what kind of dates would wukong have?

i don't think wukong is the type to bring you to restaurants! he thinks that whatever they can offer won't be even half as good as what he can make with his own hands. like

"what does that even mean, five-star food? mine's worth more than five stars!" he says, puffing up his chest.

so he's definitely the type to take you to flower fruit mountain or even use his connections with divine beings (that are literally too scared to say no to him HAHAHA) to take you to other places!

"wukong, what is this place?" you ask, walking next to him and looking up in awe. "ohhh, you know," he laughs nervously, a hand coming up to scratch the back of his head. "it's ruled over by a friend of a friend of a..." "wukong..." you call him sternly, turning away from the view and crossing your arms to him. "wha-at, i didn't do anything!" he grins. you squint your eyes and give him a sided smile. "sure, so you're going to have no problem calling the god of this mountain and saying thank you to them."

he's a monkey, so he's not super smart on like cooking food like meat. considering most of what he eats are fruits in the mountain, the food he brings on picnic dates are fruits! though, you bring your own fruits and some other stuff you think wukong should taste

speaking Of picnic dates, i think those are his favorite! he likes it when you two just sit down somewhere on the mountain with a beautiful view, sitting on a fabric or some cloth (he stole previously in his younger years)

i think his next favorite kind of date would be taking a walk around the mountain. he doesn't involve himself too much with human society, evident from how he presented himself and acted during season 3 when the group had to get the third ring

he likes just being with you in general, so he's cheeky and sometimes would say that whenever he's with you, that "we're on a date" just to get you to laugh and say "no we're not" and he'd go "whattt? i could've sworn we were-"

if he did have to go through human society for a date with you, he'd have to put on a disguise like the same disguise he put on in lantern city! so you don't really see the handsome monkey king in his full glory booooo
