Text
I wrote a heart today to care,
Because the old one's wear and tear
But shows that true love wanes to be
A haemorrhaged soliloquy
That never leads to anywhere.
I did not want this wordy spare,
Nor will I claim it can compare,
But for the sake of all who plea
I wrote a heart.
I wrote it bold, and free, and fair;
So bright one'd need to shield its glare,
All to make see love sets you free,
As such, your gift, once, given me;
Because some ones may mean one pair,
I wrote a heart.

Vivantes
Vivantes émotions ! Enivrantes passions
De mon cœur qui se noie de joie ou de tristesse,
De colère ou de peur, qui jamais ne délaisse
Mon cerveau animé de chaque sensation.
Et me voilà vibrante et toute en réaction
Allant de la caresse au coup bas qui me blesse :
Vivantes émotions - vives contradictions -
Qui, de feu ou de peu, passant me bouleversent.
Ainsi donc je subis maintes agitations
De la noire détresse à la radieuse ivresse
Frustrée le plus souvent de trouver expression
Et finir qu’on acquiesce, à regret, disant : Est-ce
Vivantes émotions ? Navrante inspiration.

In the Eyes of Love
In the eyes of love up above.
No hate is seen in that far place.
Yet still, pain is a common case.
It's known like the call of a dove.
Because pain is the cost of love.
A part there is not much talk of.
We will scar eachothers faces
but we will live through this great race.
In the eyes of love
But our wounds we will soon erase.
And you I will not dispose of.
Now I will pardon a biface.
Because you were my heart's birthplace.

L’antre
Entre la grotte et la saillie,
Trottent la bête et la Cassandre
Dans la quête de soi trahie
Entre le ventre et le sein tendre.
Au bord de l’antre, on peut entendre
Les pleurs, les cris, les gargouillis,
Que nul ne parvient à comprendre
Entre la grotte et la saillie.
Dedans dehors, c’est le fouillis,
Tant qu’on ne sait quel chemin prendre,
Entre les deux, comme ébahies
Trottent la bête et la Cassandre.
Je suis comme elle à s’y méprendre,
Je suis des entrailles et taillis,
Ravie au détour des méandres
Dans la quête de soi trahie.
Nous serons toujours envahies
Du désir vieilli de s’éprendre,
Antre de l’être encore haï
Entre le ventre et le sein tendre.
