Is Dudley better than Draco?
I very often come across the opinion that Draco is worse than Dudley. Most often, this opinion is argued by the fact that Dudley did not need to go through Draco's traumatic experience in order to change, and Draco himself changed only when he found himself at the bottom. Seriously? Both boys had completely different life paths and upbringings. Draco and Dudley are completely different.
Dudley and Draco. Upbringing.
Dudley and Harry are cousins. They were raised together from infancy. And their relationship is definitely bad. Harry and Dudley can't stand each other, even though they are blood relatives who grew up together all their lives. This was influenced by Petunia and Veronon. Their attitude towards Harry distorted the possible brotherly friendship between the children even in the early stages of the development of their consciousness. The adults created a wall between them. Harry felt hostility and envy towards Dudley. Dudley felt contempt and disgust for Harry. Living in the same house, they were almost enemies. At the same time, they were brought up in a fairly ordinary society. They visited school and various places, interacted with other children and so on. That is, they had ideas about the family, the institution of the family and moral values. Most often, the institution of family means love and support, which clearly was not the case in their relationship. Moral behavior is how children are usually raised in our world. At a minimum, even if they didn’t talk about it at home, at school there could be a topic of conversation about family. Both Dudley and Harry knew that as cousins they should be on good terms and bullying was not right.
Draco grew up in a huge family estate with his parents and elves. Of Draco's closest relatives, only his parents and grandfather were his. Bellatrix and Rodolphus were imprisoned in Azkaban when Draco was one year old. Regulus died before he was born. Anromeda and Sirius were no longer part of the family. It is not known whether Draco knew any of his grandmothers personally. Even if he knew Walburga, it was not for long, since she died when Draco was 5 years old. So it turns out that his family is Narcissa, Lucius and Abraxas. And they are all purebred wizards with the ideology of blood superiority. And as the only people who surrounded him in childhood, they instilled in him their worldview.
No one could question this worldview. The elves served the Malfoy family loyally and wouldn't dare say the wrong thing. Malfoy Manor is secluded; Draco clearly did not have the opportunity to play with the neighboring children. The people who could come to visit were like his parents. School? No. Draco, as a member of the aristocracy, received appropriate training. Most likely, he had purebred teachers and tutors who taught etiquette, spelling, art and what else the little gentleman needed to know. Draco was literally cut off from the rest of the world. He was not taught mercy and kindness, he was taught that he was better than others and must live up to this.
Dudley and Draco. Spoiled.
Draco and Dudley's desires are spoiled by their parents. As children, they were bought expensive toys and things. They never lacked for anything. However, even if we take the very first book as an example, we will see that both boys are different.
Dudley poked his parents with a stick, argued and was unhappy, tried to fight with his father because of Harry's letter. This is literally everything that Draco did not allow himself to do in relation to Narcissa and Lucius.
Dudley puts himself above his parents. Draco doesn't question his parents' authority.
Dudley is spoiled and believes that since Petunia and Vernon love him, he can do whatever he wants. Draco is spoiled because he is a Malfoy and he knows that he must live up to his status.
Draco.
Draco does everything to meet Lucius' expectations. One of the best students in the course, a member of the Quiditch team, a prefect and a death eater. Draco literally did all this for his parents. Academic success was expected of him and he provided it. From childhood he was told that serving their lord was an honor and he served.
But, Draco is a bastard. Draco is a coward. Draco is an arrogant bully. Draco could be a better person. But Draco was the best for his parents, high society and status.
Draco had no empathy. He did not know how to sympathize with others, he did not know that it was necessary.
Draco was boastful and arrogant. But even good people can like to brag and have inflated self-esteem.
Draco bullied others. But he didn't know how much it hurt. And only when he myself found meself in the victim’s place did he understand what mental and physical pain was.
After Draco finds himself at the bottom, he realizes that everything that made sense before turns out to be not so significant. In the sixth book, his world collapses, and already in the seventh it is built according to a new way of life. His social status is simply terrible. His family fell. He is no longer an arrogant boy. Now he can understand someone else's pain. He stops putting himself above others. At the end of the book series, Draco goes into the future as a completely different person. And this future is bright.
Dudley.
I think Dudley was emotionally attached to Harry and when he realized that now they would not meet again, it dawned on him that he did not hate Harry. Perhaps they could be good brothers?
P.s.They're both assholes and that's a fact. They have changed and that is also a fact. They were able to grow up, change and become better people.
(This is truly the evolution of Dudley and Draco as characters. For example, Snape and the Marauders never grew up. Remember the meeting of Sirius and Snape in book 3.)

Theory: Mikey is a time traveler.
I have long had the idea that Mikey is a time traveler, but now I am almost sure of it.
The first thing that led me to this thought was that Takemichi, in his original timeline, was still Kiyomasa's punching bag.
(I will call the timeline that Michi came from the original one, but after his time jump it was changed so as not to be confused)
Takemichi fell under Kiyomasa's influence in his second year of high school and the bullying continued until graduation. So it went on for a year. And during this year, Mikey did not appear and stopped the lawlessness, as was the case in the third chapter.
This is strange. Mikey hates betting fights so he would definitely stop them. It didn't happen in the original line, but it did in the modified one.
So if Mikey got the ability to travel through time after stabbing Takemichi with a katana. After that, he will fall approximately in the period when Toman has already grown and attracted the attention of Kisaki, but he has not had time to meet Takemichi yet.
And knowing what would happen next, he deliberately did not stop Kiyomasa so as not to meet with Takemichi.
He partnered with Kisaki in hopes of shutting out everyone he cares about, and this merged into the timeline where the story began (the original timeline for Takemichi), the one where Mikey and Kisaki are the heads of Toman.
We don't know much about this timeline. We can't even tell who the Toman members were. But if Mikey nevertheless decided to isolate his friends from himself, then it is possible that they are alive and are not connected with Toman.
But we know from the first chapter that Hinata died due to Tokyo Manji's internal conflict. Most likely, something went wrong in the relationship between Kisaki and Mikey (? Or because of something else?) and this led to the death of those whom Mikey protected and not knowing what to do, he decided to try his luck and try to change everything through Takemichi.
Mikey threw Takemichi under the train, knowing that this was how he began his journey through time. This resulted in an altered timeline where Mikey didn't have the "Traveler Mikey" consciousness. Mikey doesn't know what's going to happen, he's just a 15 year old boy and that's why in this version he goes to deal with Kiyomasa.
The very first problem that Mikey and Takemichi faced in the altered timeline was the Moebius Gang.
Möbius is the mathematician who discovered the Möbius strip.
The Mobius strip is a symbol of the dual perception of the one. The Mobius strip seems to speak of the interpenetration, interconnectedness and infinity of everything in our world.
The gang emblem itself is presented in the form of a snake - Ouroboros, which crowds into an infinity symbol and eats itself.
Ouroboros is a mythological creature that is a snake that eats its own tail. Along with this Ouroboros, it is also one of the most ancient symbols. It denotes the cyclical nature of events.
That is, the journey of Takemichi and Mikey is an endless cycle that has been repeated many times already. The cycle that created the desire to save and the desire to protect what is dear to them.
Takemichi starts his story from the moment Mikey finishes his. Mikey, on the other hand, begins his story from the end of the Takemichi story. Infinity has been their first and foremost problem throughout time.

Shinichiro is too lazy
From the very beginning, they tried to convince us that Shinichiro was a weakling. This was claimed by Takeomi and Manjiro.
But now, as we get to know him, we can see that this is not so. Previously, it could be said that what happened in chapter 270 (hitting the wall and beating up the guys from the club) was just an exception that happened under the influence of emotions. Then in chapter 273, he was quite calm when he damaged a lamppost.

Manjiro and Shinichiro. Clothing comparison between Mikey and Shin
The cover of volume 30 of the manga is finally out and I can compare these two images with peace of mind.
There are common features on their costumes, namely the image of Nue and gentians. But Shin has dragon and orchid images on his clothes.
Nue.
Nue (鵺) is a mythical creature seen in the ancient chronicles of medieval Japan. It has the head of a monkey, the body of a tanuki, the legs of a tiger, and a snake instead of a tail. Nue can turn into a black cloud and fly. Because of its appearance, it is sometimes referred to as the Japanese Chimera. She is not a predator, but feeds on human fears.
Nue is described in the historical Japanese chronicle dating back to the 12th century. The chapter "Nue" describes the following: "In the era of Nimpyo, during the reign of sovereign Konoe, the emperor suffered every night from an incomprehensible illness, and he was tormented by nightmares, from which he even lost consciousness. Nue is an allegory for the Black Impulse of the Sano brothers.
Nue makes the emperor suffer. The Black Impulse causes Mikey and Shin to suffer.
Nue can turn into a black cloud. A black impulse literally swirls around a person and makes him lose control of himself.
Nue is a chimera made up of parts from different animals. We all know how Mikey tends to take on the looks of people he cares about.
Nue can be said to be a being that mirrors the Sano brothers. (It only partially applies to Shinichiro, because the other half of the costume depicts a dragon. This refers to the duality of Shin. He can be both a majestic dragon and Nue).
The Dragon.
The golden dragon is located on the left side of Shin's cape, right next to the heart.
Gold is the official color of Shinichiro. The dragon refers us to his gang "Black Dragons".
The golden dragon is a symbol of power and strength. Both Chinese and Japanese emperors were given the epithet "dragon-faced". Moreover, it was believed that some emperors had a dragon's tail. Previously, only members of the imperial family were allowed to wear robes with gold elements / gold color.
Also, the dragon repeatedly acts as a protector of the buddhas and a generous giver of happiness and wealth.
Manjiro is the Buddha. There is a golden statue of Manjiro that replicates the golden statue of the reclining Buddha. In addition, the Manji sign is a symbol of the footprints of the Buddha.
The dragon protects the Buddha. Shinichiro protects Manjiro.
In Western folklore, dragons are tough creatures that have a penchant for collecting various treasures. Often they spend time in their lair and guard the jewels.

Both of these flowers were used for Manjiro's funeral to express the love of the Sano brothers.
BUT these two flowers are often used in manga. This worries me a little.
Their names are in Japanese.
Gentian - 竜胆 (Rindo), Orchid - 蘭 (Ran). These flowers are literally the names of the Haitani brothers. The kanji in Rindo's name also have separate meanings 竜 (ryuu) - dragon, 胆 (kimo) - courage, spirit.
His name may mean "Dragon Spirit". The dragon is bonded by Shinichiro, Draken, and Mitsuya. With the closest people in Mikey's life who protect him from others.
Could the Haitani brothers have a connection to the Sano brothers or time traveler?
Even the clothes show a deep connection between Shinichiro and Manjiro. It has similarities as well as differences that show that they are very similar, but each one is unique in its own way. They both have great charisma, know how to change people and cannot live without each other. But also their methods, behavior, abilities are opposite. Even their characteristics are different. Shin is a crybaby who always lost. Manjiro is the "Invincible Mikey" who holds back tears.
They are like yin and yang, opposites making up a single whole.
They are the Sano brothers.

Flower language for Mikey
In chapter 270, the door of TR's secrets was opened, and also revealed the heartbreaking state of Manjiro, who eventually passed away.
Shinichiro gave a proper funeral for his precious little brother, dedicating a sea of flowers to him, expressing his feelings for Mikey.
Among the floral composition we can see orchids, roses, lilies, gypsophila and several gentian flowers.
First of all, it should be noted that funerals in Japan are Shinto with elements of Buddhism. And they are characterized by the use of colors of calm shades and white.

Shin and Mikey are very similar. It is clear that they are brothers.
These are the only brothers in my memory who have a tradition of jumping from a height in front of the same person.
In fact, it's sad that they both think that death is the only way out for them. Both blame themselves for the death of loved ones and think that they do not deserve happiness.

I was not very surprised by the information about another "time jumper". Was it predictable? It was just clear that there was someone else besides Shin and Takemichi. And maybe even Shin's memories can't tell us everything about time travel.

The worst thing about this chapter is Mikey's state, I can't even read this page properly because it hurts to see Mikey like this.

Name Shinichiro
How did I not realize this before. Shinichiro consists of: 真 (shin) - truth; 一 (ichi) -one, beginning; 郎 (ro) - son (counting suffix for the number of sons). The first two kanji can be understood as "True Beginning" and "The Only Truth". In the first case, it may refer to the 1st timeline that started it all. In the second case, the whole truth is in Shinichiro, and through the story about him, we can find out everything. Wakui-san is a genius, that's a fact. Leaving a clue to the plot through the name of the character is just great.
I think it's worth writing another etymology of the names of the TR characters.

Analysis of the meaning of the symbolism of the “Team Walhalla” from Tokyo Revengers.
Gang of Walhalla. A gang of delinquents that was created by Kisaki to carry out his plan to control Mikey. The gang was led by Hanma, with former Mobius members becoming members. The event associated with Walhalla - Bloody Halloween is one of the most important in the manga, whose consequences still have to be dealt with.
The emblem of Valhalla is a headless angel with "芭流覇羅" written underneath. On their bomber jackets, the name is already written on the top as “Team Walhalla”.
Walhalla. Walhalla (Scand. Valhǫll - "chamber of the dead", "palace of the slain") - in German-Scandinavian mythology, a heavenly chamber in Asgard, where soldiers who fell in battle fall after death, and where they continue their former heroic life. Warriors who have fallen into Valhalla are called einherjar.
Einheri literally means "one who fights alone".
Virtually no one from Walhalla can be called a warrior. Not former Mobius members, not Hanma, not Kazutora. They do not have the qualities that are characteristic of a warrior. Nobility, courage, bravery is what is inherent in a true warrior. They respect the code of honor and adhere to it. That was Keisuke Baji, the man who fought against Kisaki and his pawns even though he was alone.
Baji is an Einheri who gave his life for the sake of his friends and what is dear to him, he fulfilled his duty as a warrior. He ends his life doing seppuku.
Seppuku is ritual suicide by ripping open the abdomen, adopted among the samurai. This could be a measure of punishment (sentence), a sign of loyalty to one's daimyo (master) or one's ideals, as well as the defense of a warrior's honor, ideals.
Baji defended his ideals. Ideals that his friends should not be at enmity, because they are his treasure.
Pah-chin, Mitsuya, Draken, Mikey, Kazutora. Toman's founding members are my treasure. I wanted to fix this on my own. But, I just couldn't. I died on my own.
When Emma first came to the Sano household, Baji and Manjiro came up with nicknames for themselves. Baji took the nickname "Edward". Edward is the "guardian of wealth, happiness" (ead means "happy, prosperous", and weard is translated as "guardian").
Headless angel.
An angel without a head, with a childish physique and outstretched arms is the symbol of the Valhalla gang.
Angels and children are most often associated with the pure, innocent and holy. That they beheaded this angel is their mockery of this purity. They show they are capable of “killing” holiness.
And Manjiro acts as an angel. His nickname "Mikey" comes from the name "Michael". Archangel Michael, head of angels and archangels. The name Michael means "one who is like God."
Mikey is an angel who has been beheaded.
The warrior dies and ends up in Walhalla, the angel loses his head. Baji commits seppuku, Mikey goes crazy.
Outstretched arms of an angel. This gesture has several meanings. Maika's vulnerability and openness after Baji's death, as well as Maika's sincerity towards Kazutora.
I can also say that the outstretched arms of the angel refer to Jesus Christ.
Jesus and Judas. Mikey and Kazutora.
We all know about the betrayal of Jesus by Judas, and this analogy can be seen in the relationship between Kazutora and Mikey.
Judas followed Jesus. Kazutora followed Mikey.
Judas sins before Jesus, he sells him. But later he understands the mistake, and atones for guilt through death.
Kazutora kills Mikey's brother and injures Baji (this is somewhat of a betrayal, although not intentional). Then he takes responsibility for staying with Baji's body, and ends up in prison again.
Jesus forgives Judas. Mikey forgives Kazutora.
Judah means: “Praise be to the Lord,” “he praises the Lord.”
Jesus means, "God saves."
Kazutora admires and respects Mikey, even when he wants to kill (according to the character book).
Mikey saving Kazutora from a tough father, from former "friends", from the Black Dragon, from a cruel world. After all, it was when Mikey came to his aid and extended his hand to him that Kazutora slowly opened up to his friends.
I think if Kazutora and Mikey talked in a normal setting, Bloody Halloween wouldn't have happened. This thought always makes me sad, because they love each other. (I'm sure they each blame themselves for Baji's death.)
Outcome.
From the start, Kisaki's goal was to make Mikey more susceptible to his manipulations, and he succeeded. Because of the death of Baji, Mikey "loses his head." This is seen in the Christmas Battle when Mikey starts raving about Baji and Shin. The death of a childhood friend unsettled Mikey, thereby making him as vulnerable as a lost child. However, he forgives Kazutora and tries to be strong for his friends. Kazutora, on the other hand, discards his blind hatred and follows the path of correction.
I admire how Wakui-san intertwines different cultures in his creation.
P.s. In fact, there are more references to Jesus in the form of Mikey. I'm going to write about all the religious (Shinto, Christianity, Buddhism) and cultural references in Tokyo Rengers.

Kazutora's birthday.
At first I thought it was a public bath. Then I realized that this is not so. I'm 99% sure this is the locker room at the Sano family's dojo. For starters, they're the only ones there, maybe it's the dojo's day off. There are scales (logical for athletes). Milk in the fridge is free. The dressing room itself is small for a public bath. Draken sits on the windowsill unashamed of anything, because he knows that no one will look in or see by chance.
It's nice to have a friend with a family dojo.
They are so cute and wonderful.

I don't know why, but this phrase really bothered me. What kind of love must there be for the Black Impulse to appear? After this phrase, I had so many questions. (I even remembered Illumi's love for Killua)
Of course, it can be something innocent and sincere, but the phrase itself is strange.
