Nova mourns their siblings, praying to the stars that the souls of Euri and Feyra are kept safe and sound. Even though Nova won't join them for a while yet, they take solace in that knowledge that, one day, they will see their siblings again.
Imagine if Jon's grandmother was a super devout Hindu so he grew up celebrating Diwali and learning the whole story behind it and he tells it to Martin one day, just like offhand, cause he was raised Hindu but he's not especially religious but one day he comes home on Diwali to see the house COVERED in (electric) candles (they don't trust themselves with open fire) and Martin's like, "the idea of lighting the path home to our loved ones, drawing them out of the dark, kinda reminded me of our story, us both being each others light" and they both cry, so much.
I can’t get over how sweet it is that at the conclusion of the fight in Mount Tonglu, after Hua Cheng disolved into butterflies, Mu Qing and Feng Xin are both like “CRIMSON RAIN GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE THIS INSTANT!” because Xie Lian just looks so sad and they’re all (f-f-)friends again and they care for him so much
I don’t know how Disney expects Percy Jackson fans to survive next season. We barely survived episode 5, and now you want us to watch our children go through even more heartbreak? You want me to just sit there as Percy holds Annabeth at the bottom of the ocean? You want me to stare at the screen as a 13-year-old girl sobs about how all she wants is to have something permanent in life? You better include a tissue set with that subscription.
