The Joker and Batman were fighting again, Batman had found the Joker in the basement of an apartment all of his kids were off looking for the bombs The Joker set, he was the only one fighting he did not expect the Joker to turn and call for someone named Frido, and to hear someone scrambling to the entrance, he first thought the joker had another partner in crime when he turned he did not expect for a child about 6 years old to be standing in the doorway with black hair with white highlights a bright glowing blue eye with his other eye being hidden by his hair and pointy ears. The child had on an oversized shirt and was wearing a dog collar with a chain he was holding a stuffed animal that was stitched together with mix match animal parts.

The Joker tells Frido it's time to go, the boy ran towards the Joker and grabs his hand and they both disappear.

More AU I may write: (Most of these AU, Danny is op as shit.)

1- Soul bound au: Since Gotham is cursed, Thomas and Martha Wayne were superstitious and worried of an untimely demise. One day they pass by a fortune teller she predicts their son's death when their son turns a certain age. To prevent they bind/marriage contract his soul to a ghost that will protect their son.

Turns out the ghost is Danny and they forget about this interaction. Then instead of Bruce dying, his parents die instead. Then every time he has a close encounter with death he meets his groom to be.

This worries him as he tries to get out of the contract, but Danny won't let him go as if he does Bruce might as well be dead. They act like bitter exes who sometimes still fuck or both are pinning for each other, but decide to keep their distance. Danny does let him have his real relationships as he knows once he is dead, he will be his permanently. Danny then moves to Gotham to sort of help it better and easier for his partner, lessening the load on him and keeping him safer.

2- Immortal time traveler au. Sort of: Danny sort of did missions for Clockwork, learned a bunch of different skills and jobs. Danny moves to Gotham after his time with his Dad, he opens up a bakery/library/coffee house near the low- income part of Gotham, they offer shelter, food, spare supplies and warm place to sleep to the homeless youth of Gotham. One night, when Danny goes take out the trash, he notices that Batman has fallen down next to his place, possibly unconscious. Danny brings Batman in, making sure to keep his mask on while taking note of his injuries. Danny gets in contact with Alfred from the cowl and Alfred arrives to pick Batman in the Batmobile. The next day, Bruce comes to the shop to thank him and to assure that Danny will keep his secret.

This place becomes a safe house/ space for when Batman gets hurt, when the first Robin gets lost or hurt and gives advice to those who needs it. Danny meets a struggling Jason Todd before he gets taken by the bat. He then later recognizes the new robin. Cut to a few years later, after jason revival they meet up again and maybe start a relationship.

3- Ghost Detective au: Basically danny travels the world and finds unmarked graves, and solves their crimes.

4- Dancer-Bouncer au: Danny and Desiree are stuck together and on the run after fleeing from Danny's parents and the GIW. They run into a portal, that takes them to a new universe. Desiree has a human looking form as well as some limit on her wish granting. Danny has regressed to a younger child while he still has his powers.

(Danny is more friendlier with his enemies in this au. In fact Danny has wished for Desiree to find happiness in the afterlife, which has sort of released her from her curse.)

So Danny and Desiree decide they are going to stick together in this new world as mother and son. They befriend a stripper and she gets Desiree a job as a stripper.

(You can decide what city they moved to, but I prefer Gotham.)

Danny stays in the dressing room when she works. One day day Desiree and her co workers gets harassed by one of the patrons and Danny goes to defend her, scaring the crap out of them and leaving because their boss was a scumbag. This leads Danny and Desiree to quit their employment and decide to run their own club, with better treated staff, hourly pay, respect and security. Some of Desiree old co-workers hear about this and decide to work for them. As Danny gets older and prettier, he helps out more by working as a part-time dancer/singer on girls night and bouncer on some nights. Some time Danny even goes out patrol to help the lesser folks, even some restless spirits. This is how the other vigilantes meet Danny as he was tied up with them trying to help out a family looking for their lost child. Any Batkid x Danny.

5- Total Invasion au: Brainiac invades earth but it a multiple invasion scenario where he attacks different places at once. So the heroes get captured and are placed in these bubble force fields impervious any attack from inside it. Batman, Wonder woman and some other heroes are trapped in different bubbles with no help to get out, until one recent Brainiac bots, that recently came in starts to malfunction. The bot goes offline as someone appear behind them. It's human Danny as he was brought on the ship due to his energy signature. Danny goes up to them and they realize something weird about him, he looks blind.

(Danny parent's invention blew up in his face maybe permanently blinding him. Instead Danny can see true souls. (I.e. if he saw batman's soul, he would Bruce Wayne's trauma and connect to his bat persona so to speak.)

This causes Jazz to call the CPS on her parents blaming them for child neglect, abandonment, abuse, labor etc... Jazz get her and Danny emancipated putting their house on lockdown and removing some inventions and dismantling the Portal. Their parents get sentences to jail and while Vlad tries to get custody of Danny, they frame it in way that puts Vlad in a bad spot and get a restraining order on him.

Danny and Vlad both suffer accident at the hands of the Drs. Fenton, but Danny is still a child and has better protection than Vlad has. During this time, the GIW tries to get the rights to Fenton works but fail, even try a Breaking and Entering and get caught. Danny, Jazz, Ellie and his friends rebrand Fenton works in to maybe Nightingale industries, rebranding some of their parents ghost tech into actual non-ghost tech and make profit on it. (Danny and Company still make some ghost tech but only to help other ghosts or to contain them.)

Danny asks them how can help them, but they doubt he could help them. Then to their shock and surprise, Danny releases ghostly wail short circuiting their bubble as it cannot deal with supernatural sounds and releasing them from their captures. They go and stop Brainiac, not before Danny mentions to them how he has to get back to his company, telling them the name. So when Bruce Wayne goes to meet with Danny knows who he is talking to.
