence was answer enough.

"Loki, what happened after you let go on the Bifrost?"

"What, do you desire a blow by blow of my year and more? I fell. I landed. I was found. I slept, I ate, I breathed. I survived."

"You fell, let's start there. I cannot imagine what that must have been like."

"No," he agreed quietly after a silent moment. "You cannot. Darkness, so complete and total you wonder if you still have eyes to see at all. Cold. Cold enough to takes away all sensation in your skin and bones. And silence that deafens in its totality. It was endless, the nothingness. It could have been days, or centuries, or the blink of an eye and I would not have known the difference. It just was."

"That sounds terrifying," she shuddered.

"To be completely alone with only your own thoughts? Mildly terrifying, yes. Particularly when your thoughts had wandered as far afield as mine had done recently. Of course, your kind would have been dead in an instant. Me though, I went on. Is it falling when there is no direction? I do not know. Eventually, a flicker materialized. I thought at first it was a sign of madness. I knew that I had not been exactly sane for some time... since that moment in the vault days before. Was I now adding hallucinations to my list of symptoms? But inexorably the flicker began to grow stronger, larger, to take on a shape. It was a ship, out beyond the realms, far from Odin's reach. I would have laughed if I remembered how, frozen as I was. I had sought an escape of one kind, but it seemed I had found another. Some kind souls were rescuing me from the grim fate that I had chosen over a life locked away in the Asgardian cells. Kind, merciful souls."

His voice was soft, but his lips twisted into a mocking sneer on the last words. Caroline sensed that he was far away, not with her at all. She gave him a moment, wanting to see what he would volunteer.

"Am I not lucky, Caroline?"

"That is not quite the word I would use. Were they kind? Your rescuers?" She had a sick feeling she knew the answer.

"At first they seemed so, to a point," he said in a dull voice. "They pulled me in, thawed me out, fed me. None of them spoke much, at least not to me, but gradually as my senses returned, I realized that it was no mercy mission they were performing. I was to be restored to health that I might be sold to a mining colony as slave labor. Needless to say, I did not care for this plan."

"I should think not. What did you do?"

"Took over their ship. It was not difficult. I thought of seeking out the colony they planned to sell me to and see how they liked being free labor, but in the end, it was too much trouble. I found a planet nearby and landed there, took their weapons for myself, and what supplies were of use to me and left them to rot or be rescued, whatever fate would determine, in their own brig."

"I would say that was charitable, all things considered," Caroline said. "What then?"

"I wandered for a time. Aimless, really. Gave myself over to the sort of vice and frivolity that Odin frowned on. If he was not my father, why should I obey his rules? If there was a place of ill repute in the outer planets, I sampled it. I learned quite a bit in my pursuits, so it was not all a waste. Perhaps someday I will share some of it with you, if you like."

The way his eyes became dark and hooded on the last words left Caroline with little doubt what sort of things he had learned. She did her best to hide the swift reaction his words caused through her body, but the slight smirk that ghosted over his lips left her embarrassingly certain that she had failed.

"Go on," she said, hating the strain in her voice.

"Things went on in this fashion for a bit," he resumed, after throwing her a sly smile. "Then one day, when my supplies had run low, I decided to help myself to an obligingly well-stocked armory. I had just slipped in and tucked a few things into my pocket dimension for later use, when I was suddenly beset by guards. I killed a score or so, but eventually their leader appeared, a female with blue skin and robotic alterations. She was a bit humorless, but recognized talent when she saw it. After some quick talking on my part, she dismissed the guards and invited me to meet her father."

"Her father?" Caroline prompted, as Loki went silent.

"Thanos," he said at last, the name sounding bitter. "The Mad Titan. A powerful being, even to me. He was looking for recruits for his army. I heard him out, but I have never really been much of a joiner, so at the end of the day I politely declined. It is safe to say that Thanos does not take rejection well."

"What happened?"

"He imprisoned me," Loki said, that haunted look returning to his eyes. "I had thought to escape one prison on Asgard, only to find myself in a far worse one. He gave my keeping over to a black sorcerer called the Other. Things went rapidly down hill from there."

"Torture?" Caroline guessed, grieving for him.

"Tortue as you know it would be nothing to the Other. He was a true artist. It was not just my body he sought to break, but my mind as well. He reached in and pulled out every thought, every feeling I had ever had. Do you know what it is to have your own mind used against you? Every day he played with me, inflicting pain only to heal me so that he could do it again. He created illusions so real, even now I am not entirely sure that you are real, and I do not still linger in that cell. He delighted in giving me hope, only to snatch it away and mock me for believing it might exist. And all the time, he asked for the same thing. That I swear over my allegiance to Thanos and be reborn as one of his children. He promised me everything I ever wanted - a home, a kingdom to rule, the chance to take my revenge on those who had wronged me. All I had to do was give away my will to him and his master."

"Loki, I am so sorry."

"I do not seek your pity," he snarled, before taking a deep breath and pulling himself back under control. "I resisted for months. I kept hoping he would tire of the game and kill me. I think he might have, but Thanos had a new idea. He arrived himself one day at my cell, a gold scepter in his hand with a glowing blue stone set in it. He was as kind as the Other had been harsh. He talked soothingly to me, reminding me of all that had been taken away by Thor, Odin, and their lackies. He insisted that he was not my enemy, he was one who would set me free. As he spoke, I began to feel my resentment for my false family grow. They had turned on me, humiliated me, lied to me. It was because of them I had suffered so much pain. Thanos told me again of his goal to save the universe, of the Infinity Stones, a collection of gems he needed to do so. This time, it seemed to make sense to me. He weaved a picture of a new order, with me as a central figure. He could help me, he promised. Send me to Earth with the power and armies to conquer it. It could be my realm, not Asgard perhaps, not yet, but surely better than the cold reaches of the Jotunheim that Odin had planned for me."

Caroline was practically holding her breath as he paused, not wanting to risk pushing him back into defensive silence. She had the feeling he was not even aware anymore that she was in the room. He was talking to himself as much as to her now.

"I knew it was a lie," he continued at last. "A part of my mind screamed at me not to listen, to keep resisting him. It all sounded so perfect though. And the resentment I felt, the righteous, all-consuming anger, drowned out the truth. On the one hand was revenge, sweet and rewarded, on the other a continuation of the endless torture I had endured. He held out the scepter and told me it was mine to wield if I would just do as he asked and bring him the tesseract when I had conquered Midgard."

"So you took it," Caroline finished when he did not.

"I took it. I sold my soul for power and revenge. I grasped it with both hands and threw myself into a war that was never mine. I became the villain Thor and Odin thought me. I chose, Dr. Thorpe, and I chose evil."

"It was not a fair choice," Caroline said, feeling it to her core.

"Fair is for children and pets," he shot back. "Life is not about fair. I could have fought longer. I could have resisted."

"That was the scepter in the room just now? The one this Thanos gave you?"

"It was."

"Why did you say none of them could use it?" there was a piece missing, she was sure of it.

"The scepter is not just a weapon, or not an ordinary one. The blue jewel embedded in the head, that is the Mind Stone."

"Mind Stone?" she asked.

"It took me a while to put it together, I blush to admit. There are six Infinity Stones - Mind, Power, Time, Reality, Space, and Soul. Each one has a different power. The mind stone, as you might infer, grants you control over the minds of others."

"That was how you hypnotized Dr. Selvig and the others," Caroline put it together.

"It was. One tap to the heart, and if the wielder has the power to use it, you have a willing slave," Loki confirmed. "There is more to it, however. More than I was told. Thanos had the Mind Stone in his possession for some time. He had worked on it, brought it under his control. When he gave it to me, he handed me a chain. All of the killing resentment I was feeling, the hate... that was stoked continually by the Stone. It effects all around it, appealing to their baser interests, tempting them to violence. If one of the lesser mortals tried to use it, someone who's mind was not strong, it would consume them utterly. They would be a puppet."

"So the whole time, the whole attack, you were being controlled as well!"

"I knew what I was doing," Loki shook his head. "I made a choice."

"A choice born out of torture! A choice coerced and enforced by mind control."

"I am not the victim, doctor. And I told you before, I do not want your pity."

"What about my compassion?" she demanded. "You suffered a terrible trauma, almost died in a void, were tortured endlessly, and to top it all off, when you were at your most vulnerable, you were subjected to a stone that controls minds. Loki, I have been a trauma specialist for over a decade, and I have never met anyone who has suffered more than you! Yes, you made mistakes. Before your fall and after it. But given everything you went through, who would do otherwise?"

"You see what you want to see," he smiled at her with pity of his own. "It is kind, but unwarranted."

"And what now?" she demanded of him.

"Now? I am guessing that your Secretary Pierce will have me killed. It was kind of Thor to get me this brief reprieve, and you are much more pleasing company than the soldiers, but I have learned the hard way not to trust in false hope. The trial will take place tomorrow, and I will be found guilty of war crimes and executed."

"How can you say that so calmly?"

"Death has been stalking me for some time, Doctor," he said. "That she finally caught me is hardly a surprise."

"No."

"No?" Loki sounded genuinely amused by her determined outburst.

"No, you are not going to be killed," she repeated, resolved within herself.

"And how, may I ask, are you going to stop it?"

"I don't know, but I will."

Caroline stood, smoothing her skirt down as her thoughts raced. Loki was a victim, despite his insistence to the contrary. She had suspected from the start that there was more to the story than the world knew, but even she had never dreamt the depth of his suffering. She would be damned before she let him suffer more. He needed care and time to heal, not a summary execution. She just had to figure out how to make the powers that be realize this.

"I need to talk to someone," she told him.

"I'm not going anywhere," he smiled sadly. "Not yet, at any rate."

"I will be back," she insisted, once more touching his shoulder and seeing his flicker of surprise. "Thank you, Loki, for telling me your story."

"You are easy to talk to, Caroline. And not like the other mortals I have encountered. I will be sorry not to get to know you better."

For once, Caroline didn't sense any double entendre lurking beneath his words. It went to her heart, and she felt a completely unprofessional urge to throw her arms around him and weep. Blinking back the hint of tears, she squeezed his shoulder instead and went in search of someone who might help them.

She really was a sweet little thing. Clever too, for a mortal. She had known just when to speak and when to keep silent, drawing out more than Loki had ever planned to share with anyone.

There was a slight easing, he was shocked to find, now that he had spoken his nightmare aloud. He had been holding it so tightly, doing his best to keep from even thinking about that lost year of his life. It sat all the time like a weight inside of him, gnawing away at what was left of his soul. The shame of surrendering to Thanos vied with the shame of his true Jotun nature for pride of place among his faults. A stronger, better man would have resisted till the end.

He was not a good man, or monster as the case might be. He was weak, flawed, fatally so. Caroline might think she could save him, but Loki knew better. She was but one woman, and the entire planet was united against her in their belief that Loki deserved death. What could she realistically do?

He realized that his hand had strayed to his shoulder, where she had recently touched him. It had been so long, he thought yearningly. So long since someone had touched him with compassion. Yes, he had spent time exploring a myriad of sexual experiences, but the men and women and others he partnered with had been little more than mere bodies, pleasurable in most cases, but hardly reaching deeper than the moment. There had been no empathy, no connection with any of them.

The last time someone had touched him in such a way had been when Frigga embraced him after he killed Laufey. It was Loki's last pleasant memory, and then Thor had arrived, and it had all spiraled out from there. Caroline reminded him a bit of Frigga. Kind, compassionate, optimistic in the darkest of times. She would mourn him, though, along with Caroline. Possibly Thor as well, who seemed to vacillate almost comically between defending and condemning his adopted brother. Poor Thor, Loki couldn't help thinking, attempting to reconcile two opposing thoughts when he could barely handle one.

That was more like it! Loki did not want to wallow in self-pity. It was much more in keeping with his self-image to mock his erstwhile brother than to look closely at his past. If he was going to die, he would do it with a quip and all the snark he could muster.

Perhaps when Caroline came back, and he no longer doubted she would, he could persuade her to send him off in style. He had seen her reactions to his flirting and knew that empathy was not all she felt for him. There was desire there between them, crackling in the air. It would be interesting to see where that might lead, if for no other reason than to make the long night before him more bearable. Losing himself in the lovely doctor would be easy enough to do, he was certain, and it would be a way to thank her for the kindness she had shown him.

Yes, he decided, straightening up on his bench. If this was to be his final night this side of Hel, he would spend it indulging in one last pleasure with the one person who saw him as worthy.

I don't know what I said about Sarada/Gaiden, but I have an idea.. so if you must know: yes, I am in fact studying creating a manga. Yeah, that says jack-shit- I’ll get to the point.

I’ve been obsessively studying story/world/character building ever since 2020 when I decided to learn how to draw in order to create my own web-manga, but I’ve been completely ignorant then, thinking that learning that was all I needed to do.

The way you set-up your panels, the flow in which the reader goes through your story, how you carefully pick out every single word of your characters and give anything you see, objects, gestures, composition, expressions.. all are equally as important! (If not more.) Then there are parallels and recurring themes, little hints and details.. the pace. It all matters.

Keep all I said before in mind and in short, Gaiden screams: “Sarada’s very existence is probably (partly) science based and Karin is in any case involved. Perhaps Orochimaru too. Also, they all look guilty, distressed and obviously are keeping secrets about the way she’s conceived/born and there is no proof SS are even married.” The recurring theme from Naruto to Gaiden however still is “connection” and “bonds”.

That’s just a fact. Canon Manga-wise. Same with everything SNS.

Now whether that eventually is the case or not we don’t know, we’ll have to wait. However, we don’t call the author: ‘Kishimoto-sensei’ for no reason. The man’s a genius as he forces us at times to read studiously in order to pick up the complex, though very obvious allegory within the Naruto-verse. He completely makes use of the previously mentioned manga potentials as expressive tools in order to deliver in my opinion the most beautiful narrative between two people ever written as well as darker themes which on the surface may seem like “just an easy-to-read shonen story.”

If you’re going to lecture me on storytelling, then in turn, I’d like to recommend you to look into Allegories in Literature. If you understand this method of writing and you would take off your NH/SS goggles then you might come to know what I mean. Meh, a little far-fetched to ask of you, but I still have hope.

But anyway, Kishimoto implying the Sarada thing in Gaiden and then in the end doing a complete 180 would be..

..well, maybe a repetition of Chapter 700 of Naruto. Defying all storytelling rules, dropping it all in the bin, rapidly diminishing, as if he suddenly forgot he was creating Naruto for a large part of his life.

It wouldn’t make any goddamn sense. But it can happen.

I would hold your ignorant hand to test my own patience and walk you through it, but there are people already who have made very insightful posts pointing out most of the things I had in mind. Okay this is just for fun. I saw a NH shipper person comment on a strictly Sns platform ( don't know why they bother) say that Sasuke was jealous of Hinata. When someone else replied that he wasn't even aware of her existence and Naruto literally ignored her confession in pein arc and right away went pining for Sasuke and in the next arc, repeated the same lines to Sasuke as Hinata (guessing Hinata's lines are retconned since there's no way Kishi wrote her lines before Naruto's to Sasuke), this was their response:

According to Naruto (the character's) standards, his reaction was pretty substandard as compared to how he worried for other people before. He just felt her Chakra in Sage mode and found that she was fine... Aaand that's all. He didn't even bothered to ask her 'How does she feel?'
