Sol, here's a question for you (to help keep your blog not completely dead /j): What's a song you think fits one of your twst oc ships (or multiple ships if you want!) the most?

THANK YOU FOR KEEPING MY BLOG ALIVE TARU (bc i am realizing just today that it is astro's bday and i skipped medi too so. Here we are.)

Medignis: Just the Way You Are by Bruno Mars (while they're together). Why this song? Because I can guarantee you that at some point, Meditrina accidentally spills everything she's ever felt to Ignis and she's crying by the end but his resolve is to make her feel like she's enough. He wants her to know that she is enough for him, no matter what!

Post breakup (future): Just a Dream by Nelly, it's mainly on Ignis's part because he is the one that caused their breakup due to how he changed in their third year. But by the time they're out in the real world, he regrets it more than anything and above all, he is desperate to know if she's moved on or found someone knew. She hasn't but he doesn't know it yet.

Irnyx: Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls, BUT it's mainly on Onyx's part, which makes it all so much more ironic. The lyrics "I just want you to know who I am" literally apply to him because she was the one who changed his entire life. She was the one who didn't take pity on him and instead decided to do something about it. Afterwards, he realizes how much she loves him (albeit platonically) and he falls for her quite quickly to the point where every second spent with her is a good one, one where he slowly lets down his walls around her.

Coletitus: No Hay Nadie Mas by Sebastian Yatra (the Spanish version). This song is specifically for them because Colette was practically kicked out of her family's hearts and she ran away, finding Titus. While he knew that she was innocent, naive and afraid, something drew him to her and he wanted to stay by his side. And so, he abandoned his relentlessly flirty ways to stay with her. No matter how hard it got, no matter how many times she tried not to break down, he stayed by her side. He always reassured her and when the day came of him saying that he couldn't ever think of replacing her when she was the only one for him, she completely lost it.

Ivyvil: Some Day My Prince Will Come. This one is more complicated but Ivy always dreamed of being a pretty princess and being treated like one. However, at the sight of Vil, she realized that wasn't her dream anymore. She was the one that wanted to save him, to protect him, to shield him from the horrors of his own mind. She wanted to take him away from everything so he wouldn't beat himself up anymore. In the song, it's mainly about finding the "prince" (the true love) and once they meet, it means finally having a better life, one that's much happier. The same could apply for both of them: Vil finally gets someone who loves every part of him, even the dark parts and Ivy gets someone who is more than willing to help her be the best version she can be. So in a sense, the song could be for both of them.

Jamivy: You & I (Nobody in the World) by John Legend. She's the one constantly hyping him up snd telling him he looks good, giving him all sorts of little compliments, especially when she knows he feels down. He feels as though when he's with her, everything is possible and while she is a bit chaotic, he can't help but feel peace inside of him. She's always fussing over him to make sure he's in tiptop shape and it's in these moments--when her eyes are worried about him instead of vice versa, like he always does--that he feels like there's no one else in the world but them.

Ivytrey: She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5. In every sense of the word, Ivy knows that, as much as he won't admit it, he wants to be taken care of. It's engrained in everyone and he'll constantly say he doesn't need to be taken care of, but she's insistent on it. Her insistence makes him realize how much she's sacrificed of herself over the years and as hyperactive as she is, as aggressively kind as she is, as much as she keeps a happy mask on, it's just that: a mask. He wants to take care of her, no matter how much it might be. To him, it's nothing at all. Compared to everyone else, he isn't anything special but the fact that she still goes after him is enough for him. He just wants to be her anchor, the one who grounds her and the one she can be truly vulnerable with.

[ 💓 - What are some signs they’ve fallen for someone? How do they show their affection? ]

Astro: He is more giggly than usual. He's MUCH more flirty with them than he usually is. There's a fine line between charming and flirty, yet for this person, he's literally into the flirty zone. But also, he's constantly writing love songs, that's a key way to figure out if he has a crush or not. He shows his affection by constantly being around them and probably slightly pushing the affection.

Valkyrie: Oh dear, this girl. It is so hard to tell if she has fallen for someone because she buries that emotion into her work to the point where her crush will not think of her first if they hear that someone has a crush on them. She shows her affection by speaking a lot more around them with the occasional filler word. That's a way to figure out if she has a crush.

Onyx: If he's around Valkyrie and Iris, he's going to revert to him being shy again. The second his crush walks by, his face is in his hands, he doesn't want to see them. He does NOT show his affection and in fact, he's blunt whenever they talk to him. It doesn't mean his face is not burning as he fiddles with his hands.

[ 💝 - What gestures do they really appreciate? How do you get on their good side? ]

Lumi: She appreciates it when she accidentally takes a nap while working and someone puts something over her. She also appreciates new books, even if she already has them. It's not easy to get on her good side, but not hard either. You just have to have a good vibe and she'll determine if you're good, since she will study your body language.

Meditrina: She appreciates being bought food ingredients. She also loves being brought plants, tiny insignificant gifts like smooth rocks (she has a collection), and stuff like mood rings. It's easy to get on her good side, but also easy to get on her bad side. She likes everyone, until her instincts tell her something about someone, even if they have never spoken. She will harbor a hatred for that person. But if her instincts say you're okay, she automatically likes you. Her gut is never wrong, it's eerie.

Iris: Ah, the local Ignihyde tsundere. She appreciates being brought food when it's late at night and she's working, as well as new tools. She also appreciates it when people listen to her ramble about things she's currently learning or projects she's working on. It's hard to get on her good side because she's been betrayed so much by her ex-friends. To get on her good side, you have to prove that you're not going to be a traitor. This can take up to weeks for her to trust you, please be patient with her.

[ 🥰 - What pet names do their partner(s) use for them? How flustered do they get by them? ]

Colette: Titus uses the pet names "princess, honey, love of my life, my jewel" and genuinely, each time it makes her heart race. Princess, 8/10, she's flustered but not fully. Honey, 3/10, she's just smiling a lot. Love of my life, 100000000/10, she's hiding her face in her hands and her face is burning. My jewel, 7/10, loves the pet name a lot.

Titus: Colette uses the pet names "my love, light of my life, lovely, pretty boy", all of them vary in his flustered state. My love is a classic, however, it does not fail to make him pink in the face, 9/10. Light of my life? 8/10, his ears are pink and he's scratching the back of his neck sheepishly. Lovely, 10/10, he's just AJNLNGFXDFNKIF the entire time. Pretty boy, 100000000000000000/10, his whole face is tomato red and if he gets a hug or a kiss from her afterwards, he's going to combust.

16. What would they consider quality time?

Quality time would just be hanging out with each other. They're so stable in their relationship that they think just being around each other is quality time. Usually, it can range from anything between doing their own things while being with each other to actual picnics. They like to be with each other while doing their own things though, that definitely qualifies as quality time for them.

24. What do your characters think about marriage? Are they for or against it?

Oh boy, Colette got asked about this once and she couldn't look Titus in the eye for a week. She has actually thought about it and designed her own dress, but do NOT tell anybody. She can't really see herself with anyone but Titus, yet the idea of actually marrying him makes her want to scream and run for the hills. Not in a bad way, but it makes her flustered. However, she'd literally be willing to pay for everything at her wedding, she's got it, anything for him. Titus has thought about it before but he turned so red on that day. The package trio were all like, "Oh ???" He can't see himself with anyone but her and he just loves how he still, after all these years, gets butterflies in his stomach just by looking at her. They are both for it, although they won't tell each other that. Anyone looking at their relationship would say that they'd definitely get married at some point.

2 .What was their first date like? If they haven’t been on a date yet, how would it go?

Very likely, it would have to have been a coffee date. One of her hobbies is taste testing coffee. Lumi was actually nervous the whole time and in her brain, she was like, "What if this is all a bet like in the romance movies Gale has showed me? What if he doesn't like me?" Thanks, Gale, now Miles has a nervous Lumi on his hands. But genuinely, this girl probably slammed Ignis's door opened and took all his romance manga to study how first dates go. No, Lumi, you cannot study how a date will go. It was very sweet though, she'll go back and that's when, in private, she becomes so red since she's been bottling it up to not lose face in front of him.

19. It’s raining, did either of your OCs bring an umbrella? If so, who, and do they share it?

Unsurprisingly, it's Meditrina that brought the umbrella. Ignis had seen the rain and immediately froze because he forgot his so he's standing there hoping someone will take pity on him. Thankfully, it's his own girlfriend and she does share it. She doesn't stop teasing him about it though. He's the one holding it and he secretly wants to give her his jacket but the girl has somehow made the flower in her hair grow so that nothing would get on her head and she's got a big jacket to cover her. Someday, he will be able to save her and give her his own jacket.

28. Are they affectionate in public? Is it too much?

No, they're not that affectionate in public, especially in front of their friends. But there are times where Meditrina needs to calm down so she just hugs him tightly AND if he's talking to someone, he doesn't stop talking to them, he just hugs her back too. Sometimes, he'll be the one to do that when he's upset and he hugs her from behind. The most they do is pinkie holding or he sneaks his hand into her pocket to hold her hand. The first time it happened, her face was burning and her first instinct was actually to step away. Yes, the affection was too much for her, public or not.

[ Does your OC have any endearing qualities? ]

Lumi: She likes to help. It seems like she doesn’t, but she’s not the type of person to rub her intelligence in other people’s faces. In fact, she uses it so that it can contribute to whatever the other person needs.

Meditrina: She celebrates others. She knows what it feels like to have something big just pass by someone’s nose, so she never wants someone to feel like they could’ve done better. They deserve to have even the smallest achievements praised and that’s what she exactly what she does.

Gale: He listens to others. He doesn’t like it when someone doesn’t listen to him so he refuses to be that person for someone else. Whether it’s something simple or mundane or even eccentric, he is listening and even asking questions if possible.

Ignis: He has a good sense of humor. He makes himself laugh most of the time and that causes other people to laugh. Sometimes he’ll make jokes that make other people laugh and he isn’t even trying. It surprises him pleasantly. He can make jokes to cheer someone up if they’re feeling down and won’t show it openly.

Iris: She isn’t afraid to stand up for herself or others. If she ever hears that someone’s taking advantage of her friends, she’s going to personally go up to them. She’s already dealt with having to be seen as inferior in comparison to others, so seeing that happening to more people is something she will not stand for. She’ll even teach them to defend themselves if they cannot.

Navin: He knows exactly what compliments to give people. They’re not small like, “That was amazing!” They’re super specific to what that person wants. He’s an actor so he studies people constantly, granting him the knowledge he needs to give others the compliments that they deserve and want.

Blanca: She’s adaptable and unpredictable, in a good way. She isn’t the type of person that has mood swings constantly, but her personality sometimes changes depending on the situation and how well she can adapt to it.

Colette: She’s dependable. She’s the one girl that doesn’t care if you can’t pay her back for anything, she just wants you to be happy and she’ll do anything to make sure it happens. If you need her there with you, she’s there. You need a favor? She’s got you.

Titus: He lives for himself and not other people. He’s no kind of people pleaser and because of that, he never worries about what people think of him, thus making him more likable since his personality is all his and never copies anyone else!

[ What's a childhood memory they cherish most? ]

Lumi: The memory she cherishes most would be when she was playing in the snow that she made with Allen. They used to play with a bunch of figurines and dolls that she had created with her magic and make stories all the time. Of course, he had to wear warm clothes but the time they had together was the best for her.

Meditrina: The times she and her childhood friend had together. She definitely liked him at one point, even though she never wanted to admit it to herself, and vice versa. What she liked most was their casual banter back and forth. She’s still in contact with him and they’ve moved on from that.

Gale: Having his friends on Earth celebrate his birthday in school. They brought him presents and one of them even brought him an entire cake with a hidden lighter. They even sang to him, as embarrassed as he was. It was the best birthday he’s ever had and he remembers it fondly even now as he learns magic.

Ignis: His last winter performance in fifth grade! He audtioned to be an MC and he got the role. He did not have to dance the first dance, but he was allowed to do the second one and that’s where his love of dancing started. He even got a solo part where other people were brought in at his cue, it was the most fun he’d had in ages.

Iris: Her third grade teacher, seeing that she hardly had any friends, bought boxes of pizza so that she could invite some people and she could bond with them. It never worked, but the thought of her teacher doing everything in her power to help Iris always made her feel warm inside.

Navin: Singing with his favorite cousin. They were very close when they were younger and his parents would take him to his cousin’s place so that they were able to play together. Most of the time, they brought out her karaoke machine and they’d sing until his parents told him that it was time to go home. He misses her a lot.

Blanca: The first time she defeated her teacher in swordfighting when she was 8. She was better than everyone else in her class, even the older kids, but never the teacher. When she finally made him fall, sword at his neck, she felt a rush of adrenaline go through her and she was even referred to a competition. She ended up winning it, but it was nothing compared to the victory over her old teacher.

Colette: Her mother taking her, for the first time ever, to an amusement park. She enjoyed the rides and the food there, it was all such a different experience, full of adrenaline and very likely grease. She won a panda from the place though, she still has it.

Titus: When he was taken in by his first family. He was fed and given so many things that he’d never had before, and for the first time in a long time, he could finally sleep somewhere that wasn’t deathly cold or deathly hot. It was comfortable and felt familiar.

GREETINGS, SOL!! 1, 8, and 17 for all your ocs if you don't mind!

YEAHHHHHH THESE WERE SO CUTE

[ Is your OC a hugger or do they not like that sort of affection? Do they initiate a hug or get roped into them? ]

Lumi: She is not a hugger, but it doesn’t mean she doesn’t like that affection. She gets roped into them most of the time yet if she’s really tired or emotional, she’ll be the one to initiate it.

Meditrina: She’s a hugger, especially when she gets excited or meets up with her friends. She’s the one initiating hugs, so unless someone has specifically told her not to touch them, she will be giving people hugs.

Gale: Second in a row, he’s most definitely a hugger, gives his homies hugs all the time. He initiates them and they’re third best. He’s the guy that will pat your head and say, “I won’t let go until you’re ready.” Some of the best hugs ever, they can make you cry.

Ignis: He’s a hugger. He initiates the hugs. His hugs are the absolute BEST, but they are second best to someone else. It’s because he’s tall, one, two, he’s warm and three, he does those hugs where he squeezes you before he lets go.

Iris: Not a hugger and never was one until she met Meditrina. She doesn’t hate the affection at all, it makes her go :) internally. She gets roped into them, sometimes she even gets roped into group hugs.

Navin: He bounces up and down at the slight mention of a hug. Because of his height, he’s actually very cuddly and he loves the affection. He is both, he initiates the hug and gets roped into them.

Blanca: She’s not much of a hugger, she’s more of the “arm around the shoulders” person, unless someone else is initiating it. She obviously gets roped into them, but she doesn’t mind! She loves them!

Colette: She’s a hugger, she actually had to learn how to hug properly at some point ;-; but now she knows and she’s the one that initiates them, especially when she sees people being down.

Titus: He’s got the most comforting hugs, they’re just the absolute best. 1000000/10 would recommend. He is a hugger because his friends need comfort, so he initiates them! Also another guy that can make you cry with his hugs.

Lumi: Ten Minutes Ago (Reprise) or Cinderella Waltz, both from Rodger and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (no, it isn’t because of waltzing what)

Meditrina: What Else Can I Do? from Encanto (obviously)

Gale: Barking At The Moon from Bolt (but in Spanish)

Ignis: Kingdom Dance from Tangled

Iris: Satisfied or Wait for It, both from Hamilton (>:) satisfied for a specific angst reason) maybe even A Lovely Night

Titus: Do I Love You Because You’re Beautiful? from Cinderella

[ Do they have a comfort food? Who makes it best? ]

Lumi: It has to be anything chocolate, but specifically chocolate ice cream cake. She used to make it herself a lot, but she wants someone to try and make it for her.

Meditrina: Bean pupusas, they’re her absolute favorite comfort food. Her mother used to make the best ones and now she’s the one making them for herself. Only Ignis makes the second best pupusas.

Gale: Garlic bread with cheese. He loves it so much, especially when it’s warm and the cheese is just melting on the bread. It hits different with a layer of parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. Ignis makes the best garlic bread.

Ignis: It’s so basic but pizza. Pizza is incredible and he likes it with a bit of hot sauce. Gale makes the best pizza after the amount of time he’s lived in New York, wherever that is.

Iris: Pasta. She doesn’t like vegetables unless they’re in a sauce. There’s only three people that have ever made the best pasta in her life: Ignis, Navin, and her friend, who is not revealed yet.

Navin: Bagels! They’re actually really good and he loves them a lot. Blueberry, sesame seed, his new favorite has to be the french toast one. Gale makes the greatest bagels in history and the cream cheese always slaps.

Blanca: Ice cream, that’s it, nothing else. She will curl up with a pint (or many pints) of ice cream when she needs to be comforted. Malleus keeps her stashed with them and she shares them with him.

Colette: Croque madame! It’s the best way to make her happy and Titus makes the best ones. But also cheesecake, it’s her absolute favorite. Gale is the one who makes the best cheesecake. New York style cheesecake, anyone?

Titus: Spaghetti. It’s his favorite but he also really likes macarons. It doesn’t matter what flavor. He just likes food in general, can’t go wrong with it and he is not a picky eater!

[ 🌵 CACTUS: What are some reasons someone might not like them? What are their personality flaws? ]

Lumi: She’s too logical. Because of this logic, she tends to be the type of person that unknowingly busts someone's bubble, especially when it comes to love. Love is not simple, so why are people treating it like it is? Her personality flaws would include that she is unforgiving (this is before), paranoid, and the slightest bit of hubris. She can be too proud at times.

Meditrina: If inspected carefully, people could say she tries too hard. But in reality, it’s the way she was raised. She needs to try more to get to the point where she is used to. She doesn't mean to be a tryhard but it's the only way she knows how. Her personality flaws would be stubborness and awkwardness. She is super stubborn about what she does but she's also not used to meeting new people as much as some of her friends.

Gale: He’s too much of a tease. He likes making new friends but they see him as nothing more than someone who doesn't know stuff and gets by with flirts and compliments. He hates being seen like that but there's nothing he can do. He can't even lie to them, it's too easy to tell when he's lying while he can't control his emotions. His personality flaw would be his loyalty, he is so loyal to those he loves that it could hurt him at the end of the day. It already did.

Ignis: He doesn’t seem like he takes things seriously. He is the fun one but so many people assume that because he's a part of the Package Trio, he cannot take stuff seriously therefore he is not to be trusted. He knows when to take stuff seriously but he is also disliked for the assumption that he uses his looks to get what he wants. His personality flaw would be the naivety that he has about some things or like Gale, his loyalty. He trusts people too easily and it can lead to him being manipulated fast.

Iris: She is way too arrogant. It’s to hide what she truly feels deep down inside, but no one will get that off the bat. She believes that if she is over confident, no one will ever try to mess sith her but instead she subconsciously ends up pushing people away because she seems way too vain. Her personality flaw would definitely be hubris. She prides herself in her work to the point where she does not believe anyone else could do better than her.

Navin: He is way over-the-top and could be overwhelming to some people. He likes to show his affections to his loved ones in a way that could be overwhelming. He's a theater kid but also the mom friend so it's a big difference and no one trusts him for it. He's too nice therefore he must be hiding something. His personality flaw would be how selfless he is. If he wasn't stopped, he'd be selfless to the point where he'd prioritize his health for someone's temporary happiness.

Blanca: She’s too focused on her past to see what’s in her future. She still hasn't been able to let go of what happened to her or heal from it, so it seems like she's power hungry and a control freak that can't even control her own temper. Because of this, her personality flaw would probably be her unpredictability. No one knows her next step and she specifically does this so that no one will think any different of her but people already have bad first impressions of her.

Colette: She’s slightly naive and tends to get defensive about it. She was raised and protected like a princess so everything was catered to her and when she was shoved into the real world, she was completely lost. She's tougher now but people can only see either a spoiled princess or someone that's innocent. She is not innocent and she hates being treated like that. Her personality flaw would probably be her aggressiveness, and it's because she's trying her absolute best, although it feels fruitless.

Titus: He’s a bit attached to Colette, only because he doesn’t know anyone else in the school. But it's not only her, he's attached to many of his friends because he's afraid of being abandoned like he was before. He doesn't like being alone and he refuses to feel like that again. His personality flaws would be misplaced trust, he can be easily manipulated, and a bit of greed, it just stems from his abandonment issues.

[ 🐌 SNAIL: What’s their happy place? Do they have somewhere they can retreat to just chill out for a while? ]

Lumi: Her happy place has to be the Snowy Mountains. It’s where she grew up so it’s the place where she feels at home. She can retreat there, she just needs to summon something beforehand so that it can take her home. Once she’s there, she can go to a specific location so that she can rest and take a nap in. If she has shown this place to someone, they should feel honored because she hardly shows it to anyone.

Meditrina: She’s made her own happy place. Somehow, with the help of some of her friends, she’s able to transport to another place (using a specific object) that she has made her happy place. It’s full of flowers and plants and she can run around, relax, lounge about. It has books and other things in it so that she isn’t bored and she can take a deep breath. It’s a very secret place where only her closest friends can join her in.

Gale: It's got to be his room. His room is full of things he loves and when he really wants to be alone to chill, he locks it. He usually takes a nap because it obviously helps him relax or he paints. He's not an amazing painter but it's better than designing since it reminds him of all the work he has to do. This is his happy place, as simple as it is, but he loves it nonetheless.

Ignis: There's this treehouse he has made in a place that is supposedly hidden from everyone else. But the place is too far and if he doesn't feel like going there, it'd have to be Meditrina's room. It's very comfy and she never minds because they're both really good friends. He listens to music a lot and sometimes even falls asleep there. He loves her like a sister so this is obviously one of his two happy places.

Iris: She knows that there are days where she wants to be alone for the longest time and so she has created a specific place where it is reserved for her and anyone else she decides to let in (super rare). It is very dark when she walks in but then it glows blue and she immediately goes to a hammock. That hammock is the reason she is so chill and it calms her along with the classical music playing.

Navin: Honestly, it has to be the catwalk aka the area above the theater. It's ridiculous because it seems like his entire life is theater but this is the one place where he feels like he doesn't have to keep up his mask of extreme joy. It's also like a maze up there so unless someone really wanted to find him, he would not be found. So far, no teacher has found him.

Blanca: Her happy place is the Rose Garden. She's not a part of the Heartslabyul dorm, but it reminds her of her homeland. Not to mention, the deeper she goes, the more at home she feels. Her butterflies are always with her too so wherever they feel safe, she does also. It's the place where she does not have to think as much.

Colette: Her happy place is her home. As extravagant as it is, it's the place where she's grown up but she's brought many things from home that make her feel like her room is home. It's her happy place but if she can go back to her childhood home, she will. She also likes to chill with people that don't mind her sitting there and talking about anything and everything.

Titus: His happy place would have to be walking around in the city. It makes him feel like he's back home, even though he does not like to go back to it. He listens to music as he walks around and this is usually when he truly wants to be alone. His happy place would be with his loved ones and being with them if they let him.
