A/n A fluffy fic for all my traumatised beans who need some motherly weems comfort. You are loved <3
Exhaustion seemed to settle in between the cracks of your mask.
It was hard to pretend you were ok. As if all you wanted to do wasn’t to take a nap in the middle of class. But you couldn’t. You couldn’t sleep. Not here. Not in your dorm. Not anywhere.
Nightmares plagued all hours of your unconsciousness and you had done everything to fight off sleep for the better part of a week now. Sure, you had failed at times and succumbed to the much-needed rest. If you could even call it that. But after a lapse in sleep, you needed more. You craved sleep. But it was awful. You thrashed, mumbled things even screamed or yelled sometimes in your sleep. You would wake up damn with sweat and somehow more exhausted as it took an emotional toll as well as physical. Sleep was broken after you woke from each bad dream. Eventually you simply gave up.
It was around two am on a random Tuesday and after about an hour broken sleep, you woke up for the fifth time.
You sighed annoyed and threw off the sheets. Maybe if you went for a walk around the grounds, you may be exhausted enough for the subconscious to lack the energy to cook up more horrors.
Nobody should be awake at this hour anyway. Anyone who would have been sneaking out would have tried already and been caught. You threw on a hoodie over your PJs not bothering to change.
Slipping out of your single dorm you trudged through the halls. You walked through the quad and eventually found the room you had been looking for. Pulling the lock-pick from your pocket you slipped into the classroom.
It was the only one you ever broke into, and you only ever did it for one reason. The window. There was a window you could pry open and climb out to sit on the roof. It was your safe space.
You locked the door behind you and climbed through the sill. Folding your legs to your chest to curl up into a ball, you rested your head on your knees and wrapped your arms around them. The night was still, and the half-moon lit up the grounds.
You looked up at the stars and did your best to name as many constellations as you could. Which wasn’t many but it was more than the average person may know.
A single stray tear escaped, and you rubbed it away and you cursed yourself. If you began to cry you may never stop. It was a road you did not want to try.
Larissa had been sat in her office, nursing a glass of whisky and trying to get through the excessive amount of budget cuts from the school board.
After about three hours she had moved to her spot by rage window and gazed out at the stars.
Her window overlooked the grounds and she frowned at a lump on one of the roofs. Making sure it wasn’t some creature that could be a threat she grabbed her binoculars to take a closer look. She frowned at what she found.
As far as she knew all the students were asleep. Nobody should be up at this hour apart from her or the odd stray teacher. She sighed and donned her coat, knowing exactly which classroom it was she needed to go to.
She made her way down the halls until she stood outside the classroom in question. She pulled her keys from her pocket and fitted them into the lock. Turning the door handle and pushed the door gently it swung open.
The window was still wide and ajar, letting in a cool draft as she crossed the room. She was surprised you didn’t react to the sound of her heels. But she noted you seemed lost in thought. She stopped at the window taking a moment to observe you.
You were slouched and clearly fighting sleep. Your shoulders were slumped, and you looked ready to cry. You shook slightly from the cold, and she noted the lone tear track down your cheek.
She knew she was going to have to be gentle with you tonight as you were so lost in your own mind you still hadn’t clocked her presence.
“Ms L/n is there a reason you are out of bed at this hour?” She said her hands flying out to catch you by the arms as you startled and lost the hold on your knees.
After a second, she removed her hands from your arms, and you sniffed still looking at the stars. You brought a hand up to scrub at your cheek before glancing at her.
You looked exhausted. She made note that you must have been covering up the darkness that rested under your eyes with makeup, as it was far more prominent than she had ever seen in the halls.
“Come back inside you must be cold” she said gently, and you nodded, a faraway look on your face, as if you were only half here and heard her voice as though it was muffled by water.
You roll over onto your hands and knees and crawl like a baby back through the window. Once you were through, she offered you her hand to help you down from the table and you hesitated but took it. She sucked in a breath at the contact due to how cold you felt, and turned to close the window once you were down and inside.
“You're freezing.” She said sounding mildly peeved. You stood off to the side awkwardly as she turned around to face you now she had shut the window. You shifted your weight from foot to foot and avoided looking her in her eyes.
She carefully removed her coat and placed it around your shoulders, not in how you flinched slightly at the contact. The fabric was warm, and you pulled it closer around you.
“Thanks.” You mumbled and she nodded.
“That’s quite alright. Now please, come with me.” She said and turned to leave; you followed a half pace behind her. As you walked through the halls your face crumpled as you realised you were not setting out to return to your dorm. You hesitated but asked anyway.
“Um Ms weems where are we going?” You said softly and she turned to look at you.
“My office I don’t think you should be alone tonight.” She said with a very gentle look.
You were too exhausted to comprehend what that really meant and even more exhausted at the simple notion of arguing with her.
You gave a small nod, and she returned one of her own, and placed a gentle hand on your bicep to lead you back to her office.
Once she arrived, she let go of her grip and slid in the key and opened the door ushering you inside.
You stood awkwardly in the big room, unsure of what to do. Still wrapped in the principle’s coat.
“Come.” She said and waved you to the door at the back of her office.
You followed and you walked into what looked to be her privet quarters. You felt uneasy in her personal space.
“Ms Weems?” You asked.
“If you would rather sleep in my office, I cannot say it will be a very pleasant experience, and staff may enter at random and disturb you.” She said and you nodded still too tired to be thinking of any possible consequences.
She steered you by the shoulders to a large room which was ornately decorated in her personal style, and you clocked that this was her own bedroom.
“Ms Weems but you need to sleep too?” You said uneasy.
“I assure you darling and I quite well and good. I have some work to finish regardless. Plus, I am more concerned for you, than myself currently. Now I won’t press you to tell me what’s on your mind, but do know I am here, if you want to talk.” She said and you fought back tears. She laid a soft hand on you shoulder and looked into your eyes.
“I’m fine” you mumble softly.
She gives a noise halfway between a snort and a chuckle, an undignified noise to say the least. Her hand flew to cover her mouth before she regained her composure. Your cheeks heated slightly despite the cold.
“Not quite darling. Don’t lie to me. Take your time to speak about whats bothering you, but please don’t lie to me.” She said and moved behind you to take the coat from you.
“I’m sorry” you said softly and let her remove your arms from her large coat.
“No need for apologies darling, it’s quite alright “ she said.
“Thank you” you said barely audible, and it was likely that if she weren’t a shape shifter, she would have missed the sound altogether.
“You're welcome now get some sleep” she said moving over to guide you into the bed and tuck the sheets around you.
“Goodnight Ms Weems.” You said.
“Goodnight darling. Now hush, no more chatter. I’ll be in the next room if you need me. Don’t hesitate to shout.” She said halfway to the door already.
You nod despite her turned back and rolled over away from the door.
She turned back at the light switch to smile at you as she turned out the light.
The door was half shut when she heard you speak again.
“Ms Weems?” You voice sounded small and hesitant. She stopped and looked back. You had half rolled over to look at her over your own shoulder but made no move to speak again. After a beat of silence, the principle spoke.
“Yes darling?” She said, ever patient.
“I just thought you should know I make a lot of noise in my sleep… nightmares.” You explained.
She softened.
“Thank you for telling me. I’ll be sure to leave to door open so I can check on you if anything’s wrong in the night.” She said and you felt the redness flood your cheeks again at her kindness. A kindness you were unused to.
“Thank you.” You said.
“Hush now. Sleep. For real this time.” And with that she left the door slightly ajar, and you failed to fight sleep any longer.
Weems returned to her office and sat back down at her desk. She made it habit to check on you whenever she could and after around an hour, she heard movement through the cracked doors.
She set down her pen, which had been signing documents and rolled her wrist to loosen the sore muscles before she stood to check on you once more.
Making her way into her room she peered in to see you tossing and turning and mumbling something with a concerned look on your face, eyebrows screw together to cause a crease in your brow. You almost looked like you were in pain, and it broke the woman’s heart to see you looking so distressed.
She made her way over to the bed and squeezed your arms lightly saying your name to try and wake you up. She hadn’t expected what came next, however.
You sat bolt upright, and your face connected with her chin. Luckily, she wasn’t injured as she had time to half turn away.
When she looked back at you your hands were cupped under your face and she noted in the low light a small dark trickle running from your nose down your top lip. You looked slightly dazed, and she watched in horror as the blood dripped into your fingers and spread through the creases in your palms.
“Come darling.” She said, throwing back the covers to lead you to her bathroom.
You startled again like you had back earlier on the roof, and she was glad none of the blood ended up on the sheets as you flinched. She supposed she could always get new sheets and your reaction was clearly an involuntary one at that.
“P-principle weems?” You said and she grew concerned as you seemed to scan the room disoriented before she watched the understanding flood into your features and your eyes seemed to stop scanning the room and settle on her.
“You're alright darling,” she said kindly “Now come with me. We need to deal with that blood.” She said with a nod towards your cupped hands.
You swung your legs over the edge of the bed, hands still under your chin as you stood. She guided you by your shoulders to the bathroom and gently let you hang your face above the sink as the red dripped onto the porcelain.
She frowned at your seemingly unbothered nature of the situation.
“Darling, if i may ask… does this happen often?” She asked gesturing to your face. You sighed.
“Im afraid so. I’ve always gotten nosebleed, especially as a kid. I never knew why; they were just always a feature in my life. It got me out of class a lot at my old school. I'd have about one every two weeks or something.” You said and weems frowned.
“I’ll be sure to add it to your file, should this or something similar happen again.”
“Oh, it will. If there’s one thing I can count on, it's my nose bleeding.” You said with a laugh. The principle, in turn, gave a half huff, failing to see the humour of the situation and mildly worried at how desensitised you seemed about it all.
You realised your nose hand stopped bleeding now and turned on the tap, guiding the water to clean the sink of your blood. Whist you did that, Weems turned around and grabbed a rag before turning back to you. She let you wash your hands clean before she gently took your cheek with her hand. You went to protest but she spoke before you did.
“Let me darling.” She said and you relaxed slightly, she brought the damp and slightly warm cloth to you face and began to gently clean the blood from your chin and top lip. Once she had finished, she ran the rag under water again and wrung it out before setting it on the edge of the bathtub to dry. She extended a hand to you.
“Come.” She said and you took it and silently followed her back out and into her office. She made the two of you some tea as you sat and watched.
When she returned with the two mugs you thanked her as she sat down opposite you. It was a comfortable silence, and you felt no pressure yet found yourself itching to tell her everything. She made note of your fidgeting but refrained from commenting. After a moment you sighed and stilled.
“I-it's just always there.” You said and paused, waiting to see if she would interrupt.
She simply nodded and took another sip of tea, not pressing but leaving you to continue if you wanted to.
“The nightmares. I had … a rough childhood.” You chuckled humourlessly. “I guess thats putting it nicely.”
You looked away and picked at the skin of your thumb and she made no move to stop you. You glanced at her and moved to sit on your hands. She frowned at the gesture.
“Sorry.” You spoke. “My mother hated when i fidgeted, she always told me to sit on my hands.” You said with a fragile smile and glossy eyes at the memory you seemed to be drawing on.
“I do not mind. If it soothes you, continue. But as long as it's not damaging.” She said, referencing the earlier action.
You nodded once but stayed sitting on your hands making no move to change your position. You sucked a breath and let out a slow sigh before continuing.
“My dad wasn’t very close with me. My mother and I were inseparable but that changed.” You paused for a beat.
“Im not sure why but the love was different, more sour, less pure. I lost out connection over time. They were … i don’t like to say abusive but i guess if the shoe fits.” You shrug.
“The nightmares are a mix of things. Them. My fears. My mind making up horrors that never happened. It's almost as if my body enjoys torturing me in their absence.” You said giving another dry laugh that made weems skin crawl.
“I just want to sleep. Im so tired. But the nightmares just leave me feeling worse.” You sighed and picked at the seams of your sleeve as your hands escaped their position under your thighs. You averted you gaze to the fire which crackled softly.
Weems sensed you were done and set down her tea on the coffee table.
“If you need someone to talk to.” She paused mulling over her words.
“Or if you just need somewhere to rest. If you need a hug or anything at all, even to vent; I’m here.” She said and you felt the tears congregate on your waterline.
You gave a nod and watery sniffle looking slowly over to her. She patted her lap.
“Come here darling.” She said and you threw yourself into her arms. Her embrace was strong and grounding. Just what you needed as you sobbed into the neckline of her dress.
She held you tight and for the first time in a long time you felt safe. You relished in the warmth of the feeling and soon were breathing softly and deeply, as you feel asleep in her arms, your face buried into her neck where the scent of her faded perfume was strongest.
Weems sat with you in her arms for the while looking into the dancing embers before gently laying you down on the sofa and covering you with a blanket to keep warm despite the ever-present heat of the fire.
Here she could keep an eye on you. Here you were safe. And she meant what she had said. And for the first time in months, you slept soundlessly under her watchful gaze as she worked at her desk, her mind never fully straying from your as you remained steadfast in her thoughts.
The night seemed to pass quickly, and she didn’t disturb you as the early hours of the morning came.
You clearly needed the sleep. She had already planned to excuse you from classes based of how well you had been sleeping now. It was still early morning, still before sunrise and still before the school awoke. And she had ample work left to do.
She was the only one awake on campus and she basked in the early morning silence of the school. This was her favourite time of day. When the world seemed to still and she could almost pretend it had stopped, just for a moment.
She cast her gazed back to your sleeping from and wrote a note to herself on a yellow post it to remind her to also retrieve breakfast for you as well when she went later.
Turning back to her work your soft snore made her heart swell. She loved all her students. But you, you held a safe spot in her heart that seemed to keep it warm with each beat. And she swore then and there to protect you with her dying breath. A student she loved with motherly compassion. As a teacher you saw as a mother.

Requests & Prompt-List
Warnings: Fluff, Anxiety attack, anxiety, overstimulation, sense of overwhelming, little Angst, age gap(all legal), comfort fic, physical affection, hugging, etc.
Enjoy (:
The minute you had stepped into your third period class, you could feel the overstimulation in the air. You already had high anxiety this morning, and this class was by far the worst for your anxiety…
You sat down at a desk with an anxious pit in your stomache, and class begun. You always sat in the back, out of sight and out of mind.
Even though all you wanted was for once, someone to notice you weren’t okay…
A group of werewolf boys were always roudy in this class, and the teacher was always yelling at them to settle down. Then there were the whispers and gossip train of the vampires on the other end of the classroom. Plus the lesson being taught which you had to pay attention you. It all just got worse and worse as the minutes slowly went by.
Your heart was in your throat, your fists were clenched tightly and were white. You had given up on any note taking. You were just trying to focus on even breathing and not combusting in front of the whole class. It was all too much. Too overwhelming.
Suddenly, the classroom door opened. Your breath hitched slightly as Principal Weems walked in. She went over to your teacher and whispered a few things before going to exit again. But before she left, she turned around and scanned the rows of students. You gulped as her gaze lingered on you for what felt like longer than normal.
Save me…
You thought.
“Miss L/N, could I speak to you out in the hall for a moment?” Principal Weems’ voice echoed you back to reality.
You gulped again and clumsily made your way across the classroom and outside into the hall. Once Ms. Weems had closed the door, she her gaze met your frame. You couldn’t do anything but look at the ground.
“Miss L/N, are you quite alright…? You look pale…” the woman concerningly asked.
No, I’m not alright!!
“Yea im Fine” you mumbled, lying through your teeth.
Please see through me! Please see me!!
Principal Weems hummed in recognition of your words and paused for a moment. She then bent down to your level, and directed your chin with her hand, so that your gaze finally met hers.
“Are you sure? You don’t seem fine, love…” she gently pushed.
Your lip trembled slightly. And your eyes were frantic as tears started to well up in them.
“I… no… I’m not I’m sorry…” you choked out, screwing your eyes shit tight for fear of her rejection.
“Thank you for being honest with me, Darling. Would you accompany back to my office for a cup of tea?”
You blinked multiple times as your teary eyes finally looked back at the principal. Her face was filled with concern and care. Her eyes were soft and loving, not professional and stern anymore. You gulped and nodded. The woman then smiled and nodded, taking your hand and squeezing it reassuringly, as she led you to her office.
“M-my stuff…?” You squeaked out, as she was opening the door to her office.
“I will have my assistant go get your things. No need to worry, love…” She reassured you.
The woman placed you on her sofa by the fire, and then she quickly brewed two cups of tea, returning to you, and hanging you a cup.
“Thank you, Principal Weems…” you whispered, as she sat down a couple feet apart from you on the other end of the sofa.
The blonde hummed and nodded, “You can call me Larissa when we’re alone if you like.”
You sucked in a breath, still quite anxious, and nodded. You took a sip of your tea.
“Would you like to talk about it…?”
Suddenly, your tears were back. They welled up in your eyes and spilled down your cheeks. You set your tea aside to frantically wipe your tears away. Larissa quickly set her cup down as well, coming over to you and rubbing your back reassuringly.
Her touch felt nice…
“It’s just… It gets too much for me… sometimes… and I… N-no one has ever noticed…” you choked out through your silent tears.
“I understand. I used to get anxiety attacks in my student years as well. You’re not alone, love…” the blonde softly comforted you.
You leaned into the woman’s touch, ending up with your head against her chest, and your tears staining her dress. You started to pull back, but the woman stopped you.
“It’s okay, Darling…” Larissa said as if she knew exactly what you were asking for.
She then guided you to lay across her, fully on her lap, as she continued to stroke your back. Your shuddery, short breaths started to slowly even out. The woman let you talk and vent as long as you needed, until eventually you were calmed down.
Your things had been dropped off at your dorm she told you. And she said for you to take the rest to the day off. As Larissa led you out of her office, you wrapped your arms around the tall woman, hugging her. Stunned for a second but quick to melt into the embrace, the principal comforted you with her embrace. She then reminded you that her door was always open, before sending you on your way.

It had my heartbroken 2
Wednesday Addams x Reader
Warnings: uh...
Well...I don't know if this was a good idea...btw sorry it took so long to write this...
part 1 | part 2 | part 3
Tumblr media
And I'll be in denial for at least a little while
Two months ago, you found yourself standing in front of Nevermore's gates, translucent like a ghost. You had to convince the people who still holding onto you to let go so you could come back. There are only two people you who possibly still holding on.
You concentrated on gathering more energy to get a solid image, smeared dirt on your face, and disheveled your hair. Moments later, that's how Principal Weems found you standing in front of her office. Her reaction to seeing you standing there looking alive and freshly coming out of a grave made her already red eyes swell again. The following weeks made it difficult for you to explain to her how you came back, so you had to play pretend you didn't know.
It was a mystery to Larissa how nobody else could see you, but when Wednesday asked her about you, she was glad she wasn't going mad, but seeing her student go mad, it's a different story. She asked you nicely to quit showing yourself on Wednesday, which you can't because it's not in your powers. You tried not to show up or talk to Wednesday, but when she started to be absent-minded throughout the day, you couldn't keep watch from afar.
It's been a week since you got caught by your mother leaving Wednesday's room. You have been roaming around in Nevermore's hidden area, where a little garden was restored for you. You spent mostly your time here reading a book while sitting by the fountain. 5 days ago your body started to get translucent like how you arrived two months ago. It started with your fingertips, fading away and coming back as a solid image again. It continued until it was already your full hand. It made the book that you were holding fall onto the grass. When your hand became a solid image again, you quickly took the book and placed it on your lap. You sighed. It is time.
What about the plans we made?
The sun was about to set when you found yourself standing in the garden, wearing all white, which doesn't suit you, but right now it gave you this ethereal look. As if an angel just landed on the surface of the earth. Everything was so peaceful and silent, your thoughts flying out to the sky when you hear two people bickering entering the garden.
You watch the scene unfold in front of you. They only stopped when you completely emerged into their sight, they saw how your body flickered between solid to translucent. Your energy is becoming unstable. You smiled at them sadly.
Y/N: I didn't know how to tell you.
There was a single tear falling on your cheek.
Y/N: I'm sorry for lying. I'm sorry for not saying anything. But it's time to face the reality. Let's stop pretending I'm still alive.
You didn't want to see how you broke their hearts once again, but it pains you more if they continue to live with you not knowing when you'll completely vanish.
Larissa: My sweet child. My little bean. My baby.
Your mother was the first one to break from her shock state and came to your side. Creasing your face, showering you with motherly kisses, and engraving your face into her memory for the last time, she'll ever see, hear, and hold you again. You turned to Wednesday, she's shaking her head, not wanting to believe you, not wanting to believe her eyes, not wanting to settle with this kind of ending, but she has no other choice. She has to. You slowly walk up to her, flickering, until you're only inches away from her. You wiped the tear that escaped her eye, she leans into your touch and kissed your wrist, and you silently sob. That's when she threw herself onto you, letting go of her emotions. She's crying, hard, her hands grabbing your shirt. The sight was heartbreaking.
It was time. You felt it through your body. You looked at your Mother and reached out to her. She gladly takes your hand and engulfed both of you and Wednesday in a hug. The fading started from your feet, slowly creeping up to your legs, then to your waist, and chest, until your head.
"I love both of you."
That was the last thing Larissa and Wednesday heard when you completely vanished from their hug.
———
5 years later
A light knocks on the door. "Come in. Please take a seat. So, I heard you're applying for the botany position— " Larissa, who was too busy reading the applicants' resumes didn't bother to look at the person who came through the door. "How have you been, mom?" You smiled at her, taking in how mature she looked since the last time you saw her. She immediately looked up to see if she isn't imagining things. There you were standing in front of her desk, she waited for flickering or fading away, but nothing happened. "Principal Weems— " Both of you looked to the person who just entered the room. "Hi, my love." You smiled at a stunned Wednesday Addams.

"Come in."
I gently pushed open the doors of Weems's office. I was called in for an "urgent, private matter". I hoped it was nothing too serious, I would have hated seeing principal Weems angry or disappointed in me, although I was sure I didn't do anything wrong.
I was in my last year at the Nevermore academy, and I tried doing everything perfectly. I wasn't always like this, a perfectionist and a "nerd", always doing my homework on time and spending my time studying. No, at first, I was carefree and I scarcely studied. My grades went up considerably, and all because of her. At first, I just thought she was a woman like any others, so I didn't even bother looking at or listening to her. But when I started spending more of my time with her- I had to because of my grades; she offered to help me and give me private lessons to help me get a grip on the studying situation, I started falling for her.
She was an angel; sweet, caring, a motherly figure. But as time passed, all I wanted was to feel more of her touch. She often squeezed my hand or touched my shoulder, but I found myself wanting more. And I wanted to hear more of her voice, her laughter, her hums of approval. I cherished every moment I got to spend with her, which were scarce now that my grades went up.
I wanted to be the top student, just to see that spark in her eyes, to make her proud. To hear her say "good girl" with that velvety voice of her.
"Did you call for me?"
I said, walking towards her desk. She was lost in thought, I could tell. Her lips pursed, her eyes fixed on the fire that lightened the place. She nodded, looking away, moving her hand as to say to come closer.
"Yes, my darling. Please, take a seat."
I did as I was told, making myself comfortable on one of the red couches in front of her. She gave me a weak smile. She was worried about something, I couldn't bare to see her like that. I wanted to take all of her worries and stress away from her, make her calm and soothe her into a peaceful bliss, away from all the problems that plagued the world. She deserved to be happy, and I wanted to be the one to give her that.
"I suppose I owe you an explanation as to why you're here."
I looked at her, listening closely.
"An outside source told me there's an... unidentified creature, scurrying freely in the woods that surround this academy."
I nodded, making her understand that I was listening. She sighed.
"This creature is giving us problems, attacking our students and my fellow colleagues. We can't have that."
She stopped for a second, once more fixing her gaze on the only source of light in the room.
"I understand. I'm sorry to hear that, how can I help?"
She smiled softly, looking at me once again.
"I knew you would be willing to help."
I smirked, blushing a bit. I would be willing to do anything for her. She could have asked me to kill and I would have done it.
"We must go and search for this beast, and make sure it won't bother us anymore."
I pondered for a second her affirmation.
"How can we find it? The woods go for miles and miles, it could be anywhere. We aren't even sure it's in there, it could be hiding somewhere else and only come here to haunt."
"That's my clever girl."
I blushed, and a smile creeped on my face. I loved when she complimented me, I lived for her pet names.
"An unknown source made sure to inform me that they saw this beast come out of a cave."
I remembered the cave. It was situated deep in the woods. It was at least an hour far away from the academy.
"When will we go?"
"Now."
I blinked. Now? But it was already late, almost night. It was dark outside, it could have been more dangerous than going in the day.
"I'm sorry but-"
"No buts. We have to take remedy to this matter as soon as possible, so we'll go now."
I nodded, thought swirling in my head. I had a bad feeling, like something tragic will happen. I tried not thinking about it.
"Go get a jacket and meet me at the entrance in fifteen minutes. Be sure to bring a flashlight as well."
I got up and left the room. Nothing bad will happen, Larissa was a skillful woman, she'll surely know how to defeat a beast. Nothing bad will happen.
~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~
I got to the entrance of the academy to see principal Weems waiting, looking in the dark distance. I quickly ran to her.
"Are you ready?"
I gulped. The feeling in my gut didn't leave. Something horrible is going to happen. I was tempted to tell her, to say to just go back inside and wait for the day, to ask more people to help her in her quest. But I just nodded.
"Let's haunt this monster then."
We made our way in the woods, the road dark and our feet unsure. The light of our flashlights didn't help one bit, the darkness too thick to see a thing.
My fear only grew stronger with each passing step we took.
"I was thinking..."
She hummed, making me continue my sentence.
"Maybe this is not a great idea. You know, going straight to the creature, offering it food- us."
Her eyebrows were furrowed, her eyes squinted.
"Too late for that now, darling."
Then she stopped in her tracks. I looked at her, then straight ahead. Before us, the cave.
My heart raced in my chest, but Larissa seemed completely fine. She didn't give off any emotion.
"Here we go."
She took my hand and squeezed it gently.
"We've got this."
I nodded, still unsure. We entered the cave, everything was pitch black. Darkness ungulfed us all, I couldn't even see my hands or my feet. Our flashlights failed us when we needed them the most. They started flickering, then nothing. I tried pressing the button to turn it on again but with no avail.
"Bloody Hell."
I heard the tall woman curse under her breath. I tried getting closer to her, maybe to feel more protected, maybe to not lose her, maybe because then I could protect her.
"Y/N, give me your hand."
I searched for her hand in the dark. When I found it, I squeezed it tightly, not planning to let go.
"There's nothing to worry about, I've got you now."
My eyes tried adjusting to my suroundings but I still couldn't see much. Then I saw them. Two yellow dots in front of us. I gulped, panick washing over me.
"Larissa..."
She pushed me behind her, our hands still intertwined.
"Hush."
We heard a growl coming from the depths of the cave. Fear was all I knew in that moment. Something horrible was going to happen. We had to escape, we had to run.
"Listen, I'm going to shapeshift, so you'll have to let go of my hand for a bit, ok?"
I didn't want to let go, but I did as I was told. I squinted me eyes, but all I could see were the two yellow dots looking at us. Then a scream.
I jumped in fright. That scream, was coming from a woman.
"Larissa?"
I whispered, stretching my arms in front of me, trying to grasp her.
"Larissa!"
I started shouting, walking more and more into the cave. After a while, my feet touched something. I crouched down, trying to understand what I stumbled upon.
Fright, worry, sadness. Those were the emotions I felt when I touched a familiar kind of fabric. The one Larissa's dresses were made of.
"Larissa!"
I took her under her armpits and dragged her out of the cave. Tears started running down my cheeks. That's not possible, she can't be... she can't be...
After some time, I felt chill air touching my wet cheeks. Panting and crying, I let her down slowly.
"Please... please, say something."
I gazed at her, trying to find a wound or anything that could indicate she was wounded. I took her face in my hands and looked at her closely. There were a few scratches here and there, but nothing too bad. Then I heard her laugh. I gazed at her in disbelief.
She opened her eyes and smiled at me.
"You sure are strong."
I started crying, letting out a shaky breath.
"Larissa! Are you... are you alright? I heard a scream, did it-"
She put a hand on my shoulder, and slowly got up.
"I'm alright, darling. I've got a few scratches, but nothing to worry about."
"But... the scream! I thought-"
"Yes, the scream. It was indeed me who screamed, but it was my plan all along, to play dead after stealing this."
She took something from her pocket and showed me. It was grey hair.
"The monster we are searching for is not a monster after all."
I smiled, gazing at the hair. Then I looked up at her.
"I thought I lost you..."
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to worry you."
I hugged her tightly, closing my eyes.
"Hush now, everything is alright, little one."
Tears still ran from my eyes, this time from relief.
She put a finger under my chin and made me look up at her.
"I hope you know that I won't ever ask you to do anything I would consider too dangerous."
"I know."
"I'm proud of you, Y/N."
She gave me a small smile.
"Come, we must go back to the academy."
"What about the werewolf? Isn't it dangerous?"
"I'm sure it's not. It probably transformed recently and doesn't know how to control itself. It will learn."
I nodded, following her. We made our way through the woods, all the way to the academy. I was happy the bad feeling turned out to be a false alarm.
"Go rest now, dove. I will see you tomorrow."
"Goodnight, principle Weems."
She smiled, then turned around and left. I remained there for a bit, following her with my gaze. I don't know what I would have done if I had lost her, luckily we will never know. I smiled to myself, and left.

How To Woo A Hot Principal
Step 14: Meet The Parents
Summary: Working at the Weathervane was exactly what you needed. The routine, the people, your co-workers. It certainly helped that a certain tall, blonde, fucking gorgeous woman happened to frequent the cafe. Now some may call hopelessly flirting with your customers inappropriate behavior.
But truly, when it came to Larissa Weems, who could blame you?
I'm simply a slut for comforting insecure Larissa, sue me. 🦐✨

Chapter 13
Cross Posted on AO3 Here
HWTAHP Masterlist
-----------------------------------------------------------
You had awoken the next morning to a rather lovely little vase of flowers and a handwritten note. The note smelled like Larissa (yes you sniffed it). The small bouquet contained white tulips, white orchids and some lilies of the valley. If you had been versed in the language of the flowers you would’ve known that they symbolized rebirth, sincere apology and forgiveness. However, since you knew absolutely fucking nothing about the language of flowers you simply thought they reminded you of her hair and general elegance.
Darling, I truly can’t thank you enough for your forgiveness and kindness. I will do everything I can to do right by you. I cannot express how much you mean to me
Yours LW
The heartfelt note had made you rather embarrassingly, giggle and kick your feet. You had all but skipped your way to your appointment with Vlad. He had taken one look at you all smiles and sunshine before rolling his eyes and snorting.
You had spent the morning being what Vlad called an ‘insufferable lovestruck puppy’ which you took as a compliment. You had been sitting in the quad reading a book Dr. Kinbott had recommended for you when Yoko appeared in front of you.
“So you live here now huh?” She remarks.
“I guess so, which means you’re stuck with me,” you joke, closing your book to give her your full attention.
“So… it’s parents weekend this weekend.” She says.
“Oh, that’s cool. Will your parents be attending?”
“My dad will be here yeah, and you’ll definitely meet him. That’s not what this is about.” She explains, “It’s Enid, her parents are weird about her not wolfing out and she’s going to need some like adult support.”
“I’m not certain I count as a proper adult-“
“And she looks up to you and Weems, probably because you’re the only adult queers she knows. And since you two have made up and are together again-“
“Hold on we’re not- I mean we did make up but it’s-it’s a bit more complicated tha-“
“So when her parents inevitably fuck up and make her upset I would really appreciate it if you two would just offer her some support.”
“I-well I mean I-I can see what I can d-“
“Perfect! Thanks queen,” she grinned before getting up and leaving you sitting there rather confused.
Of course, you would give Enid your full support, it was the least she deserved. But you weren’t sure what you and Larissa even were at the moment and didn’t really want to rush into anything. But you resolved that you would at least mention it to her when you saw her. Knowing her motherly care for the young werewolf she’d probably be down to help her out in any way she could.
The mention of parents had made you think of yours, despite your deep inner desire to ignore that rather large problem that needed to be sorted. You had so many questions. And frankly weren’t sure if you even wanted the answers. You knew at some point you’d have to talk to them, maybe even see them. You really would be much happier if you could simply…not do any of that. You already had your issues with them, never mind the fact that they definitely knew you were and vampire and almost definitely did something to make you appear more human.
You’re broken from that particularly fun little spiral of sadness when Larissa appears next to you, sitting down and handing you a cute lil sandwich. You quickly forget all about your crappy parental relationship and instead focus on having a nice time with Larissa.
——
Parents' weekend arrived faster than you expected.
You had shared lunch with Larissa almost every day, which was making you far more giddy than it should. You cherished every moment you got with her. She had been rather stressed out with the planning and organizing. But she met you every day for lunch, and you would chat about everything and nothing and you felt your heart healing bit by bit each day.
You were currently standing in the quad, watching as parents arrived and went to see their kids. It was really rather heartwarming, seeing so many kids (most of whom you knew on some level) chatting with their parents and actually being listened to. There were those who seemed rather pissed their parents were there or those who were sitting with friends and their families. You were keeping an eye on Enid, glancing over at her every now and again to make sure she was doing okay after Yoko’s ominous warning. She seemed alright for now but you could tell having her parents around was stressing her out a bit.
“Are you a part of the staff here?” A voice asked from your side.
You just about fell the fuck over out of fright, turning to see who had snuck up on you. It was a woman dressed in a figure-hugging black dress with long dark hair. The dark look was completed with almost plum-colored lipstick. Honestly, she pulled it off in a way you weren’t sure many could.
“Oh uh…no I’m not a teacher here.” You answered.
“Then I suppose you’re a parent…?”
“Oh uhm no, no I’m not a parent. It’s uh- well the story of my being here is rather complicated…”
Honestly, you had no idea how to explain to this woman why you were staying at Nevermore. You weren’t sure simply saying ‘I was attacked in the woods and brought back here to recover’ would make much sense or not be met with a thousand other questions. And honestly, you weren’t sure Larissa wanted you advertising why you were there either.
You’re saved from having to explain further when Larissa stepped up to the podium to make her welcoming speech. She’s truly mesmerizing when she speaks. And she looks fucking gorgeous as always. You’re almost certain you’re staring at her like a love-sick puppy, again. She finishes her speech (you didn’t take in one word from it) and glances at you, sending you a small smile. You send a small wave back, beaming and feeling your heart skip a beat.
“Ah…I see.” You hear from the woman next to you.
“Oh no I mean it’s-it’s not like that! I mean it. Well, it is but it’s- you know it’s complicated and-“ you try to explain, not wanting to start rumours or fuck up Larissa’s image.
“It’s alright dear,” she chuckles, reaching out and squeezing your arm, “I’m gla-“
She’s cut off as her head snaps back, her grip on your arm tightening slightly. She stays like that for a few seconds before she relaxes, her gaze coming back to you. You notice she’s now grinning at you and you can’t help but feel slightly uneasy.
“I-are you alright?” You ask.
“Absolutely fine dear,” she smiles, “and you and I have a lot to talk about, particularly regarding a certain white-haired principal.”
——
Larissa was stressed.
Parents' weekend was usually a tense affair, with the insane amounts of organizing needed to make sure it ran smoothly. Not to mention the countless meetings she ended up having with parents of families, varying from simple check-ins to rather difficult talks regarding the students' behaviour.
However, none of this caused half as much stress as seeing you standing with Morticia Addams. She was sure she was overreacting, Morticia had no way of knowing the two of you were…well whatever you two were. And even if she did it wasn’t like she would say anything that would intentionally harm your recovering relationship.
Unintentionally though…
Larissa had been swept into parent meetings since her opening speech. She had a meeting with the Addams next and was quite frankly dreading it. She slumped forward in her seat resting her head in her hands as she sighed. Wednesday on her own was a headache to deal with (she would never admit how deeply the girl had wormed her way into her heart). Now she would have to suggest not only to her but to her parents that they go for family counseling. God her work was cut out for her.
As her office doors opened she straightened up in her chair, squaring her shoulders and putting on her warmest smile. Her carefully crafted expression falters when she notices you being dragged in by Morticia who seems to be halfway through telling you something she prays isn’t about her.
When you glance up at her and shoot her a shy smile her heart flutters and her anxiety calms a little. She gestures for the family to sit, eye twitching when Morticia squeezes your shoulder and whispers something in your ear.
She’s further confused when Morticia asks you to stay, earning a rather loud sigh from Wednesday. You turn to Larissa, silently asking if you should go, looking just as confused as she feels. She nods, gesturing to an open chair against the wall.
The meeting goes about as smoothly as Larissa could’ve expected. Wednesday at least keeps her sarcastic, cutting remarks to a minimum. Morticia makes her usual teasing remarks, even going so far as to call her a ‘stately sequoia tree’. She swears she heard you muttering something about climbing her like a tree and nearly choked on her own breath, barely managing to keep her face from blushing bright red.
Eventually, the Addams leave. Not before Morticia comments over her shoulder something along the lines of ‘you two love birds enjoy yourselves.’ When her office doors finally shut she groans, covering her face with her hands.
You stand, quietly making your way behind her and resting your hands on her shoulders and pressing a kiss to her head. You gently massage her shoulders, face flushing at the bordering-on obscene moan she lets out.
“Long day?” You ask softly.
“Mmmm…” she hums, melting into your touch.
The two of you stay in silence for a while, with Larissa relaxing a bit more with each press of your thumbs into her shoulders. Eventually, she straightens up again, dropping her hands into her lap. You press one last kiss to the back of her neck, relishing in the way she shudders at the feeling. You then squeeze her shoulders one last time before moving to sit on the edge of her desk, smiling softly down at her. She fidgets with her bracelet, staring very intently down at her desk.
“Did you uhm…have an interesting chat with Morticia?” She asks gingerly.
“Mmm,” you hum, “she was regaling me with stories of your shared time at Nevermore.”
“Oh…”
“Yeah! She was quite nostalgic about it all. She was telling me about how you two shared a room and got up to ‘many daring activities’ as she put it.”
She groans, once again opting to cover her face with her hands.
“She did uhm…she did tell me you’re a shapeshifter.” You murmur.
Your heart breaks at the way she stiffens at that, still not looking anywhere near you. She clears her throat, going to say something before clenching her hands into fists on her lap.
“Is…is there someone you wish for me to change into?” She asks, in a voice that’s so small and hurt.
“I what? Why would I-” You stutter.
“I…most people when they find out about…about my abilities…they. Most people want me to turn into someone else…someone…better.”
She whispers the last part.
You blink at her. And then you blink again.
“…who….who in the fuck said that to you?” You ask, anger seeping into your voice.
She doesn’t say anything, simply shrugging and refusing to meet your eye. You have to take a moment to calm yourself down so you don’t take out your anger on Larissa. You take a deep breath and she starts to apologize in a watery voice when you stop her.
“Larissa I don’t know your middle name Weems,” you start, moving to sit on her lap and cradle her face in your hands, “there is absolutely no one on the face of this planet- no one in this goddamn universe who could ever be better than you. I-I can’t even begin to explain. You’re like…some fucking celestial being brought to earth to make it a better place. You’re-you’re brilliant Larissa. You’re - words can’t describe how utterly impeccable you are. I don’t understand- I could never want anyone but you, just as you are.”
You brush your thumbs over her cheeks, eyes lovingly tracing over her features. You notice her eyes welling up with tears, giving her a gentle, loving smile.
“I-I don’t understand…” she whispers.
“I know my one little speech won’t change your mind. Now when it sounds like so many fucking assholes-“ you cut yourself off, taking a breath to calm yourself. “And I know that-I know you and I are in a strange place right now but that doesn’t change the fact that you are far more than just enough, just as you are. And I will spend every moment I have by your side helping you see that. I-if you’ll let me.”
She stares up at you, tears staining her cheeks as she gapes up at you with wide eyes. You gently wipe her tears away. She wraps her arms around your waist, hands clutching at your back. You can feel the way she’s trembling, the subtle shake of her hands as they press into your back and pull you towards her. You press a kiss to her forehead, and then another to her nose before you lean down to hover with your lips practically touching hers.
You stay there, staring into her eyes and glancing down at her lips every so often. Your heart is pounding in your chest and you’re almost certain Larissa can feel it. It almost feels like the first time the two of you kissed all over again. You’re about to finally close the distance, finally kiss her-
And then Larissa’s office doors are being opened and none other than Morticia is walking through them. The two of you barely have enough time to lean apart from each other when Morticia smirks so fucking smugly at the sight of you two.
“Oh, how glad I am to see the two lovebirds back together.” She smiles, before promptly leaving the room just as quickly as she entered.
Silence permeates the room after the door clicks shut. You turn back to look at Larissa, a smile tugging at your lips upon seeing her flushed cheeks. When the two of you lock eyes you can’t help the giggle that rises in your throat. Larissa soon follows suit, the sound of your combined laughter filling the room. Eventually, you both calm down leaving you both smiling at each other.
“C'mon pretty lady,” you hum standing up from her lap and holding out your hands for her, “we should go make sure the school didn’t burn down while we were talking.”
“Don’t even joke about that. Anything is possible with this year's students.” She snorts, wiping her eyes one last time as she stands.
You take her hand in yours leading her to the door with a smile on your face. And so the two of you leave her office, hand in hand, ready to face whatever comes your way.
—-
Turns out what came your way was far more manageable than you had thought.
There was the entire debacle of Wednesday's father being arrested for a decades-old murder case. And then Wednesday and Morticia joined him in the town's jail for grave robbing. Larissa hadn’t found the whole thing half as funny as you had but had, reluctantly, agreed to badger Sheriff Galpin into letting Wednesday and Morticia go. Which in turn led to Gomez having his name cleared. So all in all a manageable affair.
Other than that the weekend had gone smoothly. Enid had come to you and Larissa on Sunday while you were having lunch in her office, a little teary-eyed and apologetic for interrupting you two. You both rushed to assure her she was never a bother and listened as she told you about how her mother kept pressuring her to ‘wolf out’ and suggested a werewolf-conversion therapy camp (you had honestly wanted to go fight the poor girl's mother, mayhaps even bite her for good measure.) But Enid had explained how she stood up for herself, earning much praise from both of you. She spent the rest of the lunch with you both, sharing the hot gossip that had been happening.
So really, all in all, the weekend had been quite a success. This was why you and Larissa were in town today, grabbing some celebratory hot cocoa from the Weathervane. You had just finished catching up with James (Tyler was strangely nowhere in sight when you arrived). You picked up both of your hot cocoas as you had decided to take them to go so that you could take a stroll around town.
You were walking arm in arm with Larissa, telling her about something James had told you when you heard your name being called from behind you. You stop dead in your tracks, your heart dropping into your stomach. Larissa turns to look over her shoulder, glancing at you as she does, concern marring her features.
You know that voice. You had fucking hoped you’d never hear that voice again in your life if you were particularly lucky. You take a deep shuddering breath, taking a moment to center yourself before turning around. And there he stands. The man you’d hoped to fuck would just leave you the fuck alone.
“Hi dad.”

Your father’s gaze was not on you this day. Dark clouds hung low and heavy, threatening rain at any moment. Not a glimpse of sunlight was able to peek through. While you usually would have been happy to be out of his all seeing eye, having a parent right now would have been nice. You wanted the lush leather of the office arm chair to swallow you whole.
“Before we start, I just wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss” Principal Weems tried to be comforting, but it was a phrase you had heard too many times in the past few months.
“Thank you, ma’am.” you never knew how to respond to it either.
“Now.” the older woman spun her chair around so she could reach for a desk drawer. You could hear the click of her heels on the floor as she turned. At her distraction, you spared a glance out of the window. Through the thin curtains you could see forms of people. You could get a flash of a vibrant coat or the shape of a cart rolling belongings around. Weems came back up with a manila folder.
“I understand you have been homeschooled these past two years by your mother.” You nodded your head “your academics are not in question, all of your work has been looked over and is more than adequate for you to be able to continue here.” She turned a page, pausing briefly in her speech to scan the document. “Now, your previous dorm room has been filled already, but I can still put you in Ophelia Hall. How does that sound?”
While it came from a place of good, Principal Weems was trying to be gentle with you; as if a single misspoken word would send you into a frenzy.
“That would be great, thank you.”
“Excellent.” she did some more scanning “Now, I would think your old uniform is a tad too small for you now, so I’ve had a new set sent to your room. Your schedule,” she pronounced it so Britishly “and other papers are all here, so all that’s left is to get you settled in.” she slid the file over to you. As you reach out to grab it, Weems placed her hand over yours, pulling back almost instantly at the heat.
“Sorry ma’am.
“Quite alright.” She examined her hand for any burns. In finding none, she continued “Now I know these past few years have not been easy for you, (Y/N). If you ever need anything, I want you to tell me, alright.” You nodded again, looking directly into her eye “Your guardian has also asked that I set you up with someone local to help you through these times.” You felt your stomach drop “We have a trusted therapist in Jericho who has been excellent in the past. It is all very discrete and...”
“Thank you, Principal Weems.” you cut her off, sliding the folder off of the desk. You stood. “Will that be all?”
“Yes, dinner is at 7 but, uh, you remember that.” you nodded your head “Do you need help moving in?” she looked at you with a motherly care in her eye.
“No, I should be good.” You walked to the door. “Have a nice day.”
The road leading to Nevermore Academy was packed with cars of all types. Decadent chauffeur cars were parked neatly along the side while battered minivans and what could only be described as grandpa cars sat crooked on the grass. You made your way along the drive until stopping at a large wheeled wrangler. While the inside was empty of people, you could see the edges of wings from the top of the car.
“Ya know, I think it’s soooo fuckin’ dumb that I couldn’t be in there with ya.” The voice was feminine, alto in nature with slightest hint of a Boston accent. “I may not be ya blood, but I’m still ya god damn legal guardian.”
“It’s alright, it’s not like you missed much.” your shoes scuffed against the asphalt “It was just my schedule and stuff. Plus the mandatory sorry for your loss speech” There was a bark of laughter as a response “Besides, you can still help me move in.” A slight groan broke through the amusement of the being on the top of the car, but she was still laughing. You walked around to the back of the wrangler and opened the trunk.
“You didn’t tell me you wanted me to go to therapy while I was here.” The laughter stopped. A horned head emerged from the top car, red eyes looking down at you. Loose strand of dark hair fell forward, making a sort of curtain.
“It’s for my peace of mind, (Y/N). It’ll make me sleep bettah knowing ya got someone here for ya: just to check in.” she paused “Sorry I didn’t tell ya.”
“It’s okay, Leto.” In all honesty, you weren’t mad at all. It warmed your heart to know she worried about you that much. You picked up one of your bags, slinging it over your shoulder.
“You gonna help me or what?”
A loud thump shook the car as Leto slid off the top.
“Ya lucky I like you.”
“Sure.” she lightly smacked you with the edge of her bat-like wings and stood next to you, eyeing up the amount of stuff you had to bring up.
“Think we can bring it up in one trip?” she asked, testing the weight of one of your boxes.
You huffed “Probably.”
You could bring everything up in one trip, but at the cost of feeling in your forearms. Leto wasn’t faring any better. Having the bright idea to hang bags from her horns, her head was being weighed down to the point where she just asked you for directions. After lugging yourselves up stairs and through long halls you came to your room. Praying that there was someone inside, you kicked your foot against the door. You heard music stop and shuffling until the door was open. Over the boxes in your hands, you could see a hat covered head and the arch of  a brow.
“Oh wow?” was the first thing your roommate said and you and Leto walked past her.
All but throwing the items burning your body, you shook out your forearms and turned to face your new roommate. The first thing you noticed about her was how tall she was, almost besting Leto’s 6’1. The next was the maroon beanie carefully wrapped around the top of her head; a gorgon. She stuck her hand out, and you saw her nails were neatly done in a crimson polish.
“Hello, you must be (Y/N). I’m Marcella Petropolis.” you shook your hand some more willing the heat to leave your fingertips. Taking her hand in a firm grasp, you shook it without any issue.
“It’s nice to meet you, Marcella.” The taller girl smiled before clapping her hands on her thighs
“I’m so sorry I can’t stay but I have to go help my brother. Want to meet up at dinner, get to know each other?”
You smiled back “That sounds great.” She began walking to the door
“See you soon.”
“I like her” Leto announced from out in the hall, a mix of her wings and the luggage keeping her there “now please fucking help me.”
You quickly walked over “Sorry”
Moving in didn’t take nearly as long as you expected. After scooting your bed so it was against the wall and pushing your desk so you could look out the window, it was easy work. Leto put your clothes away as you lined up plants and trinkets along the windowsills and nightstand. Even though you weren’t on the top floor, you still had a small balcony overlooking the school, accessible through the window behind your bed. You had sun-catchers dangling in front of the windows for when the clouds decided to leave. A quilt, made by your mother, covered your bed where a few too many pillows had been piled up. In the corner where the bed had originally been, you put your small potion brewery.  In all, it was coming together nicely.
As the dark sky became darker, and the final thing was put into place, your heart began to grow heavy. Leto would have to leave. Leto hadn’t left you alone since the funeral.
Turning around, you already found the succubus looking at you. While her eyes were in your direction, she was off somewhere else.
“What are you thinking about?” you haphazardly put down the vials you were holding and turned to face her.
“Yah Ma.” she answered “and how proud she’d be of ya.”
You smiled slightly “Thanks Let”
Leto held out her arms wide, smiling to the point where her fangs showed. You happily accepted the embrace, pulling yourself closer as her wings wrapped around you.
“What are you going to do when I’m gone?”
You felt the rumble of a chuckle in her chest “I have some work that’s gonna take me out West. I should be back at home before your break.” You nodded into her “Hey, promise me you’re gonna take care of yaself, okay? It can get all types of wild here and I just…” she cut off, swallowing loudly “I just want ya to have a good time. Ya deserve it.” If possible, you pulled her even closer.
“I promise, Let. You don’t have to worry though, it's just school.”
“Ha, nice try” she freed you from her wings and let go, opting to place her hands on your shoulders “I legally have to worry about ya. Remember?”
You smiled, it didn’t reach your eyes
“Alright, I’m gonna go before ya make me cry.” Leto pushed off your shoulders, a dramatic move for just turning around. “Get good grades, don’t do drugs, use a condom…”
“Hey!”
She turned around and winked, “Ya can never be too safe.” Her eyes lingered on you for just a second “ I love ya, (Y/N). Don’t forget to call.”
“I won’t, love you too.”
With that, she was gone. You listened till the sound of her boots on the stone floor dissipated before letting out a breath you didn't know you were holding.
As you walked down to the first floor many familiar faces passed you. Enid Sinclair; her family has sent you meals and care packages all throughout your mother’s illness. Paul Pasker; his father had been your pharmacist. Yoko Tanaka; she has been your roommate for your first years at Nevermore. Xavier Thorpe; the last time you had seen him was at the funeral a few months back. You knew these people, or, you had. You knew them two years ago before your mom got sick and you had left. Now they were just people whose names you knew.
Walking into the vast room that was the cafeteria, you searched for a maroon head. You found Marcella sitting in a corner, also scanning the crowds. When she spotted you, she waved you over to the small table. Heels clicking on the stone tiles, you walked over.

First your writing is incredibly amazing and I love them so much and I do have a request, so I was thinking like Larissa Weems X half deaf young reader which I want to be mother X daughter relationship and I was think that Larissa is trying to teach young Reader ASL and now Reader signing "I Love you" or "I love you to the moon and back" or "Your the best momma ever" the rest are up to you😅
I'm sorry if it is too much😅
I just never read a fan fic with a deaf or half deaf (which is hard of hearing) reader😅
The first time| fluff
*Authors note~ A fluffy little Drabble for our darling Larissa weems also this is an important topic so I hope my research is correct and please let me know if I get anything wrong*
Trigger warnings~ hard of hearing reader adopted r past trauma
Prompt~see ask^^^^^
✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿
You'd been hard of hearing all your life, in fact it's why your biological parents gave you up. You'd bounced around foster homes all your life, being used and abused because you were different. No one even bothered to teach you ASL, so you'd always found it difficult to communicate. In fact you had became selectively mute by the age of five years old to protect yourself from the laughter and cruel actions of others.
At the age of thirteen your Florakinesis began to thrive and become more obvious to the Normies, that's why it made since to let the Principal of Nevermore adopt you. Due to your past you we're hesitant which was understandable and especially living in a school with other children opened you up to a variety of abuse. Little did you know that decision would be the best thing to ever happen to you in your life.
Larissa was nothing like your previous Forster parents. She was kind caring and patient with you. You could tell she had oodles of motherly love to give to anyone who was in need of it. Larissa loved her job and cared for all her students, that much was clear by how she spoke. You were still cautious and skittish for a while, wondering what would happen if you let your guard down with her. What if that was all a facade to lure you into a false sense of security.
It had been six months of living with Larissa now, you seemed to fit into Nevermore life perfectly and were smashing your classes so you and Larissa had some private ASL lessons after school hours.  You'd picked up the basics, and got some special books from the library in order to surprise your now adoptive mother. You'd been working hard on learning some new words. Knowing how well your adoptive mother treated you and loves you made you emotional to think about.  You were so grateful for Larissa Weems and you desperately hoped she knew how much love and care you held for her.
After school hours you made your way to your adoptive mothers office, following your usual routine of dropping your bag and kicking off your shoes. Normally you'd go lay down on the sofa but today you had plans. You brought yourself to stand next to your mother. Slowly and gently you brought your shaking hand to her cheek, your signal to her that you needed her to look at you. Larissa did so with concern filling her eyes, "darling are you okay?"
You signed the word stop which Larissa did instantly, her curious eyes trained on your hands as the shook. You slowly and carefully signed "you're the best momma and I'm lucky to be your chosen daughter. I love you momma" by the time you finished tears sprang in your eyes as you saw Larissa sob. She signed back "I love you baby, thank you for this precious gift" which caused you to blush and immediately come to settle in her lap. It wasn't something you thought you'd ever do but allowing your momma to love you despite your hearing issues was one of the best choices you made.
Word count~ 689

idk about anyone else, but my mommy issue are screaming because of Larissa Weem’s.
I'll take care of you
Pairing: Larissa Weems x Reader
Word Count: 346
Warning: none
A/n: this is very short, but packed with fluff and love!! <3
Tumblr media
You felt horrible. There was no other way to say this. Your whole body hurt, you were cold and hot at the same time and your head felt like it was about to explode. That's why, for the whole day, you hadn't left the bed once. Half the time you were asleep.
Right now as well. Or, better said, you were until your wife had come in turning on the light, happy as ever.
"(Y/n), what are you doing in bed?" You groaned, you were sure your head was exploding.
"Please, turn off the light and be quiet." Larissa immediately obeyed, and sat down on the edge of the bed. She down at you, concern washing over her face. Gently she put her hand on your forehead.
"You're burning, love. Let me get a thermostat." She left to go into the bathroom. You could distantly hear her searching the drawers, you knew where it was but your voice was so weak, it wouldn't have reached her.
"There it is, here (Y/n) open your mouth." It took a minute, as usual, but as Larissa looked at the temperature she looked even more concerned.
"39,8 °C. That's high, way too high." Hastily she left the room and came back a few minutes later, antibiotics and some wet wash cloths. Gently she started wrapping your calf.
"There's a glass of water, take the antibiotics." So you did, before you caved into the pillow again.
You looked at Larissa in awe, you were absolutely stunned. In bed, she could be so dominant and rough, as Principle she was stern and strict, and now she sat next to you gentleness in persona. With so much love and care, adoration mixed with concern in her eyes.
As she was finished, she pressed a light kiss on top your head and laid down next to you. You fell asleep again quite fast, but still felt her change the wash cloths around your calf regularly. She really was and angel, and you didn't know what you had done to deserve her as your wife.

Sister Not Daughter {Larissa Weems}
Tumblr media
Summary: Everyone thinks that you and Larissa are mother and daughter but really you're siblings
Relationship: Larissa Weems x Reader Weems
Warnings: none
________________________________________
"How many times, have I told you to stay out of my makeup?" You yelled from the closet that you and your older sister shared.
"I haven't touched it." she said as she walked in applying her signature red lipstick.
"Bullshit."
"Is not!" Rolling your eyes at her immaturity, you slip your shoes on before heading towards the front door of the living quarter that you both had.
"Rissy, c'mon I'm going to be late to work." You call back to her, once stepping out into the hallway which led you down to the front office of Nevermore.
"I'm here," Larissa announced leaning down to hug you considering the height difference. "Now get to your class, don't want to leave those kids waiting again." laughing you walked away from where she was standing not before flipping her off.
The first period of Normie Studies flew by, mainly because you hadn't of planned much. The exams were coming up and you wanted to let your students have as much time to study as they could. But out of the corner of your eye you could see Enid whispering to Yoko, usually you didn't mind it but she wasn't attempting to be discreet with what she was saying. With 15 minutes left, you ordered the students to put their books away and decided to do a question and answers session.
"Miss Weems......" Enid was the first to ask, "Whats it like having Principal Weems as your mother?" Raising your eyebrows in confusion, you knew of the 20 year age gap but you and Larissa had thought it was obvious that you were sisters and not mother and daughter.
"Principal Weems, acts like my mother yes but she is not my mother, she is my sister." That definitely got the classes attention. Gazing over all the students you notice a tall figure in the back of the classroom, not knowing when she got there you continue on with the story.
"Though I can assure you, Principal Weems is a wonderful motherly figure but is quite bossy. Especially that one time with duct tape-" Before you could get another word in, you're cut off by your sister.
"Miss Weems, I don't think these students need to know that memory."
"Oh, but we would Principal Weems." Wednesday spoke up now, smirking at the taller sister.
"Maybe another time Miss Addams." You say with a wink, knowing your sister would kill you if you did.
"I'd have to disagree, don't want a redo of it. Do you?" Larissa called as she moved out the door laughing at the thought.
"I'll tell you all another day.. maybe but for know go enjoy your weekend, study and stay alive. Especially you Miss Addams."

Hi I’m a massive fan of your work and was wondering if you could do an aegre prompt for little reader and Cg Larissa. So reader can see Larissa is really stressed and could do with caring for her little. So they slip happily providing her with the stress relief she needs. But Larissa just thinks reader slipped for readers own self ~☄️
Little on a mission
Larissa Weems x little!reader
Tumblr media
A/n: this feels so fluffy and domestic I’m so happy with it. Excuse the ridiculous amount of space at the end, it’s the only way I can get part tumblrs character limit.
Warnings: mentions of yelling, food, stress.
You knew how bad it was getting once the pacing around started. The calm and composed Larissa Weems did not pace. She sat and planned, walked with her head held high and purpose. Once the knee bouncing got too annoying the pacing would start.
The mumbled plans and arguments barely audible but so obviously frustrating her to no end, as a phone call reached her she stopped to make an angry reply. You had to do something!
Larissa had always told how much taking care of you helped her, mostly when you had your meltdowns and your overthinking got the best of you, but she was quick to reassure that it actually brought her peace, to be able to hold and help, knowing that she was needed and that her efforts to care for you weren’t in vain.
She has always had that motherly nature, the need to protect and care for others, it made her feel accomplished and beyond happy when she was successful at it too. So while you were running through your options, seeing how you could assist, it came to you, you had a mission.
“Momma?” You were sat on the couch reaching a hand out to her, which caused her to stop fighting on the phone. She immediately took your hand in her own once she caught the sight of you. Knees curled up to your chin as you looked at her, eyes laced with what she thought was fear, Larissa wasn’t one to yell much. “I’m sorry darling, did momma scare you?”
You shook your head no. It was worry, concern. Larissa holds her own a lot of the time, it’s unusual to see her behave that way, it’s why it worried you so much. The woman has way too much to stress about and it’s getting to her, you wanted to get her out of the office, she deserved and needed a break.
Larissa kneeled to be eye level with you as she cupped your face. “Mommas sorry for yelling little one, how about we leave the office for today, we can get you a snack and cuddle up to watch one of your little shows, hm?” Success #1, you’re going home!
You nodded, making grabby hands her way. She happily picked you up, she sighed, comfortable, when your arms wrapped around her and made her way to your shared quarters. “Cookies?” Was the first thing you pointed out when she went to look for snacks, making her chuckle and grab them for you.
After picking the snacks you requested she sat you on the couch, making you huff and pout at her. “I’m just getting you your drinks my love, I’ll be right there” you crossed the couch and laid your head on the armrest as you watched her. She seemed much more relaxed at home, a smile on her face as she prepared things for you to share, she did love taking care of you. Success #2, home at last.
“Momma?” She gave you a hum and turned to look at you, a smile growing on her face at the sight of you. “Well aren’t you just adorable! I’ll stand here forever if that’s what it takes for you to lay your little head like that.” you giggled as she made her way over setting down a cup with juice and the other with water along with your snacks.
You immediately moved to lay on top of her when she sat, she looked down briefly and started playing with your hair. “What are we watching, darling?” “mmm octonauts!!” That’s her favorite of your little shows. “Brilliant! That’s my favorite too!” Success #3, Cuddles and tv time.
As she looked up a playlist for your favorite episodes you grabbed one of your cookies, snapping it in half and offering the other half to her. “Oh for me? Thank you little one! You are so sweet.” And of course, she accepted. Success #4, food!
Mindlessly you continued picking up different snacks and doing the same, you’d split every single one with Larissa even if you were going to get another anyways. And Larissa thanked you for each one with a comforting smile.
You snuggled up close to her while watching your show, and she rested her chin on top of your head, wrapping her arms securely around you.
She let out a relieved sigh, at home with you she always felt the most calm. She allowed the comfortable silence to wrap around you with the background noise of you show, your own little oasis. Where she got to be momma and not principal Weems, she loves her job, but who doesn't need a break? It’s like you knew just when she needed you. Success #5, Mission completed.

15. I can't do this without you - Larissa Weems x fem!reader
warnings: pregnancy, giving birth, fluff, little bit of angst(kinda)
words: 1.9k
Tumblr media
In the comfort of your home and the arms of your wife, you barely registered the warm liquid between your legs and on the bed. Slowly looking down, you barely saw anything besides your 9-month pregnant belly, and suddenly you just knew.
“Uhm, Larissa?” you turned to look at your wife, who was just about to close her eyes for the night and you felt a little guilty to disturb her peaceful almost-sleeping.
“Yes, Darling?” she barely said the words, when she felt something wet under her bare legs. With widened eyes she looked at you and cupped your cheeks, wiping the silent tears that escaped your eyes.
“I think my water broke.” you whispered smiling at her, hiding the fact that you would rather throw yourself off of Nevermore’s roof, you were so scared.
“Okay, baby. It’s okay. You stay here, lay down a bit. I’m going to call the midwife and get you some wet towels, okay? Do you need anything else? Something to eat or drink?” she hurried to the other side of the room to grab her phone and dialed the midwife’s number.
“Hey, Rissa, calm down. You won’t faint, right? I need you next to me.” you chuckled lightly and saw Larissa’s face soften. She smiled at you and as she opened her mouth to tell you something, you heard your midwife at the other end of the line.
“Claire, hello. Hope I did not wake you, but it seems it’s finally time, Y/N ‘s water has broken.” she said into the phone, not once taking her eyes off of you. “Thank you, lovely. Thanks!”
“You know, a cup of tea would be nice.”
You don’t really remember how did you get here, or how much time has passed since the phone call, but you were lying on your shared bed after a rather heated argument with Larissa about how you don’t want to ruin the covers but she insisted on you being the most comfortable you could in this situation, so you gave up and allowed her to help you on the bed. Meanwhile Larissa was quite overwhelmed with the fact that you are going to birth a literal baby, her baby, your baby and you are going to be a family finally. She was so excited about it up until now, when she heard your quiet profanities and the glistening sweat on your forehead, starting to damp your hair. She was scared, no, petrified that the baby is going to get hurt, or worse, you. She wouldn’t be able to live without you, she was picturing the worst scenarios in her head, having to raise your child alone, without you by her side. She wasn’t able to do that, you were the motherly type in this relationship, she was just the utterly lucky fool who got chosen by you, as an angel sent from heaven, and now you were going to push your child out of your vagina, a rather painful and traumatic experience. To Larissa, for sure. She felt dizzy, she got hot and she wanted to throw up, having no knowledge in childbirth.
“Larissa, are you with us, dear?” she heard Claire say and suddenly looked up, realizing that by now, you were in incredible pain, crying your heart out, maybe even already pushed a few. You were looking at Larissa, begging with your eyes to hold your hand or your hair or something. Begging her to be there. “She needs you.” the midwife whispered to Larissa, smiling faintly.
“Lar-Larissa, I-” you abruptly stopped, feeling another contraction coming, making you scream out in pain. “I can’t do this without you. Please”
Larissa grabbed your hand, brushing your sweaty hair out of your face, kissing your forehead.
“I’m here darling, I’m so sorry.” she whispered into your ear, and you finally, finally relaxed a bit, fresh tears streaming down your face.
“You are doing amazing Y/N, just a few more pushes I promise.” Claire said to you, and you gave her the faintest smile that night, taking a deep breath, waiting for the next contraction.
“Can-can Larissa sit behind me in the bed, may-maybe?” you stuttered, desperately wanting to be held by your wife.
“Of course.” The midwife gestured Larissa to sit behind you and she did so, holding you close, massaging your temples and whispering sweet nothings until the awaited contraction came, earning a murderous scream from you and your wife held you even tighter, kissing your face every now and then for comfort.
“Oh, God! Fucking hell!”
“You are the most amazing woman in my life Y/N. So strong and so beautiful. The best mother I will ever know in this life.” Larissa whispered, making you cry even more.
“Larissa stop, I’ve been crying for so long that by now I’m eating my snot and I’m all sweaty and smelly, and I’m just screaming, I know you don’t like when I raise my voice and I promise I tried at the first few pushes but, hell, this is worst than anything I’ve ever experienced in my life.” you said, voice a little panicked but your wife just grabbed a clean wet towel and started wiping your face then combed your hair a little with her fingers.
“Eating snot or not, you are amazing. And our baby is going to be the most beautiful in the whole World.” Larissa’s words almost made you forget why you were eating your snot in the first place but then another contraction came, making you feel like you are being ripped in half, making you so vulnerable you could only yell and scream in agony.
“Okay Y/N, one last push and she’s out.” Claire smiled and Larissa’s eyes widened at the revelation of the gender of your baby.
“She?” you cried out, wanting to talk a little more about the matter but you were unable as the last contraction came, making both you and your wife scream. Suddenly you felt a huge wave of relief washing over you. Smiling, you looked at Larissa, who kissed you tenderly, only breaking apart when you finally heard the shrill cries of your newborn daughter. You both looked at Claire, who was holding the tiny human in her hands.
“She’s beautiful and healthy, just like her mommies.” she smiled, handing you the baby and you heard Larissa gasp above you, her hand gently laying next to the baby, afraid to touch her.
“Aren’t you gonna touch your daughter, Mommy?” you asked her, grinning heard in your voice but she didn’t comment on it, like she usually would, she just ran her hands over her daughters thick hair carefully.
“I think I am going to faint” you heard Larissa whisper, her hold loosening around you.
“LARISSA, NO-”
A few hours later, early in the morning, around 6am, you got up to get a cup of water from the kitchen when your phone buzzed on the counter. You quickly grabbed it, a message from Wednesday appearing on it. Odd, you thought.
‘Heard you gave birth. Literally. Congratulations.’
You chuckled to yourself, typing a quick reply to the girl.
‘Indeed I did. Thank you. But you should be aware that it was the type of pain even you wouldn’t enjoy Ms. Addams, nevertheless, thank you for your kind words.’
‘Bet you are just exaggerating as the fragile human you are Ms. Y/N.’
You smiled, not replying to the raven haired girl, instead you finished your water and returned to your bedroom where you were beyond surprised to see your wife sleeping on her back, an occurrence that rarely happens, with your daughter on her chest, her arms protectively around the infant. You let out a happy sigh as you climbed back next to her, careful not to wake them. Pulling the covers over your body, you just watched them for a while, thinking about the amount of happiness you felt, which was unknown to you. Up until now.

Hello Author!! I've read a lot of your fics and I love your work!! Even though I would like the roles to be reversed from time to time, it's always up to Weems to take care of others a little bit.Return of the elevator (return the device if the English do not have the same expression as the French, or perhaps the translation will be understandable 😅) I think it would be a nice idea To work, But that's not the reason for my presence here, I read in one of your fictions, I no longer have the title in mind but it's when the reader is tired and weems takes care of him, you mentioned From a difficult student for whom the baby monitor is useful, I have a question, what is the use of the baby monitor? Is it like a camera with microphone to see and speak with the student if she Is busy elsewhere? I really can't imagine what use this is for him but hey my request is a story about why wednesday ended up sleeping at weems and how the baby monitor Has been used ? I'm really very, very curious about this situation, thank you for reading, have a good day, author!
The Baby Monitor
Pairings: Ms Thornhill x Weems x Wednesday (platonic)
Word count: 1.9K
Summary: Wednesday has been too busy to listen to what she needs. Sooner or later, she is forced to listen.
TW: passing out, not eating, not sleeping, illness
A/n another Wednesday fic!
“Wednesday come on, you have to eat. I know this investigation means a lot to you, but you need to take care of yourself, or you’ll be useless.” Enid begged.
“Im so close. I can feel it. Enid, go to lunch I will join you soon.”
“This is the third day you haven’t shown up to meals wends you can’t keep doing this.” Enid frowned before huffing and storming out of the dorm.
Enid was at the end of her patience. Wednesday had been working non-stop for days. She hadn’t been eating properly or sleeping, but because her grades stayed the same nobody else really seemed to notice too much. Enid was considering going to weems about the issue. If there was one person who could tame the addams it was her. Since all of the drama last semester Wednesday had been slightly more accommodating to the British principle. But that wasn’t to say she would listen to her without a fight.
Lunch came and went with no sign of Wednesday at all. They both had botany after lunch and despite all the fuss Wednesday was yet to skip any of her classes. She probably knew it would warrant a trip to weems. After all the issues with Ms Thornhill were cleared up, she was back to her old self, the bubbly easygoing botanist and dorm mum they all knew and loved.
Enid sighed in defeat and gathered her things. She disposed of her lunch scraps and tray and shouldered her bag, heading off in the direction of the conservatory.
Taking her seat, she watched Wednesday enter. She seemed slightly off kilter. Mildly sluggish and more pale than normal. She was squinting as if the light hurt her eyes and yet she almost seemed as if she was sick and downplaying it. Enid wouldn’t be surprised with how little sleep she had been having. Even an addams body was more susceptible to illness when run down. Wednesday flopped down in her seat without her usual poise or grace. Enid raised a brow, she looked much worse than she had in the dorm. The trip to class seemed to have sucked the life out of her.
Slouching in her seat she rested her head on her folded arms on the desk. Before she knew it enid realised Wednesday’s breathing had evened out slightly. But her sleep was short lived. Ms Thornhill called on the raven to come solve some questions on the board.
Wednesday lifted her head wearily and glared.
“Now Miss Addams.” Thornhill said tapping her foot impatiently. Wednesday gave a tired sigh and stood, swaying. After slowly making her way to the front one step at a time, she swayed badly. Ms Thornhill came to her side. Putting a hand on her shoulder.
“Wednesday? Wednesday, what’s wrong honey?” She asked but the words were garbled to the young Addams. Her eyes rolled back in her head and her body dropped like a stone. Ms Thornhill was quick to catch her in her arms. Slowly she sank to the floor, lowering herself and her student to lean against the wall. She sat against the front of the room with Wednesday tightly in her hold and mostly draped across her lap, unconscious.
“Enid.” Ms Thornhill said in an urgent voice. “Get Ms Weems in here this instant. The rest of you wait outside. Now!” She said as she kept her tight hold on the addams. She looked so peaceful yet so tired even while she was unconscious.
The class scrambled to carry out the instructions. Ms Thornhill knew the nurses were away for a conference, Ms Weems had sent a staff wide email that morning about it. She had said if any issues arose to contact her directly. This defiantly counted as an issue.
Ms Thornhill sat and waited. Wednesday’s head was in her lap as she traced her fingers over her pale face to remove the small hairs from her face.
After a few peaceful moments of quiet the door opened.
“Marilyn?” Came the accented voice of the principle.
“Im here. Shes still out cold.” The botanist responded.
A moment lapsed before Ms Weems face appeared over the desk and she came around to join her staff member on the floor.
She laid a gentle hand on Wednesdays forehead. “She seems a bit warm. Do you know if she felt ill at all?” The principle asked with concern.
“Not that i know of but she seemed exhausted.”
A tentative knock sounded on the door and both teachers turned to see enid standing there awkwardly.
“Ms sinclair? Do you have something to say?” Ms weems asked with a raised brow.
“She hasn’t been sleeping. Shes been too busy with her investigations and i don’t think shes eaten either. It’s been about four days and she’s not taking care of herself. I’ve been trying to get her to listen and i was going to come to you this afternoon, honest. I didn’t know it was this bad or i would have done more sooner.” Enid said talking a mile a minute and wringing her hands.
Weems brow softened. “Thank you, Enid. We’ll take it from here. You’ve been more helpful than you realise. You're a good friend.”
Enid nodded and left again.
“Well, she doesn’t look like she’s waking up anytime soon and it seems she’ll be in need of close care for a while. I’ll take her to my quarters for her recovery. She would simply escape if she was left in the infirmary. I won't be surprised if her fever is the beginnings of an illness from a weakened immune system. Most likely from lack of sleep. I’ll take her off your hands Marilyn.” Ms Weems said and smiled.
“I’ll drop by after class.” She said and gently slipped her arms under the addams girl and passed her limp from to Weems.
Weems stood up straight and propped Wednesday’s form up so her head rested in the crook of the headmistresses' elbow, with her other arm supporting her legs.
The principle expressed her thanks and swiftly and fluidly swept from the room, ignoring the looks from her students as she walked to her office with the addams unconscious in her arms, looking pale and sickly.
After making it into the haven of her office she gently set Wednesday down on the couch so she could set up the spare bed for her before she woke up.
Rooting around in one of the spare drawers she found what she was looking for. A small plastic white device that had been left in storage by the previous Principle. A baby monitor. No way was she leaving the addams without being able to monitor her closely. She set the device down on her desk near Wednesday, she took its counterpart with her to set up the room.
After she had finished wrestling with the fitted sheet, she threw on the final covers. Just as she begun tucking in the top sheet, she heard rustling on the monitor. Swearing softly, she hurried from the room back to her office.
As she arrived, she saw Wednesday stand up, bracing herself on the back of the couch to stay upright as she tried to escape. Weems crossed her arms.
“Miss addams! Where do you think you’re going?!” She said and her resolve softened as she noticed the glassy look in her students' eyes. In hurried steps she came over to the young troublemaker who looked at her blankly.
She placed a tender hand to her forehead before moving to her cheek.
“Your fever has risen.” She said, smoothing down her dress. “No matter, we will deal with it. Come now.” She said and grabbed the monitor before guiding Wednesday by the elbow to the room. The raven walked on wobbly legs and uneven steps from a few paced before weems simply scooped her into her strong arms.
“Ms weems!” Wednesday mumbled in protest, her eyes drifting closed as she leant into the headmistress who hummed in a mild concern.
“Come now Wednesday, you can barely stand. To bed with you. I’ll have the cook bring some light food and we’ll get some medicine into you. And in future don’t be so difficult. If you need help with anything, simply ask my darling. We don’t need this to happen again you stubborn girl.” She scolded laying Wednesday down in the bed before tucking her in. Wednesday simply hummed weakly in response making Weems frown.
“Rest now darling. I’ll contact the chef.” She said and set down the monitor on the bedside. Wednesday opened an eye to glare at it.
“I don’t need that.” She said closing her eyes again.
“Wednesday addams, you will remain here until i see fit. Whilst you remain in my care you will keep that monitor on and in the room. Break it and spend a week in detention for destruction of school property.” She lectured before softening slightly. “Im here to help you, don’t be so stubborn. If you would rather have your mother look after you that can be arranged. And I’m sure she will be far more doting than i.” She said and smiled down at Wednesday, who grunted and rolled over.
“No.” She huffed.
“Goodnight darling I’ll be back soon. Rest up.” She said and left.
After contacting the cook the make Wednesday a light chicken noodle soup she grabbed her laptop and came to sit by Wednesday's bedside while she worked.
After a while she heard a knock and went to get the food from the cook. Gently she woke up Wednesday who pouted which was borderline cute with her pink flushed cheeks and nose. Weems frowned at the glassy look in her eyes and lifted a glass to her lips.
“Drink.” She instructed and Wednesday glared before greedily gulping down the water.
“Not so fast darling, leave some to take your medicine.” Weems said and handed Wednesday two small white tablets. Wednesday glared at them but took them before weems lifted the spoon to her lips. Wednesday drew the line there, taking the spoon from weems. But her hands shook, and no soup stayed on the spoon. Weems gently took the spoon back and Wednesday relented.
“Let me darling.” She said and Wednesday allowed the headmistress to spoon feed her the broth like a child. After she had eaten Weems insisted, she rests some more as she settled the Addams back into the nest she had established. As she rested once more Weems gently typed out some important emails on her computer, still sat on the bed with her legs up and lent against the headboard. She had promised Mortica she would look after the young addams and that was exactly what she planned to do. She was learning a fair bit about Wednesday. For example, she was quiet the cuddler in her sleep Weems realised as her leg was trapped by Wednesday who had curled into her side and wrapped her pale arms around Weems thigh. Weems smiled down at the sleeping girl and drew slow circles on her back as she slept.
Weems may not have ever had children, but she loved Wednesday like her own even if she wasn’t able to show it often, she cared for her. And she would make sure Wednesday was well enough soon to receive the lecture of her life.

Hiya, hope you’re doing well. Just wanted you to know that I love your writing and that it’s gotten me through a lot in the past couple of weeks- my little brother passed away 3 days before Christmas and your platonic/comfort posts have helped me feel better, even just for a few minutes.
If you feel up to it, may I request some fluffy-angst with motherly Larissa and a student reader who had to leave school for a little while due to losing an important family member? Maybe when they return, they try to act like nothing happened (fake smiles, downplaying their emotions, throwing themselves into their school work, etc) when really they’re falling apart? Maybe Larissa is the only one to really see right through the act and all she wants to do is hold and comfort her struggling kid when she confronts them?
… I may or may not be basing this off of my own issues, but like I said, your writing brings me happiness and I need all the comfort I can get right now. Thank you for doing what you do.
Talk to Me
Larissa Weems x Student!Reader
Authors Note: I hope that you are surrounded by love right now anon. I put as much love and care into this as I could. You are so loved!
Tumblr media
It was a Saturday at Nevermore and you sat getting a head-start on homework that wasn’t due for another two weeks. You were ready to do anything as long as it didn’t relate to your family or the loss you felt. You stopped what you were doing when a shadow fell over you. You glance up and it was none other than Principal Weems
“Let’s go for a walk, shall we?” Her smile seemed kind, but you knew that students only took walks with Principal Weems when something was wrong. You nod, closing your math textbook and depositing it back into your book-bag. You sling the bag over your shoulder and glance at her to lead the way.
Together you begin walking towards the greenhouses, which then led out to the gardens. She talked to you about meaningless thing like classwork and other weekend plans. You wondered what her true intent was.
It was when you were seated side by side on a bench in the gardens that she finally confronted you about her worries, “It’s been a couple weeks since you returned… I’m worried about you, dear.”
“I don’t know what you mean.” You lied. This wasn’t something you wanted to talk about, but Principal Weems pushed onward.
“That’s not true. Now, I can’t imagine what you are going through, but I’m worried about you. You came back and you seem like you are just fine, but… Are you really?” Her words cut so deep. You felt the tears prick at your eyes. This wasn’t something you wanted to do today.
You shrug, feeling the tears spill over onto your cheeks. As soon as Principal Weems saw your tears, she enveloped you into a hug. She smelled of orange blossom and tea and the rise and fall of her chest was so soothing.
Now that she was hugging you, you let yourself go, crying as you needed. She held you there stroking your hair and rubbing your back, “Yes… Let it all out, dear.”
Her hug was so warm and strong. It was beyond comforting, even if it was just for these few minutes. Your tears were staining her jacket, but she didn’t care. Finally, you turn your face so your your ear rests against her chest, and her hand comes up to your face, gently stroking your cheek.
She let you stay there in her grasp until you began to pull away. When you did her hands moved up to your face, wiping some of the tears with her thumbs, “Feels good to cry doesn’t it?”
You no, moving your own hand up to your face to wipe away the tears. She drops her hands to hold onto your free hand, her voice was so gentle and sincere, “Will you tell me about them? Tell me about their favorite things and your favorite memories of them?”

Bark, Bite & Break Bones - Tyler Galpin x Van Helsing!reader | Prologue
Warnings: swearing
A/N: You had my motherly reader (‘There shall be night’ series), the torn apart but still faithful to her heart reader (‘Terrible things’ series), the hopelessly forgiving and in love reader (‘Bloodied petals’ series), now met the fed up sarcastic reader, my lovely feral baby krkrkrkr
[Masterlist]
Tumblr media
The sweet sound of bars rattling pulled you out of sleep as usual. With an inelegant groan, you rolled on your back over the hard surface beneath you. Another bang on the steel bars ringed in your ears, soon followed by the rough voice of the keeper.
“Wake up in there! Someone’s here to see you!”
A dry chuckle escaped your lips as you tried to cover your eyes from the blinding raw light of the corridor’s neon. After two years you thought that you were finally immune to its inconvenient presence; you weren’t. On the other side of the bars, the keeper got impatient.
“You’re deaf or something? Get the fuck up, you’re expected!”
This time it was a laugh that left your throat, as you lazily got into a sitting position on the uncomfortable steel bed.
“And pray tell,” you asked with a lopsided grin, “who exactly wants to see me?”
You got your answer a couple of minutes later. Two officers on each side of you led you by the arms, given your hands and ankles were cuffed – as procedure asked. The heavy door of the private visit room opened and you squeezed your eyes a little due to the intense light coming from the large window. When you blinked away and focused again, you couldn’t help but grin at the blonde woman sitting on the other side of the table. The perfect and classy outfit and heels she wore contrasted to your dirty green inmate ensemble. As the guardians made you sit on the opposite and secured your cuffs on the table, you didn’t lose your amused smile.
“That’ll be all, thank you,” said the tall woman to the officers, “leave us please.”
They nodded in agreement and left, the sound of the door shutting echoing in the room. If your grin didn’t stop to grow in amusement, the woman stared right back at you with very serious eyes.
“Well, well, well,” you said with a mocking whistle, “aren’t you quite healthy-looking for a dead woman, Mrs Weems?”
The principal of Nevermore academy pursed her lips in annoyance, and smoothed the nonexistent wrinkles on her perfectly pressed outfit. “I see you’re doing well here,” she said simply.
Holding your wrists up to show the chains binding them you gave her another impertinent smile, “Got some new jewelry, how could I complain? Not sure if that’s the latest fashion though, I don’t exactly follow the trends outside of this lovely establishment.”
“Yet you have been aware of my…supposed passing,” she observed sharply.
You snorted in irony, “Death is a social construct. And I like to keep myself informed about the latest Nevermore’s gossip, it’s kind of my job.”
It was Weems’ turn to smirk at your words this time, “Except it isn’t your job, isn’t it? That is why you’re jailed here.”
Your face darkened at her statement and you lost your insolent grin. “It’s always my job,” you growled at her. “It’s convenient for you, after all? Explain why I’m here without getting your hands dirty.”
“I do believe it has been officially stated that neither I nor Nevermore academy has anything to do with your conviction,” she argued back calmly.
You tsked, knowing she was right. In the eyes of the law, you owed your place in juvie to your own faults. But both of you knew it was more complicated than that.
Leaning back on your chair in a laid-back attitude, you cocked your head to the side.
“So, why am I honored with your gracious presence?” you asked, a lingering mockery never far in your voice. You could almost hear Weems roll her eyes in her mind.
“I’m here on the judge’s request,” she said.
“And who’s really requesting it?” you immediately asked, only to let out a snort at her raised eyebrow, “C’mon Weems, I’ve been sentenced for 5 years in this lovely shit-hole, and everyone made sure to ‘mysteriously’ forget about asking for parole. What’s with the sudden change of heart?”
Larissa Weems seemed hesitant for a moment, then leaned her forearms on the table, hands gripped together.
“I assume you have heard about the events that occurred at Nevermore six months ago?”
“Ah!” you snorted loudly with a laugh, “yeah I did. Not everything though, my sources were kinda evasive about most of it, but I got that it was a pretty messed up situation right?”
She pressed her lips into a thin line, visibly upset by the mention of those events; but you weren’t over with the teasing, and as she kept silent the pieces linked together in your head and your grin in disbelief.
“You need me,” you cooed, even more delighted when Weems looked away in uneasiness, confirming your theory. “Ooooh that’s precious, you actually do need little old me.”
“In the light of recent events it had appeared that you could be…useful to Nevermore academy,” she explained carefully, trying to ignore the evident thrill you got from this conversation.
“Mmmmh, you need a watchdog,” you completed casually. “I wonder what for?”
The principal pulled a folder from her bag and slid it in your direction.
“The young man responsible for the murders in Jericho had been judged and sentenced for some time in prison, after what he is legally required to be reinserted into society,” said Weems as you opened the file and went through some pages, with police records, psychological expertises and some pictures of a boy, around your age, with curly brown hair and freckles. Tyler Galpin, according to the files.
“Cute for a murderer,” you said casually, ignoring the judgemental look the principal gave you. “Still I don’t get what it has to do with me.”
Weems cleared her throat, “The court deemed fitting for him to be reinserted as a student at Nevermore Academy. They trust us to help him control his particular…condition.”
“Enough with beating around the bush,” you rolled your eyes at her, “what is he?”
The blonde woman took a deep breath, “He’s a Hyde.”
That definitely surprised you, “No shit?” you blurted with a raised eyebrow, and Weems didn’t even scold your crude language at this. Instead, she nodded.
“Given what happened, we didn’t have much choice but accept the court’s decision,” she said bitterly, “and he’s an outcast too, I ethically can’t refuse him joining the academy.”
“Mmmh, that’s really sweet and all, but last I remember I’ve done my time at Nevermore,” you argued wittily.
Weems gave you a knowing smirk that was up to no good, “Last I remember, you never graduated properly. You still have to pass exams to actually be a Nevermore graduate.”
You let out a scoff, “What, that’s your argument? Playing the diploma card? You do realize I don’t give two shits about it, right?”
“Yes, but what if this could be your way out of prison?” she said with a sugary voice, laced with underlying intentions. At your frown, she knew she had your entire attention, so she carried on. “The school board had suggested that you could reintegrate Nevermore academy to look after Mr Galpin during the school year, and prevent some possible…unwanted outbursts.”
It made you snort, “You want me to babysit him basically. Why would I ever agree?”
Principal Weems pulled another piece of paper from her bag and handed it to you.
“The board had managed to reach an agreement with the judge,” she explained as your eyes skimmed over the official and fancy-looking document, “If you complete your mission of keeping Mr Galpin out of trouble and graduate at the end of the school year, you won’t have to make the three remaining years in incarceration.”
You looked up with eyes wide, surprised by the fact the school board had actually succeeded at making such a deal. After all, you weren’t exactly their favorite person.
“And if I fail?”
Weems smiled sweetly at you.
“Well, should he lose control and be neutralized with or without your help, you’ll come back to this lovely place. But we all know you won’t fail, won’t you?”
Her words made you grin. The political motives behind all those decisions were evident, but given you had nothing better to do, this could be an unexpected way out. Still, there was something more you wanted to hear from Weems.
“Oh I won’t? I wonder what makes you so sure of that,” you ironized with a grin.
Weems sighed at your bratty behavior, knowing you were playing dumb, “You’re as aware of your pedigree as I am.”
“Yeah but it’ll be sooooo much more pleasant to hear it from you.”
She held your gaze for a few seconds before giving up and exhaling loudly, “You’re far the most qualified person in hunting a monster, that’s why.”
A delighted grin stretched your lips, and you held out one of your handcuffed hands to her.
“Well Principal Weems, you got yourself a deal.”
Shaking your hand firmly, she gave you a knowing smile.
“Welcome back to Nevermore Academy Miss Van Helsing.”

Breaking - Larissa Weems x Reader
so so so sorry that this has been a few days! Life has been difficult

Warnings: mental health issues
Tumblr media
You couldn’t remember the last time you were really happy. It had been a long, long time since. Every morning you woke up and wished you hadn’t. It had gotten to the point where you were contemplating just leaving. You wanted to run away from life. You were no longer happy anymore. You weren’t even too sure when it had all started, if you were being completely honest. Well, you were at Nevermore for a reason. You needed an escape from your home, and Nevermore turned out to be the right place for just that. An escape.
The one good thing your parents did for you was send you off to Nevermore Academy. For the first two years, you had easily made friends, you were well liked amongst your peers. You did wonderfully in all your classes, and your teachers had nothing but positive things to say about you.
So then why did you feel so damn shitty? It’s like nothing made you happy anymore. It’s like you had absolutely no energy for anything anymore. Just waking up was a challenge in on its own. You rarely attended your classes, and when you did, it was clear that you were zoning out. Your Botanist teacher, Ms. Thornhill, had brought her concerns to Larissa’s attention. And Larissa’s worry for you was starting to grow. You were one of her top students. She cared for all of you equally, but to know that one of her top students was struggling, was tough.
She walked down the hall to your dorm room and knocked. She heard nothing and frowned before knocking on the door again.
Silence.
Worry started to take over Larissa’s body and mind. Classes were in session. If you weren’t in class and you weren’t in your dorm, where could you possibly be?
Larissa twisted the door knob, pushing the door open to see an empty room. She was starting to panic a bit more when she saw just how messy your side of the room was. It was clearer than ever to her now that you were struggling. That you had been struggling for a while, now.
She looked around, nearly giving up looking for you in your dorm, when she saw the window to the roof/terrace had been open. She walked out, hearing you mumble to yourself.
“Not good enough. It’s too much. Too much. Too much.” you mumbled to yourself. You were sitting on the roof with your knees up to your chest, your arms wrapped around them and your head on your legs. You always came out here when you felt like you couldn’t breathe. The fresh air usually helped, but you were struggling to take a full breath. Seeing you like this broke Larissa’s heart completely. She stepped out onto the roof with you and moved to crouch down next to you. “Darling?” she asked.
You had been aware of her presence since her first knock on the door, but you were so deep into your own head, that you didn’t bother standing up and letting her in. “I’m sorry. You shouldn’t have to see me like this.” you mumbled against your legs, keeping your face hidden from her.
She gently placed her hand on your back, rubbing small circles. “Oh honey, don’t apologise. You’re entitled to feel like this.” she said to you. Your crying started to subside at her words. She always had such a motherly aura to her. You were always drawn towards her. That was part of the reason why you tried so hard in school, to get on her radar. To obtain her attention. She was the mother you wanted. Instead, you got stuck with someone who constantly tore you down. “Care to tell me what's been making you so down these last few months?” she asked you, pulling you into her arms. And you let her.
“I don’t even know. I just don’t think I can keep on doing this anymore. It’s too hard. Everything is too much.” you started, moving to hide your face by her shoulder. “I have no energy anymore for anything. And I don’t want the school year to end.” you added. “I don’t.. I don’t want to go back home.” you said softly against her.
“Oh my sweet angel.” she said softly, rubbing your back. Your breathing had gone back to normal. “It’s only two months, and then you’ll be right back here, okay?” she said to you. You gave a small nod. “I know. I just wish I could stay here with you instead.” you whispered softly.
She thought for a moment. “Well, there are students who sign up for those summer volunteer jobs in the little town. They stay here on campus with myself and the few teachers who stay on campus for the two months.” she said. “If you really don’t want to leave, the program is something we could look into.” she offered. You wrapped your arms around Larissa tightly. “Thank you.” you said softly. She smiled down at you and kissed the top of your head. “Anytime, darling.” she said. “But please, don’t stop pushing. Because we need you here. I need you here.”
