The Theatre Couple™ but not in a bad way, in the best way possible actually

You talk about projects (shows, plays, movies, etc.) you're currently working on

Both of you learn new stuff from each other all the time I think! Since he's mainly an actor and you're mainly backstage

He asks you to watch him practice lines or asks you to join sometimes! (When he has romantic roles haha—)

Watching stuff together and being critics 🤝

Giving tickets to the other for stuff you're in and being so proud while watching

I think both of you would be like. Kind of like the parents of nrc's film research club. You're the ones who know the most there so everyone looks to you for guidance

I can imagine you being at one of Vil's shows or something then you notice a detail that could've done better if they did something else so you call up whoever is in charge. Then the person is just like "who tf are you" but you're still giving an entire essay on what they did wrong

In my head you're truly like a power couple. You'd rule the entire industry I'm so sure of it

You're not like those couples you see on TV where they're all lovey dovey all the time imo, you more like constantly support each other. You have your lovey dovey moments, yeah, but to me this seems more romantic. A very healthy relationship

Vil always makes sure you're taking care of yourself bc he KNOWS it's not easy to be backstage either

As much as you probably admire Vil for being super successful for someone his age, he admires you just as much. He didn't expect to find someone who clicked with him so well AND who can relate to him too

I just know both of you would look so slay side by side. 100% convinced.

Though I've been rambling about stuff more related to your work, I imagine your time spent together without worrying about anything is way softer <3

He'd love to kiss your forehead and your hand affectionately. It's one of his favorite things

His smile being so soft for you?? And only you get to see it?? And knowing you're the reason why he's smiling???

When you're holding hands, his hands are so soft. They're impossibly soft. And you're the only one who gets to hold his hand like that omg

He gets gifts from people often and if he can share them with you, he does (food. very expensive food from around the world)

He enjoys doing your makeup and stuff and in the end, you look stunning. And he's proud of his work because wow you look absolutely jaw-dropping?? He can't help but give you a kiss

BAWLS AND SOBS AND CRIES LOUDLY

LIKE I SAID BEFORE. I HAVE AN ESSAY. I AM RAMBLING. I AM FREE MWAHAHAHAAHAHAHA

no. no dude. they are the Theater Couple, i guarantee it. NO BC the way that she's probably the assistant stage manager at some point (just because she wants to try) and he's playing one of the leads, but they're just. subtle with each other. there are times where he just gently grabs her elbow while he's leaving to go on the OTHER side of the stage bc he knows she has to stay on her side, so it's their little "goodbye for now" AND ITS SO CUTE SINCE ITS IN THE DARK AND ONLY THEY KNOW!! ONLY THEY KNOW!! ohmygod during their breaks, they usually go off on their own and he definitely takes her to his favorite place, where they will talk about what they're working on. he'll go, "I have a featured role--" and she's already preparing to scream for that role when he appears on screen. SHE WANTS TO DIRECT HER OWN MOVIE WITH A SCRIPT SHE'S WRITTEN and he's already prepared to send it to producers that he knows (it's even better bc she demands for him to be the lead) <3

oh god when they practice lines together, she's usually a lil monotone at times (but she is definitely turning pink due to the romance lines AND BC HE USES HIS BLOCKING FOR HER AND IT FEELS SO REAL AND JUST OAIGJEOAIJGOIAJG) anyways, when they watch stuff together, they're both so judgmental it's not even funny. they are the WORST people to see movies with, i stg. she judges every little thing about the lights, sound, directing, sets and he judges every single part about everyone's acting, the directing, the script itself. the one time that they were invited to a film festival to watch new shows that were coming out, the way that he was calm and deadpan but she was making disgusted expressions that just turned her into a meme.

SHE'S HIS BIGGEST FAN, HE'S HER BIGGEST FAN. fun fact, its usually actors that get flowers backstage but vil ? if she's doing anything backstage, he's sending flowers. "send this to ivy, please." "she's working--" and ivy's sobbing in the bg bc he sent her flowers !!! with a note !!! SHE SCREAMS FOR VIL EVERYTIME HE BOWS ONSTAGE, she's lost her voice so many times because how she wants to be the loudest one for him (fans can scream "I LOVE YOU VIL" but she's pulling out a megaphone).

OH GOD THEY REALLY ARE THE PARENTS OF THE FILM STUDIES CLUB. its the way that she teaches everyone backstage and she's the one hanging upside down from 100 feet just to set up a light, while he teaches acting plus directing, while staring at her fondly (always makes sure there are people underneath to catch her if she falls, would probably move so that she falls into his arms). THE DAY SHE SEES SOMEONE MESS UP HIS SHOW, SHE'S CALLING WHOEVER'S THERE AND GOING "who do you think you are, how did you mess up so bad" "who are you and who do YOU think you are" "GIVE ME YOUR SCRIPT I CAN DO IT BETTER"

he definitely takes care of her. it's the way that she's always sore after a concert and sleeping for a while because she doesn't go to sleep until like. 1 in the morning sometimes, which is far past the time she should sleep. he has to get his beauty rest, but he'll always leave out some healthy snacks so that she'll feel refreshed, plus have warm water waiting for her (which, she thinks, definitely means he was up after 11 just for her). THEY BOTH CLICK SO WELL AND IT'S LIKE. they can read each other's minds and when one is forgetting something, the other is immediately behind them with said thing. they are so cute in that regard.

HIS SMILE, WHEN HE SMILES AT HER, SHE LITERALLY HAS TO LOOK AWAY AND FACE THE WALL SO THAT NO ONE CAN SEE IT, IT ALWAYS MAKES HIM LAUGH BC SHE'S USUALLY THE ONE FLIRTING HEAVILY. no no hear me out. backstage, they're waiting in the wings until it's his turn onstage, but everything is dark and they're right next to each other. i guarantee you he always plants a kiss on her forehead, just the smallest one before he gets onstage and she always takes his hand in response, ITS A SOFT AND TINY MOMENT BUT IT SAYS EVERYTHING. it always winds up in her gazing at him softly from the wings as he acts. if any actor asks her or teases her abt vil, she just bonks them.

THEY GIVE EACH OTHER GIFTS CANON, she knows a lot about makeup and skincare products now so whenever she's abroad for a vacation, she'll find new products that could possibly be something he likes and gifts them to him. he'll get her food and they both look through his fanmail. (one of those letters is definitely from her, she snuck it in). OH MY GOD WHEN HE DOES HER MAKEUP its such a quiet and soft moment bc she's usually impatient but when it comes to him she just. sits still the whole time to let him work and it's the cutest thing to see how he watches her as she keeps her eyes closed for him.

EXTRAS BC I CAN AND I LOVE THEM. when they hang out in the green room with the other actors and she's sitting but he's standing near her, she always leans into him. HE ALWAYS PETS HER HAIR SUBCONSCIOUSLY AS HE TALKS TO THE OTHER ACTORS AND ITS ADORABLE. the one time they were hanging out alone in the boys' dressing room as he put the last touches of makeup on, she was leaning backwards in a swivel stool chair to the point where he was afraid of her falling. once, he thought she was and immediately raced to catch her. she wasn't falling but her head landed on his lap as she looked up at him and said, "wow, are you gravity? because i just fell for you" AND HE JUST. HE HAD TO LOOK AWAY WHILE TRYING NOT TO SMILE.

they've definitely got the cutest moments in their plays backstage when they're together, because she'll be in the green room, sitting on the counter and he's always right by her to lean against her. in the wings, OH GOD WHEN SHE'S STRESSED BC OF ANOTHER ACTOR, there was definitely one time where, it was after a transition for the second act, she was just standing there with her arms crossed and looking down--a sign that she wasn't okay--and he just asked what was wrong. when she told him everything and he saw her so close to tears but holding it back, he just hugged her, even though he was supposed to do a costume change.

THIS ALSO APPLIES TO HER WITH HIM, when he hasn't gotten a role he wanted, she knows he's secretly disappointed in himself to which she prepares a self care day for him. facial masks, a good movie, snacks he likes as well as some calming drinks, she does an entire thing for him while saying, "the director is an idiot, he literally can't see talent when it slaps him in the face, someday i'll make a movie to make you the lead" and he always feels better in the end.

tldr: vilivy the most supportive couple of each other and the cutest and i have heavy brainrot for the two of them

I felt the hair stuck in hair part so bad, it's not even funny. And I only have wavy, curly-ish hair. I cannot imagine having to comb really curly hair and it's so hard to have a good hair day

Taruchi saw Azul and thought, "Man… He kinda scary." (Tbf she thought that about. Everyone) But also, "Wait, stop, he kinda pretty too"

Azul saw her and only went "??????" (as did the rest of nrc)

𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐁𝐘𝐔𝐋 + 𝐒𝐀𝐕𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐖

Nothing happened, though Taruchi did wonder about him and tried to catch glimpses of him in the halls

Though it was more out of admiration and curiosity

𝐎𝐂𝐓𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐄

Taruchi probably died inside ngl. She had to give it to him—he pulled a very lawyer move. She did hate that fact too, because it meant more problems for her.

Remember when they spied on Azul?? Yeah… Yeah. She was totally not impressed at all, haha…

Anyways, she tried very, very hard to keep from hugging him after learning about his past. But she did offer many words of comfort. And died a little inside again when they went to the museum and that one scene happened. (pov the writer doesn't remember exactly what happened in the scene) She's thinking, "I probably don't like him and it's probably just admiration, right?" yet she still goes to the Mostro Lounge more often than she should

Azul probably just saw her as another problem. Did not understand why she was being so nice. "What is she trying to pull here?? Does she want some sort of compensation??" Yes. But nonetheless thankful. He probably offers her tiny discounts just as thanks, though he is wondering why she's there often.

𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐀

Taruchi: Dying Inside Pt. 2. She was honestly terrified when they came crashing into the Mostro Lounge. They're broke as hell, how are they gonna pay for damages??? Thankfully they agreed to help her and was once again Dying Inside when they all had to stay in that one room. She was internally giggling when they had to head back to Scarabia together. Genuinely impressed all over again. Like. "How does he knows all this stuff… Wow…" In total awe. Then she thinks about how much she'd owe Azul in the end and starts internally sobbing. (The writer doesn't remember if they owed him something) In the end, she's worried it's not just admiration

(I don't remember if this is canon or not but whatever) I think Azul would just consider this as his payment for causing so much trouble when he overblotted. I also think this is where he actually learns a bit more about her? (We ignore that Jade collects info on people) Through the lesson stuff, he learns she's smart and understands quickly. He's slowly starting to learn she's just genuinely nice. But he's still quite on guard around her, especially considering she knows his past.

𝐏𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐅𝐈𝐎𝐑𝐄

Taruchi is sad she's busy nowadays and is mostly stuck at Ramshackle. Meaning she doesn't go to Mostro Lounge anymore bc by the end of the day she's too tired. She knows it might be unlikely since he was so busy with the Lounge, but she hoped that Azul would be at the VDC.

Azul was wondering why she hasn’t been to Mostro Lounge lately then finds she’s been dragged to help with the VDC. He’s not sure how he feels, it’s weird. Later on, he decides he might as well drop by VDC to see the performance. After all, it was the entire reason they’d have more customers.

When the performance is done, they both see each other and talk for a bit… and they wind up spending the day just going around together. Azul goes back to his dorm more confused than before; meanwhile Taruchi is blushing all the way to her room and hides in her blanket. This night is sparkling don't you let it go I'm wonderstruck blushing all the way home

𝐈𝐆𝐍𝐈𝐇𝐘𝐃𝐄

Taruchi was in a classroom playing board games since the Board Game Club had met up. All of a sudden her friend and the lov— *coughing* her two friends are kidnapped??? She was RUNNING for a teacher but apparently other students were kidnapped too and she was friends with all of them. Maybe. Who knows about Leona

Oh, Rook is going after them? And Epel too? Well, count her in. She couldn’t do it on her own but she has two friends with her!! Me and the boys looking for classmates

The SHOCK when she discovers that one of her closest friends has done this. But also, so cool. But STILL how could he kidnap them all??

She’s relieved when she hears everyone is fine. Until it all goes downhill

When they finally meet up with everyone, it takes everything in Taruchi not to run to Azul and hug him… So she does that with everyone. But Leona. When she finally hugs Azul, it’s a little tighter and she says, “I’m so glad you’re okay.” Azul sighs and asks, “Now WHY would you come here willingly??” to which her response is “I wanted to save you. ...I mean— you as in everyone” and he shakes his head

When they have to split up, while Taruchi knows it’d be better to go with the Pomefiore group especially since they have two third-years, she desperately wants to go with Riddle and Azul. Rook sees that and he suggests that she go with them. “You’re both close to her and four in a group is a lot of people, hm?” Rook gives her a knowing smile and Taruchi smiles back.

She has to witness her two friends arguing and while their snide remarks make her let out a small giggle sometimes, she also tries to mediate. When they have to fight something, both of them jump forward to protect her so she's just 🧍‍♀️👍 At the part where they talk about their past and their dreams, she absolutely melts. She didn’t think she could admire Azul more than she did before, but apparently she was wrong. When they take a break and Azul talks about what he wants to do in the future, she listens so intently. And then he leans on her shoulder and falls asleep

She and Riddle whisper to each other: “Riddlehelpme” “What do you want me to do?? Move him??” “No, he might wake up!” “What then???” “I don’t know!! …Do you want to sleep too?” “No!”

Taruchi gets bored and she’s tired so she also falls asleep… leaning on Azul. Riddle tries to fall asleep but ends up leaning on Taruchi too.

They all wake up like o_o and pretend it didn’t happen

Then they have a wild ride. Literally. And their scene is over once Riddle gets white hair and Azul and Taruchi are panicking over that

Until later on the ride back to NRC where she’s staring at Riddle and trying to get used to it. Oh and also she and Azul desperately want to say something about what they’re feeling but they never get to it

𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐍𝐈𝐀

They… are closer and more awkward. Yeah, they interact more, but they can’t get through a conversation without internally freaking out and therefore making it end too soon.

Taruchi is regularly going to Mostro Lounge again. One day, she and Azul talk and she tells him that they found another clue on how to get her home. Their conversation goes: “So... The other first years and I have found a clue that gets me closer to going home (small smile)” “Oh! (smile) That's good news. I'm glad you'll finally be able to return to your world. (dying inside)” “Yeah, thank you (smiling but also dying inside)”

But you only need the light when it's burning low, only miss the sun when it starts to snow (<- the song genuinely made me cry)

Taruchi realizes that it's only a matter of time before she leaves, so she decides she should try to get over her feelings! One goodbye was bad enough, this one would definitely be painful too. If she could make it less painful, the better. And no, you can't convince her to confess, she doesn't function that way

Azul also snaps into his senses and realizes he likes having her around and didn't want her to leave. It'd sting not seeing her at her usual table at the Lounge, not passing by in the hallways, not seeing her laugh in defeat as he once again takes all her money in Monopoly. But how is he supposed to tell her all that

[SPOILERS]

They meet again in Diasomnia during Lilia's going away party. Taruchi pretends she doesn't see Azul and continues talking to Lilia and the gang. Until Azul goes up to Lilia to say whatever he had to say, then she says hi and wanders off.

Azul finds her again and talks to her: “Hello, Taruchi. Are you enjoying the party?” “Oh, Azul. Hi. Yeah, there's a lot of people here. Though I'm sad Lilia's leaving.” “So am I. He's a good upperclassman. ...I've made an observation. Apologies if I'm wrong, but it seems like you're trying not to talk to me.” “N-no, not at all. Sorry if it seemed that way.” “It's all right...” (pause as he's thinking about if he should bring up his newly-discovered feelings, but it gets too awkward and she starts to leave) “Wait, Taruchi—”

Cue Malleys overblotting and putting everyone to sleep

The rest is dreaming and Azul isn't in it at all so!! To be continued!!

She raised an eyebrow at him, crossing her arms as she stared up at Vil.

"I told you not to follow me. That was dangerous, you could've been killed. Frankly, I'm starting to get worried about how reckless you're being. Do you not have any regard for your life?!" His pretty face wasn't creased with anger but his eyes said it all.

To her, it just showed how worried he was. "I know."

"Then why?" He was actually laying it on her more than Rook and Epel. It was solely because if anything happened to her, he didn't know what he'd do. His hands were on her shoulders, demanding an answer.

"I would risk my entire life, I would ruin those who took you, I would stop the moon from shining again, I would burn the entire world down, if it meant you'd be safe with me again." Her eyes shone with determination as she stared up at him. "I would go through a thousand fires, because all of them are merely candles to what I feel for you."

Vil wanted to lecture her, tell her that she shouldn't have gone after him anyways. Instead, he smiled gently and kissed her hand. "Then, I should be grateful to have my feelings reflected, my love."

i think it would be fun to see both seth and minnie in the same event! :D also i can imagine avery asking roland to go with others even though he's from rsa because yes, roland is a different type of fairy, but it still would be nice to have one around and malleus refused to go soooo (and yes, i think avery would be there too because i've already drawn him in the fairy gala outfit for the ask game and also come on this event's aesthetic is perfect for him)

riley's birthday ssr vignette + art!

yes, i didn't know how exactly to draw his ssr card, so i was like "you know what. sure maybe i can just draw something for their birthdays, but it doesn't have to be their cards". and i'm actually kinda proud of how it came out >:D you'll see it under the cut!

also, since riley is the last character to get a first birthday vignette this year ignoring those characters who didn't get anything last year like merrill or minnie, other vignettes are going to be the union ones! i really wanted to write something about seth interviewing those other ocs like angel or allen (SETH BEING DISGUSTED WITH ALLEN THE WHOLE TIME IS PURE COMEDY) but.. i think i should do it in a more canon way. and also i don't want to draw them wearing the same outfits, haha. but hey, maybe seth will still interview one of them! and he will definitely get his own birthday vignette too!

seth: riley-chan, happy birthday!

riley: ah, it's you, seth-san.. hello.

seth: aww, you look so cute today! i want to squish you so bad..

riley: .. squish? don't you mean "squeeze"? floyd-senpai says that word a lot, though i'm still not sure what he means by that.

seth: and it's probably for the best that you don't know that.

seth: anyway, how is our birthday boy doing? are you having fun?

riley: your microphone is so shiny..

seth: huh? wait, oh no, it still has the same design that i used for cater-chan's birthday!

riley: so you change your microphone's.. uh.. "theme" or "aesthetic" depending on who you're supposed to interview? how do you do that?

seth: yeah! for example, it had this flower theme when we celebrated avery-chan's birthday and i tried to make it as bright and colorful as possible for cater-chan's birthday!

riley: i see.. very impressive, seth-san. is it working though?

seth: it's covered in paint and glitter, riley-chan. this mic is NOT working.

riley: oh. for some reason it doesn't sound that impressive anymore.

seth: ".. is he disappointed?"

seth: anyway, about the question i asked you earlier-

riley: hm? you asked me something?

riley: oh, wait.. this is an interview, so you're probably supposed to ask questions, right? and i'm supposed to answer.

seth: y-yeah. so, about your birthday party..

riley: .. it's nice, i guess.

seth: you don't look so happy though.

riley: it's just.. i like spending time with other savanaclaw students, since most of them are scared of me or they just think i'm weird.

riley: but other students.. most of them think i'm "cute" and they refuse to leave me alone. i hate them.

seth: "h-how can these savanaclaw jocks be scared of YOU??"

seth: "wait, does this mean that he hates me too?"

riley: savanaclaw students are nice though. i like them.

seth: "i can hear vance-chan trying to make leona let him transfer to savanaclaw."

seth: are you having fun though?

riley: well.. the cake was nice. also i got to spend some time alone because i got a new bat as a birthday gift from one of the students and it made me so happy, i decided to carry it with me everywhere and others found it scary, so they just.. left me alone.

seth: "how am i supposed to tell that you're happy from your face expression??"

seth: i see, so you still got some alone time despite your popularity. that's good to hear.

riley: but then you came.

seth: o-oh.

seth: um.. wait, about the cake, where did other students get it? i don't think i know any savanaclaw students that are good at baking.. ah, they probably just bought it somewhere and didn't think too hard.

riley: oh.. by the "cake" i meant a cake-shaped soap they bought for me.

seth: HUH??

riley: it didn't taste like cake though. but it sure smelled like one.

seth: .. did you eat it, riley-chan.

riley: yeah. what about it?

seth: um?? aren't you supposed to feel sick after that??

riley: it's okay. i'm used to eating things that aren't.. uh.. "edible".

seth: .. can you give an example?

riley: well, dry leaves can be very crunchy. i like their texture. it's kind of like eating chips. grass is very tasty too.

riley: paper can be nice too. it can be very sharp though.. sometimes eating it can be a bit painful.

riley: also rocks-

seth: AND YOU NEVER FEEL SICK AFTER EATING ALL OF THAT??

riley: i told vance-kun about it before and he was just as confused as you at first, but then he said that i'm just "built different".

seth: .. i don't know if i should be concerned or amazed.

seth: "just what could possibly drive him to eating this kind of stuff?"

seth: "oh.. maybe his family's financial status wasn't that good so he had to get used to eating these things?"

seth: oh, speaking of gifts, did you get anything from your family, riley-chan?

seth: if that's okay to ask, of course!

seth: "oh no.. what if they didn't have enough money to get him a gift.. this poor thing.. WAIT, I DIDN'T MEAN TO SAY HE'S POOR IN THAT WAY!"

riley: ah, they sent me a new phone, some new outfits to wear because they were concerned about me wearing my school uniform all the time, even when i go to sleep, a game console because they heard about me being close with vance-kun, actually, they sent me like three of them because they didn't know which one is the best..

seth: ...

riley: those gifts are fine, but my favorite has to be the crystals they got for me. they're very pretty.

riley: huh? is something wrong, seth-san?

seth: "I LITERALLY CAME UP WITH A TRAGIC BACKSTORY FOR HIM AND IT TURNS OUT THAT HE'S JUST AS SPOILED AS ALLEN!"

seth: "wait, it makes sense since they're cousins."

seth: um.. riley-chan.. i didn't know that your family was so rich..

riley: oh, my parents are just as rich as allen's, actually. i just don't talk about it that much, unlike him.

seth: i see. it's just that allen likes to spend A LOT of money. he usually spends it on expensive gifts, but he's also the kind of guy who goes "ah yes, it's IMPULSIVE PURCHASE TIME" whenever he's feeling sad.

riley: haha, that's just like allen. it's kind of cute of him to do that.

seth: "CUTE??"

seth: "ah, that's right, i kinda forgot that he basically worships his cousin.."

seth: i get him though, i can act like that sometimes too. riddle-chan is always there to stop me from doing that though.

riley: oh.. it doesn't sound like a good thing to do, you probably should spend your money more reasonably.

seth: "HE LITERALLY JUST PRAISED ALLEN FOR DOING EXACTLY THE SAME THING!"

seth: oh, what about your relationship with your parents? it looks like they love you a lot.

riley: ah.. they're nice. they can be a bit.. embarrassing though.

riley: they're the type of parents to loudly cheer for me when i'm playing sports.

seth: aww, that's so sweet! it's nice to hear that your parents are so supportive.

riley: sometimes i wish they could just leave me alone.

seth: "what's wrong with this kid.."

seth: anyway, what about the other gifts you got today?

riley: oh, ruggie-senpai was the one to get me a cake-shaped soap actually. he used leona-senpai's money, so it's like.. a gift from both of them, i guess.

riley: he looked so shocked when i started eating it though.. what's the deal with him judging me for doing that? i know he eats really weird things sometimes too!

seth: "ah, he's acting more like a true "spoiled rich kid" now."

riley: jack-kun also got me this night light, it's cactus-shaped. you can really see that it's a gift from jack-kun.

seth: it looks so cute!! do you like it?

riley: yes, i like it a lot. i'm glad that it's just a night light and not a real cactus, because i don't think i would be good at taking care of it. my memory is not that good and i get distracted often, so.. and i would be very sad if something happened to it.

seth: you could ask avery-chan for help though!

riley: ah.. avery-senpai is one of those students who think i'm scary.

seth: "it's because of his eyes and face expression, isn't it?.."

seth: oh, oh, did you get anything from vance-chan?

riley: he wished me a happy birthday earlier, but he said that i will get a gift from him a bit later. he said that i should look forward to it and he thinks that i'll like it.

seth: ohh, so interesting~ i wonder what he got for you! it must be something very special!

riley: he probably just forgot about my birthday.

seth: w-why do you think so?

riley: because i mentioned my birthday a few days ago and he started acting really weird after that. he refused to spend time with me after that and he looked very nervous and he was like "OH, S-SORRY, I-I'M VERY B-BUSY TODAY, B-BYE!"

riley: i'm telling you, he probably forgot about it and remembered only when i mentioned it.

seth: "so even though he obviously has a crush on riley-chan, vance-chan still forgot about the gift.."

seth: hm, i wonder how you used to spend your birthday in the past. do you think this year's birthday party is more fun than the ones you had when you were a kid?

riley: i'm not really a fan of birthdays, actually.

riley: i hate being the center of attention and it gets even worse when it's my birthday.

riley: my parents always insisted on inviting all the neighborhood kids even though i never was friends with them and didn't care about them that much.

riley: they were so annoying.. i always wished they could just disappear..

riley: ahaha, sometimes i imagined something very bad happening to them in the middle of the birthday party and it made me so happy..

seth: "o-okay, he can be just as scary as his cousin."

seth: "wait, his cousin-"

seth: hey, did you get anything from allen today?

riley: ...

riley: i.. i didn't.

seth: "just as i expected."

seth: oh.. i'm sorry, riley-chan. i know that he doesn't really like you.

riley: he doesn't like me?

seth: well, yeah-

riley: so you're saying allen hates me?

seth: yeah, i thought it was obvious.

riley: ...

seth: a-are you about to cry-

riley: oh well, i guess i just have to make him like me then.

seth: um.. riley-chan, why are you so obsessed with your cousin?

seth: you know, it makes you look kinda creepy.

riley: oh, it's just..

riley: it's because he was the only child who never wanted to play with me, talk to me or do anything with me.

riley: hehe, meeting a kid like that was so exciting for someone like me who was loved by everyone..

riley: it's okay if he hates me. it's even more fun to make him notice me that way.

riley: i'm sure we will become friends one day.

seth: .. hey, riley-chan.

seth: so you thought allen was interesting because he was the only person who hated you, right?

riley: yes, what's so wrong about that?

seth: well, a lot of things, but.. why do you want him to like you then?

Sol, here's a question for you (to help keep your blog not completely dead /j): What's a song you think fits one of your twst oc ships (or multiple ships if you want!) the most?

THANK YOU FOR KEEPING MY BLOG ALIVE TARU (bc i am realizing just today that it is astro's bday and i skipped medi too so. Here we are.)

Medignis: Just the Way You Are by Bruno Mars (while they're together). Why this song? Because I can guarantee you that at some point, Meditrina accidentally spills everything she's ever felt to Ignis and she's crying by the end but his resolve is to make her feel like she's enough. He wants her to know that she is enough for him, no matter what!

Post breakup (future): Just a Dream by Nelly, it's mainly on Ignis's part because he is the one that caused their breakup due to how he changed in their third year. But by the time they're out in the real world, he regrets it more than anything and above all, he is desperate to know if she's moved on or found someone knew. She hasn't but he doesn't know it yet.

Irnyx: Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls, BUT it's mainly on Onyx's part, which makes it all so much more ironic. The lyrics "I just want you to know who I am" literally apply to him because she was the one who changed his entire life. She was the one who didn't take pity on him and instead decided to do something about it. Afterwards, he realizes how much she loves him (albeit platonically) and he falls for her quite quickly to the point where every second spent with her is a good one, one where he slowly lets down his walls around her.

Coletitus: No Hay Nadie Mas by Sebastian Yatra (the Spanish version). This song is specifically for them because Colette was practically kicked out of her family's hearts and she ran away, finding Titus. While he knew that she was innocent, naive and afraid, something drew him to her and he wanted to stay by his side. And so, he abandoned his relentlessly flirty ways to stay with her. No matter how hard it got, no matter how many times she tried not to break down, he stayed by her side. He always reassured her and when the day came of him saying that he couldn't ever think of replacing her when she was the only one for him, she completely lost it.

Ivyvil: Some Day My Prince Will Come. This one is more complicated but Ivy always dreamed of being a pretty princess and being treated like one. However, at the sight of Vil, she realized that wasn't her dream anymore. She was the one that wanted to save him, to protect him, to shield him from the horrors of his own mind. She wanted to take him away from everything so he wouldn't beat himself up anymore. In the song, it's mainly about finding the "prince" (the true love) and once they meet, it means finally having a better life, one that's much happier. The same could apply for both of them: Vil finally gets someone who loves every part of him, even the dark parts and Ivy gets someone who is more than willing to help her be the best version she can be. So in a sense, the song could be for both of them.

Jamivy: You & I (Nobody in the World) by John Legend. She's the one constantly hyping him up snd telling him he looks good, giving him all sorts of little compliments, especially when she knows he feels down. He feels as though when he's with her, everything is possible and while she is a bit chaotic, he can't help but feel peace inside of him. She's always fussing over him to make sure he's in tiptop shape and it's in these moments--when her eyes are worried about him instead of vice versa, like he always does--that he feels like there's no one else in the world but them.

Ivytrey: She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5. In every sense of the word, Ivy knows that, as much as he won't admit it, he wants to be taken care of. It's engrained in everyone and he'll constantly say he doesn't need to be taken care of, but she's insistent on it. Her insistence makes him realize how much she's sacrificed of herself over the years and as hyperactive as she is, as aggressively kind as she is, as much as she keeps a happy mask on, it's just that: a mask. He wants to take care of her, no matter how much it might be. To him, it's nothing at all. Compared to everyone else, he isn't anything special but the fact that she still goes after him is enough for him. He just wants to be her anchor, the one who grounds her and the one she can be truly vulnerable with.
