Can we please destigmatize construction work/ physical labour type jobs. I am not saying any of you trivialize these professions in fact most of yous guys probably support and love the proletariat!

But I am so so so tired of hearing people out in public saying stuff like stay in school or you'll end up digging ditches or cleaning gutters.

As someone who has cleaned gutters and dug ditches, that is the hardest a human body can work besides like giving birth imo.

So no that maintenance man might not be the most glamorous job, but it is an important job a neccessary job. And I am fuxking sick and tired of all rhe hate that labourers get just because we are getting crushed by the capitalism machine doesn't mean tou can belittle or talk down on people because they work outside. Or as sweaty or perceived to be under educated

They deserve freedom, happiness and money as much as the next worker. And they deserve a million times more than executives, board of directors,and share holders.

I'm tired I am upset I am very angry and I would like to be respected sorry

I was always enraged at the way capitalism has devalued some of the most important labour in human history, but now I'm even more angry since I have started getting more into crafts.

So many people are alienated from the world to such an extent they don't realize how fucking important textiles and construction and art and culinary labour is, because its all ubiquitous under capitalism: it is all profit, and if it isn't profit, then it is worthless. People don't realize just how revolutionary all of the labour was, how important it is, and was, to our survival. And that enrages me.

The execution of Nex Benedict by classmates in their school bathroom is an example in the long line of transphobic violence in this country, and is emblematic of a genocidal movement to eradicate transgender and non binary people from America. This violence was excused by school faculty, including the callous refusal to allow Benedict's injury to be treated properly in a hospital. This was following a bill requiring trans and nonbinary students to use the bathroom associated with the gender they were assigned at birth. Despite using the bathroom associated with the gender assigned to Benedict at birth, they were still murdered by transphobic classmates, punished by school authorities for being assaulted, and refused access to adequate healthcare after the event. This is unacceptable, and the sytem that produced this and many more tragic incidents like this must be resisted strenuously by all trans and nonbinary folks, as well as anyone who considers themselves supporters of queer, trans, and nonbinary liberation.
