some ramon character insight from art (again for those unaware, one of ramons former admins)

"Ramon, as a character, thinks he's not enough lmao. He gives gifts, makes big gestures, and such because he's afraid of being forgotten. He's also scared of being seen as the weakest so he never admits his weaknesses. He's also not super comfortable with big groups because he's scared something could happen while everyone is gathered so he tends to be quiet and just watches to make sure no one can attack them [..] But basically, Ramon is just the idea of "not enough" in a way"

"It was also going to tie in to how people keep forgetting him, even in the community, and stuff. He wanted to preserve Sunny and Em's childhood because he thinks that:

1. They deserve to be happy even for just one bit

2. He thinks they deserve everything

3. He's scared people will stop liking them too if they become too "grownup" like him

Soo in the Avatar art book from 2009 it’s explained that when a Na’vi dies and their soul continues to live with Eywa, they only carry the memory with them from the moment they first connected to the spirit tree, to the last time.

That means Neteyam has no idea why or how he even died and also has no memory of the argument he had with Lo‘ak before he got captured or how he saved his siblings life on that ship.

The last thing Neteyam remembers are the moments right before Kiri had her seizure. Not the way his family looked down on him scared and crying, not the pain in his chest, not the pressure from Lo‘aks hands on his bleeding wound or how he himself was scared and hyperventilating and using his last breath to admit that he wanted to go home.

The last thing Neteyam remembers is how he protected his sister from bullies, how he protected Lo‘ak from getting his ass beat, how smug his dad looked at him when he told him about it and how he went on a little trip with his newly found friends to their spirit tree.

Do whatever you want with that info.
