and again, it's not even that i would want only one of them. like in both of the relationships, the two love each other too much to the point it'd feel wrong if they were separated! it wouldn't feel complete, so you gotta be with both of them!
but that's the thing; i just?? i feel so incredibly guilty whenever i think about being loved by these mxtx couples??? like it's so stupid but i feel like i'm intruding in on something and it's like, everyone else seems to just want them together only, not wanna be with them. like it's fuckin taboo or whatever

in terms of the audios? yeesh... um- haha- the creator of those audios blocked me on discord out of nowhere, which was highly rude, sending mass paragraphs of nomad/christian bullshit, (i have nothing against those in religion but the way she did so was awful.) almost ruining kia for me, as well as wouldn't let me say my peace on the conversation (essentially ended our friendship in the worst way possible without letting my partner and i speak on it). she deleted every social media account she had, let alone blocked me on everything which absolutely shattered my heart as i don't know if ive done something wrong or not. and just up and dipped with out a trace. so unfortunately you don't find those audios anymore. thankfully i have saved them personally (like hell are you deleting that shit. i paid over 100 USD worth of commission work. i also am terrified to commission anyone else now because of what she's said and done.) so as far as i'm aware, i'm the last person with any known copy of them. i do not know if i have the right to repost them, even with credit? and even then because of all this, they're unfortunately uncannon and scrapped from the storyline. which is highly upsetting. they've kinda shattered my love for teacup and i don't use him much anymore. as he himself as a character was used in awful was during that conversation. hence why you don't see much of teacup tails anymore. i cant bring myself to listen to the audios with out being violently sick from heartbreak. my partner and i are slowly trying to rebuild its story as we speak.
i apologize to any teacup tales fans for the hiatus on the content. until i can safely feel like i can use him again, content of him is gonna be heavily scarce. i might post some soon? i don't know for sure. however im VERY grateful for those fans who came for the wonder folk but have stayed for the transition of kia. you guys mean a great deal to me <3

Not to be Madam Fearmonger about it but on top of the usual sunblock tips (sunscreen on your scalp, eyelids, back of your ears & beck, wear a hat, etc), if you know you're prone to moles/beauty marks & EVER develop new ones ANYWHERE, or tbh even if you're not sure (ex found out a few years ago I have a mole on the back of one ear, to this day I have NO idea how long I've had it, whether it's lifelong or sth that just showed up one day)... you NEED to get screened and/or biopsied by a doctor.
And this includes spots on your fingernails, toenails, palms, and soles of feet!
It's very COMMON for melanomas to be localized & primarily develop at the site of carcinogenic sun exposure, but your skin covers your whole body... you can be poisoned & scorched primarily on your arms, farmer's tan style, you can even have your main exposures be in full or partial shade, while fully clothed, and still have the first tumor show up on your ass or in the back of your knee bc cellular reproduction for the WHOLE SKIN, as an organ, has been altered.
Especially with climate change, a harsh start to this year's hurricane season, and high as hell oil (and by extension, electricity) prices, there's going to be a lot of people personally or regionally without (or with insufficient) power and/or air conditioning this year, and that means folks are going to be outside + have windows open more, even if only to get a cross-breeze in their homes or to not slow roast during power outages, and you HAVE TO be on the lookout for things that you might think, "oh, only white people burn," "I'm in NYC not TX hahaha," and consider it not your problem... because it's about to be EVERYBODY'S problem in a VERY real way whether you're ready for that or not. And there's no sense in letting cancer be another factor sneaking up on you when paying attention & doing self-screenings + preventive care can be your ticket to early detection & easier treatment.

Let Sleeping Bears Lie
Madeline had been gone for a while...did something happen to her?
She probably just got distracted. It was like her to take off the second they got to the campsite- leaving Ruya alone to actually set up the camp. They sighed, while the help would've been appreciated...a trip out to the National Park was something she wanted for the longest time. Nature photography was her thing...now that the camp was set up, now was a good time to look for her. She said she was taking the easternmost trail...
Ruya picked up their bag and hit the trail, helpfully marked for visitors. The parks were certainly beautiful, but they didn't doubt there were dangers here. They had read up on them beforehand- landslides, getting stranded, wild animal attacks...this park had a notable "attraction" they were worried about. Ashford, some kind of man-bear thing notorious for charming visitors out of their food...they wouldn't be surprised if he also charmed visitors into being food, too. Can't ever trust a bear...
Hopefully Madeline was just taking pictures of a creek or something. Ruya crossed over one that cut through the trail, when a deep rumbling sound caught their attention. They weren't near any cliffs so it couldn't be a rockslide, and it couldn't be an earthquake...it sounded much more like someone snoring. Could there be people camping off the trails? They moved to investigate, hopefully one of them had seen Madeline! It's only been about an hour, these people were likely already here...
The direction the sound was coming from led Ruya to a glade, but there wasn't a camp here. Lying asleep in a sunbeam was a huge, furry brown beartaur, rolled over onto his back and snoring deeply. His stomach on his human half looked VERY full, wriggling and squirming with clearly lively prey. Nearby on the ground was a familiar object, and Ruya's heart dropped.
"MADELINE!"
Throwing all caution and the things they learned to the wind, Ruya rushed over to the beartaur. Pressing their hands into his stomach, they tried to feel around for her. "Are you okay?! I'm gonna get you out of there, okay...! I promise!"
Though her words were muffled by the taur's fat and noisily working stomach, she seemed well enough to try to respond. Ruya was too busy pushing around and trying to come up with a plan that they didn't notice that all the activity was starting to wake the sleeping predator. Their efforts were halted by a grunt and low growl, and they froze in place as the bear slowly rolled over, sitting up with his bear half laying down. He blinked blearily down at Ruya, taking in their features and panicked expression.
"...mmh. You're not a ranger. Whaddaya want? Trying to sleep, here..."
"Y-you...!! You ate my friend! Spit her out now! Or I'll...!"
Ashford tilted his head, still not fully awake to process what was going on. He looked down at his full stomach, letting out a quiet belch as his meal kicked around. "Oh. That uh, wasn't in there when I went to sleep. That your friend? Must've been sleep eating again. Sorry."
"YES! Let her go, you monster! This was supposed to be the perfect trip for her...!" They push against his stomach again, which only stirred up a burp. Ashford's ears went a bit flat in irritation. "She'll be fine, relax...taking a nap on a full belly feels real nice, so can I get back to sleep? Geez, don't the rangers teach you people anything?" He grumbled, already trying to lay back down. Ruya wasn't having any of it, and while it annoyed Ashford greatly...he wasn't going to hurt them. He had another idea, anyhow...
"Ugh, fine. You want her back so bad? Help me out." His bear half sat up now, leaving Ruya with their face full of his gurgling belly. "Push right there for me, won't ya? It'll help me bring her up faster." Ruya was quick to obey, pushing their hands into Madeline from the outside. After a few pushes his stomach burbled loudly, but he didn't look like he was bringing her up...instead, the movements she was making started to sink downwards. Ruya watched Ashford's belly shrink, with Madeline's body sliding deep into his lower half's stomach and filling it out. She was much harder to see and hear now, barely making any bumps in his stomach.
"H-huh...?"
Ashford grinned, leaning down to the black-haired human. "Hasn't anyone told you to let sleeping bears lie? You and your friend are learning that lesson firsthand...but hey! I'm a nice guy! I'll let you two hang out together while I take a nice long nap, and you can think about not bugging me while I sleep. Deal? Deal!"
Before they could reply or even try to run, Ashford lunged forward and caught their head right in his maw. Strong arms pinned their arms to their sides, leaving them to helplessly kick and wiggle as he sampled their flavor for a moment. Digging their knees into his fat stomach did nothing to help their situation, leaving them helpless as he started to swallow. Thick, powerful gulps pulled them into his throat, and his hands only fed them deeper inside. The taur's heartbeat echoed around them as his swallows continued, eventually pushing them into his empty, first stomach. It was a tight fit, they were taller than Madeline- they were forced to curl up as his stomach almost smugly gurgled around them.
"Mm, you weren't half bad. Come poke me again sometime, aye? Bring your friend too, I didn't exactly get to taste her n' all..."
Ruya's world rocked as he flopped over, rolling back over to catch the sun now that both bellies were full. Ruya kicked and punched at the walls, which got no reaction outside of a voice from the lower stomach.
"Ruya? Ruya! Hey, did you bring my camera in with you? I dropped it, wasn't expecting him to clamp down on my hand in his sleep...this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance, I want to take some pictures of a beartaur's stomach!"
"...you mean you WANTED this?! You're totally fine with just, being swallowed up??"
"Uh, yeah? I'm perfectly fine! This is just a part of nature, I'm getting the closest look ever! My phone camera isn't getting good shots, so...is that a no? You don't have it?
They needed to stop taking her places.

it's time for jean himages (horse images). i want to trace and color some of these digitally but itll take three years so here's what i have for now. so im posting on this blog for the headcanons and bc they're not full art pieces yet
anyways these r just sketchbook doodles so theyre not the greatest anatomywise (bc i fix them in post (ie digitally)) but you know what i stare at them so much so here
jean rides his horse in the french style which involves Lightness (a way of like. communicating with your horse and making sure the horse's needs are met, i think) so he's. really gentle with his horse. he braids the horse's hair in dressage style so button braids on top and then plaited tail. it's a big black horse with a white blaze and white socks (yeah im a horsegirl too) (in my digitally lined version of that third image, i spent like an hour making sure all the tack was accurate to the riding style. this is just the initial sketch so it's not accurate here, so you're just going to have to pretend)
harry rides horse a mixture of western and english bc he always does everything his own way, and kim (and judit not pictured) rides english bc that's the standard rcm procedure for horse. also as part of the mounted cop uniform, they have to have riding helmets lol
i think harry's horse is a small chestnut mare with a blaze and stockings, and kim's is a little bigger dark bay. they're quarter horses / thoroughbreds mostly. tho tbh they're probably elysium / insulinde specific horsebreeds that i don't know about
kim hates doing horse bc the horse never listens to him. he's used to kineema! so he's too tight on the reins. but then he ends up liking the horse anyways
obviously a lot of these r not too canon to my headcanons bc there's a few ooc phrasings and some things aren't solidified to events that i want to write about but that's ok. i'm working on writing some kinda' post-Martinaise dynamics bw Jean, memory-loss Harry, and Kim as well as the others at the 41st, and I want a lot of 'Jean has to teach Kim how to ride horse' in there. coz i think it would be fun to write kim 'wow jean is competent??? and i have to take orders from him even though i fucking hate his guts???' kitsuragi lol. making kim not good at something for once and he hates it so much how tf do you stay professional when the horse keeps misbehaving and you can't control her
also im headcanoning that all the motor carriages in insulinde at least are the british way: driver on the right, passenger on the left. carriages / horses on the road on the left (bc the rcm patch is on your right shoulder, so when you pass people on the left they can see it (if you're doing it the "normal" way ie driving/walking on the right, people can't see your patch when you pass them (i know this from experience bc i put white tape on my trenchcoat rcm-style)))

I love playing Pokémon in a way that would absolutely kill anyone who knows a thing about the game. No I don’t know most weaknesses and strengths of typings or what I should be using. No I’m not building a well rounded team. No I don’t remember battle to battle what moves are effective against what Pokémon’s even if I just fought them and lord knows I don’t really understand their power or literally any stat my mons have. I am heavily brute forcing my way through this game with my team full of Sunflora fusions because this is Infinite Fusions and I can do that. Yes having everyone a grass type presents problems. No I don’t care! I will beef them up enough they can tank hits until I can destroy whoever I’m fighting and if all else fails I have potions and revives and everything I need on stock to keep going. I do not know what I’m doing but I’m having fucking fun with it!!!!

He also does have a Sunflora sprite which is sad but the Sunkern one is fucking epic#the rest of my team includes Vensaur/Sunflora (my starter)#raichu/Sunflora fusion (Who I had in my last run and an absolute cutie) Ninetales/Sunflora (who thankfully has an ability that makes him#immune to fire moves) Umbreon/Sunflora (Literally baby. also a bit of a heavy hitter)#and my Lapras/Sunflora (my newest edition who replaced the Sandslash mostly so I can surf)#I can’t wait to destroy the Elite 4 when I eventually roll up there with my crew#Truly they’re all unstoppable as long as you don’t use fire and also that one move that literally takes them all out#anyways I need to get a photo of them all because they’re so cute but for now take my word#and know I’m playing Pokémon in a way that will piss off so many people. because I’m just quirky like that

This fic was just. WOW. I love non-traditional A/B/O dynamics, but this one took it in a direction I've not seen where the characters have a lot of challenges to overcome that aren't entirely external as they adjust to being in a relationship with another alpha. It's handled so beautifully and shows the love they have for each other as well as the way they are both so concerned and nervous as they figure out how to express their concerns and what they're experiencing and it's just a lot and fantastically done.

I wish I had the words to talk about this fic, but it has been almost a month since I finished it and I still cannot find any that sufficiently describe this fic. There is such a depth and wealth of emotion found within every character in this fic, yet you see all of them through the POV of Zayn. You know there's a history, but you don't know most of it until you need to, you just know enough to understand at least part of what Zayn is grappling with. The island is such a strong character to the fic as well, and Zayn's grandfather as well as others on the island are just so rich and powerful. The entire fic transports you to another place and makes you feel so safe with these characters, even at the most distressing part of it all, that you can't help but want to stay with them. I just... this fic was hands down one of my favorites I've read all year. End of.

This fic is so vulnerable from the moment it begins. Mia is incredible when it comes to infusing her fics with All The Feelings, and this fic isn't an exception, except instead of the traditional angst and painful feelings that make you hurt and cry, this is entirely different. It still cuts you to the core, but it's due to the fear and ghosts and everything Louis is still dealing with paired with the gentleness and care Harry takes as she does her best to help Louis let go of everything she's held on to for too long. It's incredible and powerful.

This fic was incredible! It was part of the Tri-Wizard Fic Challenge and I have no idea how Tabby manages to fit so much backstory and worldbuilding in addition to plot into so few words. It feels like a fic that is so much longer than it actually is because of how much she manages to fit into those words, and it's insanely effective. I felt like I was also trying to solve the mystery of who it could be and the fear and worry lacing the words were felt as I read as well. The way canon HP characters were woven into the story with people we know from our fandom was also so much fun.

I'll be honest, I read the complete fic, or as complete as it WAS, closer to the beginning of October and Jinny has since added a sixth chapter. I'm gonna go ahead and still rec it even though I've not read that last chapter she added a day or two ago yet, because I'm sure it's still amazing. This fic is so playful and fun and Louis is SUCH a brat in it, I was like... almost cowering because I knew his punishment wouldn't be BAD but also I had no idea how far Harry would also push it. It was amazing to read them both kind of feeling each other out and figuring out where their boundaries were, and it's just... so fun and so sexy and so cool to read the bits we have actually seen of Louis' stage antics turn into such a fun dynamic.

Uh, yes, this fic was fucking MINDBLOWING. I know I keep raving about these fics and saying they're the best I've read, but I'm being serious every time. This fic was incredibly done. I've mostly just seen the films and a couple of the TV series that Disney has done, so I'm not so well versed on all the Mandalorian things, but it didn't matter. I was able to follow all of it so well that it actually helped me make sense of some things I'd seen in the films/shows. This fic is an epic journey in so many ways, and the depth with which you get to know and love the characters was incredible. The way the men we love were merged with the characters they were meant to be portraying was amazing as well! And the way the narration was set up was so incredibly compelling as well. The plot twist and the time jumps are all done so perfectly for maximum emotional impact and I just cannot rave about this fic enough. It is stunning and stellar and I want everyone to read it lol

I actually don't even know how I found this fic honestly lol but it was such a great read! Louis' baby somehow manages to call Harry, without knowing who he is or having his number previously, repeatedly when playing with Louis' phone, and that's the basis for everything. The friendship and relationship that develops from there is so pure and lovely and they are exactly what they both needed, but there's also so much difficulty they have to work through and it's just so sweet and lovely. Such a fun read.

I could not stop giggling while reading this and isn't that just the best feeling? A perfect little pick me up, for sure.

I put off an entire day's worth of chores around the house and other tasks that really seriously needed to be done (like MEAL PLANNING and GROCERY SHOPPING and IMPORTANT PHONE CALLS BEING MADE etc that keep the family running) and just... read while the toddler of terror sat in my lap and demanded different videos on YouTube. I didn't fight him. I gave him what he wanted because that's how I was able to continue reading in relative peace, and you know what? I regret nothing. This fic was fucking incredible. Left you feeling so fulfilled and happy and just SO pleased with how things turned out. Cannot rave enough.

It is so funny that I somehow managed to find and read two boudoir photographer fics in the same month and how, despite being such a niche and specific plot in a way, they were so different! This fic was at times a difficult read, just because of the things mentioned in the tags and the difficulties Harry had to deal with as well as the internal struggles Louis had, but the way it was all handled and information was given to the reader was so fulfilling. I appreciated how they talked through the awkwardness and just handled everything. It was a great read.

That doesn't mean I don't want more, because I do, but mostly because Molly does it so perfectly she makes me want to just hear the rest of this larger story and learn more about everything she references in passing. It's killer world building, the dynamic between the two women is incredible, and it's SO HOT and yet still smut free. Perfection!

Oh man oh man, where to start. This fic was so fucking relatable and in some ways still felt like it was too soon, but maybe that's just because I still feel like I'm struggling with a lot of the feelings that Harry is in this fic lol That said, it was so cathartic to read and so beautiful to see their relationship and how much they really were/are still looking out for each other despite their struggles. It was so soft and careful in so many ways while still dealing with the hard topics, and I just really appreciated the way all of it was written about so it didn't feel preachy or condescending, but instead it felt relatable and like you were getting a big hug at the end as you were told it would be okay. If that even makes sense? I just really loved it.

Okay so this fic is such a fun metaphor for everything we were in the midst of in 2020, or that's how it felt to me. We were just looking for a way to stop it all and help us become immune, so to speak, and while we never did find a cure, I loved seeing how it all worked out in their world. The way they were essentially able to save each other in different but still incredibly important ways. It was such a beautiful story, and I keep thinking about it.

Harry is undercover and his identity has already been compromised and he's trying to escape and he has Louis in his ear trying to help him escape and it's so dangerous and so much is at risk and holy shit my heart leapt into my throat at one point and just there's a plot twist and it's so good I cannot explain! It was such a well written story and had me on the edge of my seat as I read as fast as I could as if that would somehow help anything lol It was just SO good and exciting!

It was stunningly beautiful and such a cool way to explore it all.

The pain and longing and angst in this fic is so much, though. I would summarize the fic except it's so complex I could never do it justice here so hopefully someday I'll do the podcast for this month so I can fumble my way through that for you haha Just... it's almost exes to lovers except also strangers to lovers because its complicated and yet is also a happy ending? It's just a stunningly beautiful and wonderful fic and had me wanting to just inhale the entire thing and yet also jump into the world and start a revolt myself to free them from the system they were stuck under lol it was just insanely good. So good.

i love how i started taking the pill bc my periods were so bad physically and the pill just went 'no more cramps! mentally we're putting you in a blender tho'
#idk why but for my past three periods and maybe even longer and i just wasn't noting it bc 1) i dont actually get periods anymore#so i can only realise it's my time of the month bc people around me have synced and/or emotionally im such a shitshow that is has to be#and 2) it's only now im seeing a pattern and earlier cases might have just seemed like one offs#but for at LEAST the past three ive been like. fucking manic every time and im not using that word lightly i know it gets chucked about#way too easily but truly i dont know any other word that would describe the way i get and how extreme it is#like i literally dissociate from myself and im detached from my emotions on a good day as we know bc of that long as fuck post just now#so it's EXTRA detrimental when it's increased like this and i just. i dont know how to even explain it#i just lose my SHIT and not in the mainstream mentally ill way that's become palatable and desired#i mean in actual weird and concerning ways and im just like. unqualified and scared and dealing with it by myself#bc people dont talk about this shit anyway and i dont talk about ANYTHING i dont know HOW to even if i wanted to#im truly very sorry for all this i promise it's just my period el oh el#hysterical woman moment! nurse lock her in the room with the yellow wallpaper NOW#hella goes home

Thinkin abt The Long Halloween film, (& spoilers for it), and remembered someone once complaining they made Gilda’s character bad in the film adaptation of The Long Halloween and a whole ‘she’s just evil because she can’t have kids anymore’ trope and like??? I have to kick in a door and say HUH??? What movie did you see?? Like the character is hella different from the comic yes, but 1, not necessarily in a bad way, a 2, that’s not her motive??? At all?? Like she’s not happy about that, but she’s not ever a ‘im inhuman now I can’t bear kids…’ The woman wants revenge because she experienced an insane trauma, and a betrayal, and the justice system is so broken that even as a lawyer herself, doing everything right, it left her empty and broken and abandoned too.
If anything, she’s just a strong foil for Harvey. She is never like ‘I can’t bear kids so now I must kill’— she’s like ‘I was in love and engaged to the man of my dreams and pregnant with our child, starting my career and family and unbelievably happy, and then his mafia father said ‘no’ to the union and child, and he just…abandoned me. For the family. I fought it, and he didn’t. He didn’t stay, he didn’t protect me, he didn’t love me. He didn’t even try. He let them cut my child out and kill it in front of me while I went kicking and screaming and fighting under the blade 8 months pregnant in a gang nonconsensual abortion, and left me literally hollowed out and alone to ‘recover’ from that, and nothing changed for anyone but me. I died that day, and no one faced ANY consequence. Not even guilt. I lost my ability to do my job, I lost my future, my hope, my ambition, my kid, my plans, my personality, my desire, my emotions, my being. I walked around as a shell. And when the justice system failed me, I found a lawyer who cared and was gunning for that mafia family, and married him, gave him more reason, but even he and Batman and the whole police force weren’t enough to stop them, so I decided to do it myself. I killed them, one holiday at a time, until everyone I wanted dead was fucking dead, and I got my justice.”
That’s an incredibly understandable, well done motive. What she did to Harvey specifically is fucked as hell, but she’s not a badly written lady. I love her comment about Harvey at the end that “We were so similar. Just. What was inside him hadn’t been ripped out yet.” Because she knows (and literally says) how broken and hollow what happened to her made her, and she can tell that what’s happened to him by the end of the story has done the same thing. She’s an incredibly cold and brutal character, but the bitch is well written.
Like, she’s an excellent tragic film noir parallel for Harvey in the film. They go through almost the same trajectory. She is a hopeful young lawyer who believes in Justice who is betrayed and broken by the Roman’s people, and turns to extreme violence outside the system to get her justice when the ‘right way’ fails her. Harvey is literally the exact same thing, and scarred the exact same way, and changes to violence because of it. They both even say the very iconic ‘It had to be done’ close to the end of the film, in their last major scenes. Not echoing each other—neither hears the other. They just felt the same. The deep tragedy of the narrative is that in her search for justice, Gilda did to Harvey what was done to her—an utter betrayal and abandonment by beloved spouse. And he does not do to her what Alberto did. He takes the fall for her, even after the things she’s done, to him, because he loves her. Gilda Dent fucked over her husband so bad and I’m big mad but she’s hella well written#her absolute panic after the first murder? when he comes home and she’s alone on the swing & you worry she’s dead for a second#and she asks him to not leave her and gets really distressed??? that scene makes no sense the first time but when you get it??? when you get#the whole story??
