Instead of a repeat of one time thing I decided to include my 11th top song, strangers by the airborne toxic event. lovely writer people, how long does it take for you to write x amount of words?

like for example, i call a productive writing session 3-4k words over 2-3hrs, which includes time taken to research as you write and such (the synonym rabbithole is real)

but i feel like that's not very much?? idk how people write a lot in short periods, sometimes i can do 2k in 30mins to 1hr if it's just plain writing with no fancy description or flowery nonsense that i usually do, but writing fully always takes me several hours

#the engagement party oneshot is an outlier #i created the whole plot in my head while listening to roller band songs repeatedly for a week #that was a fever dream #idk how long that took to write bc i wasn't conscious #also if it's plot heavy it's faster to write #inner monologues take time #just curious bc all my fav ao3 authors have insane wordcounts #am i slow or do yall just never sleep
