𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲: matt’s been on tour for about a month, meaning he hasn’t seen or done anything with you in a month. he takes matters into his own hands when he’s finally alone, but he does need your help with it.

it’s friday night and you’re sitting in your best friend’s living room. the two of you and other close friends come together some weekends to hang out. you guys have been laughing, drinking (despite being underage by a year), watching TV, or playing games. in the middle of laughing, you feel your phone buzz repeatedly underneath your thigh. you lift your leg to retrieve it, seeing an incoming phone call from your boyfriend matt.

“hey, sorry. mind if i take this?” you ask the group, lifting your phone so they can see the screen.

“not at all.” your best friend smiles.

you get up from the couch. “thanks. continue the game without me.”

you speed walk to the bathroom and close the door accepting the call and bringing it to your ear. “hello?”

“hey.” he breathes out.

“hey, you.” you smile. “how are you doing?”

“fine,” he says. he’s silent for a beat before speaking again. “sorry i didn’t talk to you much today. it’s been busy, but we just finished the tampa show.”

you haven’t seen matt in over a month because he’s been touring with his brothers across the country. you couldn’t be more proud, but you guys miss each other like crazy.

“did you win?”

“damn right i did, baby,” he says hoarsely. he sounds a bit strange to you, but you shrug it off as exhaustion. doing shows almost every day can wear somebody out.

but oh boy are you wrong.

on the other line, matt sits on his bed in the tour bus with his hand wrapped around his dick. your recent post on instagram is displayed on his screen as you talk about your day on the other end, having no clue what’s happening.

the post consists of you posing, wearing a short navy blue dress. your tits practically spilled out of the top.

“…was crazy.” you finish. “anyway, is tour fun so far? it’s almost over already.”

“you’re being risky, matthew.” you say teasingly, a whine escaping his lips. he prefers being called matt, but with you, matthew rolls perfectly off of your tongue. “where’s everybody else, hm?”

“at the store,” he says shakily, his hand pumping faster. he takes his thumb and twirls it around his red tip where pre-cum is threatening to spew out. “i need to cum so bad.”

“then do it, baby. pretend it’s me making you feel so good,” you say seductively, biting your lip as you hear his sounds of pleasure.

you get that familiar feeling in your core, but because you’re at a friend's, you’ll feel weird doing it in her bathroom.

you bring the phone back up to your ear to hear a sigh of “holy fuck” fall from his mouth.

“i need to fuck your tits so bad.” he groans, throwing his head back as he tries to reach his second orgasm.

you bite your lip to hide your smile, enjoying this a little too much. the wet noises on the other line drive you insane.

it was either that, or he'd be the dad to embarrass his daughter by bringing her the supplies she needed during her prom (lmao)

knew about prom in advance, since he was the one that insisted he help her pick out an outfit.

did he have a clue what he was talking about? no, but he wanted to be included.

"which dress did you choose, mi cielo?" definitely made her twirl and show pics of what his date was wearing, especially if they planned on matching <3

made his daughter triple check that her phone was charged, that she had her wallet, etc. he wanted it to be a perfect night for her.

similar to soap, was chaperoning but not through the school. gave them a ride to every spot, then took them out for dinner afterward.

didn't formally meet his daughter's date up until then, but trusted that his kid was going with someone responsible.

sat at a neighboring table but gave them the privacy to hang out and enjoy their meal.

had a brief conversation when dropping the date off at home, then told his daughter she was free to visit whenever <3

let's be honest, he's probably clueless. oh, she's going with a girl? that's nice, no need to worry about interrogating a boy!!

definitely arrange it so his daughter's date can have dinner with them before, maybe even drive them to the venue himself.

AUGH THANK U ok lets see!!!!

First impression: I think I saw him first in The Long Halloween (comic). LOVED how he argued with the Scarecrow :] After the Long Halloween and Dark Victory, I went to Haunted Knight and got really happy to see an entire chapter dedicated to this lil guy

Impression now: *Excited yelling whenever he appears on scream, pointing at my pc, shouting THAT'S MY GUY when that bigass hat makes an appearance. Kicking my legs and flipping my desk*

Favourite moment: His snippet of appearance in Arkham City, absolutely. It hit me absolutely out of nowhere. I was freaking out /pos and when I saw that familiar, haunting silhouette I just completely lost my shit. Great visuals, great voice, impeccable cut inbetween my quests. Definitely solidified his place as my second favourite rogue, for sure

Idea for a story: OOOH this is a hard one. I'm an visual artist moreso than a writer, but if I had to write something, I'd make something in the style of "Perchance to dream" from BTAS, that is just as unnerving, and just as unbidden as his sidequest in Arkham City. Something where you don't realize what's going on and have to piece together the clues long before you realize that Tetch is behind all of this. It just fits him so damn well.

Unpopular opinion: UH ok so i dont know a lot about what Are the popular opinions LMAO so let me try and have a jab at this. Jervis is genuinely dangerous. From what I've seen so far there's not a lot of emphasis that this little guy can pose a serious threat, and while his goals are barely focused on Big Murder Plans like most rogues, I feel like he's more of a punching bag, or treated a lot like flavouring. Don't underestimate this little guy!

Favourite relationship: Honestly this could be interpreted as either romantic or not romantic, and I like both of them, but I found it hilarious/fun how he and Scarecrow are so close in both the Long Halloween comic and movies. Scarecrow actually responding to his mad ramblings with nursery rhymes of his own. It's a very fun detail that I think about a lot :)

Favourite headcanon: Because he has his tea set in the greenhouse in Arkham Asylum, I like to think he is allowed to have tea there, under supervision, if good behaviour permits :) It's a cute little detail that is mostly there only for riddler trophy reasons, but.. imagine!

Creepypasta headcanons; What are Clockwork and Toby's opinions on the other pastas in my AU?

Opinions on: Slenderman

Toby: Toby, at first, was at the very least extremely uneasy around him but as he got more used to living with everyone in the cabin and killing for Slenderman, he began to respect him for 'saving his life'. Toby doesn't really believe anymore that there was any other option for him than serving Slender and getting to let his built up rage out through murder.

Clockwork: At first, she hated him. Still not down from the adrenaline of being able to murder whoever she wanted whenever she wanted, she was sort of pissed. Though, she didn't have to follow his rules and she could go wherever she wanted within the forest, she decided to stay in the main cabin cuz she was interested in Toby (not romantically yet, sort of like bird watchers. she was the bird watcher to his bird at first)

Opinions on: Jeff

Toby: Toby thinks Jeff is scary as fuck. He doesn't think he's scary in a "he could beat me up" way (cuz Toby could kick his ass with or without weapons) He just doesn't like the way Jeff's cut cheek skin flabs around when he speaks and his lack of eyelids is pretty weird too. They rarely talk, despite living together.

Clockwork: Clocky and Jeff get along. I have a headcanon that Jeff's mom was going to have a child after Liu but she miscarried so Natalie feels like the younger sister he never had while Clocky who already had an older brother, sees Jeff as a cooler replacement. They play Mario Kart together with BEN sometimes (no-one knows how they get wifi or how theyre not being tracked lmao) They bicker and fight like siblings too.

Opinions on: Jane

Toby: Jane is one of the few who doesn't live in the main cabin (she lives with Liu and sometimes Nina) Jane has the advice and general sisterly behaviour that reminds him of Lyra. Often, he'll leave the main cabin at night and walk all night/day to find her to get advice and she doesn't mind, being around him gives a bit of normalcy.

Clockwork: She doesn't have much of an opinion on her but she knows that Toby trusts her so she doesn't mind. She doesn't think Jane really poses much of a threat to Jeff anyway.

Opinions on: Nina

Toby: He thinks she's kinda weird and he sees her a lot when she breaks into the main cabin to beg Jeff to date her. Sometimes she'll go to him for advice after he started dating Clockwork, he dooesn't know how he bagged her though, eventually she just threw him over shoulder and he wasn't complaining. Nina tried to literally throw Jeff over her shoulder after he told her that jokingly and nearly broke her ankle

Clockwork: Nina has gone to Natalie for romance advice too but she doesn't give it. Instead they just sort of hang out and Nat keeps her away from Jeff as a cover. At first, she was just helping Jeff but began actually enjoying spending time with Nina, they're fairly close.

Opinions on: Liu

Toby: He sees him sometimes when he goes to find Jane but has no clue who he is cuz he doesn't talk at all when anyone he doesn't live with is around

Clockwork: Because Jeff thinks he's dead, Natalie thinks so too

Opinions on: BEN

Toby: They're fond of each other but distant, they'll certainly play video games together, though!

Clockwork: Hangs out with him sometimes cuz of Jeff, she thinks he's okay

Yuji at first flirts with what he thinks is subtle signs of liking you, but isn't very subtle at all to anyone else

Like randomly grabbing your hand during movies, offering to share food with you and no one else, hugging you, cuddling you, he's basically your unofficial boyfriend

Is suuuper clingy. Always wants to hang out with you, always inviting you over, and for movie nights, and to go eat sushi and browse candy shops with you, etc.

He thinks his flirting style is fine, working in his favor even

But, when Gojo catches on, he's going to try to change his flirting style

"Yuji-kun! You must be suave!" Gojo says dramatically, striking a pose, sparkles appearing around him.

'Where did the sparkles come from...?' Yuji thought before nodding vehemently, striking the exact same pose Gojo is in. "Yes, Gojo-sensei!"

Gojo will try to get Yuji to use pickup lines, but doesn't...coach him on good ones

So Yuji will look up weird ass pickup lines...very basic cringy ones

He'll even pull the yawn and stretch on you, although he does that even before the pickup lines

But the lines make him seem like he either likes you a lot, or doesn't like you at all and is playing a joke

It makes you lay off your own signs, and Yuji is distraught when he notices

He whines to Megumi about it, who then calls him an idiot for following Gojo's advice

"Does Gojo-sensei have a partner?!" Megumi yells.

"No..." Yuji pouts, rubbing his head after Megumi hit him.

"Then don't ask him for partner advice!" Megumi yelled again.

Overall, poor Yuji tries his hardest :(

This one has no fucking clue how to go about dating, let alone flirting

Of course he's not going to ask the other, as he affectionately calls them, losers how to flirt with you. None of them have partners

The only one he would really ask advice from, is Nobara. And that's a last resort

He remembers what happened when he tried giving that girl directions...

Actually scratch that, he's not asking Nobara for shit-

He's determined to do this on his own, while also keeping it a secret from the others

The last thing he needs is another dramatic scene

He'll probably flirt with you in the form of complimenting you, especially when you're alone

Overall he's really shy with it, and will usually sport a small blush as he compliments you

Fun fact, I have a fear of wide eyes so this man scared the shit out of me at first. But besties now I think hes hot as FUCK

Gojo is all suave when he flirts with you

He also gets really handsy when he does

He loves grabbing your hand as he flirts with you

If you reciprocate his advances, he's going to be very confident and kiss your cheek

Will probably stop at nothing to make you all flustered by the time he's done with you for the day

Probably talks about you to other people, but you'll never know this information

Nanami will probably try to save you, since his idea of the worst punishment ever is being in a relationship with Gojo. He is not nice to this man

"why do u dislike the dragunov/raven story so much?"

thats easy, this man who i just call sergei is one of the most neglected characters story wise i have seen, its bad enough how from all the existing endings, I love this character so much but this is so frustrating

only one ending from all of them is canon (one of the tekken 7 ones) i dont know if maven survived yet, no clue, who knows if she didn't and raven wants revenge or some shit??? even tho she is kind of a dick (she calls raven an imbecile lmao)

the tekken 5 ending isn't canon because he didnt capture devil jin but still added this cliff hanger with the glowing eyes wich is fucking stupid, people kept wondering what that thing is but it doesn't matter because THIS ENDING ISNT CANON

both tekken 6 endings aren't because he didn't beat the big monster (I cant spell his name and idc)

the TTT2 isn't because, bruh why, alisa is working for jin and her dad, sergei is against jin, but the concept is shit too, I hate it and the comments people make about it (replace her with jack and jane helps or something, problem solved) i dont even like alisa, or this combination, i dont take criticism lmao

not even any special team win poses, no alternative interactions, just alisa? thats all? wow thanks namco we dont talk about bryan btw I hate him too, gross ass character

its so stupid how at least raven I had somewhat a relevance in the main story, but when it comes to the focus on his confrontations with sergei, nothing happens, he tried to stop him in tekken 5 and ended up getting stomped, yea thats the ending for ya

he tried to stop him in tekken 6, it only ends with one of them getting away and the other one doesnt, but thats also where it ends, the outcome of him trying to solve the issue in russia that was going on isnt explained, like bitch I DONT KNOW, TEKKEN 7 JUST CUTS TO HIM BEING SENT HERE AGAIN BUT NOBODY EXPLAINS SHIT

BRUH i remember getting excited in late 2014 about the big announcement that is this game, waited 3 years, just to see it once again, this time its a woman, she just appears and tries to stop him, but from what? ah right they never cared to explain, it just ends again with one person winning and the other one doesnt, its tekken 6 all over again

these two had a backstory on how they met, yea I kept waiting for further details and got sick of it, I dont care anymore

thats my concern for tekken 8, just this big pile of nothing again, or is there some effort for once? i doubt it, its like watching tom and jerry, iust chasing eachother

i give up, to me this lore died, this is why this isnt even canon to me and I just try to find a alternative way that could work well, no ravens, im just doing my own fun concept with it now and think of what could work instead with sergei

This took a lot longer than I would’ve liked it to be I think I just turned this into a massive analysis rather than a simple ask game lmao.

Es 1: definitely this line.

“Ravaging, brawling, losers please exit left

Even with accusations full of faults and mistakes

You will for sure, with a smile for sure

Be pleased and satisfied”

This is clearly talking about the audience and it’s really interesting. I know the chorus does as well but how this appears in the scene where all the prisoners cover their mouths while their images are projected onto the rooms, then lift their hands down and smile is especially haunting.

The idea of “ravaging, brawling, losers please exit left” has a lot of interpretations. It could be the prisoners fighting amongst themselves, or in my opinion the audience fighting among themselves over the prisoners verdicts and stuff. I still don’t really understand what “losers please exit left” means as it’s so ambiguous, it’s like I’ve got tiny little ideas of what it could mean but I have no clue how to say, or even properly think about it.

“Even with accusations full of faults and mistakes.” Is a lot easier to understand. It’s talking about how us, as the audience, can be heavily biased by stuff and make dire mistakes on the characters and how heavily that can impact the verdict. Like with trial 1 kazui the main idea is that he was cheating and that’s how the stuff happened, although we were wrong and it had nothing to do with his situation. Lots of verdicts on prisoners aren’t based off factual evidence but just “I think statements”. If I remember correctly alot of people were voting yuno guilty in the first trial not because of what she actually did, but because they thought her attitude was strange and that she was secretly evil or whatever. And the opposite happening saying the at she was completely clueless and innocent. So this line fits perfectly for everything going on.

“You will for sure, with a smile for sure

Be pleased and satisfied.” This is probably the most chilling line to me. It straight up says how in the end, milgram is a piece of media meant to entertain people. You will be satisfied engaging in the media, even if you didn’t get your intended verdict. But this poses the question, is this ethical to the characters? Having fun judging them, theorising every little bit of their mind that was extracted through their MVs. The secrets they don’t want us to know, they’re online for millions to theorise about, and may make false accusations and mistakes in their judgment. Fuuta directly calls on this saying that es is the same as him, having fun analysing this prisoners and judging their morality, just like what he did online.

These few sentences are easily overlooked and only appear for a little while but they are so packed with meaning and meta commentary it’s amazing.

Also side note I find it interesting how es speaks in “you” instead of “I” like the other prisoners, like they’re directly talking to us. It’s like the whole mv is directed at us, because it is. But does es know?

Es 3: ooh this is hard I’d have to say a tie between these 2.

This is one of the commissioned fanart of the characters I think, and I love how menacing es looks here. If you’ve never seen milgram you’d probably assume that es is the main villain or whatever. And although es is technically the protagonist, it’d be really interesting for es to be a villain. A mysterious character who has no memory of their past and entire identity is being the guard of this mysterious prison. And their judgments aren’t even really their own, it’s the will of thousands of people who know the characters deepest secrets. This makes me wonder if we’re ever gonna have to cast a vote on es…

Ok rambling aside I really love the red circle and greenish background and mist (?) it just really gives off that iconic vibe that I love about the series.

The other one I really like is this one from the app. It feels both peaceful and surreal of es asleep, with jackalope sitting on their cape and a water ripple which really shouldn’t be there. It gives a unique vibe to this piece and a side of es we don’t really see, and the full colours here fit really well.

Es 5: ooh this is also pretty hard as es has alot of voice drama moments so it’s really hard to pick a favorite moment or line or whatever.

Definitely a longer scene but probably my favorite is near the end of baptism of fire when es expresses sympathy for fuuta and the other prisoners. Saying that since they’ve been by their side for a while and looked into their hearts they’re no longer strangers to them and seeing fuuta in pain makes them begin to regret their actions. Es says how they’re starting to think of the prisoners more as comrades than suspicious strangers. They say that it’s a pity, but the bell rings and their attitude completely changes. Es finishes off the sentence with “that I’m the warden” and says no matter how much pain fuuta’s been going through, he can’t escape justice. Acting a lot more “logical” (if that’s the right word) and saying that they don’t care about fuuta apologising. Fuuta gets extremely upset at this, as es, who was showing him compassion and sympathy earlier, suddenly changed and started putting him down, which lead fuuta to have a panic attack In probably one of my favorite scenes in all the voice dramas.

This is a really interesting scene for es’ character because we start to see a side of them we haven’t before. A more human side, as opposed to the cold, logical minded warden they were conditioned to be. But when the bell rings, everything changes and they go back to that state. Making me think that the bell could have some affect on es, as it reminds me of times when es starts breaking down when asked about the nature of their identity and the prison itself. This is such great characterisation I can’t.

Amane 5: “Furthermore, isn't it condescending of you to assume that just because I happen to be a child, I am incapable of hating someone enough to kill them?”

This line in Apostle and Death is really interesting, as despite how much Amane says but murder was purely of faith, she basically revealed part of her motive here. @purgemarchlockdown did a really good analysis on this line saying she’s presenting it as a hypothetical, but it’s what actually happened.

Amane’s murder likely has multiple reasons, yes faith is a big part in her motive but I think the main point that drove her to murder was pure hate. She’s trying to cover it up for whatever reason but the truth is revealing itself. She’s said a lot in the VDs and the interrogation questions that it was just a punishment in line with faith, but the purge march contradicts it with much more emotion heavy lyrics.

A honourable mention would be “You know, I’m aware that I’m out of the ordinary.” From of blessedness and punishment. I don’t know why but I think about that line a lot.

Amane 6: I already answered this question in a previous ask but to sum it up it’s Amane and fuuta because their characters have so many parallels to each other, and it looks like they’re gonna become friends in canon because they’ve been interacting a lot lately. And it appears fuuta is taking religious ideas from Amane which would be a really interesting plot point and would reveal alot about his mindset.

Amane 8: Amane’s crime is probably one of the hardest to grasp for me, like have general consensus on what happened but there’s a bunch of little tidbits and oddities that feel really important but I have no idea where they go in the timeline. I think it started with the cat getting injured, but magic makes it confusing as that cat didn’t have a collar, got injured on the head and was injured by a falling light (likely representative of the happy facade of the cult breaking, so I think how the cat got injured is very important). Amane seemed to always to go the place where the cat was, and she was spotted fixing up the cat’s leg. It’s very likely that this was her breaking the “'Tis ordained, thou shall follow thine destiny” rule. But what’s confusing that in the purge march is that in that scene she fails the flag throw for “'Tis ordained, thou shall discard vulgarity” and gets promptly punished for it. This happens before the scene with the cat, which ends with electrical torture, which would fit with the first rule as we see in magic. But we have no idea how she broke that 2nd rule, and it’s very likely that’s where she started building up hate. Magic also implies she broke all the rules but we only really know about the one with the cat.

It definitely seems from interrogation question trial 2 no 17 she killed her mother, as she said “my mother should have kept her faith until the very end.” This could imply that Amane’s mother disobeyed the cult in one way or another? I’ve seen speculation as that killing the cat is again also interfering with destiny, that could be what amane means. But the way she worded it implies that her mom was actively trying to leave the cult somehow.

Another thing I think is interesting is what amane said in interrogation question t2 no 17

Q: what do the people you respect think about your sin?

A: I just followed what I’ve been taught, so obviously they’ll praise me and tell me I did well.

I’ve already stayed that I think amanes murder is mostly emotion driven, but also has aspects of her religion in it. I’m not sure if she’s trying to convince herself that’s the case or something like that actually happened. But it’s interesting to think that she’s lying about it and trying to say that she did it for he faith to not beat herself up over it.

Amane 9: personally I’ll forgive her crime on its own. She’s only 12, and had a clear motive that stems from abuse even if some themes of her “needing to do it” were involved, but I suggested that could be a coping mechanism. Amane’s had a very hard life and we know that she can lash out at people in rage, as seen in the second voice drama in which she got so angry she attempted to attack es with scissors she bought in earlier. I’m not gonna talk about that because it’s somewhat off topic, but the environment that lead up to Amane killing is understandable. She’s not malicious in her intent at all, she’s broken by the people around her, and this is her lashing out at one of her abusers. Punishing her for what she did is only going to make things worse, so id forgive her murder on her own.

Amane 10: it’s kinda confusing. In trial 2 I’d still forgive her, both with the reasoning I gave in the previous post and how subjecting her to more mental torment will completely break her to no return.

In trial 1 it’s a lot more difficult because even though I was not there, the choice is really hard. I’d still say forgive, as looking back on it we’ve uncovered how bad it was to Amane’s mental state and our hypocrisies in voting. But if I was there back then I probably would’ve voted her guilty. When I was watching milgram for the first time in chronological order, I somewhat agreed with that because she was so expecting that she’d be forgiven and it’s just another trial to get through, and we assumed at that point it was purely due to religious motives.

Again looking back on it now after the purge march, I would forgive her back then but it’s still a difficult choice.

The One Where They Go To An Escape Room

Summary: GVF try to make some more content for their YT channel and decide to try an escape room. Chaos ensues.

This is inspired by a random post I made & it kept playing in my head so I thought I’d try and write it. Not the best but hope it makes you smile haha also never been to an escape room, so just squint with me lmao

Words: 2500-3k ish

warnings: swearing lol, mention of drinking/being drunk, and them being their chaotic selves.

“We got some comments, that our fans wanted us to do more videos of us just….well um, being us?” Jake spoke to the camera then looked around to the others to check what he was saying was in fact, correct. The others nodded along with a few affirming ‘yeahs’.

“So, for you guys we decided to film ourselves trying out an escape room.” Danny smiled widely and looked to Sam who was about to deliver the next line.

“As you know we like to do many things, but we really haven’t tried this before right guys?” He looked around to the rest who said something in in agreement along with Josh letting out, “I’m surprised to be honest”.

Josh clapped his hands together and grinned at the camera, “Let’s dance! Shall we?” And he did a theatrical pose before the camera stopped recording.

The guys all smiled to one another, mumbling about how excited they were as they were ushered down a hallway. “So guys, we have cameras set up already in the room to keep tabs on you to make sure you don’t do anything crazy.”

“Yeah get the fire extinguisher ready.” Josh commented before he broke out into a laugh, lifting his shoulders.

“And we have other cameras sat around that will be able to record for the video. Find the code to unlock the door again. Once you have finished the escape room, we will record your time and take a victory photo!” The girl spoke excitedly before going over rules and regulations. Finishing her little speech that she has perfected and memorizes with a, “Have fun and good luck!” The guys all beamed at her, said thanks and shuffled in the room.

“I’ll get us out under 10 minutes.” Sam said with a smug smile as they got in the room. The twins looked at each other as he strode into the room, ready to make the room his bitch.

Danny looked around the room before his eyes went to the door that just locked behind him. “Well, here we go!” He laughed

Sam had his hands on his hips and was looking around the corners of the rooms, nothing odd only the cameras.

Jake spotted a bookcase over on the far wall, about to suggest they go check it out for any books that have clues, but stopped when Josh yelled. “The rug!”

All eyes went from the curly haired man to the rug. It was an antique oriental rug that was well past it’s prime but the one corner was flipped over.

Sam’s eyes looked from the rug to his older brother. “The rug?”

“The corner. Look at the damn corner! It’s turned over.” He looked at Danny who shrugged and asked, “You think it’s a clue?”

Josh rolled his eyes. “This place is going to be FILLED with cryptic clues and weird shit. We gotta look for the non-obvious stuff!” As he finished rambling on he threw himself to the floor, Jake automatically jolted to go help him only to stop himself when he watched his twin move his head several times as if trying to angle the corner of the turned rug to a hidden clue.

“Okay.” Jake said flatly and left him to it as his eyes scanned the room. He noticed a small hole on the opposite wall, lifting his hand to point at it, making Sam and Danny both notice. Sam stepped over Josh, who was sprawled on the floor, and pushed Jake out of the way. “Look! Look what I found!”

“Stupid fucking rug.” Josh gritted out, still on the floor.

Jake sighed but followed his little brother over to the wall, who was now prodding it with a finger. “You think it’s a spy hole or summin’?”

Jake shrugged. “Maybe?” He stopped watching Sam prod the hole. His eyes looked back to the bookcase.

“This is going to take me longer than 10 fucking minutes.” Sam was getting annoyed and it had only been 5 minutes since it started.

25 minutes later.

Danny looked at the papers on the large wooden table. Nothing helpful on the papers, really, until he realized that by picking them up, a very faint scratched arrow was etched into the wood. Danny followed to where it was pointing to, which was to one of the light fixtures.

He went to tell the others but stopped when Sam let out, “This hole has something to do with finding a clue I just fucking know it!”

Josh, at this point, had stood up, still looking at the rug. “I’ll come back to you.” He pointed at it before he looked around the room, his eyes fell on the book shelf his twin looked at earlier. A wide grin spread on his face.

Jake was trying to calm Sam down but he wasn’t having it, this room was FIXED they hadn’t found any clues yet and he was sick of it already, “We could be at a bar right now. We should have done this drunk. Imagine how fun that would have been?” Jake smirked, “We can barely do this shit sober, let alone drunk.”

Sam waved him off. “No, we would have been better at this!”

Danny already found 2 hidden numbers for something. The light fixture on the wall had a very small 20 hidden behind one of the shades and another arrow that pointed to a collection of picture frames. A red 6 was hidden on the 5th one he turned over. He smiled to himself as the other two were yelling at each other about being sober or drunk. Danny checked another photo frame and saw the word “chairs” written in red.

Sam took his shoes off. “That’s better. I can think properly now.” He walked over to the table Danny was at before and looked at the papers that had random words circled, narrowing his eyes at them.

Jake shook his head a little and finally approached the bookcase. As his eyes went from book to book before he noticed some titles on the spines were worn away, the gold or silver foil, long gone while some words remained, almost too perfectly. He opened one of the books that had the word, “Here” on the spine and flipped through the pages to see if he could find anything. He turned around to Sam, who was now GRIPPING the papers on the table and let out an angry “I DON’T GET IT! WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?!”

His attention was brought back to the bookcase when he felt it move. He moved back a little as it began to shake.

“What the fuck?!” He quickly looked up when he noticed his twin’s legs.

Josh had somehow climbed to the top of the bookcase and was now trying to get back down, making the whole thing shake. Jake quickly threw the book back on the shelf and gripped his brothers waist to help him. “The fuck you doing, Josh?”

His twin belted out a loud laugh. “Getting clues!”

Once he was back on his feet, he grinned widely as the others all gathered around. “What did you find for me?” Sam asked, still holding the papers.

Jake laughed softly at how annoyed his younger brother was getting but kept his eyes on Josh.

“This!” He held up between his two fingers. It was a very small ripped off corner from some paper covered in dust.

“I think that’s just trash.” Jake let out eyeing the paper.

Josh narrowed his eyes, “No. It’s a clue! Why else would it be up there?”

Danny cleared his throat a little, “I hate to tell you, dude, but I think Jake’s right. I don’t think anyone would be crazy enough to scale that giant bookcase, so putting something up there would be dangerous and unnecessary.”

“I’m sick of this! None of these papers make any sense! These notes are rambles of a mad man.” Sam was holding the papers out to the others.

“Well, I just found this book, and nothing was strange until I found the only word to circled was table, so maybe there is a clue to do with it or on the table?”

Danny’s eyes lit up. “I went over those notes too, but I found an arrow on the table!”

Jake and Danny smiled at each other. Finally, at least two of them were actually trying to solve this. He was about to tell Jake about the next clue he found that had something to do with a chair but stopped when Sam threw the papers back onto the table and went over the photo frames Danny had already looked over.

He wanted to tell him he had already found the clue there but left him to it so he would find something.

“There’s another shelf thing over there.” Josh spoke to himself before going over to it.

“Wait! No! Do not fucking climb that thing!” Jake went after him.

Danny stood looking around again. They had the numbers 6 and 20 and a clue about chairs. He pursed his lips, thinking as he stared at the chairs around the table and then around the room. There were so many but which one? Was it the only one he should look for or all of them?

Josh was gripping onto the top of the other bookshelf as Jake was holding his legs. “Hoist me up!”

Jake was yelling back at him that he was crazy and to stop doing this shit because he’ll end up falling and breaking something. They began to bicker to each other before Sam joined in to yell at them just because he was getting annoyed.

Danny watched the three brothers. Nothing new really, yelling or talking over each other, he just turned back to the table.

“Guys.” He let out. Nope, nothing. He looked over and saw how Josh was now sat perfectly on top of the shelf , smiling widely as he watched his other brothers bicker to each other and at him as he sat there.

“Guys!” He shouted making everyone come to an abrupt stop and stare at him.

“I’ve already found three clues but may have found a forth. So stop yelling at each other, and Josh get down from that thing.”

Once Josh scaled down the book shelf, they all joined Danny at the table. “This arrow points towards the lights-“

“I know, I saw that and went to check it out, but there’s nothing there.” Sam cut him off.

“I found the number 20 and another arrow pointing to the photo frames.”

Sam let out of small “Oh.” And let his friend carry on.

“After looking behind each one, I found the number 6 and the word ‘chairs’”

Josh immediately started whipping his head around the room, looking at the chairs. “Let’s turn them all upside down!” Without even waiting for anyone to say anything, off he went.

Jake was looking down at the arrow on the table. He quickly started to gather all the items on it into one pile so the wood could be seen clearly. “There’s another arrow pointing to the book shelf and say’s Here, which is the book I found that had the word table circled multiple times, so…. another clue is on the table?”

Danny stood next to him as they both looked at the two arrows.

Josh turned over every chair in the room but found nothing. “Nope, nothing, nada.” His attention went back to the corner of the rug, his eye twitched a little.

“Josh, how many chairs did you check?” Jake asked.

“About seven? I think?”

Sam stood there, counting them. “Yeah, seven.”

Jake nodded and then looked back to the book shelf. The ‘here’ book had perfect foiled text on it’s spine along with the only other book which read ‘Now’.

He patted Danny on the chest and quickly went over to the shelf. “I think there’s another book clue.”

Danny followed him while the other two looked at each other. “I swear the rug is a clue.” Josh said to Sam, who looked back down to the folded corner and started to poke the rug with his foot.

Jake picked up the book and began to scan through it, flipping through not too fast but not exactly slow either. He almost missed it until Danny said, “There!” On the page, the single word ‘candle’ was circled in red ink.

Jake looked at Danny, who smiled and immediately turned around to scan the room for a candle. “Boys! Look for a candle!” Jake let out as he returned the book to the shelf.

Sam stopped flipping the corner of the rug back and forth and started looking around.

“Maybe it’s on top of something-“ Josh was cut off with a loud, “NO!” From Jake.

Sam looked around the room, his eyes falling on the light fixtures. Some were switched on while some were not. His feet slapped against the wooden floor, and he walked over to them, peering over the top of the light shades. Maybe, just maybe….he let out an annoyed noise when he found the first 3 he looked at all had bulbs, until the 4th had a candle stuck into the fixture.

“YES!” He screamed, gripping the candle and yanking it free. “LOOK! I FOUND A CLUE! I told you I’d get us out of here!”

Jake stood smiling at his brother as Josh barked out a laugh, “Yeah, and if I recall, you said under 10 minutes? It’s been at least an hour.”

Sam held out the candle with an annoyed look but ignored him, “I think there’s something hidden in the candle. Now we need something to burn this fucker with.” He shook the item at the rest of the group as he scanned the room.

Josh took the candle from his brothers hand, “Maybe we don’t even need that…”

Before Sam could even ask what the hell he meant, his older brother began to chew at the candle. “Josh!”

Jake and Danny rushed over to find the curly haired man gnawing at the candle, trying his best to get to whatever was inside. “Not your teeth, Josh.” Danny commented.

Josh had bitten right into it and took off some chunks to whatever was hidden inside. He began to try and snap it in half. “Give it here!” Jake let out since now Josh was spitting out pieces of wax.

Gently, Jake cracked off the best he could of the wax and found a little plastic tube. He grinned to the fest of them as he popped it open.

Inside was a rolled up piece of paper.

“Oh, it’s literally like you’re a real pirate now.” Sam chuckled as Jake grinned to him and unrolled the paper.

“Your name is freedom.” He read out before lifting an eyebrow to the clue.

“Your name? Whose name? My name?” Sam commented perplexed.

“Wait, I found a 6 and 20, right?” Danny walked over to the door they came through and looked at the keypad that they were told to find a code to unlock. “Maybe the numbers are the code to the door, so-“ he suddenly stopped speaking.

“What is it?” Josh asked as he followed after him.

“It’s not numbers, it’s letters.” The taller man turned to look at him then back at the keypad.

“Wait, why don’t we use our names? And just see if one opens the door?” Sam suggested walking over to the keypad and poking in S-A-M. The lights to the room suddenly turned red along with a loud siren blaring. “Attempt 1 out of 3” a voice played out in the room.

“Shit.” Josh, let out.

“Two more that’s it!?” Danny yelled out over the siren.

“I’m going to go deaf if we wait in here any longer!!!” Sam yelled.

Jake was having a hard time thinking while the siren was blaring and the other three were yelling out ideas to each other, someone said input a random object like candle, another was a colour, and someone said initials. Jakes head snapped up. “Boys! What numbers were found again??”

The siren had thankfully stopped as everyone looked at Danny, who confirmed again that he found 6 and 20. Jake furrowed his brow a little. “And the clue chairs didn’t give us anything, other than the amount of chairs in the room, which is 7." Josh added.

“The numbers are a name!” Sam screamed again. Jake clapped his head and gritted out a “Yes!”

“6 is F.” Danny smiled. “20 is V.” Sam added. “ And 7 is G.” Jake finished.

Sam just went ahead and typed it in only for the siren to go off again. “Ah shit!”

“Attempt 2 out of 3.” The voice announced.

“Sammy, really?” Josh grinned to his little brother and punched in the code. The siren turned off, the red lights went back to normal, and the door unlocked.

“It’s us! GVF!” He laughed out as he opened the door. “Well done, boys! Let’s go home.” Jake slapped a hand on Danny’s back as they all chatted and laughed together. “I swear that rug was still a clue somehow.”

Sam rolled his eyes with a laugh before grabbing his shoes and followed the res of the group, letting out another comment before the door closed behind him.

“I told you I’d get us out of there.”

For anyone curious with my screens, since I’m not here to ‘compete’ and I think sharing (even a small bit) is what makes us humble and able to grow. Also to kinda debunk that I have any actual talent lol

I don’t use photoshop or CSP. I actually just use SAI cuz I’m lame lol. I hand edit in there.

Clarity is generally due to the preset which is LeoLights (I adore these and abuse them a lot). Since A’murr is darker toned, it can be a challenge since presets are generally not kind to such, so I have to find very specific lighting for her shots - so lighter tones might have an easier time. I know of people who temporarily set their resolution to 4K for ss only so can try that as well.

I have no clue how lighting works or how to abuse it amazingly (I rarely use the gpose lighting to its fullest FML). I utilize in game lighting more than anything.

I have a really good sense of where mods can be found across all sites (both free and paid) and play in Glamourer constantly (my friends can attest to this addiction lmao) until I make one I like and then I go find a setting (or vice versa).

WCIF discord is great help as well- I will never not promote it, I’m also WCIF friendly.

A’murr is really pretty so she carries my gposes :3c

Mods aren’t everything - Vanilla can be just as striking and beautiful, never feel like one is greater than the other. I look up to a ton of vanilla users who have 20x more talent and produce screens better than anything I’ll EVER do.

Otherwise I really don’t do anything special, I have aphantasia so it takes me 500 days to pose & that’s why I can’t do in-person/in real time collabs.

Hi! Do you feel comfortable sharing your degenerate tumblr on here? I just ask because I will devour anything you write.

"degausser" and "little beast" rewrote my brain when I read them last year - I haven't been able to stop thinking about either. You have such a way with words. I really admire how you build the world around the characters you write, & how you can feel the emotion dripping off of the words. Also the tips you posted on Twitter for writing smut were super useful!

When it comes for building up tension and sexual dynamics between two characters like Eren and Mikasa, what do you do?

if you don't mind messaging me off anon, i'll gladly give you my degenerate tumblr (this goes for anyone who doesn't have it yet). mostly just want to make sure everyone who ends up there wants to be there. :) it is just very dead dove forward lmao.

thank you so much for your kind words about my fics and also for your question. part of the reason i got into eremika at first is bc they were similar to two characters i've been fucking around with in my original writing and it felt like a good place to work through some of those ideas. and now after writing them for like two years, i have a pretty intuitive understanding of how they might react to situations that make it easier to write! but that really comes with practice and finding relationships that make your brain go brrrr. like i know deep in my soul that no matter what, found family fuckery is a playground that i am very comfortable on.

tbh i think most writers have relationships like this that they keep circling back to again and again. and that sometimes we can feel like this is a weakness in our writing. but the things that we keep coming back to fascinate us for good reason! and by letting myself write a bunch of different versions of a dynamic, i've been able to develop the intuitive understanding that has made me way faster at writing. all's this to say, if you find yourself attracted to writing similar things over and over again, it isn't a bad thing and actually can be an opportunity to really grow your craft.

as for developing tension, i really like to focus on details and what characters are noticing. because when you're into someone, you're probably paying attention to their body and their body language in unconscious and conscious ways. within this, i also like to think about what the non-pov character might be noticing or thinking about as well and try to find a way to telegraph that to the reader through the pov character's observations. it can be hard to feel like you know what your non-pov character is thinking as well as your pov character, so sometimes i do free-writing from the other character's pov and then have those ideas in mind while i'm writing the scene. a lot of the reason i write from mikasa's pov a lot is bc eren's pov is way easier for me to understand without doing extra steps. so even if she doesn't get what he's doing in the story, i do and can use that understanding to give the reader clues and heighten the stakes and tension.

a lot of tension also comes from staging and context. by staging, i mean stuff like everything that lead these characters to this situation. i def tend to prefer situations where there is a lot of history and tension at the off-set, and then i get to bring it to a head through my writing. tbh, a lot of how i do this is by thinking about my idea A LOT when i'm not writing. i have playlists for different fic ideas and listen to them whenever i'm commuting or walking my dog. or, i read poetry or other books/fics that are similar to my idea to really get immersed. i kind of think about this step of writing like seasoning -- you gotta get a bunch of stuff in the pot of your brain and see how it turns out.

semi-related to above, but i spend a lot of time on pinterest. specifically looking at like photoshoots or art that show two people interacting. mostly because those images can give me a lot of ideas of how to "pose" or create different images of the characters doing things together. physicality is really important to creating tension and i think that focusing on that more than interiority can make everything feel more heightened. basically, whenever i see something, no matter the context, and it makes my brain go brrr i immediately make note of it and am like oh shit that could be helpful later. like i am still writing stuff based on how crazy jen and lo from crouching tiger hidden dragon made me when i was ten.
