On Ed and Izzy's relationship

I see the "Izzy was the cunning mastermind manipulator in their relationship while Ed was his helpless innocent victim" take is doing the rounds again...

I honestly just feel sorry for anyone who can't comprehend and appreciate their relationship with its full complexity and nuance. Because it was simply magnificent. S01E04 alone is a masterpiece in character study that encapsulated their mutually toxic dynamic at its peak, and switching the character whose perspective you're watching it from completely switches what it looks like and who seems to be in the wrong. That episode was pure, beautiful, fucked up tragedy. They're both talking past each other. They both refuse to listen. Ed is crying out for help, but Izzy shuts him down. Ed wants to enjoy all those new fun original things on the ship that make him appreciate life again, but Izzy keeps nagging him. Clearly he's just an annoying, mean, insensitive buzzkill, right?

Except the whole time Izzy's terrified they are going to die because they're about to be attacked by the Spanish - something Ed brought upon them with his decision - and Ed seems completely disinterested in doing anything about it. Of course he's not going to indulge Edward playing with a toy ship or have a heart-to-heart in those circumstances. He doesn't insult or mock Ed for being suicidal, he simply points out that they're literally going to die if he doesn't come up with a plan right now. Meanwhile Ed's deliberately withholding crucial information from his own first mate and the rest of the crew, either (less charitable interpretation) for his own entertainment or to flex his skills or (slightly more charitable interpretation) to make a point to Stede.

The rest of it was so masterfully balanced out too. Right up until the point where Izzy betrayed them to the Navy, he didn't actually do anything wrong. Yes, he was still wrong - but so was Ed. Izzy was the "lawful evil". He was the one playing by the rules, while Ed was trying to cheat his way out of having to make a decision. Trying to run away from his problems instead of confronting them head-on (or just crashing into the opposite extreme and trying to violence his way out of his feelings) was literally the major theme of Ed's character. So was his inability to form meaningful relationships without bolting or lashing out the moment he encounters an obstacle. Completely removing this from the equation while putting all the blame on Izzy simply destroys Ed's agency and character depth.

We were literally given a glimpse of his childhood abuse to see where his trauma originated. It wasn't Izzy. Nor was it Izzy who appeared as the embodiment of Ed's self-hatred in the gravy basket. Izzy didn't somehow singlehandedly isolate Ed from forming meaningful relationships with people. He never had this much power over Ed. Their relationship was mutually toxic and codependent, but neither of them was each other's slave, they still had their own mind. We saw Ed constantly ignoring Izzy's advice and his judgment. We literally only saw it work when Izzy had the backup of other crew members and got overruled, and when he struck out at Ed when he was at his weakest and most vulnerable. And Ed wasted no time reestablishing the power dynamic in his favour, where it stayed until they managed to symbolically-and-almost-literally kill each in S02E02. That's what it took. That's how powerful their fucked up toxic relationship was.

That's exactly what I don't get about Ed fans who are Izzy haters (or misunderstanders). They claim to love Ed... and then they strip him of all the darkness and complexity and anything even remotely "unpalatable" that makes him such a richly realised character, and turn him into a cardboard cutout who's so indefensible as a character that the only way they can prevent people from criticising him is by pulling out the racism card. Which is so ironic and absurd because OFMD is amazing at diversity and writing characters equally well no matter what their gender, sexuality or skin colour is. It's also literally a show about one of history's most famous pirates. If someone doesn't want to see PoC characters portrayed behaving violently (even when that violence is shown to be caused by trauma and general pirate lifestyle and not indicative of their moral worth as a person), then OFMD probably isn't for them.

Using The Dark World to illustrate my issue with "taking away" Loki's traditional costuming...

I have already alluded to the fact that I am not 100% on board with the Loki series. I am probably not as much of a hater as some because yes I have watched the entire thing and it was...just fine. It is NOT the same character though, I can never shake the feeling that this just isn't "my" Loki so even though I enjoyed elements of it, overall it was a disappointing experience and I don't think I'll ever make peace with it. You know what one of my problems is? The main TVA costume. I have heard ALL the excuses as to why putting Loki in boring dirty human clothes was needed to show character development or whatever but sorry, I refuse to accept. Because what we deemed Loki's "prison pyjamas" back in 2013 already achieved the aim of stripping him of the gilded trappings of royalty and then Loki himself LITERALLY tore layers off himself in his grief over Frigga's death. The prison costume still honoured his Asgardian status and his prior characterisation while being basic. It removed any decorative elements and was put together more for the fact he'd be wearing it a long time than to show off that he's a prince, it removed anything that was for ceremonial purposes. Yes I know he immediately puts his old (and a variation of his very best) costume back on during the prison break scene but I just wanted to say that you can show Loki as a broken version of himself, as a character who needs to reassess his position in the world, without putting him in a ratty old shirt that looks like something my mum bought for me from Marks and Spencers when I was a schoolgirl. I was so STARVED of Loki actually looking like Loki that I quite liked his ascension/"hero" look in the series finale. I mean, the lighting is still shitty so the deep forest green of the behind the scenes photos comes out a wishy-washy browny-green, and I didn't even realise there were gold beading details until I saw those photos. But at least it resembled something that was closer to what Actual Loki would wear (even though it's not really the same character.)

The annoying thing is there is CONCEPT ART with Loki wearing clothing that adheres more to his in-character look. I will never understand. They had an insane budget, so you can't even say the Asgardian leather and gold was too expensive!

Hi so i only recently got into hamilton and really liked lmm in it but ive been seeing a lot of pjo fans talking about not wanting him as hermes and you are a lmm expert so i wondered if you knew why people are hating on him for being casted in pjo?

first of all, i am actually flattered that you called me an expert (i am literally not but i do know a lot, i observe, i go through lmm tag every day, i get mad when i see people talk shit about him, basically i'm super loud about my love for this guy so there's that some call it dedication, i call it obsession lol).

there are a lot of reasons actually but all of them are just so silly to me. for example, some people say he is a bad actor (if hamilton is not enough for you, please go watch his dark materials, he is excellent and i will fight). others say he can't sing (he can, he may not have the most incredible vocals ever, not like most broadway stars and i know a lot of people compare him with the best singers out there, but it doesn't mean he can't sing, also, he is much better now than he used to be years ago, for example i'd recommend listening to vivo soundtrack, especially keep the beat or one more song, i mean EXCUSE ME BUT MY MAN CAN SING). another reason: some people say he is annoying because he puts raps everywhere. ok, and? he is a great rapper, i'll say more: he is also a freestyle rapper, very talented indeed (i recommend checking literally any freestyle love supreme video on youtube or you can just go through my fls tag here. making up rhymes on the spot? pretty insane if you ask me). there is also a group of people who think he is cringe, his rhymes are cringe, some of his songs are not good, etc etc (i bet those people can write better songs). i think he is one of the greatest composers of our generation and i will, of course, fight (haters, please shut the fuck up about the scuttlebutt, this song was supposed to be annoying, you just don't get it apparently? same with my own drum actually. can we just stop pretending that he is talentless because of those songs you guys literally have no taste and you hate fun and also shut tf up). oh, and also, people these days very often say he is everywhere and it's annoying (this is literally his job but whatever). and my all-time favourite: some people are mad that he was playing hamilton because they think he didn't deserve it (he literally wrote the whole thing but ok). one more thing: i have never read pjo, i literally just started reading it only because of lin, so i know nothing about hermes, but personally i really hope he will sing/rap, just because i want to see them all suffer.

there were also other controversial stuff (with in the heights, hamilton and puerto rico) but we are not going to discuss it on my blog, sorry (mostly because i have my own opinion about it and i know i will get a lot of hate for speaking my mind). one thing i can say is that nobody's perfect, we all make mistakes sometimes and i will always fight for him, no matter what.

Grogu. 15.) Opinion of Anakin’s characterization (I.e the broification of Anakin Skywalker).

This is a very loaded question because I don’t really swing either way with this topic (as in I don’t love or hate it). Like on the one hand, I like how in the CW show they made Anakin more with it and mature when the situation calls for it which makes sense considering he has Ahsoka to consider and he has to be a good role model for her. I also appreciate how in the show Anakin isn’t just bitching about Obi-Wan or obsessing over Padme all the time or being pissy with his other Jedi colleagues. I love seeing Anakin actually being a model Jedi and actually showing that he truly does love and respect Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, etc. However Anakin is seen as more sensitive in the movies and doesn’t always respond with such rage all the time like he does in CW show. Like bro Anakin’s anger goes from 0-1,000 in seconds to the point where he’s just destroying gadgets, kicking Clovis ass, etc. So in short, in some ways I personally think they did a good job expanding on Anakin’s character in the CW however there is no denying there is a huge distinction between Matt Lanter Anakin and Hayden Anakin. They most likely went the bro route because toxic masculinity is in.

Leia hands down. Her character is one of the very few Star Wars characters that is consistent and true in every single project we see with her in it. And like I’ve never met a Leia hater in my whole life and if I did I would question that person’s character because Leia is a badass that holds everything together when no one else will or when people leave her. She honestly deserves her own show.

why do people wanna hurt Robin so badly??

i'm trying to understand it, but i can't. he can be annoying at times, sure, but he's one of the least annoying LIs in my opinion. sure, Robin not getting a real job and having to pay for him is a hassle, but you don't have to have him as an LI if you really don't want to, and still keep him safe--just don't raise his "lust" stat high enough to trigger the scene.

no genuine hate towards anyone who dislikes Robin, i'm just trying to understand why y'all would wanna go so far as to drag him down to the UB with you, just to watch and make him suffer. it just confuses me.

I'm gonna put on my serious hat for this one just because I think it's an important topic that extends not only to my personal takes on characters but also the common trend of "because you do this immoral act, you must endorse it in real life!" that is in a lot of fandoms. This fandom is still relatively small and maybe I'm preaching to the choir, but still, it feels like a message I need to put out there sometimes.

Especially when new people keep joining.

Before I go on my tangent, I'll just sum it up as "it's fictional, do whatever you want."

How a character responds to suffering is fascinating and sometimes just a fun way to explore their personality. How do they respond to having their life on the line or their individuality stripped away? How does Robin act based on their level of confidence? As for people who avidly dislike Robin, it's their opinion and they have the right to that.

Now, personally, I adore Robin. Love Robin. All of my mutuals can vouch for that.

I also like angst and suffering. A lot. I think it's fun and considering what DoL is as a game, it's entertaining. I sent Robin's ass to the UB because I wanted to see the scenes and how they are compared to being there alone, and I wanted to see Robin crack like a lil egg. High Confidence Robin is very entertaining and I love him.

I also imagine people who hate Robin would do the same shit. Idk, I'm not a Robin hater. I have sent Kylar's ass to prison multiple times, though. I also have a friend who despises Whitney and always chooses to send them to the UB during their dismissal event. The one time they didn't, they beat Whitney's ass so often that their dominance stat literally disappeared from their tabs.

If it's not your thing to put your little guys through Hell, then that's perfectly fine!

But as someone who actively went out of his way to go collect alll Robin's Punishments and UB scenes (which is under #sorry robin if anyone is curious lol), you can see where my stance lies. It's just fun. Harmless fictional fun.

Usually, I wouldn’t post about this kinda thing... I’m not even sure this is fully necessary to be posted. I don’t wanna make it seem like I’m trying to grab attention or pity or anything like that just so someone could feel bad for me. No, that’s not the point of this post. But its mostly to show how sensitive and toxic fans could get about a youtube show that’s not even that good.

I’m sorry to all the Vivzipop stans, but whether it’s a fact or opinion of mine, Helluva Boss is NOT the greatest thing on earth people. And it’s not just because of the writing or the characters. It’s just not that good. This web series is not pitch-perfect! It should not be that great to where you should feel the need to go after people who don’t like it.

If you love this show to death to the point where you would call it your most favorite series, then fine. It’s whatever. LOVE the show. I really don’t care. I’m not gonna judge someone for liking something I don’t like. I’m not THAT immature! I’m not gonna make a comment on someone’s post, calling anyone stupid or crazy for shipping Stolitz or saying Stolas or Blitzo are well-written characters or that Stolas makes a great father. I don’t even bother to make a comment on a post about people not liking critiques about HB/HH, saying something like, “Those haters don’t know what they’re talking about!” “What is wrong with these critiques??” “This is a bad take!” Mostly because I would just be wasting my breath.

So with that being said, why make those same comments on a simple critical post!!??

So I made a post about the recent gif of the new and upcoming episode of Helluva Boss. It’s shown with Striker capturing Stolas and they make a ride somewhere on a horse (which is a complete waste of time. Your main objective is to kill him. Just shoot the frikin bird!) And I was mainly ranting about how it didn’t make sense that Stolas was getting captured. I was saying that despite being tied up he could’ve used his abilities and turned Striker into a stone like he did with an imp in episode 2 of season 1, or not even just that, just any of his powers. Though I did make a fair statement saying that whatever was tied around him could be some sort of special angelic rope that could be keeping him from using his powers. All while also pointing out that he is still free to move his legs cuz they don’t appear to be tied together. And his hand is free; he’s on the phone with Blitzo. I also opinionated that this might be another Stolitzo-centric episode and I was not going to like it. And THAT was when the hate comments came my way (No kidding, honestly)

One of them didn’t even seem like it was harassment, but it still annoyed me how they said I was just whining and complaining. They said, “Duh! Blitzo and Stolas are the main couple!” and “If you don’t like it, then don’t watch!” “What’s the problem with it?”

You wanna know why that’s a problem?

Okay. First off... Stolas and Blitzo are NOT EVEN A COUPLE! I don’t know where the crew is going with these two, but they’re not even official yet. Plus, there is no point continuing with the Stolitz-centric BS if it’s going to take long for them to become a thing. And how can they be?? How would it even make sense? I highly doubt Stolas would even make a good boyfriend. Stolas being the horny perverted dick-for-brains that he is does nothing but flirt with Blitzo and makes inappropriate remarks at him to the point where they have to censor his words. All he ever did was make Blitzo uncomfortable, and he knew that!!

Not to mention he forced Blitzo into an agreement to have sex with him each month in exchange for a book which is totally pointless now! Especially when there’s this thing called asmodean crystals, where you could use them to go to the living world anytime you want!! And at that moment, he saw through one of the bath bubbles that Blitzo was in the middle of a dangerous predicament and STILL decided to call him at the worst time just to make this deal. Since it was in the heat of the moment, Blitzo felt he had to agree with him just so he could end the conversation and get back to finishing his job while staying alive. That just goes to show me that Stolas was using this to his advantage to make Blitzo agree with him since he saw what was going on and decided to call him while his life was on the line. He totally knew what he was doing!! And since being caught by humans is SUCH a bad thing and would cost your reputation, why risk that kind of possibility with no ounce of concern for your “boyfriend’s” safety?

And instead of seeing Blitzo as a person with FEELINGS, why does Stolas call him his, “Impish Little Plaything”? He’s practically telling Blitzo, “I OWN YOU!” He was literally taking advantage of him and manipulating him!!! And if he loves Blitzo oh so much, why does Stolas still feel so entitled while looking down on the imp race! He’s not even as nice to Moxxie or Millie. And he even abused his butler!!

And then there was that time on their date when Asmodeus was calling him out on having an affair with Blitzo and had the absolute NERVE to try and hide his face!! Why was he suddenly embarrassed about that anyway? This was NOT the first time where he was seen in public with him. He was fully obligated to show himself at the door with Blitzo in front of that guard that wouldn’t let him in. He even flirted with Blitzo in front of everybody at that Harvest Moon Festival!! And now, all of a sudden, he’s embarrassed to be seen with? And he had the AUDACITY to invite Blitzo into his home to cuddle with him!!!

It’s not like Blitzo is innocent in this either. He also manipulated Stolas just to get what he wanted. Not once, but twice. He tricked Stolas into stealing all of his father’s belongings when they were kids. Tricked him ONCE AGAIN when they grew up, seducing him as a way to distract him while stealing his grimoire. Blitzo didn’t even care about him. He probably didn’t even want to see him after all those years! He was just there to take the book and LEAVE!! And he only went along with having sex with him out of pity.

How can we even call these two a couple, yet Blitzo was so quick to let Sharkboy bang him in his room! And why did we hear Stolas call Striker “sexy” while on the phone with Blitzo in one of the leaks???

Yeah... main couple my ass....

These commenters go on to say something like, “You’re not critiquing! All you’re doing is complaining! You’re just being a hater!!”

Now, let me explain the difference between criticism and hate:

Criticism - the expression of disapproval of someone or something based on perceived faults or mistakes.

the analysis and judgment of the merits and faults of a literary or artistic work.

Criticism can be positive or negative. I mostly give negative criticism while also showing some irritation and annoyance about whatever I’m talking about. I’m pretty sure that’s mostly where they think I’m just complaining or hating on it.

Okay, so I like to express my feelings... so what??? EVERYONE does it when they give a critical analysis. And I’ll admit, I do hate the show. I definitely don’t feel for it like I did when the pilot first came out. But at least I actually have A REASON for hating it. More than a few reasons in fact.

Speaking of hate -

Hate - the feeling of intense or passionate dislike for someone or something.

People always say that hate is a strong word, and I can agree. But the difference is that when you hate something, there is no reason or logic. When you hate something, you don’t care at all about wanting that something to improve or get better than how it is. It doesn't matter, because you just hate it that much! All there is is mockery and disrespect. And when you express hate, you’re attacking someone or harassing them with your harsh words.

And me hating something is different, cuz at least I’m actually expressing the reason why I don’t like it. And I’m not trying to harass ANYONE!! I’m just saying what I think is wrong, why I think it’s wrong, and that I don’t like it! And I actually WANT HB to get better.

Some may think I’m complaining about something when really all I’m doing is stating a fact or opinion.

"the writers will come up with a stupid bad reason” is not a good critique, it's just complaining.

Well sh*t, am I lying??? Man cheats on his wife, and we all know cheating is wrong, no matter why he did it. Oh, but wait- turns out she’s very abusive toward him and doesn’t love him at all! So now, it’s suddenly okay that he cheats. And despite hating him, she still decides to stick around and not divorce him just because she likes to torment him. Why does she like to torment him? Who knows! She’s just evil by nature as it turns out! Man could divorce said wife himself, but only sticks around for the sake of his daughter so she could live a normal life even though he and his wife already constantly fight in front of her. Can’t ignore the fact that he flirts with someone in front of her and continues his affair with that someone despite how she felt about it.... and he just wants her to be happy....

Yeah... definitely makes total sense.

Then they say this, “Maybe Stolas isn’t escaping because it’s a comedy show, DUH!! Things aren’t supposed to make sense. Sometimes things happen and you have to go along with it.”

No...No, sweetheart. That’s not how things work. Besides, for a comedy show that’s not supposed to make sense and be taken seriously, they really try their hardest to tackle some serious moments that are supposed to be soo emotional. And with the way THEY’RE doing it, it’s not very easy for me to just go along with it. There are some things I just can’t ignore and I’m going to feel annoyed by them. I’m sorry (I’m really not)

And as for, “If you don’t like it, then don’t watch it!”

Let me tell y’all somethin’.... If I wanna criticize and post about shows that I think need criticism, then I’m gonna continue to watch the show. If I wanna put anti-tags on posts, then will do that. And if I wanna watch something simply to laugh and make fun of it, then I will. If YOU don’t like that, then that’s on you. Just know that all you’re doing is wasting time typing your butthurt comments about me “complaining” about something knowing damn well I’m going to continue making criticism regardless of how you feel when you can simply just ignore me. Better yet, just BLOCK ME so you won’t have to see me complain about your precious favorite show ever again. I don’t understand what’s so hard about that. It won’t take but a couple of clicks of a button.

And lastly, one of these comments go on to harass me, calling me pathetic and mentioning this, “How could you hate on something, make art of it and sell it?? You can’t even come up with anything creative on your own! How pathetic!” And it is a VERY stupid reason to come at me over a criticism post. I don’t like HB, there are a lot of people who don’t like HB, but lots of other folks do. So I make art of it and I sell it. And it’s not like I’m intentionally stealing anything. I know I’m drawing the same art style, but I’m creating my own designs of my OCs. I’m not the only person who does this, mind you! I’ve seen plenty of artists do this on Twitter and Deviantart. So what this person is trying to point out here is completely irrelevant!

I may have replied back and said, “There are other people who do this kinda thing. So go and harass them! Go back and forth on their post!” I really didn’t wanna recommend they do this to other people, so I apologize on behalf of the people who sell art with this style or criticize this show for saying that. I was mostly just telling them what’s the point of coming at me for this reason when other people do it too. Like I said, all they’re doing is wasting their time knowing we are never going to hear them out.

So yeah, I just wanted to put this out there. These guys really irritated me. Looks like I joined the club, being harassed by toxic fans. Maybe I shouldn’t have bothered replying to them and going back and forth with them. These guys were probably twelve years old. There’s no point in me arguing with children, cuz they never admit when they’re wrong. But if I feel that someone sh*t-talking me, then I won’t let it slide!!

What a great way to welcome the seventh season of BNHA, don't you think? Well, before I start arguing because I PERSONALLY BELIEVE that Toga is a SHIT character. I'd like to clarify 3 things

If you're a fan of this character, well I have nothing against it, in the end this is just my opinion.

If you don't share the same opinion on the matter, that's fine, but don't come and try to defend her. This post is only for the HATERS OF THIS CHARACTER and if you insist on coming to denigrate me just for this, you will earn a block. If you don't like it, don't watch it

If you come annoying to say "They're just fictional characters." Nobody wants to hear your opinion, I know it's fiction, but it doesn't give you the right to bother others with your "wisdom" (to put it fragilely).

It's sad to see a series that I loved so much, despite being a generic shonen, become so ridiculous. I warn you at once how bad the plot in general will be from the 7th season onwards. However, the worst revolves around this character. Previously I made a post where I said the worst and ridiculous events that happen in the manga and that will happen this season. So in the meantime, I explained the reasons to hate Himiko toga

She victimize herself because "no one understands her":

Apparently she only knows how to feel sorry for herself only because she feels "misunderstood." As if killing people was something "harmless" and not something serious. Now it turns out that "being herself" is succumbing to those practices and that is "a good thing." Obviously I don't agree with how her parents treated her, but that doesn't justify her even accepting that she has a serious problem and, to make matters worse, not even making an effort to do something about it. It was easier for him to leave

The reason why she joined the league of villains:

This one is pretty obvious. She runs away from her house after killing an innocent boy who didn't even know her, and wants to join the villains just because she "feels like they misunderstand her." Come on! She only joined because they're just as insane as her (each with their own traumas, obviously). Even Dabi's situation is even more UNDERSTANDABLE than "Toga's suffering". Obviously, since they are also criminals, they didn't reproach her for anything and that is why "they're already her friends." She believes that they are her friends only because "they accepted her as she is." In other words, if you tell her that "what she does is wrong and try to explain her" you are her enemy and "if you tell her that killing is okay and you support her", you are already her friend. WTF!?

Blame society for their problems rather than their actions:

The "poor thing" apparently believes that others are to blame for her current situation, except her for not "accepting her as she is." And yes, oh, many say that "she is like that because of her quirk", well... she doesn't seem to express that she doesn't want to be like that, making excuses for blaming societ

She Enters the psychopathic profile:

If you've seen as many documentaries about serial killers as I have, you know that they all have something in common: They feel no remorse for their actions, because they believe that what they do is right. Psychopaths/sociopaths share the characteristic of believing that what they do is right or they don't feel anything... well, that's toga. Furthermore, many of the greatest psychopaths in history began with animal abuse. And guess what made toga? yup... she killed birds to drink their blood and said that "they were beautiful dead ones." Obviously this is not a coincidence, and she would be better off in a psychiatrist.

Spoiler: Uraraka told her that she has "the most beautiful smile in the world":

This will appear in season 7, and I warn you to have bleach ready for your ears. During her battle against Toga, Uraraka said that she "envied her smile, because it was beautiful"..... Uraraka.... can someone please explain to her that that supposedly beautiful smile is actually a reflection of ALL THE INNOCENT VICTIMS THAT SHE KILLED WITHOUT MERCY OR REMOR AND THAT IF SHE BE ALIVE NOW WOULD I DO IT AGAIN!!?? In conclusion and as an extra spoiler: she died as she lived, as an amoral psychopath without learning a single lesson or regretting having killed innocent people.

Hello Transformers fans! As you can see the title, this is my first post on Tumblr. So today I'll be talking about Transformers...Transformers 𝘗𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘦 to be exact. And this is about a certain ship...a popular one.... So ever since I rewatched TFP and found out that fanfictions exists, like character x reader and blah blah blah, I noticed something and I was like...ok nice, until I saw it all over the internet. Wattpad, DeviantArt, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, Tumblr, YouTube, and more...let's say I got a bit...annoyed. And I'm talking about a certain ship, the Knockout and Breakdown ship. The 'popular' ship that has been going around, and I keep seeing it on my fyp. This '𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱' all ppl would call has made me disgusted. AF. I heard that there's some kind of comic where Knockout and Breakdown are 'married', and people saying that its '𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘯', pissed me off. I've seen WAYYY too many stuff like that. Because first of all, Knockout is the Decepticon medic (as you all should obviously know, for those of you who watched TFP) and breakdown is his assistance. Those two are just friends, literally just friends. And idk why tf you people ship these two. Like, imagine getting shipped with 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘰𝘸𝘯 friend/buddy or assistant or whatever. But I have a question, 𝘞𝘏𝘖 even MADE that comic? With Knockout and Breakdown being married and stuff? First of all they're Cybertronians, and they could be asexual. For those of you who watched Transformers Prime, there's that one episode in season 3 ep 7 (Plus One), where Knockout says. "Frankly, I find it 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘭𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘷𝘦. The whole idea of you fleshies...𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨". Now I'm not sure but I think 'interfacing' means....'sex' in the Cybertronian terms (correct me if I'm wrong). And I've seen some...Knockout and Breakdown fanarts that...have NSFW...and boy I was 𝘖𝘉𝘝𝘐𝘖𝘜𝘚𝘓𝘠 𝘿𝙄𝙎𝙂𝙐𝙎𝙏𝙀𝘿. 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗟𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗗. 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘 𝗪𝗧𝗙. First of all they're 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗦 for Primus's sake. Second of all they are 𝘔𝘈𝘓𝘌, and what makes you think that males would do...𝘛𝘏𝘈𝘛?! They don't have a vagina! And third of all, they are 𝗡𝗢𝗧 together, idgaf what you people say, claiming that its 'cannon'. Wtf? And I believe that all Cybertronians 𝘢𝘳𝘦 asexual. And I've seen something like a character in RID named 'Wildbreak' is KO and BD's 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥?! 𝗪𝗧𝗙?! 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗜𝗦 𝗠𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗨𝗣. Now the reason why I freaking 𝗛𝗔𝗧𝗘 this 'ship' so much is that I am a huge ass simp for Knockout and Breakdown's in the way. I don't understand, what makes you fans think that this 'ship' is cute? I don't understand why I hate things society loves, and they hate what I love? For example, I hate dogs (sorry dog lovers), and yet they are the most popular pets. I love horses...but not many people love them that much. This is why I hate people. This is why I hate the society and everything. This world is so messed up. Now idc what people say about me hating on this ship,(maybe I do cre cuz I want to STOP this ship) I don't ship any TFP character with anyone, and neither do my friends. My friends recently watched TFP and if they find out about this Knockout and Breakdown 'ship', they're gonna be 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗳. KO and BD and 𝗡𝗢𝗧 together in 𝘛𝘏𝘈𝘛 way in the show, and whoever made that IDW comic is an idiot (I would have given a worse insult, but I chose not to). 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗬. 𝗔𝗥𝗘. 𝗡𝗢𝗧. 𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗡. Only friends, and that's it. And plus, poor Breakdown died thanks to that ugly Airachnid. Oh and, another reason why I hate this ship is because I love Knockout, but I hate Breakdown. And that IS actually messed up (sorry BD lovers). So I guess that's it for today. I hope I'm not the only Knockout x Breakdown ship hater. Haters will hate. Deal with it 😐. Have a good day people.

Listen. I am not a hater. I never wish ill upon anyone. I truly want everyone in the world to be happy and healthy. I love cheering people on and watching people succeed, even people who I don’t know. I love when good things happen.

I am in love with Glen Powell, I am a complete girls girl and was therefore cheering for Sydney Sweeney (even though I’ve never actually watched anything with her in it), and I ADORE romcoms

That being said, I am actively rooting against that ‘Anyone But You’ movie

In part because of the whole PR thing. WHY did they think spreading rumors of an affair would look good for them or the production? Poor choice. I know that some people have the idea that there’s no such thing as bad press, but I disagree. That affair thing may have worked well in the early 2000s but I think that Gen Z is different and that just made us annoyed or even stop liking them. I don’t think they were expecting that, this is one of the first times that an adult romcom is being targeted for a Gen Z audience. They had to learn that the PR tactics that worked on older generations won’t work on us. It was an extremely poor choice.

And in part because that trailer looks so bad. The stiff acting, they have no chemistry, Sydney Sweeney over acting (I’m so sorry girl you are still amazing and wonderful and talented!!), why are they trying to make it look like a 50 shades thing - it’s making me cringe. Who the FUCK was in charge of casting?? They do not remotely look like they were in college together. Did they even have a chemistry test? I feel like they just picked two hot people that Gen Z/millennials liked and casted them. Literally, everything that I’ve been seeing being pushed by the film has been about how hot Glen Powell (and Sydney too, but less so) is and that’s why you should see it. ALSO OMG GLENS COSTUMES? The scene with the balloons where he was wearing headphones around his neck gave me the ick because I could tell they were trying to make him look younger. What age are they saying these characters are? Is Sydney’s character supposed to be 35 (glens age), is Glen supposed to be 25 (Sydney’s age while filming), are they meeting in the middle and saying they’re 30???

When Glens character said “how are we supposed to convince people that we like each other” I thought the exact same thing because I wanted to turn off the trailer by that point.

Also…. WHY are they fake dating? What’s the point?

I’m almost embarrassed FOR everyone involved. Also, please please please don’t come after me I’m just ranting! Everyone can have their own opinions and you are totally right to love the trailer and be excited for the movie! Maybe I’m wrong and the movie will be wonderful and a masterpiece! (I won’t watch it though so I’ll take someone’s word for it) I just wanted to rant! :)💗
