Been playing through gw2 core story with a good friend of mine who started playing recently and we beat it tonight. There's something really... Emotional about going back and doing the core story after the dragon cycle's ended and you know how things play out. The little foreshadowings... The ways the dragons work that the pact doesn't know about yet... The sheer amount of joy and celebration throughout Tyria after slaying Zhaitan.

It's.

Honestly kindof amazing. And thinkinh about what exactly was happening in cantha during these years is a whole nother can of worms you could get into.

So I finally ran through all of Mount Rokkon and oh lord do I have so many ideas for some new Remia lore (✿◠‿◠) and is the majority of it going to be sad because i'm deathly allergic to fluff? yes, yes it is.

Also fun fact about Remia, her unique magick allows her to peer into the memories of those nearby as well as feel their emotions to a heightened degree in exchange for the loss of the memories pertaining to her own life. But if she's near those who know her, or comes into contact with objects that hold significant value to someone, she can peer into their memories and piece back her own recollection to some degree. The only time she can remember Yotsuyu is when she's holding her mirror—though that's rare since along with their shared memories coming back to a frighteningly vivid degree, she's also haunted by Yotsuyu's afterimage as though she were still alive. And despite knowing she'll never be able to move on so long as she keeps Yotsuyu's mirror, she can't bring herself to part with it either ;-;

oh look, it's me goofing off again in the West

#lou plays #Horizon Forbidden West #few things give me as much joy as going places I'm not supposed to be. not my fault having a flying mount and glider made it easier #I swear it's the biggest thing I miss now whenever I play HZD. being able to just jump off high places and know Aloy will be fine #anyway. it's ya girl dropping in on the Arena fight bc I wanted to know if it was possible. and getting in is a little harder here #but overall difficulty level 4 maybe out of 10 #the dam is at like 2. Zenith island as well once you know the right spot #I'm nowhere near as good at this as folks like Diverdjent but I still know enough to have a fun time #this doesn't quite make up for the weird glitches and bugs or the giant mess in the overall story and the grief they left us with #(and it certainly doesn't make up for excluding PS4 players from the damn DLC) but it's something at least. to waste some time with #finally got done sorting through and naming all the videos I collected since I started playing HFW and I have a headache now #but I thought I'd share this. even if just one person enjoys watching that'll be good enough for me #Youtube
