5 Times You Flirted With Wednesday And 1 Time She Flirted Back
Pairings: Wednesday Addams x gn!reader / Enid Sinclair x platonic!reader
Summary: what the title says

Word Count: 1.1k

1.
The first time you’d flirted with Wednesday Addams was completely subconsciously, honestly. You walked into your friend’s dorm and froze at the sight of Enid watching with a frown as she took the colour off the window on her side.
“Holy shit.” You mumbled, completely blown away.
Enid turned to you, but you were too enthralled by the mystery in front of you to look away. You tilted your head and admired her jawline and braids. Her fringe were scary, it was so perfect, like she just hopped off the Hairspray set. When she was done, she kicked the translucent vellum paper mindlessly onto Enid’s half. When you looked down, you saw the duct tape line and jumped over to Enid’s side.
“Oh, Dios mío. Cómo puede una persona ser tan perfecta?” You asked aloud and Wednesday turned to you as you blushed.
Her eyebrow was raised slightly as she looked on through her eyelashes. “di algo así otra vez, y perderás la lengua.” Her words were so smooth and calm, you almost forgot that she was threatening you.
You held back a smile at her glare and bounced over to Enid’s bed. The floorboards screeched in pain that went ignored by the people in the room as you sat on the brightly coloured bed. Enid rolled her eyes at the look on your face and sat next to you. She dared you to say what was on your mind.
You shook your head and she nodded, pleased. You began spending more time in Enid’s dorm and less in Yoko’s. And Wednesday was already sick of you by the second week at Nevermore, but you didn’t let that get you down.
2.
The second time you shamelessly flirted with Wednesday was during the Poe Cup. Or after, really. Wednesday had been coerced onto the team by Enid after Bianca poisoned Yoko with Garlic. Your team had won and Wednesday, you, Enid and the fourth person - one of Enid’s other friends - stood on the stairs as Headmistress Weems handed Enid the trophy. The celebration of the Black Cats beating the Sirens (really just anyone beating the sirens for the first time in years) had everyone but Bianca cheering.
Wednesday went back to her dorm and you followed her. When you got there, you leaned on the doorframe. “You should wear the suit more often, Cat-Woman.” You said as Wednesday sat down at her desk.
“Cat-Woman is chaotic good; I’m neutral evil.” Wednesday muttered mindlessly, clicking away on her typewriter.
You shrugged and made your way to her desk. You jumped onto an empty space and began swinging your legs near Wednesday as it took everything within her not to rip you apart. Limb. By. Limb.
You went to pick up a sheet of paper from the desk, but that idea was quickly shot down when Wednesday slapped your hand away. “Touch them again and you’ll lose your hands.”
“Wednesday, all this threatening is making me feel some way.” You shifted on the desk before jumping off and gaining Wednesday attention.
“Where are you going?” She asked.
“My dorm… Unless you want me to stay.” You smirked.
“Don’t flatter yourself, y/n.” Wednesday said emotionlessly, as always. “Enid will want to celebrate with you, so you should probably stay, though.” She then muttered, turning away from you so that you couldn’t see her face.
You shrugged and nodded, walking over to Enid’s bed and just watching Wednesday in a comfortable silence until your friend came.
3.
The next time you were all eating lunch. Wednesday had decided to eat with you for the first time since she’d been at Nevermore. It had only taken her two and a half months. Much to both of your luck, the only free seat by the time she had gotten there was next to you and opposite Enid.
Wednesday didn’t make a sound as she sat down next to you. You opened your mouth, but Wednesday held her hand up, stopped you. “Don’t say a word.”
“Not even if it’s to say how ravishing you look in that jumper?” You asked with a small smirk.
Enid cleared her throat, making you and look away from each other and to the blonde. “What have i told you about flirting with my friends?” Enid scolded you as you dropped your head.
“You told me not to.” You mumbled. “But can you blame me? Look at her.” Wednesday whacked your hand away when you motioned to her.
“Honestly, y/n, go touch some grass.” Yoko called out from the other side of the table, rolling her eyes.
“Te sugiero que cuides tu boca.” Wednesday said.
You smirked. “Eres inexplicablemente caliente cuando estás enojado.”
“Don’t make me regret eating with you.”
4.
The fourth time was also an accident, much like the first time. You were lying on Wednesday’s bed (it was shocking that she hadn’t tried to stab you the moment you crossed over the line, I know), scrolling through your camera roll when a picture you’d taken without her knowledge.
You smiled at it. Nothing could ruin this feeling of serenity. Nothing but Wednesday lying next to you. Actually, no. She didn’t ruin it. She made it better. “You’re so pretty, Wednesday.” The words came out of your mouth before you could stop them and your cheeks warmed up quickly. “I’m sorry.” You said quickly, looking away from her.
“Thank you.” Wednesday murmured, pushing her back against the bed frame. You widened your eyes. “Don’t make me take it back.”
5.
The last time you’d flirted with Wednesday was after she’d defeated Joseph Crackstone. After being all bloody and bruised, you pushed your way through the crowd to look for her. “Enid, where’s Wednesday?” You asked the blonde hurriedly, eyes darting around.
“y/n? What happened?” Enid asked, looking at you, searching for any extensive wounds.
“Most of it’s Tyler.” You whimpered, hugging yourself.
The chittering of the Outcasts suddenly died down and everyone turned to the gate where Wednesday walked out. You sighed in relief before running towards her. In that moment it was just the two of you. She winced as your body collided with hers in a hug and furrowed eyebrows before pushing you away.
“Fancy seeing you here, gorgeous, huh?” You mumbled.
The one time Wednesday flirted back, you got a mere: “You look good covered in blood.” She had joked. The look on her face was still deadpan as she once-overed your body for any lethal wounds. “Are you okay?” You nodded. Wednesday’s lips quivered as she pulled you into a bone-crushing hug.
You sobbed into her shoulder. The thought of nearly losing her to Tyler still fresh in your mind as your own shoulders shook. Wednesday held you tight. Seeing you wolf out to save her and almost get killed by Tyler was the last thing on her mind. Sure, she couldn’t stand physical contact, but having you in her arms was what she had longed for since she first heard the words you muttered on her second day at Nevermore.

Could you do one where the reader is wicth ( powers like scarlet witch) her bff is enid and evetually Wednesday and she dates kent ( the siren they been dateing for 2yrs before Wednesday camw to nevermore
the rave'n, kent -synopsis: you and your boyfriend let enid and wednesday tag along to the rave'n with you -warnings: none, but this is really bad, i'm so sorry
"enid, honey, i'm sure he's just nervous. he really does like you, i'm sure of it!" currently, you, enid, and wednesday were sitting around their room. wednesday was typing away, working on her novel while trying desperately not to lash out at the loud atmosphere. you and enid both sat on the latter's bed talking about the rave'n and your dates.
"well he hasn't asked me and he doesn't appear to be making any effort to soon." enid pouts at the thought of ajax not asking her. she thought she had been obvious in her liking towards the boy, but he just hasn't seemed to pick up on it. "can't you like, mind read him or something? please?"
"enid." you sigh, giving your friend a pointed look. "that's an invasion of privacy."
"but it's an emergency!" enid begs, grabbing your hands with a little squeeze. "please? i'll love you forever."
"you know i don't like doing that to my friends. plus you'll already love me forever." enid sighs at your response, her head falling onto your shoulder as she moves to hug you. you hug back, resting your chin on top of the girl's head as you look across the room at wednesday.
"what about you, wednesday?" you ask, trying to ease enid's disappointment for the moment by redirecting the conversation's focus.
"i'm not going." the girl responds simply, her fingers still rapidly tapping the letters of her typewriter.
"you should though! it'll be fun." enid tries, moving out of your hold to face wednesday also.
"i would rather not bleed out from my ear amongst a crowd of yelling teenagers and horrid music blasting at a volume too loud to be legal." with a small grimace at the response, you turn to face enid who wore a matching expression.
"well, what about you and kent? you're still going together?"
"i would hope so. that would be like, what, two years gone to waste if he went with someone else?" you grin as enid flops backwards onto her bed in exasperation. "oh, come on. you can come with us. or we can find you another date."
"really?" she looks up at you hopefully, excited that she can still go.
"'course. c'mon."
that interaction had happened last week, and it was now the day before the rave'n. you still hadn't gotten yourself anything to wear and enid was a livid, pouting mess. you had dragged the poor girl with you to jericho to help you find something, all while she lectured your ear off about procrastinating something as big and important as this.
"it's not that big of a deal, enid. i could probably show up in normal clothes and no one would care." you huff, swinging the doors to the next shop on your list open.
"well you're not doing that, and now you're stuck with the leftovers of whatever wasn't already picked over." enid scrunches her nose at the lack of clothing in the shop before turning away to browse the racks. with a sigh, you turn in the opposite direction of the blonde, searching through the bare isles.
"what about this?" you ask holding up an obnoxiously bright, poofy, yellow dress. it was a joke, obviously, but enid didn't seem to find humor in the action. with a small glare, she shakes her head and goes around the rack to stand beside you, her arms full of various options, all white to go with the theme. "thanks, e."
"why couldn't you have brought kent instead of me?" enid questions as the two of you walk to the dressing rooms. it wasn't rude, she was simply curious.
"because as much as i love him, he would get distracted too easily. plus, you have a better fashion sense than he does." you shrug. "also, you were the only one available."
"i wonder why that could be." enid frowns as you duck behind the curtain of the changing room to try on the outfits. after multiple changes and re-tries, you settled on the cheapest option. enid frowned at your reasoning, but it did look the best out of all options anyway.
thankfully, enid was much more lighthearted on the trek back to nevermore, eagerly talking you ear off about how she wouldn't sleep that night because she was so excited.
"oh, by the way, i finally convinced wednesday to go!" was the last thing the blonde girl said to you before shutting the door of her dorm, leaving you to walk back down the hallway to your own.
thirty minutes before the dance began, you had rushed to enid and wednesday's room to help them with last minute additions to their looks. you would have gone earlier, but you had been texting kent, devising a plan that would soon be put into action, hence, why you were rushing to your best friends' dorm so quickly.
"you guys about done?" you eyed the two's dresses with a smile as you shut the door behind you.
"unfortunately." wednesday glares down at the dress circling her feet.
"come on, don't be like that. it's only a few hours of your life." enid glances back through the mirror at her friend before continuing to apply her lipstick.
"a few tortuous hours." much to both yours and enid's delight, a knock at the door cut of the brewing argument wednesday was about to spew.
"why don't you get that enid." you say, sitting on the edge of said girl's bed as she sets down her lipstick and goes to open the door.
"ajax?"
"surprise!" kent smiles widely, standing behind ajax who holds out a bouquet of pink, purple, and yellow flowers. both were dressed for the dance and enid looks back to you, wearing a wide grin that put little lines in her freshly applied lipstick.
"i know this is kinda- i mean really late, but, do you wanna maybe go to the dance with me?" ajax shifts nervously on his feet, eyes angled down and his grip firm on the stems of the flowers he held.
"yes!" enid squeals excitedly, gently taking the flowers from the other boy's grasp and turning to set them on her dresser. while you went to greet your boyfriend, wednesday, who had been watching the entire interaction weaved her way between the crown outside the door, muttering to you that she'd meet you at the end of the hall.
the dance went smoothly from there, enid and ajax finally getting to go together. you danced with all your friends and kent until the end of the dance, adrenaline from the night slowly leaving the sweaty bodies of the teens swarming the courtyard to go back to their dorms. enid had gone for a walk with ajax and wednesday had left early, leaving you and kent to walk back to your dorms.
"i'm glad we finally got ajax and enid together." kent tells you, eyes looking up at the sky rather than where he was going, causing him to have almost ran into a pillar, had you not pulled him back in time.
"me too." you laugh as he straightens himself up again and you both continue to walk. "i guess enid was right about reading someone's mind for once. it certainly saved us all the sight of seeing ajax go with who he was planning to since he though enid would've said no to him."
"oh yeah, that would've been the end of the world for sure."

~🕯️
A home in your heart
Pairings: Weems x R (platonic)
Word count: 1.8K
Summary: you get sick and yoko goes to fetch you some help.
TW: flu symptoms, fever, body aches, headache,
A/n this reminds me I need to renew my CPR qualifications lol (I think they expired already).
Waking up feeling awful wasn’t how you wanted to start your day off. Yoko had already left for classes based off the fact her bed was disheveled and empty. Her Pjs were on the floor, and she was nowhere in sight.
Rolling onto your side you heaved a groan at the aching pain in your muscles. There was no way you were making it to classes today. Your nose was running, your muscles aching and your head pounding. You were undeniably sick and defiantly miserable.
Pulling the blanket up over your eyes and wriggling further into the sheets you thanked whatever higher power listening that yoko hadn’t opened the windows today in her rush to leave. You peaked out of the sheets and through your blurry and squinted vision you were able to make out the time on the clock by your bed. Nine thirty, even if you were going to class today you were already running very late. Well, that settled that decision. You wriggled back into your cocoon and tried to fall asleep again.
The pervasive tiredness in your body made it rather easy. In no time at all you were fast asleep again, a thin sheen of sweat starting to form on your skin. Your hair was growing damp, and the sheets were making things worse. Still asleep you managed to flail around enough to toss the bedding to the floor and curl up into a ball. Your fever only worsening. You wanted someone to come save you from it all, but the idea of anyone seeing you like this was awful.
Your friends were great but more than anything you wanted an adult who cared. You missed the mothering you had used to receive at home when sick and now you missed it even more. The acts of kindness amidst the sickness always made you feel loved when you were most vulnerable. You turned over and cried into your pillow, dampening the sobs into the sheets. You were sick, lonely, vulnerable and embarrassed but most of all, you were sad.
When the seat next to yoko in her first two classes remained empty she began to grow more and more worried about her roommate. Sure, you were sleeping when she left but she had assumed you would still get up for classes on time. Looking at the clock again she only had a few minutes left of class and there was no sign of you. She made a decision; she would go to your dorm between classes and see if you were ok. If you were, she would drag you out of bed herself. If you weren’t well… she’d figure it out. She had a test in outcast history after lunch so if you were unwell she would defer your care to a teacher.
The end of class sounded as her classmates packed up and stood, she was quick to follow. Grabbing her stuff and hightailing it out of there she would need to be fast if she wanted to make it to her next class without being late.
She flew up the steps and through the halls until she reached her dorm. Opening the door, she first noticed it was still dark with the windows drawn. Surely you weren’t still asleep… right? Walking over to your bed she pulled off her sunglasses to get a better picture of what was going on. You were curled into a ball shivering slightly.
The young vampire frowned and rolled you onto your back. You were freakishly pale and sweaty. Yoko laid the back of her hand against your d forehead and sucked a breath between her fangs. You were far too hot for a human or just about any outcast. Even with her abnormally cold body temperature, vampire perks i guess, you were far warmer than she had ever felt you to be. Warmer than enid even and she ran at a wolfs temperature which was quite warm.
Yoko checked the clock and looked back at you again before moving to leave when a hand shot out and grabbed her wrist. Turning and looking back at the bed you looked up at her with half lidded eyes and a sad little watery frown that bordered on a pout.
“Stay.” You said in a gravely and hoarse voice.
“Shh babes I’m going to get you some real help.” Yoko said prying your clammy fingers from her wrist and setting your hand back down on the bed with a brief pat.
She whispered some more reassurances and encouraged you to go back to sleep for a bit before your eyes shut again and she slipped out.
Principal weems office wasn’t far and she would surely know who was spare to help. Rounding the corner, she knocked twice on the wood and waited for the invite to enter. Despite whatever corny myths about vampires not being able to enter without permission, she still waited for the invite. Not due to some obscene biological imperative but more because her mother had raised her right and to be polite.
The door opened and principal weems stood with one brow raised as she looked down at the vampire.
“Ms Tanaka what are you doing out of class?” She asked.
“Firstly, i need to know if any of the staff is available for the day, Y/n is sick, and I have a test i can't miss and she needs someone to stay with her. And second i kind of need a note in order to not get yelled at when I go back to class.” Yoko said and adjusted the sunglasses on her face with her thumb.
“Right well come in and i can write you that note. Meanwhile i have some time today off and i assume i can look after her myself. Most of the staff is in classes right now anyway and the nurse went to do refresher course on CPR to keep her qualifications up to date.” Weems said stepping aside and motioning for Yoko to follow.
Weems crossed the office and reached into her draw, pulling out a small purple notepad and pen she quickly wrote a note and tore it off to hand to yoko.
“You best return to class now and i will go check on Ms L/n.” Weems said before grabbing a first aid kit off the shelf in her office and moving to follow yoko outside.
The two said goodbye and yoko headed to class while the principal made haste to get to your dorm.
She knocked twice before deciding to enter. The room was still dark, but she could make out your form on the bed. Coming over she sat beside you and brushed the hair from your face. Your eyes cracked open, and you looked up at her through the haze of your fevered mind, eyes glossy and barely lucid.
“Hello darling.” Larissa said softly. “How are you feeling Y/n?” She asked and you let out a small whine.
“Everything hurts.” You whimpered and weems clicked her tongue and laid the back of her hand against your cheek before moving to feel your forehead.
“You're a bit warm darling. How about we check you for a fever?” She asked softly and moved to get the thermometer from the first aid kit. She pulled out the small stick and turned it on with a beep. She tapped your cheek with her thumb.
“Open.” She instructed and she carefully put it under your tongue, moving and closing your mouth by shutting your jaw with her finger on the underside of your chin.
“Now what else hurts sweetie?” She asked softly.
“My head.” It was hard to talk around the thermometer, but you managed, “And my whole-body aches.” You whispered not trusting your voice to talk normally.
“Alright once we have a temperature back on that thermometer, well get some medicine into you and then it’s time for another nap darling.” She spoke with nothing but care and concern in her tone.
At that moment the sick beeped and she gently took it from your lips and let out a discontent hum of concern.
“A little high sweetheart.” She said looking at the reading. “101.7 isn’t great now, is it?” She asked and you let out a sad hum of agreement and snuggled closer into her side.
The principal was mildly surprised at how affectionate you were being due to your usually stoic and slightly reserved nature. She ruffled your hair softly and smiled down at where you were resting your head on her arm.
“You're really not feeling good are you honey?” She asked and you let out a sad noise of genuine pain. “Alright, alright. Let’s get to work on making you feel a bit better, ok?” She asked and you nodded tersely. “Alright.” She chuckled.
Pulling out two paracetamol which were both fever reducers and pain killers she grabbed the waterbottle from your bedside smiling at the stickers on it. You had a ‘I <3 art’ sticker and a ‘support small artists’ sticker that she found particularly cute along with you own little paintings on the metal bottle. She also took note of the small Marvel stickers of wanda and Natasha.
She screwed off the lid and tenderly guided you by a hand on the back of your head to drink some water before giving you the medicine which you took without debate.
After that she rooted around in the first aid kit and found a stick-on fever patch. She broke it open and activated it before sticking it on your sweaty forehead. You let out a soft discontent mewl which bordered on a whine and larissa shushed you.
“Hush now darling this will help you feel a bit better, ok?” She asked and guided you back into the pillows. You curled up around her, now lying down on your bed properly and out a soft yes.
“Good. Now get some sleep. I’ll be right here doing some work ok?” She asked and thanked the gods she had the foresight to bring her laptop. She might have lied about it being her day off, but her students always came first. The board would just have to wait another day for that annual income, earnings and tax report for the end of financial year. She rested herself up against the headboard of the bed and you curled into her lap resting your head on the expanse of her thigh.
“G’night mama.” You said with a yawn and Larissa’s heart melted. You were so soft and innocent in that moment she never wanted it to end.
“Goodnight darling.” She drawled and stroked a hand through your hair as you fell asleep. Work could wait another few minutes, right now she just wanted to absorb the moment. After all she may never be a mother, but her students were giving her more than enough experience and emotions, that they might as well be her kids. And it was moments like these she remembered why she did it all. For the students who needed a home because they would always find one in her heart.

My Better Bitter Half, Part 6
Chapter 6
Tumblr media
(Y/n) stood in the halls of Nevermore with Enid, who’s trying to be threatening during his interrogation of her.
“So, against my wishes you assisted my sister in attempting to escape Nevermore? Heavily against my wishes?” He says with his arms folded, Enid awkwardly shrugged and tried to laugh it off, but his stern lips and cold eyes quickly froze her warm bubbly smile.
“Well.. she was unhappy here, and if you wanted to leave I’d help you too. She has a right to be happy.” Enid responds and (Y/n) grunts in disappointment. Enid pouts at him, letting her ocean blue eyes slowly melt him down.
“I… I forgive you.” (Y/n) says and Enid smiles again and hugs him, (y/n) was at a loss for words feeling her arms wrap around him, he felt his body instinctively stiffen and his arms began to shake, about to clasp her into a tight hug but, he couldn’t push himself to do so. He simply allowed her to hug him and she lets go.
“Good, I really hate it when you pout.” She said, you sigh and shrug.
“I suppose it can’t be helped, we do have bigger issues on the mend, especially when it comes to Rowan, I can only wonder what the police are going to do.” (Y/n) said, he looks up to Enid staring off in the distance.
“Enid? Enid what has you so preoccupied? It can’t be that—“ (Y/n) looks over to where she is staring and his eyes go wide, he sees, Rowan, alive and Well. It’s almost as if he didn’t get mangled to death last night.
“…I need to find my sister.”
Later in the day, (Y/n) wraps up his fencing class, on top as usual. As he removes his helmet he spots a black cloud looming near him. He puts his gear down as Wednesday approaches, they stop in each others tracks and (Y/n) sees the others speaking.
“I know why you’re here. Come, let’s speak more privately.” (Y/n) says.
In the Backyard of the School, a block of wood was placed on a tree, like a bullseye, but not for darts, a hatchet slams into it, scoring a near bullseye, a throwing knife then landed into it, perfectly.
“Lucky shot.” (Y/n) says as he and Wednesday were throwing them.
“So… you know thay Rowan is alive, correct?” (Y/n) asks.
“Last time we saw him his insides were being torn to shreds.” Wednesday says.
“I know, don’t tell me it’s a case of Folie à deux.” (Y/n) says, “The Madness of Two. Dear sister, it’s possibly we have finally driven each other insane.”
“I doubt it. If I had been driven insane there would be clones of you haunting my dreams.”
“Oh? Well it’s nice to know you think about me.” (Y/n) gives his cheeky responds.
“That’s not what I meant—“
“You love me, just admit it.” He says jokingly and Wednesday glares at him with the knives in her hand.
“I kid I kid, you’re no fun.” (Y/n) says, Wednesday hurls her knife into another bullseye.
“When you took over Rowan’s body…” Wednesday begins and (Y/n) quickly cuts her off.
“I know what you want to know: my powers began about a year ago.”
“When my visions began..” Wednesday said to herself.
“Seems even our powers are intertwined. These visions, are they a grizzly future?” He asks.
“More or less, and your Abilities..”
“They don’t just end at that.” (Y/n) says, and Wednesday looks at him interested.
“Do go on.” She says.
“I may be able to project my spirit, but it’s more than that Wednesday, I can see the dead sometimes, spirits wandering that have some unfinished business in this world…” (Y/n) says, he sees a black cat walk over, and leap on Wednesdays shoulder, but for Wednesday, there’s nothing there on her shoulder. (Y/n) sees the cat and smiles.
“Some people attract death.” (Y/n) says, and turns and throws a hatchet to a bull eyes, breaking Wednesdays knives.
“Rowan was killed that night… whoever I saw and you spoke to.. that cannot be him.” (Y/n) says, and Wednesday actually agrees.
“What do you propose we do? You forbade me from leaving Nevermore.” Wednesdays says sarcastically, as if (Y/n) could hold her.
“You wish to understand why Rowan wants us dead, and why his death is a coverup.” (Y/n) says, and Wednesday is in an agreeable mood.
“We could discover it, but Weems has eyes on me constantly now.” Wednesday says, and (Y/n) thinks, a dark light bulb comes on in his head and he looks at his sister.
“Well. Then we need a good coverup, come.” He says.
(Y/n)‘s POV.
I walked though the small clearing with my sister, slowly heading to a small white building, we stop at the door and I turn to her with a cheeky smirk, she looked at me unamused. I delivered two taps on the door. And it suddenly opened to a slightly smaller boy, ruffled hair and big glasses.
“Are you interested in the ancient art of beekeeping?” The boy asks and introduces himself to her “Eugene, Eugene Ottinger. Founder and president of the Nevermore Hummers.” He said with a handshake.
“Wednesday. Wednesday Addams.” Your sister replies and Eugene finally pieces it together.
“Wow! I knew you had a sister but the likeness is impeccable!” He said, “I get the beautiful genes from mother. Wednesday unfortunately wasn’t so lucky.” You say smirking.
“We look exactly the same—“
“Anyway.” You say cutting her off, “Wednesday, this is your perfect club to join.” You say, she glares at you for a few moments but then turns to Eugene.
“Am I late or is it only you?” Wednesdays said and Eugene sadly nods.
“The hive life isn't for everyone. Most kids are afraid of venomous insects. Are you willing to feel the sting?” He asks, and the most twisted smirk creeps along your sisters face.
“I love it when a plan goes perfectly.” You say, Eugene, please give Wednesday all the information you can, I’m sure she’s going to love it.” You say and lean into your sisters ear “No one would question where you are now, just try and play nice, we’ll figure something out.” You say and leave, planning more ahead.
The next morning, you sat up from your rest, expecting to be electrocuted for some reason, but alas the sweet release of death was not here to claim you yet. Instead you heard the dreary knocking of your sister and knew what she wanted.
3RD PERSON POV.
(Y/n) and Wednesday stood next to each other towards Enid.
“And you want me to cover so that you can return to the scene of a crime that didn't happen?” Enid asks.
“I have beekeeping club this afternoon. I need you as decoy.” Wednesday said.
“But you have a literal perfectly cute decoy next to you.” Enid says.
“You, think I’m cute?” He asks trying not to smile, “Well we used to do that as kids, impersonating each other.” You say.
“Why you stop?” Enid asks.
“I got tired of being asked to perform Shakespeare.” Wednesday said.
“And I got tired of wearing dresses.” (Y/n) said.
“That’s, adorable but Sorry. Two strikes. I'm busy and bees totally creep me out. Why don't you ask Thing? Wait, you can't because he's mad at you.”
“What did you do to thing?” (Y/n) asks annoyed.
“Why's he mad? He's the one who screwed up.” Wednesdays says to (Y/n).
“All I know is that we spent an hour giving each other manis, and he really opened up. He feels like you don't respect him as a person.” Enid says.
“Enid, Thing isn’t a person he’s a hand.” (Y/n) says and Enid gasps.
“(Y/n)! That’s very rude ! He's your family. And he would do anything for you.” Enid says and (Y/n) folds his arms.
“Enid, grow up. And just help us.”
“When Wednesday apologizes and I'll reconsider helping you.” She says. (Y/n) frowns a bit and Enid pouts at him again like a puppy dog, (Y/n) grunts again trying to keep a stern glare, but he again falls to Enids puppy pout and he turns to Wednesday.
“Wednesday you have to apologize.” He says, and she frowns.
“She’s ripped your spine from your back.” Wednesday says and walks over to the bed where thing is reading a magazine. Wednesday sits down next to him.
“I snapped at you. I'll check my tone in the future. Now chop-chop, before all our leads turn cold.” She says, and thing doesn’t move.
“What is it that you want? Hand cream? Nail buffer? New cuticle scissors? Consider it done.” Wednesday says, (Y/n) sighs and walks over to Thing as well.
“Wednesday, bribery will get you nowhere.” He says, and Wednesday sighs.
“I know I'm stubborn, single-minded and obsessive. But those are all traits of great writers.”
“And Serial Killers.” (Y/n) chimes in
“What's your point?” Wednesday says, “you’re a real gem.” You say sarcastically and sit next to thing as well.
“I have nothing to get off my chest, and I am not submitting to your emotional blackmail.” Wednesdays pouts and you just shake your head.
“What Wednesday is trying to, and very poorly convey— is that we do care for you, and we shouldn’t take you for granted, you see Rowan showed Wednesday a picture of twins destroying Nevermore, and it seems we will be responsible for something terrible. Not good terrible, like Ivan. Bad terrible. And we can't let that happen.” You explain.
“That's why I need to find out the truth.” Wednesday said, “I.. I truly want your help.” She says, “See? You can be nice sister.” (Y/n) says:
“Breathe a word of this to anyone and I will end you.” She says to (Y/n).
Finally convinced, Enid dawns the beekeeper shot.
“If Weems comes sniffing around, keep your distance, look grim, and don't say a word.” Wednesday says to Enid who looks more than unhappy.
“If it’s any consolation, you look, pretty dapper in white.” (y/n) says, and Enid smiles.
“Thanks, it Actually means a lot for you to say that.” She says and for a moment, (Y/n) and Enid can only look at each other. But their budding friendship was nothing compared to the rotting flower bud that is Wednesday and Eugene.
“Blab and I will squeeze you like a honeycomb.”
“Snitches get stung. It's hive code. Besides, I should be thanking you. This is the most girls I've ever had in the shed. Other than bees.”
“Shocking.”
“I've always had a thing for werewolf chicks.” Eugene says with a smirk.
“The chance that Enid ever becomes romantically interested in you is less than 1%.”
“So I've still got a shot? Yes!” Eugene says, Wednesday looks very unamused, and turns her attention to (Y/n) it’s time to—“ she stops, seeing the two talk and how he’s been grinning ever since she put on that outfit. Wednesday lacked the social ability to form normal relationships, but she could easily see how her brother-in-law fawning over the werewolf, unfortunately she was too air headed to notice or he was too stubborn to admit it, but she’d rather get the job done first. Wednesday just snaps her fingers, which catches (Y/n) and Enid off guard. They separate and he follows his sister out. Leaving Eugene to spit game on enid.
“In ancient times, honey was used to treat wounds and in sacrificial burial rites. Cleopatra was rumored to bathe in honey. Gave her skin a luminous glow. You ever taken a honey bath?” He smirks.
“I just don't wanna get stung.” Enid admits sadly.
“The key is to remain calm. Bees detect fear, but you don't need to worry. Because I have a very big smoker, and I handle it like a pro. Would you like to see it?” Eugene says, the twins continue to walk though the forest.
“Enid.” Wednesday says and (Y/n) turns to her.
“What about her?” He asks
“I could care less about your romantic inclinations about her, but keep your focus on the investigation and not your pet.”
“She isn’t a pet!”
“Getting defensive are we? You seem very intimated for someone you don’t consider your pet.”
“… I hate you.” (Y/n) looks away and keeps walking as the slightest smirk was on her face.

Enid had dragged you and Wednesday into town one weekend, the both of you really hadn't wanted to go but she gave you those damn puppy dog eyes. You and Wednesday shared a look, sighed and got dragged along the moment Enid realized you weren't going to complain. How did this become your life?
She was really happy to have her two roommates out along with her, she's been DYING to get the both of you to the Weathervane for a hangout. You knew Wednesday had already been, but as for you you're more of a homebody. So you don't leave Nevermore unless you absolutely have to; such as when Wednesday drags you along on her monster hunting adventures. That's really the only time you leave.
When you guys got to the Weathervane, Tyler took your coffee orders and you noticed he put extra care into Wednesday's. Making you raise an eyebrow at your sister, who either didn't notice your look at all or didn't care enough to comment on it. Knowing Wednesday it was probably the latter.
You guys sat and chatted, mostly you and Enid while Wednesday made the occasional one liner.
Though, at one point Wednesday looked directly at you and raised an eyebrow." Y/N. Do you have your rune set on you?" She asked suddenly, you looked at Wednesday and nodded. You never went anywhere without it; you've relied on it in quite a few situations and its always helped you out.
Your trusty black obsidian Norse runes.
"Yeah. Always do, why? Need a reading?" You asked her, taking out the runes from where you kept them in a small black velvet bag in your coat pocket.
Wednesday nodded.
The way you did your readings was the circle method, so you got up and went to ask Tyler for paper from a note pad. He gave you a confused look but handed it to you, along with a pen. You went back to your seat.
Enid was watching with pure curiosity in her eyes, she hasn't seen you do a reading yet and was interested in how it worked.
"What's the pen and paper for? How do you know which rune means what?" She was rambling out a bunch of questions, you could see the annoyance in Wednesday's eyes and you sighed yourself.
"There's a few main ways people cast runes, everyone has their own different style of it. This is just the one I feel connected to." You explain so Enid could understand what you were doing, you were going to just explain how it all worked instead of answering her individual questions; you figured you would probably answer them anyways during your explanation." It's called the circle method."
You took your paper and set it down in front of you, taking a breath and closing your eyes for a few moments. You didn't have a whole lot of time to meditate, so you just did a brief one to clear your mind. You opened your eyes and drew out the circle.
Enid's eyes stayed fixed on what you were doing, Wednesday kept her eyes on you as she watched. She always found your rune readings intriguing and insightful, they've helped her out a few times during this whole monster hunt and she was hoping they could help her again.
You shook your bag of runes, letting them move around for a moment before looking at Wednesday. "What's your question?"
"I need more insight on the monster." She informed you, you nodded.
You weren't sure what all your runes would be able to tell you about it; but you hoped you could pull out enough information to be at least somewhat helpful to Wednesday.
You reached into the bag, taking out five runes that you feel have a connection to the specific question. Taking those five runes you gently tossed them into the circle you've created. Four land around the middle, two touching each other while the other two are more spread out. The finale one landed just outside the circle; meaning this involves some outside force.
You move your gaze to the two runes that were touching, deciding they were the most important to the reading. The first rune that catches your attention is Eihwaz; a symbol of death, transformation, and understanding.
You figure the first two were the most important meanings for this specific reading. "A creature of transformation, causing death. Which we already know." You lean back in your seat and sigh, looking at the next rune that had landed beside Eiwaz. You raise an eyebrow when you see what it was.
Ehwaz; partnership, movement, progress.
Partnership? You looked at Wednesday.
"Someone close to you is the monster." You explain, getting a sinking feeling in your stomach. You scanned the other runes for more information.
Mannaz. Man. Well, that narrowed it down.
"Someone masculine." You continued, giving brief explanations. Your eyes felt drawn to the rune that was just outside your circle. Kaunaz; a symbol of knowledge and fire.
You knew knowledge had something to do with it, you didn't know what but you were sure it didn't mean literal knowledge. The knowledge was a representation of something or someone.
a teacher. cough.
You just couldn't figure out what and before you could think about it anymore, you were pulled from your thoughts by the sound of mocking laughter.
Wednesday's head snapped around and she saw a group of boys, standing not too far from where you three were seated. She glanced at you and then back at them with an intense gaze.
"You really believe in those dumb stones?" One boy said with a laugh, hand on his chest and doubled over from laughing so hard," Ooo! Look at me with my magic stones!"
Your cheeks turned pink with embarrassment and looked away. Using your hand to shield your face from them. You knew your "stones" weren't just a bunch of made up garbage. You'd seen them come true time and time again; but hearing them mock you did make you a little insecure about your beliefs.
"Only a Nevermore freak would believe in such bullshit." Another chimed in.
Enid glanced at them, but kept her focus mainly on you. Giving you a soft smile," I think they're cool, don't listen to what they're saying. Okay?"
You were about to respond, when Wednesday suddenly stood. You quickly looked at her and your eyes widened as you watched her punch one of the boys.
"Wednesday!" You got up and locked your arm with hers, trying to pull her back.
Very. Very reluctantly she lets you.
The guy had stumbled back into one of the tables and was trying to pick a fight with Wednesday now.
"You're not getting away with that!" He yells, you were about to intervene but Tyler beat you to it.
"Woah, woah, alright! Wednesday, can I speak with you?" He looked at Wednesday, you couldn't help rolling your eyes as you let go of her.
She glared at Tyler but went with him while Tyler kicked the boys out of the cafe.
You and Enid shared a look.
~~~
Back at Nevermore, you and Wednesday were in your dorm alone. Enid had gone to hang out with Yoko and her friend group for the night; which the both of you didn't overly mind.
You liked having the space to yourselves.
Wednesday had just finished her daily hour of writing and had turned to look at you. You were seated on your bed, which was located in the middle of the room by the big window. You sat there, meditating and trying to calm your mind from today's events.
"They were wrong." Wednesday says suddenly, you open your one eye and raise an eyebrow at your sister. Was she trying to comfort you?
"Your... runes are quite insightful. You are very skilled with what you do." A compliment from Wednesday was rare, but she was always softer with you. So it wasn't impossible.
You smiled softly, Wednesday's opinion meant more to you than you cared to admit. Even those simple words were enough to ease your insecurities from earlier.
"Thank you." You replied, she nodded her head and stood. Grabbing her cello and taking it outside, clearly ending the conversation.
One compliment must've taken a lot out of her social battery.
Could you do a Wednesday Addams x gn!reader/ yoko tanka x platonic!reader
R is Enid’s younger sister and is very different *she’s blind since birth and is condescendingly treated like a baby by her family because they think she a helpless weakling that need constant supervision 24/7 depsite her being extremely gifted in playing the violin*
The only one she is close to is yoko and Enid as they’re the one ones who let her be a little indenpent. Enid litterally had to negotiate with principal weem that let r come with her to nevermore and yoko see r as a little sister as she is her roommate. Enid introduce Wednesday to her sister and falls hard for r
Her sister and yoko are happy to see r being with someone who love her dearly, but they can’t help but feel a bit overprotective
*however they know they can’t do the shovel talk to Wednesday as both are terrified of her and know she can and will hurt anyone that would lay a hand on r. They would deny nor confirm that they may have had a hand in help Wednesday in torturing those people alongside with thing and them getting into shenanigans whenever r has a date with Wednesday or uncovering a mystery 😂😂😂😂
*idk why but it would be funny if people would refer the three girls and thing as the protection squad or something or. The reason why is because while Enid and yoko are friends and Wednesday barely tolerate them and thing, they form some sort of mutual respect as they form an alliances with each other and making sure nobody messes with r. I could see Wednesday being like her dad as she unkowningly has the urge to protect r from anything that would harm her. she see r as a very beautiful and strong person with a gentle soul. While R can’t see her gf face but she can detect the sincerity in Wednesday voice and appreciate her being sweet to her and is the only one who r will allow to treat her like a baby *she know Wednesday doesn’t do it to be condescending but rather of her family curse. r is the only that Wednesday will allow to call her “Ness” She sometimes lets r be with her when playing her cello even allowing her to do a duet with her violin
I got so lost in this I think I may consider trying to make this into a series 😭…
3rd Person POV
Y/N Sinclair sat on her bed practicing her violin when her sister barged in.
"Y/n! You'll never believe this I'm getting a new roomie!" She squealed.
The younger girl smiled at the thought of her sister having someone to talk to, knowing how lonely she'd get whenever she or her roommate Yoko wouldn't be able to.
She knew how hard it was to be alone. For a werewolf solitude was a death sentence.
"The strength of the wolf comes from the strength of the pack."
Their mother always said this as their father would quietly sit back already preparing to speak to each girl separately.
"Your mother loves you she just doesn't know how to show it."
Her unseeing eyes almost rolled at the thought.
"I'm kind of worried though," her older sisters voice dropped below a whisper as she leaned in. "Rumor has it she killed one of her old school mates by dropping piranha in the swimming pool."
Y/n felt her eyebrows raise at the information before she shook her head.
"Now you of all people know better than to start spreading rumors. Don't you remember when Kent tried getting everyone to think Yoko and I were a thing?" The older Sinclair growled.
That was the tame version of events she'd given you, Kent had actually spread a rumor that you were "up for a good time". She remembered how she had threatened the boys manhood if he or any of his idiot friends even thought about looking your way. Her claws dug into his thigh, mere centimeters away from his favorite appendage as she made sure he knew just how good she'd be on her threat.
She nodded smiling. "You're right I'll wait until she gets here to get the 4-1-1 for my blog."
Y/n laughed at her sisters need for gossip. Of the two, Y/n was far more reserved than her sister.
Since she was born, her family had been...protective of her. A wolf without eye sight to them was by far the worst curse put on anyone, even worse than being sentenced to a life alone. As a child her parents kept her in their sights at all times, the only times she was truly alone and free to do as she pleased were when she'd practice the violin. The music was her only solace, which is why Enid had begged Principal Weems to grant entry for her sister to Nevermore. She knew if left alone with her parents she'd never have any type of privacy or a chance at independence.
While it was true Enid could be overbearing at times she never tried to dictate her sisters choices or influence her actions to benefit her in anyway.
.
.
.
It had been a few days since Enid showed Wednesday around and tried to get to know her. She felt that the girl was far too rough around the edges and may need to relax but she was dedicated to getting her roomie to break her walls down. Especially since she'd grown attached to Thing, who was practically her new bestie.
They were walking to lunch when the two girls caught sight of Yoko holding a lanky boy by his shirt collar against the wall. Her girlfriend Davina trying to calm her down by placing her hand on her shoulder.
The girl hissed fangs bared to the boys neck lightly grazing it with each word she spoke.
"If you even think of doing something to Y/n again I promise I'll forget school rules and make you my personal blood bag, understood?" The boy gulped nodding as he trembled in fear.
"I swear." She let him go grabbing the bag and pushing him as he ran away cowering as he met Enid's gaze.
Wednesday observed in silence as Enid's claws began to elongate, Davina rubbing her girlfriends shoulders and whispering calming words in her ear. Enid had walked up to her almost forgetting Wednesday was with her.
"What happened?" Enid asked. Yoko felt herself grow angry once she caught wind of the fur balls words. She'd overheard the boy laugh about how he'd stolen the blonde girls bag, already going through her wallet as he counted the money left inside. The fang just took a deep breath and handed the bag to the older Sinclair sibling. Enid growled lowly looking back into the direction the boy had gone.
"That's the third time this semester." She gritted out. Yoko nodded irritated.
Her relationship with the younger Sinclair sister was much like the one she held with Enid. The shorter blonde had wormed her way into her heart the minute she introduced herself. She didn't know if it was her aura of pure innocence or the smile that rarely left her face but Yoko found herself bonding with the werewolf quicker than she had expected. Vampire were usually cautious of her kind but Enid and Y/n we're nothing like the other furs. Besides the curse of the full moon, they were more alike than she'd thought.
Yoko knew all about overbearing parents and a need to be your own person. She was expected to run her coven and follow their traditional ways, including marrying a strong young male vampire. They had yet to find out about her girlfriend or the fact that she didn't want to lead.
It irked her to no end how her parents never truly listened to her. And she knew Enid and Y/n were of the select few who understood.
She couldn't fathom how anyone could want to take advantage of the blind girl.
Wednesday watched them both glancing into the direction the boy had gone.
"I don't care for bullies." Yoko and Enid looked to the goth. The vampire smirked as her fangs peeked out a bit, she lowered her glasses looking at Wednesday.
"Rumor has it you put piranha into your last schools swimming pool. The boy lost a testie." She grinned.
Wednesday merely nodded. "It's true I did fail to rid the earth of another brainless jock like Dalton but I doubt he'll make the same mistake twice."
Yoko just nodded smirking, it was nice to know there was at least one more person who wouldn't try to bully Y/n just because they could.
Enid went to take her bag to her sister. She found the girl in her room on her knees hands out trying to feel if she could find her bag on the floor.
"Y/n" the girl called softly. The younger girl shot up quickly.
"Oh hey Enid," she blushed slightly dusting the dirt of her skirt. "I was just looking for my bag."
"Right here pup." She said softly as she handed it to her. "How about we get some lunch?" The younger sister nodded.
The Sinclair Siblings sat at a table that with Yoko, Davina, Wednesday, and Eugene. Most of the group saying hi except Wednesday who kept her attention on the book she was reading.
"Wednesday," Enid called out. "This is my sister Y/N, Y/N this is Wednesday. I'm going to grab our lunches."
The goth went to give you a quick glance before she paused. You looked slightly to the left of her providing a small smile and a wave.
"Enid mentioned you're not big on touching or talking. So I'll keep it short its nice to meet you."
Your soft voice was like a symphony to her ears. Wednesday continued to stare as Enid returned sitting next to you. She looked to her roommate fully prepared to try and negotiate that she please, please be nice when she noticed something different in the pigtailed girls usually dull gaze. It looked to be...intrigue?
"Nice to meet you as well bellisima." Wednesdays eyes widened as she stood abruptly leaving without another word.
Yoko's eyes narrowed as she looked to see you blushing.
"Doesn't that mean beautiful?" Your bestfriend asked.
You shrugged paying extra close attention to your meal as Enid felt her jaw drop. You knew exactly what it meant and something about the way the word rolled off her tongue made you feel warm inside.
Did Wednesday just flirt?
Wednesday slammed the door to her room startling Thing.
"Something is wrong with me."
Thing signed frantically as Wednesday continued to shake her head at every guess he had.
"Worse." She paused. "I'm becoming my father."
.
.
.
It was late and you knew you probably shouldn't be practicing your violin but there was someone playing cello and you felt compelled to play with whoever was on the other side of campus. You went out to your balcony careful to not wake Yoko she could sleep through anything but if she were to hear you moving she'd immediately wake up to make sure you wouldn't hurt your self.
The piece began simple enough but as the cellist continued they began to increase the tempo. Half of campus shaken from the slumber at the sound of a concert hall echoing throughout. Enid smiled slightly at your playing for once not annoyed with Wednesdays late night session.
The two of you continued for a while before Wednesday had finished. She climbed back in turning to Enid.
"Who else at this God awful school may actually have acceptable music taste?" The werewolf smirked internally still fearful that her roommate would skin her alive if she did so externally. Wednesday saw a slight smug glint in her roommates eyes knowing she'd most likely hate her answer.
"Y/n." The raven held back a groan, it seemed there was even more to you that intrigued her.
As if looks weren't enough.
Enid watched her roommate quietly go to her bed, glancing to Thing who sat smugly on her desk fingers kicking like a child on a swing.
.
.
.
"Hello Y/n." Wednesday spoke softly as she went to sit next to you in Botany. You smiled in her direction.
"Hey Wednesday, I didn't know we were switching partners?"
The gloomy girl glanced over to Ajax who couldn't meet her gaze. Yoko laughing silently behind her hand as she had watched Wednesday threaten to feed him to her menagerie of pets if he didn't switch seats with her. Enid glanced amused and irritated at the scowl Xavier wore because Wednesday had chosen to sit next to you instead.
Both Yoko and Enid continued to watch Wednesday closely as she spoke to you. Both surprised when she managed to get you to laugh. Since she lived with her, only Enid could detect the microscopic changes in expression as she looked to her younger sister. Her eyes softened ever so slightly and the corner of her lips were quirked up as you'd responded to whatever she'd asked you.
Class began and the two were forced to pay attention to the lesson before them.
Wednesday couldn't help but stare at you as you listened intently to what the teacher was saying. In most cases people would type their notes but you felt the noise may disturb others so you would record the lectures and later go over the notes in your room.
The goth couldn't help but admire you. Personally, she wouldn't care if they found it to be a nuisance, yet she found it endearing that you would. It made you seem that much stronger, not letting such trivial things hinder you.
As class finished she found herself helping you by taking your books and leading you to your next class. You quietly thanked her as she did so, as you went to sit down someone's foot shot out to trip you.
Wednesday caught you by the waist standing you upright before turning to the culprit. Her eyes narrowed to see one of the Gorgon boys laughing with his friend. He looked back and froze at the sight of Wednesday's glare.
"Thanks again Wednesday." The girl immediately softened at the young werewolf's voice.
"I'll be back after class mi vida."
Wednesday sat in her next class writing a note to Thing who began to crawl his way to the boys dorms.
He placed mirrors in the boys locker-room showers before he made his way back to Wednesday.
When class ended Wednesday was already making her way in to help you.
Enid and Yoko were outside expecting to help you but froze at the sight of Wednesday walking beside you and directing you to your next class.
The two glancing at each other unable to determine if they should be happy with your newest friendship or terrified at Wednesdays unpredictability.
.
.
.
Enid babbled on about her beloved Poe Cup to Thing as Wednesday began her hour of writing.
Yoko came into the room hastily.
"Enid," she glanced to see Wednesday glaring at her as she paused her typing.
Oh shit.
The fang gulped as Wednesdays typing resumed. Enid looked to Yoko.
"Did you hear?" The werewolf just shook her head.
"That kid Josh and his friends were trapped in the locker room for hours. Someone put mirrors in there." Wednesdays typing faltered for a brief second but both girls noticed as Thing moved around "innocently".
Enid watched him as Yoko looked to see a small smirk on the ravens face.
Enid walked closer to Thing knowing if she'd ask Wednesday she'd probably make her into a nice rug.
"You wouldn't happen to know about this would you?" The hand shrugged as he continued flipping the pages of a magazine he'd gotten from the werewolf's drawer.
Wednesday knowing his will was weak glared before Yoko began coughing. The girl doubled over in pain as Enid rushed to the girls aid more people flooding in once they called for help.
Wednesday grabbed Thing as they made their escape.
"I need you to check Rowan's room while I go to the library."
The hand scurried to find more clues as a soft clicking caught the dark haired girls attention. Her usual glare softening as she found Y/N slowly making her way downstairs. She rushed to her side making sure she'd let the girl know of her presence.
"It doesn't seem safe for you to be wandering alone, querida." The girls head snapped up recognizing the voice right away. It was in her thoughts a lot lately and gave her butterflies every time she thought about the person behind it. She blushed as she felt a cool hand offer help slowly getting her down the steps one at a time.
"Thank you Wednesday, you always seem to be there whenever I need help." You couldn't see it but you felt her dark eyes on you as you both reached the last step.
"And I will continue to do so, for as long as you shall let me."
Wednesday wanted to bite her own tongue off as she had realized what she'd said. Obviously the filter between her mouth and mind was incompetent once you were in the vicinity.
She hated how soft her voice became when she spoke to you.
And how she felt this overwhelming need to protect you.
Or how-
"Thank you." She felt herself sag in defeat. You were too nice and for some reason it was her kryptonite.
"Why are you out so late?" The girl then started to shake.
"I think someone tried to hurt Yoko I smelled garlic in our room, but she’s deathly allergic and I would never eat it." Wednesdays eyebrows shot up.
That explains the coughing.
"I think it was Bianca," Wednesday found herself intrigued.
"Why?"
"The Poe Cups tomorrow." The goth nodded. Yes the competition that her roommate had yet to shut up about.
"Oh no." The girl gasped in realization making Wednesday step closer as if to protect her.
"What's wrong?"
"Yoko was on Enid's team and the cups tomorrow she doesn't have enough people." She watched the younger Sinclair sibling take a deep breath steeling herself. "Wednesday can you help me back to my room so I can get ready for tomorrow?"
The goth shook her head as Thing ran up to them holding a mask, stopping short when he saw Wednesdays hand begin to raise to the other girls cheek.
She felt her eyes rolling at what she was about to do next.
"I will help you back to your room," the girl went to turn, but a hand on her cheek stopped her short as her face was turned to Wednesday. "But I will be the one to replace Yoko at the Poe cup not you."
The werewolf's eyebrows shot up in surprise.
According to her sister, Wednesday wouldn't waste time on something as childish as games nor would she willingly help others. However the girl in front of you touching you so gently as if you were glass about to break made you think something else entirely.
"Wednesday," you breathed out. She leaned closer you could feel her just a breath away from you as your hands slowly began to lift up.
"Can I-"
Thing crawled up to Wednesdays shoulder abruptly making her glare at him. He pointed to the stairwell where Bianca and Xavier were walking down still yet to see either of you. She grabbed you, covering your mouth and hiding you behind a pillar.
"Wednesday Addams thinks she's better than everyone else and I can't wait to make her and her little werewolf roommate cry after we win the Poe Cup tomorrow." You growled behind Wednesdays hand as the two went to their rooms.
When the coast was clear Wednesday had let go of you seeing you breathe heavy as your claws began to elongate. You felt tears well up in your eyes as you realized you couldn't help Enid as much as you wanted to.
"Wednesday promise me you'll make sure Enid wins tomorrow." She grabbed your hand placing a kiss on the back of it.
"Anything for you, mi corazon.”
Failed relationship (epilogue)
(past Wednesday Addams x fem! reader ; Enid Sinclair x fem! reader (platonic))
Tumblr media
Summary: just the epilogue of Failed relationship because life gave me new content Warnings: no happy end, Enid x reader (platonic) (English isn't my first language, I'm sorry if there are mistakes or if something doesn't make sense TvT)
You didn’t think you would talk to her ever again, but here you were, still not over her, so many questions in your mind. Yes, you already asked for an explanation when you broke up. But there were still things you didn’t understand.
Why would she ask you to be her girlfriend if she didn’t love you? How could she say ‘I love you’ for four months without meaning it?
You were still upset about what happened. A part of yourself was mad at her, but the other was more pragmatic; if she didn’t live you there was no point in continuing, right? And who were you to try to hold her back if she wasn’t happy?
You felt bad sending her a text months after you broke up, but you had to do it for your own good.
You tried to say it in a way that was not aggressive or mean; you wouldn’t want to make her feel bad or something. So you simply asked why she asked you out if she didn’t have feeling for you.
Her answer was… not what you expected:
It is not exactly that I did not have feelings for you, rather that I only was attracted to you for your person. To say it shortly, I can be attracted to someone for their personality, and then there’s a possibility that my feelings might evolve into something more than friendship. As for our situation, my feelings didn’t evolve in such a way. Perhaps I was not totally fair with you. If I were, I would have told you that I only wanted more dates to see where it was going. And I did not do that because you told me about past traumas caused by exes, and I did not want to hurt you. For that I apologize. Perhaps if I had got to know more about you, it would have worked.
There was a few sentences that you had trouble understanding, and you couldn’t help but think she was kind of blaming it on you, for the traumas part. The last sentence did not help.
You didn’t know what to think about her answer.
You decided to do what every saine person would do, and sent the screenshots to your best friend, asking for her opinion.
She was as lost as you on some parts.
You sighed, and turned off your phone, tired of this. It was more than time to stop thinking about her and move on.
<><><><> ♡ <><><><>
A month after that, you had meet Enid Sinclair. You had seen her around quite frequently, but never really had the courage to talk to her. You wanted to, multiple times, but each time ended up getting scared.
You didn’t even understand why you were scared, she seemed so nice…
But one day, you decided it was stupid being scared, and talked to her. Immediately, you knew you wouldn’t regret it.
And almost a month later, you were more sure than ever that you wouldn’t regret it.
Enid had become one of your favorite people, even in that short amount of time. She was so nice, so sweet, so easy to talk to.
You felt comfortable around her, not judged, and truly enjoyed her company. She brightened your days.
She had almost adopted one of your stuffed animals, Rise, and her evil self, Fall. To be fair, Rise had never been one of your favorite stuffed animals. But since Enid seemed to like her a lot, now you took her with you more often.
You had taken the habit of taking pictures or screenshots whenever you came across her favorite number and sent it to her.
You had some more inside jokes, but it would be too long to talk about them all.
You were so glad you had a friend like her, even if her taste in food was questionable. You knew you could trust her and talk to her about anything, and you hope she knew she could too.
If there was one thing you learned thanks to her, it was that love wasn’t everything: good friends were as important -if not more- than a lover.
Pairings: Wednesday Addams x platonic!reader / Enid Sinclair x platonic reader / Larissa Weems x platonic!reader
Summary: 7 reasons to go, 3 reasons to stay
Warnings: suicide, suicidal thoughts, vent fic I guess, so uh, like bcos I need validation 🫶 pure, unfiltered, angst. (Part two here) (Tagging: @lxtins @allisonsblog @wednesday-l0ver @capryuk @smolgayhooman @elduster because they said they’d read it x)
Word Count: 1.1k
Tumblr media
Seven reasons to go, three reasons to stay. It honestly seems like such an easy answer, but if you add a zero onto the end of both numbers it becomes harder. Seventy reasons to go, thirty reasons to stay. You sat atop of this hill, resting your back against the oak tree. Weighing the reasons in your head made the pit in your stomach grow, but it needs to be soon.
1. You have no family.
In a fit of blind rage at eight, you set your house ablaze. The fire started in your parents bedroom where you, your mother and father and your little brother were. Larissa Weems, a family friend, was quick to aid you. She brought you to Nevermore and raised you like her own. It was abnormal for normie families to have Outcast children, but that just meant the Outcast gene laid dormant for a few generations. You didn’t speak to anyone for seven years after the incident.
Though Larissa was the closest thing you had to a family, she wasn’t your family and the kids at school liked to remind you of that.
2. The overwhelming anger.
Your nostrils flared as you watched the boy, whose name you never bothered to learn, called you an orphan for the umpteenth time that day. You clenched your fists, digging your nails into your palm until you felt blood rolling down. Pain makes you human, Larissa had said to you. Why wasn’t it working? A wolf pushed you and you struck him with flame covered fist. Your hand was burned onto his face and he hand to live in humiliation with that scar for the rest of his life.
The kids around you immediately dissipated and ran away from you. Then your roommate asked to switch dorms
3. People would finally care.
They don’t care until it’s too late. You knew this now, throwing the noose end of the rope over the highest branch that you could reach. You couldn’t even cry. Why would cry? Crying for the people that never even batted an eyelash at you. For he people that saw your pain and laughed in your face, dancing on what was left of your happiness, hoping to ruin it all for you. You can imagine the people that pushed you to this crying in each other’s arms as your body was lowered into the ground. Who do they think they are?
4. You hurt everyone you touched.
Larissa had pulled you into a hug when you came to her office sobbing. You were hesitant to accept it, but you did in the end. You remember her scream and push you away. It haunted your nightmares every. Single. Night. You looked down at your hands and your eyes widened at the melted fabric on your palms. She told you that it was all right and that she was just shocked, but you didn’t believe her.
You began using weird techniques you’d read about in books from the library; sitting in the kitchen’s walk in freezer for as long as you could, taking ice baths, letting your anger out in a controlled environment.
5. The dreams.
Waking up drenched in sweat and covered in a crisp duvet was not your forte. In fact, waking up wasn’t your forte. Your family coming back from the dead to berate you, blame you. They wanted to kill you back. Your brother showing you what could’ve been, what would’ve been, what should’ve been him. A dashing you man, your mother had said before casting her eyes over you in disgust. You wanted to apologise, but that didn’t deserve it. They should have to beg you for forgiveness. The world should have to beg you for your forgiveness. And it would have if you really wanted it to. You had the power to burn the world to ash.
6. You’d stop being a burden.
Larissa Weems already had a whole school of children to deal with. And, though she didn’t say it, you knew having you in her office for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was bothering her. You didn’t want to admit it, but you grew to like her presence, so instead of staying cooped up in your room, you stayed cooped up in her office. You’d get short, curt answers when asking something and you took that as a hint.
7. Eternal peace.
You’d be free from all your suffering. You’d be dead, you’d be gone. There’s no analogy for this reason. It’s just a fact. You wanted to be gone, that’s all.
But now the reasons to stay.
1. Your Larissa.
She really was your family. The reason you were still alive right now, but it was proving not to be enough. You just hoped that she didn’t blame herself for this. She had saved you and protected you for as long as she could, but now it was down to you. You had to make a decision and it led to you tightening the rope around the trunk of the tree.
2. The people that liked your company.
You had met Enid Sinclair in your fourth year of solitude since you’d come to Nevermore. She walk talkative and it was nice for the both of you. She liked having someone that listened to her ranting and you liked listening to someone talk to you without belittling your feelings. Then you met Wednesday on your 16th birthday, three years later. She was Enid’s roommate and you were scared that Wednesday was going to take her away from you. But that’s not what happened. Soon in days where you waited for Enid in her dormitory, you found yourself enjoying the silence between you. It wasn’t that Enid’s rambling was annoying, but silence was nice every once in a while. Lastly, you met Eugene. He reminded you of your little brother, predominantly the good parts of him. He was a perfect mix of Wednesday and Enid. You loved hearing about his bees and how his mom’s were doing. You adored reading books with him in the library. He helped you get over your fear of yourself.
3. Life.
Sure, you hated life. But there were fun times like when you were five, on your father’s shoulders as he ran through the forest by Nevermore. Or on your fifteen birthday when Enid and Larissa threw you a surprise party in your dorm where’re the three of you danced the night away. Not to mention when you made Eugene laugh. A smile graced your face the whole day after hearing him cackle at a note you gifted to him. Even if it go you kicked out from the library.
It was moments like that that you craved.
But you didn’t get much more because here you were, standing on a stool as you put your head through the noose. Just as you strained to kick the stool away, you heard a scream.
“No!” They said, but it was too late.
Wednesday was too late.
2% - Song fic
Ajax Petropolus x reader
Tumblr media
You and Ajax were complete opposites. No one understood how you worked as a couple and no one expected you to last very long. Both of your families said you would break up before the end of the school year. It annoyed both of you. You loved Ajax, so what if you were complete opposites, that's what made you work. Ajax had low grades, was mostly oblivious to anything going on in the world and everyone knew he was a stoner, in all contexts. You were a straight A student, you could play just about any instrument and you never smoked a day in your life. But you worked, fitting together like puzzle pieces.
One day, you, Ajax, Enid, Xavier and Wednesday were sat at lunch, a common topic between your friends was your and Ajax's relationship.
"So what did your mum say this time?" Enid asked you, biting into her steak sandwich.
"Well, she said we're just crazy kids who can't know what love is until we graduate."
"That's ridiculous!" Enid exclaimed.
"I agree" Said Wednesday, this took everyone by surprise as she never comments on this topic, "My parents started being annoyingly in love at nevermore, why can't you?"
"Ajax, didn't you speak to your mum recently? What'd she say about Y/N?" Xavier said, curious.
"The usual, 'Why can't you see this is just a silly teenage fling that will be over in two months' bullshit." Ajax replied, annoyed.
...
Every friday night your little gang would meet up in Xavier's shed to hang out and unwind from the week. Normally Ajax would meet you at your dorm, but when he knocked on your door Yoko answered.
"Hey Ajax, if you're looking for Y/N she already left like an hour ago."
"But I always meet her here at 7. Where'd she go?"
"No clue, to be honest, I thought she was already with you."
"Well thanks, I'll just call everyone else and see if they've seen her."
"'Kay, bye." Yoko said as she closed the door.
"Bye" Ajax said as he was texting Xavier to see if he's seen you.
When no one said they'd seen you everyone went searching. They were walking through the corridors when they could here a piano and soft singing.
Everyone thinks that we won't make it far
Let's blow their minds
How old do you have to be to say you're in love?
10, 15, 20, 21?
"Guys!" Enid whisper-shouted, beckoning everyone over to the music room where you were sat singing.
The world seems to have their doubts about us
But I don't understand how they get a say
'Cause they don't even know us
Everyone stood in silence listening, admiring, your voice.
This is for the young ones in love
Not going by the rule of thumb
The hatred for sacred, who cares about what others want?
For you 'cause they don't have a clue
Of the extent that teenagers go to
At least make an attempt
I'll take a chance of 2%
Ajax could swear that he fell in love all over again just hearing what you had written about your relationship, showing how much love you held for him and how confident you were in your relationship surviving, despite what others say.
Everyone thinks that we're just crazy kids
Let's prove them wrong
How old do you think we'll be when we look back and laugh?
36, 52, 81?
Ajax knew right then and there that, no matter the comments your relationship brought, he was gonna marry you.
The world seems to have their doubts about us
But I don't understand how they get a say
'Cause they don't even know us
This is for the young ones in love
Not going by the rule of thumb
The hatred for sacred, who cares about what others want?
For you 'cause they don't have a clue
Of the extent that teenagers go to
At least make an attempt
I'll take a chance of 2%
Everyone else switched between watching you and watching Ajax. They didn't need to be mind readers to know what was going one in his head. He was lost in the music being created by the woman he loves, and they all knew that.
We were meant to be, it's written in the pages
Here comes the third degree
They're mad we haven't graduated
You're holding on to me
And I know you won't let go
When those words left your mouth everyone knew, no matter what, you and Ajax would stick together and face the world with each other.
This is for the young ones in love
Not going by the rule of thumb
The hatred for sacred, who cares about what others want?
For you 'cause they don't have a clue
Of the extent that teenagers go to
At least make an attempt
We are the young ones in love
Not going by the rule of thumb
The hatred for sacred, who cares about what others want?
For you 'cause they don't have a clue
Of the extent that teenagers go to
At least make an attempt
I'll take a chance of 2%
2%
This is for the young ones, for the young ones, yeah
Oh, I'll take a chance of 2%
When you stopped singing everyone started clapping, even Wednesday. It startled you but when you saw who it was the biggest smile appeared on your face. Ajax started walking over to you and he was all you could focus on.
"That was beautiful." He said, mesmerised.
"You weren't suppose to hear it." You said shyly.
"Do you really think we're gonna be together forever?"
"We're gonna be together longer the forever." You said as you stood from the piano.
Ajax placed his hands on your waist as yours wrapped around his neck.
"I love you." He said, staring into your eyes making you feel so happy to have found your soulmate so young.
"I love you too." Then he lent in, kissing you. The kiss was filled with so much love and passion, you didn't want it to end. That kiss reassured you that you would be with Ajax forever, even if your families didn't understand the love you had for each other. You don't need them to understand. It's your life, your relationship, you know what you feel, that's all you need.
Desperate to Decompress
Pairings: Weems x Reader (Platonic)
Word count: 2.6K
Summary: Reader needs some time for herself to gather her thoughts and hides herself away. When Ms Thornhill notices your absence she reports to Weems, who goes to investigate.
TW: depictions of neurodivergence (implied), overstimulation (implied), hiding, crying, disappearing, crying, flinching (is that a warning idk),
A/n Ok so before i get attacked for this, this is a self-indulgent fic because i often hide myself away when i feel like this (I have ADHD) so this is based off my experiences. Neurodivergance presents slightly differently for everyone. Im not saying this is the only way it can be, just this is how it is for me. Enjoy :)
It had been simply too long since you had had enough time by yourself to decompress. You loved Enid and Wednesday; they were mostly the best roommates you could ask for but sometimes you really just needed a break. Silence and a place with no people.
It felt as if you had been slowly had your brain being scrubbed with each social interaction, any more of it and you would snap. It had happened before; people were just too present and loud and the more you tried to keep going the more the annoyance grew. It wasn’t personal, it was simply you had enough of it all.
You simply needed space and time to decompress, but with a shared dorm and a school full of teenagers there weren’t really any places to hide away from everything. You just needed somewhere silent, devoid of people and preferable hidden where you could sit with your headphones in listening to whatever song you had been playing on repeat for the past few days and your sketchbook in your lap. A snack to eat and some juice maybe. The introvert in you was screaming for help and you knew if you stayed around people any longer your social battery was just about dead. And when it died so did all of yourself control, all of the annoyance and repressed anger would come out and nobody wanted that, not even you.
Class was dismissed and it was time for the fifth lesson of the day. Your head was feeling slightly buzzed and you knew you needed it all to stop as soon as humanly possible. So, whilst walking between classes you slipped into your dorm under the guise of retrieving your biology textbook for botany class which was starting soon. Once the hallways had drained of teenagers as they all funnelled into classrooms in small streams, you hoisted your backpack over one shoulder and snuck through the halls.
You found it never worked the way you needed it to if you told people where you were going, that way it felt like there was still something expected of you. No. You never told anyone where you went or when you left on trips like these and that wasn’t going to change now you were at nevermore. You needed to know you weren’t going to be bothered by someone. Complete isolation or complete meltdown. That’s the options.
As you finally made it to where you wanted to be you clicked twice and descended into the nightshades library. A few days ago, you had been expecting the impending need for a shutdown and hidden a small blanket, snacks and a lamp behind some of the books. Now it came time to use them you pulled out the supplies.
Gently you set out the blanket like one might have a picnic, the soft touch soothing and relaxing. You set down your backpack and kicked off your shoes. Popping in an earbud in each ear you pressed play and took out your pencils and sketchbook. The sigh you heaved was involuntary as the stress began to melt. It felt like a weight had been lifted off your shoulders and you felt the annoyance that had been growing over the past days begin to trickle away.
You threw yourself into your drawing needing something mindless but engaging to do. You sketched scenes that were stuck in your mind's eye from the past few days of the term. Enid’s colourfully painted nails. Wednesday's typewriter. You drew and sketched and felt your mind begging to unwind and detangle all of the twisted emotions from the days.
Meanwhile Ms Thornhill glared at your empty seat in her class.
“Ms Sinclair, do you happen to know where Ms L/n is thats more important than my class?” She asked a slight edge on her voice.
It wasn’t annoyance at you as much as the fact her favourite student was absent, and the school board had cut her budget once more deeming the carnivorous plants a non-essential item and a point of risk for students.
“Umm I’m not sure?” Enid said looking slightly confused. “She was with me in out last class.” She said. The botany teacher huffed in annoyance.
“Open your textbooks to page 348 and start taking notes on the phenotype selection of white budded roses.” She said and the sound of textbooks being haul from bags began. “Until i return i expect no funny business. One more broken pot and the whole class has detention next Thursday.” She said and stalked off to the principal's office.
Now she was out of the classes eyesight she quickened her pace. Her anger faded to worry. It was unlike you to simply disappear. Sure, you had only been at nevermore for a few weeks now, but the risk of you being lost or injured was never none. Standing in-front of the big wooden doors she shifted her weight from foot to foot and before she could knock the doors opened.
“Marilyn.” Principle weems said in surprise before she collected herself and stepped to the side. “Come in. What can i help you with.” She asked and the two women walked over to the couch. Weems patted the spot beside her, and Ms Thornhill perched herself next to the shapeshifter.
“I’ll make this brief as i have a class left in the biology classroom.” She began and Weems nodded. “It's Y/n.” She began before sighing.
“Whats the matter with her?” Weems asked placing a hand on her teacher's knee.
“She hasn’t shown up for the class and its unlike her to simply disappear without telling people where she went. Im worried Larissa. What if she’s lost or worse yet injured?” She said and weems patted her leg.
“Never you worry. I will find her and make sure she is dealt with straight away. If that’s all i recommend getting back to your class before all your flowers have been deadheaded.” Weems smiled.
“Yes. That’s probably best isn’t it.” Ms Thornhill agreed and nodded standing and shooting her thanks to the principle before exiting.
Now the teacher was gone weems stood and collected the keys from her desk and left her office. She began at your dorm. Knowing which one it was as she had visited many times to see Wednesday and reprimand her for her repeated behaviours. You had been there for some of it but never really said much other than things like ‘I’ll get out of your hair’ before leaving.
It's not that Weems disliked you or any of her students really, she was just very busy and was now realising maybe she should have payed some closer attention to you. This was your first boarding school and your file had stated you were … different. Incredibly smart and well put together but it did say you were sometimes prone to randomly disappearing. Weems suspected this would happen sooner or later although she hadn’t the faintest as to why you did what you did. Maybe she should have given more of her time to making sure you had adjusted and settled in alright.
She frowned looking into the empty dorm. Noting the backpack, she often saw you with was also gone along with one of the two blankets from your bed.
She scanned the room once more before turning and leaving to search elsewhere for you.
Time didn’t really matter to you when you were like this. You simply stayed wherever until you no longer felt the overwhelmingness of it all anymore. You couldn’t let others see you like this. Vulnerable. You were most vulnerable like this. You simply needed space. You had no clue how much time had passed, and the sketchbook’s pages were slowly being filled with intricate portraits and landscapes from the past few days.
After a while you had resorted to the photos on your phone for reference. You hummed quietly to the music which was probably why you didn’t hear the sound of high heels on the steps until they were in front of you.
Looking up you saw the unimpressed face of Principle weems looking down at you with her arms folder. Using a finger, she flicked the chord of your wired headphones to dislodge one of the earbuds. You flinched slightly at the movement so close to your face and the feeling of everything crushing you almost seemed to return. She had found you. She had found you before you had the time to find yourself. You could feel the tears begging to escape. You were exhausted emotionally and couldn’t take one more trial of your mentality.
You hadn’t really noticed weems lecturing you until she grabbed your bicep loosely to haul you up. You flinched violently this time, the touch almost seeming to burn. Weems demeanour switched almost immediately as she came to an understanding. She put her hands up in surrender and crouched in front of you, an impressive feat for someone in heels. You saw her lips moving but the sound still didn’t seem to be reaching your ears, or more rather, your brain.
After moment weems simply sat and folded her legs pretzel style and lent against the wall next to you. She had stopped talking seeing how it hadn’t really reached you at all.
She seemed to be taking a note from your book and simply resting. She laid her head against the cool stone and shut her eyes slightly. You two of you sat in silence for a bit as you twirled you pencil anxiously. After a minute you realised the tears on your cheeks were present and you brought up a fist and began to harshly scrub at your eyes. A soft hand caught your arm and this time the touch didn’t seem to burn as much. Weems guided your hands to her lap as she held them and ran the pad of her thumb over the back of your knuckles gently.
“Darling are you ready to talk?” She asked and when you didn’t respond she softened. “It's ok if you're not-“
“Im fine.” You said and pulled your hands from her grip. “I should probably head to class anyway.” You said and began putting your stuff in your backpack. You felt a hand in your shoulder and stilled.
“Darling, I’m not expecting you to do that right now. Your clearly in need of a break. How about instead of sitting down here in the dark and the cold you come join me in my office. I can make us some hot chocolates and we can talk or just sit in silence, whatever you need love.” She said you felt the tears gather once more on your waterline. Weems brushed a gentle thumb over your cheeks and wiped away the tears.
“Oh darling.” She said softly and opened her arms for a hug. You shuffled into her lap and she wrapped her arms around you holding you tightly. The pressure helped and she seemed to notice.
“If you would like i can order you a weighted blanket for when I’m not available.” She said softly and smiled at the nod she felt against her chest.
“Yes please.” You said in a small voice.
“Alright.” She whispered into your hair and pressed a soft kiss to the crown of your head. “Let’s go get some hot chocolate when you're ready.” She said and you began to pull away. She held you closer. “That doesn’t have to be now if thats not what you need.” She said and you nodded again into the lapels of her blazer.
“Now darling. If you ever feel like this i want, you to come to me and we can sort something out for you. However, i must thank you for the exercise, being stuck behind a desk most days usually prevents me from a half hour fanatic search of the school grounds and she gently laud her chin on the top of your head as she felt you laugh slightly into her chest.
“I think I’m ready for that hot chocolate now.” You said softly. “If thats ok.” You added and she slowly unwrapped her arms from you.
“Anytime darling.” She said and helped you to your feet beating you to your backpack and putting it over her shoulder.
“I’d love to see your art sometime if you're ok with that. I love seeing my students' talents shine.” She said and you smiled softly and gently wiped your face to try and look less like you had been crying.
Weems wrapped your hand in hers and led you the short distance to her office. Once inside she set down your bag by the couch and told you to make yourself at home before disappearing into her private quarters and returned a minute later with two steaming mugs of her famous hot chocolate.
You sat in silence sipping the drinks before you set yours down and got ready to speak. The principle followed suit and placed down her own mug and dusted off invisible lint from her lap.
“It just … it all just gets too much sometimes. And i know i should tell someone but i feel like i just need to get out. Like one more second and I’ll snap.” You began and slowly all of the pent-up stress began to pour out into your words. Principle weems sat and listened wordlessly before you finally finished her hands where on your knees.
“I think it’s perfectly alright to be overwhelmed sometimes. And i have an idea. I find i myself often get trapped in my work and negate to listen to what i need. What I propose is…” she said pausing and folding her hands in her lap. “Anytime, and i mean anytime, day or night, you feel like this… you come find me and we take a break together.” She said and you smiled softly. “Do you think you can do that? Hmm save me from my work darling?” She asked with a small smile, and you nodded.
“I guess.” You said playing with your fingers.
“Good.” She nodded and you felt yourself relax further. “Now I’d like you to stay with me for the afternoon, i can see it in your eyes that your tired and i would like to offer you my space to relax. I can assure you it's much nicer than the floor of an older hidden library. Or at least i hope it is.” She joked and you chuckled softly.
“I’ll make us some food as I’m sure you missed lunch and then we can relax and maybe even take a look at your art. From what I’ve seen and been told in passing, you are quite the artist Ms L/n.” She smiled and you ducked your head embarrassed.
She smiled and went to retrieve some food for the two of you.
That afternoon you sat with the principle and snacked whilst she looked through your sketchbook sounding praises at your art and even asking for a commission for her office.
“I need some more colour in here.” She noted and you smiled. For once you decompressed but this time you weren’t alone. And you knew from now on you would have Larissa with you if you ever needed her.
——————
It had been weeks since you and Wednesday broke up. She gave you your space, watching you from afar. You weren’t oblivious. That’s why you raced out of the classroom immediately, why you changed where you sat at lunch everyday, why you showed up late to every class— it was all to avoid her.
You could tell she wanted to say more, her mouth opening and closing before you dashed out. She’d search for you at lunch, even skipping it so she could check your dorm. It was exhausting, and you were completely drained. Your grades had started to crumble, the bags under your eyes could no longer be hidden by cosmetics, and you could’ve sworn you’d lost an unhealthy amount of weight. You didn’t sleep at night, you couldn’t, not without her cold embrace. But she cheated. She made you this shell of a person.
Bianca tried to help, but you shoved her aside too. You’d shoved everyone aside. You were isolated and that’s how it should be because if Wednesday broke your heart, it was only a matter of time before someone did it again.
As you dragged yourself to botany, you saw a spot of black in the sea of purple. Quickly, you picked up your pace, dashing to the nearest bathroom. You swung the stall open, locking it and squatting on the toilet so your feet wouldn’t show. You lowered your breathing, listening for any footsteps.
You huffed out in relief when no one had followed you. It was unfortunately short lived, seeing as a disgusted face kicked itself under the stall, laying flat on her back. You shrieked out in horror, wedging yourself farther into the wall.
“Dammit, Wednesday!”
She stood up, gently brushing off her thighs. “We need to speak.”
“There’s nothing to speak about,” you grumbled, looking down at your shoes. They were a lot more entertaining than this conversation, and the person in front of you.
“There is—“ She faltered for a moment, her mental dictionary escaping her. “I made a mistake. One that hurt you deeply—“
You snorted, cutting her off. “No shit, Sherlock. Did you hurt Enid trying to get to the evidence to that?”
She frowned, not at all pleased with your attitude. Wednesday stiffened her posture, her face back to a dead expression.
“Look Wednesday, you’re making me late to botany—“
“Not that you wouldn’t have been anyways.”
You gave her a quizzical look, and hopped off the toilet. Due to the small stall, you were in her face. She gazed up at you, her cold eyes meeting yours for the first time. You took a moment to assess her, letting your eyes wander. Her usual makeup was way lighter, her eye bags showing too, there was a slight gloss in her eye, and a vulnerability to them. You gulped, who the hell is pretending to be Wednesday? She’d rather be caught watching chick-flicks than be vulnerable.
“What do you mean by that?”
“As a means to see me as less than possible, you’ve been late to botany eighteen times. On the off chance you weren’t, you were indulging yourself in the rare conversation with someone. Although, conversations are something you seem to be avoiding, given how I had to chase you down in a stall for one.”
You shifted uncomfortably on your feet. “What about it?”
“You rival Sinclair with your desire for human interaction, this behavior is completely unlike you. I fear I may be the cause.” She broke eye contact with you, copying you moments ago as she stared at her platforms.
“Don’t flatter yourself.”
“Causing you pain isn’t any complement.” Wednesday looked back up at you, her face still neutral, but in her eyes held a war.
They flickered from being vulnerable, open for you, so that you could see her. But they flashed back to cold and ruthless so hard you could’ve received whiplash. Wednesday was at an impasse, and you feared the vicious one you knew so well, would win. You were wronged when her hand slowly came up, placing itself on your bicep. She watched her hand for a moment, almost afraid of it, before looking back at you. Your breath hitched at the newfound intensity they held.
“I hate hurting you. What I did was pueril, completely beneath me, and I will spend the rest of my life making it up to you. Tyler is not to blame, only I. I was the one who kissed him—“ You tried to cut her off, but she plowed right through you. Desperately, her other hand shot up to hold you neck. “and I know that I shouldn’t have gambled our relationship on my investigation. They both meant too much to me, and unfortunately I chose the worst option.”
She breathed in shakily, whipping her head side to side as she tried to regain control of her emotions. When your eyes met Wednesday’s again, they were cold, but an equal amount of emotions was kept shown.
“Wedn—“
She placed her forehead on yours, standing up on her tippy-toes.
“Please, tell me you still feel this,” she breathed out.
Her arm holding your bicep slowly started making its way to your neck, leaving a spark in its wake. The tears in your eyes desperately clawed through, trying to tell Wednesday you did. Her touch was hot and cold, burning you alive, but leaving goosebumps trailing after. The pressure on your forehead made you heart swell and beat at godspeed.
It wasn’t fair. It wasn’t fair that Wednesday got to kick your heart around like a soccer ball, and you still loved her. It wasn’t fair that Wednesday got to treat you terribly, shoving you aside and calling you names whilst you just took it. You knew it wasn’t fair, and that’s way you yanked her hands away. You pinched your eyebrows together, a faux anger overtaking your face.
“No,” you seethed out.
Wednesday’s mouth fall agape, her eyebrows raised slightly. “Wha—“
“No. You and I are over. Stay the hell away from me.”
You shoved her aside, not strong enough to see if you’d broken her. You hastily dashed up the stairs, to hell with botany, and locked yourself in an unused classroom. Grabbing out your phone, you scrolled through you contacts until you found her.
Room 205, please. It’s an emergency.
Within minutes Bianca was in the room, nodded along to everything you said.
“And then I shoved her aside, and told her we’re over. God, im such an idiot—“
“No, not at all. Wednesday was a shit girlfriend, alright?”
You lifted your head off her shoulder, shaking it slightly. “She didn’t know.”
Bianca scoffed, clicking her tongue. “She knew damn well what she was doing. Wednesday did not give zero fucks, and at first I admired her for that, but it’s a shitty trait.”
“This isn’t making me feel better. You were suppose to wallow with me, not trash talk the ex im still in love with,” you grumbled, laying your head back on Bianca’s shoulder.
“You’re right. How ‘bout we watch a movie tonight? My dorm? You can even watch that stupid movie that always pisses me off.”
“Zoolander?” You cheerily replied, wiping the tears off your face.
“Yeah, that dude.”
You mumbled out a line from the movie, chuckling at the stupidity of it.
“I’ll even get ice cream. It’ll be our wallowing time.”
“Deal.” You smiled, closing your eyes.
You may not have Wednesday, but as long as Bianca stood by your side, you were confident you’d overcome her.
Wednesday stared at her dorm wall, not moving an inch.
“Wednesday?” Enid timidly called, closing her magazine.
The werewolf earned no reply, only a loud breath in.
Enid grumbled, marching over the black tape to her friend.
“Groveling isn’t a good look on you.”
Wednesday keep staring at the wall, her writing time well over exceeded. Enid checked the typewriter, not a single word was written. She frowned, for Wednesday had sat down three hours ago.
Enid waved her hand in front of her roommates face. “Yoo-hoo, Earth to Major Tom?”
Within a second, Wednesday was up and out of her chair, hovering in Enid’s face.
“What,” she seethed.
Enid was about to retaliate with some sarcastic remark, but she stopped herself. She took note of Wednesday, who was practically shaking. Enid huffed out a sigh.
“You need to put a sweater on, it’s the middle of December and that damn window doesn’t have any wind-blockers— or whatever.”
“No.”
“Yes, you cant freeze to death.”
Wednesday didn’t grace her with a reply, only looking sadly at her shirt. Enid’s eyes followed Wednesday’s, and she realized that not only was Wednesday’s shirt too big for her, but it was also colorful. It wasn’t too lively, just an asphalt gray and some red plastered over it.
“Is that…?”
Wednesday’s eyes snapped up to Enid, rough and firm. “No.”
“Liar. Thats her— that’s her favorite shirt…” she trailed off her sentence, frowning deeply.
“Second favorite.” Wednesday buried her face in her shoulder, turning around.
“You need to talk with her.”
“I tried that!” She barked, finger cocked like a gun. “How did that conclude?”
Enid gulped. “You shouldn’t give up.”
“You are so exasperating! I gave her my all, I bared my soul to her, and she shoved me aside! I—“
“How do you think she felt?” Enid yelled, shoving her own finger in Wednesday’s face. “How do you think she felt when you berated her with those— those cruel words? When you left her alone at those dates she spent hoursplanning, just so you could learn more about the Hyde?” Enid took another step forward, making Wednesday trip over herself. “Or how ‘bout when you made out with Tyler? I’ve tried being your friend, dude! I tried supporting you, but you are screwing up everything! She deserves better.”
Wednesday gulped, her jaw clenching. Enid watched as her body shook once again, but this time not with rage, or coldness, but with grief.
“I didn’t believe you had the guts to say it, Sinclair,” she whispered.
“Say what?”
“What everyone’s been thinking— what everyone knows,” she corrects. “That I’m no good for her.”
Enid sat Wednesday on her bed, sitting an inch away from her. “That’s not true, I said she deserves better, and who says you can’t be? You just need will, and the spirit.”
“Who’s?”
“Huh?”
“Whose spirit, Sinclair.”
Enids eyes shot open, last thing she wants is Wednesday playing with an Ouija Board. She shuddered, remembering the last time that happened.
“Not literally! Like the metaphorical spirit of, y’know, courage, or, whatever.”
Wednesday nodded. “Will— Would you—“
“Yes, I’d love to help you.”
She nodded again, fidgeting with her hands in her lap. “You have to believe me when I say it came from good intentions. I never wanted her to hurt. I just needed to know that my suspicions were correct. I needed to put him away, so I could protect her.”
The blonde nodded. “I know. It doesn’t make it right, though.”
Hesitantly, Enid wrapped her arms around Wednesday. She left her embrace weak so that if she didn’t like it, the psychic would be free to leave. She didn’t though, instead she rested her head on Enids shoulder, breathing shakily.
“We’re in for a long trip.”
You stomped your foot down on the black petals, stuffing the chocolate in your mouth.
“It’s the third time this week, Bianca. She won’t stop.”
“At least you’re getting free chocolate.” Bianca shrugged, stuffing her mouth with the dark candy again.
With a mouth full, you grumbled. “Maybe it’d be nice if it was from someone else. And these notes?”
Bianca picked one up. “I’ll keep sending these until we talk. You cant stop me.”
She snorted.
“It’s not funny, dude!”
“It is though! Like, how worse can she get?”
You shook your head. “This probably isn’t even the least of it.”
Then, just as if the gods wanted to curse you, a pair of keys slid under your door. You walked over, picking them up with the black ribbon. A small tag was placed on there, only reading ‘enjoy’.
You frowned, turning them over. With a loud gasp, you dropped the keys.
“Did she give you a real rabbits foot?”
You whipped around, jaw dropped to hell. “She bought me a fucking car.”
Bianca’s face copied yours and she paced over to you. She picked up the keys, chuckling.
“What the fuck.”
You snatched the keys out of her hand and opened the door.
“What are you doing?”
“Returning her gift. I’m not letting her but me a car.”
“Hey, be reasonable! Yours has been stuttering every two seconds and it’s gonna break down any day now.”
“I don’t care, Bianca. Stay here.”
You slammed the door shut, not bothering to change out of your slippers. You marched down the stoned corridor, mumbling to yourself.
“Buying me a damn car,” you grumbled angrily.
A tap on your shoulder knocked you out of your rambling.
“Dude! Have you seen the new Porsche parked outside? It’s sick!” Ajax jumped up, grinning.
She bought you a fucking Porsche. You wanted to scream. Ignoring Ajax, you broke into a sprint.
When you saw her dorm come into view, you picked up your pace once again.
“WEDNESDAY ADDAMS!” You yelled, pounding your fist on the wood.
The door swung open, and your fist was caught mid swing by freezing hands.
“You bought me a fucking Porsche?”
“I’ll return it if it’s not to your taste. Perhaps a Lamborghini?”
You scoffed. “No! You’re going to return it either way, and not buy me a car.”
“Yours has been repaired? I thought it was still stalling.”
You looked away, embarrassment coated your face. “Well, no, not exactly, but— but I don’t need half the school fawning over the car you bought me. Not only that, I never asked your to! Those things are like a million dollars!’
“The 911 Turbo Cabriolet is only $195,700. Although I could buy you the 911 GT3 RS, which holds a value of $223,800.”
Wednesday’s hand dropped your fist, still holding it. You gulped.
“Look, I appreciate the gesture, and I think it’s really swe—“ you cut yourself off, “you have to return it.”
“Why?”
“Because I don’t want you spending that kind of money on me.”
“Unfortunately, it seems that I am unable to express my love for you through words, so I’ve resorted to pricing measures. You’re keeping the car.”
You gulped, looking into the hallway.
 “Why don’t you just give up?” Your voice cracked.
Wednesday frowned. The hand not occupying yours held you face softly. “Because there’s nothing in the world that I wouldn’t do for you, and having you back is on that list.”
You shook your head, slamming the keys into her hand.
“Keep the car.”
Against her protests, you walked away from her dorm and back to yours. You paced down the hallway, the nail polish being chipped away by your thumb.
Your breath stuttered as you breathed in deeply, trying to get her out of your mind. Why would she do that? That was stupid! And when did Wednesday get that type of money? You frowned, remembering the multiple times she described her home as a large, gothic manor.
You entered your dorm, seeing no Bianca. Sighing, you jumped onto your bed face first.
God, she was so infuriating, and tiring, and annoying, and stupid, and— and oddly enough, romantic. You curled your hand into a fist, hitting your bed as you huffed. You just wanted to move on, get over her and find someone else. Heartbreaks suck, you concluded.
You pushed yourself off your bed, stumbling over to you closet. Whatever random sweater you grabbed, you flung it over yourself. The motion caused a whiff of a scent to flood you, and you could’ve fainted. It was a light lavender and a small hint of coconut. You buried you face into the sweater, the soft, wooly material easing you. A nostalgic sense crept in and you could’ve swornyou’ve smelt this before. Your eyes fluttered open, hands pressing out the sweater. A gasp launched out of your mouth, the black sweater recognizable in an instant. It was the sweater you’d gotten Wednesday for her birthday, she looked it over nodding in approval. You felt so ecstatic because you had gotten her sense of fashion correctly, three sizes too big, black only, and dead things. The sweater held a skeleton looking wayward, flowers for eyes and white petals plastered over it.
You stared at it for a hard moment, eyes becoming hazy. Hot streaks came down your cheeks and you confusedly wiped them away. After realizing they were tears, you let them fall free, huddling on the floor. Her sweater stored your tears as you wept, the occasional hiccup jolting you. You flexed your jaw, the tears making your face uncomfortably sticky, and yawned loudly. A note shot through the door, and you frowned.
You picked it up, sniffling, and ripped it open.
‘Four hours before the witching time. Jericho’s cemetery’
You folded the note into your sweatpants pocket, sighing. God, why did you even indulge this anymore? She hurt you, and went you crawled back to her like a kicked puppy. Regardless, you shrugged off your gray sweatpants, opting for something more classy. You buttoned up your ripped jeans, anxiously biting your lip.
You didn’t bother changing out of her sweater, what’s it matter anyways? It was comfy and worked for you. You checked your phone, seeing you had about an hour until then.
The dorm door bursted open and Bianca came in holding two trays of food.
“Figured you haven’t had dinner yet. Come get your tray.”
“Thank you. Which one?”
“You’re right.”
“You’re fantastic.”
“I know.” She smiled, sitting down on your bed with you.
“She asked me out.”
Bianca tried to contain her spit take, some of it shooting out anyways. “You’re shitting me.”
You shook your head. “I mean I think so. It said something about meeting her at a cemetery.”
“Knowing Wednesday, it’s definitely a date.”
“Right then,” you tutted.
Bianca hesitated for a moment, her mouth dropping before closing. “Are you— are you gonna change out of her sweater, or…?”
“No.” You shifted in your feet, walking away to the bathroom. “It’s comfortable.”
Bianca snorted, following you. As you wetted your toothbrush, she started rambling.
“Wednesday literally cheated, are you sure you want to go back to that?”
With a mouth full of toothpaste an foam, you tilted her head up. “I uh ow! I ill oh her!”
With a disgruntled face, Bianca shook her head. “I have no idea what you just said.”
You spat into the sink, looking back to her. “You’re worse than the damn dentist.”
“Don’t avoid my question.”
You shoved the toothbrush back into your mouth, grinning. “Orry! Uh’ing mah feef!”
“You’re gross.” With that, Bianca walked out the the bathroom, shutting the door behind her.
You continued getting ready, your nail polish practically gone at this point from the anxious chipping. You played with your hair a bit, trying a messy bun, then shaking it out, a pony tail, shaking that out too, before you grumbled angrily. You decided to just leave it as it was, not wanting to be frustrated any more than you were.
As you walked out the door, Bianca whistled. “You look fantastic.”
“I look like I just rolled out of bed. Shut up.”
She shrugged, smiling at you. “Only saying the truth.”
“Uh-huh,” you mumbled, sliding on a couple more rings.
You played with the new jewelry, twisting it back and forth.
“It’s almost eight.”
Your eyes bulged out of your head in shock. “I cant walk there in that ti—“
Your sentence was disrupted halfway through as Bianca dangled a pair of keys. “You were saying?”
The car roared to life, soon fizzing out to pure silence. Your jaw dropped, people used to have to yell at the top of their lungs over your engine. Now, someone could whisper in the back and you’d hear it clear as day. You moved the stick into reverse, gently pushing on the gas. It jerked backwards, and you stomped on the brakes.
Trying again, you slowly applied pressure, feeling the car gain speed fast. As you twisted the wheel, you looked at your dash, a review camera showing your surroundings. Once you’d gotten out of the parking slot, you pulled the sticky note off the center console, reading it.
‘Knew you’d need it. Careful with the gas, she shoots faster than a bullet. -Yours.’
You stuck the note back where it was, and shifted the stick into drive. At that time, a women’s voice blared through the car.
“Good afternoon, ma’am.”
You screamed, slamming on the brake.
“Who the fuck is that?” You panted out, eyes wide in alarm.
“I’m S.A.M.A.R.I.A, a program built by Ms. Addams for your aid.”
You took in a deep breath, still not used to the voice in your car. “She built a program?”
“Yes, for you. She figured you may need assistance when learning to drive this vehicle. That’s what I’ve been made for.”
You settled down, placing your hands back on the steering wheel.
“Would it ease your anxiety if I gave myself a face?”
“Uh, yeah, sure.”
You looked over to your dash, an upright ‘:)’ was plastered over it. Laughing, you gripped your steering wheel.
“I don’t suppose you can drive this car yourself, Sam?”
“Of course.”
You hands whipped away from the steering wheel as it twisted. “Holy shit! This is like, STARK technology!” You cried.
The car smoothly whipped out of Nevermore student parking lot, out the gates, and onto the winding road.
“Would you like to plug in your desired destination?”
“Uh, yeah, can you get me to Jericho’s cemetery?”
“Right away.”
The car took a sharp left, cutting on to a bikers path.
“OH FUCK! SAMARIA!”
You doubled checked your seat belt, letting your hands grip the arm rests afterwards. Clenching your jaw, you shut your eyes tight mumbling whatever you were thinking.
“Your heart rate has increased exponentially in the last fifty-seven seconds. How may I aid you?”
“You can stop driving in dirt paths, for one! And for two, maybe tell Wednesday I might be late.”
“Ms. Addams has already been alerted of your tardiness.”
“Great,” you spat, still clenching your jaw.
You watched in horror as the car didn’t slow down, about to crash into the cemetery’s gates.
“SAMARIA!” You yelled. Suddenly, the car jerked to a stop. Your eyes peeled open and you were barely an inch away from the lock.
“Oh, fuck,” you breathed out, wiping sweat from your forehead.
The gates opened automatically, and the car slowly lurched forward. It cruised until it reached the parking lot, stopping in the middle.
“I hope your cruise was enjoyable.”
“Peachy.”
You exited the car, locking it in your way out, and headed into the cemetery.
Unfortunately, Jericho’s got a lot of dead people, so you were left pacing around hollering for her.
“Wednesday!”
You turned around, checking the horizon. It struck you then, that you forgot to bring a coat, and the wind nipped at you fiercely in retaliation.
With chattering teeth, you called out her name again. “Wednesday!”
“Behind you.”
You whipped backwards, stumbling a bit. Wednesday walked up to you, talking off her own coat. She stepped close to you, wrapping it around your shoulders.
“You’re going to get hypothermia.”
“So are you,” you protested.
“Perhaps, but I’ll enjoy it.”
You shook your head. “What’d you want to meet me here for?”
“You’ll see.” She took off the opposite direction, only turning back to gauge you.
As you walked side by side with her, your hand occasionally brushed against hers. The awkwardness of the situation brought you back to your first date with her. You took her out to Jericho’s library as a study date, it also was the first time you’d kissed. The memory made a red tint cover your cheeks, and you were glad you could blame it on the cold.
When your hands brushed again, Wednesday locked her pinky with yours. You gulped, looking down to her. She continued marching forward, not bothering to address it.
When your eyes left the side of her head, you were met with a white gazebo, bright with different sized candles. In the middle, black pedals surrounded a blanket placed in the center. You gasped slightly, faltering your step for a moment.
Wednesday tugged you forward, and under the threshold.
She looked up to you, allowing you a second to process everything.
“I’m aware people typically have to agree to dates, but I feared you’d shut me down if I’d stated my intentions.”
You swallowed harshly, the log in your throat not budging. “It’s beautiful.”
You looked around once again, not realizing Wednesday hadn’t taken her eyes off you. “It is,” she whispered.
You sat cross legged on the floor, still in awe.
“I hope the car was behaving.”
Oh, yeah, that. “You built an entire A.I system?”
Wednesday nodded, shrugging like it’s normal. “I built SAMARIA when I was ten, since then I’ve done upgrades on her. Only a couple months ago I completely reprogrammed her to fit a car. It was to be your Christmas gift, along with a new vehicle.”
You looked away from her, wringing out your hands. “Here I was thinking I’d get you a new bow for your cello.”
She hummed slightly, starting to open the basket. “It’s a great gift idea.”
“Nothing compared to a new A.I and a car,” you snorted.
“Anything from you, is better than anything else.”
Dejecting the butterflies in your stomach, you pulled up a snarky comment. “When you’d get so romantic?”
Wednesday sighed, pulling out sparkling cider. “In my quest to not become my mother, it seems I’ve become my father. Sickening displays of affection are all I want to show you now.”
You stuttered, not able to find the right words. “Oh.”
She nodded, cracking open the bottle. Carefully, Wednesday poured them into two glasses.
“Unless you’ve changed in thirty-six days, I believe this is still your favorite.”
“N—No, it still is. Thank you.” You took the glass from her, timidly smiling.
“How’d you set this all up?”
“Knocked out the guard whilst he was in his post, and pulled off petals from dyed flower.”
“You knocked out the guard?”
“Yes, no need to fret, the cameras have been disabled by Thing.”
“That’s not the point! The point is you assaulted an officer of the law!”
“You’re unable to rent our cemeteries anymore, quite the pity. It was the only way.”
Laughing, you set down your glass. “You are crazy, Wednesday Addams.”
“I’d go insane for you.”
You bashfully shook your head, snorting. Her hand locked with yours, and she squeezed slightly.
“I want you to know, even if you do not forgive me—“
You sighed, the weight of the situation crashing down on you.
“We—“
“Even if you do not forgive me, I will keep trying. I will not stop until I’ve earned your trust and love again.”
You tried to talk, but it was almost like you completely forgot how to. You gulped, looking into her eyes. Hoping the look on your face showed her just how much this meant to you, you squeezed her hand back. Wednesday looked at you like you were her whole world, and maybe in a sense, you might’ve been. If you were her world, she was your North Star because no matter what, you knew’d you’d always be stuck following her. The scary thing was, you didn’t think you’d want it any other way.
