It is a piece that flows effortlessly from one story into the next, never really taking a moment to breathe. Hey man I just needed to put this out there fully bc I’ve incredibly briefly talked about this and now I need to make it into headcanons.

FEATURES SPOILERS FOR JJBA BELOW THE KEEP READING LINE

So you introduce him to the first part of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure (Phantom Blood) because you’ve been wanting him to watch it for a while now due to all the music references in the anime and manga

Obviously this man is willing to try new shows and stuff that you’re interested in at least once so that he can get to know what you like better and maybe even gain a new interest

And you’ve of course told him vaguely that there are music references in the franchise, but not what the references are so he’s intrigued

And then it happens

Dio Brando is introduced

It takes a moment for the name to actually register in Eddie’s brain

And then he’s like “holy shit wait they said Dio!”

And he then knows what you meant by musical references and makes an effort to try and keep track of all the music references

Obviously Dio is his favourite music reference in Phantom Blood, although he does also appreciate REO Speedwagon being an important part of Phantom Blood as well as Battle Tendency

Eisidisi (AC/DC) has him confused at first because they don’t say it as AC/DC so you have to explain to him the changes they make in the dub and subtitles to avoid copyright issues

Dio ends up becoming his favourite Jojo villain when he returns in Stardust Crusaders

Not just because of the band reference but because he finds Dio to make a great villain

He yells when they kill off Avdol for real at the end of that part of the franchise

“C’mon, man! Wasn’t killing him off once enough? I call bullshit!”

Diamond Is Unbreakable’s main villain of Kira becomes another firm favourite of Eddie’s

Some of the localised Stand Names are kinda funny to him, especially if he’s high

Green Tea instead of Green Day really makes him laugh as well as Spicy Lady instead of Spice Girl

Once he’s watched all of the anime that’s available, you show him the manga of what hasn’t been animated and released yet

He fucking loses it when you tell him Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap becomes Filthy Acts At A Reasonable Price (as he should because that localisation is hilarious imo)

He starts singing Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap but instead of singing those words he replaces them with Filthy Acts At A Reasonable Price and it’s absolute chaos

Especially when he gets the guitar out and plays along as he sings it

In terms of his favourite Jojo, I think he’d either be a Jotaro, Joseph, or Jolyne kind of guy

I guarantee you he would be getting you both to do a couple’s cosplay of Jojo characters for Halloween. I’m thinking Joseph and Suzie Q or Jospeh and Caesar Zeppeli

Background:

Lunas parents are both from the Chicago area. Brian worked in finance. He comes from a wealthy family, that’s very strict, and technically he didn’t need this job, but he didn’t want to be like all the other rich people who lived of off their trust fund. He wanted to earn his money.

The day he met Grace, they were both on their lunch break. Grace spilled her coffee on Brian’s shirt and felt so embarrassed. She wanted to pay for dry cleaning, but Brian wouldn’t hear it. Later on they kept talking for what seemed like hours. They promised to see each other again on the next day. They met every day for coffee until Brian had the courage to ask her out. They dated for a while before they became official.

Sadly Brian’s parents didn’t approve of his love with Grace, and they made him choose. Grace wanted to break things off. She didn’t want to be the cause of a rift between his parents. But Brian chose Grace and that’s the last day he spoke to his parents. They disowned him afterwards.

With some savings they both decided they wanted to make a fresh start. Grace quit her job as an English teacher and Brian quit his job in finance. They packed their belongings and moved to Honolulu, Hawaii. Where Brian opened up his flower shop called ”Orchid‘s Paradise“. He always had a knack for flowers.

While Grace works as an English teacher at a local high school. She’s very happy with the life she has with her husband and her miracle Luna.

Background about Luna:

Luna struggles with anxiety and can’t handle large crowds. She’s had help from her family, but also from her therapist. She goes there from time to time. Not as often as she did before she met Bryce.

Art is like therapy for her. That’s why she likes to paint or create to help her relax. Because some days are harder than others.

She quit her job in Boston, because she was bullied by her boss. She didn’t feel good to work in a toxic work environment like that. Bryce wasn’t really happy in Boston either. They both missed home. So they moved back to Honolulu, Hawaii 🌺 Keiki went with them.

More Helping Love Klance fanfic info - Lance's family

Lance is the stepson of Maria McClain and the stepbrother of four children. Luis (The oldest/asshole), Marco (Second oldest), Veronica (The third oldest/Brought back to life lady) and Rachel (The youngest). Yjok is the McClain children Stepfather and Lance's half-father, the McClain family is kinda complicated.

Luis is the Nadia and Sylvio's father and Lance's stepbrother however due to him purposely losing control while Lance was in heat twice, he ended up making Lance bear his kids when his wife Angela- an infertile Beta- couldn't. He is an Alpha however he is boastful, a scumbag cheater and Lance's main rapist. He is also a neglectful father and doesn't pay his only two children (Nadia and Sylvio) attention so after years of neglect, they now only accept Keith as their father and refuse to talk to Luis.

Marco is Luis's younger brother and is also an Alpha with a Beta husband named Alex, a light brown skinned green eyes male who is a home designer. He hates his stepfather (Human name he took was Jospeh but his real name was Yjok) and moved out four months after he was introduced to both Yjok and Lance, he visited in very spanned months to check on his sisters and little brother but after Lance was pronounced dead by the Garrison, he stopped going to the house altogether and Rachel brought the kids to his house where he lived with Alex. He hates his mother, greatly dislikes his stepfather and is ignoring his relation to his older brother completely. He is Nadia and Sylvio's uncle. He was one of the only people to hold his niece and nephew when they were born.

Veronica is Marco and Luis's younger sister however when Lance was 13 and she was 17, Yjok stabbed her three times and left to rot in the woods after she learned what was going on behind her back at home to Lance. Without knowing it, Lance channeled his Quintessence into Veronica and managed to revive her back to life. She later went to space and spent 18 months as a capture of the Galra and later rescued by Rebels with Mathew Holt and later met with Adam Wyatt and the three stayed together all looking for people they miss and love while fighting in the war. She hates Luis and has disowned him as her brother, cut all contact with her mother and later learns she's an aunt of Nadia and Sylvio. Also, she has a huge grudge against Yjok since he is her killer and Lance's kidnapper. She practically raised Lance when her mother refused to acknowledge his existence. She is a Beta.

Rachel is Marco, Luis's and Veronica's younger sister and Lance's second oldest sister. She was one of the only people to hold Sylvio and Nadia when Lance became pregnant by her stupid older brother, she hates Luis, hates her mother, and wants Yjok dead, and she doesn't give two shits on how he dies she just wants him dead. She's also shown to be a good fighter and sassy comebacks, she's also very protective of Lance and is one who treated his injuries when Yjok and Luis hurt him to the point he couldn't move for days. She is an Omega.

Yjok is Lance's half-father and Melenor's rapist. When Lance was still a newborn in his mother's stomach, he assaulted her and when Lance was five on a family vacation with the old Paladins and his family, he snuck into where he was and drugged him with a Quintessence induced pill to block his memories that Lotor found a way to unblock those memories by ordering Acxa to put something in his drink after he was kidnapped. Yjok was also greatly disliked by the Alteans and Allura suggested that he was poisoned by Quintessence to explain his long impossible life however he's just a sadistic man who wasn't poisoned just had an extreme twisted mind. He's been able rape Lance at least once in his childhood but most of his attempts were either forced to a complete stop when Veronica returned home, or Rachel hid Lance by distracting Yjok for her brother to be able to make his escape. Keith later ends him. He is an Alpha.

Maria is Lance's stepmother however, she neglects Lance and also abusive to her grandchildren, she doesn't stop Angela from putting her hands on them nor does she tell Luis to stop his assaults on Lance. Either this was a change by Yjok or this was just who she really was. It's unknown however she wasn't married to Yjok it's just manipulation keeping her and Yjok together, that is also unknown with answers none of Lance's siblings who he's on good terms with can figure out. Three of her children want absolutely nothing to with her anymore because of who she is now, and she doesn't seem to care much either. She is a Beta.

Alfor is Lance's true father, and he highly misses the days where his family was complete as a whole. His son helped him learn things but also helped Alteans explore more about Quintessence while being cautious of its energies. When Lance was kidnapped and his wife assaulted, he became a close wary and extremely cautious man, heartbroken by the disappearance of his son, the death of his wife a few weeks after their son vanished and placed his remaining child and his advisor in a Pod so that they survive. Allura and Lance later are forced to destroy his core memories in order to survive a virus implanted by a Galra crystal that corrupted the system, Lance at the time not realizing that he was able to see his true father because his memories were blocked by Corrupted Quintessence. He is the grandfather of four children and father-in-law of Keith. He is an Alpha.

Melenor is Lance's mother, he inherited her kind natured personality but looks much like his father except the eyes. She was assaulted by Yjok and was terrified for many months after that assault and devastated when her youngest was taken, she is the grandmother of four children and the mother-in-law of Keith. She passed a week after Lance was kidnapped and the war progressed dangerously after that. She is an Omega like her son.

Zarkon and Honerva are unfortunately apart of Lance's family because of one thing. Cole. He is the son of Lotor and Lance however, Cole wants nothing to do with his father and only accepts Keith as his father. Because Lance and Lotor weren't married but however had a child together ushered the relation of the corrupted couple to become connected to Lance. Lance doesn't remember much of the kind Honerva and Zarkon however, Zarkon and his wife both knew Lance to be the missing prince and the heart of Voltron resulting in Zarkon's hunt for him remembering what his disappearance caused disturbance in the Voltron lions. Zarkon is an Alpha and Honerva a Beta. Lotor is Also an Alpha.

Allura is Lance's older sister, at the time they don't know they've been reunited because of Lance's blocked memories and Allura's clueless on Lance's whereabouts. She later fixes Honerva's mistakes after she tried to find the perfect reality where she could be with her family and unfortunately had to leave Lance and her new family by sacrificing her life. Many years later somewhat in the prologue she's given a second chance at life and is again reunited with her brother and family. She is a Beta.

(IMPORTANT DETAIL) Lance is also the new Guardian of Oriande after the white lion was unfortunately killed in Honerva's takeover of the hidden realm of the white hole. When he passes, he always said he'd become a lion and protect that beautiful world he was able to see.

Keith is Lance's mate and the father of Mela and the stepfather of Sylvio, Nadia and Cole. He later killed Yjok and resulted in his reign over terrorizing Lance to end. He's half-Galra and Human and bonds with his son Cole over their half Galra heritage, he has a blue diamond on the back of his neck representing Lance and he has a red diamond on the back of his own neck to represent Keith and show that they are mates. His is a proud father, husband and king with Lance by his side and never regrets loving his beautiful mate and plans on spending every moment with him until death.

3. Sleeping Headcanon:

-Weirdly consistent sleep schedule he's had for the past 20 years or so. Always starts getting tired at 10pm and can never sleep past 9am even if he wanted to. Always, always wakes up around 3 am to pee, it's just how his biological clock works and it annoys him. Snores like a motherfucker. Has a kink in his shoulder due to the way he sleeps on his side, but its the only position he can fall asleep in.

6. Hugging Headcanon:

-man is so chill with physical contact. Hugging is a little more rare than the ever present hand-on-the-shoulder, but he hugs people spontaneously. Hugs are always slightly too tight and "mannish" (don't know how else to phrase it.)

7. Kissing Headcanon:

-Lips are strikingly well kept and pleasant. Always gives suzi a kiss on the temple when he walks by her. Gave holly kisses when she was a kid but not jotaro cause he thought it was weird.

Jotaro:

3. Sleeping Headcanon:

-very light sleeper. Inconsistent sleep schedule and biological clock, will wake up whenever and be unable to fall back alseep. has frequent stress dreams. Grinds his teeth in his sleep.

6. Hugging Headcanon:

-hasn't given holly a proper hug in a year, has only done that one armed side hug at most. Used to hug people all the time as a little kid, very friendly with other children back then.

7. Kissing Headcanon:

-Occasionally gives holly a forehead kiss if she pesters him enough. Had his "first kiss" when he was in elementary school (doesn't really count but still). Once almost threw a girl down the stairs when she tried to kiss him in the hallway but she just thought it was cool.

Kakyoin:

3. Sleeping Headcanon:

-Doesn't understand people who don't wear pajamas/pajama sets. Will literally die before he sleeps in the nude. Doesn't drool when he sleeps but drools a lot if he's taking a nap. Hates sleeping near other people, he finds the noise and presence uncomfortable.

6. Hugging Headcanon:

-Doesn't initiate hugs but will not refuse one if offered. Tried to hug hierophant green a lot as a kid and didn't understand why it didn't work. Very reliant on his mother's hugs for physical contact.

7. Kissing Headcanon:

-Has never kissed anyone except his mother before. Perfectly fine with kissing family on the mouth, doesn't get why other people think its weird. His lips are super thin, kinda worried it might make his first romantic kiss weird. Has practiced kissing in the mirror and kissing his hand before.

Polnareff:

3. Sleeping Headcanon:

-Has sinus problems that wake him up in the night. Snores irregularly, either very quietly or very loudly. Can literally sleep all day as long as the room doesn't get bright, if he gets blackout curtains he'll never wake up. Sprawls out a lot in his sleep. bounces and shakes his leg when he's trying to fall asleep but isn't tired enough.

6. Hugging Headcanon:

-Always tries to flex on people smaller than him by picking them up during hugs. Always does that back pat thing before he lets go. Will probably still linger physically after a hug, like a hand on the hack or an arm around the shoulder.

7. Kissing Headcanon:

-Claims he is a master, average at best. Lips are nice but get kinda chapped easily. Too quick to use tongue, calm the hell down son. Frequently tries to greet women by kissing their hands and gets punched a lot as a result. Used to kiss posters he had hung up in his room as a young teenager.

Avdol:

3. Sleeping Headcanon:

-Very big fan of white noise when he sleeps, will usually leave a window open just to hear the bugs or city outside. Needs to hold something in his sleep. Tries to have a nightly routine but often forgets.

6. Hugging Headcanon:

-only hugs close friends or family, very weary with that kind of contact from just casual acquaintances. Very nice and gentle hugs with family, way to tight and obnoxious with friends. He and Jospeh borderline strangle each other when they hug.

7. Kissing Headcanon:

-His favorite form of intimacy, literally daydreams about it all the time. Hard for kisses to stay sensual, gets excited and playful too fast. Will blow raspberries on someones cheek and kill the mood but he thinks its funny.

Idaho Vandals sign #25 ranked recruiting class following Dyansty Year #2

Following a season in which they finished #4 in the final BCS Rankings and played in the National Championship Game, the Idaho Vandals have announced their recruiting class for the end of Dynasty Year #2 / Start of Dynasty Year #3.

According to 24/7 Sports - the Vandals class ranks 25th best in the nation, after mustering just the 104th best class after Year #1 of the Dynasty.

Obviously the name that jumps off the page in this class is QB, Akim Mills. In the 24/7 Sports rankings, he was the #5 rated quarterback in this class and should step-in to be the starter on day one of his college career after Matt Linehan has graduated.

Coach Idaho Coach spoke with the media on a conference call at the end of National Signing Day.

"We are so excited about this recruiting class, not only did we sign 19 great football players, but 19 young men that are going to be wonderful additions to our university campus. I think the flashiest commitment we got this year will likely be Akim Mills at quarterback. We have been on Akim since I was hired here, and have maintained a relationship with him that made us and him comfortable about what we are trying to build here. We think he can be successful as a freshman, but he won't just be handed the starting job, we have a strong quarterbacks room, so he'll have to earn that spot.

I'm really glad that we got a handful of in-state kids. As we elevate the status of our program, we don't want to leave our home state kids behind. I've seen that with another program down South of here, and it started to bite them in the back side. As long as I am here, we will continue to recruit players from the state of Idaho, not just to pander to our alumni, but because this state produces great football players.

We can't wait for spring ball to get started. A few of our commits will be graduating early and joining us for that, including Akim Mills. We're fired up and ready to start our third season here in Moscow.

Things in the OVAs that make me go brrrr:

• The entire Justice fight (it was amazing)

• Enya using Justice for eternal hotness

• the very heartfelt Avpol hug

• the way Kakyoin’s earrings defy the laws of physics

• Jotaro’s and Kakyoin’s introduction fight

• Kakyoin in general

• the way Iggy is drawn

• Iggy’s shit-eating grin

• Polnareff’s earrings not being hearts but ‘half hearted attempts’ which just makes them look like broken apples

• Avdol and Polnareff communicating through gestures and it being transcribed into subtitles

• Avdol generally being such a badass with his flames. They really made his fire look extra great

• Polnareff just not having a fleshbud and just turning from evil to baby in a second

• Kakyoin going sth like “not this guy” when they meet Pol, implying that they met

• and entire episode being named after and dedicated to Kakyoin

• Them all crying in the last scene. Yes, even Jotaro

• Joseph wearing a bandage over his shirt?

• Star Platinums long, luscious hair

• Star Platinums voice breaking while Ora-ing

• Jotaro dreaming about Phantom Blood like a true shounen jump protagonist

• the colour palette desperately trying to turn it down with earthy tones

• Polnareff & Joseph being blonde for some reason. It’s amusing

• Silver Chariot with golden accents

• Hierophant Green rocking this colour palette

• the way the English pronunciation is slightly better but it’s just not as fulfilling as hearing a good ol’ “EMURALDO SPULASHO” and similar

• Attempts to make Dio less of a slut in design but still showing him in THAT pose every episode plus his tight leather tank top

• N’Doul mentioning the other gods of prosperity but they just skip over that, except for D’Arby, elder. Not D’Arby, younger though. We ain’t got no time for video games.

• Jotaro’s magenta tank top and matching hat

• Jotaro’s wavy hair

• Avdol dying in one episode and immediately returning in the next, because we are on a budget

• the Egypt arc being the first to air and them changing the art style when animating the other half

• managing to make Jotaro look even less like a 17 year old and more like approaching 40

• Suzi Q’s hair being even fluffier

• there is a shot where, two times in two different fonts, “Gay Lord” is written as a restaurant sign. And I know it’s a surname but I wheezed

• Jotaro’s MASSIVE neck. If Dio had actually gotten to attempt to sever this GINORMOUS TREE STUMP OF A NECK he wouldn’t have succeeded

• Edit: THEY ALSO TOSSED DIO BACK INTO THE OCEAN INSTEAD OF LETTING HIM DISSOLVE IN THE SUN. BECAUSE THAT WORKED OUT SO WELL LAST TIME ????

Just thinking bout a modern Yandere Jostar family harem

Jotaro Kujo. Cold calculating Marine Biology professor whose looks belonged in a magazine. Divorced, with one kid, 19-year-old Joylene Kujo is currently living with her two idiotic friends but makes time to take out with her pops every now and again. Enrolled in college but usually spends her free time with her friends, the closest being you, a kind, warm, witty young woman he’d grown fond of over the years. Josuke Higashkata was in your advanced literature class and had nearly failed each semester. The only reason he hasn’t was your generous tutoring sessions, he considered these date nights, and truth be told, he’d bullied his way into this boring class just for the extra hour with you, once he realized failing was just more time with you he was a done deal, he could toe the line well, so well no one saw through the act. Didn’t need to follow you because he was most likely with you and if he wasn’t near you the tracking app hidden on your phone eases his worries immensely. People think your dating and that’s just how he liked it, try not to correct them in front of him as you’ll certainly assure the beating of whichever idiot thought it smart to ask you, clearly you were shy and didn’t want to discuss your love with the everyday assholes of your campus, couldn’t this nosey fuck read the room? His dark glare would be gone by the time you looked over replaced by his usual casual smile, master manipulator and dangerously delusional. No need to watch your back, he already is.

Joseph Jostar is Josuke’s estranged father, certified dilf through and through, recently divorced, shook up the entire family with his sudden departure from his long time partner Susie. No one knew he was making room for you. Met you in a cute little coffee shop and the short, but genuine, conversation you shared had made him feel 30 years younger, that dangerous combo of quick wit and that gorgeous face of yours had him all but trailing after you like a puppy, genuinely tempted to follow you, the warmth you left bubbling in his chest seemed to leave with you, and as smart as he was, Jospeh was a simple man at his core, when he wants something he gets it.
