Rain dance

You decided to visit the shop late one day.

You were busy and didn't get a chance to actually talk to him so you decided since you took a break that you would visit him.

You walked in and smiled at the Toymaker who was focusing on a shelf before turning his attention to you.

"Ah I haven't zee you in a while," he rushed to you pulling you in a hug.

You hugged him back before he pulled away.

"I've been busy."

"I understand, especially zince you moved here not too long ago, ja?"

"I wouldn't say so."

He suddenly grabbed your hand and pulled you over to a new shelf you haven't noticed before, you could tell they were new toys.

"Zince you left for a bit I've redecorated zo how do you like ist?"

"I like it."

There were a few taps on the window so we turned to it reliazing it's raining.

"Oh nein it is zhe raining, do you need an unbrella?"

"No, I'll be fine," I smiled.

"Okay, oh and I also got zomething else," with that he went back behind the counter and switched something on before music started to play.

It was like soothing music calm.

"Nice music."

He went back to me.

"Ah yes, it is like zee dancing music, ja?" He took my hand.

I chuckled as he brought me close and we started to dance.

We danced for a bit before pulling away.

"You're a nice dancer y'know."

"Really? Danke."

I smiled before heading towards the door but he opened it for me.

"Thank you," I stepped out into the rain.

He came up behind me and pulled out an umbrella putting it over me.

"It's really no need-"

"But it is nein problem too."

I reached in my pocket and gave him 25 cents, he took it putting it in his pocket.

He walked me a few blocks before stopping me.

"Before you leave," he took my hand.

"One last dance?"

I agreed and we started to dance again he had put the umbrella down and token both my hands as we slowed dance.

The gently tapping of the rain, the smell of fresh rain in the chilly air but the Toymaker was warm so the air wasn't a problem.

He kept close till he pressed his forehead against mine, it was a beautiful moment as both of our hairs turnd damp due to the rain.

That moment ended soon however cause I needed to go.

He opened the umbrella backed up and let me take it.

But before I went he took my hand and kissed my knuckles.

"Good bye."

I then started to walk away.
