I love that my guy group just... Dont care about genders and such.

My username have always had an Mr in it. I don't think any of them questioned it. Fabian has one account with 'Lady' in it. We regularly say 'girl/queen' to each other. And they call me dude and bro

It's such a small thing obviously but I really like how that's always been the way we have had it

I'm really glad I decided to finish Exordia this morning because it did lead to just about 7 hours of writing (+lunch break and dog walk) so that I was able to do a short story front to back ~3300 words.

Feels like a bit W because the last short I did was October, which is still much more recent than the one before it had been (though I've had a few abortive attempts at getting past the first 20k of a book in there)

I spent a lot of the winter depressed and struggling to find the joy in doing something for it's own sake, so I've been trying to really push myself toward the parts of writing that have me looking back on my own writing fondly. Because even without plans for publishing stuff there is so much of my writing that I think my life is better for having written

I feel very good about what I wrote today, so hopefully I'll keep doing this small stuff

I'll say an especial shout-out to the Penric novellas, the cemeteries of amalo books, and Exordia for really making me feel that extra fondness for books and writing lately

#the benefit too of writing the story for it's own sake means i haven't been overly critical #its based around some scifi conceit that ive legit forgotten the name of and refused to stop to google #(or not conceit? paradox? idk)#that's like. anyone who sets out now to colonize a planet or something #is more likely to be beaten there by people who come later with better technology #so it kinda starts out as this person on a rather suicidal surveying mission #getting depressed as all fuck because the one thing she hoped might mean #has been colonized for 1000 years and is just sort of politely integrating her with like futuristic ass translators and stuff #so shes like wow not only does this suck but my translator wont even translate when i swear. i feel more isolated from humanity than ever #but also? that it's nice because the fact that nothing about her makes sense to everyone else is a common connection #she's not worried about if people thinks she's strange because she IS. it's her defining feature #so she decides it's not too bad even if she's out of place. but she would like to learn the language do she can swear #the only person who can help is a linguist #and oh there's all this silliness where people will be making a joke she doesnt know how to translate #“well this is your world after all”#because shes afraid they're making fun of her for being so late to it #but as she learns from the linguist many moons later #who is constantly affectionately/jokingly calling her “my eo #*my world“#she snaps is demands like you HAVE to tell me what that means. why do you say that. it is hurtful #BUT then shes like girl. read an atlas. and she reads it. and the world is named after her #i think i managed to thread the needle of being both morbidly depressing AND saccharine take on struggling to feel you belong/can #relate to other people #which shockingly something on my mind

i like to think she plays along with your mime antics, pretending to also be putting up invisible props and such... though her actions and movements are noticeably more sloppy and not as... fluid...? afterall, ragatha hasnt spent time practicing to be anywhere near your level! is a little surprised when she finds out your stuff is at least somewhat tangible within the digital world... thinks your emoting is cute..

KINGER:

so you know how he gets startled by gangle simply standing next to him? its like that with you, but he jumps when you randomly start talking next to him.. ponders... invisible safe square/cube/whatever... though i think part of the comfort of a pillow fort is that hes out of sight... but i think he would enjoy it at least a little if you created something like that for him

enjoys that you dont talk much, zooble doesnt like chatty people i dont think... though they are willing to listen to you on days where you do feel like striking up a conversation... you actually get a laugh out of them when you banish jax to time out (aka putting up 4 see through walls around him for whatever length of time to atone for whatever crime he committed that day)

The party’s done, and I’m no fun, I know, I know

Ever since you had moved to New York in early 2022, it felt like it had been living a lie. Like this life you were living wasn’t yours, like you had just stolen it from someone. Growing up, you had always been homeschooled, meaning your social life was slime to none. So, it was safe to say that when you chose to move to New York for a job your mom’s friend had offered you, you were scared.

You only had two real friends, who you barely ever saw because of their busy scheduled with school before, and even more now since you three were all over the country doing your own things. Luckily for you, there was a girl only 2-3 years older than you at your job, meaning you had someone to talk to if you felt the need. After a month of two, the two of you became friends, growing ever closer when you realized you lived in apartment blocks next to each other.

Which is how you found yourself at a bar on a saturday night in October of that year. Mailey had convinced you to come with her, claiming the two of you needed to decompress from your busy week at work. You rolled your eyes at first, but agreed none the less. Ever since this summer, you found yourself starting to go out more, joining Mailey and her friends every once in a while. Only this time was so much different than the others.

There was a big group of maybe 20ish guys, age ranging from young adults to full grown men, taking up most of the place. The two of you were confused, seeing as this bar barely ever had people coming in, and it was mainly the same people coming here every week. So, a group of random guys neither of them had seen around before certainly peeked your interest.

“What do you think they’re doing here?” You asked as the two of you sat down at your usual spot. The group occupying the opposite side of the room.

“Don’t know. But they’re not buying that cheap booze.” Mailey mumbled, her eyes focused on the insane amount of liquor at the couple of tables they were occupying. The two of you eventually started forgetting about them, talking about random things that happened throughout the week.

“Not to freak you out, but there’s a guy that keeps looking at you. A cute guy.” The girl across from you said after about an hour of the two of you being there. You furred your brows slightly at her words, before turning your head in their direction. That’s when you met his eyes for the first time. He had a slight grin on his face as he stared into your eyes, nodding along to whatever the guy next to him was saying. You sent him a small smile, waving slightly, which he answered with a nod.

“More like hot guy.” You mumbled, looking back over at your best friend. You had had a couple of flings here and there, but nothing ever serious, and you were never used to getting boys’ attention on a night out.

“He’s going to the bar. Go talk to him.” Mailey announced, making you turn your head to look at him. At the same time, he looked over at your table, sending you a small wink when your eyes met.

“Rich coming from someone who always says girls don’t chase, they attract.” You teased, making her roll her eyes. You eventually decided to go up to him later that night, talking for a bit before exchanging numbers. Jack, you learned his name was, didn’t seem to want to get into talking about his group of friend too much, so you kept all your questions to yourself.

Over the next couple of weeks, the two of you got to know each other. Your friendship slowly formed and the two of you grew closer each other. But, clearly Jack was still holding back on some stuff. He still refused to open up about his friends and what he does as a living exactly. You told yourself that he’d tell you when he was ready, but you were getting a little impatient, which is why you pretty much forced the answer out of him when you went over to his apartment one day.

“When are you gonna tell me?” You asked, pausing the show the two of you were watching. Your words made him look over at you, a confused expression on his face as his eyes met yours.

“What do you mean?”

“When are you gonna tell me truth, Jack. If that’s even your name.” You sassed, making the boy next to you let out a deep sigh as he threw his head back.

“D’you wanna see my birth certificate?” He answered coldly, making you scoff. “What I do doesn’t matter, Y/N, so just drop it.”

“If it doesn’t matter than why won’t you tell me, Jack? You know pretty much everything about me and my life, and barely know anything from yours. God, you won’t even tell me the names of your brothers!”

“Why do you care so much?”

“Because I like you, Jack! And… and I though you liked me back, but clearly I was wrong.” You admitted, standing up from your spot on the couch as you started packing up your things. “Just forget it.” You mumbled as you started making your way to the door. You were stopped right as you were about to grab onto the doornob.

“Y/N, wait!” He said, grabbing your wrist and turning you around before you could leave. “I like you too, Y/N, and I’m sorry I haven’t been honest with you, but I didn’t want what I do in life to influence how you see me. I’ve had way too many people use me and I didn’t want that to happen again because I really like you.”

“Jack, I made it clear hundreds of that time that I what you do in life wouldn’t change the way I see you, but you kept hiding from me. It makes me feel like you don’t trust me.” You explained with a scoff. The boy in front of you sighed before cupping your face in his head, his forehead leaning against yours.

“I know, I know, I should’ve told you a long time ago. But what we have, it’s really special to me, and it’s so good. I didn’t want to ruin it.”

“You’d have to be a serial killer for me to change my mind about how I feel, Jack.”

“Stay. Please. I’ll tell you everything, I promise, just don’t leave me, please.” He begged, his thumbs rubbing small circles under your eyes. You swallowed harshly before slightly nodding your head yes. Jack then brough the two of you back to his couch, and he stuck to his promise. He started going on and on about his life, starting with the fact that he played hockey for the Devils. Then he moved on to telling you pretty much every single memory he had about the sport, a wide grin plastered on his face.

In exchange, you opened up to him about some of the insecurities you had because you were homeschooled, including having to attened big parties and being surrounded by large crowds. Jack had promised that was something he would never put your through, but you quickly learned that his promise meant nothing to him.

It had now been three months since Jack asked you out. You had met his brother Luke when the boy came to visit, talked to his parents through face time a while ago, but you had yet to met his friends. You tried hard not to let it bother you, but it did. He didn’t want you attending his games either, claiming he didn’t want people to hate on you because you were his girlfriend. You couldn’t help but overthink the fact that maybe it was just because you were his girlfriend.

You had seen pictures of the other players wives and girlfriends, and you looked nothing like them. They all seemed so outgoing and the life of the party. Not to mention all of the models Jack followed, all of them being the exact opposite of you. You had questioned him about it one night, he just scoffed and said you were being petty and pathetic asking him a question like that.

“J?” You called out. His arms were wrapped around your waist, your back pressed against his chest.

“Mm?”

“When am I gonna meet your friends?” You asked quietly, making the boy sigh harshly against the back of your neck.

“Got to sleep, Y/N.” He mumbled.

“Could you at least answer me?”

“I don’t know, okay? Your weird fear of crowds or whatever makes it impossible for you to meet them all at the same time, and I’m not gonna go through the burden of setting up little dates with my teammates just so you can meet them. Can I sleep now, mother?” He answered harshly as his arms left your frame and he turned around, his back to yours. You felt tears prikle in your eyes at his words.

“I can handle it.” Your voice was low, not trusting your voice not to crack if you talked any louder. Jack let yet another sigh at your words.

“We’re getting together after the game tomorrow, come if you want.”

“To your game?” You asked hopeful. You were growing tired of just watching him play through your TV screen, when he was close to your home.

“No. After.” And just like that, all your hope was crushed.

“What should I wear?”

“I don’t know, and I don’t care.” He grumbled, getting out of bed making your head snap towards him as he approached the door.

“Where are you going?”

“Guest room. I need peace and you keep talking.” Was the last thing he said before leaving the room. When you woke up the next morning, he was gone, no text no notes, nothing. He didn’t come back for his pregame nap either, which scared you a little. But all your nerves went away when his face appeared on your Instagram feed, a bright smile on his face as the picture the Devils posted illuminated your screen.

All of your texts to Jack had gone unanswered, as well as your calls. Thankfully, you knew where the team would be heading after the game, it was a local bar near the rink they went to almost every time after a game. You had gotten there a lot later than everyone, spending thirty minutes in your car deciding whether or not Jack would still want you there. You figured there was only one way to find out so in you went.

The place was crowded, the music loud as the bartenders prepared multiple drinks. Realistically, there wasn’t that many people here, just the team and a couple other regulars, it was just a really small room. It took you a couple of minutes to spot Jack, who was sitting at a table with a couple of his friends and lots of girls. You tried to look as confident as possible as you made your way over to him. Some of his friends and their partners started at you, wondering what someone like you was doing here.

“Jack?” You called out as you stood behind him. His arm was resting on the chair of a pretty blond girl next to him. You couldn’t quite describe the look in his eyes when his head turned to face you, but the words he was about to say completely crushed you.

“Do I know you?” He questioned, and you could feel your heart shatter inside of you. You tried your best to keep a brave face on, but you were dying on the inside.

“J, come one, this isn’t funny. I’ve been texting and calling all day, you were gone when I woke up this morning.” You mumbled, taking a step closer to him. The girl on his right could read you perfectly, and she realized that you two were a couple. When it clicked in her mind, she sent the boy a judging look before standing from her seat and walking back to her friends.

Jack got up right after her, gripping your wrist and dragging you outside the bar. “What’re you doing here?” He asked harshly once the two of you stood outside alone.

“No! What are you doing, Jack?”

“I’m enjoying a night with my buddys!”

“Yeah, the friends you said I could meet. Tonight!”

“When did I say that?” His words were harsh and rude, making your heart shatter even more. You truly did not understand why he always acted this way towards you lately, but you were growing tired of it.

“Last night! You said I could come if I wanted to, and I want to be here, so here I am. And here you are, with your arm around another girl!” You said, your tone matching his. You were tired of letting him walk over you all the time.

You always appreciated Bachiras easy and ongoing character, not taking everything that you say to him seriously. you two could just sit around for hours and hours without getting bored, just laughing and joking around together.

His love language is physical touch. He loves having his arm around you, being close to you, his hands on your shoulders, just touching you in any way. he also speaks his mind, not thinking twice before dramatically confessing to you every few days, jumping on your back and hugging you while laughing.

When you began your (now very close) friendship to him, you were confused by his behaviour, but after a few weeks you got used to him and his way of acting. you dont even take these words serious anymore, even though it seriously hurts you. you'd love to hear them come from his mouth and meaning them. (at least you believe he doesnt mean it.)

Some of your other friends might even ask you two if you were dating. You shook your head, Bachira nodded.

"Huh?"

"What?"

"What what?"

You looked at him with wide eyes, wondering why he just nodded. It wasn't unusual for the both of you to get asked this question, but usually both of you would dismiss it with a quick hand or headshake.

You loved Bachira, and you loved the close friendship you two had, but at this point it was getting more than frustrating. it feels like he knows about your feelings and is just playing with them.

"Why would you say that?" You bit the insides of your cheeks, trying to ignore the pain in your chest once again. you couldn't do this anymore, it just hurt. You didnt want to tear up in front of him, but you just needed to tell him about his behaviour just breaking you.

"(Y/N), I told you about how I felt about you around five hundred times already." you heard bachira speak up defeated and discouraged, his normal joking behaviour being gone. instead, a serious looking boy stood in front of you, looking deep into your eyes, taking your hand slowly and gently. "But all you do is laugh and change the topic. I can't stand this anymore. are you doing this on purpose?", he let out rather frustrated.

"... HUH????"

Kunigami:

Kunigami is literally just a big ass fluffball. He is nice and patient to everyone and anyone as long as they are the same to him.

This is probably why you never realised the special feelings he had about you. yes, he is nice and helpful and gentle, integrating and patient, but with you his behaviour goes up another level. he's constantly looking out for you, making sure you eat properly and stay hydrated, he's even walking you home every day with the excuse that his home is in the same direction anyway, acting unbothered and cool when in reality he should've turned to the right halfway through the way home. (but you don't know. he doesnt let you find out.)

he's inviting you over to him every other day, meeting up and probably playing football with you. it doesnt matter to him that you aren't a good as he is, he would even gladly teach you, as long as it means to spend more time with you.

in order for you to realise he really thinks you are more special to him as the other people in his class, he would probably take you to a nice scenery to confess his feelings. which means him forcing you to spend time with him again, not that you would mind though.

you noticed him being more silently and into his head the whole day in school. after school was over you head to his desk, trying to find out if everything is alright.

"Hey, do you need to go home right now?" he asked you, looking up from his desk and right into your eyes, making you feel a bit shy under his glance.

"No. Is there anything you wanna do?" you answered him. He stood up from his chair, throwing his bag around his shoulder. "Lets go for a walk."

You both walked around the city, hands brushing up against one anothers every few minutes. you could feel him trying to hold at least a few fingers of yours, but kunigami always shyed away right afterwards. you didnt say anything, just hoping for him to just take your hand.

The second you two stood at the bottom of a small mountain you started complaining a bit. "What the fuck, do we really need to go up there?"

"Just shut up and follow me" he said with a grin on his face, stretching his hand out for you to finally take.

you placed your hand in his and he grips it tightly, starting to lead you up the mountain. his hand spread warmth through your body and you could feel your heart racing a bit. stop feeling this way, he is just being nice, he's like this to everyone, you tried to downplay your feelings.

once you arrived at the top it was already late in the afternoon and the sun started to set. you both threw yourself onto the ground, looking up into the sky, talking and watching the sky turn from blue to yellow to orange to black, stars beginning to shine brightly all over it.

you did admit that the scenery was amazing from up here, but you didnt say it out loud. you just know kunigami would grin and say I told you so after you complained the whole way up.

instead, you turned your head to him and looked at him, surprised that his eyes were already on you. (they were from the very beginning, you just didnt notice.)

his hand came up close to your face and he put a few strands of your hair away that fell over your forehead. you couldn't help but turn red at his small gesture.

he opened his mouth, wanting to say something before changing his mind and closing it again.

"is everything alright?" you asked him.

"(Y/N). fuck. I really like you."

I love this ask so much! I love the "will you love me if I were a worm" and I want to write so many people for it! More notes will be at the bottom. CW: Foul language, talking of gore and violence, talks of experimentation on people and OOC actions, Szayelaporro's part is leaning more into the toxic and unhealthy side of things so be warned

Nnoitra feat. Tesla

Honestly you're lucky he likes you so much had anyone else even tried to say something like that they wouldnt be living past it

Nnoitra is mean very mean and will tell right away that if you became a worm he would let you get crushed or eaten and not feel bad

If you want something slightly nice you need to get Tesla involved ask him if he would keep you safe as a worm and wait for Nnoitra to just need to one up him

Tesla plays along without any problems " Of course Y/N should you ever become a worm I will do my best to keep you safe until you go back to being you"

Nnoitra is not happy, not only because you seem so happy about that but also because it makes it seem like Nnoitra cant protect you

It takes nothing more for him to make a big deal about why HE would be the one to love you as fucking worm

Nnoitra seemed like he was in a good mood today after being gone for a few hours he came back boasting about the newest fight he'd won. As things were begining to calm down it seemed liked the perfect chance to ask the question I'd seen floating around the internet lately. " Hey Nnoitra" "Hmm" He glanced over " Would you still love me if I were a worm"? It's almost funny how fast his attention snaps to me " Are you being serious right now.... ya know what, doesnt matter if you were a worm I wouldnt have started loving you." " Nnoitraa thats mean" He scoffs " I bet Tesla would still care about me if I became a worm" I knew he could still hear me and I had to stifle my laugh at the obvious look of anger that comes over him. "Fine" He walks over wrapping his long arms around me " If you became a worm I would still love you but dont think I would just let something like that happen got it"? He's so easy sometimes~

Aizen

The most unamused look you've ever gotten from him, as long as you ask when he's in a good mood its just a huff and stare as he waits for you to explain further

Tell him why you want to know and understand that he needs a reason as to why you become a worm in the first if you want a good response say its because of Szayelaporro

If its captian Aizen you'll get a nice response anyway but blame Mayuri if you want to see a glimsp of the real him

Captain Aizen might say something along the lines of " You would never have to worry about my love for you fading I would simply find a way to help you"

Now if you involved the idea that someone did it to you no matter what side of him you know the reaction is far more agresssive

" If he's truly dumb enough to do something like be sure that I would not only get you back from that sad state I would make sure the pain he felt was worse then death" Now as a captain that might be more of a mumble but the real Aizen says it bluntly and its a soft as you can get from him

It's sometimes hard to believe that Aizen chose me to stand by his side to think someone like him could love, it still seems so odd. Maybe that's why I find it so fun to try and mess with him? " Oh lord Aizen! " Yes my love" He welcomes me immediately, opening his arms for me to sit with him upon the throne. " Would you still love me if I were a worm?" His warmth shields me from the cold of Las Noches, my arms draped on his shoulders and my body rests on his. " My what a strange question." He chuckles before placing a kiss to my forehead " No matter what happens my feeling for you will never waver you will always be My Love. Though should something like that ever happen I will stop at nothing to get you back and those who have crossed us shall suffer beyond what they thought possible" Thank you My King" Surrounded by warmth we bask in one another.

Grimmjow

Such a fast no. He laughs before putting his hand on your head and then gives a quick No

From here you have two choices one is just let it go asking again without a plan will just get you a rude answer back however if you want to wind him up just get pouty

Mention that Ichigo would be nicer to you or that it makes you sad to know he wouldnt care and watch him backtrack fast

" I'm not sayin I wouldnt care but.... Look I would never let you become a worm ok!"

He gets really huffy about it " Dont ask something so stupid okay"? he says with an arm wrapped around you

Will just brush it off after like you never brought it up and dont think to ask again because he will just ignore you

Grimmjow makes it so easy to tease him he gets red at the smallest hints of affection and all jumpy when it comes to being honest about his love for another perhaps that's why I wanted to ask. " Hey Grimmy would you love me if I were worm" Why would I" Hmm I should have gussed that well then time to up the ante" That's really mean Grimmjow so what you wouldnt care at all how crule" He scowls some " Hey thats not what I said" It kinda is" He pulls me to his side aggerssively nuzzling the top of my " Of course I would care if somethin happened to you but being a worm is just stupid alright….now dont pout like that." My lips meet his in a soft peck " Of course Grimmy~"

Ulquiorra

Gives it real thought and at first that seems nice but his answer wont be that kind....at first

A lot like with the others you almost have to coax a nicer answer unlike the others though its never that romantic with Ulquiorra but it can be nice-ish

Asking outright will get a blunt answer of " No. Should you become a worm I cant see why I would love you as such, however I will make sure you get back to your normal self"

He just wont care at first so a little push is needed if you want more then that and even then it wont be the sweetest thing but is much nicer

Once more blaming Szayelaporro is going to be your best choice here but not just in theory tell him it was a threat ( It probably was) and the answer in return is better as he becomes protective

" I would never allow him to do something like that to you but should that ever occur I will make sure you are well taken care of while he fixes it" While it might not be the most romatinc thing it is meaninful coming from him

Sometimes boredom is a person's worst enemy even more when you can't just leave to find something to do. In that quiet place however ideas can strike at any time and today that idea as many others before it involved Ulquiorra. Recently Szayelaporro had been talking about an experiment he'd been looking into and that was a wonderful place to start. " Ul-qui-or-ra'' Yes y/n" would you still love me if I were a worm." I hear the sigh before he looks at me " I would not, however I will make sure you are safe while the problem gets fixed" I should have guessed as much yet I couldn't help but want more " Well would you be upset? Or what if Szayelaporro turned me into a worm would that change anything?" Maybe it sounded desperate but is it wrong to want something more. " How silly" Silly? I mean sure the question is silly but my worries aren't. " If you must know, yes I think I would miss you. It becomes rather lonely when you're not here. However it's odd that you think I would even let that happen. You are under my care as my partner I will not allow any harm to come to you do you understand." Ulquiorra walked over to me resting his hand upon my head and if one looked closed enough you could see his lips curved in the smallest hint of a smile

Kenpachi feat Yachiru

Almost wont give you answer about it, wait a little and he will, it becomes an oddly sweet moment

Now its really easy to ask him as more often then not Kenpachi is happy to let you talk about or ask strange things since thats just you the best part is that Yachiru will join in on the fun

Though the question does throw him off he just shurgs it off to start after all this is a normal thing for you so he's not worried about giving you a staright answer

This is where Yachiru comes in. She also wants to know after all she know if she became a worm you and Kenny would keep her safe and Yachiru tells you she plans to make sure you live a good life as a worm so Kenny should tell you that too

After hearing that Kenpachi will give you an answer a very well thought out on for both you and Yachiru its going to be one the few times you get the sweetness

" I would do anything to keep ya safe Y/N no matter what or who I have to go through. If you became a worm nothing would stop me from getting ya back and making sure you're okay you got that. And Yachiru obviously I would keep ya safe till we could get you back worm or not"

With nothing else to do asking Kenpachi those odd questions in the back of my mind seemed like a good plan. Its not like he would be bothered by it so no harm done right? " Heyy Kenpachi if I were a worm would you still love me?" Nothing.... I guess it wouldnt shock me if he was napping but I was sure he should have heard me " Kenpachi answer me cmon" Again nothing he just shifted some turning his body to face my from where he was laying " You know silence is also an answer so I'll just take it as a no" I pout some turning my nose up and wait " Alright alright no need for that" His gruff voice calls out " Look at me first" For a guy as big as Kenpachi he's so quiet I hadn't even noticed he moved this close " Look I cant say I would love you if I met you AS a worm but if you ever became a worm I would stop at nothing to get you back" Even though I knew he had more to say it didnt stop me from throwing myself in his arms and all he did was laugh, pulling me in and resting me on his lap " No matter who or what I had to fight I would keep ya safe and sound with Yachiru's help and make sure you get back to being you so dont forget that " The feel of his lips on my head make me smile. Who would have thought my silly little question would get him to say so much.

Szayelaporro

Szayelaporro will laugh not in the same way Grimmjow does no this is far worse more evil and it makes you not want to ask why but thats to bad because he plans on telling you why

" Oh Sweet thing of course I wounldnt. If you became a worm its most likely that I was the reason for it."

He doesnt hold back for any reason and thus the only way to get him to be even alittle nice about it is to carry on with that conversation, to ask qustions about it

" Why you ask hahaha well its quite simple if I were willing to do something like that its because I no longer care you...However if something else where to do that to you I could fix it

He brushes by anything else you might say but expect him to be a tad more affectionate after this in a way he veiws this as you saying he hasnt been a good enough partner

Honestly he doesnt think much of it after that but its good little reminder that in some way he does care for you and this is a good way to find out just how much

It's hard to say what made me want to ask him something like this after all knowing Szayelaporro he wouldnt be happy to be asked something so childish. Maybe it was to see if he would care or maybe just because I wanted to know how far I could push him before he got sick of dealing with me, it's hard to say but that didnt stop me from asking. " Szayelaporro if I became a worm would you still love me?" He doesnt bother to stop with whatever he's doing " hahaha My sweet thing if you became a worm isnt it smarter to think I'm the one who did it" Well that doesnt answer my question" " If I did that you should know it means I dont love you, now are we done?" Of course I knew something like this would happen but it still hurts to hear in an odd way " So does that mean you love me now" I could feel the shake of my voice " I see so thats what this is about. I treat you well yes? I make sure to keep you safe from both my tests and the others that raom here, I spend my time with you and seek you out for things outside of work. This might not be love but I do care for you sweet thing" My face felt hot and I could feel the wetness slowing trailing from my eyes. I move before I think, burying my head in his chest I let myself collapse against him and to my shock he lets me, guiding me back to the couch and curling around me we sit in the silence together.

So a few things one I know most of this is so ooc and like thats to be expected but I want to say that I havent seen much on any of the Espada due to where I'm at in the anime and two I now know I love writing szayelaporro so much because I can be so mean with it but still give him some kindness towards his lover and thats fun.
