I don't want a livable wage, I want to live without a wage
I don't want to limit the ages of who governs us, I want no one to govern us at all
I don't want to switch to electric cars, I want to nearly eliminate cars and put effort into eco-friendly means of public transport
I don't want to settle on social change, I want to build a new world from the ashes of the old

Tankies aren't Comrades
For context: I recently migrated to Tumblr and Im used to the State of Reddit where of course there where Tankie subs but it wasnt to hard too acually avoid them.
But Holy Fucking Fuck! The State of leftists Tags on this site is so fucking bad. Like you cant browse the Anticapitalist, communist or socialist Tags without seeing people praising the Soviets or China or just blatantly denying Genocides. Of course I am of the opinion that the left would be stronger If it wouldnt constantly start Infights over nothing. BUT defending Authoritarian regimes, denying Genocide, defending Imperialism(as long as it isnt USA), Warcrimes and the Overall supression of the working Class are under no circumstances part of leftist Values and we dont need these people to stand strong against the System.
If you still consider fighting side by side with these people I recommand you take a look at what happend to teh CNT-FAI during the Spanish civil war. Or the Anrchist/libertarian socialists that fought in the Russian Revolution. These people will stab you in the back or put you in to a Camp first chance they get.
If you are part of the LGBTQ community or Religious minority I recommand looking what is currently happenig to the Uyghurs in China or Russias war on the LGBTQ community.
Luckily most of these people are Keyboard warriors and dont engage with the real world.
But under any circumstances, TANKIES ARE NOT YOUR COMRADES!

hi fellas! this is the first post of my blog, and since i'm a nerd who likes politics this is a not so short explanation of my political orientation:
i'm an anarcho-communist, that sounds a bit like a contradiction, but let me explain. anarcho-communism is, of course, a current of anarchy, the principle is very simple: the establishment of an egalitarian society without any kind of state regulation combined with market abolition and the self-management planning of the economy, which means that workers aren't supervised by a boss, they determine their own goals and methods.
the main difference between anarchy and anarcho-communism is that while the first is based on the single individual, the second puts collective experience on top, which seems more right to me: "the union makes the strenght" it's a sentence i deeply believe in.
some people might think "so you're just a communist at this point huh?" but the answer is no i'm not, why? well, it's very simple: in a communist society everything is run by the state that distributes the resources to the people. in an anarcho-communist society, there isn't a state (otherwise it wouldn't be called ANARCHO-communism, the principle of anarchy is literally no state at all).
another thing that i think it's really important to say is that anarcho-communism also means the abolition of social classes. so, you know that "social pyramid" that you surely have seen on your primary school history book when you studied ancient egypt? that one drawing of a big triangle with the pharao on top and the slaves at the bottom? now take that pyramid and make it fucking flat; no more proletariat or aristocracy, just a lot of people on a horizontal line, working toghether and helping each other.
this leads us to another important principle: the abolition of private property and wage work, this means that every individual would be free to contribute to the production of goods and services and satisfy their needs based on their free decisions.
the most informed will notice that this type of society is really similar to the anarcho-collectivist society, and they're not wrong! but there still are some differences: anarcho-collectivism proposes the collective property in the hands of an association with the individual profit of its members while anarcho-communism denies completely the concept of individual profit.
i'm done for this post, goodbye fellas★

The whole "temporarily embarrassed millionaires" thing never sat right with me. I think the thought is incomplete, and the missing words are important. I think it's more that people have been tricked (and tricked themselves) into thinking we're all playing the same game by the same rules and disaffection for the ultra-rich is just simple envy. If they believe their lack of wealth is a skill issue instead of systemic unfairness, they can defend the system instead of the much, much more daunting thought of struggling against it. Thus it is a virtue to admire the wealthy elite, rather than begrudge them. I think exactly the same thing plays out in the minds of many climate deniers. The thought leads you down a path to war, and the first battle happens inside you. But why take up arms and probably die before you can effect change, when you can just be conquered, occupied, pacified, and maybe the boot won't come down on you. Never mind that the climate wears the biggest boots. They will come down on rich and poor necks alike. I think the world is full of sleepers who have decided their best chance of seeing the Bad Guys Get Theirs now lies in waiting for the enemy of their enemy to enter the fray.
