Many months of paper review (Patreon)
#Doodles#For the record this is all on the same page lol#Basically a full year of going ''Oh this paper's so nice I wish I could use it'' lol#Unfortunately there was a pretty serious batch error that I didn't notice when I first picked it up :(#It's from my favourite brand so I was like ''Oh it'll be fine! I know I like this paper already!''#Always - check. Always check!#The lines were printed wobbly and askew (so not perpendicular) and there was a crease down the right side of most pages#It's still an absolute treat to work with but editing is a lot more difficult with those errors#So I thought I was just going to have to scrap more than half of a notebook! D:#(Since I'd already drawn on a few pages up to those batch errors)#But then came the Scratch Pages idea to save the day! Lol#I have gotten a lot of utility out of this notebook after all! I'm not as gentle or careful with it as my current-main notebook#I can be a little rougher and keep the guidelines or not colour since it's all intended to be cleaned up later anyhow :)#Although all the scratch comics are up on my Patreon currently lol - I got a lot of mileage out of the concept >:3c#Plus a few of them have ended up here after all lol - most things with lines lately have been from this notebook#I'm definitely going to be using this method going into the future too! In fact I have the next two notebooks picked out for testing :D#Since this one is only one page out from being completely finished ah :'D It's always bittersweet to put a notebook to rest <3#I also like how you can watch my hair grow in real time lol#And my style change in small increments :D#It's always harder to tell with my chibis but it's there!

i'm not deleting my tumblr blogs but this whole debacle with the AI stuff is discouraging me to at least not post original content here and limit my time on social media in general. Also to be clear on my stance on AI, which I think is very much influenced by my background as both an artist and a professional graphic designer: I think it can be a very useful tool and I don't even necessarily inherently find it completely harmful. Some forms of AI are already well used and completely normalized, but I find most of the time generative AI as we know it is pretty harmful and its harms outweighs its benefits currently (largely grifts, scams and misinfo). It needs regulation desperately, but old cunt politicians are too dumb to really care about or understand how important the issue is right now. I do not believe that AI will simply peter off or crash. From a marketing standpoint, i feel like AI usage will cool off or become more specialized (like creating whole machines *just* trained on individual brands for personal use and whatnot) but I have no idea how far away that would be. I just believe there might come a time where everyone is over the "spectacle" of generative AI and will find it inaffective or inherently associated with cheapness. At least in the most base sense in advertising, it is generally much better to have your own photographs and original branded artwork as it proves authenticity. You can only see a illusionist do so many tricks before you're bored by them and expect them, and we're already getting to the point where even the average Joe is tired of hearing about AI and the future, and at least when it comes to art and writing i just... don't care? i don't give a shit about it. BACK TO TUMBLR: I'm aware that its likely that mine and everyone elses' posts here have already been scraped. My thing is that it's more the symbolism of Tumblr's "opt-out" choice: memorial blogs, inactive blogs, and so on are going to be scraped without consent. No banners or pop ups to notify users of this change, you either have to either HAPPEN UPON to see staff's post or see others talk about it to even know about it. Since the beginning of this whole AI boom i had no issue with AI data training as long as it's consentual and ethical, but obviously it most of the time isnt. Tumblr's method of rolling out this change was purposely underhanded. I'm never going to simply be "okay" or normalize in my mind the fact that big tech companies feel entitled to people's privacy- which i believe extends to our online lives. I don't think myself or anyone else should ever feel completely apathetic to the fact that people you don't know, that definitely do not need it, are making money off of you without your consent or knowledge. Just to be clear this isnt about what is and isnt "real art" or whatever for me. It's just a huge distraction from the main point, a big debate that will go absolutely nowhere. What's more important about it is that big techs and billionaires don't have interest in making the world a better place, they only care about eliminating our "distractions" that get in the way of them making money and accumulating more wealth. My solution: We need to make them deepthroat shotguns and machetes.

idia rambles nehehe.
i address ortho by his name, but i call ortho (dead brother) by referring to him as idia's brother.
he's an asshole. he has the biggest inferiority complex yet also a superiority complex. he'll make harsh comment about someone (usually accidental, i've come to realize), yet he's also so shitty to himself and so insecure. which is actually not as shocking as it may sound. just like how vil is both insecure and confident in his beauty, idia is obviously confident in his gaming and tech abilities, while remaining insecure, which i think stems from the isolation he experienced growing up and the loss of his brother.
so, first i want to acknowledge his social anxiety, or just anxiety in general. it's actually not too unrealistic compared to other media. anxiety comes in unassigned levels. some people experience anxiety on a quieter side, while others experience it on a level where it makes it difficult to so much as interact with someone before they're thrown into an anxiety attack. this represents idia perfectly. (i would know myself, as i had a meltdown anytime stepping a foot into public was brought up regardless of how hard i tried to step outside my house, but i got therapy and i'm a lot better. no more extreme meltdowns!)
his anxiety definitely stems from the isolation he experienced growing up. he had no one but his brother and the adults who roamed the styx halls. he had no friends, and growing up, was seen as a prodigy of sorts; he was intelligent and capable, and of course, the next shroud to styx.
and then he lost his brother, ultimately leading him into a complete meltdown that led him to building his brother into a robot. he hated himself and missed his brother so much that he ended up completely creating a new brother to cope. it was actually a terrible method of grieving, but it's not like he had anyone there to help him through it; his parents didn't seem to reach out and try to help him move on from his brother's death, and cope with the fact that he is not at fault.
he had no friends, and didn't think he could make or keep any, because of his station at styx. he seen online friends as easier to hold because there's nothing face to face, no need to explain his personal life, he held no emotional attachment that comes with irl friends.
he goes nonverbal when speaking to someone and chooses to speak using his ipad. he is so self-conscious about himself, like his looks for one, and overthinks every interaction he has. like i said, his superiority complex mostly stems from his capabilities in gaming and tech, but he has no confidence in any other aspect of his life.
i don't see many people attacking him for what he did during his overblot (ykw, trying to take over the world), which is pretty biased just because his trauma is "worse", but now i'm gonna address that.
he and his brother only really wanted to go out into the world, they wanted to be normal and make friends, and play games with those friends. but when idia tried to give them that, he lost his brother. but it wasn't his fault, he was still a child. a child who was cut off and isolated and expected to live up to expectations since he was going to take over styx in the future.
ortho is connected to his brother, ortho is his brother, just not the one he tried to replace. so, when ortho was drawn to the soul of his brother in the underworld and remembered vil's and rook's words, he felt like what he was doing was right, to help idia who had never properly grieved.
idia was never approached for what happen, he was never given the proper comfort and help in his grieving process after the death of his brother, and ortho and his brother knew that. they were two children who wanted to help their brother who was still grieving despite how much he remained unaware of that himself.
when he heard his dead's brother's voice and ortho, saying they would change the world, they could make friends, and they no longer had to live the way they do. blot built despite his curse and he overblotted because he never properly grieved. that grief and anger at himself added on until it piled over enough to go against a curse.
idia's trauma goes deep, very deep. and it's sad what he and his brother(s) went through.
if he had gained the proper grieving council he needed from his parents, maybe things would've gone differently. although his life cannot be changed, having support, and acknowledgement from his parents could've helped steer from his overblot.
although things ended okay in the end, with his brothers both there in soul, and his life no longer suffocated by isolation and a secret, it's sad that an overblot had to get him there.

Hiiii love bug can you do the fluff alphabet for farah
If your still doing that🫶🏻🫶
Tumblr media
I don't think the two of you understand how grateful I am that I got the same request twice! Writing these takes an eternity! However, these are not proofread, I am too tired to do that, so please excuse any mistakes!
And don't worry about the frequent requests, I'm used to the same people requesting from me several times in a row!
Fluff Alphabet for Farah
A ctivities - What do they like to do with their s/o? How do they spend their free time with them?
Farah is an active kind of person, so she would love nothing more than to go out on a hike with you. Or maybe explore the surrounding area a bit. She doesn’t need to discover something every time, but spending that time with you is nice. However, if the weather is anything but nice, then she’ll simply spend the time cuddling with you in bed. Or maybe do a puzzle with you as well. She loves the ones with animal motives.
B eauty - What do they admire about their s/o? What do they think is beautiful about them?
Farah can be a heated woman. She had to be in order to gain everyone’s respect. However, you still have the patience to calmly talk to her. You have the patience to talk her down when she’s about to smack someone again. Don’t get me wrong, she has a lot of self restraint, but it’s still nice to have someone be your voice of reason from time to time. She admires the fact that you’re usually a rather calm sort of person.
C omfort - How would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc.?
Farah is pretty good at talking. She’ll usually distract you from everything, be it by telling you about the beetle she saw or by giving you the most comforting hug you’ve ever received in your life. If you’re experiencing a panic attack, then she’ll play some games with you to get you to calm down. I’ve mentioned it before, but she knows a few breathing exercises as well, or maybe she helps you using the 54321 method. Either way, she won’t be leaving your side until she’s certain nothing bad is going to happen anymore.
D reams - How do they picture their future with their s/o?
She likes to think that her cause will help her build something semi-utopic. She knows fully well that Urzikstan will never become a full utopia, but she wants it to be a nice, peaceful place since it is achievable. She loves her country, so she’d love nothing more than to live there with you. Maybe adopt some animals, have some farmland, tend to your plants and live off them. She wants to be self-sufficient to some degree. She also wants it to be disgustingly domestic, like taking your wrist as she runs ahead to show you something.
E qual - Are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?
Dominant, definitely. Farah usually says what she thinks and isn’t afraid to take charge either. You’re more than welcome to add your input, she actually likes it when you do so, but she usually gets her way. Her ideas are usually good as well, so they’re worth entertaining. However, it’s clear she wears the pants in the relationship. If you’re too scared to talk to the waiter regarding your order, she’s your woman. She can do just about anything with confidence,
F ight - Would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting?
It depends on the topic. Usually, Farah doesn’t forgive or forget that easily. Even when it’s you, she won’t forget the way you spew your poison of passive-aggressiveness at her. However, if it’s you, then she’s more easy to forgive. She does value what you have. While fighting she is also very passive-aggressive. Won’t yell at you, but she will make her point clear. Doesn’t budge easily either. Fighting with her is rough since she’s usually in the right, she knows what she’s talking about. If it’s something small she won’t always admit she was in the wrong either.
G ratitude - How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?
Generally speaking, she’s on the more grateful side. War could take her away from you any moment, so she has to be grateful. She’s grateful for everything you do for her, from cleaning the dishes to folding the laundry to giving her a kiss before every operation. It won’t last for eternity, so she needs to make every moment count, ergo she’s very grateful for all the time she gets to spend with you.
H onesty - Do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?
She doesn’t tell you about every operation she goes on. Doesn’t tell you about all the people she’s killed. However, she’s a rather open person in general. If you’re close enough, if she trusts you enough, then she’ll share her tragic past with you and open up to you. Sometimes she will seek out comfort from you as well. So yeah, there won’t be too many secrets in your relationship on her behalf. At least none that are relevant.
I nspiration - Did their s/o change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things or helped them overcome personal problems?
She’d likely always try to overwork herself, becoming a better version of herself. She blames herself for the people who have died for her cause, even if not all of those deaths were her fault. You’d likely get her to relax for a little bit, calm down as well. Although she will still mourn every brother and sister she’d have lost, she won’t grieve too much about it anymore. She has a big goal to work towards, a better future for her people, her and you. Together.
J ealousy - Do they get jealous easily? How do they deal with it?
Kind of. If you’re getting too close to someone for her liking, then yes, she absolutely gets jealous. Especially if she doesn’t know that person well. She won’t kiss you in front of that person to get them to back off, but she will gently grab your hand and hold it in front of that person so that they get the right idea. But she doesn’t really act too much on it otherwise. She’s an adult, she know better than to second guess your relationship. She’s not that insecure.
K iss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?
I don’t think Farah has had anyone before you, never having had time for a relationship before. However, I don’t think she’d be a bad kisser. A bit clumsy, maybe, bumping noses together, but she wouldn’t be bad. She’d be average. However, she’s a quick learner, so she’ll get there fairly quickly. Your first kiss would be clumsy. She’d miss your mouth a bit and kiss your cheek instead. And when she’d go for it again, she’d bump her nose against yours. It got both of you to giggle.
L ove Confession - How would they confess to their s/o?
Nothing too fancy, she doesn’t have time for that. She’d invite you for a walk, get to a nice spot and then confess to you there. Although her language may get a bit flowery, she gets straight to the point. Do you want to be together with her? Yes or no? She doesn’t really have the time for heartbreak, or too many feelings, so she just wanted to get it out as soon as possible.
M arriage - Do they want to get married? How do they propose? What would the marriage be like?
I don’t think she particularly wants to get married. Sure, she wants to live together with you and have a good old time, but she doesn’t need to be bound to you by some silly vow. Isn’t her daily adoration, the way she almost worships you, enough for you? She’s committed anyway, she loves you above all else, but she doesn’t see the need to put a ring to it.
N icknames - What do they call their s/o?
Habibi/habibti, rohi or ya amar in Arabic, and my love, my moon or my heart in English. She loves having sappy and romantic nicknames for you in her native tongue and in English. However, she does like to add “my” in front of those words to show everyone that you’re hers and hers only. Besides, calling you hers makes her heart flutter. She sometimes gets creative in Arabic and calls you all kinds of sweet and mushy, over the top nicknames.
O n Cloud Nine - What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?
It’s only kind of obvious, and only to those close to her. She gets more chatty with you, she gets ever so slightly more touchy with you as well. While she may not always be able to make time for you, she will go out of her way to grab some coffee with you and talk over anything and everything first. She doesn’t really express her feelings that much, only the necessary amount for them to not bother her too much. Brings you gifts sometimes, holds your hand when she can, compliments you as well. That sort of thing. Will also think about you a whole lot more.
P DA - Are they upfront about their relationship? Do they brag with their s/o in front of others? Or are they rather shy to kiss etc. when others are watching?
She doesn’t really brag about your relationship, but she doesn’t hide it from the world either. If someone asks about you then she’ll tell them about you, but she won’t go out of her way to introduce you as her partner every time. She’s not shy about PDA, but she doesn’t really go out of her way to show it either. If you wanna kiss her, then that’s fine, you don’t have to hold back, but she won’t really go beyond hand holding of her own accord. Again, do as you please, but keep it within reason.
Q uirk - Some random ability they have that’s beneficial in a relationship.
She knows how to speak her mind. You won’t ever see her lying about something, she’s just honest like that. There’s really no reason to walk on eggshells around you all the time. She’s good at communicating her every want and need, so you’ll know what to do. She’s also more than happy to negotiate with you about something. Communication is key, and she can do just that. She’s like that with everyone else too, so why shouldn’t she be like that with you as well? You’ll always know what she thinks, either through your intuition or through her telling you.
R omance - How romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?
She can be rather romantic in theory. In practice she really doesn’t have the time for much else aside from the occasional walk. She wants to eat at a fancy restaurant with you, watch some awful but funny rom coms, dance in the rain, win some plushies for you at a fair. She really does want to do all those things with you, but she can’t since she doesn’t have the time or the means to. So, for the time being, it will be cooking together, cuddling on the bed and eating snacks. But other than that, she will do whatever is in her power to make you happy. She would go as far as tell the most embarrassing jokes in the hearing range of anyone just to see you smile.
S upport - Are they helping their s/o achieve their goals? Do they believe in them?
Yes. She will support you however she can. Truth be told, she won’t be able to do too much since she doesn’t have a lot of money she can spend freely, and she doesn’t have a lot of time either, but she will always ask you about what progress you’ve made thus far. If you need a shoulder to cry on, she’s there for you. If you just want someone to give you an inspiring speech, she can do that too. Just give her the word and she’ll do whatever’s in her power.
T hrill - Do they need to try out new things to spice out your relationship? Or do they prefer a certain routine?
She likes having a routing for the basic things, but she does like something new every once in a while as well. As mentioned already, she likes going on walks and hikes with you. Sometimes she’ll take a different route just so she can see some new scenery with you. It doesn’t have to be anything big, sometimes just trying the new vendor’s food is enough for her as well. However, she needs something new every once in a while, otherwise she’ll grow bored of life. She does want you to be part of it as well, though.
U nderstanding - How good do they know their partner? Are they empathetic?
I like to think she would know you pretty well by the time you’re together. She notices the subtle things in and about you as well, and will mention them too if they’re positives. She can be a pretty empathetic person as well, but not too much. Although she’d love to share the pain of her brothers and sisters, she can’t always do so. But that doesn’t mean she’s not immune to the cries of the suffering. If you’re happy, she’s happy. But if you’re sad then she’ll also feel a twinge of sadness. However, her emotions won’t nearly be as intense as yours.
V alue - How important is the relationship to them? What is it’s worth in comparison to other things in their life?
Your relationship is very important to her. About as important as her closest friends and her cause. She would go to great lengths to keep you safe. But I don’t think she would stop her cause entirely for that sake. Uzbekistan is important to her. However, I don’t think you would ever get in a situation where she had to choose between her people and you. She does keep you safe at all times. You likely won’t have to worry about the harder choices with her.
W ild Card - A random Fluff Headcanon.
She probably has a plushie that she gave to you. It was important to her, but she wanted you to have it. She loves it, if she could she’d still be actively cuddling it. It was a gift from a young girl who wanted to support her cause. It’s among Farah’s most cherished items. However, she does believe that the plushie is in better hands with you. Will sometimes take it from you and just hold it for a few moments before returning it to you, though.
X OXO - Are they very affectionate? Do they love to kiss and cuddle?
Behind closed doors? Absolutely. If it was up to her, you’d be cuddling the entire stinking day away. She won’t go overboard if that’s what you want, but she loves to give you kisses to your forehead. Another thing she really loves is to hold your hand while you’re sleeping next to her. She’ll squeeze it gently too to show you that she’s there for you. She really wants you to dream a little dream of her being madly in love with you and taking good care of you as well.
Y earning - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?
By remembering all the good times you’ve had together. She’ll also text you quite often, sending you funny pictures of her with this cool bug and lizard she found on a rock. Might call you on the calmer evenings as well to ask you how you’re doing. Your voice really calms her down, it’s the most soothing sound on the planet for her. She’ll also go through the photo gallery and the selfies she made with you, or all the pictures she has of you in general.
Z eal - Are they willing to go to great lenghts for the relationship? If so, what kind of?
Pretty much, yeah. However, she’ll always play it safe whenever you’re involved somehow. She’ll keep guards posted if it means you won’t get kidnapped. While she won’t be able to afford an even greater war with even more nations involved, she will absolutely kill for you. She can’t afford to die, so she’ll live for you instead. Her line of work is rough, but she’ll do what she can to keep you happy. Even when she’s been shot, she’ll limp back to you just so you could see her alive.

yo. so ive noticed how underrated silver is and wanted to know if you can do a concept if darling attempts to escape from him ? like would he use his telekinesis on them ? also sorry for not texting after saying i wanted to be ur friend i was just so shy ^^'
That's fine! I don't mind ^^ Sorry I didn't get to your request right off! Aged up as always!
Yandere! Silver the Hedgehog with Darling trying to escape
Short Concept
Pairing: Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Yandere behavior, Delusional behavior, Obsession, Clingy behavior, Manipulation, Kidnapping, Forced relationship, One-sided relationship.
Tumblr media
- Silver would definitely used his telekinesis to stop you from leaving.
- He feels horrible for doing it and forcing you to love him, yet he can't bring himself to let you go.
- Silver is insecure about being alone.
- He also might not have many close connections in the future.
- When he met you he latched onto you quickly, being a naive and innocent hedgehog.
- At least he seemed innocent.
- Then the futuristic hedgehog slowly manipulated you into a 'relationship' with him.
- It's very one-sided.
- Silver probably didn't even fully kidnap you, instead using manipulation to convince you into staying beside him.
- He's a cute hedgehog and acts so loving, it would be hard for many to want to leave him.
- However his affection is suffocating, he also gets jealous easily.
- You at first try the basic 'break up' method.
- You tell him to cut it out, Silver then proceeds to ignore your statement and continues to beg you for affection.
- You then resort to ignoring him.
- Which makes Silver silently follow you around like a lost puppy.
- He gives you such dejected looks, too.
- "Are you mad, (Y/N)? I just... thought I'm the best for you- Can I get you anything to make it better?"
- Alone time would be nice but it doesn't seem like he's willing to give that up.
- Silver isn't really the kidnapping type but let's say he is for this concept.
- You're smothered in affection and he tries his best to take good care of you.
- Silver thinks he's doing so well, taking care of his beloved like he should!
- Then you escape somehow... leaving the hedgehog dumbfounded.
- Why would you leave?
- Was his care not good enough?
- Silver immediately becomes scared that he didn't give you enough care.
- He also quickly goes after you, hunting you down.
- He promises he'll buy you gifts and be around you more!
- You must've felt so neglected....
- When in reality, he was doing the exact opposite to you.
- He was too affectionate.
- You were tired of seeing him.
- Once he finds you, Silver quickly uses telekinesis to trap you.
- He stops you with his powers, trapping you with a piece of metal just enough so he can talk to you.
- The look on his face is so distant.
- There's sadness, betrayal, anger... but it's mixed to the point it's difficult to read.
- Tears prick his eyes at the fact you ran from him and he then proceeds to spill out apologies.
- "I'm so sorry, (Y/N)! If I knew I was neglecting you I would've tried harder to take care of you! Give me another chance, okay? I'll make it up to you!"
- Silver doesn't really give you a chance to decline his offer.
- You'll be forcibly dragged back with the delusional hedgehog even if you cry.
- Silver's a Yandere so caught up in his fantasies he won't think your resistance is because he's suffocating or toxic.
- He just thinks you need more of his love!
- Love he's more than willing to give to you!
- "There's no need to run away, (Y/N)! I just want to love you!"

⸢I don't know whether you're a suitable guy for this 'three methods' or not, but at the least, I'm sure of this one thing.⸥ The following words were eerily similar to a certain body of text that I was familiar with. ⸢The you reading this story will definitely make it out of here alive.⸥ Han Sooyoung's afterwords came to an end there. For the longest time, I couldn't tear my eyes away from the full-stop at the end of the sentence.
Yeah, okay, at this point I feel like it's almost blatant that Sooyoung is the author of TWSA and the longer I think on things, the more I'm honestly ashamed that I never thought of this theory before now. I guess I was too focused on it being Dokja or Secretive Plotter...who might also be Dokja lmfao...and as a result just kind of ignored the very obvious possibility right in front of me.
Like, I recently started to think that Han Sooyoung is the author mainly because of the fact that we've still got three unknowns left and what looks to be three protagonists of ORV, i.e. Joonghyuk, Dokja, Sooyoung >>> Secretive Plotter, Oldest Dream, The Author. And, thinking on it, a general novel also has three people doesn't it? Writer, Reader, and the Character(s).
And also because Sooyoung's "Predictive Plagarism" is…interesting. She can plot out an entire novel whereas Anna Croft can only use her Future Sight three times a day in very specific ways? Hmmm. Not to mention this power carried her forward all the way to the 1863rd round and the only thing to mess up her plans at the very end was Dokja showing up. Dokja…who can create revisions of TWSA with his actions.
Even Sooyoung herself says that her predictions could be wrong, but even if you take it in the opposite direction and take them to be definite futures, we have this:
Now originally, the [Predictive Plagiarism] was the 1863rd-turn Han Sooyoung's power. The Han Sooyoung of this turn, the one responsible for writing this book, also had acquired that power now. And the result of that was this very book. Here was the brand-new signpost for me to follow, me who had read the 'Ways of Survival'.
I mean, it's possible that she straight up wrote TWSA (and/or the Revisions) with Predictive Plagarism and then forgot. Or that she's so good at predicting what will happen because she's literally the author so of course she knows how her own mind works.
And now she's literally directly mirroring TWSA and calling Dokja her sole reader despite literally immediately before that talking about both Dokja and Joonghyuk. So why is Dokja her sole reader? Why wouldn't she assume Joonghyuk might read it? Might also read it with Dokja? Not to mention Dokja just immediately devours it with a passion that he's only ever shown TWSA.
Also, I kind of glossed over it in one of my tags on a previous post, but Dokja got the Final Version immediately after wanting to ask Sooyoung if he's done a good job and if everything will turn out okay. Wanted to ask her as an author. And that's not the first time.
He's asked her before about TWSA, specifically why she would have written it if she wrote it. At the time, the way she responded to Dokja made me think he was the author but now, after seeing that Dokja can affect the course of the story both inside (revisions) and outside of it (comments to the author) plus everything shifting towards the idea of "the characters are going to make their own story" makes me think that was foreshadowing of an entirely different kind. And let's not even get started on this quote we just got:
The author of this scenario was Han Sooyoung. Regrettably, there was no guarantee of the work ending up as a success even if the author did an excellent job. – Time to start our attack, Yoo Joonghyuk. Because the ones to complete the story were the 'Characters', not the author, that's why.
Kind of sounds like the entire theme that we've been working towards for the whole plot, doesn't it?
And there's other clues, looking back.
Sooyoung always insisting she didn't plagiarize TWSA and Dokja even confirming that with Lie Detection. Sooyoung claiming that everything kind of pulls from each other & there's lots of common themes...and then we see that TWSA is full of other genres and very obviously referenced common tropes like isekai, reincarnation, mecha, battle tournaments, etc.
And then we have Asuka Ren writing Peace Land and then forgetting it and thinking it was something she read, which I have always thought was foreshadowing, though at the time I attributed that foreshadowing to Dokja. But more importantly, Asuka Ren getting discouraged because Peace Land wasn't doing well and breaking down and writing something else (Kyrgios) that was a bit more pandering to the general public. Almost makes you wonder if TWSA wasn't doing well and Sooyoung decided to write something else that took off...
And oh my goodness, I just went back to find the post to reference for the above and LOOK AT THIS WEBCOMIC PANEL! LOOK AT WHO'S LITERALLY IN FRAME WHEN ASUKA REN IS TALKING ABOUT "WRITER WHOSE WORK IS BEING READ BY A READER LIKE YOU." AHHHHHH.
That's actually so blatant I'm straight up ashamed of myself, especially when Dokja outright says he isn't the author, he's the reader. I actually remember thinking it was interesting that Sooyoung was there but figured "oh she's an author too." 🤦‍♂️
And there's other things too, some of which are admittedly more of a stretch than others.
Her attributes - not just the author attribute but also avatar. She can make and control multiple people. Kind of like an author writing a book, huh? Except then she's lost control of one of them because she put too much of herself in it (or vice versa). And now we have the novel where the characters are telling the story...
The huge emphasis on how gorgeous Joonghyuk is, not to mention various other characters' looks, which are compared to Joonghyuk's. Meanwhile, back in Peace Land again we have:
In the midst of running, Asuka Ren often looked back at the rocky area. Han Sooyoung glanced at Ren and asked, "Are you sorry?" "Huh? No." "Don't you feel that it is weird? It is probably the first time you saw a character that you made." "…Yes." "Furthermore, he is handsome."
Sooyoung not only focusing on how handsome Kyrgios is but tying that together with her statement about meeting a character who you created. Seems like that could potentially mirror someone else and their creation, hmm?
Also, on the topic of looks, I recently thought that maybe Dokja isn't from this dimension and that's why he looks blurred (because the Sooyoung of the other universe looked blurred too when speaking to "our" Sooyoung). But now I realize...there's no evidence at all that Sooyoung 1863rd doesn't also look blurred to the people of her world. And if we maybe consider that she's the original Sooyoung... What if both Dokja and Sooyoung are blurred to everyone but each other because they're both outside of this world as reader and author and the characters can't ever fully know what either looks like from inside the story?
Or, heck, I'm not certain we actually have proof that our Sooyoung isn't also blurred or that she sees Dokja as blurred? Like, sure, she calls him ugly but it's Sooyoung, plus that wasn't unprompted, Dokja was specifically asking about his looks and she kinda mocked/teased him. And there's even a scene in the Webtoon when he's dying of poison (the Nirvana arc) where she's like "he actually looks a little handsome" or something along those lines. Which I figured was worth mentioning because I remember thinking it was weird at the time but won't necessarily consider canon since it's the Webtoon and the novel is way more vague:
Like her, he was an ordinary person before the world was destroyed. Such a person had jumped onto a stage to decide the world's fate and was moving the main characters. Han Sooyoung had forgotten for a moment that Kim Dokja was also a normal human. She stretched out a finger and touched Kim Dokja's mouth. Then her face became a strange mixture of a smile and a frown. Han Sooyoung giggled. "…It is really strange."
...Actually that sounds vaguely foreshadow-y even without trying to decide if she can see his face or not.
And too we recently had the whole "which story will you vote for" thing going on where the dokkaebis are talking to each other. Now that we have at least two separate "versions" of TWSA going on I wonder if it's more along the lines of the author's version vs the reader's version?
idk I'll probably think of even more things if I continue reflecting on the novel, but this is long enough.
At this point idek what I'll do if Sooyoung isn't the author because it fits way better than my previous Dokja/Secretive Plotter theories and I was pretty certain at the time that it was definitely Dokja. 😂

Steph's Crew: Missing Pieces
Hey, friends!
So, the dialogues for the first instalment of the Stephanie Saga are complete. I'm probably going to post more Steph-related stuff here in future (maybe not as much as before, though). You guys more or less have the plot of the first book... except for the fact that there's a ton of things that I kind of missed out lol.
(Aside from that, though, there's the fact that a lot of the scenes I shared with you are really really old, and get changed, switched around, or even completely skipped in the story proper)
The story is super dense, since I wanted to include several different themes and discuss many different ideas and perspectives. Because of this, I often struggle answering the question of "what's the story actually about?" Like, there's many topics and themes that go into it, so I'm not 100% sure what the main idea here is (I'd say it's probably about friendship, and by extension, any relationship in life. With anyone, whether it's friends, family, romantic partners, etc. Giving examples of how to handle relationships and maintain strong connections with people, and how NOT to as well).
With all that being said, there are several important plot points in the first book that I didn't really go into in the dialogues I shared with you. I thought I'd briefly outline for you guys a bit, before I started telling you about the sequels!
Here goes...
Rachel and Gordon - I think I touched on this subplot in the dialogues, but it is a whole thing in the actual story. We go into Rachel's history with Gordon, the reason behind their divorce (the actual reason, not just Bret's theories lol), and Rachel's pain surrounding her infertility and desire to be a mother. I guess she kind of gets to be somewhat of a mother figure in Bret's life now that she's his legal guardian, but she's always wanted her own children, you know? She wanted children with Gordon, but they couldn't while they were together (which is one of the factors behind their relationship coming to an end). It's super sad... wish I could've gone into it a bit more, but that's a bit of context as to why things are tense between them in the story. (Things do get better for Rach in the sequel, though! Without giving too much away)
Reggie Ochre - Reggie is an old friend of Steph's that she kind of reconnects with (fun fact - in every instalment in the series, I have Steph reconnect with someone from her past, and they always move the plot forward in interesting ways. My favourite instance of this is in book 3, which I haven't really written much of, but the idea is definitely the most epic lol. I'm so excited about it!), who has joined a gang. His character is cool, and he and Steph have great chemistry together (they used to be a thing back in the day. Because of course they were... I feel like Stephanie has chemistry with almost every character in this story lol. That was in no way intentional, btw). He kind of introduces the theme of gang culture into the narrative, which is fun to explore.
Adam and Grace - I did get into this plot point, but I only really looked at it through the lens of how it affected Elise and the rest of Adam's family. I definitely tried to go into Adam and Grace's POV in the actual story as well lol. I just like getting a wide view of a situation like this. Something I didn't mention, though (which is pretty important), is the fact that Adam and Grace are no longer together. They split up a while after the kids were born (yes, kids plural. Grace had two twin girls). They are still close friends, though, and Adam and Grace co-parent pretty well. Both parents are very much in their children's lives, and they take good care of them. It's kind of interesting to see the difference between Elise's perfect privileged nuclear family dynamic and Adam's family with Grace and the twins. Shows how there isn't a set perfect method for family and parenting, and just because you don't follow all the traditional rules, doesn't mean you can't make the best of your situation and be the best parent you can be.
Holly Tucker - Holly (Bret's ex and Elise's old bully) gets a lot more focus than what I gave her in the dialogues. I basically sped through her storyline, but only through El's perspective. I tried to go into Bret's feelings towards Holly's shenanigans, too (since he is in a unique position... the person he's dating is causing pain to one of his oldest, dearest friends. That's a tough place for anyone to be. Plus, she cheated on him at Dylan's party lol).
Jelise - Jason's crush on El is given more focus. I feel like it lowkey comes from nowhere in the dialogues (aside from this one comment about Jason thinking Elise is the smartest person he knows, we don't get much of Jason's feelings towards her. Or anything, for that matter. But that makes sense, since he's not a crew member. He's more of a funny background character, like his friend Connor, who interestingly has a bit of development in the sequel, actually), but I give him and El more of a dynamic in the story, so you can kind of see something there.
Mary's secret boyfriend - This is actually a super in-the-background thing. But I thought I'd mention it, just cuz I love Mary haha.
Dylan and Robyn - Another background thing, but it's actually relevant to Dylan's story. This dynamic is meant to mirror Dylan's family dynamic. Tons of conflict, not necessarily one person's fault, but instead of Dylan taking responsibility for his end, he blames the other person entirely. His arc is kind of about him learning and growing, and not just shifting blame. Him mending his relationship with Robyn midway through kind of highlights his increasing maturity, and by the end, he's on genuinely good terms with her (and even keeps in touch with her, much to Alice's dismay lol).
Dylan's mum gets married - And Dylan invites the crew to the wedding. They all have a great time, and this just symbolises a fresh start for everybody. They've all grown enough to move on from past pains. All except for Steph, who is still nowhere to be found at this point (symbolising the fact that she never deals with her pain properly - she's always running and hiding from it). This event takes place a little while after Alice's (and Mary's) 18th birthday (where she and Dylan unfortunately decide to just stay friends for now. And this continues into most of book 2. Sorry, Dalice fans haha).
Stephanie's past lives - I mention a ton of times that Stephanie has moved around and been in many different homes and families, but never truly belonged anywhere. In the actual story, we get some insight into her experiences in her past homes and families. Some of these experiences are truly traumatic.... she's been abused, bullied, sexually assaulted, neglected, etc. All of these things have shaped her into the person she is today.
Stephanie and Danny - Danny, her first love. The person who taught her what real love is. Her knight in shining armour. Her ride or die. He gets a lot of focus, too. And he also comes back into Stephanie's life in the future lol.
There's probably some other stuff I haven't mentioned, but I think this is enough for now.
Let me know your thoughts! Do you think these are some interesting side plots?

Hiii! 🥹
I’m Yiel, I’m 23yrs old. Born in 7th of Aug, 1999✨
I recently started getting interested in Astrology and Tarot and tho my account here has been around for a while, I’m fairly new here as a Stay (SKZ Fan) 🥹
I’ve been into Kpop since the pandemic started, mainly only stanning Astro. I was a very active Aroha (Astro Fan) back then, but life happened and I have to slow down but my love for them never changed a bit, knowing they’re the ones that saved me from going crazyyy when the lockdown started. A lot happened since, and its been quiet a sad time especially because of what happened last April. Which lead me to find comfort in Stray Kids, and Tumblr. And I’m honestly so glad I did 😭
I mostly listen to Pop, Pop-Punk, Rock, and Country Music. I’m also an aspiring singer hehe. I honestly love the mystery of what the future holds, maybe thats why I enjoy reading people’s interpretations of tarot readings and I have also started to study the tarot by myself and the help of the internet as well 🫶🏻
I found your blog whilst scrolling through #StrayKidsTarot 🥰 I ended up looking into one of your readings for Chan, and somehow, something clicked in my head and I immediately followed you, went straight to your masterlist. I can’t tell you how happy I got when I saw Astro in one of the groups you’ve read for 😭
In all of the accounts I followed, yours is definitely one of those that really seemed to be enjoying what they do and is knowledgeable about Tarot, also I find it amazing that you have Games and PAC’s too! 🥹
Through your blog, I see you as someone very dedicated and happy with what they do, and I think you’re an amazing person all throughout🫰🏻
Love and Light ✨
Hello and be very welcomed to my blog! 💖
Okay! First of all, you have used the sunflower emoji but I can't see which idol you would like the compatibility reading with. You have written such a beautiful and long message and that one information probably slipped out 😁 No worries, this actually happens to me all the time. You have mentioned Stray Kids and Astro and therefore I don't dare to assume you would want Yeonjun compatibility reading. You have followed the rules perfectly so if you sent me the name of idol you want to be shipped with, I'll do your reading, no problem. 😊
Now when the official part is off my chest, thank you so much for joining my little Tumblr family here. And yes, tarot is indeed my passion and I mostly do it for my own sake not for the popularity or such 😂 The fact I can share my interest with others is only a pleasant bonus. 😊
I got my first deck 17 years ago so it's something I'm into for quite a while. 😂 I'm always happy to hear it when somebody wants to start tarot reading themselves. It's one of the greatest hobbies! I often give suggestions on card interpretations here and I even still run the offer where you can practice with me where I will give a feedback to you and help in any way I possibly can 😁 So! Don't be shy to drop ask or message me anytime. I have already several apprentices. 😂
I'm truly happy you like the content here. I try to keep it diverse. I'm the type of person who would start get bored if only doing one thing again and again. That's the reason for games and interactive stories and Idols After Dark series... I like to keep things interesting for myself. If I haven't detoured like this, I might have completed my requests much sooner but maybe also never because I would lose interest in tarot. 😂
I am in deed dedicated but I'm also super organized and methodical 😂 You should see my charts and docs regarding tarot readings. 🤣
Anyway! Happy to have you here. Don't hesitate to interact with me anytime. I love to talk to my followers. Even about silly things. We had tea discussion, we had a villain discussion that gets ressurected once in while 😂
Be blessed! ✨

you: Ok but what if v3 was actually broadcasted me: they would not livestream it to the public, not with their name attached to it, at least you: They use Junko’s old twitch account “How did you even get the password for that???” “Tsumugi is very dedicated” me: but I still feel like they'd want to keep it secret & maybe reveal it if they succeeded, maybe still keep their method secret, because they don't want people to know if they fuck it up, but even more immediately, they don't want people to believe they failed to protect the Ultimates in the meantime Yin: oooo and this is how the parents learn what's happening to their kids! they didn't broadcast the other 49 but they broadcasted this one! "you used MY SON AS A BACKUP SHUICHI?!?!?! and made him PARTICIPATE IN 49 OTHER KILLING GAMES?!?!!" you: And even then if things go too terribly they could easily just blame it on the remnants me: the Remnants they have supposedly taken down during DR3? you: “Oh noooooo the remnants escaped and kidnapped some kids! In their desperate attempt to appease the late Junko they recreated her killing game with these innocent NHPA students!” me: if they blame the fanatic stragglers it makes them seem useless, if they blame the main RoDs it reveals a previous cover-up, if they claim the project as theirs there'll be huge backlash and then doubled, tripled when it doesn't even succeed. I assumed "taken down" means killed. you: They can be vague if it fits the story me: but why would they want to make it public from the start? it causes those complications for them you: Don’t worry about it guys (I don't think I'll listen to that)
firedemongaming: The irony that they tried to make Shuichi the ultimate hope and had Rantaro as a back-up, but neither of them were actually the ones to become the ultimate hope, it was canonically Kii-bo
Nanami anon: “The Remnants of Despair are not a threat anymore” [16 years later] “So um. About the Remnants of Despair…” One overworked PR employee sobbing in the background
Yin: to show off "LOOK WE MADE A NEW ULTIMATE HOPE!" "and how did you do that?" "uhhh no comment" me: that's what would happen if they only made a reveal after succeeding, otherwise people will know HOW and that's an issue Yin: shrug maybe they livestreamed accidentally instead of video lol me: just. accidentally making a several weeks long stream without realizing you:Oopsie woopsie someone accidentally hit start stream
firedemongaming: Branch 14 is PR, Branch 14 is the branch naegirigami belongs to. The pr team is definitely not helping them this time XD I was explaining what branch 14 is in canon. I'm aware Byakuya and Kyoko aren't in it anymore in the AU. Doesn't change the fact that they pissed off their PR team AND their mascot Nanami anon: The project heads poached one (1) member of branch 14 to help with this. It’s not going well Yin: ......they purposely pissed off their PR team? lol me: the person, supposed to click "record" got distracted by seeing Makoto trip, clicked stream instead Nanami anon: … midway through V3 Makoto hosts a press conference since they kicked him out of the observation room. The FF is FUCKED
firedemongaming: Is it the eggman callout post of shadow? Nanami anon: Makoto: I'M WRITING A CALLOUT ON MY TWITTER DOT COM firedemongaming: 'BUT I'M GOING HIGHER! I'M PISSING ON THE MOOOOOOON!' you: “I'VE COME TO MAKE AN ANNOUNCEMENT THE FUTURE FOUNDATION IS FULL OF BITCH ASS MOTHERFUCKERS”
firedemongaming: long story short. FF is overthrown. The people try to install Makoto as emperor. Makoto has to quickly find legitimate reasons to convince them not to. Byakuya is just in the background 'do it coward' Yin: Makoto: I appoint my husband as emperor as I think he can do it better than I can Togami: oh I know I can do it better firedemongaming: 'i know I can do it better. But I'm not about to steal the glory from you. I'm more than happy to be a shadow ruler from the sidelines' Yin: Makoto: I don't want the glory! I want to be a house husband! you do it! me: Togami proceeds to dismantle FF into several smaller organizations with less power to avoid that shit happening ever again, like, sorry, but we can't have one organization that's above the law and does whatever they want because they're saviors if society is ever to properly recover firedemongaming: 'instead we'll install this one family that's above the law and does whatever they want because their family heads are saviours' me: no, no, he doesn't stay as the leader of all of them firedemongaming: I was making a joke about the emperor bit
... but I still think about the logic of immediately trying to fill up the position of absolute power when it's being taken down, why is this actually a realistic thing people would do. Eh, on to the next bomb in your askbox
Love me some sonic snap cube duo references

3 Key Things to Understand About the Law of Attraction
In 2006, the movie The Secret by Esther and Jerry Hicks had a huge impact on the mass consciousness and an increased interest in the Law of Attraction.
Even though more people than ever were interested in this life-changing phenomenon, there was and still is a large amount of confusion on its general application to enhance life.
Here are three things you need to understand before you can reap the full benefits of the Law.
1: It’s About Your Vibrations, Not Your Thoughts
The main idea behind the Law of Attraction is that people manifest their reality not through their thoughts but through their vibration. The Universe will respond to the energy generated by a particular thought as opposed to the thought itself.
So, get yourself into a good mood somehow before you will be able to manifest the energy of what you really want. After a while, the vibration becomes the reward and the desired items are there after the fact.
Tumblr media
2: Letting Go of Resistance
People have certain problems or issues and out of these problems they begin identity with them and eventually think of themselves as these problems. Such as I'm broke, I'm sick, no one will hire me... When something does come along that is not in synch with what we think of ourselves - as inferior in some way - we resist.
This way of thinking can be observed when someone win the millions from the lottery and 10 years later they are homeless and deeper in debt.
To acquire and retain, we have to be a vibrational match to a new reality and totally detached from our former convictions. If we are not in tune, nothing will change. Many people are resistant to the idea of the law of attraction and will refuse to believe existence could be so simple. They will then continue to struggle believing that it is just how life is.
Tumblr media
3: Don’t Be Too Precise
It is always important to understand the vibrational equivalent of what you truly want. You can have an image or a feeling about what you think you want that makes you feel good. But as you get more and more precise, the universe has fewer ways that it can give it to you. There are literally millions of ways to get rich.
But, thanks to limitations your mind can contemplate only a few possible methods and all of them involve years of dedicated work and labor. The Universe becomes limited about what it can actually give to you because you are asking for something that is too cut.
Consider that every successful person has vastly changed their business models. And they do so regularly. They might have a general idea about where they want to go, but they definitely innovate and change as these opportunities present themselves. So, get happy and positive about the future, but don’t get too precise about how it will materialize.

I'm imagining Mega Evolution Professor Alain discovering that your headcanon about the Bond Phenomenon is true (Where it's actually just Mega Evolution without the stones and that there's a *very* good reason why the stones are used) and deciding to track down Ash to tell him about it to get him to stop the Ash-Greninja stuff.
Well, fortunately Greninja has fucked off into the wilderness, so Ash isn't going to be utilizing Bond Phenomenon or Ash-Greninja at any point in the near future. (At least, I hope he's not. Arceus willing that one episode in Journeys was Greninja's last appearance in the anime. Please don't let that gross frog come back.) So there would be no need to track him down, because he's not doing that anymore anyway. He has a Key Stone and Lucarionite now, plus a Gigantamax Gengar and Z-Ring. He's all gimmicked out.
That said, in the anime Professor Sycamore is the one who actually coins the term Bond Phenomenon and was the one looking into it for Ash (he's the one who discovered the fact that only certain pokémon can do it, and that it's very similar to Mega Evolution etc), so it could actually be Sycamore himself who makes the discovery! Not that Alan doesn't help with research, of course, because he loves studying and researching and Mega Evolution is definitely His Thing (he's even known for his studies into it according to his descriptor in the Masters 8, which names him as both the winner of the Kalos League and an expert on Mega Evolution in Kalos), but just that Sycamore was already looking into Bond Phenomenon and so it's very possible that he could be the one to make the discovery. Or heck, maybe they make it while studying and researching together. :) A little father-son bonding activity, if you will. (I'll see myself out.)
Though having said that, if they did discover it then that would also bring them back to the original question of: how were the stones created? Because the method for creating Key Stones and Mega Stones has been lost to time. All that we know about it is that its power that was granted by the meteorite that fell to earth and landed during the first catastrophic event in which the Draconids prayed to Rayquaza to save them (and Rayquaza did so by mega evolving). That meteorite is very likely the megalith, which . . . I think was destroyed? . . . when Lysandre did his thing at the end of XYZ. (I don't think he actually had or used the ultimate weapon, but my memories of what exactly he did after Prism Tower are a bit foggy. I think it was something like, he used the megalith and Hari-san to power some kind of giant robot . . . thing . . . I honestly don't remember too well, I just remember that Bonnie had Squishy kill him and it was wonderful.) So if they did discover that the Key Stones and Mega Stones were created as a way to make mega evolution safe for the humans and pokémon involved, the next question would be, okay, how would one go about making a Greninjanite then? And that's something they don't have an answer to, and who knows if they would be able to find it.
All of that said, my personal headcanon that I want to get around to writing one day is that the stones were at least in part developed by the Kalosean royal family 3,000 years ago, and that an ancestor of Alan's had something to do with it, too . . . but I want to at least write it out in fairytale form to show it that way, if nothing else, so I won't say anything more about it than now.

"Lost a fight? No." Oh hey, Vergil. "Got sealed away in hell for a long, long time to the point of forgetting her name. She decided on a new name and got told her original name so she uses both, but to say the least. Who sealed her away by making use of the fact her justifiable ego was through the roof when she was younger earned her eternal hatred and they're really unlucky she got free. Still, now might be a good chance for you to see what she's like in a fight."
Tumblr media
"What does that mean?"
Tumblr media
"Look outside."
Tumblr media
"Someone resorted to a new low, Necrodeus really can't give it a rest." The entirety of the Black Arms, really? Freyja just shakes her head. "Well, I don't want this to turn into another alien invasion so let's go with that method I've refrained from using the whole time."
Tumblr media
"No matter what you try, unless it's something robotic, death can claim them if they aren't strong enough to stand up to me. Vanish from my sight." The Black Arms? They were all completely wiped out just for being in her presence, after all, nothing escapes death, not without being completely immortal and even where she was standing was decaying a bit before she stopped.
Tumblr media
"I hate that part of my nature but first to fix something. Where life ends, new life begins." She undoes the decay her powers caused.
Tumblr media
"I seriously will always prefer singular targets. Unless I'm down in the underworld, armies or entire races are too much of a fire hazard to deal with using my flames."
Tumblr media
"...What is with butterflies being associated with death? That's two now."
Tumblr media
“ Who knows? There might be three, in the future... “ An unlikely scenario, sure. But not impossible... It’d definitely make things a bit more complicated, that’s for sure...
Well, hey, looks like Freyja managed to clear out those Black Arm thingies, so that saves the crew having to deal with another possible alien invasion-like situation. Nice. The less effort she has to put in, the better...
Jeez, Keine would probably get mad if she knew that she was getting more and more lazy, these days.
“ Also, hey, Vergil. Cool to see you. “

Gilderoy is one of my only two 5*s, the other being Odette. Ironically, he’s the only one who comes home. He’s at awakening 2 rn 😂. So he’s 1) my chosen 2) my fave. I love him to bits. He’s the best.
As for headcanons: I’m afraid my definition of being responsible with them is very different from yours. I subscribe to the “I reject your canon and substitute my own” method for CotC, because it’s so dark 90% of the time, and while I don’t force my hcs on anyone, I do have a very.... wide and expansive set of them, from character interactions to who lives and dies (I’m absolutely willing to share so much if asked, too, but I’ll wait to see if anyone’s interested first).
That said, however, I do try and stick with keeping characters ic! But if a new canon comes out that I reaaally don’t like (Alfyn having a dog, for example), imma just.... ignore it. But, from what I see for Gilderoy, I was missing very little! Him liking fishing means he’s canonically a patient dude and I love that it’s something I had figured out the long way around! He’s clever and definitely a daring man used to uneven odds and has skirted the law too much and too often and I love that. He’s everyone’s uncle and likely has a very expansive network of friends and acquaintances and connections. I love him very much and he’s the perfect chosen for me, as he makes the plot bunnies multiply! 💖
Hopefully you get some more 5-Stars one day, at least 4-Stars can get the job done just as well as any 5-Star. My brother's Shelby (His Chosen One) is basically a 5-Star in her own right! ^^ With love and care, a 4-Star can perform very well with later things added such as Soul Weapons. Like my brother just did a level 96, should be treated as level 100, boss battle in the last chapter and Shelby was never the liability in the fight.
Congrats on getting Odette, by the way!
I had also just summoned a Gilderoy, mine's at Awakening III now. The upgrade of his health put him to 5000. :o One tanky man! He's holding second place for highest HP, it's cool!
When I say "be responsible" I don't mean be a stick in the mud! Trust me! The fact that these characters are open is nice, actually. You can do a lot, and add a lot to them. The game is dark, and only gets darker, I've read some crazy shit (though it's going to suffer in the localization most likely). My mind is a pretty twisted one to characters. believe it or not. Oskha, I am so sorry, but I need you to suffer more in youth for your actions to make more sense.
Honestly, what I mean is just in case more info ever does get brought up, it's important to remember that, and perhaps adapt it into the ideas you've already come up with. I'll do my best to finish my Radio Show notes to share with everyone in the near future!
Every time new info gets brought up about my favourite characters, I actually really enjoy weaving it into my own stories! Gives me a challenge! Maybe it's different though for me as my favourites are the story characters and villains, not the travelers. The story characters have a lot more things to work with, making it more difficult to change or add to if I wanted to. But it's still possible using the given material, I mean, I wrote that big ol' thing about Elletrix, who is a main character, the other day. A lot of that was using what I could, and expanding upon it with my own added lore! And I could ramble forever about Oskha and that drama, but I don't want to yet. I'm still waiting for new info.
Though, I do agree with you... Alfyn and the dog... I don't know the full story on that as I haven't played it or read it, neither of us have Alfyn yet. But something about it feels off to me. From what I remember in the trailer, it was acting as if it was some sort of "guide"? I might be wrong, so I shouldn't pretend to know.
Also the Main 8 characters jumping from location to location when it defeats the purpose of the "I want to go on a journey for this reason!" plot they have in the other game really drains me out. -_- Like with Tressa traveling through three different regions, the act as if it's cute or funny, meanwhile we get told in the first game she's never traveled before and the journal was supposed to be her inspiration to do so. And I know Alfyn goes to the Highlands and I seen a screenshot of him in Rippletide's tavern too.
But enough of a rant from me, that's not what I am supposed to be here for. My apologies!
Thank you for asking the original question, and following up as well. The chat was nice!

Teehee rambles ahead
I constantly think about how Blanca, Astro, and Colette could be my most powerful ocs if they could just use their Unique Magic properly.
Canonically speaking, Valkyrie is my most powerful oc since her unique magic LITERALLY gives her the advantage in a fight as long as she throws the first hit. She's been in the military and she's overblotted multiple times because she's had to practice pushing herself to her limits. I don't talk about her enough and I swear to God, I'm gonna change that because I love her.
BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT! The point is that Blanca, Astro, and Colette could be my most powerful ocs if they really let themselves go. Look at them and their unique magic.
Blanca's magic currently just erases someone else's magic. Imagine what she could do if she let herself become more powerful. She could probably erase everything about someone. And Astro? Astro's unique magic guarantees him anything he wants. If he 100% wants someone to do something dangerous, they can't do anything against him because that's his unique magic. He could be an actual threat to the world if he allowed himself. Colette's unique magic is literally a torture method. If she used it consistently, imagine how many people she could control. If she could control her unique magic, imagine what she could do.
Why these three you may ask? Let's list off the others. Lumi can make a tundra, which is okay. Meditrina can bless or curse a plant into healing or injuring someone, pretty good. Gale can see only ten minutes into the future and that's if he doesn't pass out. Ignis can make a desert of flames that do whatever he commands, pretty impressive. Iris can control someone if they are in love with her, however she rarely uses it. Navin, I had to think for a minute, but he can only go back in time. Titus's unique magic is defensive and if offensive, it is hardly used. Onyx doesn't even have a unique magic.
Blanca, Astro, and Colette could all be so powerful if they pushed themselves. It's the fact that they'd also be dangerous in different areas too. Blanca could easily erase the magic someone has. Astro could make everything follow his orders, including the impossible. Colette could control an entire army out of fear.
It's also a bit ironic, because the Queen of Hearts states that, "It is better to be feared than loved." Colette wants to be loved, yet if she truly wished for it, she could be feared. Blanca is feared but loved at the same time, it differs. Astro is loved, but because he's a demon, he is also to be feared.
Colette is also constsntly underestimated so if she could just prove herself, it could change everything in her path. Blanca is already on her way to becoming powerful and Astro's a demon, it's a given that he's got the strength he needs. All they need to do is get rid of whatever is blocking them and there, it's done. The only thing that remains is which side they're on and what they would do.
I just. Them. I think about the potential my ocs have constantly. I should make like a list of the most powerful to the least powerful, magic wise right now. In order, it goes: Valkyrie, Blanca, Lumi, Astro, Meditrina, Navin, Ignis, Gale, Colette, Titus, Iris, and Onyx. The last three are there because they have other strengths that are not magic, it does not make them lesser than the others.
But anyways yeah, there's my rant, I just love how these three definitely have some untapped potential in them.

This is a bit of an odd and much more theoretical type of question, but I saw your recent post on lost Gods and Goddesses and thought of this. Do you think there's ever a chance in the future that we may reconnect with or reestablish the presence of certain lost gods and goddesses?
Personally, I think it's pretty unlikely for that to happen, but let's just say that, hypothetically, information resurfaces about a Deity. Do you think that Deity would be welcomed into the community with open arms or that They'd simply go ignored by the majority of Hellenic Polytheists?
Or, hypothetically, what if one of these lost Deities reaches out to modern followers and makes Their presence known again? Do you think there's a potential for that to happen, or do you think that these Deities have truly been forever lost to the sands of time, having given up entirely on a resurgence? These are definitely more depressing questions, but I'm curious to know your thoughts and opinions on this matter.
Man, reading that post, too, really made me realize why it's so important to draw attention to lesser known Gods and Goddesses, as well just advocate, as you said with your examples, for Those who are having Their domains absorbed by Others.
Hi Bunny! 👋😄
These questions are great! I love hypothetical discourse! I really want to answer all of these questions to the best of my ability so in order to make sure I answer them all, I'm going to quote the questions I got from your ask and then answer.
"Do you think there's ever a chance in the future that we may reconnect with or reestablish the presence of certain lost gods and goddesses?"
Yes!
Thanks to archeology, protection efforts trying to decipher ancient languages, and technology used to read sensitive documents we were previously unable to access, we are finding the names of gods whom we had previously lost. In some cases we are finding their temples first but over time as our methods and technology get better, the name of the gods who used to reside in these temples might eventually be revealed to us, as well.
Tumblr media
". . .hypothetically, information resurfaces about a Deity. Do you think that Deity would be way welcomed into the community with open arms or that They'd simply go ignored by the majority of Hellenic Polytheists?"
This is a bit more complicated and really depends on the person because the Hellenic Polytheist community is not a monolith.
This also depends on who the god being discovered is. This includes their associations (or lack thereof) with more well-known gods like the Olympians. For example, unless they are really into ancient information that changes the way they worship, a lot of Hellenic Polytheists don't seem to notice gods who used to rule very specific regions in ancient Greece where their role was limited to guarding that region, like a nymph guarding a very specific tree in Corinth.
There are just too many gods for Hellenic Polytheists to keep track of. Hellenic polytheism has hundreds upon hundreds of gods, so I can see the community adding the new god's information to the growing list of specialized minor gods and calling it a day.
This reaction could be completely different if the god being discovered reveals a connection to the gods that the people in the Hellenic Polytheist community already worship.
I would like to conduct a thought experiment to better explain what I mean.
Let's pretend we just discovered a new goddess named Rhode. She's a nymph and the goddess of a very specific location: the Island of Rhodes in Greece. So unless you live in this very specific area, chances are, you're not going to be working with her. In this case I don't really see the Hellenic Polytheist community getting too excited past the fact that "we just found a new god."
To continue our thought experiment, let's say we find more information on Rhode. We discover she is the wife of Helios and the daughter of Poseidon with one of three goddesses: Amphitrite, Aphrodite, or Halia (a sea-nymph near Rhodes).
Given the new information, I can see a lot of Hellenic Polytheists buzzing about the new goddess being discovered because those who work with Helios, Poseidon, Amphitrite, and Aphrodite now have new information regarding their own god.
Maybe they didn't know that one of Helios' marriages connected him to Poseidon.
Or that Aphrodite thanked Poseidon for saving her and Ares from being forever trapped by the net of Hephaestus, after he convinced the god of the forge to let them go, and gave Poseidon a daughter as proof of their temporary union.
Or maybe they are collecting as much information about Amphitrite and now realize she possibly had a connection to the ancient people who lived in Rhodes.
Judging by all of this, Rhode is no longer seen as just another regionally specific nymph, but her discovery now shines a light on different aspects of the popular gods she's connected with, thus helping the people in the Hellenic community who follow these gods, add to their form of worship.
In reality Rhode is an actual goddess we have records of, but I wanted to use her as an example because she's a goddess both tied to a very specific location and one who is also connected to well known gods in the community.
Tumblr media
"Or, hypothetically, what if one of these lost Deities reaches out to modern followers and makes Their presence known again? Do you think there's a potential for that to happen, or do you think that these Deities have truly been forever lost to the sands of time, having given up entirely on a resurgence?"
NOTE: because I'm not a god, these are only my own theories on how the gods work so it's okay if what I believe is not what you believe. When it comes to the nature of how the gods function, all we have are beliefs and theories (feel free to ignore this if it does not align with your beliefs).
Have you ever watched Spirited Away?
There is a scene where Chihiro figures out Haku's real name and tells him. Upon hearing his real name, he transforms into his true form. But before he could turn into his true form, he needed to hear his real name first.
Tumblr media
I personally believe the gods work in the same way.
I theorize the gods forget who they are and take on a new identity, but because everyone who knew their real name is long gone, they might never fully remember. They still might come back as a completely different god but, like I said, since I'm not a god, all I can do is theorize. Other people might see the gods as never forgetting and that's okay too, everyone has different beliefs!
WARNING: I do want to warn that people have used the idea of being the only ones to know the secrets of a very old undocumented god to start very dangerous cults so I suggest sticking to gods who have been previously documented as a safety measure to not fall victim to these cults.
". . .why it's so important to draw attention to lesser known Gods and Goddesses, as well just advocate, as you said with your examples, for Those who are having Their domains absorbed by Others."
This is why I make a point to make posts about Apollo being the god of knowledge, especially since I closely work with this version of him.
The best part about helping a god preserve their domain is how simple it can be.
You can honor the god in their domain
Write a post about a domain people keep forgetting belongs to a specific god. Even a tiny post reminding others about the god and their domain is enough.
At the end of the day, so long as the god has even just one person honoring them with their original domain, they are still the god of that domain.
Thanks to preserved documents, people still know which domain originally belonged to which god.
Remember, even the gods are not immune to being forgotten so enjoying posts about the gods, making art in honor of them, honoring and loving the gods as they are, in my opinion, is the best way to preserve them.
I hope this helps!

The Six Realms
Okay, so I was pretty close to giving up on writing analyses but I'm back LMFAO plus I see we're close to 100 followers and I just want to thank you guys for being so very supportive <3
Alright, I'm not sure if anyone's ever written about this, but if an analysis like this exists, please do let me know because I'm kind of curious as to what other people think about this, too!
Remember that time Fukuchi spoke about bringing "about the five signs of an angel's death"?
Tumblr media
I read a little bit more about it, and as a minor content warning: this analysis will focus on a few religious aspects (Buddhism + Hinduism). So if I get any of the facts wrong, firstly: I do not mean any disrespect to either religion, and secondly: please do correct me if I interpret anything in the wrong way.
Spoilers for BSD chapter 90 onwards + BEAST!AU under the cut!
So I'll start by talking about the Decay of Angels. As we all know, the members include Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Nikolai Gogol, Sigma, and Bram Stoker, and their leader, Fukuchi Ochi. After Fyodor's arrest, the Decay of Angels came into light with Nikolai murdering four government officials in a week. These murders symbolise the Buddhist cycle of existence, or otherwise known as samsara: the cycle of life, death, and rebirth.
"We are the Decay of Angels—hiding here as terrorists, a 'murder association', five people who will announce the demise of the celestial world."
Nikolai Gogol, chapter 57
Samsara is described to be a concept beyond human understanding. According to Hinduism, samsara is the physical world where every being has its soul trapped into a physical vessel. The Hindus believe that everything has a soul, and due to a soul's attachment to desire, it is forced into a deathless cycle of being born, dying, and reincarnating into a different body. In Buddhism, the ultimate way to break free from this cycle is by obtaining nirvana.
Nirvana is a Sanskrit word for the goal of the Buddhist path: enlightenment or awakening. In Pali, the language of some of the earliest Buddhist texts, the word is nibbana; in both languages it means "extinction" (like a lamp or flame) or "cessation." It refers to the extinction of greed, ill will, and delusion in the mind, the three poisons that perpetuate suffering. Nirvana is what the Buddha achieved on the night of his enlightenment: he became completely free from the three poisons. Everything he taught for the rest of his life was aimed at helping others to arrive at that same freedom.
- TRICYCLE'S definition of nirvana
As Fukuchi mentions in the panel above, there are six different realms of existence. These realms represent every possible state of existence, but one cannot live in a specific realm forever. Depending on whether or not one's past actions were morally good or bad, an individual is born into one of these realms. Basically, the controlling factor of which realm a person is born into is dependent on their respective karma. The realms are separated into two categories: the hellish ones and the heavenly ones.
The Deva Realm: where beings are rewarded for the good deeds they have done. This realm is void of anything unpleasant. It is basically paradise— empty of unfulfilled desires, any form of suffering, and fears of every kind. Religious individuals, however, do not seek to be born into this realm since its attitude is more or less carefree.
The Asura Realm: where demigods are admitted. Asuras are driven by greed and envy, and may come in conflict with human beings since they are quite similar. They are powerful beings, but quarrel with each other quite a bit, making this realm quite undesirable to be reborn into.
The Animal Realm: where beings are given the form of an animal (you probably guessed that lol). Individuals here don't actually have good karma to take pride in, but rather, they are born into this realm to work off their bad karma (by being slaughtered, hunted, or forced to work, etc). Being born into this realm forces one to atone for their past sins by living out their life as an animal.
The Hell Realm: where one is punished for their evil actions. The most merciless of realms, where one pays for their transgressions through pure suffering, methods of which include: dismemberment, starvation, and psychological/physical torture. However, once a person's term is fulfilled in this realm, they are presumably promised to be reborn into a higher state.
The Preta Realm: similar to the hell realm, in which beings pay for their past sins (specifically: greed and stinginess) by having to survive through hunger and thirst. This realm is also known as the 'ghost realm,' because some pretas are psychologically tortured by being forced to live in places their past selves have lived in. They are invisible to human beings living at that time, which pushes them to face the depths of despair and loneliness. Your typical horror movie, really.
The Human Realm: the only realm where one's actions determine their future. The status (social ranking, physical wellbeing, and so on) of a human being in this realm is determined by their past actions, but due to the fact that a person has their own conscience to differentiate good morals from bad, the actions they commit in this realm have the power to determine which realm they are sent to next.
Okay, so now that I've got that out of the way, let's shift our focus to the Book. Very little is known about the Book, but the basic fundamentals of how it works is that whatever is written in the book will come into existence only if its contents follow the rules of karma. In addition to that, only a few sentences can be written into a single page of the Book, and it must follow the current narrative of the story.
If I'm not wrong, the first time the Book was mentioned was by Fitzgerald, who wanted it to resurrect his deceased daughter in hopes of restoring his wife's mental health. The next time the Book is brought up is when Fyodor's intentions to possess it are divulged; his goal was to decimate the global population of ability-users. And now, the current arc has the Book as its central focus, with a single page in Fukuchi's possession.
[ BEAST!AU spoilers ]
The Book acts as the central point of multiverses, with each character's lives differing from universe to universe.
Dazai committing suicide in this alternate universe stands in sharp contrast with how he decided to start up a new life in the main universe.
Oda staying alive to act as a mentor to Akutagawa in the ADA differs from how Oda uses his death to prompt Dazai to "be on the side that saves people."
And of course, the way Atsushi and Akutagawa have their positions switched in the two universes depicts how different their lives would be if they were given the chance to be mentored by different people— these are just a few examples of how the Book houses an endless amount of possibilities.
[ end of BEAST!AU spoilers ]
Hypothetically speaking, this kind of reminds me of the differing realms I mentioned before, where suffering is promised in some realms, and better things are granted in the rest, depending on one's karma, or the deeds they've done in their past lives. In this scenario, perhaps one's past life can be understood as one's current life in a different universe. That's just a personal opinion though. Take it as you will.
side note: Keep in mind that the person who is more or less impervious to the Book's effect is Dazai, with his nullification ability. I wouldn't want to propose any theories in this aspect (I don't believe I'm fully fact-checked ;_;), but I could use Dazai as a raw example of how your choices affect your future. If Dazai had decided to stay in the Port Mafia after Oda's death, or if he even decided to go through with his suicidal fixations, life would've been different for him in the root universe (obviously, ryley) I mean, you could basically understand that from how he ended up in the BEAST au, but imagine if he really did slip up in his decision-making in any of the universes.
Many analysts have proposed that he went MIA (early in his life) from the main universe for a while to figure out how the BEAST universe worked, whilst having the Book to his advantage. Perhaps his actions were guided? I'm not saying he's all-knowing, but he's sure as hell smart. I'm not sure if Kafka was trying to highlight the concept of karma when it comes to Dazai, but if he is, then I suppose you could say that Dazai is pretty much unaffected by the rules of karma, existing as the centerpiece of all the multiverses. No Longer Human is the namesake of his ability, but the book talks about disqualification from societal norms and generally, the world. I was talking about it with a friend, and they reminded me that Yozo (the main protagonist) was pretty strong in his views against society. Like he didn't speak out of total defeat, he spoke out of defense. If there was anything Dazai actually lost to, it was his guilt— "Living itself is a source of sin."
Then again, that's my personal interpretation since everyone has their unique perspective of his writings. In terms of the actual adaptation, you could translate the word 'disqualification' to 'insusceptibilty' when if it came to the Book's effects on Dazai? This side note is becoming really long lmao anyways I'll link a few theories which afflicted me with brainrot down below.
Tumblr media
Another thing before I wrap up, the name 'Decay of Angels' stemmed from Yukio Mishima's book entitled 'The Decay of An Angel.' This is the final novel to the author's tetralogy: 'The Sea of Fertility.' The main protagonist, Honda, meets a person he believes to be a reincarnation of his friend, Kiyoaki, who takes the form of a young teenage boy named Tōru. The last novel of this series enhances Mishima's dominant themes of the series as a whole:
the decay of courtly tradition in Japan
the essence and value of Buddhist philosophy and aesthetics
Mishima’s apocalyptic vision of the modern era
Again, this could be referred to what Fukuchi goes on to say:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Some people view the concept of samsara optimistically, justifying it by saying that perhaps each individual is given a second (third, fourth, fifth, who knows) chance to refine their actions in order to be birthed into a better realm, with their karma being the independent variable.
On the other hand, other people, specifically the Hindus, view the cycle of existence as some sort of plague. To them, the flow of life and being forced to endure the suffering of mere existence in any form was somewhat frowned down upon. Some Hindus viewed samsara as a trap. Besides, having one's soul being limited to a physical body for the rest of eternity was not very appealing, especially since where they ended up at depended on the karmic value their past actions surmounted.
Even so, particular types of Buddhists don't seek nirvana, but instead, like the Hindus, they make an effort to be good people of society, building up their good deeds to increase the likelihood of being reborn into one of the better realms.
As mentioned before, the Deva Realm was the home of angels, the most carefree, gratified beings to exist. Fukuchi describes these angels as the people who don't get their hands dirty, the people who act as the puppeteers of society: politicians.
In terms of parallels, angels were the most fortunate and powerful, but they didn't have anyone ruling over them. A lack of supervision would lead to the abuse of power, which is what I believe Fukuchi was referring to. Deeming himself the Decay of Angels, he sought to prove himself as the 'sign of death that falls on the nation's greed.'
A few fun facts (okay, not really) about Yukio Mishima: he committed seppuku (ritual suicide by disembowelment) on the day he held a speech to voice out his unpopular political beliefs to the public. Mishima deeply treasured traditions and opposed the modern mindset the nation was advancing forward to adapt eventually. In his last book, The Decay of an Angel, he spoke about the five signs which complete the death of an angel:
Here are the five greater signs: the once-immaculate robes are soiled, the flowers in the flowery crown fade and fall, sweat pours from the armpits, a fetid stench envelops the body, the angel is no longer happy in its proper place.
The Decay of an Angel, p.53
The reviews about this series I've read so far describe Mishima's works to be quite complex; his writings demanded a lot of time to deconstruct and understand. They were highly symbolic, and he was pretty obsessed with death and the 'spiritual barrenness of the modern world.' I think you could attach a few strings from here to the mindsets of the DOA members. Of course, this parallel is completely abstract, but I'll go on rambling anyway:
He should have armed them with the foreknowledge that would keep them from flinging themselves after their destinies, take away their wings, keep them from soaring, make them march in step with the crowd. The world does not approve of flying. Wings are dangerous weapons. They invite self-destruction before they can be used. If he had brought Isao to terms with the fools, then he could have pretended that he knew nothing of wings.
The Decay of an Angel, p.113
Tumblr media
I suppose you could resonate Nikolai with that excerpt. As much as Fukuchi takes the lead in this whole murder association, I'd like to believe that each member of the DOA plays an equally interesting part in whatever movement they're trying to execute. Fyodor feels it is his god-sent purpose to cleanse the world of its sins, his motto being, "Let the hand of God guide you." Sigma doesn't know where he belongs, since his origination comes from a page in the Book, and is fueled by the desperation to find a reason to live. Bram holds one of the most powerful abilities which is counted to be one of the "Top Ten Calamities to Destroy the World."
What I mean to say is that the DOA members are incredibly powerful, and they're not your ordinary antagonists (or I'm just biased). It's not just overthrowing authorities, mass genocide, and world domination— you could say that each individual is trying to utilize their purposes to their fullest expenditures, and the way they're trying to assert their plan into action is a little more passive-aggressive (framing the Agency, having a convo with a suicidal dude in jail, etc). They're the gray area between evil and good. As they framed the good guys for their own crimes, they're trying to conquer the bad guys for exploiting the innocent as they please.
This post would definitely age well if all hell breaks loose in the current arc (as if it didn't) and Kafka doesn't give us a happy ending.
That's all I have to say for now I guess! Thank you for reading, and once again, if anyone else something they wanna share, feel free to do so <3
