its just insane to me. the whole situation can be summed up as me telling them theyre scaring me because of how much they joke about hating themselves and them telling me that they 1) never understand anything im saying 2) its MY fault they do that because i embarrass them and make them feel stupid 3) gaslight me into apologizing after making me feel like i did somethong wrong and then i find out a whole bunch of other shit theyve been saying about me and its like yipeeee *clicks my heals together* i shouldve known the moment i was having a psychotic episode and asked you to defend me in public if something were to happen and i got lashed out at for assuming the person wouldn't protect me. ugh

The night felt cold, a delightful chill enveloping their bodies. The wind whispered softly, caressing the rustling leaves. The stars gleamed brilliantly while the full moon illuminated the night, revealing its enchanting beauty, often overlooked in favour of the comforts of slumber.

Two solitary figures sat beneath the night sky, nestled upon a blanket, shielding themselves from the prickly embrace of the grass.

You extended an invitation to Riki, yearning to escape the demands burdening you both and find solace in each other’s company. Amidst the tumultuous affairs plaguing your careers, there was no respite to be found.

You sighed, feeling a shiver run up your spine as a puff of air escaped your mouth.

“Cold?” Riki muttered, glancing at your side profile.

“A bit.”

“C’mere,” he called out, sitting up and leaning against a tree.

You sat up, leaning against his shoulder initially. Then, with a deft motion, he grabbed you by the waist, effortlessly placing you between his legs, eliciting a gasp. Your hands instinctively fell on his arms for balance.

Swiftly, he wrapped the blanket around both of you. “There, much better, isn’t it?”

“Hmm, Riki,” you started, turning your gaze towards him. He responded by tilting his head ever so slightly, acknowledging your summon.

“The moon is beautiful, isn’t it?” you murmured, lifting your eyes to behold its radiance.

Riki’s eyes widened slightly, his silence indicating what you needed to know. His hands cupped your cheeks, a reddish hue evident from the cool weather, or perhaps from him.

“Can I…” His deep voice spoke in a desire-filled whisper, and you found yourself leaning into his touch. Your lips grazed the inside of his wrist.

“Hmm,” you hummed softly, but no words followed.

Your mind swarmed with thoughts. It had been four years since you met, and now, as both idols, the scrutiny from curious and judgmental eyes was inevitable. Yet, despite the potential backlash, you and Riki couldn’t deny the chemistry between you. Afraid of the consequences, you had pushed him away at times, but Riki remained steadfast, always expressing his care for you, even in the face of opposition.

His grip tightened slightly as he slid his fingers into your hair, slowly tugging you closer by your nape. “Please.”

“Kiss me,” you replied softly, leaning in to connect your lips in a kiss.

The world seemed to stop, as the only thing in your mind was him. Warmth spreaded through your bodies, even the cool night began to melt away.

“Riki, wait a minute—” you speak in a hushed tone slightly out of breath, your heart beating erratically.

“Shut up,” he cuts through your words in a quick whisper, cupping both your cheeks and practically yanking you into a kiss once more, this time with more fervor.

The warmth of your lips on his ignited his body on a frigid December night, and despite the potential hate and possible repercussions from his company, Riki wouldn't exchange you for anything in the world.

He'd do that thing where whenever you guys are walking around campus, his arm is always draped on your shoulders just in case if ever the convo is directed at him being the cute one, he'd clamp your mouth and say farewell to whomever you're both talking with

I also see that when you're trying to convince him, he'd squish your cheeks so you're mouth would be puckered as another way to shut you up (may or may not lead to a kiss) He'd look into your eyes and smirk.

Even if he realizes it or is just in plain denial (stubborn ass) He'll slowly just let you go with whatever you're spouting about him cuz honestly he likes it when you debate about it ESPECIALLY if it just so happens to be with Vil. "Yeah Vil, don't you see I'm fuckin AdOraBlE?"

"Eh? Sunshine, you think I'm cute?" Kalim's eyes lit up as he looked at you to which you affirmed with a chuckle. Kalim stood up and ran towards the kitchen. "JAMIL , (Y/N) THINKS I'M CUTE!"

You know, we know, the entirety of NRC knows, he's one golden boi whenever you call him cute or talk about it with others.

Give some moral support to Jamil cuz he's gonna be hearing this everyday from now on. "Hey I know we have this important dorm leader meeting to attend to in a min but (Y/N) called me cute again toda-"

When it comes to people that says otherwise, he's likely to pull you out of it before it drags on. He'd chuckle as he drags you back to Scarabia for some afternoon snacks to distract you~

He's in it for the dramatics both in private or in public so when you compliment him, he'd like put a hand on his chest, go down on one knee and act as if he's part of a play~

SUMMARY: visiting the boys was always great especially when you were able to see your sweet boyfriend. however, what you didn’t expect was for yang jungwon to fall asleep on your lap. maybe it was the jet lag that got him.

with the boys piling into their dorms with their luggages in their hands, you thought it was a great idea to come over and possibly spend quality time with them.

it had been too long since you’ve seen them. especially your dear boyfriend who was busy burying his face at the crook of your neck. the moment he had opened the door with tired and droopy eyes, his face instantly lit up and he threw himself onto you.

“i missed you.” he says.

yang jungwon wasn’t one to really voice out his affection, rather he would show it to you. however, he truly missed you so what better way then to mutter those words out directly.

“ooo look at him being all lovey dovey.” sunoo teases. jungwon groans softly, enough for you to hear.

“okay, enough with the teasing. i’m sure all of you are tired. i brought snacks and maybe we can watch a movie.”

“boring, let’s play games.” ni-ki smirks. the boys playfully shoved ni-ki.

“is that the only thing you care about? we just came back from a world tour and we still have our japanese promotions soon. are you not jet lagged?” jay says. ni-ki pouts.

“i’m sure you’re hungry, babe.” you say. jungwon shakes his head.

“no. i want hug.” you hear the boys snort.

“go on, hug your dear boyfriend.”

“by the way, he keeps mentioning how much he misses you when I bunked in the same room as him.” sunghoon mentions.

“really?” you turned to jungwon. “you missed me a lot, huh?”

“yes, now can i please get a hug or at least a kiss. you haven’t kissed me today, angel.” jungwon huffs.

“oh god. save me from this.” heeseung hurls. you rolled your eyes at the boy. you grabbed jungwon’s hands and pulled him to the living room.

he settles down on the couch before wrapping his arms around your waist and laying on your chest. your hands fall onto his scalp, playing with his hair that was slightly frizzled since he did dye his hair. overall, it was still fluffy in your opinion.

jake decided to settle right next to you and so you fell into a deep convo with him as you played with jungwon’s hair. you could feel jungwon’s weight change and you heard light snores coming from him. to which, you bite down a growing smile because of how adorable jungwon was.

“hey, did jungwon just fell asleep?” jake asks.

“yeah.”

“oh? he just talked about having insomnia and not getting enough sleep while we were in america for tour?” jake mentions.

you looked down at the boy. he was sleeping soundly, only moving slightly to nuzzle his head further onto your chest. you finally let out a smile.

“guess he must’ve been extremely tired.”

“he sleeps like a cat.” jake adds.

“yeah…he does.”

jake won’t shut up about you

even the teachers r like…

“mr sim we know your partner is great but we’re talking about of what stars are made of”

well you are the only star he needs so 🙄

no but mans HATED history

like despised, even

but then you waltzed into his life with this little historical fun facts of yours :”)

like you met because of a mutual friend of yours – jungwon. he was tired of jake whining about how he sucks at history so he decided to introduce him to you and get him to start having tutor lessons

he didn’t listen to you though, he just stared at you and thought he was being slick with it…

but anyways.

he’s so cute ☹️

like when you’re playing some games idk knowledge is power or something similar he’ll anyways choose historical categories so you can answer :(

even though he could pick the science ones and win easily :((

or sometimes when you’re eating lunch with him and his friends and you’re having convos

and you’ll go like “oh speaking of bananas! did you know that in 1928 there was a banana massacre?”

and then you’ll move on with explaining in the tiniest detail all the bloody battles and stuff while they’re all like 😐

except jake because he always finds it so amusing that you even know all this stuff – and he genuinely wants to know

it’s the “listens-talks” dynamic but it works both ways

because sometimes jake will go on about how it happens why water is so extraordinary and you’ll listen as well… but also because of how happy he looks when he’s doing that :”)

and he loves your little historical jokes ☹️ and when you have some that connect to his field of science? he literally has hearts in his eyes.

“who invented fractions?” you’ll ask. jake will pretend to think even though you both know he doesn’t know the answer “henry the 1/4th!”

he will punch anyone who says your jokes are lame. spoiler alert: sunghoon

he also helps you when it comes to studying for exams and such, if you still have scientific subjects – and he’s actually good at that!!

very patient and good with explaining :D
