A floppy haired blonde boy chuckled as he hoisted himself out of the freezing water and on the giant wooden door.

"I told you there was room." Like a wet dog he shook his head, water spraying across the girls face. She scooted to the side of the floating door, their only source of refuge from the dark icy water below. She sat, knit her brows together and tried to speak.

"Shhhh, it's okay. We're together again."

The boy, who she recognized now as young Leonardo DiCaprio, scooted closer to her. How big was this door exactly? Why did he have tentacles for legs?

It didn't matter, this was young Leonardo DiCaprio, nay, this was Jack Dawson.

The door seemed to grow under them, now the size of a small sail boat.

"Jack, will we ever be saved?" She asked, her voice no more than a whisper.

Jack Dawson looked at her with his steel blue eyes from underneath his golden tendrils of hair. When did his hair grow to touch his shoulders?

There was no time for questions, pirates could be seen in the distance and this half-man half-tentacled creature that was Jack Dawson had a plan.

"Quickly, before they reach us!" He smashed his cold lips up on hers. It was a cold and impressively wet kiss. Not all together unpleasant but not the most inviting either. His hands drifted to her chest. Jack sighed happily as he fumbled with her breasts. She imagined it was how the dough felt when it was being kneaded into bread.

His tentacle legs slithered around her legs pushing them up and open. Her frilly victorian nightgown falling around her hips.

She felt heat radiate between her thighs, excited. A single writhing tentacle wriggled between her legs.

*Beep beep beep beep*

Eyes still shut tight, Perry slapped the bed in search of the solid rectangle emitting the ghastly alarm. The phone was nearly halfway across the bed crumpled inside her blanket. Squinting, Perry dismissed the alarm.

"Okay okay...you can do this." The words of self encouragement, though well meaning, hung empty in the quiet room. About twenty minutes later Perry hauled herself from bed. Another thirty minutes passed and she stood leaning across her kitchen counter flicking through Instagram reels.

A person doing a tour of their insanely decorated home was holding an old 90's themed picture frame. "I don't know what I'll put in this.....maybe a picture of young Leonardo DiCaprio....a lesbians dream girl "

Perry chuckled. She gave the video a heart before scrolling through other reels. Something about foraging mushrooms, a funny cat video, a girl getting ready with sponsored makeup brands, a hot lumberjack lady cutting wood, a skinny boy in an oversized T-shirt and Bass Pro Shops hat playing a guitar.

Perry clunked the phone down, took a sip of her room temperature coffee, and rubbed her face. It was time for work.

She didn't dislike her job, it was just, work you know? Who actually likes doing the same exact thing over and over and over and over and over and.....you get it.

But at least she could think of young Leonardo DiCaprio and his Jack Dawson octo-boy look alike and chuckle to herself.

First off, I love empyrean weeping and have been obssesed with it since you started!

Since in canon Draxum seemed surprised to find the turtles survived, how(and when) did ew Draxum reacted to the discovery his remaining creations are alive? Did it affect Three and Vee?

Sorry if youve talked about this before, have a good day!

Draxum saw Mikey with Big Mama first, since he made deals with her often. She kept Mikey in the lime light, but it wasn’t like Draxum was going to any fancy parties. So it was a while before he stumbled upon Mikey—around when Three was 13. Draxum was NOT happy, and Three had a……rough day when Draxum stormed through the door. Draxum knew he couldn’t take on Big Mama, so he started to scheme. He was actually the one who gave Big Mama the idea of putting Mikey in the Nexus. She scoffed at first, and played the doting mother, but always kept the idea at the back of her mind.

A few years later, when she did get tired of Mikey, she figured she’d put the idea in motion, and make some money. Her and Draxum stuck a deal. She needed a body guard, and he wanted a strong warrior out of Mikey. Draxum basically gifted Venus to Big Mama, with the promise that he’d be getting Michelangelo, after his popularity in the Nexus ran its course. Draxum constantly used the threat of hurting Mikey against Three—even if Three didn’t know they were empty, he always had Mikey’s safety on his mind.

Draxum found out Leonardo was in the Foot Clan when he went to talk with the Shredder about starting an exchange—Empyrean for money and a possible alliance. He was disgusted to work with a human, but Draxum sees a good portion of the recruits in the Foot are yokai he could possibly win over to his cause, and an alliance would allow Draxum to keep an closer eye on Leonardo. He tasked Three with joining him on his meetings, to try and get Leo on their side, but every time Three failed to make any headway, it was just another excuse for Draxum to be disappointed in him.

And as we know from the comic, Venus is the one who told Draxum about Raph being with Splinter, and how they both took Mikey from Big Mama.

Three was always conflicted, about the thought of having his brothers around, because he wants to be with them, but he also doesn’t want them to be subjected to all the horrible things he’s been subjected to. However, he also knows that if they were to join them, there’s the chance that Draxum wouldn’t treat them the same way he gets treated. They’re not failures like him, and they would likely get favored like Venus is.

As long as Donatello could remember, he and Leonardo always had this… connection.

He couldn’t describe it (he had a hard time describing things he couldn’t see), but it was this feeling he and his brother shared, one they didn’t share with Raph or Mikey.

They always knew when something was wrong, when the other was hurt, exactly how the other was feeling.

Donnie remembers a time when they all played hide and seek. Leo was it, and he had decided to hide in a small, enclosed space, thinking he wouldn’t be in there long. He had overestimated Leo’s finding ability, and had begun to panic, hyperventilating and his vision going blurry. But right before he completely lost it, Leo had found him, said he just knew where he was because of how scared Donnie had felt.

That had been the longest 4 minutes and 28 seconds of his life.

It always felt like there was a link, a string connecting the two like a thread. Donnie had noticed that it grew stronger once they unlocked their ninpo.

The connection had always given him comfort, made him feel like no matter what, Leo always understood him. That he was never alone.

… When he felt the connection break, he thought his heart stopped.

He watched as the Kraangs’ ship- the Technodrome- shatter into pieces as the portal closed, locking the Kraang- and his twin- inside for eternity.

He didn’t hear the pieces fall, didn’t hear the sound of April or Splinter crying over the comms, didn’t hear Raph collapse in a heap.

He just stopped, and stared.

His cheek felt wet… he didn’t know why.

Oh.

He was crying.

He felt his chest tighten, everything around him suddenly becoming too loud and too quiet all at the same time. He couldn’t think, couldn’t breathe, couldn’t feel.

But he knew he had to calm down.

What did Leo tell him to do?

Right. Count the time.

1… 2… 3… 4…

He sees Raph, on the ground, crying for his little brother.

9… 10… 11… 12…

The pieces of the Technodrome falling around him, narrowly missing him and his brothers.

17… 18… 19… 20…

He keeps counting, he can’t stop counting. Even as Mikey tries, once again, to use his supposed mystic hands, even when Raph says it’s over.

Even when Mikey does open the portal, and he rushes to stand by his little brother’s side, he doesn’t speak, because he has to keep counting.

He sees his brother, floating limply through the prison dimension, Kraang Prime scrambling to grab Leonardo. Rage fills his very being, and as he fires the drill at the Kraang, he screams the numbers in his head.

The portal closes, Raphael holding Leo’s body in his arms. His twin, his brother… his best friend.

“… Ew, are we in Staten Island?”

The connection sparks to life again, as if Donnie had been struck by lightning. And he knows Leo feels it too, his eyes widening ever so slightly. And then he and his brothers are hugging, his twin is breathing, everyone is… mostly okay, alive at least, and Donatello couldn’t be happier.

That had been the longest 4 minutes and 28 seconds of his life.

And just like last time, the twins had found each other.

April’s full name is April Alyssa O’Neil.

The turtles don’t have middle names. Being from Japan, where middle names are rare and not legally recognized except for foreigners, Splinter didn’t even consider the notion of giving the boys middle names. So, they were pretty surprised by the concept. Especially when April told them that when her mom uses her full name, it usually means she’s in trouble.

The upshot of this is that the boys have started giving each other random middle names when they’re annoyed at each other.

Rise! Turtles with Sick S/O Headcanons

So, since I am fighting for my life against mono (yet again), I wanted to write out some headcanons on how I think the Rise! boys would care for their sick S/O. Just a silly little list, but I hope ya'll enjoy!

Raphael

Look, he loves you with all his heart and will go to the ends of the earth if it would make you feel better

Will make darn sure you don't overexert yourself

Unfortunately this means that he will literally not let you get out of bed and insists on doing everything himself

Which can get a tad annoying, but his heart is in the right place

"Why aren't you in bed?", "Raph, babe, please I need to pee. No-stop! I don't need help, I can pee by myself!"

Will still hover outside the bathroom

Gives you so much water - wants to be sure you're getting enough fluids, bladder be damned

Out of meds? No problem - he will go to the drugstore at 4am to get you anything you might need

Leonardo

Will get you literally anything you need

Spoils you all the time already, but when you're sick? Oh boy, be prepared to be spoiled

However he will still find a way to tease/flirt in an effort to lift your spirits

“Hey, is it hot in here or is it just you?”, "Leo, my temperature is literally 100.4 F.", "Don't worry darling, I have the fire extinguisher ready in case you combust."

Having body aches? He's already drawn a warm bath with a few drops of eucalyptus oil with your name on it

Will also gently massage your body if it's super sore in some areas

Checks your temperature religiously while writing down everything in a little notebook to monitor how you're recovering

Expect to still get full on kisses on the mouth - he is not afraid to get sick too and suffer alongside you

Donatello

You bet your ass this man will show up in that hazmat suit from 'Down with the Sickness' to protect himself from getting sick

"Do you seriously have to wear that DeeDee?", "I love you, but the last thing I want is your germs invading my breathing space."

Will take it off if you're not contagious though

In the meantime, this man will try to narrow down exactly what you have contracted and help you accordingly

Knows exactly what meds to give you for any symptom as well as dosages

Because of this, be prepared for alarms to go off every hour or so

May or may not have invented a 'cure-all' pill when you had a really bad sick spell

It may have made things worse - still feels totally guilty about it and is still making it up to you years after the fact

Michelangelo

Makes you the best soup - the kind that is simmering on the stove for several hours and made with so much love

Best believe that if you're being stubborn about meds he will slip them into your food or drink

“Here, drink this.”, "Ew, do I have to? It tastes digusting.", "That means it's good for you, now drink it all sweetie."

Not above bringing out Dr. Delicate Touch if needed

Will make sure you are comfortable and will deadass try to cuddle your sickness away

Grabs all your blankets and pillows you own and will make a fort on your bed

Snuggles and forehead kisses galore

Lets you pick out what to watch together and makes no complaints
