Hi!
Could I request Lucifer x angel! F! Reader?
Reader died and went to heaven, but is very curious about hell, so she sneaks out every now and again to hell to explore it. Reader makes herself look like a sinner, and visits hotel regularly since she knows its a safe place, also wants to support charlie and the idea of redemption. So she meets Lucifer there and is fascinated with him, since he isn't at all what he was described at both in heaven and on earth.
And during the hotel fight, she reveals herself while protecting the hotel as an angel and goes against adam

To be honest, I didn’t think I’d end up in heaven. In my eyes, I don’t think I did anything ‘heaven worthy’ I can’t remember how or why I died but when I opened my eyes I was immediately blinded by this bright light. I squint as I try to look around and see someone walking towards me. Their silhouette making me question my vision.
Wings and a halo? Oh boy, I’m actually dead.
The mystery guy revealed himself to be Adam. THE Adam. The first man. The first anything for that matter. And he’s… not what I thought he’d be. Hes proves himself to be very arrogant and cocky. As well as crude and brass. Not exactly what you think would be on the checklist of characteristics to have to get into heaven. But, clearly, God has favorites. Oh, and top of it he flirts constantly, calling me such honestly degrading nicknames.
“Alright, sugar tits, that’s it for the tour or whatever. Got a problem, you can call me~ I’ll make time for you when I can. Im a busy guy, y’know, being the first man an’ all.”
I fight back the urge to roll my eyes.
“Uh huh… I do have a question.” I reply, ignoring his obvious attempts at flirting.
“Don’t be shy, doll face, I can answer whatever question ya got! I am THE man.” He exclaims, chest puffed out and head held high.
“So… if we’re in heaven does that mean hell also exists?” He blinks at me.
“Dumb fucking question because obviously?” He scoffs, his posture slumped. My eyes sparkle at the thought. I may not be able to remember how I died, but I know that when I was still alive I had been fascinated with hell. Just the thought of different time periods of the world’s worst people all clumped in one place. Just imagine how chaotic that would be. And Lucifer. He’s the worst of them all.
As the weeks turned into months, I had gotten closer to Adam. To the point where I learned about the exterminations one night when Adam got drunk when he had stumbled to my home for comfort. Of course, I was sworn to secrecy.
Adam taught me the spell to cast to make a portal to hell and, of course in Adam fashion, we’d occasionally go down there and I’d watched as Adam would make fun of the sinners and hellborn that lived. I’d merely chuckle at his remarks but secretly I felt bad.
But id never tell Adam that.
So began my secret trips to hell alone. I’d tuck away my wings and halo and used body paint to make myself look like a sinner. Though I was contained in the pride ring I was content seeing hell this way.
I’d get a closer look at those who died and ended up here myself and I’d get to see the rest of hell with the protection of Adam.
During one of my lone visits I was walking around town when I found myself in a bit of a situation.
“Hello sweetheart~ wanna come back to my place and have some fun?” I had heard behind me and turned around to see a sinner backing someone else to a wall. The girl looked uncomfortable and didn’t chance a chance against the guy that had cornered her.
“No, I’m good.” She said shortly and went to leave. But the guy wasn’t having it as he grabbed her arm to pull her against him. My body acted before my mind could think and I found myself standing before the guy, fist clenched with blood on it as the man was on the ground. The girl had disappeared without a word. And I was suddenly hit with this Deja Vu feeling. Like, I’d been in this situation before.
Suddenly, I felt afraid. I went to go but the man I grabbed my ankle causing me to fall. I felt fear as I heard the man speak but I didn’t register what he said. All I knew was that I had to leave before I either got hurt or exposed.
As my very limited options raced through my mind, the man had let go. I looked over at him only to see two women standing in his place.
One was a blonde girl who had knelt down to my level, her eyes filled with concern as she gently placed a hand on top of mine.
“Are you ok?” She asked as she pulled me to my feet.
“We should go before that asshole comes back.” The other girl said, her voice low. The blonde girl looked to me her eyes pleading.
“Come with us, you’ll be save I promise.” I just nodded and allowed them both to lead me to what was a hotel. We entered and the blonde sat me on a couch. “Are you hurt? How’s your ankle? That man had quite the hold on you.”
“I’m fine…” I mumbled. “Thank you, by the way. For saving me.” The blonde smiled.
“Of course! I’m Charlie by the way and the other girl is my girlfriend, Vaggie. We saw how you rushed in to defend that girl. You were amazing!” She praised, stars in her eyes with a big smile. I give her a crooked one in return.
“Anyone would have done that I’m not-“
“No, they wouldn’t.” Vaggie interjected. “Not only because people down here suck but also because it’s not their business. Also, no one else was around. You’re lucky we were or else you could’ve ended up hurt.” Charlie let out a nervous chuckle.
“What she means is you were super brave but should be careful… people aren’t as nice as you.” She gives me a soft smile before getting up and walking over to Vaggie and drags her to a different room. They spoke in hushed whispers before I hear Vaggie sigh and Charlie let out an excited squeal. She races back to me and with a big smile asks me, “How do you feel about sinners being redeemed? Do you think it’s possible?”
“Um… possibly? I mean, if there’s any as nice as you two then I do.”
And that’s where it truly started. I had met the rest of the people who lived in that hotel and I can honestly say they are some of the best people I’ve met. Some were a bit odd like their housekeeper Nifty. But she’s a cutie. They acted nothing like how those made as sinners were supposed to. And him.
Lucifer.
He puzzled me most of all. When I had heard that he was coming to the hotel to possibly help out I felt frightened. He was a fallen Angel, there’s no way he wouldn’t be able to sniff me out. And on top of that, it’s Lucifer! Ruler of Hell which holds all of Earths worst people! But again, like the others he wasn’t what I was told he was like at all.
Adam had described him as “The absolute fucking worst!” Though, I’d say Adam’s a little biased, for good reason, but still.
I found him to be sweet and a little awkward. He was easy to talk to as he made an effort to get to know not only Charlie, which I found out was his daughter, but also the rest of us. And I found myself enjoying his company. Any time I had to go back to Heaven I felt sad. I missed everyone at the hotel. I missed him. Everytime I was at the hotel I was practically glued to Lucifer’s side. I found him so fascinating. He was nothing like I had imagined.
As you can expect, we had gotten close as the Extermination date was drawing near and I was happy yet scared for what was to come. Adam’s fucking attitude towards it all made it hard to keep quiet but I somehow found the patience.
Lucifer even showed me around the Pride Ring and all that it had to offer in terms of fun one day. Just the two of us… alone.
“You know… you’re a lot of fun.” He said randomly as we walked back to the hotel.
“Oh, yeah?” I said with a nervous tone. “Thanks…”
“You’re not like the other sinners…” He replied in a deep tone before his eyes widen. “I-I mean that, you’re like, uh pretty cool! Very nice! Good person to hang around!” He says quickly with a nervous chuckle, he cheeks redder than usual.
“Oh, um, thank you, sir. You’re pretty cool yourself…” with an awkward smile, I playfully punch his shoulder. As I’m retracting my hand, he grabs my wrist and keeps it close to him. His sudden grip on my wrist brings me down to his level.
“Please… don’t call me sir. Just call me Lucifer.” He says breathlessly, as if he’s begging for me to refer to him as Lucifer, not just a request. His cheeks were slightly pink and he looked at me through half-lidded eyes. He looked so soft.
And here I thought I couldn’t get anymore fascinated with him. I could replay that moment forever… well, until an annoying voice ruined it and pulled me out of the fond memory.
“All right bitches! Time to fuck shit up!” Adam yelled as the portal to hell opened and they all dove in. Spears, battle axes and whatever else they used to kill those souls in hand. Before it had closed I rushed in and flew straight to the hotel, not that I had to go far since the portal was opened beside the hotel.
I quickly flew down near some rubble to hide and watched as the Angels attacked before a barrier was put up around the hotel. I could hear Adam screaming at (presumably) Lute that he obviously can’t see the giant fucking forcefield in front of them, which made me chuckle.
I stayed hidden for the majority of the fight, as I wasn’t equipped to really do anything and I was afraid to get in the way. At some point, the barrier had been taken down by Adam. However, when I saw Adam pick Charlie up by her throat I knew I had to act.
Taking off my disguise and letting my wing’s stretch as well as allowing my halo to show itself once more, I fly over to Adam and Charlie and snatch Charlie from Adam’s grasp. I fly her a good enough distance from Adam, still in the air and in my arms.
“Y/n..? You’re an.. angel?” Charlie says in awe, her eyes wide. I give her a sheepish smile.
“I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to-“
“You fucking traitor!” Adam yells as he collects himself. “Fuckers like you aren’t ever allowed back into heaven you fucking bitch!” He declares as he flies back up and heads straight at us, his axe gripped tight in his hand.
My eyes widen in surprise and fear as turn my body, shielding Charlie with my body as i prepare for impact. But it never came. Instead, I hear Adam struggle before turning my head, Charlie still in my arms as I watch Lucifer throw Adam into the sign on top of the building.
“Dad!” Charlie yells as Lucifer flies down closer to us. He smiles at Charlie.
“Sorry I was late, sweetie.” His eyes flicker up to mine, a look of surprise and awe held in them as he stares at me. I feel myself blush slightly.
“Oh my… you’re…”
“An angel, I know I’m sorry-“
“Beautiful.” He finishes, eyes still staring at me with such a look of admiration I almost dropped Charlie. Out the corner of my eye I see Adam picking himself back up, half of his mask torn apart showing off his really face.
He goes on into a rant about how we should be worshipping him, he’s the first man, blah blah blah. Until a knife is plugged into his back and out of his stomach. He falls to the ground and Lute rushes to his aid, screaming his name.
My eyes tear up at the sight of Adam dying in Lutes arm. Lucifer gently grabs my hand and I quietly cry into his shoulder. After a few moments, he practically kicks the Exterminators out. Many of them hurt or wounded in some way and Lute grabs Adam’s halo and flies off, the portal closing behind them.
For the time being after that was spent rebuilding the hotel and mourning the loss of those who died. Once the hotel had been built I again found myself with Lucifer. We sat beside each other, his hand on top of mine. I looked at him, my eyes soft as I studied his face.
He was still as fascinating to me as when I first met him. And I’m so happy that I get to learn more about him now that I’m permanently staying in hell.
I hope you like this! It didn’t really go in the direction I wanted it to and I thought about rewriting it a few times but I think I turned out pretty alright! Forgive me if anything you wanted was left out, it’s been a while since I’ve done a request <333

You sighed running your fingers through your (h/c) hair as you looked into the mirror, dull lights flicking in the back and nothing but silence filling your ears. "I don't know why it's so difficult for everyone else to understand how I feel." Teary eyes showing in the mirror, You stared even harder at your reflection as you started to lift your shirt up and took a look at your body. "I just wish.. sometimes, that I was a real man." You traced your fingers along the bandages that were binding your chest down and sighed.
"Y/N?" You heard that stupid German accent and immediately knew who it was, you hurried to pull down your shirt as you felt your heart race a bit. How long has he been in the room? You thought and looked over at the thankfully, closed bathroom door.
"Yes?"
"Could ya come out here for a second, ja?"
You rolled your eyes and unlocked the door, you looked over at the noirette and crossed your arms. "Can I help you, Ludwig?" He looked at your eyes and immediately knew something was wrong.
"What's with the tears, liebling?" Medic looked a little worried and walked up to your frame, his large hands intertwining yours as he looked up/down at you. Whatever he was going to talk to you about was completely down the drain, he was now focused on whatever was eating at you.
"Nothing, It's humiliating." You furrowed your brows and looked down at your intertwined hands, his hand was squeezing yours, not too tight to hurt you but tight enough that you could tell he was anxious.
"Please, let me know what's on your mind." The accent lingering around in your ears made it almost impossible for you to decline him a second time, you gave him a slight nod and huffed.
"Fine." You took in your surroundings to make sure the rest of the guys weren't around. You took in a deep breath, trying to hold back any tears that were threatening to fall down. Ludwig gave you a frown and laid his other hand on your cheek, wiping away any tears that snuck past your waterline. "I don't know, It's hard to explain. Sometimes I just wish I was a real guy. Not some wannabe man."
Medic's eyes widen at your harsh words and held your hand close to him, he made a somewhat pout look. Which is abnormal for him to do. "Why are you so mean to yourself, Meine Liebe?" He closed the space between you two and gave you a soft peck on the lips. "To me you are a real man, and always will be."
There you were choking back sobs again, how embarrassing. "I just want to look like how the other guys look! With their muscular bodies and stuff, it's just not fair!" Your voice cracked a bit at the end and Medic was listening to every bit of your ranting.

You're sitting in your lunch spot frozen as milk drips from the ends of your hair, the whole cafeteria is silent before erupting into laughter.
“Oops!” Carol says with venom laced in her voice. “Sorry, I'm such a klutz.”
You don’t respond to her and wipe milk away from your eyes. Your lack of response causes Tommy to slam his lunch tray on the table.
“She said sorry, aren't you going to forgive her?”
You shake your head knowing you don't have it in you to speak right now. Your heart is pounding out of your chest and you really wish some of your friends were here right now. Tommy let out an obnoxious laugh.
“Look at you! You can't even talk!” More students began to laugh while some looked at you in pity.
“Hello?? Anyone there? We're talking to you!” Carol said while poking your shoulder. Tears were streaming down your face and you were starting to feel lightheaded from the rapid breathing you were doing. Before you know it a jean jacket was thrown around you and you were dragged out of the cafeteria while students started to scream and cheer. You didn't have time to register what was going on but you get some sort of relief when you realized Robin was pulling you into the girl's restroom.
“Those fucking assholes, I swear to god I'll beat them up myself next time I see them.” She has you lean against a wall and turns to grab some napkins but you latch onto her hand. She looks at you and feels her heartbreak when she sees your eyes pleading her not to leave.
“Hey, it's okay. I'm just gonna grab you some napkins and clean you off okay? I have extra clothes in my bag for our sleepover today.”
You slowly let go of her and look down at her bag. You forgot all about the sleepover and you're scared to tell her that you no longer plan on spending the night after today’s events.
“It's okay, don't even worry about it. We can always do it another night! Go ahead and change whenever you're ready.” she says quietly while wiping dried-up milk off of your face. Once she's done with that she reaches into her bag and hands you some clothes. You nod your head slightly giving her a silent thank you before you go into the stall and change. You look down at your clothes and notice only your shirt is wet so you figured you can wrap the milk-soaked shirt in the pair of sleep shorts robin packed for you. You tried your best to take deep breaths and calm down but when you hear the door slam open your breathing picks up again. What if Carol came to tease you some more? You know Robin wouldn't let her but she isn't afraid to get her hands dirty.
“Where is she?”
Relief flooded your system as you recognized Steve's voice. You poked your head out of the stall and saw his back facing you, his hair is messed up and the only thing you think of is how hard Steve works on his hair. He turns around at the sound of the stall door creaking and lets out a sigh of relief. You gasp at the sight of him.
Steve had a busted lip and a bruise starting to form around his eye, you look down at his hands and see them bloody and bruised.
“Hey, don't worry about me,” he whispered while rushing to you and wrapping you in his arms. “They aren't going to bother you anymore, okay?”
You nodded your head. He grabs the clothes that are sitting in your hand and shoves them in his bag while grabbing yours from off the floor.
“Thanks for taking her out of there Robin,” he says while gently placing your hand in his.
Robin says it's not a problem and gives you a tight hug knowing those calm you down. Steve walks out of the girl’s restroom with you glaring at Tommy on the way out. Tommy had multiple tissues held to his nose and had a dark-colored bruise resting on his cheekbone, he flipped Steve off mumbling how he misses his old friend but Steve doesn't care.
He opens the passenger door for you making sure all limbs are in before he closes the door. He slides into the diver's side and reaches in the backseat handing you a notebook and pen.
“What happened, baby?”
Your brain replays what happened minutes ago and you shake your head trying to erase the thoughts, you don't want to think about it, not right now.
Is your hand okay?
Steve reads your question out loud to himself and chuckles.
“Don't worry about me. I'll be okay.”
You didn't have to fight him. I know you guys are like best friends.
“No, you're my best friend. I can't believe I hung out with people like them.” he starts to get lost in his thoughts when he feels you tap him with the pen.
Can we go home? I want to wash the milk out of my hair.
Steve felt his heart warm. He knows you mean he can take you to his house but the fact that you consider it home brings a smile to his face. He starts up the car and looks over at you.
“Are you ready to talk yet?”
You shake your head slowly hoping he wouldn't be upset at your answer. You know it could be frustrating when you suddenly go silent, as you've been told time and time again. Steve grabs your hand and places a gentle kiss on it, ignoring the small sting from the cut on his lip.
“That's okay, take all the time you need. I'll be here when you're ready.”

OKOKOKOKOK so first things first the region/generation IIIIIIIII was introduced into was Gen 6 aka Kalos (yes I am young HAHSWBWHEH) and oh my G O D I have. SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH NOSTALGIA FOR THAT GEN. I replay X&Y AAAAALLL THE TIME just cuz I love those games S O DAMN MUCH?????? Like the design of the region is so pretty and the Pokémon designed are so unique and the music is so,,,,,, mwuah perfect. Nuzlocke comics also got really big around that time so that’s how I was introduced into Nuzlocking and HOOOOOOOOOO BOYO BOY
I AM A M A S S I V E NUZLOCKER. I LOVE NUZLOCKES SM. THEYRE MY FAVOURITE THINGS EVER if I’m not writing an essay over Luis you can GUARENTEE I’ll be doing a Nuzlocke. I got into them cuz I ADORED the storytelling aspect and all the creative comics but I’ve stuck around cuz I just LOVE the problem solving/mathematics part of them?????? I love all the insane strategies and statistics runners come up with and I can easily just watch multi-hour Nuzlocke runs for days on end
But going back on track kinda but also on the subject of Nuzlockes my absolute FAAAAAAVORITE region/generation is EASILY Gen 4 and Platinum. In 2020 I started my first ever Nuzlocke of Platinum and tk say that singular playthrough impacted my life in a way I can’t even describe would be a MASSIVE understatement. I played it through some REEEEEEEALLY TOUGH TIMES and it was such a consistent constant for me I still go back to that save file and just. Walk around with my Pokémon. And reminisce. It was also just my first ever Pokémon game EVER (if you don’t count Pokémon GO BDBSBSHSH) so I hold it very near and dear to my heart <<<33
My starter was Turtwig and I called him Boba Fett and now Boba Fett the Torterra has stuck with me through every single game I’ve played- I’ve transferred him all the way up to Scarlet & Violet and I love him SO much he unironically means the world to me. Torterras my favourite Pokémon ever I have SO many plushies of it n stuff <<<<<333 if I can find a photo of Boba Fett the Torterra I’ll post it
I also R E A L L Y love gen 5. Like all the designs of the Pokémon are SO COOL and Unova is such a fun region to go through and the STORY?? THE S T O R Y ???????????? I really love how they were kinda aiming for an,,,, older audience with it????? Unova just goes so hard
But I think if I had to nail down my number one favourite Pokémon game EVER right alongside Platinum it would be Legends Arceus. LIKE?????? THE STORY???????????? THE ENVIORMENT????????????? THE MECHANICS??? THE ART STYLE??????? ALL THE LITTLE BACKGROUND NOISES????????? OFS SUCH A GOOD GAME I think right alongside like. Resident evil 4 it’s probably my favourite game of all time it’s so stunning I replay it ALL THE TIME
I’m also semi into shiny hunting!!!!!! I’ve only ever really done it on scarlet and Violet but my favourite shiny hunt I’ve ever done was for shiny Mabostiff aka my other favourite Pokémon alongside Torterra <33 ut was right after my dog had passed away and he looked EXACTLY like Mabostiff except he was golden so I went out of my way to shiny hunt one in his memory <<<<<<33
I also really love competitive Pokémon!!!!!!!!!!! Have I ever actually PLAYED competitively??? No but I can tell you everything there is to know about it!!!!!!!
Uhhhhhhhhhhh what else uhhh,,,,,,, Torterra and Mabostiff are obviously my favourite Pokémon but I have plenty of other faves too. Like Flabebe, Sylveon, Hisuian Decidueye cuz it looks like my irl pet chickens, Meganium, Wingull, Jirachi, Delphox uhhhhhhhhh there’s probably more but my brain is soupy soup BXBSBBSBSJS
But uhhhhhhhh I think that’s it!!!!!!!! Hello! I hope your week is fine. I'd like to ask, in your reblog of Wukong's Mess, you mention that Macaque is being hypocritical, especially during the mountain prison fight. Can you elaborate on that? I'd also like to know your opinion on Sun Wukong, and why his side of the story has been silent and unspoken for so long. Eat you fruits and sleep early!
Side note: do you think, in Shadowplay, the story that Macaque tells us, is in actuality similar to what happened with MK and SWK when the latter witnessed LBD's return, a vision of MK being burned, which spurred him on mission to stop her while keeping MK in the dark about the reason for his "trip" in s2 beginning?

this got longer then i thought it would. also wanna write up a short disclaimer that no, i don't hate macaque. i like him alot, he's one of my favorite characters, but he's also a really bad person LOL and im just writing about the fact he is. i like that he's a flamboyant asshole, that kind of character is fun to me.
macaque has shown a lot of hypocritical moments during the show, some of the more memorable ones being in season 4, though he's done this before.
s4ep10 when macaque gives his (questionable) advice to MK and talks about how LBD and azure have been trying to get in his head and a bit about how MK's grown paranoid about that. totally not gonna mention that macaque was the one who originally turned MK into a more dependent and paranoid guy. nope. let's not talk about that at all. he's such a freak goblin
macaque insists that wukong left him behind or abandoned him during shadowplay and in season 3, but in season 4 we learn that macaque was the one to leave wukong under the mountain when wukong needed him most.
during their argument under the mountain, wukong says "...because you always rush to my rescue!" while he's upset. mean thing to say, but it's built in some truth if macaque's actions from the show are anything to go by. at every major conflict he's apart of, he flees to save his own skin. we love a cowardly weido! #slay. macaque counters this with "no, that's you! you're the one that's always running off, looking for more sources of power, sources of immortality!" which also has some truth to it, but the difference is wukong hasn't been fleeing any battles to leave macaque, he's been training and climbing the ranks in heaven to grow stronger to protect macaque and the mountain.
when macaque says "not the great sage, he's got to drag everyone else into his mess!" he's retroactively trying to take the blame of the attack on heaven off himself and the brotherhood and place it completely on wukong. macaque's acting as if he was unwilling and forced into the attack when he could have said no at any time. he's acting as if wukong forced everyone to help him when in reality to plan was mostly azure's, wukong was just their strongest fighter and the one who ultimately led the charge. macaque has a habit of doing this though, removing himself from a problem while pointing the blame at wukong. put a pin in that
wukong even says back to macaque that "you're not in this mess! you're still free!" which is. completely true. macaque's fine, wukong's the one paying for the entire brotherhood, including macaque's, involvement in the attack. and macaques out here yelling at wukong for it as if he isn't gonna be here for what he thinks to be eternity. macaque's fine, is what im trying to say here. macaque's not payin' for jack shit. wukong even says right after that that all of his training and "running off" was him working to protect the mountain and macaque. he says "everything i did, i did it for us!" and then macaque shuts him down and calls him selfish again, even though its pretty clear (with knowledge from jttw AND lmk) that what wukong's saying is true. macaque even calls him an "obsessive demon" which is so funny, thats like. stop yelling at the kettle, pot. macaque's entire identity is based around wukong, ur such a little hypocrite. if oneo f them had to be the obsessive demon, it would be macaque.
macaque then goes on to say that "i told you going against the jade emperor was a bad idea, but no, wukong doesn't listen to anyone! he just does whatever he wants!" which this whole statement is just so weak on his end. macaque warns wukong once, and thats when azure first brings up the idea of going against the jade emperor. he says something along the lines of "idk about this wukong, going against the jade emperor could have some consequences". wukong quickly reassures him and macaque smiles and is like "okay wukong, whatever you say". he says that very fondly. macaque's "warning" to wukong isn't much of a warning, it was a small thought that he quickly drops because wukong says it's going to be okay. macaque and wukong were extremely close, they should know the other's personality. macaque would have known that just a small, off-hand comment wouldn't even be considered a warning to someone as headstrong as wukong.
we can headcanon and imagine all we want that maybe macaque and wukong talked more about it, maybe they even argued about it, but none of that speculation means anything because canon only ever shows us macaque casually mentioning potential consequences that both macaque and wukong ignore. obviously to the characters, including macaque, the consequences weren't really that important if they never brought it up again. macaque is Once Again forcing more blame on wukong as if he didn't have an equal part in the attack or the planning leading up to it.
i mean, look at wukong's face here in response to macaque saying that! that looks like the shocked face somebody makes when they hear someone say they did/said something they know they didn't. that, along with the "obsessive demon" insult has wukong making a "what the actual fuck?!" kind of face. the one where you're shocked the other person even has the audacity to practically lie right to your face, yknow?
"you put yourself here, not me" macaque says, then he destroys the peach and leaves it on the ground in front of wukong, basically as an act of severing ties. macaque has, in his mind, been innocent the whole time and has no reason to try and stick around and help wukong because, he thinks, "well it's not my fault any of this happened". macaque is constantly playing the blame game, i think it's his favorite

first of all, love eating fruits! apples are very good. secondly, i uh. sleep early. yeah. oops..................... (i went to bed at 2:30 am last night).......... but we're workin on it!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
I have a lot of things I could say about Wukong. a lot of things that i won't for the sake of brevity but in general, Sun Wukong reads as someone who's tired and wanting desperately to move on, while also feeling an innate responsibility to keep helping the world and defending people from large threats. that's why he takes on MK as a successor, because he wants a way to almost "pass on" into obscurity so MK can be the next hero. MK's young, excited, and in his prime while wukong is old, tired, and bogged down with all of his past mistakes that no one ever lets him forget. he's surprisingly really realistic and well rounded compared to the rest of the, ill be real, close to flat cast, which is what drew me to his character. he doesn't feel as tropey as the rest of the cast, he feels like you could assign him a trope but it won't ever perfectly describe him, which is really cool. he perfectly embodies his original character purpose, to represent the power of the mind, as he's constantly changing and growing and learning from mistakes. that's what makes him such a realistic character! he's built to be extremely human even if he's an overpowered stone monkey.
wukong isn't the type of guy to really open up about what he's thinking and spill his insecurities. during the journey, a lot of times wukong would point out a demon threat or would come up with ways to stop threats against tripitaka who, 9/10 times didn't believe him or punished him for his ideas. wukong's basically internalized the idea that he needs to play his cards really close to his chest, which includes his plans for fighting back against something or his own feelings. hell, wukong's only really started opening up to MK in season 4, and he barely does! the only time he ever truly opens up is in the s4 special where he's basically given up. and even then he's filtering himself and not explaining his side of things, just his emotions. its a start tho
that's basically why wukong's taking so long to explain his side of the story on anything, its difficult to have him do so and have it be in character because his major traits are about being closed off emotionally. unfortunately because hes taking so long to open up, the fandom seems to be believing macaque and the villains more and more, painting this really nasty view of wukong which is. so odd to me.
i also have some gripes with the writers for not using the only tool that could almost force wukong to open up or show his side of the story to do that. they show a couple snippets of wukong's past, but it's all pre journey stuff and it all includes macaque. we never learn his side of the story about killing the camel ridge trio or his fight with macaque that led to macaque's death. we don't even hear his own inner monologue or thoughts! and now the scroll is effectively out of play, so we arent even gonna get to see that stuff. which sucks

okay, for this one it's complicated. so, yes and no.
macaque only does the shadow play to torture MK and make him feel even more insecure about wukong. he says it himself at the end of the episode, it's why he gives up on the fight so quickly, he just wanted to torture MK, mostly for fun. (is this how you get your sick kicks?!)
MK has a habit of mimicking and internalizing everyone else's words and personalities. the most obvious example is how at the end of season 1, in s1e9 his entire personality changes when macaque trains him, and macaque plants the seeds of insecurity in MK's mind about wukong "abandoning" him. it gets even worse in shadowplay in s2, because thats when MK really start's thinking wukong's abandoned him and he's really putting himself in macaque's headspace. bro stop!!!!!!!! he's evil!!!! stop!!!!! he's a liar!!!!! get out of there mk!!!
so anyway, macaque's whole point is that wukong "abandoned" him to go be a hotshot in heaven and then to go on the journey and make new and cooler friends, and now MK's worried that wukong just did that again but to him. macaque knows wukong's not around, too, which makes this "lesson" easier to tell MK since wukong's not there to defend himself or to explain the truth to MK. macaque's goal though with the shadow play is to insult MK by comparing him to wukong. he's trying to fuck with MK and make him feel shittier, that's why he kidnaps MK's friends, because he wants to be like "wow you didn't even notice they were gone! ur such a bad person lol! just like wukong the hero!" when in reality MK's put himself in macaque's role as the warrior and is just thinking all of his friends abandoned him. he knew they weren't around but he assumed they just didn't want to be with him, not that they were actually captured. it's a whole mess that just makes MK feel even worse by the end of it, but it's still an interesting episode that says a lot about the characters.
so, partially, yes, the shadowplay is similar to wukong leaving mk during season 2 when you look at it through MK's point of view. but objectively? it's not even close.
in reality, we the audience know that wukong isn't just going on vacation, he's actively looking for ways to stop the lady bone demon and doing research. he's finding ancient temples and scouring through their information, he's interrogating anyone who might have a clue, he's very active this season, we just only get clips of what he's doing while we focus on MK. we see multiple instances of him searching for answers, we know he's trying to stop LBD. he isn't really fucking off and doing nothing (but for some reason the fandom thinks he did because pigsy says that??? so).
wukong leaves MK because he's trying to protect him. he trusts MK's ability enough to deal with the occasional monster of the week at megaopolis, but he doesn't think MK's ready for a bigger threat like LBD. he's still communicating with MK to give him advice, but he knows MK knows the basics and can handle himself well, he just needs the occasional push. he's not intentionally abandoning him, he's keeping him out of harms way because he believes MK isn't ready for a world ending threat.
so basically: we know that macaque is trauma dumping and twisting the context of the story to make him seem like some sort of victim that was left behind, that MK is internalizing the story to mean that wukong is abandoning him, and that wukong isn't doing any of that and is trying to protect him. it's a big narrative mess but it's a good one! we the audience know MK's going down a bad path for his mental health and we know that wukong isn't doing any of that because we can see it through wukong's words and actions that he cares about MK and is trying to help him while keeping him safe. unfortunately, wukong's a little too late coming back to the city and LBD starts her plan before wukong can stop her.

i’ve tried getting out of my reading slump (WE’RE GETTING THERE WOOHOO!!) like i’ve recently started little woman by louis may alcott (a classic ik idk why i’m even referencing it shshs) and so far it’s pretty good! sometimes the dialogue throws me off a little since it was written so long ago and my mind just goes blank as soon as i read anything that’s not modern day english (i’m talking anything published before the 2000s 😭). i watched the movie a while ago so i’m kinda excited to see if there’s any major differences between the books and the movies. apparently there are a few but i didnt listen in further bc i didn’t wanna spoil myself hahah. welp ig i’ll k when i commit to actually finishing the book.

Heavy they are writing wise (side eyeing shakespeare n dostoevsky rn) but others aren’t!!! one classic i absolutely adore is the stranger by albert camus, idk if you’re interested in existentialism but!!! the writing is very pretty :3

Finding out you watched tangled the series sent me into a reblog spree from your tangled tag because I recently finished it for the first time. so now I'm curious give me all of your fix it thoughts on the bad writing
hello im so sorry for ignoring this for so long but i forgor </3 but i love tangled the series so much it just makes me want to rip my skin off because of how much it sucks
the thing is. there is so much potential. if it was just a bad show i wouldnt care but the problem is it could have been such a good show <////3 i love every character and the plot lines were ALMOST there every time and it could have been so good i could fix this fucking show hhghghjghhjghgmhgjhjg
like right off the bat theres all the shit with the proposals that i LOVE. i love eugene and rapunzel both trying to propose to each other like 5 times but neither of them could ever get the timing right <333 but the problem comes in with. literally everything surrounding it. the idea that the marriage would trap them pisses me off bc at first i assumed it would be like. they eventually realize that marriage isnt a trap and its not the end of their lives. but thats not what happened. instead it was like "yeah the marriage is us accepting that our adventures are over and we're settling down" ?????????????? and everything chris said always makes me think like. can someone please check on his wife oh my god
THEN we've got varian. literally such a great character, his villain arc is the best arc of the whole show !!! but!! then it was over. honestly i think that varian was one of the characters that made it out relatively unscathed with no stupid choices for his character. but even then thats mostly because he just kinda got ignored after season 1. he didnt show up at all in season 2 except in a hallucination, and im not THAT mad about it bc obv they werent in corona so its not like there was really any place for him but like. please. anyways he got a quick redemption arc in season 3 but the worst part of that was that it was a little rushed so he made it out ok. but the problem comes in with the fact that chris got pissed off that everyone wanted to talk about varian so he refused to give varian anything interesting to do overall. but the problem is that there were already seeds planted earlier in the show to give him more to do (like everything with quirin and the letter) that got dropped bc they didnt want to deal with it
and CASS. oh my god. ive talked about her villain arc a hundred times because it makes me so fucking insane. it could have been so good. like you can go back to pretty much the first episode in season 1 and see cracks starting to form in her & rapunzel's friendship and there was soooo much to work with. but. "gothic was my mom but she kidnapped and abused you instead so you stole my destiny" what the fuck are you talking about. talk about being overshadowed! talk about being forgotten and never taken seriously!! talk about ANYTHING that youve already been upset about in the show!!!!!! what the fuck!!!!!!
and then fucking. the dark kingdom stuff at the end of season 2 with eugene:( :( :( i was a little excited for the dark prince stuff bc ! it could be fun!!! he found out that hes the prince of a dead kingdom and his mother died because of the stone thats the opposite of rapunzel! there was sooooo much there that just got forgotten :( we never even found out how the queen died or her fucking NAME. why did we abandon all the dark kingdom lore at the end of season 2 :(((( i love the dark kingdom its such a fun concept and i want more of it but like. go girl give us nothing ig. the kingdom got completely abandoned and forgotten about within 25 years! lets talk about that!!!!! fuck lets acknowledge ANYTHING about dark prince eugene !!!! and on that note i wish they had done a little more with the fact that edmund had been protecting the moonstone for his entire life just for someone to take it and leave and now his life's purpose means NOTHING.
also it pisses me off that season 3 became The Cass and Rapunzel Show. there were so many other characters with problems but everything else was ignored bc look! cass and rapunzel!!! like can we PLEASE focus on anything else for like 5 seconds.... why was the finale entirely just cass and rapunzel's fight :( everyone was dead on the ground and it was "and now cass and rapunzel are gonna spend 3 seconds handling it" like please..... you have a beautiful cast of characters that want to affect the plot so badly let them help
as a rapunzel fan i think that one thing that annoys me a lot about the show is that. rapunzel can never be wrong. i get that shes a disney princess and its a disney show so they cant make her TOO bad but like,,, all her weaknesses are the shit you say in a job interview. "shes too nice" "shes too upbeat" "she trusts people to much" i wish she had actual problems. like she tends to accidentally be selfish and focus on how she feels without thinking about how it affects other people!!! thats something they could have thought about more instead of making her always right about everything. and the fucking episode on season 3 where eugene says "cass abandoned you you need to let her go" then she goes back in time and changes his past and then hes like "yeah you shouldnt leave cass behind!" NO HE WAS RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. cass literally took the moonstone and left she doesnt want to come back why is the lesson here that rapunzel shouldnt let her go
and oh my god. lance im so sorry for what they did to you. he is SUCH a fun character i love him so much he should have had so much to do but NO he gets one lance-centric episode and a few lance-and-eugene-centric episodes in season 1. then he never gets focus ever again. he gets the moment in the season 2 finale where he starts fighting the ghosts (and i love him so much i love that moment) and then he never affects the plot again. hes so fun because he and eugene have basically the same backstory except lance never had The Moment where he chose to give it up so its so fun to see his approach to just. everything in the show. but we never get to see him!! he gets ignored and shoved to the side so that there can be more hookfoot centric episodes. i will forever stand by the fact that theres something about hookfoot could've been a lance episode. ALSO ALSO ALSO the episode that was pitched with the broken window at the orphanage :( :( :( :( :( i mourn it every single day i wish it had happened. he doesnt get taken seriously as a character even though they had sooooo many opportunities to! then i literally love that he adopts kiera and catalina at the end but. it doesnt get any focus. we dont get to see him getting closer to them (okay we get a little bit of it but STILL there should've been more) so it feels so unearned. i love their little family so much but give me MORE. NOW.
okay im gonna stop now but i have so many thoughts about this show i could fucking fix it. there is so much potential and i love every character so much and i love the version of the plot lines that only exist in my head

The day you’ve been waiting for for so long. The day where you finally let out all your feelings. Everything you’ve been experiencing. All those times you felt warm and happy with him.
Today was the day you’d finally confess.
You had it all planned out; you would confess during the Naganohara Fireworks festival tonight. You had everything planned out in your head.
Now all you had to do was execute it.
You and Thoma walked through the festival, looking at different stalls.
“I was thinking- uh- hey!”, the blonde exclaimed as you took a bite of his dango. You smiled at him whilst you chewed the piece you stole, him chuckling at you.
“Fine, if you want it so bad I’ll just buy you one.” he said, heading to a stall.
“Wait no! I told you I was going to buy the food, Thoma!” you shouted, running after him.
When the time came, you and him sat down near the edge of the cliff, staring at the ethereal star-studded sky, waiting for the fireworks.
Now was the time.
“Hey Thoma..” you said quietly, suddenly feeling the urge to run away.
“Yes, [name]?” Thoma looked at you, smiling softly. Oh how stunning his smile was. It was enough to make your heart leap out of your chest.
“I-I uhm, I have something to tell you.” you managed to sputter out.
He cocked his head curiously.
You took a deep breath.
“I have trouble with my feelings. And I have never experienced anything remotely close to what I feel when I’m around you. When I’m around you, everything feels light and airy. When I’m around you, I feel my world spinning. When I’m around you, I feel like my problems are nothing but a distant storm. When I am around you, I feel complete.” you ramble, your face taking on a pink hue.
“I never understood what love was until I met you, Thoma.”
He was blushing, hard. His eyes were slightly widened. The fireworks had gone off already, but that didn’t seem to matter to the two of you anymore.
“[Name]...”
Oh no. Not that tone. No one ever uses that tone when their crush has just confessed to them.
Fuck.
“I’m so sorry… but I can’t accept your confession.” he said meekly, looking at the ground.
“Oh.”
“You’re a great person and I truly value your-”
“No, it’s fine.” You painfully smiled, as tears threatened to flow, “I understand.”
“Can we still be friends, at least?” he asked, still refusing to look at you.
“Of course.” You tried to say confidently, but it came out as a pained whisper.
“I’m gonna go now. Thank you, I had a lot of fun today.” You said, turning away and walking off.
He didn’t say anything back.
Thoma POV
He loved you. He really did. He loved you so much.
But he didn’t deserve you.
He worked all the time, and can’t seem to say ‘no’ to people.
How can he subject you to a guy like that?
Besides, there’s so many better candidates for you.

They are much more renowned. He’s just a simple housekeeper. Why would you ever want him?

Though even with all of this, you still loved him. And he couldn’t understand why.

I think the both of you would be the typical friends to lover troupe. The first meeting between the two of you would 100% be at Ramshackle dorm. I think its because of the common interest on abandoned places and one of you probably just needs some fresh air from socializing too much. And voila! an enchanting encounter.
Being in a relationship with Malleus is nice and comfortable, cause i feel like the two of you would have to already know each other and feel comfortable between each other before THEN go to the next stage, that is dating. So, there's no problem with comfortability and understanding in this relationship.
Part of me feels like Malleus could be quite the jealous type in this relationship, i think he would do a lot of small shenanigangs with his power to avoid people from flirting with you or some sort, and act like nothing happened.
I could imagine the perfect date for the two of you is just lying on the field in front of Ramshackle dorm and talking about stars and watch movies together. And though there would be some silence now and then, its definitely comfortable ones.

bt!trickstar.... they make me so ill. i think mao makes me the sickest but that's bc im relentless maoP so its on brand for me. ANYWAYS. im putting this under the cut cause it's longer than i thought itd be LOL but here's where trickstar end up in the bad timeline au:
mao ends up in akatsuki but bc he's alr on the stuco and probably wouldn't be the most enthused to be performing w/o trickstar (plus there's his whole self-esteem/flashlight complex. which wouldn't be as brutal yet but the seeds have always been there) he ends up taking on more and more of the background/bureaucratic work that keito's always concerned with. mao gets less and less chances to perform as he's buried in paperwork. he's lost sight completely of why he came to yumenosaki in the first place, his love of performing. i think bt!mao finds a kind of solidarity in koga, who also is in akatsuki and doesnt want to be - but also envies him a bit. (bt!koga is forced to perform at pretty much every turn)
makoto ends up in knights... i dont know how mean i want to be w him yet i think in a worse timeline he goes back into modelling full throttle to please izumi and loses himself in being molded by izumi who thinks this is how he can protect and please makoto. either way izumi's obsession w him is at full force and it causes a LOT of problems in knights. i could a whole post on knights their deal is . a Lot
hokuto ends up in fine! he's... honestly he could be doing worse like for all intents and purposes he's ended up in a pretty cushy place. but he has doubts and regrets.... he doesn't find out where subaru ends up until closer to the SS and i think it tears him up a lot. he tears himself up a lot over the what ifs and how everything could have been different if he'd been different. eichi and wataru also like . over-mentor him to account for the fact that he is visibly expressing doubts about being there. again he's doing great as an idol but yknow. he keeps thinking about subaru and the rest of trickstar
subaru ends up in EDEN. he's on his villain arc. i think there's a universe where he drops out of yumenosaki or ends up very aimless and listless and ibara snaps him up like the opportunist he is. he banks on the fact that subaru is mad at hokuto and mad at eichi and tells subaru that joining eden will give him the chance he needs to take fine down at the SS. subaru slowly grows to love his place in eden and he's a bit of a meaner, colder version of himself when he re-meets hokuto at the SS
