Speaking of which Scaramouche and Sucrose each have a hampster. Sucrose's is names Princess (klee named it), and Scara's is named Mesu Inu.

It's unfortunate that some vegans who are morally against meat will, instead of either foregoing pets or choosing an herbivore, choose a carnivore and force an unnatural diet it cannot properly digest, process, or receive the proper nutrients from.

Because, I mean, have you seen guinea pigs?

They're wonderful and vocal companions who can be very affectionate and social, plus they live about 6-8 years. Also? Obligate herbivores (minus occasional cannibalism if things go wrong after a mother gives birth, usually malnourishment). As long as you are patient in getting them used to your presence and touch, they are wonderful little cuddle companions. They snuggle, they purr, and they'll even give you little licks.

They come in all sorts of colors with different patterns and fur styles. These are all either pigs I've had or my sister's family had:

The 1st two are Romeo and Oreo/Double-stuffed (my sister's), 2nd two are Pepperjack and Kolya, and the 3rd two are Baron von Fluffy and Mitya. These are mostly the common American Short-haired guinea pigs, but, Baron was probably a "sheba mini yak" and Mitya was possibly a cross between an Abyssinian and a mini yak? His butt fur got a little long for just being an Abyssinian. For 3lbs furry potatoes, there's so much fur variety!

Yes, their enclosures require frequent cleaning and you should always have at least two at a time, but they have strong personalities and cute behaviors. Plus! If your routine around feeding them involves times you wake up or return from work, they will always greet you (at one point, I unintentionally conditioned my guinea pigs to wheek for treats to the noise of the car alarm "beep beep").

Being Ace's Best Friend Headcanons

* Ace gives off camp counselor vibes, tbh. He'd be so much fun to travel with, especially hiking and camping or exploring a new town! First of all, when camping, he has all the stories you could want! Funny stories, action packed ones, scary ones. He can do shadow puppets! He'll take a bite right out of your snacks though so watch out for that.

* constantly dares you to do stuff like tarzan swing across a river or touch a wild animal. He's all like, "cmon it'll be fun!" He is Luffy's brother after all.

* Shows you how to find different constellations and navigate using the north star ✨🥺

* Asks your opinion during missions and takes is seriously, even if your younger or newer to the crew, he hears you out. "Which path do you think we should take?" "Do you think we can take them?" He wants you to have a voice.

* You two balance each other out. I imagine you probably have a sarcastic and dry sense of humor that contrasts Ace's sincerity and he thinks your hilarious.

* If you get injured he. will. carry. you. on. his. back. if. need. be.

* Best way to describe Ace as a friend-- he's the sort of friend who will split an oreo and give you the cream side 🥺

* Late at night if your awake and find him you sneak into the kitchen (or the fire pit if your camped out) and make late night ramen and theorize about aliens and stuff.

Being Sanji's Best Friend Headcanons

* Seeing as all the straw hats have jobs on the ship I imagine your the "chores/cleaning person" of the ship so you often help Sanji wash dishes and go on grocery trips with him. What does this mean? It means you've played would you rather so much that you've asked every possible question. Grocery trips are a lot of fun though and Sanji tells you a lot about different fish and fruits, etc.

* Sanji gives great advice and he does not get enough credit for it. Personal advice? Great. Dietary advice? Great. Fashion advice? Also great.

* But in all seriousness, Sanji is a great listener. He's not really judgmental either, he's super open minded.

* His secret talent is that he can wrangle trapped soda cans from vending machines. He makes you promise not to tell Luffy.

* He's secretly your biggest cheerleader?? When you become stronger or accomplish a goal or defeat someone he's so proud of you?? But he normally just plays it cool and says smth like "nice one" or pats your head if your younger than him.

* Sanji uses you as his guinea pig for testing new recipes. You love eating tasty food though, so win win.

* You guys definitely play chopsticks when your bored. Sanji just gives off that vibe.

* I can't stop imagining the reader gifting Sanji a Polaroid camera at some point and Sanji then becoming that mom friend who photographs all the straw hats moments? I bet he even keeps them in a notebook? Or am I just projecting?

These three boys are 6 months old and were surrendered alongside Mama Lucky and her babies. I’m not sure if they are her baby daddies or just related- Mama Lucky and these boys all came from a feeder bin together as far as I know.

The mostly solid colored boy is Oreo Crumble and the other two are unnamed yet! They’re staying with me until Saturday then their foster family is picking them up. I have my hands full enough w the babies and my other rodents :) Their foster mom will decide on names.

If you want to help us care for these 16 rats as well as all the hamsters, gerbils, and guinea pigs at Tiny Whiskers Animal Rescue please donate off our chewy wishlist. We could especially use baby rat food, rat enrichment, and guinea pig supplies.

I just saw your post about drawing guinea pigs and was hoping you would draw one of mine! I have multiple so pick whichever! Cute pics of them as well! There are two different red ones but only difference is the eye color and how their spike forms on the top of their head. Meet Rhaenyra (red with red eyes), Rhaena, red with brown eyes. Ash is the black multicolored, Daenerys is white and Sage is half white and brown!

I don‘t actually think I‘ve ever drawn a short haired piggy in this style, but I really wanted to try this little fella! The Oreo coloring on Ash is so adorable!!! (Not that any of your others aren‘t, but I haven‘t seen one like that before)

5 mini rex rabbits (Juno x Oreo) (1 died DOA and 4 sold)

So 22 babies. With adults that is 54.

Coinsidently 54 is my lucky number.

Mostly did this to remember the order and names of my pets. My mind goes hazy sometimes and needed to check my dates for some..

You can say I like my pets

My favourites were Rabbits and Budgierigars. But my asthma doesn't like birds. So it's rabbits all the way!

Ylva - Basically owns a private zoo at this point, she has so many animals. Dogs, cats, rabbits, birds you name it, she probably has it.

Phoenix - Also owns a lot of animals, but she trains animals for tv and movies

Branwen - has a small flock of ravens, and a cat. The ravens are named after the Addams Family and the cat is named Salem

Calamity - she has a seagull named Fripp :)

Lorelei - doesn't have any pets in the traditional sense, but she does take care of the animals that live in her lake

Blake - co-owns Phoenix's animals because they're together <3

Persephone - she has an African bush viper that is basically a glorified house plant

Aida - she has a black and white cat named Oreo

Drew - doesn't have the time for any pets, but if he did it'd be something low maintenance like a ball python

Morgan - her dad is a wildlife rehabber, so they're not pets, but she does spend a lot of time around animals

Hayden - she has a Rottweiler mix puppy named Libby

Max - no pets currently, but I could see him getting a rabbit or guinea pig.

⚔️ [CROSSED SWORDS] -> What is your Original Character's relationship to Dark Core, their Riders, and Garnok in general?

Ylva - Even though they're supposed to be enemies, Ylva kind of pities the Dark Riders. She can't help it, it's just who she is. In another lifetime she feels they could be friends. Thinks Darko is a pathetic wet cat and Mr Sands is a loser, though.

Phoenix - Tries to ignore them mostly, she's tired of the emotional whiplash they give her between flirting and attempted murder.

Branwen - No real feelings either way about them, though she did turn down their offer to recruit her. She did once have a violin battle with Katja though.

Calamity - Was briefly part of Dark Core, but they kicked her out because she was too annoying. She still shows up every now and again because they refuse to update their security. She also broke their portal by accident.

Lorelei - Doesn't like Dark Core, she despises what they're doing to the environment, and is personally responsible for that scar on Sabine's face

Blake - Basically ignores Dark Core.

Persephone - Had a Raptor-esque experience with Dark Core briefly before she broke off their contract and has ignored them since

Aida - Detests Dark Core, the Dark Riders and everything they stand for.

Drew - Blissfully unaware

Morgan - In the same camp as Lorelei, hates how badly they're screwing up the ecosystem with their bullshit

Hayden - Kinda stays out it, she knows they're bad, and she helps the druids and keepers of aideen how she can but she's not a fighter

Max - Blissfully unaware of everything

2. The Pet Store

"[Name]!" Your mother yelled from the kitchen, "Breakfast is ready!", you rushed down and sat at the table, "I made you some pancakes, the maple syrup is in that cabinet" she pointed, usually, your mother makes her pancakes sweet, so you didn't need to get it, "Here," she gave you a plate you got a fork and used it to eat. Your mother sat across from you, you looked up at her very few times during breakfast.

"Do you get lonely when I leave for work?", you nodded, "What if I told you, you don't have to be lonely?" She smiled, "You like animals, right?" You lift an eyebrow, "Yes? But what does this have to do with me being lonely-" then, it hit you, "Wait.. are we getting a pet!" You said with a wide smile. She nodded with a smile as well."Finish eating, then go and get ready for the day," She said getting up to wash her dish in the dishwasher you did the same, then you went to get ready to leave the house, you were excited and thought of what animal you wanted to get, when you got there you were so happy, your mother went with you to help you purchase everything that you needed, to take care of the animal you picked. "What kind of pet were you thinking?", with a smile you gladly said "A bunny, that's what I want", you said proudly.

"Okay, you can choose one, but remember, it's going to be your bunny, understood?", you nodded in response. You looked at all of the bunnies until you found the one that seemed the cutest, "I want that one" you pointed at a black and white bunny. After taking its cage to the cashier, along with two large bags of food for the bunny, and a bed for it to sleep in, "I would've recommended a guinea pig," said the cashier, "I like bunnies a bit more," you said with a light but nervous smile.

"That'll be 72 dollars, debit or credit?", "Debit" she swiped the card, after she paid for the things you took the things to the car. "What are you going to name him?" Your mother said pointing to the bunny in the cage. "Oreo, since he looks like one with his fur colors" you were very excited when you arrived you set up the bed, then made let it roam free in your room, you watched how Oreo was running everywhere exploring his new environment.

You left some old newspaper around his bed. Your mother left just after she dropped you off at the house. I had been two hours since you got Oreo, but he seemed bored, "Oreo, how about we go and walk around for a bit, it'll help us pass the time," the bunny looked over to you, 'Did he just respond to his new name?..', you picked him up and just kept him in your hand for the time being.

—[Name] P.O.V—

When I left the house, I locked everything but kept my house key. I placed Oreo in my pocket until we both went to a little park, "Oreo, do you want to go and see if there are any other animals?" Oreo looked at me again, "I'll take that as a yes" I smiled at him. Walking into the park I didn't see many pets, there was a dog, and a guinea pig, which wasn't a good idea to let the guinea pig be around the dogs, due to sometimes they're reckless nature the dog might hurt it. "I recognize you" a boy said from behind causing me to yell and jolt. "You bought the bunny," I turned back and nodded, "You must be the cashier," he nodded, "My names Craig, and this is my guinea pig, his name is Stripe," you smiled at the guinea pig, "I'm [Name], and this is Oreo! I named him that because of his fur colors", "How 'original'," he looked back at his friends, "Do you maybe want to go and sit with me and my friends?" The boy inquired, I looked at Oreo who looked at me aswell. "Why not?" He led me to a table with his friends, I recognized two, it was Token and Nicole, "Oh, hello" I said with a warm smile.

"Hey [Name]," Nicole and Token said in unison, "everyone was visibly confused. "We bumped into [Name] yesterday, she introduced herself when she was apologizing," Nicole said. She patted the seat next to her. I sat next to her. "So, what are all of your names?" I asked, then looking down at Oreo, just to make sure he wasn't cold. "I'm Clyde, nice to meet you," he smiled, "I-I'm Jimmy, i-it's nice to meet you t-too." he smiled widely, "And I'm Tweek," he twitched. I smiled and then looked at Oreo, "You can take him out of your pocket. No one will mind it anyway," Craig stated. I took Oreo out and put him on the table. "You have a bunny! He's so cute, " Nicole said, "What's his name?", "I named him Oreo, mostly because of his fur colors." "Can I touch him?" She said, I nodded, "He isn't aggressive, trust me I've had him for.. three hours almost!" I said, Nicole put her hand over him, he took a rest, on the table. "You have a phone, right?" She questioned, "Yeah", "Can i put my number in your phone, so we can meet up sometime?"I nodded and handed her my phone.

Soon it was pretty late, "I've got to go, to my house, I need to feed Oreo, and I'm pretty tired." They all understood. "Bye guys!" You waved and ran out of the park.When I arrived home I got some food for Oreo and put it in a bowl, and water in another, I placed them near his bed.
