Finally saw everything everywhere all at once and yeah, it is the best movie ever made, you guys were right about that one

Do you think after the Promare left, Lio had to deal with feeling vulnerable?  Not emotionally, but physically?  The guy is tiny, but while he had his powers he would have always been aware that if push came to shove, he could reduce any non-Burnish human in the world to little more than a pile of impure charcoal.  He wouldn’t do it, but it was possible.  And now it’s not.

I wonder if afterward, he’d go through a period of being hyper-aware of how many people have a significant height and weight advantage on him.  He’d need to learn how to fight without his flames.  How to handle fighting when he can no longer just tank a few hits since his flames would heal the injuries almost immediately.

Like, there would be a lot of things he’d need to adjust to, but I don’t think I’ve seen any fics dealing with the loss of the built-in safety net specifically.

Zagreus would die fighting 100 times in a row to win something, even if it was a 5 dollar Walmart gift card.

Really enjoying Ethan Peck’s version of Spock in Strange New Worlds! Sure, it’s definitely an adjustment to see a much more outwardly emotional Spock but, for me at least, Peck’s Spock voice resonates. (It’s also a resonant voice in general) Like, it’s not a perfect imitation of Nimoy’s Spock (nor should it be) but the qualities around the inflections, cadences, even bits of Peck’s word pronunciation does conjure TOS!Spock. It’s really nice to hear and helps the emotionality feel less jarring.
