see i don't even disagree w you, it's the specific jikook brand of omegaverse that is rly just an excuse to write straight romance undetected. like you can't convince me that if you replace jm and jk from the average jikook fic with a straight couple something would feel different. and please don't feel included in this because you know how to write a great plot and establish characters ok!!! actually i think i read a bakudeku fic once! it was superr popular and short i think? i tried reading some jujutsu kaisen ff and yeah there's some good stuff out there but nothing compares to the emotional attachment i have to bts so 😞 i need to fixate on something else asap❗
you would not believe. how many times i've tried answering this ask before i dissolve into Yapping. sorry. i have a lot of thoughts about the type of fic you're describing i really do. it's bothered me for a long time. my general thoughts are that. bts ao3 fic is a very short walk from wattpad band fic. so a lot of those sorts of people end up over here that dont have that Shame the rest of us nerds do who grew up writing cringey ass book and anime fic when we were teens that pushed us to experiment with writing in complete anonymity and write fucked up and shit stuff and we started Caring abt what we wrote. and also the wattpad band fic environment is so different to the ao3 m/m. but if you know a little grammar and you actually finish the fic the story just gets so unbelievably popular on its own.
that being said there are good fics still in bts jikook. i havent found them yet but i know they're in there. there's gotta be at least one brave soldier left fighting against swathes of people who probably unironically read colleen hoover for fun. there's gotta be. i refuse to live in a world where there isnt

I may not be an army anymore but the way antis use anything to come at bts and their brand and legacy screams of jealousy and envy and I’ll become a bts shooter in those moments, I feel like even if ur solo it’s important to separate ur dislike for bongo and ot6 for the bigger picture. These antis don’t like jm either and lump him with the shitting of the whole “hybe is evil brand and it’s started with bts” so idk how solos even defend it or think it’s justified to ever side with kpoppies when they are extra vile towards bts and jm specifically and have been historically and the k side isn’t any better even other hybe groups are trying to find ways to blame bts for everything.
Kpop stans have always envied BTS, especially these big 3 stans because they still believe they shouldn’t have been the ones to make it big.
And I honestly haven’t seen any pjms going against BTS in all of this. Like with my pjm list on twitter, it really solidified just how many pjms are ex armys because everybody keeps talking about how they basically reverted back momentarily to defend BTS lol. You wouldn’t have even thought they were ever solos with how they were riding for them. The most I’ve seen some do is wish that he would leave hybe but that’s just a normal day for them.
I think even with all the aversion we might have with what’s been going on and certain members, we still at least respect what BTS used to be and their legacy.

Usually I don't address these things on this account because I don't want to be bringing any negativity to your timeline, however with the things that have been going on on Twitter these past few days I feel like it's a need and a demand from me to speak up about the boys, support them and defend them in this difficult time. We all know what has been happening, what that woman has done, what that woman has said about the boys and did to them and we all have seen how once again Kpoppies and netizens have directed their attention and hate towards the boys for no reason at all! I'm completely disgusted and appalled by every single tweet, comment, hashtag and anything else I have seen on Twitter by all those people, I can't believe someone can stoop so low and actually support and justify that woman and the things she has said and done especially towards the boys! Once again A.R.M.Ys are left alone to defend, speak up and support the boys towards all this unnecessary hate, we are the only ones who can protect and defend the boys, their reputation and legacy! Remember this has happened in the past, they use the boys and create this hate and smear campaign against them to distract everyone from what is really happening, from the main issue and that woman! They're always the punching bag of that country but everyone will pay for this defamation and harrasment towards them! I can't wait for all these people to get sued! They think they can say whatever without any repercussions but they are in for a big surprise! Afterall we all know that Karma is an A.R.M.Y and BTS are always protected by the universe because they are good and kind people and in the end they're the winners. Everyone please keep reporting, blocking and sending to Hybe and Big Hit all the malicious tweets and comments you see! We can do this!
I have been an A.R.M.Y for 7 years, I will always be here to support, protect, speak up, stand by and love all the boys. I love them all with all my heart I only wish for them to be healthy, safe, happy and loved. None of them deserves this hate that has been thrown at them since their debut, I will never understand why they get treated this way. So please everyone support, defend, speak up, pray for our boys and love all 7 with all your heart. Thank you for listening to me. God please always protect and keep the boys healthy, safe, happy and loved🙏🏼

it seems like you and anon are still yet to figure out that tae has dug this hold for himself. he's not dating jungkook, he's dating jennie, and he messed up when he cared too much about ppl knowing that he's dating her by throwing her under the bus (when he pretended that the insta follow was accidental—which it was, but not bc she showed up in his recommendations, he was lurking on her account shortly after opening his own—and had armys ganging up on her in the comments) and he tried deflecting the fandom by mentioning jk a lot since he knows "armys would like that" (his own words but about him doing fan service with seokjin).
taehyung monitors army and he knows how popular taekook is in the fandom, and since it won't take much to distract tkkrs/army he started name dropping jungkook often when the taennie rumors were at their peak. he REALLY didn't want ppl to know he's been sleeping with the enemy. but alas.
also idk who decided on that paris date because it did look like a pr stunt but the relationship itself is not fake. imo i think it was either jennie who hired the pap bc she wants ppl to know she's dating V of BTS (who could blame her) or she managed to convince tae to soft launch their relationship but he was hesitant and backtracked after he saw the backlash. relationships are not perfect and no offense but jennie seems like a selfish person and a show-off and i hate that tae likes her but this is none of my business anyway. they've some really similar characteristics though (not necessarily bad things just stuff that i've observed over time after the rumors began) so it makes sense that they would date. i really hope they don't last though cause tae deserves someone with a better personality, someone nicer.
now that tae knows what kind of hole he had dug for himself, and he knows that name-dropping jungkook had blinks, kpoppies, and even jkkrs jumping him and calling him a coward he had to stop. he can still hang out with jungkook (and does!) since it doesn't translate badly to most people (except for insecure shippers) because taekook are friends. them hanging out or spending time together will never be the proof tkkrs want it to be, because there's nothing weird or out of the ordinary about their hang outs, especially when they've been consistently hanging within a friend group aka the wooga squad.
yeah yeah, tkkrs might be right about "the woogas adopted jk" thing or whatever, but who cares? it still means nothing romantic-wise for taekook. even all the name-dropping tae did had no romantic undertones to it but that pissed people off because jk was always singled out and constantly mentioned out of the blue on two minute lives for no clear reason AND it wasn't mutual on jk's end. it's the same situation with jk getting hated on by pjms because he keeps mentioning jimin when jimin seemingly doesn't care. but ofc jimin cares about jk, just like jk cares about tae, but the one-sided-ness of it all is causing issues between their groups of solos and shippers because "taehyung is obsessed with jungkook" but "jungkook is obsessed with jimin" and all the bs their solos spew.
taehyung's case is complicated because he now has blinks watching him and one wrong move from him that could potentially set jennie up will get him dragged to hell by her fans, and he doesn't want that especially now that he's promoting his album.
sometimes i feel like a lot of yall are really dense, and have no intuition at all. because what tae's has been up to this year is obvious as hell, he's actually pretty calculated and it showed especially this year and this is why all the jk mentions left a bad taste in my mouth midst the taennie fiasco, but only tkkrs and some armys (mainly army twitter) were in denial about it because they hate blackpink and their fans. but what we want isn't always what goes on in those celebrities lives and yall need to understand that they KNOW their audience and they know how to control it when things get out of control, and tae is no exception. he tried controlling his audience with the way he thought will work but it backfired on him because not all of his audience are gullible tkkrs, and now he's not trying anymore because it's risky when he's promoting (at least for now).
and i hate that people consider anyone who acknowledges that tae did wrong as an anti. we're not fucking antis for acknowledging things when our faves fuck up. they're humans, they make mistakes without thinking sometimes, taehyung fucked up when he ignored all the rumors about him and jennie and even actively tried to divert attention from it thinking that ALL who cared about the rumors were tkkrs who'll eat up his few jk mentions and move on with their lives. but there were armys, blinks, and kpop stans who didn't fall for this shit bc they don't care about some jk mentions, we noticed his pattern of singling out jk and as non-tkkrs it all clicked into place quick and the conclusion wasn't pretty. this is why i hope after his album promo ends he doesn't mess things up again because it will really cause issues.
Hi anon!
Tae singling out Jk isn't exactly new. A lot of people are looking at this like you are, like it was some masterplan Tae formed to hide his relationshi with Jennie. When actually, Tae and Jk just did what they always do. They just see each other a lot, and that shows. Whether it is through mentions in lives, through meeting, through being physically close in official footage... Jk and Tae just have a special bond. What has been new though, is that we are in a different era. Before chapter2, Tae and Jk's 'singling each other out' was obscured by the other members and by them also interacting wih other members a lot. Now though, both Tae and Jk have hung out with each other obviously more than they have with the other members (especcialy during the first part of the year. So for them mentioning each other like they normally would wasn't on purpose, it just was normal. If they'd hung out with Jin, or Jimin, or Hobi just as much, they would have mentioned them as well. You can also see this in with Jimin who kept seeing Hobi and Yoongi most, those were the members mentioned by him most. It's not something they came up with, it's just what they do. Jk isn't obsessed with Jimin. Although they obviously care about each other a lot, the interactions that are magnified atm (like Jk's live dedicated to Jimin, the recent live with Jk in bed) are all more or less sett of by something. It's just Jk spotting something about Jimin and going along with it in the moment. This is also how they have always been. It's banter and friendship.
Mentioning Jk to divert attention from Jennie is also very non-effevtive and management would have known that and advised him otherwise. It only means much to Tkkrs, and we are very much not the whole of army and Blinks. So only if Tae would've wanted just Tkkrs to not know about him and Jennie that might've been a thing, but that just doesn't make sense in any way. If they wanted to keep Tae and Jennie a secret they wouldn't have walked around Paris like that (which yes was obvious pr). Tae posted Jk on his insta right before that, so whas that also still him trying to divert attention right before soft landing his relationship? Please, they have a whole team behind them who advises them about how to deal with situations like this. No company would let things run wild the way they have unless that was the intention. If they were actually together, there would have been a confirmation straight after Paris to calm things down.
I think the things that are considered 'members doing something wrong' are rarely actually members doing something wrong. Things get magnified to an unreasonable extent. Members mentioning each other is never 'doing something wrong' if you think that in any capacity you don't fully realize the respect and love members have for each other. I see people (tkkrs) say that Jimin is showing that pic of him and Jk together is him not asking for consent from Jk... what flip? Those men (all members) know exactly what they can and cannot do regarding the others.

My Dream Collab For Joon and RPWP Thoughts
I’m beyond excited to get more sad indie boy alternative music from Namjoon because let’s be honest I share a ton of the same music taste as time. I giggle like a schoolgirl whenever he posts a story of an artist I love. I’m so excited that we now know what rpwp means (did I say that I love his brain?) and I can’t help but think about that guy that used to be all over Namjoon’s insta with his face covered with emojis but in settings that seemed private and intimate and if he was the wrong person.
Tumblr media
My preorder fingers are ready. What is my ultimate hope for this album? I’ll put it into the universe. I have been pretty vocal that I haven’t liked a lot of the artists that people want the maknae line and Jimin in particular to collab with. There is one artist though that I would do anything for a collab with honestly any of the BTS members but especially Namjoon in particular (or Jimin because I love him honestly JK would sound great with his voice too) and that person is none other than my favorite artist of all time (alongside BTS):
Frank Ocean.
I haven’t been the same since Blonde dropped in 2016 and I never will be. We know that Namjoon is a big fan because duh he has immaculate taste and of course sparked the stupidest controversy with illiterate kpoppies when he shared Bad Religion by Frank to one of his insta stories. I would literally give anything for a Frank Ocean collab between them, and this album sounds like it would have been perfect. Ugh let me dream. I know, I know, Frank hates his fans though and who knows if he will ever release another album. I stay delulu and hope every year that he will drop including this one, okay. Don’t judge me too much.
But seriously, when I think about Indigo. When I think about Namjoon’s indie boy soul. When I think about his lyrical depth and ear for production. When I think about the title, genre, and themes of this new album. I just really want to hear what Namjoon would do alongside Frank.
And purely for fun, these are my favorite songs by Joonie and Frank.
Namjoon: Wildflower
honorable mention: rest of Indigo and everythinggoes
It’s pretty rare for me to be this obsessed with a title track. I usually prefer some deep album cut, but this is truly a masterpiece and the best part of Indigo imo.
Tumblr media
Frank Ocean: Self Control aka my favorite song of all time. What we won’t talk about is the amount of cope and tears I have shed to this song when Jimin and Jikook enlisted okay bye.
But in all seriousness, if you haven’t listened to Self Control, you must. Be prepared for it to move you to tears. It does for me. Every time. Even if I’m not sad. The production, his voice, the lyrics are all devastating and work perfectly. It’s truly perfection in a song.
Lyric Spoiler to pique your interest:
“you cut your hair, but you used to live a blonded life”
I’ll see myself out because I could write a dissertation about how much I love this song.
honorable mentions: I’m a huge Blonde girlie so really any other song off Blonde but I love all his works. I’d say my other two favorite songs of his that I’ve definitely cried to a ton are White Ferrari and Siegfried.

As realistically and rationally as you can: why do you think so many people don't acknowledge what bts has achieved? Do you think it comes from the toxic side of the fandom who always engage in fanwars? Because with (k)media it comes from them being paid by the big 3 but they still occasionally report what they achieve. So what about other people? Are they jealous of them? But like the tannies did not achieve all this in 2-3 years, it took them 10 long and hard years to get here. And so many other groups could achieve so much. But why is everyone acting like bts is the voldemort of the kpop world?
When you talk about 'people' are you referring to kpoppies, locals or in general? Because I think the reasons vary a bit, but they have the same pillars: envy, stereotypes and racism.
In the times we live in, BTS is almost an anomaly. In the kpop world even more so. Within kpop bts challenged the status quo. They are not part of the big 3, they are from a company that was small, with almost no money. They debuted with nothing for sure, just dreams. They challenged what is intrinsically kpop or what many believe it to be, and they succeeded. They changed the game and came out on top. For kpoppies to recognise that is almost impossible because bts started with almost nothing and now has everything, while their favs started with everything and today many are not even there. Envy is dangerous.
BTS from very early on started doing things differently, everything was in-house. And the members of the group have active participation in everything they do. They are in control of their careers to a large extent. All of that generates envy. And all of that is hard to accept.
For the locals it's mostly about stereotypes and racism, accompanied by a lot of envy as well. This South Korean group came "out of nowhere" to win everything. To sell everything. To become a worldwide phenomenon that unlike other boybands has not been fleeting. BTS has become bigger and more famous over time, something that usually doesn't happen with boybands in the West. To them, bts is an anomaly, a flaw in the equation, one that is due to their "obsessive fans" and not to their talent and dedication. They find it hard to recognise bts' achievements because for them they were not achieved in the "right" way but because their fans were obsessed with buying an album, watching a video a thousand times etc. This is also hypocritical because fans of many artists do that, bts fans are just more organised. That misconception is also hypocritical because many boybands in the west became famous especially because of their "obsessive fans" and not just because of their talent. The problem for them is that bts has shown that they have talent as well. That all ends up being racism too.
In general many find it hard to recognise bts' achievements because they stepped out of the box. They challenged everything and came out victorious. And that's thanks to them, their fans and their agency. Nobody else.

how does making wlive considered great promotion? The people who watch JK wlive to start with are people who would know already about Jimin and Face and if they are army they would be already streaming and buying and JK solos will never suport face no matter whether JK says it or not. So how does making a vlive considered a promotion? Shouldn't it be considered as support instead of promotion ?
I saw this under your post so I want to say yes it's support not promotion. BUT if it's reaching to new people it's a promotion in a way, isn't it? If I post LC on my stories for others to see and check the song it's promotion in my own way I'm not 'supporting' the song lol. Im supporting by streaming and buying privately.
I was watching Jimin's Lee Mujin Service episode and in the comment section you can see 100s of comments saying they didn't knew about this but came here because of JK's live. It's like saying 'I came from tiktok' lol. See ? It reached many people who didn't knew about Jimin's acoustic performance. JK's live on average gets 10M+ (which is the HIGHEST for any kpop artist he's consumed very much) views while rest all members gets around 5 M (exceptions are there, like Jimin's pocket live had 10M views) so it's twice amount of viewers which includes different types of audiences.
It's not just hard-core army who knows it all watching his lives. Do you know there were even people who didn't knew about LETTER ???? Some found it from JK's live. His views also includes solos - they won't support anyway, kpoppies - He's their fav so they watch his lives like others watch sks bangchan vlive, JK×GG shippers - yep they are there especially for JK there's a ton of them, Y/n - who don't watch og content but JK lives etc etc. So most of Jimin's works are reaching them too and many of them search for it soley because of JK lives and finds it. Is it a 'big' promotion nope but in its literal meaning it's also a promotion when it's reaching many people who didn't knew about it. It's like we saying a brand or singer got free promo from JK lol. Jimin definitely doesn't want it but as of now Jimin is getting exclusive promo from JK's live.
Hi anon,
I agree with this.
I think it's important to make the distinction between support and promote, since the slight word change means a lot to some people.
We call ourselves supporters of Jimin. So by that definition, Jk is one too.
One of us!
But yes, Jk did support Jimin's songs. He even got people pumped minutes before Set Me Free pt. 2 mv dropped.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts as always!

hi hellooo pleasure to be here again!! i have come to rant
so last night i went a bit through your blog because i vaguely remembered that at some point there was a conversation about "stage presence" and how only kpoppies give a shit about it. and i found some asks from last year about this youtuber who made like a whole classification on stage presence with all this masculine overt dominant whatever categories. and i was mindblown because just yesterday i got recommended one of their videos and i was watching that stuff like wtf. that took me back to my early kpop days (which is like 2018 lol) when i also discovered the term stage presence and i thought i did something. anyway
i actually came here to talk about shinee's recent comeback!! from the little i've seen, there's some beef among shawols regarding wether shinee is really "shinee" anymore and i've seen some people saying they've unstanned bc of hard. like you do you ig
i've been thinking that i genuinely like the song, but indeed it doesn't have that classic shinee vibe. (also satellite best bside???) to me it's just like taemin key onew and minho got together to sing a song, but it's not "shinee" per se. and that's okay.
regarding performances i only watched the studio choom dance version and tbh for the first time in my limited shinee eras knowledge i thought that minho takes the cake for this one. idk if it's the fact that he's more stereotipically masculine (or at least coming across that way) or what, but honestly his part in the second chorus is my favorite. key is second favorite and again his part in the last chorus suits him a lot imo especially with the different choreo for it. as for taemin i'm glad he's bringing his poppiest pops forward because i swear i feels like that man's bones are snapping inside his body but other than that honestly i don't think he's enjoying this era too much fdjdvscg
hi hello again!!!
alksdjflksdafj not that youtuber again....they're a fucking plague i need them to read a fucking book for the love of god. just so profoundly uninformed, its mind boggling.
i've seen variations of this take since before the song even came out and honestly? i don't agree. you can not like the song for any number of reasons but the fact of the matter is that it IS a shinee song. what makes a shinee song is that it's their voices. that's all that makes a shinee song. for a group that has an extended history of genre experimentation, for fans to get mad or say it's "not them" when they DO do something experimental is cowardly and embarrassing. just admit that you don't like the song and move on. there will be a time when EVERY artist you love makes something that you don't. that's fine and normal. don't hide behind incorrect assertions like "it's an nct reject" or that it doesn't sound like them. they're artists that still want to explore and grow and they have agency to do that. it's not a failing to admit that you don't like something that your faves made, and i also think it's rude and denies them identity and agency to say that 'it doesn't sound like them', especially with this particular group.
personally what i think people are subconsciously getting at when they say a song doesnt sound like shinee is that it sounds incomplete because it's missing a voice. the same discourse circled around with dcm came out and people are not acknowledging that shinee is never going to sound the same as they did pre 2017 (2018 technically bc jonghyun's voice is still on tsol). they just aren't. the chemical makeup of the melodies is going to be different forever and people need to acknowledge and accept that. the four of them are doing their best to fill in that hole and theyre doing a great job, but there is still a hole.

for the fic ask, 5 and 7 for reverse robin?
5. What do you wish someone would ask you about [reverse robins]? Answer it now!
Oh shit! Well ASK ME ABOUT JASON TODD GUYS -
Legit I did not get NEARLY enough opportunity to really go into him in the series. It's enough to make me want to give him his own thing, just to give the king the respect he deserves.
I mean I think people are way, way too obsessed with Jason in Batfam fic in general. But I'm built different. Jason has oldest daughter syndrome and is chronic put in an emotional parenting position and here's why -
and don't you guys OBVIOUSLY want to know how I redid the entire shazam and blue beetle families
and green lantern
no i fixed green lantern come back
7. Any worldbuilding you’re particularly proud of?
ASK ME ABOUT JASON TOOD GUYS AND HOW I WOULD FIX THE GREEN LATNERNS AND AJFLKSDJFL
Just kidding. I am genuinely very happy with Tim Drake-as-Oracle, and I think it's kinda a good little woke thing of showing how a mental injury can be just as permanently damaging as a physical one. The best thing for Tim wasn't going back out into the field, and that's okay. Richie has a long future of being obnoxiously gay all over the place ahead of him.
I am also genuinely still very fond of Wally and Linda as QPR husband/wife lab partner duo with two kids. It's not a touch I've seen anybody else use, but there's something so great about having the Flash Family (TM) feature so many different kinds of relationships and love and ways to be a family.
Really, a lot of the reverse robin worldbuilding logistics were kind of tricky to pull off, and you see especially in the Flash stuff that I had to bend over backwards a bit. But it did leave us with great stuff like "Ted Kord is Jaime Reyes' sidekick and Ted and Booster are the adopted cringe white uncles to Jaime, who thinks they're layabouts who never clean, and Rip is constantly background dying over how cringe his dads are. Also Milagro's a Green Lantern." And the sweet stuff like how the Shazam family is the exact same, but everybody's in reverse order, so you have a VERY STRESSED Darla driving around a hoarde of younger children in a minivan with only the useless Eugene as an actual vice captain.
Also this is small and dumb but plotting out the entire "the Arrows as children of divorce that are constantly pleading with their Step-Mom to divorce their Dad is very funny to me". That universe just has a lot of affection in it from me honestly haha.
Also Kara as a kpoppie. That is all.

You are clearly not an anime fan. I don’t know why anime is like this but just about every anime fan knows that there are randomly weird and uncomfortable parts in the anime you just kind of have to skip past to get to the story. In SO MANY anime. Naruto (so much with his mentor the Sage), in Fairytale (a lot of stuff with the guild founder), even My Hero has horrific stuff being done to teens. Things like torture and experimentation. These are all highly regarded mainstream animes. And Made in Abyss is too. It was literally the anime of the year that year. Forbes magazine listed as one of the best anime of the decade.
Anime fans are literally dragging kpoppies virtue signaling about this through the mud.
Now…the manga is a different story and only one of the stars is confirmed to have read the manga (Taeyong). But sadly A LOT of manga that anime are based on are like that. Truly. It’s honestly kind of gross. I remember watching an anime I really loved so I got one of the manga to read. Big mistake. So much gross stuff in there that was not in the show. I will be honest, most people do not heavily research the creators of the show they watch. This is likely especially true of idols who are catching episodes in between their schedules.
Soobin is a anime fan. He knows the creators slip stuff like that inside good stories. That’s why he specifically said he couldn’t recommend it. The overall story does not CENTER around any of those themes. The story is about the children’s adventures in the abyss and how no one in this universe can escape the world’s cruelty. The censored version is rated 15+ and this anime is on Netflix and Disney+
You saw some scenes and a summary out of context (those screenshot of someone’s take on the show have been widely circulated and taken for source material which is ridiculous in and of itself) and made that the whole show. It isn’t. You yourself continue to consume kpop knowing there is dark and exploitive elements to it. Just a thought to consider. You don’t condone or support those things, but there are a lot of good things about kpop that you do enjoy so you swallow that metaphorical pill. (Soobin essentially said this about the anime and why he cannot recommend it.)
Be for real. Dressing underage idol girl the way they do and having them dance the way they do…like… you’re not an idiot. You know what is going on. But that’s not what you focus on because you’re not gross and you’re looking at a larger institution instead of making all of kpop about underage girls performing questionably on stage.
I understand you not wanting to support people who were consuming content that supported the themes you’re talking about but…the content that they consumed has been heavily edited and depicts those themes as evil and bad (a lot of main stream art and media does this. It’s not for everyone. Think Criminal Minds and SVU and Lolita). I would probably be more uncomfortable if they were reading and discussing the manga (only Taeyong was interacting with the manga).
But labeling Soobin and the other two men as p********s because they watched the heavily edited version of a WIDELY acclaimed mainstream anime is a step too far. No one is making you or anyone support these people. But you are not considering all the facts or operating with a full understanding of the situation. Feel however you want to feel. Block whoever you want to block.
But you need to chill on the labeling with that word. That is fully over the line and wrong.
I don’t know if you’ll publish this ask, but I hope you do. And even if you don’t, I hope it at least made you think a little. I am not telling you how you should feel. But labeling them like that is not right.
This is a crazy read because I was on anitwt before I got into skz. My account was based on jojo's bizarre adventure and its literally how I got my name too because I based it off a jjba character.
Anime fans are not the people you want use as your trump card for this either because I left anime twitter because of the amount of predators and proshipping content made me uncomfortable.
I can acknowledge that anime and media can have dark content and I have said that before in another read. I can also acknowledge these animes can have things that aren't good and shouldn't be written in.
I also know that it was censored and I also know people have said that the content even after the censoring is very graphic. I have heard mingi said he dropped it after seeing the content but I do not know 100% because translations can be tricky. Also you don't need to show graphic scenes to get a point across. That's something no one wants to see to be honest.
I also don't stan any girl groups so I don't understand your point and I also said I don't stan or condone underage idols. I can acknowledge idols are being exploited which is why I advocate for boycotts when needed.
And if you look at my other posts I literally said I'm not calling them predators either. Maybe read a little before you come on my account and say some bullshit.

all of the members solos have me so excited. is there any that you’re looking forward to in particular?
*rolls the following rant out like a scroll* I'm so glad you asked >:) Admittedly, asking about the solos in particular cuts the end of my scroll by a bit, but nonetheless.
Before I get into it, I will say that I massively nerd out about the credits and who contributes what to a song. Particularly the lyrics, because lyrics mean a lot to me, but really, all of it. And no, I have never regretted learning hangul. But I will probably say a little tidbit about what I'm looking forward to with each one tbh.
Connected - Bang Chan: if you know he's my ult bias, then that says enough. But as things go with ult biases, of course it's not enough. This one actually has me really intrigued because songs where Chan does everything separate from the rest of 3racha, particularly in the way of lyrics, is extremely rare. Like, the only ones I can think of off the top of my head are I Hate to Admit and 24 to 25, and even the latter I'd have to check on. In my experience, lyrics can tell you a lot about the lyricist. Maybe it's just my flawed perception, but I think Chan keeps a lot of his thoughts and feelings to himself in order to protect himself and others even if there are a lot of things he's very open about (likely things he's had time to process more). So a song where he's the sole lyricist is kind of a little glimpse into his heart. I'm very interested in seeing it, and I hope other Stays are prepared to receive it gently, if that's what it requires. And on top of that, the only other person credited is Versachoi, who always delivers 👊🏻
Limbo - Lee Know: in the auto-translated version of the naver article that was released about skz replay, I think it was translated as "Low," so maybe this is a sad boi hours song? He's been hanging out with Han too much Lee Know is another one that I think really limits showing his more fragile feelings a lot, so getting a song where he's the only skz member involved could be interesting, especially with a title like this. Maybe now we'll find out who wrote Drive
Doodle - Changbin: I swear I'm not gonna go back to the naver article too much, but there are multiple ways you could interpret the description "depicts a free life that is not confined to a set frame." This strikes me as very Changbin imo: the levity and fun of a title like Doodle, but a very deliberated concept. Can I assume that any of these songs that have Chan as an arranger are old songs excavated from the depths of the laptop of legend? Maybe. Who knows. Is this the "Crayon" that God's Menu replaced as the title track? Somebody who's been a Stay longer than me and remembers the spoilers better than me probably knows.
Love Untold - Hyunjin: this is one I know Stays have been begging to have released for ages. But somehow I was under the impression that Chan was also in on this one as a performer? Idk. Looks like I'm wrong 🙃 Regardless, I know I'm going to love it because I love Hyunjin's heart and his hopeless romanticism because...me too. Me too bro.
Run - Han: Look. Do I even have to say it? It's a Jisong. It's obviously gonna sparkle like glitter, and like glitter, never leave us for years. Although with a title like Run, I'm curious as to how it "conveys comfort." Another thing I'm wondering is whether it's at all an intentional throwback to Runner's High. And whether I'm going to get that or BTS's Run out of my head now.
Deep End - Felix: we love Felix for his heart, we all know that. But he's never beating the single allegations I say in kpoppie weeb Genshin player. So I'm not gonna say that a breakup song out of him is funny but it's a little bit funny. (I'm sorry Felix I love you I promise) No. I promise I'm actually interested in seeing how it turns out. What perked me up on this one was the fact that if I'm not wrong, the only other contributor to the song (Sim Eunji) is a girl. Like obviously, it's 2022, it shouldn't even be worth mentioning, but seeing a female producer in the credits of a song, especially on her own, is so rare, and idek her, but I'm proud of a fellow girlboss 👊🏻
Stars and Raindrops - Seungmin: ohohoho I've been waiting to get to this one even though it'll probably be one of the shortest. Two words: Hong Jisang. He worked with vocalracha on Can't Stop, he worked with Day6 on...yes (no-skip discography, man), and he delivers no bad results and no results that aren't a banger, and Seungmin always steps up to the plate vocally.
Hug Me - I.N: gosh what a cute title. I don't have a ton of thoughts on this, but I very well could have a ton after it releases. Based on what little I know, it could be another song along the lines of Can't Stop in terms of content, ie having a crush? Even if it's not, as a wise man once said, "hugs are the best."
Technically the following would fit more into commentary about the B-side tracks, but it's a solo song so I'ma say it anyway. I was a little bit surprised to not see Changbin's Cypher on the SKZ-Replay album, but tbh I'm not even mad. It honestly makes me even more excited, because it just adds more evidence to my theory that it's not meant to be a song in and of itself, but rather a puzzle made up of pieces from other songs. We have Maze of Memories, we have Scars. But literally every new song, every new comeback, I go back to Cypher to see if a new puzzle piece just dropped.
This is probably way more than you bargained for or even wanted, but too bad. I am stepping off the podium, I am dropping the mic, I am...going to bed because I have work in the morning. Thanks for building my little podium and setting up the mic for me.

actually it’s kinda crazy that kpoppies especially on here are so adamant that eunwoo has no acting talent despite the fact they haven’t seen all of his dramas (the historical one and the webdramas included btw) or any of his movies bc now no matter all of the praise he will get from seasoned actors and very popular and powerful movie directors y’all will use your limited knowledge of his very first proper drama that you didn’t enjoy to draw your conclusion about his entire career when the reality is that you have a weird obsession with kpop idols only being valid if they’re a quadruple threat because that’s the only kind of idol you allow yourself to stan which is just. so fuckign sad lmao

I'm on cloud 9 rn Bpp. NOTHING can bring me down today. I'm going to get a manicure, make a cucumber salad, and binge watch jikook content on youtube. I hope you're having a great day.
Ask 2: Wow! 5X nominated artists. First Korean act in HISTORY to bag that many nominations consecutively. Namjoon, Yoongi, Hoseok all Grammy nominated songwriters. BTS KEEP WINNING. Even if they don't get the final awards, they have WON. I'm so proud of them!
*
Ask 3: AAAAAAAAAAA IM SO HAPPY FOR BTSSSSSS
*
Ask 4: Kpoppies are going through the 5 stages of grief right now and it's kinda funny cos don't they realize the only reason they can even ;hope; for a nomination is because of BTS? They spend all their waking hours hating BTS and mocking Armys, insulting all the work it took us to break this glass ceiling and then they start crying when their faves are ignored for even nominations?? BTS worked their way up from music show wins on Inkigayo, to MMA bosangs, to MMA and MAMA daesangs, to BBMAs, to EMAs, to AMAs, to the Grammys and other international awards. The entire time kpoppies were insulting them and saying BTS wanted Western validation that their own faves were above that. But now they're crying because groups that don't even have daesangs weren't nominated for the Grammys? Armys aren't my favorite people, but at least Armys aren't half as delusional as kpoppies. It must suck to be a BTS anti cos every 2-3 business days you need to work extra hard to top up your bitterness.

Hi Anon(s),
I'm especially happy about the nominations for the rap line in songwriting, and for a song in Korean and English.
Anon in Ask 2, just as it was last year, I too feel that even if BTS don't win the awards, they've still won. I can't bring myself to get fully into celebrating for them though, because chances are yts are gonna yt. 🤷‍♀️ BTS will eventually be awarded. Whether or not it happens in 2023 is another story.
Anon in Ask 4, whew, have you got it all out of your system?
I don't blame you for feeling that way though. It's true the fact any k-pop stan can even speak about the Grammys in the first place, like the only reason k-pop is even being mentioned anywhere near that notoriously white institution, is because of BTS and BTS only. It's a fact we all know but because this is k-pop where people get offended for pointing out water is wet, it still needs to be said lmao. I did have higher hopes for another group this year because of their Western partner labels, but BTS is still the only Korean group that is objectively too big to ignore, a group that has a whole discography worth of proof to show they should've been fully recognized and awarded by that institution at least 4 years ago. Any groups recognized today or in the future can thank BTS for the hyper-visibility they've brought to the genre and industry. It's really that simple.
Anon in Ask 1, I'm up to my eyeballs in work today but I loved reading how you plan to take care of yourself. It'll take about 48 hours for the dust to settle and then we'll start getting the really hot takes from k-pop commentators and pundits lmaoo. So enjoy this nominations glow to the fullest while it lasts. 💜

three 🎲 for maia! 💖
✨send me a # to learn an unusual hc about my muse!
1 — what’s your muse’s favorite album of all time / favorite artist?
maia mostly listens to pop and indie music. her favourite artists include taylor swift (yes it's my turn to have the swiftie), mitski, and mxmtoon. she's also a little kpoppie. her fave groups are posy, asteria, and uni:verse. it took her a bit of time to get into the death ramps' music since she doesn't usually listen to that genre, but she warmed up to them eventually after going to so many gigs.
30 — is there something about their personality they want to change?
sometimes, maia wishes she wasn't so shy and sheltered. she really wishes she was a lot more confident and outgoing, especially now that she's attending university. she always hears stories about how university is the time for you to really put yourself out there and she just feels as if she's missing out on so much because of how timid and introverted she is.
36 — would they rather be alone or in a relationship?
before ash, maia had never been in a relationship before. she's super inexperienced when it comes to relationships and doesn't really know any better. she used to explain that she was happy being single whenever people would ask her why she wasn't in a relationship yet, but that kind of changed when she met ash. she really enjoyed spending time and doing couple-y things with him, even when they're weren't official yet. she never really realised how much of a romantic she was until she met him.
