Note
also the first person to come to mind when you said someone stubborn enough to ignore aizawa’s glare was bakugo, I feel like that would stress aizawa out so bad
platonic yandere aizawa shouta iii
Fun fact my top three favourite characters (in no specific order) in bnha are Aizawa, Bakugo and Shigaraki, so this is perfect
Also I finished this before any of the other subjugation drabbles as requested, but I'm clearing out my drafts, so hopefully I'll be able to post a few more this week

Class 1a was up to something. Aizawa knew they were.
They weren’t good at being sneaky, and for the past two weeks, they’d been behaving strangely.
Ever since the class had seen you, he’d been slightly on edge, waiting for something to go wrong. And he knew that it would sooner or later.
Class 1a were disruptive and oftentimes insubordinate. They couldn’t follow the rules and they got into trouble more often than Aizawa could keep count of.
They were troublemakers.
Aizawa knew that.
Which is why he was so suspicious of them.
They had been perfectly behaved in lessons, quiet and diligent, completing every assignment he’d given to them. They hadn’t spoken out of turn or argued once within the past two weeks. Most suspiciously though, must have been the fact that they hadn’t once brought up the question of who you were again.
It made him uneasy.
It made him annoyed.
But instead of addressing the matter as he probably should have, he kept quiet, curious to see what exactly they were up to.
He found out by the end of that week.
****
“Okay sweetheart, I’m leaving now. Are you sure you don’t want to come with me? You’re more than welcome to, it won’t be long.”
You huff out a laugh. Aizawa was running errands and had been repeatedly questioning whether you wanted to come with him. You were sure he was trying to guilt trip you into joining him.
It might have worked.
It was working.
But you were a model student, as so, your homework and assignments had to come first - much to your father’s displeasure.
The only respite was that you’d be staying safely within the walls of UA, specifically in the apartment, which made your father feel much better about leaving you by yourself.
Sometimes you think he forgets that you’re a teenager – old enough to be home alone for a few hours.
“Yes, I’m sure dad. I’ll call you or Mr Yamada if there’s an emergency. I’ll see you later.”
He huffs, accepting that you wouldn’t change your mind.
The hug he draws you into is crushing and he presses your face into his chest. You feel his chest rumble as he lets out a laugh.
“Don’t let Hizashi hear you call him that, you know how much he hates it.”
You scowl slightly. The eclectic blond often insisted that you call him by his first name, or the ever-endearing title of 'Uncle Zashi', making a habit of reminding you every time you happened to accidentally ‘forget’. You enjoyed his company, but his persistent attitude grated on your nerves sometimes.
“Don’t you dare tell him.”
Aizawa laughs again before reminding you to stay safe and call him in the case of an emergency.
You bid him one last farewell before shutting and locking the door. Paranoia seemed to be one of your father’s defining traits when it came to you.
Fifteen minutes later, you’re set up in the living room, surrounded by snacks, stationary, and papers scattered over the floor and coffee table.
****
Three hours later, you decide to call it quits for the day, packing up your belongings and returning to the living room to flop down on to the couch.
You’d been laying on the couch, watching a rerun of some old movie your father enjoyed, when there was a knock at the door.
Thinking nothing of it, you haul yourself up and make your way to the door.
It could have been anyone - Midnight or Present Mic, here to keep you company or watch over you at your father’s request, or it could have been another teacher, here to drop off paperwork for your father. Perhaps it was your father himself, having forgotten his keys.
Living amongst a group of heroes and heroes-in-training makes you comfortable, and you don’t bother checking who is at the door before flinging it wide open.
Two boys and a girl, all around your own age stand before you. One of the boys and the girl look surprised, eyebrows rising, creasing their foreheads. The second boy remains impassive, his dual-coloured eyes trailing over you, head to toe.
“Can I help you?”
They continue to stare at you for a moment before the pink-skinned girl harshly elbows the blond boy next to her.
He exclaims in pain before clearing his throat and smiling widely.
“Hi there. I was wondering if Aizawa sensei is home?”
If your father had passed one trait on to you, it had to be his suspicious nature. You straighten slightly, nudging the door closed a few centimeters.
“Aizawa sensei is out running a few errands. He should be back soon - would you like to leave a message?”
The boy with the dual-coloured eyes leans forward slightly, his upper body now crossing over the threshold into your apartment.
“May we come in?”
Though he poses it as a question, he doesn’t wait for an answer, already pushing past you and into the hallway behind you.
Your protests fall on deaf ears, and the boy and girl still in the doorway seem to panic alongside you, scrambling in after him.
“Todoroki, you can’t just barge in like that!”
The dual-haired boy - Todoroki - ignores them and chooses to look around the apartment instead, taking in his surroundings with an air of disinterest.
“I have a question. Answer truthfully and we’ll leave.”
His two friends, still panickedly trying to urge him out of your house, still as he speaks. They stare at one another, then at Todoroki, before nodding and looking at you.
By now, you’re anxious and wary, eager to get them out. You take a deep, calming breath.
Doing as they say seems to be the best decision. You didn’t want to stir up trouble, and you definitely didn’t want your father or another teacher stumbling upon the scene.
“Fine, one question and then you’re gone.”
You cross your arms and press your mouth into a hard line, attempting to cover up your anxieties with an air of anger.
The three agree to your terms, Todoroki humming lightly before speaking.
“Is Mr Aizawa your father?”
It’s a loaded question, one you aren’t sure you want to answer.
While you and your father hadn’t tried to cover up the fact that you were his daughter, you also hadn’t gone out of your way to announce it. The fact that the three standing before you were so curious that they went as far as to basically break into your house to get an answer made you concerned.
Their eagerness made you believe that it would be best to lie. Then again, what would you tell them - being honest may be the only way to get them to leave without a fuss.
You nod slowly, hesitantly.
“Yes, he is.”
While the boy and girl let out noises of disbelief, Todoroki doesn’t seem to be surprised.
“See guys, told you.”
The blonde boy splutters for a moment, shoulders slumped in defeat.
“Is that all?” You ask apprehensively, still tense and nervous.
An unspoken question lingers in the air.
Will you leave now?
Todoroki nods, thanking you before calling for his two companions.
At the door, he pauses, turning to you one last time.
“Can I ask that you keep this visit a secret, just for a while. Don’t tell Aizawa sensei that we were here. Please.”
His demeanour is serious, though it seems like more of a demand than a request.
You’re already nodding in agreement.
“Yeah, sure.”
Regardless of whether he asked you or not, you wouldn’t have told your father of their visit. The last thing you needed was for his paranoia to be proven correct.
What he didn’t know wouldn’t hurt him, and he definitely didn’t need to know that three students - three of his students - had been to his home to see you while he was away. Worse, that they knew you were his daughter.
If he found out, you’d never hear the end of it. In fact, you were slightly afraid he may never let you leave the house again.
No, you definitely would not be telling him about their visit.
By the time your father returns home hours later, you’ve scrubbed the memory of the three students from your mind, and he seems none the wiser.
The two of you have dinner and talk for a bit before going to bed.
You make no mention of the day’s events, and he doesn’t ask.
****
For the first time in what could have been years, you were in trouble. Big trouble.
From the moment you entered the apartment, it had seemed eerily still, too quiet to be natural.
When you first entered the living room, you saw your father sitting with his back towards you, posture straight and still. He didn’t turn to greet you and you feel a growing sense of unease when he tells you to sit down.
“How was your day?”
You’ve known your father long enough to recognize his tone, to know that he’s not asking because he’s actually interested.
Right now, your father, the ever stoic Shouta Aizawa, was furious.
“Answer me.”
“It was fine, classes were good.”
“Hmm. How about yesterday? What did you do yesterday?”
You’re wringing your hands now, fingers gripping at each other in a feeble attempt to mask how obviously your hands are shaking.
“Y-Yesterday was good, same as today, classes and whatnot...”
You trail off awkwardly, unsure of what exactly he wants to hear. You don’t ask though, some sense of self preservation telling you to keep your mouth shut.
“And the past weekend? How was your day on Saturday. You had some time alone, what exactly did you get up to then?”
Staring down at the floor, you clear your throat and try to think of an excuse.
“Ah, well, I got a few assignments done and made dinner.”
His hand on your shoulder almost makes you jump.
“Sweetheart, look at me.”
You don’t want to.
You don’t want to look at him, you don’t want to see his anger or disappointment or whatever other negative emotion lays there at the moment.
But his grip tightens slightly on your shoulder, not enough to hurt, just enough to grab your attention. So you close your eyes and take a deep breath before looking up and meeting your father’s gaze.
He’s angry. Angry and disappointed and everything that you feared he would be. But most of all he looks concerned, worry pinching at the juncture between his eyebrows and at the corners of his mouth.
“What happened while I was out?”
You weren’t often emotional, and you definitely didn’t cry. Crying was pointless, it didn’t change anything.
But you had to bite your bottom lip and press your nails into your palms to stop yourself from bursting into tears in that moment.
It rarely happened that you kept anything from your father. You told him everything, no matter how big or small.
Truthfully, keeping a secret this big for as long as you had had been weighing you down. You felt guilty. Granted, you weren’t exactly lying to him, but it pained you to hide something like this from your father.
And so you cracked.
A few hot tears rolled down your cheeks as you sniffled, wiping at your nose with the sleeve of your jacket.
“Three of your students came to the apartment. They asked to see you but I said you were out.”
Aizawa’s grip on your shoulder had lessened, his arm wrapping around you, shifting you closer to him.
“Is that all?”
You debated lying to him, only for a moment. It technically wouldn’t be lying, you just wouldn’t be telling the whole truth.
The idea deflated quickly once his hand came up to brush away a few tears, his thumb gently rubbing at the soft skin under your eye.
“T-They just asked if I’m your daughter or not, they left after that.”
He hums again, staring at you for a few seconds longer. It feels as if he’s pining you in place, pressuring you into talking. Evidently, you have nothing else to say.
“Can you tell me what they looked like sweetie?”
****
You imagined that this is how criminals felt.
Under any other circumstances, it might have been funny.
Before you, lined up in somewhat of an identity parade, were a the three students from your father’s class, along with a few other guilty-looking students.
Three girls, five boys, all standing pin straight, facing forward.
In the room next door stood the rest of the class, the remaining twelve students standing in silence.
Your father’s fury, evidently, had not been aimed at you.
Well, not fully.
He was admittedly quite upset with you for not being truthful with him, but his anger was mainly aimed at his students for interfering with his personal life. With his family.
“Sweetheart, I’ve seen how high strung you’ve been over the past few days. I was concerned, but I didn’t want to overwhelm you so I gave you some space. But today one of my students let something slip and I put together the fact that they must have had something to do with the way you’ve been acting recently.”
You didn’t want to outwardly expose the three students who had come to see you that day, but your father had threatened to punish the entire class, so you’d caved and described them as best you could.
So here they stood, not once making eye contact with you.
"Go on," your father said, staring them down with a harsh glare, one like you'd never seen before. You knew your father could be strict with his students, but this was something else.
They all bowed forward at the hip, staring straight at the ground as they spoke in sync.
"We're sorry."
You stand in stunned silence for a few short moments, before shaking your head.
"Oh, um, it's fine. Thank you for the apology. And I'm sorry too."
The blond-haired student from before tries to raise his head, a wide smile on his face before your father's hand meets his neck, holding his head down.
"Did I say you could look up?"
"Sorry sensei."
Aizawa hums, glancing at you.
"Sweetheart, you can leave now. I'll see you later."
As much as you'd like to argue, you don't. Instead, you nod and bow to the eight students before you, bidding them goodbye before making for the door.
****
Aizawa couldn't find you.
He'd stayed behind to have a little chat with a few of his students, intent on returning home to you afterwards, but now, fifteen minutes later, you were gone.
You weren't in the 1A dorms and you weren't at home.
There was nowhere else that you could be, so where had you gone?
He begrudgingly made his way back to the dorms, resigning himself to spending his afternoon with the troublesome students of class 1A.
Only, he didn't have to go very far to find you.
Not with the small crowd of students trying, and failing to hide in the bushes next to the dorms.
He sighs heavily, walking up behind them silently.
Crouching down, he whispers, "What are you looking at?"
The yelps Denki and Sero let out are both panicked and silent, though they quickly scramble back to where they were, shushing Aizawa with flapping hands.
He quirks an eyebrow. Whatever they were spying on had to be interesting if they were brave enough to shush him.
Aizawa shrugs and cranes his neck to see what has them and their friends so intruiged, and-
Absolutely not.
There, sat on a bench in the hidden garden next to 1A's dorm room, was Bakugo Katsuki.
Accompanied by you, his daughter.
And unless his eyes deceived him - was he blushing?
Having seen enough, Aizawa stands and pushes between the students clustered behind the bushes.
He calls your name, and you look up with a start, eyes wide and dazed, your cheeks strangely flushed.
"Dad?"
You and Bakugo both jump up, and you head towards Aizawa while Bakugo slips away.
"What are you doing here? I thought you were going straight home? And why were you with Bakugo?"
You laugh awkwardly, deflecting his questions as you grab his arm and head towards your own apartment, away from the 1A dorms.
"Sorry dad, I got a bit caught up. Hey, how'd the interrogation go?"
You were trying to distract him. Aizawa knew that.
But your father was nothing if not willing, so he let you get away with it, making a mental note to look into what you were doing with Bakugo Katsuki of all people later.
****
Of all the students in your father's class, Bakugo was the one he thought would stay away from you. Far away.
Unfortunately, nothing seemed to be going his way lately, and Aizawa was infuriated to learn that Bakugo had taken a liking to you.
While he may have his own strong suits, he was definitely not the type of person your father would want you to end up with. Honestly, if he had it his way, you would remain happily single and by his side until both of you died.
But those plans were put on the back burner for now.
He learnt, from a collection of camera feeds and fearful student reports, that you had indeed been on your way back home after your father's intervention, but you'd gotten caught up exploring the grounds around the dorm area.
No one could fault you for that - it was Aizawa's fault really, he never let you out on your own, especially not to explore.
It was something he'd have to work on at a later date.
While on your little adventure, you'd run into a feisty blond.
Bakugo had been tasked with clearing away the autumn leaves around the 1A dorms, a minor punishment for some or other misdemeanour, and he'd caught your attention.
That wasn't unusual - you were curious when you wanted to be. It was a trait that your father both loved and loathed.
What was unusual was that Bakugo had played along.
Aizawa knew that Bakugo knew you were his daughter. That meant that he knew not to snap at you or treat you with his usual brutish attitude as he did with his classmates.
He knew that, but he couldn't understand why Bakugo had taken such a liking to you. Aizawa knew you were perfect, but he also knew that he was biased when it came to his opinion of you.
Well, he thought, I'll just have to ask him myself.
****
For the first time in all his years as a teacher, Shouta Aizawa was stunned to the point of silence.
He never imagined the conversation would take a turn like this.
"Sensei?"
He shakes his head, trying to rid himself of the heavy fog over his mind as he throws the quizzical blond a hard look.
"No."
"No?"
He'd never felt any genuine anger or violence towards any of his students, but this-
"Well sensei, we met a while ago. She- I knew she was your daughter, so I tried to keep my distance but, well..."
"I'm sure you understand what I mean."
"We've known each other for a while. "
"If you'll allow it-"
The conversation replayed in his head as a series of broken sentences and snapshots.
He felt off-kilter, unsure of himself in the worst way possible.
The only thing he knew was that, at this moment, someone was threatening to come between you and him - threatening to take you away from him, to steal you from him.
"No," he said sharply, "Stay away from my daughter."
It was Bakugo's turn to look shocked, though he was faster to calm himself than Aizawa was.
"Sensei, is this to keep her safe, or because you don't want to share her?"
It's a strangely phrased question, one that would puzzle anyone. Anyone but Aizawa.
He understood exactly what the hotheaded child in front of him meant by the word 'share'.
It spelt trouble in more ways than one.
"No. You asked and that's my answer. Now go back to your dorm," he says, waving him out without another word.
Bakugo nods and leaves without further argument, not once looking back.
Aizawa slumped back in his seat.
Bakugo knew what you meant to his teacher, beyond what most people thought they knew - he understood the lengths he'd go to to keep you safe and happy. The fact that he'd left without a fight proved as much.
More concerning than that though, had to be the fact that Bakugo was the same as him. He had the same unsettling urge to be with you, to be the only source of your attention.
Aizawa had seen it in his eyes, but heard it moreso in his words.
Share.
No, he wouldn't share you. Not with anyone.

How act two of The Sound of Music might foreshadow Good Omens season three ~
I was reading this post about Aziraphale’s ball idea coming from The Sound of Music rather than Jane Austen, and remembered that I’d meant to make a post about parallels between Aziraphale and Maria. The romantic plot of Good Omens has a lot in common with the plot of The Sound of Music, and season two just so happens to leave off at the very end of act one. So, is there a chance that act two could provide some clues about season three? I find the idea very compelling, so here’s my analysis of the movie and how I think it compares to what we’ve seen so far, as well as what we can hope to see in season three.
In the beginning we have Maria at the abbey, where it is made clear that she does not fit in because she has a hard time abiding by the rules. She also has a tendency to prioritize the natural/material world over her spiritual duties, which is represented by the opening song (“The Sound of Music”), the singing of which literally makes her late to return to the abbey. This has obvious parallels to Aziraphale’s difficulties conforming to Heaven’s way of life, as well as his worldly attachments.
(A fun bonus parallel is in the song “Maria,” when the nuns say “she’s always late for everything / except for every meal.” Aziraphale-coded fr.)
Maria leaves the abbey to be the governess to the von Trapp family, and this is where she begins to really learn about herself as an adult outside of a tightly controlled religious environment. She still doesn’t conform to the new world she lives in, but begins learning how to retain her selfhood without feeling ashamed of doing so. This period is obviously a parallel for Aziraphale’s time on Earth—although the time frames are quite different, the same general lessons are learned.
At the end of act one, as addressed in the linked post, there is a ball where the Captain and Maria dance, and this is the moment where Maria discovers her feelings for the Captain. Although this scene is an obvious parallel for the Jane Austen ball scene, I think it’s honestly more similar to the kiss in the final 15. Maria, mid-dance, stares into the Captain’s eyes, freezes, and backs away, saying she can’t remember the dance anymore. The Baroness is watching from the doorway, and when Maria runs upstairs to get changed for dinner, the Baroness follows her.
Up in Maria’s bedroom, the Baroness confronts Maria about her feelings for the Captain, which Maria denies initially. The Baroness convinces her of her own feelings and of the Captain’s, and essentially encourages her to run away—I’ll get into why in a second. Without a word to anyone, Maria returns to the abbey. This is a super obvious parallel to the end of season two, with the Baroness acting almost in the role of the Metatron by pulling Maria aside and reminding her of her “duty.”
Now into the more speculative side of things, trying to think of how The Sound of Music might offer hints as to what’s coming in season three.
When Maria returns to the abbey, she remains in constant silent prayer for the first several days before being called upon by the Abbess. Maria confesses that she ran away because she was frightened, and admits that she had accidentally developed an attraction for the Captain. She gives her reason for not telling the Captain about her feelings and choosing to return the abbey: “I was there on God’s errand. Oh, I couldn’t stay, I just couldn’t. I’m ready at this moment to take my vows.” This sense of misplaced duty might not be all of it, but again, we’ll get to that in a second.
The Abbess responds with probably more kindness than we’d expect from anyone in Heaven: she says that romantic love can be holy, that Maria needs to discover how God intended her to spend her love, and assures her that “if you love this man, it doesn’t mean you love God less.” With this, she commands Maria to return.
While this may seem incongruous with Heaven’s general business model and something unlikely to be paralleled in season three, I think it’s important to think back to the conversation at the end of season one immediately following the failed apocalypse, when Crowley asks, “Angel, what if the Almighty planned it like this, all along? From the very beginning?” People joke about God trying to set them up from the beginning of time, but I don’t know that it necessarily has to be a joke. The question of God’s ineffable plan is a constant throughout the series—the whole point is that it’s impossible to say what exactly God intends.
This is the exact same conflict Maria faces in the scene with the Abbess. When she objects to returning, she says, “But I pledged my life to God, I — I’ve pledged my life to his service.” The Abbess rejects the idea that this is the only possible plan that could have been intended for Maria, saying, “You have to live the life you were born to live.” Perhaps there will be something similar in season three, some way in which God communicates the same thing to Aziraphale—that loving Crowley doesn’t mean loving Her any less, that their love is holy, and that the life he is meant to live is not one pent up behind heavenly walls, but rather out in the world with Crowley.
After Maria returns, she’s reunited with the children, the Captain and the Baroness break off their engagement, lots of little plot things. What I’m interested in is the song “Something Good” (which I would just like to emphasize is sung in a gazebo... anyway). The song introduces an additional reason for Maria’s departure—namely, that she did not feel worthy of the Captain’s love, a sentiment that he returns. They both come to the conclusion, though, that they must have done “something good” to deserve having found each other. Here are some lyrics:
For here you are, standing there, loving me
Whether or not you should
So somewhere in my youth or childhood
I must have done something good.
The basic theme of the song is self forgiveness, and the acknowledgement that past imperfections do not make a person unworthy of being loved. Rather, both characters here have felt themselves to be inadequate, but view the other’s love as a sign that they must, in some way, be good.
I love the idea that Crowley and Aziraphale might have a moment like this, because I think it would be massive in terms of their own self acceptance. For Crowley, Aziraphale’s love (and possibly God’s endorsement?) is proof that his fall did not make him irredeemable, that he remains a being who can love and be loved in return. For Aziraphale, Crowley’s love is an affirmation that he can honestly be forgiven for his transgressions, rather than marked forever by them (like removing the stain from his coat, allowing it to be forgotten).
Unfortunately, the movie does not end with their marriage—they still have to escape Austria after the Captain is called to serve by the Nazis. I think we can assume the Nazis parallel Hell, and say that perhaps Aziraphale and Crowley really will have to establish “their own side.” Maria has to break free of the abbey, and the Captain has to break free of the Nazis. They do this by running away, and I’m not sure Aziraphale and Crowley would ever flee Earth in the wake of the Second Coming, but I will say that it does immediately evoke the idea of the pair running away to Alpha Centauri. I do think that given the “they are bad at their jobs and did very little to seriously prevent Armageddon” joke from season one, it would be a little funny if humanity managed to save itself during a momentary retreat from Aziraphale and Crowley.
I don’t mean to imply that the blueprint of season three is found in act two of The Sound of Music, but I do think that the movie being canonically a favorite of Heaven’s, the recurring theme of the ineffability of God’s plan, and the sheer number of parallels within the plot so far make it a fair place to look for clues. Who’s to say that God’s plan wasn’t hidden in plain sight?

“You Spoil Me”
Tumblr media
Featuring Time and Wild
Sorry if they’re OOC! I really tried to be honest! Also I know in my last post I mentioned Warriors being here but I couldn’t think of anything for him. Very sorry to the Warriors fans for that!
The way each hero spoiled you left you breathless every time. If only you knew why they poured their attention on you so much.
Time
You honestly didn’t expect the older hero to buy you a new tunic when the chain made it to town. Yours had been sewn and patched up so much over the group’s travels that there was probably no fabric from your original one at this point. It was quite the relief hearing about a clothing shop that was in the nearest town that you almost begged Time to let you guys take a quick detour. Although just the mention of needing a new tunic was enough for Time to let you guys stop there. He didn’t want his darling to be sad. When you made it to the small town he offered to look around with you, making sure you wouldn’t leave them and to help look for the clothing shop. “Here it is, let’s see if they have anything you like (y/n).” Now there you were, offering to pay for the tunic and 3 extras he made you grab (“Just in case anything were to happen” he had told you). “Now my darling, there’s no need to argue. I’ll gladly pay for it, after all, you’re giving all of us a small break by bringing us to town,” The older hero smiled down at you as he spoke. You smiled back at him at the gesture, “Okay, but do I need to pay you back later?” “Only in some hugs dear.” You giggle at his comment, unaware of the dark look he had started to give the man working at the shop. The man had been eyeing you up the entire time you two were there. It was truly disgusting how that man could stare at you so, you deserved the world and more, that man could never give it to you. Looks like he had a job to do later.
Wild
You let out a small gasp at the cozy interior of Wild’s home, for some odd reason you had expected it to be more messy. You put that thought aside though as you looked at the nice dishes and platters on his dinner table. “Oh this is so cozy Wild! No wonder you love it here so much,” you smiled at him as you spoke. “Yeah it’s really nice here. I got it pretty cheap too, although even after I bought it I still had to pay a good bit for this furniture and these weapon holders,” he said as he looked around the house. You looked over at him with a smile before you started to laugh a little, “Well since we’re here now, when’s dinner?” Wild laughed at your question, “Well, I was going to take you and the group around the village first before we ate.” “Oh okay. Well let’s go then! I’m about to starve! Also, what about the others?” “They’re already “exploring” Hateno, so no need to worry about them,” he said. Why are they worried about the others? It’s our alone time. He let you grab his hand as he led you back out his house and across the small bridge connecting it and Hateno. “So, are you taking me on a tour or did you trick me into running errands for the Old Man for you?” Wild chuckled, “Neither actually, I’d thought I’d spoil you. Maybe buy you something or bring you to a little spot to relax for a bit. You’ve been a great help around here.” “Oh, you really don’t have to Link.” You called him his name. You never do that with the others. “No, I want to.” By this time, you two had already made it to the main area of town. He led you through the main path, taking you towards the ancient lab he had mentioned was there. He was silently praying that neither of you would run into the others. They would definitely ruin his treat for you, and you could barely ever say no to the other heroes’ ideas of fun for the group. “Are you taking me to the lab you had talked about?” You looked at him after asking, curiosity painting your face. “No. There’s a small path leading to the beach near here. I want to take you there. It probably looks different from the beaches you know of, but I’m hoping you love it just as much.” He had a small smile on his face as he spoke softly. You let him lead you up to the split path and down towards the beach. You noticed the weather there was a bit gloomy, but the beach was still breathtaking. When you reached the sandy shore you instantly bent down to take your shoes off and ran towards the water. “Come get in the water with me Wild!” You laughed as you spoke, kicking your feet in the water. The Champion smiled at your excitement jogging over to the shore and getting ready to take his boots off. If only you knew how he felt.

“Will You Marry Me?” - Sidon x reader
Tumblr media
“I have no idea how to word this and I’m so sorry if it’s a bad request but randomly I just thought of Sidon and hylian reader being friends when they were younger and Sidon asking her to marry him or something (the zora way), and she just responds with “if you can ask me that same question in a hundred years, I’ll marry you” and then they meet up again a hundred years later cause we started traveling with link and now they are sitting in the same spot and Sidon asks the same question😭 I know this is really bad but like” - anon
oh. mY. GOD! THE FEELS!! the friendship. the passing of time. everything. everything about this request is great. trust me, you did the lord’s work here by sending this in :’)
i had this all written out, and wanted to wait to post this one tomorrow. however, i’m feeling emotional tonight, and i felt posting it was needed.
i hope you enjoy (because this one is probably one of my favorites) <333
y/n - your name
“When we’re old enough, will you marry me?”
you were just kids
play pretending around the Bank of Wishes
but he wasn’t playing at the moment
he was serious about his statement
“Sidon… Zora’s age a little differently than Hylians…”
“I know…”
you sighed
“If you can ask me that again in a hundred years, I will.”
Sidon laughed
he knew your answer would have been different if Hylian’s and Zora’s aged the same
however, he also knew that you were both too young to get married regardless
time passed
things changed
but your friendship never faded
never
but then
you were put into stasis
Purah and Impa thought it was best, since you were technically helping Link on his quest to save Hyrule
you wake up in a foggy haze
hardly remembering anything
‘Where am I?’
as you venture along though, your memories start to return
even before you remember Sidon and Zora’s Domain, you’re heading that way
because your body just… leads you
it remembers the things you don’t
and here you are
standing in the domain’s center
hoping that someone could lead you in the right direction
lead you to remembering why you’re here
and there’s Sidon
Vah Ruta had already been taken care of
and he was running his daily errands
when he sees you, he drops EVERYTHING in his arms
he runs to you
wrapping his arms so tightly around your body
as if you’d been missing for a century
to him, though, you had been
“Y/n!”
he’s holding you so tightly
tears streaming down his cheeks and into your hair
you’re still trying to remember
but his touch feels so familiar to you
the Zoras in the area are starting
but Sidon doesn’t care
“I’m so happy you’re safe.”
it takes some time to re-familiarize yourself with the domain
and Sidon is more than happy to help you regain your memories
he’s so understanding
and patient
oH HYLIA this man is patient
he tells you stories of your past
and stories of after you’d left
he makes everything seem so crystal clear
and once you fully regain a sense of self
and once your memories have returned
you remember what he said all those years ago
but you don’t say anything
because you know he couldn’t possibly remember something so small and silly
but still
you find yourselves sat at the Bank of Wishes
wading your feet in the water
your head laying against Sidon’s arm
and he smiles at you
“You know I love you, right?”
and you smile with a light, cheerful laugh
“I do.”
and he’s silent for a moment
he stares out into the water, thinking
“Do you remember what I asked the last time we were here? I’m sure it’s a bit fuzzy, but I wan—”
“I remember, Sidon.”
and his focus shifts to you
his eyes are wide
and he looks as if he’s seen a ghost
“I remember it well, actually. I remember the lotus flowers being in full bloom, just like they are now; how clear the sky was; how… how young we were…”
he’s silent still
“I remember.”
“Good.”
your focus on the water now
you’re half expecting him to make a joke about how young and naive the both of you were
but
he doesn’t
“My feelings for you haven’t faded, you know…”
and you simply nod, still staring at the waves in the river
he caresses your face
“Y/n…”
you turn to face him
and his eyes gleaming from the sunlight’s reflection on the water
he stares at you for just a moment before placing his lips on yours
he’s soft
he’s warm
inviting
he pulls away slowly, his hand still placed on your cheek
“Is your answer still the same?”
you don’t speak
he knows your answer
but he still wants to ask
“Y/n, will you marry me?”

Simpleman AU: Marinette's Voicemail
So in my last post about this AU, I mentioned that Marc tried to call Marinette thirty times after being left alone with the kids for WAY over an hour like she promised but kept getting sent to voicemail. Today while I was at work, I started thinking about what the voice messages would sound like as Marc desperately tries over and over to get a hold of Marinette. I wasn't going to write out thirty voice messages since I figured it would get repetitive and boring, but I did write out the highlights to give you a general idea of how Marc slowly breaks down with each attempt. I apologize in advance if this sucks.
Marinette’s Voicemail: You have thirty-one new messages. Playing messages…
Voicemail #1:
Marc: Hey, Marinette! It’s Marc. I hope everything’s going okay with Adrien’s costume. The kids are doing fine. Everything’s fine. I was just wondering if you happen to be on your back now. Not that there’s any need to rush back that is! Take your time! It’s just been a little over when you said you would be back and I just wanted to check in to see if everything was okay on your end. But you’re probably busy finishing up Adrien’s costume right now, so I’ll get out of your hair. If you could maybe call me back when you start heading back, that would be great. Thanks.
Voicemail #2:
Marc: Hi, Marinette! It’s Marc, again. Everything’s okay over here. No need to worry about the kids, they’re doing okay. Just checking in to see how you’re doing. I…uh noticed that you are staying a bit longer than expected…n-not that there’s a problem with that or anything. Please take all the time you need. Just please be sure to call me once you have finished up if that’s okay.
Voicemail #5:
Marc: U-Uh…hey Marinette. It’s me again checking in. I-I’m sorry if I keep bothering you…just wondering if you’re coming back soon. I-I mean…things are still fine…ish. The kids are getting a bit… “restless” and I may have sent Nathaniel out on an errand so I am kind of by myself…but everyone’s still alright. Please call me back as soon as you can.
Voicemail #10:
Marc: H-Hiiiii Marin-...NO! Manon put that down! Ella! Etta! I told you two to stop running in the house! No, no, no, no! Chris, I said no touching my mama’s bat!
Voicemail #11:
Marc: H-Hey Marinette…sorry about that last message. The children have gotten a tad bit more “restless” since the last time I called. Any chance you are almost back and just forgot to call me? I mean…that’s totally fine. I wouldn’t be upset or anything but if you do get this message…please call me.
Voicemail #15:
Marc: Marinette….heeeyyyyy…so I know I said in my last few messages to “take all the time you need”, but by any chance would you be able to cut your flirting with Adrien short and come back, please? I would really appreciate some help, please. I mean…things are still somewhat under control here, but I could use a hand…
Voicemail #16:
Marc: MARINETTE!!!!! EVERYTHING’S OUT OF CONTROL!!!!! PLEASE HELP ME, I DON’T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO!!!!
Voicemail #18:
Marc: (Marc called Marinette accidentally while he was banging his head on the phone) Idiot! Marc, why do you have to be so stupid, stupid, STUPID!!!!! You just HAD to kick Nath out of the house! “Oh, don’t worry, Nath! I can handle these kids and Marinette will be back soon anyway. I’ll be fine, I swear.”. Idiot! Idiot! IDIOT!!!! What were you thinking?!
Voicemail #19:
Marc: Um…hey Marinette. Uhh…can we just pretend that the last call didn’t happen? Yeah, I think I might have butt-dialed you by mistake while I was talking about…uh…something else. I-I swear nothing that I said was directed towards you. Anyway, please call me back soon.
Voicemail #21:
Marc: MARINETTE! PICK UP THE FUCKING PHONE ALREADY!!!!!
Voicemail #23:
Marc: MARINETTE, I SWEAR IF I GET SENT TO VOICEMAIL AGAIN, I WILL CALL ADRIEN MYSELF IF I HAVE TO AND TELL HIM HOW YOU FEEL!!!!! DO NOT TEST ME! ANSWER THE FUCKING PHONE!!!!!
Voicemail #24:
Marc: H-Hey…Marinette. Look, I’m sorry if I was rude during my last couple of calls. I-I am just feeling a bit…overwhelmed and a little stressed…please don’t hate me. I swear, I wasn’t seriously going to tell Adrien. Please just call me back already…I-I…don’t know how much longer I can hold out for…
Voicemail #29:
Marc: M-Marinette…I-I’m at my l-limit…I-I don’t know what else to do! Everything is not okay! Everything is falling apart! Everything is CHAOS!!!! The girls and Chris are running wild and I don’t know how to make them stop! (Marc’s voice starts to break) Aimé is never like this! H-He’s…a-always so well behaved! He’s such a good kid! Aimé! I-I…love you s-so…much and I’m s-sorry if I never tell you enough how much of a good boy you are…
Aimé: Marc, are you sad?
Voicemail #30:
Marc: (shaky, hyperventilating breaths and sobbing are heard)......
Aimé: Marinette? It’s Aimé. Can you please call my big brother? He’s very upset right now.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Bonus⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Voicemail #31:
Hello, Marinette. I know that you are busy foolishly attempting to flirt with Adrien, so I’ll make this short. I’ve got a message…no, a warning for you all right. There is no more Marc! Reverser is back in town! And I’m coming for you, bitch! See you soon…(evil laughter)
Marinette’s Voicemail: End of messages…
So yeah...Marinette's screwed. Please feel free to share your thoughts and opinions. I'll also answer any questions regarding this post or this AU in general if you have any.

Not gonna lie this is gonna be pretty fluffy. I’m needing sweet lol

Warnings: 18+, post show sex that’s passionate but pornographic, AFAB body parts in this but I tried to keep it sans pronouns, degrading sex nicknames and dirty talk, bareback

Now, is a friends with benefits relationship with the lead singer of one of the most popular rock n roll bands to grace the stage in the 21st century a good idea? Probably not. In the grand scheme of things he has an army of loyal fans willing to take up their pitchforks should they find out you hurt “their” curly haired vocalist. He’s also always in the public eye, touring the world constantly, and nose deep in a journal or book like writing is his religion.
Has saying yes to him also been the best decision you’ve ever made in your life? Most certainly yes… and you wouldn’t change it for the world.
The day he asked was a normal day. You had to run some errands and, hating to go alone, you asked Josh if he’d like to join you. He responded ‘Do you even have to ask I’ll be at your house in 10,’ and the two of you headed off shopping.
Unnaturally, Josh was quiet and bashful the entire trip. Not once did he make an innuendo clad joke or chat up every person he could. No, he stayed close to your side like a puppy, arm wrapped through yours. It was cute just how soft and sweet he was being.
It wasn’t until the two of you returned home that he finally opened up on his unusual behavior…
“Look,” he starts, rubbing at the hair in his chin, “I really do like you and I want to continue spending time with you,”
Okay you’re nervous now, but you decide to hear him out…
“…but I want to share more of myself with you and I’m just not in the right mindset for a relationship right now. Not while the band is still finding it’s footing.” Josh wraps his arms around himself, fingers splaying across his shoulder blades. He always has a way of lengthening his sentences when he’s nervous about what he’s talking about. Shifting from foot to foot, playing with his hair, he says, “Is it selfish of me to ask to enter into a friends with benefits situation? Because I need you in my life, but I don’t have the ability right now to give you the time and energy you deserve, but if I don’t have the get to be intimate with you I’m going to lose my mind.”
You stare at your friend in surprise, your jaw lax as the normally energetic man bashfully asks something you always kind of hoped he’d ask one day. Setting down the groceries on the table you turn to look at him, “How tightly were you holding that in?” You ask, teasing him a little in the hopes to calm his nerves.
It works; a playful grin pulls at his lips, “So hard I was clenching my core I was holding it in so hard.” Josh makes a silly face imitating him walking around with his core clenched, playing it up by walking around like an old man.
Your laughter fills the kitchen and the bright look that overtakes his eyes and face turns your entire nervous system to mush. Unable to help it you come over to him, cupping his face in both your hands and pull him into a kiss… Your first kiss together.
After a mind-meltingly long lip lock you’re sure took hours from your day, but really only robbed you of 5 minutes; Josh pulls back and presses his forehead to yours, hands mirroring yours and cupping your face he quietly hums out, “So is that a yes?”
With a nod, a mischievous grin, and quick jot down the hall to your bedroom the two of you christen your new step immediately, celebrating this change in your current relationship. And leaving you incredibly glad you didn’t buy anything perishable .
It’s been 3 months since then. The boys have been doing back to back dates on their Dreams in Gold tour; and you have been watering all their plants and feeding their cats (Jake seems to have a small family of them that have happily taken up residency in his garden. Much to you, Jake, and the cats’ delight.)
You and Josh agreed the two of you could continue to date around and see other people, not that you had done anything of the sort. Missing your best friend and his brothers has taken up the majority of your brain space as you work and continue living your life while the boys are off living their dreams. You chat with Josh daily, he sends you poems and song lyrics, asking for your input, sharing snippets and tidbits of their trips and telling you all about the history and the stories.
Friends with benefits in a way that neither of you had originally meant or realized. You’ve become friends whose benefits are in the form of words and time and sharing life. The sexscapades that have happened are great too, but he’s been away a lot since the two of you struck your new deal. The two of you crave each other the way a fish craves water, necessary in a way both primal and conscious.
Perhaps that’s why you’re hauling ass out of the airport to meet the boy’s manager who pulls you into a tight hug and begins filling you in on how you’re gonna surprise Josh the boys tonight. You listen intently, allowing them to lead you to the car.
The car ride to the venue is full of you and their manager chatting about the hijinks the boys have gotten themselves into. You laugh so hard that upon arrival your stomach is cramping and the two of you end up laughing hard about that which adds even more time as the two of you lay limply in your seats gathering yourselves.
It isn’t until their tour manager knocks on the driver window that you realize 15 minutes have passed and you’re late to surprising the boys Josh. The two of you snort and quickly leave the vehicle rushing inside to assume your positions.
You avoid the boys entirely, the plan being to hide you in the balcony side and surprise Josh the boys after their set. Their manager sets you up with them in the balcony seats. The show goes by spectacularly, building an energy of love and magic in the venue.
You spend most of the show with your jaw dropped, eyes wide and sparkling as you watch the man you now know you love do what he loves. Tears slip from your eyes at the realization and like a strike of fate, Josh’s eyes meet yours, even up in the balcony.
The man deserves credit for not letting it slip how surprised and excited he is to see you. Instead his eyes alight with a new kind of fire, his performance heightening further (if that’s even possible) and the crowd absolutely loves it. His eyes continue to find you. You know he knows your there and it only makes you more excited to see him.
“Can we go side stage,” you whisper to their manager (and you’re new friend), “I need to be closer.”
They smile at you endearingly, rubbing your back. “I’m sorry but not until they start the encore. I’m worried if you’re side stage Josh won’t go up to finish out the show. He’s missed you a lot.”
Your heart flips and you whip back around to watch them, eyes wide and starry as they meet his which are equally as dreamy.
He mentally calls out to you telling you to come down to him.
You don’t know why but the urge to jump from the balcony and into his arms claws it’s way into your chest and you look at their manager desperately. If you don’t get closer to him you may explode then and there…
They sigh and stand, holding their hand out for you. You take it and they lead you up the stairs and towards the employee entrance that leads backstage.
You’re practically vibrating with excitement, the halls a blur as you race with the boys’ manager through them to the stage area. Their manager pulls you into Greta’s dressing room and tells you to sit and relax while the boys finish up.
The last 15 minutes of the show seem to crawl by. You watch on one of the monitors in the green room and grin the entire time, eyes trailing Josh every time he pops up on screen. It’s not long until they’re saying goodnight and heading off stage.
Josh races off the stage the second he can, feet carrying him as quickly as they can to you, needing to hold you and make sure you’re actually there. ‘I hope it’s really who I want it to be,’ he thinks, desperate to see you, ‘please let it be who I want it to be.’
From the green room you hear a collection of hollers and “woah!”s as Josh tears through the halls to the green room. When he gets just down the hall from it he sees your boot clad feet crossed in front of you on the coffee table, your favorite concert backpack sitting on the floor next to the table.
Like an energy drink that pushes Josh faster he shoots down the hall. Soon enough he’s leaning over you and pulling you into the sweetest, most passionate kiss the two of you have ever shared. The hair above his lips tickles your nose and you note just how much you missed the feeling. His smell invades your senses and the smell of sweat has your brain jumping straight into the gutter.
Josh must sense your thoughts through the kiss because he smirks and pulls his lips millimeters from yours to rasp, “Where’s your head at, Sugar?” The lust has his voice deeper than usual, accent thicker with the want spilling from every ounce of his body.
You’re proud of him for holding back and not taking you right then and there in front of everyone. In fact, the only reason he pulls away at all is his mother clearing her throat from the doorway.
“Save it, kids. I haven’t even met this wonderful person you’ve been telling me about and yet I’ve already seen you making out. I’d like to take a couple steps back, if that’s alright.” She holds her hands up as if to tell you two to slow down, stepping in to grab a water bottle for each of the four boys, passing one to Josh then to each of the other boys as they walk through the door.
The next couple hours are a blur between the boys changing and packing up, rushing to the bus and taking some time for fans; it isn’t until you’re sitting in Josh’s hotel room, watching him walk around and gesture wildly as he chats your ear off that you’re actually sitting in the same room as him for the first time in months. Tears prick at your eyes, you stand and make your way to him.
With a firm grip on his shoulder and a pull you’re spinning him around into your arms. The hug is exactly what you need. It fills you with warmth and a feeling you aren’t quite sure how to name.
Josh has stopped talking completely, your action taking the breath from his lungs in the best way possible. His arms, which are still out from his last sentence, wrap around you, just as tight as your hold on him. With slow, soft force, Josh moves the two of you into a lazy sway, the both of you worn out from your long days.
Josh has always loved your ability to make him feel as comfortable in silence as you do when he’s speaking. Even when he isn’t saying anything it still feels like you’re listening to him.
His hand runs down your back, then back up and the two of you stay like that for countless minutes; absolutely absorbed with each other. Eventually you pull back and Josh cups your cheek, turning his hand to stroke it with the back of his fingers before tucking some hair behind your ear and pulling you into a kiss you can only label as romantic.
This kiss is unlike anything the two of you have ever shared. Unshared feelings pour into it from both sides and it’s like the two of you are communicating through touch alone. He leads you back to the bed, sitting you down then helping you lay so he can crawl over you.
You shimmy further up the bed and he follows you, lips still connected. Greedy hands run along the dips and curves of his body, gripping his waist then dragging your nails back up to his shoulders. Even through his shirt the feeling is enough to cause his dick to twitch in his pants.
In a blur of movement between kisses the two of you strip each other and he’s pressing into you. You’re so wet he slips right in, causing him to groan deep in his chest. “Fuck I’ve been thinking about you all tour.”
You moan at his confession, body responding positively to the words, “You’ve been on my mind nonstop,” you manage to croak out, throat thick from not speaking.
Josh sends you a devilish grin, cock dragging against your walls as he pulls his hips back, sinking slowly back into you. He continues the motion, letting the thrusts speed up until he’s fucking you like he did before he left for tour. He fucks you like he doesn’t think he’s gonna see you again, hips pistoning at that delicious speed you love.
Your moans and whimpers only egg Josh on further, and that feeling you couldn’t name earlier is back. A blooming heat in your chest, spreading through your body and heightening your pleasure as you take in the pussy drunk man thrusting into you.
He looks so good like this. Just like on stage he looks like he’s in his element, like fucking you is what he was made to do. One of his hands slide up your body to tug at your nipples the other slips down to drag over your clit, which is hard and begging for his attention.
The contact has you writhing and moaning almost unhinged. “Shhh,” Josh breathes out a laugh, leaning down to hide his face against your neck, “Not so loud, Sug. Do you want everyone to hear you being my slut?”
Your walls clench around him in response, a little whimper getting lost against his head as you turn your face to bury it against his temple. Trying very hard to keep your moans under control, Josh’s thrusts become faster trying very hard to make you lose control.
You feel him chuckle at your bodies response to his words and change in pace. “What a good pussy for me. How’s it feel, my sweet sex angel?”
In response your orgasm washes over you, walls clenching down hard on him and a fucked out moan spilling from your lips. He chokes a little, smirk slipping from his face, replaced with a look of concentration as he tries very hard not to blow his load yet.
You shake your head when you can finally speak again and lean up, lips finding his ear, “Cum for me, Joshua. You’ve been a good boy all tour long, you deserve to cum in your toy.”
A choked sob leaves him as his cock twitches once, twice, on the third the dam breaks and you feel his cum pour into you. His body twitches and shudders from the intensity of his orgasm, arms wrapping tight around you, clutching you as he shakily comes down. You hold him, scratching lightly as his scalp so as not to overstimulate him.
His head rests between your breasts and he collapses against you, body weight resting on you placing delicious pressure against your cervix from how deep he is, still filling you up. You’re sure his cum must be spilling out around his cock by now.
Eventually Josh takes a deep breath in and you know he’s ready to sit up. Your arms slip from him and he pushes up to look down at you, a sleepy, fucked out grin on his face. “I missed you so much,” he slurs, “I know you said we could see other people while we were away from each other, but I just couldn’t. It felt like cheating.”
Your heart flips and you nod along with his words, “I couldn’t either.”
The look of relief on his face simultaneously breaks your heart and fills it with joy. “Really? You waited for me, too?”
You nod again, pulling him down to press a soft kiss to his lips. “You’re the only person I’ve wanted intimately since we started this. And I mean intimately both as intimacy and sex.” Fingers still tangled in his curls, you rub strands between your fingers, the feather soft texture calming your nerves from your confession.
Josh meets your eyes, a look in his eyes that matches the feeling you couldn’t name. And that’s when it hits you…
Love.
You were in love with him and from that look… he might be in love with you too.
So, gathering your courage, you allow the same feeling to cloud your eyes and watch his features change from nervous to relieved and overjoyed. In that moment the two of you are more in tune with each other than either of you have ever been with anyone else. After a breath finally one of you breaks the silence,
“I’m ready for a relationship if you are.”
There it is. The sentence you’ve both been wanting to hear for months. Well isn’t this exciting…

Quick errand: Big brother Alhaitham x astrologist little sister reader x Kaveh.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Age: 14/15 Reader Chan is Alhaitham’s little sister, she has a cryo vision, is a catalyst user and is studying astrology. Kaveh sends her to the tavern for spice but on the way home she runs into trouble luckily big brother Al got out of work on time.
You are sitting in a tree not too far from Sumeru city Sketching out a Star map that your teacher assigned to you.
(Ignore the broom, the book is your catalyst, you have on black nail polish and your wearing a cloak like Venti but in the same color scheme as the outfit.)
As you finished sketching a drop of water hit your paper.
Looking up you saw dark clouds cover the stars and moon as rain went down “I gotta get home anyways Al and Kaveh are probably wondering where I am.” You said quickly putting your sketch book, Star map and pencil case in your bag and then pulling the hood of your cloak up and running towards the city waving at your neighbors and friends “Goodnight Nilou and Layla.” You said running passed the performer and your upperclass woman who waved at you “See you in class Y/N.” Layla said yawning “Hope to see you in the festival Y/N.” Nilou said waving back as you made your way carefully through the now wet streets of Sumeru city with the lamp posts being your only source of light.
You finally made it to your brothers house that you both shared with his roommate.
When you got in the house you’re surprised to not hear Alhaitham and Kaveh arguing.
You hang your cloak on the rack near the door then called out for your older brother and his roommate “Al! kav! I’m home.” You said walking to put your bag in your room “I’m in the kitchen Y/N but Alhaitham won’t be home in an hour.” Kaveh said walking out of the kitchen with a wooden spoon in his hand wearing his weasel house slippers and a matching apron “Do you mind going to the market Y/N? We’re almost out of spice.” He said giving you some Mora and going back into the kitchen “Sure Kav.” You said walking back towards the door to put your cloak on and heading to the market place “If you see your brother tell him I’m cooking.” He said mixing up chopped vegetables.
You walked into Lambad’s tavern and went up to Lambad at the counter “Ahh welcome Y/N what can I do for you?” He asked “hello Lambad. I’m just getting spice.” You said handing him the Mora “Spice coming up.” He said heading to the back.
As you’re waiting you saw a drunk man slowly walking towards the counter while Swaying and leaving a tip “Better be carful on the way home kid! The Fatui has been active in the city.” He said walking out of the tavern holding his head in his palm “I will thank you.” You said thanking the man as Lambad came out of the back with the spice “Here you are Y/N. The spice.” He said giving you a bag filled with the spice “You know while I’m here I’ll take three rose custards.” You said pointing to the display of freshly made rose custards “certainly.” He said as you gave him the Mora “Here you go.” He said giving you another bag “Thank you Lambad.” You said happily walking out of the tavern with the bags.
When you got out of the tavern you saw that it stopped raining but the streets were still wet, You walked down the streets again for the third time that night determined to get home and hopefully not run into any Fatui but sadly luck wasn’t on your side tonight when you saw four Fatui agents stand in front of you “Hey kid? come join the Fatui! Some one with your skill would make a great addition.” The masked stranger said “Sorry I’m not interested.” You said trying to walk around them but they blocked your way “Hey! You’re the acting grand sages kid sister.” One of the agents said taking out his weapon while you summoned your catalyst ‘Great leaser Lord Kusanali help me.’ You think to yourself preparing to fight “If you want to leave in one piece I suggest you leave my sister alone.” Said a deep and familiar voice making you turn around to see your older brother with his sword out “Crud, let’s go boys.” The leader of the group said running with his goons “Let’s go sis.” Alhaitham said grabbing a bag from you and then your hand.
When you got home Kaveh was seasoning meat “oh good you’re both home.” He said walking over as you held out the bag of spice towards him “Next time check to make sure we have enough spice. There has been Fatui active in the city, Y/N almost got in a fight with some agents tonight.” Alhaitham said when Kaveh shrieked “WHAT!?” And began checking you “Kaveh I’m fine I had my catalyst at the ready incase things went ugly. Oh I brought rose custard for dessert.” You said taking the treat to the kitchen to put in the ice box.
Once dinner was ready you, Your brother and roommate sat and ate “So Y/N how’s your star mapping homework going?” Your brother asked taking a sip of dandelion wine imported from Mondstadt “It’s going well but it started raining when I had finished.” You said “I heard That Layla did hers while sleeping.” Kaveh said “The rumor is true, but our teacher will give us another load.” You said biting on the steak then taking a sip of your Wolfhook juice “She’s one of the most devoted teachers in the academia.” Alhaitham said as you all continue to eat your dinner “And next time Kaveh wait for me to get home before sending Y/N.” Your brother said getting up to wash his plate “I didn’t know the Fatui were in the city and Y/N is old enough to take care of herself she’s had her vision since she was 7.” The ash blond man said as you two took your dishes to wash while you shook your heads from your brother’s and roommates bickering.
After dinner you bathed and changed into your pajamas and then you checked your homework to see that it wasn’t wet and was protected by the books you sandwiched it in between.
Smiling you but the map back in your bag and went straight to sleep hoping that Layla gets a goodnights rest “That girl deserves a vacation away from school work.” You said to yourself falling into a goodnights rest.

Fame D.R. First Shift!
Hey y'all!!! Recently I've been seeing a lot of posts about living in the end or living as if you already have what it is that you want. Obviously what I want is to shift so I thought it'd be fun if a wrote out how my first shift wake up would go. So let's all just pretend for a second that I've shifted (OMG!!! CONGRATS BUGGIE!!!! THANK YOU BESTIES!!!! <333 :*)
Tumblr media
Comments on my DR (opinions, ideas, etc.) are welcome as long as they are respectful towards me and others! Feel free to ask any questions!
If y’all with Fame DR’s (or any DR; but especially if we have DR’s in common) ever wanna chat my DM's are open, don't be shy! (No minors, sorry!)
Anti-shifters do not interact, I don't care what you think. If you are rude or disrespectful I will block you and delete your comment. I'm not going to argue with you because I simply don't care to. (If you see a rude or disrespectful comment before I can get to it I encourage you not to engage, ignore it, thanks!)
Tumblr media
[Also for background we weren't famous when I first shifted, this was at the very beginning of My Chem. Bullets was barely in the works and Frank hadn't joined yet. I hadn't met him, but I did end up meeting him the first day I shifted at the party we went to.]
So this is how my first shift to my Fame D.R. went:
[The day after my two weeks ended and I was officially unemployed, October 1, 2001. I woke up when I felt the bed dip next to me. I kept my eyes closed and didn't move. I felt someone lightly rub my back and gently say]
Gee: Good morning, Bug. Me and Mikey have to go run some errands, afterwards we're gonna pick up Ray, then we'll all come pick you guys up. Then we'll head to the party, ok?
[He looked at me and waited for me to open my eyes.]
Buggie: Yeah, sure
[I say as I flipped over trying hide the fact that I was freaking out.]
Gee: C’mon Bug, wakey wakey
Buggie: I’m awake
Gee: Prove it
[Finally I opened my eyes and saw Gee smiling down at me, I sat up.]
Buggie: Errands, pick up Ray, then me and Abbi, got it. What time should we be ready by?
Gee: Well we want to be there by eight ish, it's (checks watch) 10:00 so probably 7:00? Gives us enough to finish errands and eat something, sound ok?
Buggie: Perfect
Gee: Oh, and eat something will you? Real food, not just a Coke. Abbi's cookin', we woulda stuck around and ate with ya, but we’re late
[I nodded my head and held out my arms (a bitch needed a hug fight me)]
Gee: Everything ok?
Buggie: [I nodded my head] Uh huh, I just had a bad dream, would you get Mikey before you guys leave?
Gee: Sure, I’ll go get him
[I held on for a second, after I let go he stands. A few minutes later Mikey appeared in the doorway.]
Mikey: Hey kid, heard you had a bad dream
[He sits on the bed]
Buggie: Yeah, I just wanted to say bye
[I hugged him, he rubbed my back lightly to comfort me]
Mikey: Wanna talk about it?
Buggie: I’m ok, I don’t wanna make y’all more late
Mikey: Eh, what’s a few more minutes?
Buggie: Really it was nothing, I don’t even really remember it anymore
Mikey: Ok, but if you need anything just call
Buggie: I will, I’ll see ya later
Mikey: See ya later, kid
The second that door closed I fully freaked out, questioning if this was real, doing reality checks, looking around, grabbing things, you know trying to make sure I was grounded. I was trying to contain my excitement and keep quiet cuz I didn't want to alarm anyone lol. After I somewhat composed myself I ran to my phone to check out my lifa app (yes that's something I kept from old shiftok lol) I explored it a bit, until I was calm, then I decided to go to the kitchen and have breakfast with Abbi.
Tumblr media
Just a lil reminder this was me living in the end! I don't want y'all to think I'm lying or anything I just thought this would be fun and helpful for my journey :)
Anyway thanks for reading! Love y'all <3333

UPDATE 3: The Great CC Purge of 2024
CAS CC Purge: ✔️
Build CC Purge: ✔️
Yesterday was an errand-running day for me and my partner. Plus, on weekends I practice driving. (FUN FACT: I do not have a license to drive yet because I was in a car accident at the age of 9 with my mom and baby sister that gave me a decent phobia that lasted for a really long time) (but my goal was to learn how to drive a car before the age of 40 and I have my permit and did some driving lessons over the summer).
Which is to say, I’m not as far in the Buy CC Purge as I’d like. This week is gonna be schoolies slow so I’m going to take advantage of the peace.
I’m just gonna go in the order of object type in the game, starting with the Comfort category. Exciting stuff! It’ll probably be more fun than when I was doing this with build items.
Hoping I can get through at least 3 categories, so that I can get cracking on the actual deletion and remerging and reorganizing of everything. Despite being ADHD af I love organizing, I can just get lazy about keeping up with it. My current organization type has lasted me a long time and has done right by me, but since I’m always downloading new stuff, I clearly need a system that allows me to delete CC I ultimately don’t need or want ASAP. Like have a merged file called “on notice” or “temp” so I know it has fully been put into the cannon or pantheon yet or whatever.
If I keep up at my current pace I’m anticipating being done by Thursday. I’d at the very least like to get some more Orson posts up and then have a nice casual session with my new chill lesbian witch family pay save.
Anyways! Once I’m done I’ll probably detail how I went about my purge, what programs I use, and any other advice. Assuming this all works out. I just wanna get back to gameplay.

Trailing your finger along the spines of the books in front of you, you methodically search for the one you’re looking for. So lost in your perusing, you don’t notice that someone else has entered the library until they cough, frightfully close behind you. Gasping, you whirl around, hand instinctively darting to the small dagger tucked into your skirt pockets. The inclusion of pockets had been suggested long ago by one of your stableboys and many times you’ve sent him thoughts of thanks because of it.
“I apologize,” Lord Satan says, holding out a placating hand. “I did not intend to startle you.”
“Don’t trouble yourself over it,” you reply, giving him a smile. “I was lost in thought. Was there something you needed?”
Lord Satan’s compelling green eyes flick from you to the books behind you. “I noticed that you’ve been looking for a book for some time. I’m more than willing to provide assistance if you need any.”
“Oh, would you?” you ask excitedly. “I’m still getting used to the organizational system here. And if anyone knows where it’s located, it’s probably you.”
“You flatter me.” Lord Satan tilts his head slightly. “Now, what title are you looking for?”
“It’s titled Grimorium Verium. Are you familiar with it?”
“I am,” Lord Satan replies, lips pursing slightly. “My question is, what do you need with it? A grimoire on Black Magic isn’t exactly light reading.”
Raising your eyebrows, you click your tongue at the lord. “Passing judgment on others’ reading habits? Interesting choice, Lord Satan. Why, just the other day I saw you with a copy of Heptameron.”
Lord Satan stiffens slightly, perhaps uncomfortable with the fact that you had seen him. He hadn’t exactly been in a well-traveled place at the time and you wondered if Lord Simeon knew he was studying up on angel magic, and if he didn’t, what he would think if he did know.
“And when, pray tell, did you see me with that?”
You wink, pressing a finger to your lips. “Ah ah, some secrets are still mine. Anyway, I want it because it was recommended to me back in the human realm but since it’s so heavily restricted there I haven’t been able to get my hands on it. I had been hoping the Devildom has less of a ban on books, but perhaps I was mistaken?”
“No,” Lord Satan says after a moment. “You weren’t. I’m just unused to humans searching for dark matter. If you follow me I can show you where it is.”
“That would be delightful,” you say, accepting the arm he offers you. “And while we’re here, if you’d be so kind as to share any recommendations with me I would be immensely grateful.”
“Topic preferences?” Lord Satan asks as he walks you through the towering shelves and displays.
“None,” you reply. “I’m sure I’ll enjoy whatever you found worth reading.”
*
You leave the library with a copy of Grimorium Verum, along with a few other books handpicked for you by the Avatar of Wrath. They were thick, with small text, and Lord Satan had warned you some weren’t translated to English, but you had accepted them anyway. The RAD library is a veritable treasure trove of information and you planned to wring everything you could out of it in the year that you had. It would be foolish not to.
On your way to the House of Lamentation, you see two familiar figures on the street, weaving in between the carriages and carts.
“Hello,” you call, waving them down. Lord Simeon and Sir Solomon were becoming more and more familiar to you, and you’ve found yourself enjoying their presence as you get to know them better. “Lovely afternoon, is it not?”
“Hello, Lady F/N,” Sir Solomon greets warmly. “It is. Were you running errands?”
“Oh, no,” you say with a laugh, lifting the pile of books in your arms. “I was merely at the library. Lord Satan suggested some books for me so I’m excited to read them.”
Lord Simeon examines the books in your grasp, a small furrow appearing between his brows. “Did you say Lord Satan suggested them?”
“Yes,” you reply. “He was kind enough to recommend them to me when I asked. Is something the matter?”
Lord Simeon starts, looking up at you hastily. “No, it’s just…”
“Just?” you prompt after a moment, wondering if he too was going to criticize your choice in literature. Lord Simeon turns to Sir Solomon for a brief moment, who, you note, looks entirely too amused by a situation that you’re confused by.
“It’s just that when Lord Satan and I last spoke, he mentioned one of the titles you hold. Specifically how dense and, er, boring he found it.”
“Oh,” you say after a moment.
“I did not mean to upset you, my lady,” Lord Simeon says, and you laugh.
“My lord, you have not. Thank you for the concern, and the truth.” You sigh. “It appears that Lord Satan is either testing me or playing a cruel prank. That is unfortunate, considering I had truly hoped to gain some insight from his favorite reading materials. It is of no matter, though,” you continue, squaring your shoulders, “for I shall finish them all and force him into a long-winded and in-depth discussion about their contents.”
Sir Solomon barks a laugh, eying you appreciatively. “That’s a response I hadn’t expected. My lady, you are truly full of surprises.”
“Well, I wish you luck in the matter,” Lord Simeon says. “I am sorry that Lord Satan found it appropriate to do such a thing.”
“Oh, no need to apologize,” you say airily. “You are not the one at fault. And in my opinion, any book written is worth reading, even if it is only to confirm how useless it is. Anyway, I must be on my way, but it was a pleasure running into you both, as always.”
“You as well,” Sir Solomon says with a small bow. “Please, let me know how it goes with Lord Satan. And I am fairly well-versed in many subjects so if you want someone to actually give you recommendations, I’d be more than willing.”
“I’m sure I’ll take you up on that offer,” you say, and soon enough you’re alone once more, striding down the cobblestone path.
*
A few days later finds you sitting in the garden, sipping a cup of fragrant tea as you skim through one of the books Lord Satan had given you. He was correct; they are all frightfully dense and boring, but you’re powering through. Though your hands itch to flip open Grumorium Verum, you know if you do, you’ll fail to come back to the other titles.
“Oh, Lady F/N,” Lord Asmodeus trills, entering your line of vision. His waistcoat and pants are a crisp white, and his cravat is a beautiful shade of blue, a nice pop of color. As with every time you’ve seen him, he looks impeccably put together, wearing the garments like a second skin. “I hadn’t expected to run into you out here. What have you been up to?”
You delicately mark your place in the book, closing it. “Only a bit of reading. And you?”
Lord Asmodeus sighs, slumping down. “Oh, nothing in particular. I just saw how nice it was today and decided a walk in the gardens would do me much good.”
“It is quite lovely,” you remark. “Would you care for some tea and cookies?”
“As much as I’d love to spend some time with you, my lady,” Lord Asmodeus sighs, “I do have some business to attend to shortly. Good luck on your reading!”
“Thank you, my lord.” You watch him stroll off, a small smile on your face. Your interactions with the fifth-born always leave you in a pleasant mood. After a moment, you devote yourself back to your reading.
“Asmo said I might find you out here,” a calm voice calls a few minutes later, and you look up to be met with Lord Satan. “Doing a bit of reading?”
Lord Simeon’s words echo in your head and you give Lord Satan an inviting smile. “I am! I’ve been making my way through your recommendations.”
“Have you?”
“Oh, yes,” you say, gesturing for Lord Satan to sit. “They’re not what I imagined your style to be, but if you liked them there must be some merit to them, of course. What did you think of the assertions made in Ars Memoriae? I found some of it to be fitting, based on my own personal experiences. Of course…” you continue to ramble, effectively trapping Lord Satan into a conversation he (quite clearly, in your opinion) doesn’t want to have.
Revenge is sweet, especially paired with the delicious tea. You must ask for the blend next time you run into the duke.

Good Movies and Better Friends
pairing: Nobamaki but really this is more about friend dynamics between Nobara and Yuuji with a little bit of Megumi and Yuuji.
warnings: N/A this is primarily fluff! Little bit of angst because Nobara gets her feelings hurt but it all ends well :)
synopsis: Nobara ends up getting in a fight with Maki but Yuuji comforts her with a hug and multiple rom-coms.
word count: 3k
a/n: This was inspired by this fanart! It was so hard to think of a reason for Nobara and Maki to fight but I did my best lol. Also it's almost 6AM and I'm posting this I wrote it in one-sitting bc I needed to just get it out so hopefully the writing isn't too bad.
---------------------------------------------------------
Yuuji was awake watching Human Earthworm 5 when he heard the sound of the front door opening and closing. Who was coming back at this hour? He had asked if Fushiguro and Kugisaki wanted to binge the Human Earthworm series with him but they both said they already had plans.
“I have...errands to run.” Megumi responded. He didn’t meet the other boy’s eye when he said it, though.
“Aww all day?” Yuuji pouted.
Megumi cleared his throat, still not looking at his best friend and just gave a curt, “Yeah.”
Yuuji, bummed by Megumi’s response, looked hopefully at Nobara, “What about you Kugisaki? We could even do face masks!” Yuuji wasn’t one to have a skincare routine, but he knew how much Nobara enjoyed cosmetics, so he hoped the idea of a face mask would be enough to entice her.
“Hmm, while the face mask is tempting, I’m not interested in some gross worm man. Plus,” and she gave a little flick of her hair with a smug expression on her face, “me and Maki are finally going on another date tonight and I’ve been prepping for it since yesterday! I got my hair cut, painted my nails, and bought a whole new outfit just for tonight!” Kugisaki said excitedly. “You should probably still do the face mask though, Itadori, your skin looks like it could use some hydration.” At that, she gave a little wave to the two boys saying she needed to start getting ready.
Yuuji looked at Megumi, a confused expression on his face, “Why is she getting ready so early if she said her plans are tonight?”
“I don’t know... But I should also get going. See you later, Itadori.” Megumi gave a wave and then there was nobody in the common room but Yuuji.
“Welp! Their loss.” And Yuuji made his way to the kitchen to start warming up some popcorn.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Nobara met Maki at the school gates, excited for their date out on the town. It wasn’t often they found time to go out and Maki had been away on a mission, so it had been a while since they really got to have a conversation too.
“Hi Maki!” Nobara skipped excitedly up to the girl.
“Hey. You ready?” Maki responded with a smile and hooked her arm out.
“Of course!” Nobara beamed and hugged Maki’s outstretched arm.
The girls spent some time in the city, getting food, shopping (although it was mainly Nobara shopping and Maki holding her bags), and just generally enjoying each other’s company, walking hand in hand.
Everything was going great until they ran into Mai. She was out with Momo and Miwa, the latter girl the only one who wasn’t carrying a bag.
When Mai noticed them, she smirked, “Wow Maki. I never expected you’d meet anyone who could put up with you in a relationship.”
“Yeah I guess I got lucky. I’m not surprised you still haven’t found anyone yet, though.” Maki smirked back.
“Oh I’m just more selective with who I choose to share myself with.” And she looks Nobara up and down with a slightly disgusted look on her face.
Nobara’s face flamed. How dare she talk about her and Maki like that! “Don’t kid yourself! Maki is prettier, smarter, AND has a better personality than you!”
“Aww Maki your plaything seems to actually think highly of you. Too bad we’re the rejects of the Zen’in clan.” Mai cooed.
Maki’s face hardened, “Not for long. I’ll make them recognize me one way or another.”
Mai laughed, “How? By being pretty, smart, and having a great personality? Stop fooling yourself.”
Nobara had a choice insult on the tip of her tongue when she felt a hand on her shoulder, cutting her off.
“You’ll see. They all will.” And with that, Maki turned and walked away.
Nobara stuck her tongue out at Mai, accompanied by a rude gesture, before running to catch up with Maki.
“She’s so mean and it shows in how dry her skin is, but you’ll make her eat her words!” Nobara beamed at Maki.
Maki kept walking, not looking at Nobara, “Yeah.”
Nobara could sense the tension in her tone and laced her fingers in Maki’s, “Hey, I think you’re amazing and strong and can do anything. I don’t think you need to prove anything to anyone. You’re perfect just as you are.”
Maki’s grip on Nobara’s hand tightened as she balled her hands into fists, “I don’t need your approval or your pity. If I was perfect then I wouldn’t need these damned glasses or be stuck as a grade 4 sorcerer. If I was perfect I wouldn’t have been disowned by my own family.”
Maki gritted her teeth, anger flaring. Nobara winced as Maki’s grip on her hand tightened, “Maki my ha-” but she was cut off by Maki’s yelling.
“And I don’t need you to stick up for me especially if you’re just going to lie about who I am! I’m not perfect, I can't even see curses! That’s the bare minimum someone needs to even be a sorcerer! Don’t you know that!?” Maki finally turned to Nobara, who was in tears. It was at that point that she realized she was holding Nobara’s hand which had fingernail marks on it from where Maki’s nails were digging in.
Maki’s anger immediately vanished, only to be replaced by guilt and shame. Hadn’t the Zen’in ruined her life enough? How could she let them get in the way of her relationship and even worse, cause her to hurt someone she cared so dearly for? She hadn’t even realized Nobara had grabbed her hand; she was so lost in her angry thoughts.
Maki opened her mouth to apologize but Nobara cut her off, “Well fine if you don’t need my pity then forget I said anything! I take it back, you're no better than Mai!” And with that the girl ran off, leaving Maki standing on the sidewalk.
It was 8pm by the time Nobara made it back to the school. She cried the whole way home, and even though she tried calming down, she couldn’t get the tears to stop flowing. How could Maki say those things to her? Her hand didn’t hurt anymore and she knew Maki would never intentionally hurt her, but in the moment it just made everything Maki said feel ten times worse.
As she approached the front door of the dorm building, she did her best to wipe the tears on her face. She knew Yuuji would still be watching human earthworm and she didn’t want him to notice her crying. So once she felt composed enough, she opened the door and walked through.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
“Hey Kugisaki! You’re back ea-” Yuuji’s expression went from pleasant surprise to immediate concern when he saw how red and puffy her face was. She tried to hide it but wasn’t fast enough. “Kugisaki....are you okay?” Yuuji got up and went straight to Nobara, movie forgotten.
At Yuuji’s kind voice she couldn’t help but burst into tears again, “Maki and I had a fight.” She gripped her arm and bit her lip, trying to keep her voice steady and not devolve into a fit of hiccups.
“Oh...I’m sorry. Do you want to talk about it?” Yuuji asked, brows creased in concern.
Nobara sniffled, “Not really no.”
“Would a hug make you feel better?” Yuuji asked. He understood if she didn’t want to talk about what happened, but hugs always made him feel better when he was upset about something.
Nobara sniffled again and pondered for a minute before nodding. Soon, she felt two strong but gentle arms wrap around her, her tears staining Yuuji’s jacket. He clasped his hands behind her back, holding her close. She returned the hug, burying her face into his shoulder as the tears continued to flow. Yuuji felt warm and comforting, like your favorite blanket or your favorite mug filled with a warm beverage on a cold day. Nobara took deep breaths, inhaling Yuuji’s familiar scent and slowly began to calm down. The boy made no attempt to move, allowing Nobara to determine how long she needed to be hugged for. When he felt her stir and begin to pull away he unclasped his hands and looked at her. Her face was a little less puffy than when she walked in and her breathing was steady.
“Do you feel a bit better now?” Yuuji asked.
“Yeah I do actually. Thanks, Itadori.” And Nobara gave him a small but genuine smile.
At that moment, a loud explosion went off in the movie and startled them both, heads turning to look at the screen.
“Oh! Oh! That was the best part of the movie! Hold on, let me rewind it.” And Yuuji excitedly ran back to the couch to grab the remote. He began to rewind it when he glanced at Nobara who was standing there, rubbing her arm awkwardly.
“Actually, I’m kind of sick of watching this movie. I’ve seen it like 5 times at this point. Is there anything you wanna watch, Kugisaki?” Yuuji was in fact very much still into these movies, but he could tell his friend needed him, so he would gladly save the rest of his binging for another night.
Nobara looked at him, “Oh, are you sure? You seemed so excited to watch these movies...”
“Eh it’s okay I’d rather watch something we both wanna watch! It’s more fun when everyone is into it.” Yuuji grinned.
Nobara gave a small smile in return, “Okay...do you know any good rom-coms? I like watching those.”
“Oh yeah! I know a bunch we can watch! I’ll get it setup.” And Yuuji began clicking buttons on the remote.
“Okay!” Nobara’s smile was bigger now, “I’ll go make some popcorn!”
“Good idea!”
When Nobara came back to the common room with a big bowl of popcorn in her hands she saw the movie paused on the TV and Yuuji wearing what looked like a face mask.
“Uhh, Itadori what’s on your face?” Nobara asked.
“Huh? Oh it’s a face mask! Here I brought you one too.” And Yuuji held out a thin packet to Nobara. She set the popcorn down and looked at it, it was a good brand, one she had actually bought often....wait a second. “Itadori, did you take these from my room!?”
The boy gave a sheepish grin, rubbing the back of his neck, “Sorry...I don’t have any face masks of my own and I figured it would cheer you up if we did one. I’ll buy you more though, promise!”
Nobara fought the smile that tried to make its way onto her face but eventually gave up. It was a really sweet gesture, and plus, if he said he would buy her more then maybe she could convince him to buy an even better brand.
Nobara smiled, “Well all right but I don’t want you using my stuff again and I’m gonna hold you to that promise!” She put the face mask on and told Yuuji to scoot over on the couch, where she curled up and laid her head down on his lap, throwing the occasional piece of popcorn in her mouth and laughing along with Yuuji at the movie.
--------------------------------------------------------
Nobara woke up the next morning to six missed calls from Maki, 20 unread text messages, and the girl banging on her door.
“Nobara....Nobara please can we talk? I'm so sorry.” Maki’s voice sounded hoarse, like she had been crying.
Nobara got out of bed and opened the door, seeing Maki made her hurt all over again, but she at least didn’t feel like she was going to cry this time. After spending the night watching rom-coms with Yuuji she felt a lot better, and was ready to hear Maki out.
“Nobara...can I come in?” Maki asked weakly.
Nobara stepped to the side to let her in and then closed the door behind her before going to sit on her bed.
Maki stayed standing while she spoke, “I am so sorry for everything yesterday. I don’t even know where to begin. Is your hand okay? I’m so sorry I didn’t even realize I was holding your hand. I was just so wrapped up in my own anger. I never meant to hurt you and the things I said aren’t true at all. I said them out of anger not at you but at the Zen’in and I’m usually better at not letting Mai get to me but when she said those things in front of you it just made me feel like I wasn’t good enough to be with you. And then when you were cheering me up afterwards I felt like you were trying to convince yourself of why you were with me and I know I was wrong and this isn’t an excuse but I just need you to know I am so sorry.” Maki didn’t take a breath that entire time. She had clearly spent the night thinking about and regretting her actions.
Nobara was silent for a moment before she spoke, “My hand is fine, you just left some marks from your nails on it but they went away after a few minutes...And I understand. I mean, I don’t understand exactly how you feel or what you’ve been through, but I get what you’re saying. You’re right it’s not an excuse for how you treated me yesterday, but I understand how one thing led to another. That being said though, I don’t ever want you to doubt how I feel about you. I’m not such a simple woman that the words of someone else can change my feelings. I know you and I know who you are. You have flaws and maybe you’re not a perfect jujutsu sorcerer but you’re perfect for me.”
Both girls looked at each other before Maki made the first move, walking to Nobara and gently grabbing her soft hands in her own calloused ones, “I’m sorry again. And you’re right. I should never have doubted you. Can you find it in you to forgive me?” Maki was staring intensely into Nobara’s eyes, which had softened. Nobody else got to see this soft, vulnerable side of Maki but her. She felt so special when it was just the two of them.
Nobara cupped Maki’s face with one hand, “I’ve already forgiven you. But I do expect a redo of our date.”
Maki smiled and gave Nobara a quick peck on the lips, “Anything for you.”
----------------------------------------------------------------
Yuuji woke up late the next morning, he was up late last night watching movies with Nobara until they could both barely keep their eyes open. Surprisingly though, he never saw Megumi come home. Curious, he headed towards the boy’s room and knocked on the door. When he didn’t answer, he peered inside and saw the room was empty with the bed neatly made.
Huh, where’s Megumi? He got changed and walked around the school until he found Megumi with his divine dogs out, having just come back from a run.
“Fushiguro! There you are! I was looking for you. What time did you get home last night?”
Megumi’s eyes widened at the question, “Um, late.”
Yuuji’s head tilted, “Oh really? I was up pretty late with Kugisaki but neither of us saw you come in.”
Megumi looked away, “Yeah it must have been after you guys went to bed...”
“Wow and you still woke up early enough to take your divine dogs on a run? I woke up not too long ago and I’m still kind of tired.” Yuuji yawned to prove his point.
Megumi began shifting between his feet, clearly growing uncomfortable, “Yeah I guess I do well on little sleep.”
At Megumi’s statement, Yuuji grew skeptical, “Wait a minute...no you don’t. Don’t you remember that time we stayed out late watching a movie but then had to wake up early for training the next day? You were so grumpy! You yelled at me not to talk to you before you had your coffee!”
Megumi’s face warmed at being caught in a lie. Ugh, why did Itadori have to be so attentive towards his friends?
Megumi gave a deep sigh, “Okay, I never actually went out last night. I was in my room the whole day.” Megumi couldn’t look Itadori in the eye. He felt bad for lying to the boy about running errands but he really did not want to watch the human earthworm movies.
Yuuji pouted, “Fushigurooo why’d you lie?”
Megumi’s face reddened even more, he really wanted to avoid this but he supposed he did lie to his friend, and Itadori didn’t deserve that, so he told him the truth.
“I’m...not a fan of those types of movies.” Megumi said quietly.
“What? You’re not a fan of slasher films?” Yuuji asked incredulously.
“Yeah...and Human Earthworm in particular creeps me out. He just...doesn’t look right.” Megumi was avoiding eye contact at all costs when Yuuji broke out in laughter, causing Megumi to look up at him in shock.
“Fushiguro, you could have just told me that! If there’s a different genre you like we could have watched that instead! Last night I ended up watching rom-coms with Kugisaki.” Yuuji was grinning at his friend.
Megumi was always taken aback by how kind and genuine Itadori was. Especially living as a jujutsu sorcerer, it was easy to let the nature of the work get to you. But Itadori always seemed to have a smile on his face. He was like a ray of sunshine breaking through a cloudy day.
“Well, I like watching documentaries if you have any of those.”
Yuuji’s smile didn’t waver, “I can’t think of any off the top of my head but I’ll look some up and maybe we can watch one tonight!”
Megumi couldn’t help but sink into the boy’s sincerity and enthusiasm, and he also felt like he owed it to Yuuji after lying to him, “All right, I look forward to what you choose.”
Yuuji beamed and gave him finger guns, “Leave it to me!” And ran off, leaving Megumi to watch Nobara and Maki walking on the opposite side of the training field, hand in hand.

Excerpt of Chapter 19 (!) just posted :) This section is pretty spoiler free with some Reefer Rick
“You want me to go on a drug run with you?”
Eddie chuckled at his signature disapproving face. He pulled him closer to him in bed where they were sprawled.
“It’s not as extreme as you’re making it seem, baby. I just need to pick stuff up and make two stops. All you’d have to do is sit in the van and look pretty,” he cradled his face in his hand and caressed his thumb across his jaw. “Just some quick errands. We can grab groceries too. Then come back and relax. Okay?” He stared into his eyes. Steve seemed more put together, more himself than he had in days. He hoped the surprise later didn’t send them backwards.
Steve acquiesced with a sigh and a nod. “Yeah, I guess that makes sense.”
He waited patiently as Steve used all of his products to get his hair perfectly styled, smirking to himself as he pulled one of Eddie’s flannels on over his own clothes.
After parking next to Reefer Rick’s boathouse, he reached over to pull Steve in for a deep kiss. “Stay here baby, I’ll be right back.” Steve hummed and nodded but when he pulled back, his face paled as he stared past him out the windshield.
Eddie turned around quickly and was immediately met with the wicked grin of Rick, a few feet away.
“Oh shit,” he breathed.
Before he could turn back to Steve, Rick was already pulling open his driver’s side door. He moved fast for an old hippie.
“Well well well,” Rick drawled as his gaze slid between the two of them. “Isn’t this a surprise?”
“Rick-“ Eddie started. He knew he was harmless and would probably only tease the shit out of them, but Steve didn’t. And he’d promised he wouldn’t have to interact with anyone.
“No no, now come inside, both of you. I insist, he held his hand out for Eddie, unnecessarily. Before Eddie could get a word out, he was pulled down off his seat.
He spun around to face Steve, who still looked unsure but had scooted across the seat towards him. He sent him a reassuring smile and reached for him. Steve wrapped a hand around his wrist and didn’t let go as he dropped onto the driveway beside them. Rick glanced shiftily into the woods around them and gestured for them to follow him into the house.
“So, introduce me to your friend, Eddie,” Rick said, wiggling his eyebrows.
“C’mon Rick, can you please pretend to be normal for like five fucking minutes?” He sighed. He waved his hand between them dramatically. “This is Steve, Steve this is Rick.”
Steve’s rich boy manners were so ingrained in him that he automatically stuck his hand out for a handshake. Eddie swallowed his snort.
Rick covered his surprise with a filthy grin as he yanked Steve closer by their clasped hands. “Impressive handshake. Are you looking for a job, Steve?”
Steve sputtered out a “No, sir,” and quickly dropped his hand.
Rick guffawed.
“Rick-“ he warned.
“Ease up, man. I’m not stealing him. But with a face like that, he could sell condoms to a nun.” Rick stepped back to give him a speculative once over. “You smoke, Steve?”
Steve shrugged, getting some bravado back. “Here and there.”
He smirked, continuing to lead them into a wide living room with windows overlooking the lake. “Well, how about here,” he gestured widely, “and there?” Rick pointed to an overstuffed loveseat.
Steve pulled Eddie down into the loveseat with him, still holding his wrist but seeming to gain some confidence. Eddie tried not to allow the resentment bubbling in his belly to show on his face at Steve following Rick’s orders.
Rick sat in the high backed chair closest to Steve, pulled the coffee table to him and rolled a joint. Silently, he lit it and passed it to Steve after taking a long hit. Rick watched him, while Eddie watched Rick. He knew this was a test, had seen him pull it on a handful of others before. But Steve had already been well versed in smoking before Eddie’s chaotic arrival in his life. Steve usually stuck to beer, but he was always fun high, more giggly and loose.
Steve puffed and passed beautifully and their circle continued. Rick sent Eddie a wink. Once he had approved of Steve, he finally left them with the last third and went to grab what they had come for. Steve stubbed out the end into the ashtray and they both stood when Rick arrived back in the room. Eddie slid the paper bag wrapped parcel under his jacket and with some goodbyes, Steve earning himself a chortle from Rick when he offered another handshake, they were out the door.
Steve let out a sigh when he was back in his seat in the van. “You could’ve warned me,” he huffed.
“Baby, I didn’t know. He never meets me in the fucking driveway. A lot of the time I have to beat on his doors and windows to wake him up. You handled it all incredibly, though, don’t worry. And Rick, as strange as he is, he’s cool. He’s about as good as family to me, saw through my dad’s lies back in the day and would try to send things my way. Toys, books, notebooks. Things kids need but aren’t usually high on the list when you’d rather buy drugs or steal cars. He’s the one who first convinced me to pick up a guitar.” He reached over to squeeze his thigh. “I’m sorry you had to get thrown into the boyfriend test or whatever that was. You okay?”
Steve nodded. “Yeah. I’m glad I met him. Wish it wasn’t quite as awkward, but when do you ever have normal social interactions?” He actually huffed a laugh and it reassured Eddie more than it should.
“You’ve got me there,” he grinned. “You ready for actual errands?” Steve grinned back and settled back in his seat, pulling Eddie’s hand back onto his thigh.

“if you called just to get off on my voice, i’m hanging up. “ with pld please
“If you called just to get off on my voice, I'm hanging up.”
for a split second i wanted to make this a cheating fic what is it about pld that screams cheater idk idk (i didn’t bc i know that’s not everyone’s cup of tea)
(18+) phone sex, masturbation
-
It was a rare occasion that anyone called you on the phone nowadays, but it was even more rare to receive a call in the middle of the workday and from your regular bootycall nonetheless.
“Hello?” You answered your phone curiously. You could only assume it was a matter of life and death if Pierre was calling you at three in the afternoon.
“Hey, baby,” he greeted huskily. “You at work?”
“It’s three o’clock on a Tuesday, so yes,” you chuckled. “What’s up? Aren’t you in Pittsburgh right now?” It was just a little past four where he was.
“I missed you…” His voice trailed off for a moment, and you could hear the low rumble of the TV on in the background. “Are you alone right now?”
“Yeah, I’m in my office finishing up some paperwork,” you chuckled. “Isn’t the game soon?”
“We’re heading to the arena in half an hour,” he confirmed. “Can you spare me a few minutes of your time?”
It took a minute for the gears to click into place in your head, and mixed with the slightly ragged breathing and deep voice on Pierre’s end, you pieced it together.
“If you called just to get off on my voice, I'm hanging up.”
He protested immediately, and you expected nothing less, but he didn’t have to know you were already closing your door and locking it while he begged you to not hang up.
“Baby, just ten minutes please,” he whined across the line. “It’s been a week since I fucked you, and I’m dying here. You don’t even have to dirty talk me. Just tell me about your day and I’ll get there.”
“Really?” You teased. “Would telling you about my plans for running errands later get you hard?”
“I was hard the second you said hello,” Pierre admitted. “What are you running errands for?”
A faint rustle let you know he was shifting around, most likely to sneak a hand into his pants to stroke his cock.
Wanting to test his theory, you kept the facade up. “Grocery shopping for starters,” you said. “I need to get more cereal since someone eats all my Froot Loops when they come over. Probably get some milk, coffee, and bread. You know, the usual stuff. Quick trip to the post office after that before it closes at five to send out some packages to my family.”
“Any plans for tonight?” His voice was strained.
“Maybe watch the game while I make dinner…”
“Maybe?” He asked. “Not sure if you wanna watch us beat the Penguins?”
“You know I’m always going to root for Crosby over you,” you teased him.
“You’re killing me, you know that?”
“Of course I will be watching the game,” you said. “I stand by rooting for Crosby though, but I guess I can spare some support for you. I’ll probably make some pasta for dinner and have some wine… maybe I’ll call you after the game so you can get me off when I’m in bed.”
“I’d love to, baby, but I don’t know if Lowry will appreciate me asking how wet you are.”
“I don’t mind him listening in. It’ll take more than that to dissuade me,” you added.
Pierre let out a moan of approval at your words, and you could tell his hand was picking up the pace. “Careful before I actually extend that invitation to him,” he warned.
“Come on, Luc, we both know you’re not the type to share…” Pierre was uniquely jealous even when it came to you. Not that you were together exclusively or anything, but he always made sure to mark you up whenever you had sex and kept a firm grip on your waist whenever you went out.
“No one else would know how to handle you like I know how,” Pierre grunted. “And no one else could fill you up like me.”
“Mmm… You’re probably right,” you agreed. “Maybe I’ll get myself off tonight thinking about that…”
“When I get back in a few days, I’m going to fuck you sideways, I swear,” Pierre promised.
“Threat or promise? Either way, I’ve got a new mirror in my room to show you when you do.” Maybe you’d show it to him early and send him some pictures during intermission.
“Yeah?” He said, his breathing becoming more labored by the second.
“Mhm,” you hummed. “It reflects the end of my bed and is about eight feet tall. I can send you a picture later if you want. Maybe you can show it to Adam while you’re at it and see what he thinks about it.”
His groans increased in volume throughout your words, and by the end of your sentence you knew he was finishing across his stomach. A few more seconds of his heavy breathing went on before slowing down, and you couldn’t help but clench your thighs together as you listened to him work through his orgasm.
“I have to say,” you started after giving him a few moments to recover. “I didn’t think grocery shop talk would actually get you there.”
A deep laugh sounded across the line. “Only you could make me come talking about bread and mail.”
“We’ll have to see what other boring things I can come up with to say in bed,” you joked. “I hate to cut this off, but your ten minutes are up, bud. And you’ve got a bus to catch soon.”
“Mood killer,” he stated, and you could imagine the smirk on his face. “I’ll call you later tonight, okay?”
“Okay,” you agreed. “Good luck tonight.”
Pierre said his goodbyes before you hung up. Only thirty seconds passed before your phone was lighting up with a new text message from Pierre, and in that message contained a picture of his softening cock with white ropes of cum decorating his stomach.
You bit your lip examining the image, sending a quick text back over to Pierre. Trying to focus on your work after that was useless, especially with the image of his cock burning in your mind, so you clocked out early and headed home. Maybe you’d have to make a quick pit stop at home before heading to the store…

(Written for Momoharu Week 2023 Day 1: Trust)

Story Description: The most interesting thing "Kaito Momota" had ever done in his life was stupidly sign up for a death game as an impulsive teen. Chapter 1 below the cut. Thank you for reading! 💜
I’ll never forget the first time I saw “Planetarium Girl.” I was wiping down one of the outdoor tables at the sushi restaurant where I worked when I saw a wave of dark hair and heard the clip-clopping sound of her shoes on the pavement. She turned and glanced over at me, and when I met her eyes, I could have sworn I knew her—had known her all my life. It was one of those cosmic experiences they talk about in the movies…or maybe she was just a former classmate of mine I had forgotten or I had seen her at the park or the supermarket. The whole experience was giving me déjà vu, and I couldn’t do anything but stare at her and no, not just because she was pretty—though I admit I noticed that too. It was impossible not to. But I swear I’m not some kind of creep—I really was just wracking my brain trying to figure out where we had met before. I couldn’t call to mind her name, her hobbies, her favorite color, if we were friends, coworkers, classmates or just strangers who bumped into each other running errands. But I knew her face and that sadness that passed over her eyes when she looked at me made my chest ache.
She turned away quickly and disappeared into the planetarium across the street. I’ll admit I was a little disappointed. I was hoping she would stop by the restaurant, maybe even get seated in my section by a stroke of luck and I’d get a little more time to figure out how I knew her. Instead, she vanished, and it wasn’t long before my manager walked by and quipped, “Stop making goo goo eyes and get back to work.”
I tried to shake off that weird sense of déjà vu and forget the whole thing. I figured that I’d probably never see her again, but I was wrong. Every so often with no real rhyme or reason to it, she’d appear—walking on the opposite side of the street either coming or going from the planetarium. That whole summer I was waiting the outside tables at the sushi restaurant, so I got a front row seat to “Planetarium Girl” as I began to call her—never quite being able to call to mind her actual name. I began to wonder if she worked there or maybe she was just really into space or something. A science student, perhaps—future rocket scientist and ultra-intelligent. It made me question even more how I could know someone like that. I got by in school and was somehow muddling through my university classes—juggling them and my part-time job. I was never particularly ambitious and only enrolled in university in the first place since I felt like I owed it to my grandparents after what I put them through as a rebellious teenager.
Most teens rebelled by partying, dying their hair or getting a tattoo, but I took out my teen angst by signing over my bodily autonomy to a reality tv show death game. Not the best decision I had ever made in my life. To be honest, I didn’t remember a thing about it. The doctor said it was retrograde amnesia. Baba, my grandmother, said it was a blessing.
We never really discussed the death game beyond teary-eyed Baba spluttering about how awful it was to have to watch some version of me fight for my life—whatever that means. I figured it was probably for the best that I didn’t remember something so horrible, but still it was hard not to feel like I had missed out on a whole chunk of my life even if it was traumatic. I tried not to think about it, but it had been on my mind a bit since the company who ran the thing was in the middle of a huge, highly publicized lawsuit at the moment. You would have thought a couple of bigwig executives would realize you can’t facilitate the deaths of minors on international tv without repercussions, but apparently not.
Having promised Baba that I’d turn over a new leaf and move forward, I didn’t want anything to do with the lawsuit—that didn’t stop the lawyers from sending a bunch of materials over though. I just shoved them in a box somewhere, not that it mattered. The way I saw it, everyone makes stupid choices sometimes, and even if my choices were way more stupid (and life threatening) than most, it didn’t help me or anyone to sit around wallowing in regret over them, so I moved forward and tried to live as decent and as normal a life as I could now—muddling my way through classes and waiting tables and wondering how in the world I knew “Planetarium Girl.” I didn’t know what it was about her that had me so focused on trying to figure out why she looked so familiar to me. It bothered me for months until finally, one evening in the late summer after an extra shift I picked up for someone else, I decided to check out the planetarium for myself. No, I wasn’t following her there. I just wanted to see what the big deal was—it had to be a pretty amazing place if “Planetarium Girl” kept visiting it over and over. So I bought a ticket.  What could it hurt?
The kid running the ticket booth had thick rimmed glasses too big for his baby face and was way too excited about this new planetarium show about the moon they were showing just for the summer. He said I was lucky that I decided to come in before they retired it since it was only a limited engagement and pointed me in the direction of some practically abandoned exhibits about the stars and planets. I perused them—mainly just looking at the pictures and skimming over the accompanying text—until it was almost time for the final planetarium show of the night.
As soon as I walked through the door, my breath hitched. There was Planetarium Girl sitting a few seats into a row midway down the aisle. I took a deep breath—feeling a little nervous all of sudden. What if she thought I was some sort of creep who had followed her here? I tried to remind myself to calm down and play it cool, as I casually made my way down the aisle to her row.
“Can I sit here?” I asked with a slight shrug of my shoulders. She turned and blinked at me with wide, dark eyes. Whether she recognized me or not didn’t show on her face in the slightest. She quirked an eyebrow at me and glanced around at the practically empty planetarium—deserted aside from an older couple about thirty rows over. I fidgeted. Of course she was about to call me out for asking to sit near her when the place was empty.
I chuckled awkwardly, ready to cut my losses and forget the whole thing, when she finally shrugged and muttered, “Okay.” Her voice was monotone—didn’t inspire much confidence that she didn’t mind me sitting near her, but she didn’t say “no” so that was at least something.
As I took my seat, I tried not to stare at her—wracking my brain about where I had seen that wave of dark hair and those thoughtful dark eyes before. Still nothing. I couldn’t for the life of me place her, though she looked extremely familiar to me.
“Do you come to the planetarium often?” I asked. She blinked at me—a bit icy as if she didn’t want to be disturbed. I swallowed hard, but she shrugged curtly.
“Sometimes.”
“I’ve never been before. I work at a restaurant across the street so I’ve been seeing people coming and going from the planetarium all summer and was kind of curious about what all the fuss is about”—I chuckled lightly—”The guy at the ticket counter seems to think this is an amazing show about the moon—a must see, but I guess he’s probably paid to say that…what do you think?”
A pause. “It’s alright.”
“Are you a…rocket scientist or you want to be an astronaut or something or do you just really like space?” The words were awkward. I was mentally kicking myself as soon as they tumbled out of my mouth. What was wrong with me?
Something flickered across Planetarium Girl’s eyes and the expression of her face softened. “No…not me. You?”
I laughed. “Oh heck no. I’m not smart enough for that. I’m barely making it through my classes as it is—there’s no way I’d be able to be a rocket man.”
“Rocket man?” her brow furrowed in confusion but there was something undeniably sad in her eyes.
“Oh no—just like the song, you know? There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s actually pretty cool—it’s just I’m not smart enough for rocket science,” I panicked—words racing and stumbling as I tripped over them. Gosh, I was bad at this. “But it’s totally fine if you are—or if someone is. It’s—it’s actually really cool.”
She blinked but didn’t say anything, and before I could further put my foot in my mouth the lights of the planetarium dimmed marking the beginning of the show. I wasn’t sure if I should be relieved or disappointed.
I had to admit the ticket guy was right—it was a pretty cool planetarium show about the moon though I probably would have enjoyed it more if I wasn’t so busy mentally kicking myself for my awkward conversation with Planetarium Girl. I didn’t even learn her name, and knowing that I would probably forever regret it if I didn’t at least try to introduce myself, I resolved that I’d try to talk to her one last time as soon as the show was over.
“That was pretty good,” I said, turning to her with a slight, lopsided grin when the lights came back on in the planetarium. She shrugged her shoulders. “I can see why you want to come to see it over and over.”
Her dark eyes narrowed, and I cleared my throat—my face growing suddenly warm. “I mean…you…like not you personally but just you as in a person, anyone—someone…” The silence which followed was deafening and I started to panic. I wasn’t sure what to do so I just started rambling, hoping something I said would help salvage the situation. “I’m not a stalker, I promise. I just work across the street and wait the outside tables and so I see people coming and going a lot and you seem to come and go a lot sometimes from the planetarium and you looked really familiar to me so…I would notice sometimes when you passed by because I was trying to figure out…have we met before?”
I managed to cut myself off before I dug the hole any deeper. Planetarium Girl blinked at me, and I could’ve sworn she was going to storm off but she repeated, “I…look familiar to you…?”
Though this was quickly one of the most awkward moments of my life, I somehow managed a quick nod and admitted, “I’m sorry, I don’t know where I know you from, but you do look familiar—I…have we ever met somewhere before?”
There was a long, heavy pause. The dark tile floor was looking more and more inviting to me—maybe if I wished hard enough, I could sink into it.
“No, we haven’t.”
“Oh…” I tripped over my words. Was this whole awkward situation really all for nothing? “Well I feel pretty stupid now...” I rubbed my hand across the back of my neck. “Sorry about that.”
“It’s fine,” she mumbled turning away abruptly from me to gather up her things.
“Have you ever been to the restaurant across the street? I…work there sometimes so maybe—”
“No,” she cut me off.
“Oh okay…well…maybe we just saw each other on the train or something…”
“Maybe.” Bag in hand she stood in front of me blinking—as if waiting for me to move out of her way so she could go.
“Listen, uh…I’m really sorry. I don’t think we got off on the right foot. Can …can we start over?”
There was no response, but I continued anyway—introducing myself properly, mentioning I was a university student and a part-time waiter at the restaurant across the street. I said it was nice to meet her and thanked her for letting me sit next to her, and I asked her name. To be honest, I didn’t really expect her to tell it to me, but she sighed and though she wouldn’t look at me, she replied, “It’s Maki Harukawa.”
“Maki—like a maki roll?” I teased, and she froze—her shoulders stiffening, but she didn’t say anything. Chuckling a little, I continued just to fill the awkward silence. “It’s my favorite kind of sushi. You like sushi, Maki-roll?”
I chuckled teasingly, though instantly regretted it when her eyes widened with something stormy and pained. I may have been overreacting a little, but I could have sworn she looked like she was about to cry. Something twisted in my chest. I had no idea where those words even came from or why I thought they were remotely okay. “Sorry…” I scrambled. “That was just a stupid joke—a bad pun…I…I get into this sushi mode when I’m at work and I—” I stopped. “Sorry, that was really rude of me. I don’t even know why I said that. I—”
“It’s okay,” she interrupted quietly. “I just never thought I’d get to—” She stopped abruptly and turned her whole body away from me—twisting her hair. There was something soft in her eyes—something gentle and kind, almost embarrassed and…bittersweet. “I’ve…I’ve never really been to a sushi restaurant before.”
“Seriously?” I blurted without thinking. Then, cleared my throat. “Well uh…I know you probably hate me now since I’ve been nothing but rude and awkward to you”—I chuckled awkwardly—”But if you don’t completely hate my guts, would you let me buy you a meal across the street? It’s the least I could do.” I shrugged my shoulders and offered her a lopsided grin. “No pressure or anything—just a friendly dinner and an apology for making things awkward…”
Maki sighed. “I don’t know…I…”
I tilted my head and smiled at her—my expression softening. “It’s really good—one of the best sushi places in the city, trust me.”
As I met her eyes, her cheeks flushed pink. Shrugging my shoulders, I held out my hand to her. In a movie or something, this would be the part where I’d say something cheesy like “Do you trust me?” even though I had given her every reason not to trust me. Of course, I knew I was a trustworthy guy, but she didn’t know that.
My fingers twitched as I began to recoil my hand, but Maki took a deep breath and averted her eyes to the ground. “Okay,” she said. My smile widened, but I tried not to look too giddy as she reached out and gave my hand a firm shake. She had killer grip—I really wasn’t expecting that. “But just a few sushi rolls, nothing more.”
“Of course,” I replied with a nod and a smile—blissfully unaware that this one decision would set in motion a chain of events which would lead me here, to this moment where years later, I’m standing in front of her door armed only with my feelings and the truth, remembering how naïve I was, how clueless, how stupid I was back when she was only “Planetarium Girl”, back when I only wanted to get to know her and learn why it was I had this unshakable sense of déjà vu whenever I saw her, back when I didn’t know the truth and didn’t trust my own feelings.
I know the truth now—know I should have trusted my gut instinct, should have known that we had met before…because now, I’m here, staring at the brass doorknob and the dark wood of her front door, wondering how I’m going to tell her that I finally know everything and how I’m going to convince her that it doesn’t change anything. Now, I can only trust that she will believe me when I finally tell her that whether we’re in that world or this one or any universe at all, I love her.

Hi there! I just wanna say i really love your dmc fanfics hehe! Can we have an hc where vergil's s/o is motherly towards nero?
Hello, you lovely being!! Thank you so much to take a little time to tell me how much you like my work, it always puts a smile on my face ^^
I hope you are still around to read what I've worked on! It took me some time, but this was such an entretaining idea, I have even a small scenario I'll post after this hc answered ask. I do hope you like it!!
My headcanons for Vergil's s/o acting motherly towards Nero
Ok, ok. So, Nero isn’t used to someone acting motherly towards him – even though he had an adoptive mother, given how he used to be treated in Fortuna for being different and all his Angry Kid™ antics, he saw her more like “she is the woman who was kind enough to take me in and I should have some respect” then like a loving mother figure;
That being said, he would be completely and utterly lost with Vergil’s s/o behaving like an actual mother;
Nero is going out? “Hey, kiddo, don’t forget your coat.” “Nah, that’s ok, I’m not…” “You might get sick, I’ll be worried. Humor me, please?” And there you go, Vergil’s s/o hands him the coat and Nero is there, just staring at them, with the phrase “they will worry about me” running like a headless chicken around his brain;
“Nero, when you get there, give me a call? Or at least send me a message.” “Why do you guys have to be so controlling, I can take care of myself…!” “I just want to know you got there ok, that’s all. I trust you, kiddo.” And Nero is almost thrown on the floor, crying his eyes out;
200% doesn’t know how to act when someone cares about him;
I mean, he has Kyrie and we all know that woman is an angel on Earth, sent down to cherish his angry cinnamon bun heart and make him know he is loved, but motherly love and lover love are two different things;
And even though Kyrie cares so much about him and does worry about him, Nero experiences first-hand what is like to have a feral creature ready to take someone’s head off if someone messes with their son;
“You sorry excuse of a demon, you will regret the day you thought you could lay your filthy hands on my kid.”
Cue in Nero and Vergil completely flabbergasted, not knowing if they will explode of pride, cry, scream, hug them or do all of that, exactly in that order;
Nero will get annoyed at first, though, because as I put before, he will probably mistake all that care with them not trusting his power (deadweight syndrome strikes again);
And it will take him time to notice they are doing it out of love and protection, not because they don’t believe he can take care of himself. It’s such a foreign feeling, the kid has no clue on how to react;
Read: Nero’s cheeks will get all red, the tip of his ears will tingle, he will put on that “oh, welp” smile of his and start scratching the back of his head because he won’t know what to do with his hands;
“Hmmm… Yeah… I’ll call ya, ‘kay?” He’s almost kicking nothing on the floor to have somewhere to fix his eyes on, the poor boy;
Once he gets used to it, though, expect random displays of affection – such as them kissing the top of his head while he is having breakfast or Nero kissing the top of their head before going out; them asking Nero to run errands and him coming back home all covered in blood and “Hey, are those the eggs you asked?”, things like that.
And with that, I’ll leave you with the scenario on the next post, because I went overboard with it! Hahahaha it’s such a great prompt, so I hope you like it!
Thank you so much for suggesting and for reading my works!!
