Age up to 25

You were chilling in the living room, watching How To Train Your Dragon: Race To The Edge on Netflix, when Miguel came into the room and set up his phone on the coffee table, sitting on the floor. You look up from the screen upon hearing footsteps.

"Hey, mi amor." You said, him waving at you. "Whatcha doing?"

"Hey, I'm going live on Insta, what are you doing, darling?" Even after 3 1/2 years together, Miguel still manages to make you blush and have butterflies in your stomach.

"Watching Netflix."

"Alright."

Miguel starts the live and waits for people to join. Once he sees 19k people have joined, Miguel starts looking for questions.

"Does pineapple belong on pizza? Yes." Miguel smiles upon hearing you little giggle.

"Favorite candy? Snickers, right now it's Snickers. Last month I think was Twix." Miguel answers another question.

"What is your favorite show? Honestly, I'm going to have to say....Stranger Things. Stranger Things is such a good show."

"My Favorite Movie? Favorite movie, um.... That's a long list, I don't have a favorite. Probably top 10 favorite, but I don't have a favorite."

"Favorite song to play in the guitar? Oh, right now the one I've been learning the most.... I've been learning a lot like songs in Spanish lately and some rock songs as well.... Carlos Santana, I've been playing a lot of.." Miguel grabs his guitar, strumming a few beats. Another comment catches his attention.

'I love your lashes'

"Thank you, my wife likes to curl them. Even though it hurts, I suffer through it because it makes her happy. You know what they say; happy wife, happy life." Miguel explains, going to answer another question, but your voice from the doorway cuts him off.

"Baby, you hungry? Want anything to eat?"

"Sure, I could eat."

"Alright, Te amo, mi principe!" You shout to him as you walk away, blowing him a kiss. Miguel pretends to catch it with his hand, placing it over his heart. (I love you, my prince!)

"Te amo más, princesa!" Miguel shouts back, looking back at the comments. (I love you more, princess)

'You have a wife?'

'Who is that?'

Miguel laughs, smiling at the thought of his wife. "That was Y/N, my wife. We have been dating since I was 16 and she was 17. We got engaged at 19 and 20. And we got married a couple months later. We have been married for about 4-5 years."

'What is she like?'

'Tell us about your wife'

"Her name is Y/N. She is the most amazing, kind-hearted person I have ever met. I would do anything for her. She's thoughtful, beautiful, generous, and selfless. I absolutely adore her. All I want to do is spend my days being with her, laughing with her and adoring her. I love her with my whole heart and soul. I love her to the moon and back, for infinity." Miguel expresses his love, smiling at the comments.

'Aww, he loves her!'

'You can see stars in his eyes just at the thought of his wife.'

Miguel opens his mouth to speak, but he is interrupted by a sniffle on the other side of the room. He turns around to see his wife, crying.

"Aww, nena, what's wrong?"

"That was so beautiful."

Miguel smiles and motions for you to sit on his lap. You cross the room, adjusting yourself on your husband's lap, arms around his neck. He places his arms around your waist.

'Aww, she's beautiful.'

'Stunning couple.'

You and Miguel smile, leaning in to kiss. You feel him smile into the kiss, pulling away.

"I love you, mi amor." You whisper in his ear, slightly nibbling on his ear lobe. He feels chills go down his spine.

"I love you, princesa." He says, pecking her cheek.

'Aww."

'His cheeks went red.'

hello hi I'm totally normal about miles and miguel's theoretical mixed playlists

I'm rolling in hot with 2 things:

first, i love to imagine that their combined playlist has odd matches, but that it adds variety to the car ride mood. it's got classics like shout by tears for fears, you spin me round (like a record) by dead or alive, another one bites the dust by queen, gimme! gimme! gimme! by abba, and ballroom blitz by sweet. the last one is a self-aware hilarious choice made by miles in referencing miguel himself AND the spider-chase on him. like, for real listen to it and read the lyrics, it's so ATSV chase scene

(miles also feels that miguel has glam rock taste and he's neither wrong nor right, but a secret third thing)

AND also! there's some spanish classics mixed in there! like oye como va by santana, some unexpected rock like muñeco de trapo by oreja de van gogh, and some that are high-energy and ALMOST too dangerous to be driving with, like buleria by david bisbal. miguel&miles scream that one out together with the windows down 🗣️🗣️

(for my own indulgence, they listen to like you by daddy yankee, a forgotten Spanglish classic that they both actually know)

second, miguel's likes are a Disaster beyond saving. man's got 16k songs in there. not even lyla can't salvage that, and she has performed miracles of technology before. "how do you have 16 thousand songs liked? did you hit heart on every song you've ever listened to?? how long do you spend scrolling??" he's got everything from Erik Satie to Taylor Swift to Juan Luis Guerra to elevator music in those likes. they don't make sense

and miguel's only response is like 🧍"i was in my depressed era" (he still is).

miles' contribution with the 'pass the aux cord for the love of god' playlist is the only thing saving miguel's musical taste

anyway, i should be writing huh :)

Wardlow's POV:

Security was now rushing the stage towards him. Sammy opened his mouth but the mic was cut off thankfully.

But this all became too much for YN. I saw her bend over and cry. Her hands were gripping on to the chair that she was next too.

I rushed to her side and looked down. There was liquid between her thighs and going down her leg onto the floor.

And mixed with that liquid was blood.

"No, no,no." YN said as she had tears streaming down her face.

"Come on baby girl. It will be okay. We just got to get you to the hospital. Everything will be okay." I said to her in a calming voice. Trying to hide the fact how scared I was.

YN bent over once more and cried out again. "It hurts Michael." I looked into her eyes and I knew what I had to do.

I gently picked her up and cradled her in my arms, like I have done so many times before.

I walked as quickly as I could out of the building, with our friends close behind us. Ronnie was already at the doors with the car, ready to take us to the nearest hospital.

Fourteen hours of labour. Fourteen hours of YN bringing our children into the world. I barely left her side. I made sure she got every single thing she needed and wanted.

I held her hand and rubbed her back with every single contraction.

Do I feel like she may have broken something in my hand? Oh fuck yes.

Did I dare say anything? No, not at all.

But hearing her wince and scream in pain made me absolutely lose my mind as I wanted to take her pain away and I couldn't.

When YN was asked if she wanted an epidural, she quickly agreed to it. She already told me she was going to use one if she could.

I gently pushed back her hair as she laid on her side to get the epidural.

After that, it wasn't much longer until it was time.

This whole part was almost like a blur to me. My main focus was YN and only YN. Praising her and letting her know how much I love her.

The first cry came and it was announced it was a girl. I had tears in my eyes when I heard the cries of my little girl.

Almost eight minutes later, the cries of our son was heard.

The both of them were laid on her chest to get that skin-to-skin contact and even though they were not cleaned up yet, they were perfect.

"We did it Michael." YN said as she looked up at me with a watery smile.

"No, you did it baby. You brought them into the world and they are just beautiful, like their Momma."

YN was sleeping and I was sitting next to her bed, looking down at our two babies. They are just perfect to me.

I kissed our daughter's forehead, muttering about how much I love her.

I did the same for our son. As I sat there, I started to wonder who they would look like as they got older, or if they will be a good mix.

I was so lost in my own world, I didn't even realise that YN was looking at us. I jumped slightly when she whispered my name.

"Hey beautiful." I softly said to her.

"Hey handsome. Have you got any sleep?" I shook my head no. A concerned look came over her tired face.

"I am perfectly fine. I will get some sleep soon. I just wanted to spend some time with them." I told her.

I stood up, with both of them in my arms still and leaned down do YN could take a child out of my arms.

I was going to speak again when the door open and it was my Mom and my sisters.

YN's POV:

"Can we come in?" His Mom asked. He looked at me asking if it was okay and I nodded my head yes.

The three of them came rushing into the room. His sisters to him first, congratulating him and his mom came to me.

She looked down at her grandchild that was in my arms quickly and then looked at my face. She cupped my cheek with her hand. "You did amazing sweetie. I am so proud of you." And she kissed my cheek gently.

His sisters came to me and his mom to him and they too congratulated me. "Now what names did you pick?" We were asked.

"Well this little girl I am holding is Autumn Rose." Michael said.

"And this little one is Austin Michael." I said as I looked down at my son.

The three of them gushed over the names and I looked at the small family that has taken me in with open arms and made me feel like I belong.

The Wardlow family has always been accepting of me ever since the moment I first met them.

A concerned neighbour who just got off of work found me and called the cops. The cops showed up at my house and found the house trashed with empty bottles and empty cans of beer.

I was taken away that night and my Grandparents were called. They tried to get my parents help, but they didn't want any help.

And that was the secret that Sammy was going to tell everyone. He was probably going to let other secrets slip but thankfully that didn't happen.

I was pulled away from my own thoughts when my name was called. I asked them to repeat the question.
