Hey, I'm kinda back! First of all I want to apologize for the pending requests :( I had writer's block and recently I started another semester at Uni so I'm barely writing anything 🥹 But I hope this little something about Pup! Dani can make up for it </3
Puppy! Danielle x Fem! Owner! Reader, Hybrid AU, Fluff.
Tumblr media
Although you've bought Danielle all kinds of toys —plastic bones, balls, strings, even a squeaky toy in the shape of a steak— as soon as you get out of bed, ready for breakfast, you discover two things: Dani is not here. Your left slipper is gone, too.
Oh, my.
Still groggy from drowsiness, and more asleep than awake, you make your way across the room only to discover the entirety of the picture. Four more shoes are missing, both left and right, and the toys —the ones Dani was so amused playing with last night— are scattered all over the floor.
This is Dani's idea, you think as you bend down and pick up the squeaky steak-shaped toy, the aussie puppy's favorite. Maybe you can distract her with that (when you find her) and thus retrieve your footwear, if they're not already buried in the yard. Hopefully not.
"Dani! Where did you go, sweet girl?"
No answer.
"Dani? Dani! Where are you?
The hybrid doesn't answer your call either, so you end up leaving your room, toy in hand. You walk slowly, so you can look around carefully, in case you find any sign of Danielle's presence.
You live in a pretty little house, in a nice, familiar neighborhood, with access to a large backyard, and it suddenly occurs to you that this very spot might be the one where the puppy could be, playing around. It occurs to you that because, first of all, Dani has rambled on about 100 times about how much she loves the backyard, and because second, but not least, there are freaking footprints all over the floor.
They're mud stains, with Danielle's footprints in them. And boy, must she have been going around, because the footprints follow different patterns; zig-zag, in circles, in a straight line. You lean a little, examining the tracks that are fresher, because the mud spread on the ground is still wet, and you follow that trail of footsteps to the sliding door that leads to the garden.
The door is slightly open and when you open it all the way to get out, the morning breeze blows against your face. Brr, it's cold, and you feel a shiver down your back as you walk down the two small steps leading to the courtyard. The light morning dew keeps the grass pleasantly damp (not wet), but it looks so untouched that it doesn't look like Dani has been around.
If anything, everything is the same: the perfectly mowed lawn, the plantings of gypsophila and chrysanthemums, the little wooden bench where you sit to watch the sunset. Nothing is different...until, as you walk along, you notice small mounds of dirt and uprooted grass in one corner. Ding ding, there she is.
You follow that trail and, as you get closer, the pile of dirt and grass gets bigger, uncovering a shoe half-buried in a hole, and beyond that, the person responsible for said occurrence. Because of course, Dani not only leaves a trail of mayhem wherever she goes, but she's innocent (and dumb, in Haerin's words) enough to stay at the scene of the crime.
"Dani!" you call to her, approaching quickly. She's squatting, digging with both hands another hole to bury the lost slipper. She doesn't perk her ears up, doesn't seem to hear you, and keeps digging. "Danielle, for the love of all that is good what are you doing?"
The Australian shepherd puppy twitch and perks up her ears, recognizing your voice. She turns and her tail starts wagging, unbothered by being full of dirt from head to toe, she lunges to hug you so tightly that the two of you fall.
"OWNER, OWNER, OWNER! I MISSED YOU SO, SO, SO, SO MUCH!" Danielle squeals and spins in circles, tail wagging. She's super excited to see you at last. From the hybrid shelter days that Dani has a habit of waking up early, so when she comes to your home she does the exact same thing, so during the hours when you were sleeping, she has really missed you.
That's a lot of alone time for the innocent, restless puppy.
"I missed you too, puppy" you respond with a gasp, because Danielle's weight (who isn't exactly feather-light) is half cutting off your air supply by repeatedly jumping on you.
"VERY MUCH, VERY MUCH?" yep, Danielle doesn't know how to speak softly. She has to scream. Or bark, for all intents and purposes.
"Uh-huh, very much."
"Owner sleeps a lot," Danielle whines, frowning and pouting. "I got bored. But because I missed you so much, I stole your shoes. It's just that I wanted to play, y'know? and now I want to play too! Will you play with me?"
So many "play" in one sentence, you sigh, closing your eyes for a moment. You're going to do what the puppy wants...but in a moment. You need to catch your breath and be able to stand up.
"I'll play with you, but let me get up..."
But Dani, excited to know that you will play with her, doesn't listen to you. She jumps, spins, runs, and countless times manages to knock you down again and again. You are already tied as to who is dirtier for the dirt.
"PLAY, PLAY, PLAY, PLAY!"
"DANIELLE, I CAN'T GET UP!" you say, before another shove sends you flying. It's surprisingly strong. "Okay, that's it. I'm dead. Not moving from here."
If you'd said that to Hanni (which is like the most well-behaved), she'd probably drop her antics aside. But it's Danielle, aka 'I take things literally'.
"DON'T DIE, OWNER, YOU GOTTA PLAY WITH ME!" Danielle and her dirt-filled hands clamp down on your shoulders, whipping you around like a rag doll.
"Y'know, I thought you were going to say 'don't die, but because you love me."
"That too, BUT YOU HAVE TO PLAY WITH ME! I WILL DIE OF BOREDOM IF YOU DON'T PLAY WITH ME! so you play with me, or I'll bury all your shoes."
"Are you threatening me?"
"Um, no?"
"Uh-huh, I'll pretend to believe you." you shake your head, with some exasperation. Danielle relents and pulls away a little, just enough so she can do her little puppy eyes in an 'I didn't do it' kind of way.
God, this bratty puppy.
"So, yeah? we play?" insists the puppy, crawling towards you. She has dirt on her knees, dirt on her hands, and even leaves in her hair (and probably smells pretty nasty), but somehow inexplicably you strike her as the most precious living thing.
"Hey, sweet girl, let's make a deal. Yeah?" you get down on your knees, facing Dani, looking at her very lovingly. Even when Danielle does that kind of shenanigans on a constant, almost daily basis, it's like physically impossible to get mad at her.
If it's possible, you even love her even more. Her innocence, her energy, the transparency with which she expresses her feelings, are too much for your heart to handle. "first you're going to bathe, i'll put you in clean clothes, and then we can play. sometimes the dirt has bugs that can bite you or hurt you, and i don't want that for you. i promised you i'd take care of you, remember? that's why it's important to be clean, without dirt."
Dani nods, looking at you with those big eyes she gets whenever you talk to her. Her puppy dog look is a true reflection of the purity she possesses, and in turn, the undisguised affection in her eyes. She admires and loves you, and you reciprocate such feelings.
"You see? you're a good girl, Dani. Very good girl, and I love you so much" not caring that you are both full of dirt, completely obviating the fact of getting dirty, you clasp the puppy in a warm embrace.
"I love you too, owner."
"Now...who wants a bath then play?" you ask with a playful little smile, kissing Dani's head, her plush little ears, then down her forehead, nose and cheeks. Dani stifles a bark of happiness, as she wiggles in your arms, before letting go and darting off into the house, screaming in a baton, "BATH-BATH-BATH!"
God, you adore her so much.
After Danielle enters the house like a bullet, you stare at her for a moment, smiling without realizing it, your heart overflowing with joy and love. That puppy, who in a daily dose fills your yard with holes and buries your shoes, has brought into your life the most wonderful, unfading happiness.
Life with Dani feels like a vast ocean of possibilities that opens in front your eyes; new adventures, the almost certainty that nothing is impossible, and in general everything that you could live together with Danielle, because next to her, you can be sure that everything will be fine.
That everything is limitless, just like the sky, as long as you have each other.

Gypsophila is the basis for many bouquets and symbolizes friendship, support and innocent love. It is one of the most fade-resistant flowers, so it retains it's appearance even when the plant has withered.
In the first year of study Ida had too many worries and, despite her fragile appearance, she was able to find the strength to support people nearby and at the same time preserve herself.

Here I am again with little oc portrait. It's my self-insert character from Dragon Age Dorothea. She is very pious and humble lady with desires that make her feel wrong...
Gypsophila in her hand symbolises purity and innocence while a strand of hair sticking out from the headscarf symbolises sin.
If you recognise crown design then you surely understand who is my beloved character in this game.
Some feedback would be appreciated 👉🏻👈🏻

✧・゚: *✧・゚:* 🌹RIDDLE BIRTHDAY SSR FLOWER ANALYSIS* 🌹*:・゚✧*:・゚✧
Unsurprisingly, Riddle has roses. The red roses in his bouquet symbolize commitment, devotion, and elegance, as well as passion. Pink roses stand for gratitude, admiration, sweetness, and elegance as well. Other than the red and pink roses in full bloom, he also has green rosebuds. Rosebuds in general are symbols of beauty and courage, while green roses represent cheerfulness and rejuvenation. However, they can also stand for jealousy and envy.
In the Victorian Language of Flowers dianthus is a symbol of passion, affection, and gratitude. They have a spicy scent, and it’s thought that letting its smell be blown away by the wind after picking and smelling it, your troubles will be carried off as well.
Cockscomb is associated with wealth and prosperity, or courage and bravery, though in literature it often symbolizes arrogance or pride. In the Victorian era, it signified passion and deep emotional bonds. Nowadays, cockscomb is often used in political campaigns and protests as a symbol of resistance and fighting oppression.
The big red flowers in his bouquet are either gaillardias or gerberas. Gaillardias, in the Language of Flowers, are used to represent joy, optimism and happiness, as well as modesty, aristocracy, and abundance. Gerberas on the other hand typically stand for beauty, innocence, purity, and loyalty.
Gypsophila, or baby’s breath, is a symbol of young love, everlasting love, and new beginnings, as well as innocence, and is usually gifted to mothers.
The two-colored flower at the edge of his bouquet could be red-white cosmos or checkers dahlia. Cosmos flowers represent order and harmony, balance, innocence, modestly, joy, and beauty. Dahlias are symbols of elegance, inner strength, change, and dignity. However, they also have some more negative meanings, such as instability, betrayal, and dishonestly.
Butterfly weed symbolizes personal transformation and growth, such as letting go of grief, as well as human resilience, and the happiness and positivity that comes from change.
Finally, he has a little prince protea in its still closed state. Proteas symbolize boldness, transformation, and change, diversity, strength, and adaptability. It relies on fire to sprout its seeds so the meanings of reliance, and the power to survive practically anything are especially prominent and common.
Naturally, these are only my un-educated guesses considering I’m by no means a flower specialist so take everything with a grain of salt, and feel free to let me know if I got anything wrong/what flowers I might’ve missed.

Flower language for Mikey
In chapter 270, the door of TR's secrets was opened, and also revealed the heartbreaking state of Manjiro, who eventually passed away.
Shinichiro gave a proper funeral for his precious little brother, dedicating a sea of flowers to him, expressing his feelings for Mikey.
Among the floral composition we can see orchids, roses, lilies, gypsophila and several gentian flowers.
Tumblr media
First of all, it should be noted that funerals in Japan are Shinto with elements of Buddhism. And they are characterized by the use of colors of calm shades and white.
For funerals in Japan, lilies, orchids and chrysanthemums are used, but you can also choose other flowers that comply with norms and traditions.
Flowers for funerals are of great importance, there are certain rules for giving/offering them that should be followed.
1. Lilies
Lilies have a worldwide meaning of "purity and innocence". But, besides this, there is the meaning of “dignity, greatness”, which originates from the 3rd millennium BC. in the form of a royal lily emblem.
The meaning of "innocence" lily began to acquire with the spread of Christianity. Therefore, you can find images of Christ among the lilies or the identification of the Virgin Mary with an immaculate lily.
2. Gypsophila
Gypsophila in the language of flowers means "innocence and purity", "divinity" and "eternal love". The meaning of "eternal love" dates back to Victorian England, where gypsophila was used in wedding bouquets. This flower has an informal name, "baby's breath", which may refer to the child's chastity.
3. Roses
These are one of the most classic colors. But the bottom line is that roses were not used for funerals in Japan before, and only in recent years have they begun to be used.
For roses, there is one common meaning “eternal love”.
4. Orchid
A luxurious and expensive flower that is used in Japan at the funerals of influential or wealthy people.
Orchid is the queen of flowers, meaning “flight of happiness”, “pure love”, “tender memories”.
5. Gentian
Gentian is an autumn flower that dilutes the faded landscape with purple, is a medicinal and ornamental plant. The flower means “I love you when you are sad” and “sincere love”.
The flowers that surround Mikey are very diverse and beautiful.
An innocent and pure person, like a child, this is how Manjiro Sano originally appeared before our eyes. He does what he likes, takes offense if there is no flag in his children's dinner, makes friends only with those who are interesting to him and easily influenced by others.
And the very greatness of Manjiro is immortalized in flowers. It's like he's not dead, but just sleeping on a flower bed. Arrogant and superior. Sets high goals for himself and leads the people like a brilliant king.
The flowers show all of Shin's great love for his little brother, as a symbol of beautiful and sincere love. After all, Shinichiro loves Manjiro, and Manjiro loves Shinichiro. They cannot live without each other and suffer when they are alone.
As flowers grow from the earth, so love is born from nature.

New Beginnings
Jumin nervously adjusted his tie with his unoccupied hand for what must be the tenth time since putting it on, holding a modest bouquet of flowers in the other. He had considered traditional red roses, perhaps more fitting for the occasion, but had ultimately settled on a smaller array of delicate flowers. Cheerful bright yellow petals interspersed with small white blooms of gypsophila. He felt intuitively that these flowers suited your humble and gentle nature, and he felt reassured upon learning some meanings behind them. According to the florist, gypsophila can represent innocence and new beginnings. What could be more appropriate to congratulate you for your first party with the RFA?
And the added meaning of undying love was one that he would keep to himself if questioned about what inspired his choice.
He imagined what your reaction might be when he would give them to you. He suspected that your bright smile would match the flowers, and just the thought of it was accompanied with a feeling of warmth. As heat rose to his face so did his hand rise with it, back to his tie in anxious habit.
~~~
Jumin spotted you in the crowd almost instantly, his gaze guided toward you as if possessing an internal compass. He felt relief from his anxious anticipation at the mere sight of you. His shy smile would be indication enough to anyone that knew him of his feelings towards you. But he was oblivious to the clues his expression betrayed; smiling around you was as involuntary and natural as breathing.
He made his way to you - feet almost walking on their own, as though a string were pulling him - when the sight of Zen approaching you grounded him in place. His smile faltered and his breath caught in his throat. The bouquet of roses Zen presented you was returned with a smile and the color deepening on your face.
With a shaky sigh, Jumin released the air he had been holding and turned away.
“Mr. Han?”
Jaehee’s voice came with the reminder to steady himself. With practiced ease he fell into his meticulously-trained exterior.
“Ah, Assistant Kang. Good timing. Would you mind setting these aside for MC? I’m sure she has enough going on at the moment than to worry about where to put more flowers.” His voice came out more strained than he had hoped.
“Of course, Mr. Han. Some of the guests have been asking if you had arrived yet. It seems that many of the guests that you suggested were eager to attend.”
~~~
To say that you were nervous would be an understatement. It was your first time coordinating an event like this, and for an organization that you had only just joined! You hadn’t even met most of the members yet, although you felt close to them already after countless conversations in the chatroom or over the phone.
You stood among the guests, feeling relieved that there was such good turnout. You had already spoken to Jaehee, who was especially helpful when it came to greeting the attendees, and had asked her if Jumin had arrived yet. You hoped that you didn’t seem too eager to meet him. When she said that he was on his way, anticipation and nerves filled your chest.
As you scanned the large room for him, you were met with a different set of familiar eyes. Zen quickly approached you and you felt that his pictures on the messenger didn’t fully prepare you for his looks.
No wonder he can’t stop talking about how handsome he is.
Anyone that looked like he did would be intimidating if you hadn’t come to know him on the messenger. From the very beginning he was welcoming and trusting toward you. His praise and terms of endearments that flowed all too easily caught you off guard at first, but you were glad to see other sides to him. His kindness towards the members of the RFA, his insecurities, and how hard he works at what he loves. But somehow you couldn’t shake the nagging thought that his warmth and affection was not reserved for you alone. Or at least, it came too easily. Despite the bashful smile his affection elicited from you, it was too familiar too quickly.
But still, he had become a dear friend to you, along with the other members. So when he handed you beautiful roses along with his charismatic smile, you couldn’t help the blush that spread across your cheeks.
“Jagiya~ It’s so nice to finally meet you in person! Congratulations on organizing such an amazing event. All your hard work paid off!”
“Thanks Zen, it’s so nice to see you in person, too. The roses are beautiful - you didn’t have to…”
“Are you being shy? So cute~”
“Don’t tease me!” With a laugh, you added, “Oh, have you seen Jumin by the way?”
His expression soured at your question, annoyance at the mention of Jumin’s name instantly evident across his features.
“No, I haven’t seen the Trust Fund kid yet. He better not have brought his cat with him.”
Recollecting some of the conversations in the chatroom between Jumin and Zen, your heart sank. Zen’s willing misunderstanding of Jumin was something that you deeply wished could be resolved.
“Don’t worry, Jumin promised that he wouldn’t bring her. Um, I’m going to put these flowers somewhere safe, okay? Thank you again, they’re so pretty.” You replied to Zen, trying to remain light-hearted. With a smile, you headed through the reception hall to one of the back rooms where you were keeping some of your things from the party set-up.
On your way in, you nearly bumped into Jaehee in the doorway.
“Hi, MC. I just left some flowers from Mr. Han for you in there.”
Your heart swelled. “For me? From Jumin?” She replied with a nod and a small smile, and you thanked her shyly as she left.
A wide smile spread across your face as you set down the roses in place of the bouquet Jaehee left behind. As you admired the arrangement of flowers, you thought of Jumin. Did he pick these out personally for you? What expression would he have made had he handed them to you himself? You felt a pang of regret at that thought. Why hadn’t he given them to you himself?
“MC?”
Your eyes widened at the deep yet gentle voice that came from behind you. A voice that you had come to know very well this last week or so. It brought instant comfort and joy.
Holding the flowers even closer to your chest, you turned around to finally meet him, previously contained excitement and happiness now bursting forth through your wide eyes and smile.
~~~
His voice came out hesitant and quiet despite his efforts at remaining level-headed. But even so, it had the desired effect as you turned towards him.
And there you were, your radiance overpowering that of the flowers he chose for you. Just as he had imagined it. He knew from your profile picture that you had a brightness to you, even believing he could hear it in your voice as you laughed at something he said during one of your many phone calls. But the full force of seeing it in person was enough to steal his breath away.
“Jumin!”
He could almost fool himself into believing that your expression towards him was different than it was with Zen. That it held something more affectionate.
“Jaehee said that you were looking for me…” It was all he could manage, shock and uncertainty still knotted in his mind.
“Hm? Oh… yeah, I was. I was really looking forward to meeting you, Jumin.” You admitted with a bashful smile, averting your eyes in embarrassment.
His lips curved up to mirror your own.
“I was very much looking forward to meeting you too, MC. I see you received the flowers. I wanted to congratulate and thank you for organizing such a wonderful party.”
“Yes, they’re so lovely Jumin. Thank you. Although I was just wondering why you asked Jaehee to leave them here instead of finding me…”
As your voice faded with uncertainty, his glance towards the roses sitting behind you provided enough of a hint.
“But seeing you now makes it feel like I received them from you! Thank you again, I love them.”
His expression softened at your subtle reassurance. Your kindness and understanding towards him was more than he had ever known.
The music you had organized for the event grew loud enough to reach the back room where you two stood, signaling an invitation for the guests to dance. Recognizing the waltz, Jumin summoned courage, hoping to compensate for his earlier missed opportunity.
“I don’t usually dance at these events, but perhaps I could begin to, if you would be willing to join me?” His hand left its spot at his cufflink, instead reaching out to you in a timid invitation.
And as you set the flowers down to instead place your hand in his, he found the warmth that had been missing from his life.
“I would love to, Jumin.”
it took me a second to gather my thoughts and send the evidence forward, BUT... here is my little analysis on some things i've seen in the castle (or have had mentioned to me) that i thought were interesting
(feel free to correct me if i'm mistaken on something)
the first thing i wanted to mention was how many naked/suggestive lady statues there were
Tumblr media
this one in particular was just in her room in the beginning (lesbian), but i believe i counted about eleven different statues with those requirements? four of the masked ones, the same four in the Hall of the Four, and i believe three of those statues pictured above, one of which was in the attic
meanwhile, all the statues of men are clothed or look professionally done (some even looking like Greek busts), but any that were not fully clothed were hidden from sight in some way, be it stored in another, less-trafficked room or kept in a corner, like this one:
Tumblr media
tell me that's not some homosexuality
ANYWAY, i also wanted to delve deeper into the flowers we see throughout the castle and perhaps any hidden meaning behind them, at least from what i could see
Tumblr media
it was kind of hard to tell what flowers were in this one, but from what i could see:
the purple coneflower seems to represent health and healing, or even strength and well-being. when i talk about the other meanings, you'll see why this would be important
the whitish pink flower in the middle appears to be a pink peony, and this flower is known to represent good luck and prosperity, among other things. peonies in general seem to represent love, honor, happiness wealth, romance, and beauty. this does seem to be a light pink peony, which are often included in wedding bouquets
moving on, we have the obvious red rose, something i'm sure we all know the meaning to by now. if not, red roses represent "newlywed bliss and mutual respect and appreciation between the couple." a little simpler, they often stand for love and romance :)
i couldn't quite tell exactly what that white flower was, but my best guess was the gypsophila, which seems to represent eternal love and innocence, often used in weddings. anyone else noticing a pattern, here?
anyway, next we have what appears to be lavenders sticking out toward the top. these often represent things like "purity, silence, devotion, serenity, grace, and calmness." i'm really starting to see a pattern-
this almost seems like it would be a wedding bouquet, or perhaps a flower arrangement meant to commemorate the act. there are several around the castle, and while i believe these flowers were also in Biohazard in the main house, i just found it interesting, considering Lady Dimitrescu's lesbianism :)
moving on!
i had a bit of a jumpscare with this painting of the man i saw in the wine room, especially when i saw the ring on his finger
Tumblr media Tumblr media
but not to worry! after doing a little bit of research, i discovered that the single ring on someone's pinky finger most likely meant they were part of the crime world, and more specifically, the mafia, though that doesn't make much sense here. another source also says that wearing a single ring on your left pinky finger means the person is unmarried, and that made me feel so much better
the man seems to be a hunter of some sort, considering what appears to be bird feet beneath his hand, and for a minute while i was researching and wandering aimlessly around the castle, i wondered if this could be Rednic. it kind of makes sense, doesn't it? Rednic smuggles in people, most likely for the wine business, and this man is in a prime spot in the wine room
alas, i don't believe he's anything more than a Dimitrescu ancestor, at best. he has several more paintings of himself in this exact pose around the castle, usually paired with another, older man, and that alone tells me he's likely no one too important, though i would like to know if his placement is intentional or just for decoration
i know Capcom has a tendency to just reuse assets, but i like to overanalyze things for my own enjoyment </3
onto probably my last point, i did want to talk about the ablution room, too, assuming tumblr allows me these images. the funniest thing (in my opinion) is that when i brought up some other sapphic imagery in Castle Dimitrescu, a lot of people reminded me about the ablution room and the puzzle within:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"women are blind to male advances" is a well-known line when we talk about sapphic imagery, and what's even funnier is the violets right below the sign, which are also well-known to represent sapphics. anyone who claims Lady Dimitrescu is not queer is literally lying
especially with this stature, which has been confirmed to represent her. i mean, even look at the height compared to the other woman, as well as the way she's dressed. why are they staring so intently at each other?? plus the wine, the ragged-looking clothes... the symbolism is everywhere
Tumblr media
anyways, while this may be a bit of a stretch, i also wanted to point out a few things i noticed before but never really went into detail about previously
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
we can see in the first image that this seems to be a lounging area? minus the toilet, but the room is big enough for it to house several people, obviously, and that makes sense; ablution just stands for "the act of washing oneself," though it's typically meant in a religious way, i believe? it makes sense, considering, yknow... the cult...
anyway, so we've got the castle's bathing room, probably for the maids, all things considered. the second picture features what appears to be some sort of menstruation chair? someone actually pointed this out to me because i had no idea what it was, but considering the noblewomen inhabitants' diet... hm. yeah. it's an easy way to sate their thirst, i suppose, if that's what it's used for
next are the sinks, which i believe may be a bit of a stretch with this theory, but hear me out:
see how one of those sinks has lipstick on it? i never really noticed before, but it does have the exact same casing on it as Lady Dimitrescu's, and hers is special made... it makes me wonder if one sink is specifically hers and if the ablution room is also a sort of blood or feeding room, and that's why she has that there. she would probably need to fix herself up after a feeding or even other activities, assuming she even mingled with the help to begin with
at first, i wondered if the other sink was supposed to be specifically someone else's, perhaps the woman we see all over the castle? but i don't think that makes much sense, and maybe they're both just for general use. considering the blood in the bath and the way it's smeared across the floor, i assume someone was bathing in it and couldn't clean it all up before the events of Village
i'm likely just talking out of my ass for most of this, but it was fun to look into things and do some research :3 probably won't do this again because Nerves™️, and also because i know most of this is probably just reused assets, but oh, well. i had fun, and hopefully you had fun reading :D
10 Trendy Wedding Flowers, Perfect for Every Bride
Selecting flowers for a wedding ceremony can be a challenging yet pleasant task for any bride. While the decision is significant, it's not necessary to waste time searching for an extravagant solution. Instead, take advantage of the wisdom passed down by the most sophisticated brides of the century. Whether you're looking for stunning centerpieces for a luxurious wedding or modest arrangements for any other event, make sure to check out Flowwow London, the top online marketplace that offers quick and dependable delivery.
Tumblr media
Peony – The Queen of All Weddings
In 2001, Nicole Kidman established herself as an influential wedding trendsetter by selecting beautiful white Duchesse peonies for her ceremony. This style was subsequently adopted by other celebrities, such as Nicole Ricci and Jennifer Lopez, making white peonies the go-to choice for all marriage-related events. Peonies symbolize prosperity and good fortune, and their rich fragrance is renowned for its calming properties, which can be particularly useful for an anxious bride.
Phalaenopsis Orchid – Unique Tropical Deities
Orchids are perhaps the most conventionally "feminine" flowers used in contemporary floral arrangements, and they are essential for creating cascading, waterfall-style bouquets. Milla Jovovich, Eva Longoria, and Sofia Vergara famously opted for white Phalaenopsis orchids for their wedding ceremonies. However, if you prefer to add a pop of color to your centerpieces, blue, pink, purple, and even yellow orchids can be a fantastic alternative to consider.
Freesia – The Choice of Aristocrats
Freesias have a delicate and refreshing scent that complements cream roses, white tulips, or the little wax stars of stephanotis perfectly. These flowers are a timeless choice for classic-style weddings and have been favored by royal brides such as Diana Spencer, Sophie Rhys-Jones, and Pippa Middleton.
Ranunculus – The Reign of White Petal
Bold and expressive, ranunculus flowers are reminiscent of thousands of delicate muslin petals assembled together, making them an eye-catching choice. They make for stunning mono-bouquets, but they also pair beautifully with creamy roses, fluffy peonies, and snowy white jasmine, as demonstrated by Priyanka Chopra.
Eustoma – For Originality and Volume
Eustomas have a delicate and refined appearance that makes them an ideal choice for bouquets of both round and elongated shapes, as they add significant volume to any arrangement. With a wide variety of shades available, eustomas can fit into countless styles, ranging from boho chic to goblincore. Former Miss Hong Kong, Grace Chan, demonstrated her elegant taste by combining both eustoma and ranunculus in her bridal bouquet for her celebrity wedding.
Gypsophila – An Old Tradition
Long and slender stems adorned with countless tiny round buds make gypsophila a long-standing favorite among wedding florists. If you envision carrying a soft white cloud during your ceremony, a mono-bouquet of gypsophila is an excellent choice. For a more unconventional option, take inspiration from Ashley Tisdale's remarkable wedding look and consider a gypsophila flower crown.
Сalla Lily – Exotic, Graceful, and Pure
Calla lilies, with their stunning elongated shape, are among the world's most popular flowers and are frequently used to create tall bouquets. Wedding florists often choose the white variety, as it symbolizes femininity, purity, and innocence. This particular variety is an excellent choice for venue decor, as demonstrated by Lauren Rodriguez's exquisite ceremony. If you want to add a touch of fiery passion or bashful tenderness, consider red or pink calla lilies, respectively.
Gardenia – For Sophisticated Compositions
Softly textured white flowers are a popular choice among film stars for creating intricate wedding bouquets that exude a classic look. Gardenias are particularly well-suited for pairing with roses, wildflowers, and bluebells, and are believed to prevent jealousy among newlyweds. Both Maxima Zorreguieta and Princess Victoria have showcased stunning bridal arrangements featuring gardenias.
Lilies-of-the-valley – A Timeless Icon
White porcelain lilies-of-the-valley are pure and simple, making them an ideal choice for any young bride. These charming pearl-like flowers are irreplaceable for natural-style weddings. Keep in mind that Grace Kelly, Duchess Katherine, Claudia Schiffer, and Elizabeth Hurley all chose lilies-of-the-valley for their unforgettable wedding ceremonies.
Tumblr media
Protea – The Symbol of Everlasting Luxury
To stand out from the crowd, consider selecting the exotic and lavish-looking protea for your wedding. This variety, which has the appearance of a bright pink cone, has only recently become a trendy wedding solution. Being an unmatched choice for a resplendent bouquet, these flowers will certainly be enjoyed by an extravagant bride in an unconventional wedding dress, as demonstrated by Elle Exxe.
FAQ:
What flowers make a nice wedding bouquet?
For traditional wedding ceremonies, the top choices among flowers are peonies, gardenias, and eustomas. However, other lovely options include delicate clusters of lilies-of-the-valley, spray roses (a miniature version of regular roses), charming daisies, and airy gypsophilas.
What is the most popular wedding bouquet?
Cream-colored roses and white phalaenopsis orchids have been popular choices in wedding floristry for a long time. However, with the current trend of embracing traditional styles, it's worth considering incorporating wildflowers such as bluebells, cornflowers, lavender, and cotton into your wedding bouquet.
Which wedding flower is the most expensive?
The price of a bridal bouquet is determined by the flower types and the chosen design, so the more intricate the arrangement, the higher the cost. For instance, a full boho-style bouquet featuring wildflowers and cotton will be more expensive than a simple white rose boutonniere.
